In preparation for the time when Solomon will build the Temple, David establishes order in the areas of worship, safety, economy, military and government. And Paul, is heartbroken over Israel’s rejection of Jesus as their Messiah.
David does all that he can to set the supplies in place so that Solomon his son can build the Temple. The Levites are prepared to minister to the Lord in the Temple. And, we experience no condemnation all the way to no separation and everything in-between.

The Ark is returned to the Tabernacle. Worship ensues. Thanksgiving songs are sung. David wants to build God a house and God says it’s the other way around. So David did what he could. And, we see how in Christ we are dead to sin and alive to Him.
David attempts to bring back the ark. Initially unsuccessful, David learns to always inquire of the Lord, especially in the face of the enemy, which led to David being successful the second time. And, Paul teaches us how to have peace with God.
Saul and his sons meet their tragic end, as God gives the reasons why HE ended Saul. David is crowned king and conquers Jerusalem. David’s mighty men are listed as well as his military. And Abraham is an example of imputed righteousness.
Families from long ago. Families of Issachar, Benjamin, Naphtali, Manasseh, Ephraim, Asher and Saul. All Israel was recorded as the remnant returns to rebuild and restore. And, all the unrighteous are invited to receive God’s righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ.
Families from long ago. Families of Judah, Simeon, Reuben, Gad, Manasseh, Levi and Aaron. And, Paul talks about how the Jews were just as guilty, before a holy God, as the Gentiles were.
Families from Adam to Abraham. Families of Ishmael, Keturah, Isaac, Seir, Edom, Israel, Hezron, Jerhmeel, Caleb, David, Solomon and Jeconiah, as Ezra reassures the remnant. And Paul speaks on wrath and righteousness to the Romans.
Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, is sent to take control, leading to taking Judah into captivity. All the while, the last few kings of Judah go from bad to worse, inspiring prophecy and fulfilling prophecy. And, the Apostle Paul ministers on Malta and in Rome.
An eight year old becomes king, a good king. Josiah repairs the temple, recovers the Scriptures, reads the Scriptures, removes all of the idolatry and restores worship. And, the Apostle Paul encounters an intense storm on his way to Rome.
Lies, intimidation, and the enemy, extinguished by the Lord with the truth. Hezekiah pleads for more time. God gives it. But, was that for the best? And, the Apostle Paul gives the gospel to King Agrippa.
Israel is taken captive to Assyria. Assyria resettles the land of Samaria. Hezekiah reigns in Judah. He REMOVES the high places. He receives his first test as king. And, the Apostle Paul appeals to Caesar.
Kings, kings and more kings, evil in the North, partially obedient in the South. Elisha dies. God is full of goodness and severity. And, the Apostle Paul shares the good news with the governor, Felix.
Death and destruction reign during the reign of Jehu. During the reign of Jehu in the North, a seven year old named Jehoash is crowned king in the South. Jehoash walked in the ways of the Lord, mostly. And, the Apostle Paul testifies before the Sanhedrin.
A siege ends. A severe famine ends at one word from the Lord. Lepers give the good news. God’s timing is perfect. Hazael hatches an awful plan. Evil kings in the north. Wicked kings in the south. Jezebel dies in Jezreel. And, the Apostle Paul gives his testimony in Jerusalem.
God miraculously provides for yet another widow. A proud military man is humbled and healed. An axe head floats. Spiritual eyes are opened. And, people are perplexed about Paul going to Jerusalem.
Ahaziah asks Baal-Zebub for help and God answers anyway through Elijah. Elisha asks for a double portion as Elijah ascends to heaven. Three kings are directed to dig ditches in the desert. And, the Apostle Paul exhorts the Ephesian elders.
Jezebel shows herself even more wicked then weak King Ahab, murdering a man just for land. Elijah rebukes. Ahab shows remorse. God relents. Israel and Judah join forces against Syria. Ahab dies. And, the believers in Ephesus are baptized with water AND with the Holy Spirit.
Jezebel writes Elijah. Elijah runs from Jezebel. Elijah complains to the Lord. The Lord comforts Elijah with a revelation and an exhortation. Silas and Timothy join Paul in planting the church in Corinth. And, Apollos is discipled by Pricilla and Aquila.
