Welcome to Walking Away From Addiction, a podcast designed to educate, inform, guide and explain everything related to substance abuse and addiction and how to overcome it. We discuss alcohol as well as drug addiction, the symptoms of addiction, the withdrawal process as well as ways to find sobriety. Most of our resources are based in the Southern Colorado area, but this podcast might be helpful to anyone across the country. Whether you are struggling with addiction yourself, or have a loved one you are concerned about, or want to just simply learn about addiction, this podcast is the right place for all of you. We are a team of nurses, addiction counselors and mental health professionals and our goal is to help fight the addiction epidemic as well as stigmas related to the disease.
