Nick Lavery - U.S. Green Beret Warrant Officer On Mindset And Why Motivation Is Overrated

On this Veterans Day we would like to honor and thank all veterans.  Nick Lavery (@machine.nc) is a US Green Beret Warrant Officer who has earned three Purple Hearts, a Silver Star, a Bronze Star, and a Bronze Star with Valor, for heroism in combat. With an incredible story of perseverance after he suffered many injuries in battle, resulting in having his leg amputated above the knee, Nick overcame tremendous odds to be considered the first Green Beret to return to combat as an above the knee amputee. Through this experience, Nick gained a unique perspective and offers some incredible advice about life, perseverance, motivation, and work ethic that can benefit each of us.
