Many women imagine or know menopause to be a series of hot flashes, mood swings , and eventually, the end of menstruation. It feels like a journey to the unexpected, which is of itself disconnecting. But often their symptoms are dismissed with platitudes or some are given misinformation about what is happening to their bodies and which therapies or products are effective.
