Speaker 1 (00:10):
Good morning everyone, good evening, good afternoon wherever you are,
and welcome to this week's weekly energy boost. My name
is Elisheva, and I am here all by my lonesome
to share with you this week's wisdom around choosing your frequency.
As we talked about last week, the month of Leo
is intense, and we can actually leverage the intensity to

(00:34):
accelerate our.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Own process, our own growth.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
It's almost as though when you walk outside with a
candle on a sunny day, it's not that bright, but
if you walk into a dark room with a candle,
you light up the whole room. And this time period
ends up feeling a little bit like that there's so
much darkness that we really do need to make sure
we are being a candle. And sometimes it also feels

(00:58):
like against the dark darkness, what difference can we make?
So I think this is a topic that we haven't
addressed directly, and I'm really excited to dig in with
you guys. Knowing that again we're in the second half
of the month of Leo, which tends to be lighter
than the first half. We still want to understand how
to use the intensity to elevate our frequency to rise

(01:22):
above to be the light rather than to succumb to
the darkness or the negative influences that can sometimes show
up around us. Weekly Energy Boost is a seven day
spiritual weather forecast where we provide our listeners with the
most practical and powerful tools to navigate the coming seven days.
We do that by gleaning wisdom and tools from the

(01:42):
teachings of Kabbalah, and every episode ends up providing timeless
wisdom and tools that you can use not only this week,
but literally any week. And the concept of frequency, I
think it sounds like a very even when I hear
the word. It sounds like a new a or even
scientific concept.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
But the truth is that.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
In the spiritual sentence, our frequency, our vibration, is one
of the only things that's really in our control, in
our complete control. And I think there's a few ways
to look at it, and hopefully I'll do my best
in articulating these ways not only to look at it,

(02:27):
but to strengthen it or elevate it, and also how
to use our frequency in our environment to support others,
to be a driving force versus a passive passenger in
our experience. So last week we actually talked about I
actually talked about that like attracts like, right, that we

(02:49):
part of what cultivating closeness with the Creator means is
aligning ourselves with the qualities of the Creator, the likeness
of creative, being more light like and.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
In that same vein.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
According to Kabbalah, we don't attract what we want, we
attract what we are. So, I mean, my teacher Monica
often says, right, you have to be the person you
want to marry, be your soulmate.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Would you want to date yourself?

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And it's another I mean, it's a different angle, but
it's another way of saying the same thing. When we
operate from from lack, from fear, from anger, from desperation,
from arrogance, even we align with those things.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
So if you align with anger.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Or fear, you can imagine what that might do to
your frequency, to your vibration. When we shift to a
higher frequency, a frequency of certainty, of sharing, of love,
of openness, that's really what opens us up to.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
Removing the limitation.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
And what do I mean by that? And we can
look at relationships as a great example. Let's say you
have a certain person that's out there that's meant to
be yours. Meaning is going to be the best partner
for you in this lifetime to help you grow and
you to help them grow. But your frequency, or the

(04:26):
place that you're operating from now is a place of fear.
Fear of not finding the right person, fear of not
finding the right person in time to start a family,
fear of being alone, fear of settling, fear of needing
to settle. And when you operate from that place of fear,
you attract someone who meets you there right. You attract

(04:49):
somebody who's going to you will have to settle for
your consciousness, which is essentially the broadcast of your soul,
is what's going.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
To create the movie that you experience.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
It's like the projector so that if you're projecting fear
and worry, you attract a reality where that you should
be fearful and worried of versus. And I know it's
kind of oversimplifying it to say certainty, sharing, love, and openness,
but it's this is not a concept in physics. It's
a spiritual law that the universe is going to meet

(05:25):
you where you're at and not it's you know, it's
like dress for.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
The job you want.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
Maybe that's another physical way to talk about it.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Being the person that you would want to marry or
you would want to.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
Date is actually a way to elevate your frequency out
of that limited place and into a place of expansion. Now,
why why be in a place of expansion? What's explained
to you the benefit of that Your consciousness is basically
your frequency. I said before, It's like the projector of
your movie. So if every thought, word, and action emanates

(06:02):
a vibration, If your thoughts are fearful, if your words
are fearful, if you act out of fear, you're lowering
your frequency. And so you're going to experience life at
the frequency that you're on. Now, how do you know
if you're vibrating or if you're operating at a higher

(06:25):
low frequency. Look at the course of the last twenty
four hours in your life, and again annoying Kabbala asks
you to be honest, to be objective about what you're
going to look for right now, Would it be correct
to say that you spent more time expressing your negative
traits being a victim, being angry, being upset, being irritated, being.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
Arrogant, selfish.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Think about all the negative traits you might be able
to exhibit, were you opting Did you live more of
your last twenty four hours in that mode or were
you living more in a mode of compassion, humility, openness, certainty, empathy, positivity,

(07:16):
and really being able to say okay in the last
twenty four hours. Granted, I'm sure you slept, but let's
say in your last eighteen waking hours, if you can say, well,
you know, I had.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
A really hard day yesterday.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
I was probably thirty percent high frequency seventy percent low frequency.
Think about what that frequency emission is asking for, So
that if your mindset was life is hard, I'm never
going to be successful.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
I'm never going to find the right person.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
What are you what like if you are a radio
station and you're broadcasting that, who's listening?

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Right?

