Three & One

A chosen people, chosen to be set apart through faith-filled obedience, faith that is fueled by God’s past faithfulness not by our own self-righteousness, a model prayer a friend comes at midnight asking, seeking, knocking, a unclean spirit returns highlighting the importance of being healed and sealed by The Holy Spirit.

Moses makes sure this generation understands the importance of sharing these truths with their children, reviewing the 10 commandments, reviewing the greatest commandment, reinforcing once again the importance of teaching this to our children and Jesus sends out the seventy to serve.

A review of Israel’s rebellion, a review of Israel’s wandering in the wilderness, a review of the faithfulness of the Lord and the unfaithfulness of the leaders including Moses and Jesus continues to teach the disciples about the cost of discipleship.

The boundaries of blessing, leaders appointed to divvy up the land, cites for the levites to live in, cities of refuge, laws of inheritance for female heirs, women caring for those in ministry, a young girl and an older woman healed miraculously, graciously, by Jesus.

Equal opportunities for the enemies of Israel, some tribes settling for second best, the Exodus from Egypt up to this point summarized and reviewed and Jesus miraculously heals and miraculously forgives.

Regular rhythms of worship in His word, regulations on keeping your word, your vows and Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath, the fulfillment of the feasts teaches His disciples, His apostles, how to fight by faith.

Moab tempts, Israel sins, God disciplines, a second census is taken as they are nearing the land of promise, the ministry of Moses coming to a close, the ministry of Joshua is just beginning and the first five to follow Jesus.

God divees up the duties for set up and tear down ministry for the Tabernacle, isolates the unclean, reiterates the importance of repentance AND restitution, the law of jealousy, the law of the Nazarite, the priestly blessing and the plot, the Passover, the prediction and the prayer.

Israel is numbered in a census, Israel is arranged in their camp, the priests are numbered and assigned their duties and Jesus gives a confidential briefing concerning The Great Tribulation and His Second Coming.

The Sabbath of the seventh year, God gives full disclosure on the benefits of obedience and the consequences of sin, regulations on the redeeming of persons and property dedicated to God and the Pharisees, Sadducees and the Scribes team up to take on Jesus.