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I think that that's also another really good metaphor for it.
The frequency that you broadcast at is what attracts people
and situations to you. Do you want the thirty percent
positive seventy percent negative.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Reality or do you want to change it?

Speaker 1 (08:11):
And that's really the ultimate question to ask yourself this
week is how consciously am I choosing my frequency? That's
why the title is choose your frequency. Your frequency is
not a product of your childhood and your upbringing, and
your religion and your socioeconomic situation. It is a constant choice,

(08:35):
and if you are not choosing, the default is low frequency.
Not because your negative or something is wrong with you,
but that is the nature of living in the physical reality. Yes,
you are ninety nine percent soul and one percent body.
But while in the physical world, the weight of the body,
which is emotions, ego intellect, the nature of that is heavy.

(09:00):
It's natural to be brought down by all of that influence.
That's why in Kabbalah we learn that and I'm going
to share with you at least one tool to elevate
out of that. But if you're not consciously choosing to
be proactive, to be mindful, to be empathetic, to be

(09:22):
a force of goodness, by default, the non choice is negative.
And I think coming to terms with that reality understanding
it's not personal, it's not you, it's not any fault
of yours. It's not something in your wiring or your
upbringing that makes you that way. That is human nature, right,
So we want to be I think in these in

(09:44):
the month of Leo, it.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Is the most impactful.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
To be mindful, to consciously choose your frequency versus.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Some months of the year.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
I think the natural state is ease and energy like
high frequency. This is one of those times where it's not,
which means it's even more important that you take an active.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
Role in creating it.

Speaker 1 (10:08):
And if you're asking me, which I know you are,
what is what I would say the most powerful tool
in shifting right, The first tool is choose it right.
You wake up in the morning and you're in a
bad mood, how much effort do you make to flip
the script. Do you just say, oh, it's going to

(10:28):
be one of those days, or maybe I'll call in
to work sick, or you know, I'll take the kids
to school and then I'll crawl back into bed, or
do you say, you know what, No, I'm not going
to be a victim of my mood or what I
ate for dinner last night, or the fact that I
didn't go to the gym yet. This way like, you're
not going to be a product of your choices. You're
going to choose to elevate and make different choices. So
I think the first tool you have is to choose differently,

(10:52):
is to choose to be in charge of your frequency.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
And not the victim of it.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Once you realize you're operating at a lower free and
see what do you do? And I think this is
maybe the more you know the place where Kabbala departs
from the conversation. I'm sure a lot of spiritual wisdom
out there and a lot of self help and thought
leaders will say, you know, you have to make the
conscious choice to be a force for good. That is

(11:18):
a universal I would say, universal teaching, universal recommendation. In Kabbala,
I would say, the main tool that we use to
shift our frequency when we find that it is not
where we want it to be is called restriction. And
we have talked about restriction in many ways, shapes and
forms over the years. What restriction really means for today's discussion,

(11:44):
without getting into all the nuts and bolts of it,
is to pause and to choose a higher response rather
than operating from ego, from entropy, from from human nature.
Right even though normally when I feel this way, I

(12:06):
would call the office and say I'm not coming in,
or find somebody to replace me for the day, or
you know, find a way to bow out of showing
up because my energy is not where it is where
I want it to be or where I'd like it
to be, instead pausing and saying, wait, what's a higher
response than abandoning ship? What's a higher response than calling

(12:29):
it quits. What's a higher response than blaming and shaming
other people to offset my frustration?

Speaker 2 (12:34):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (12:35):
And again, of course it goes back to last week's episode,
also about that closeness in essence with the creator. But think, well,
there's always connections across weeks to the energy and to
the opportunity, especially in a single month, but in the
moment that you're able to pause and shift, even if

(12:56):
it's one degree higher, even if it's I'm not going
to call in sick. I'm going to go into work
and I'm going to get a triple shot of espresso,
and I'm gonna listen.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
I'm gonna put in my AirPods.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
I'm going to listen to high energy music until I
just break. I'm going to fake it till I make it.
Faking it till you make it is a higher vibration
than calling in sick and shutting out the world for
the rest of the day. So it's not about and
this is something that I actually had a conversation with
a good friend about something that I realized about myself

(13:30):
over the last few years is that my one thing
I know really helps me shift my vibration is exercise.
That the days that I exercise in the morning, I
have a much better day. And I sort of I
realized about myself that I have a perfectionist mentality about this,
like if I can't exercise in the morning, I'm just
not going to do it. I'm not going to exercise

(13:51):
at four pm. It's not gonna it's not worth it.
And if I can't exercise every day this week, I'm
not going to excerciy it all.

Speaker 2 (14:01):
And I realized what kind.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Of I don't know you want to call it, like
choke hold that my opponent had on me about needing
to do this in the right way or not doing
it at all. At the same time, I know how
deeply important it is, how impactful it is for me
for my frequency every day to get my body moving.

(14:23):
And when I stopped needing to do it every day
of the week, and when I stopped needing to do
it before nine am, there was so much more joy
and just shifting my rigidity about it changed my frequency.
And so you know, I use that as an example
because it's again, it's so simple. It's not fundamental, it's

(14:43):
not life shattering, it's something so simple where I realized
I had such a fixed mindset about how things needed
to be that A it wasn't joyful, and B I
wasn't doing it because I couldn't do it right. So
part of shifting using restriction as a frequency shifter is
really understanding where am I stuck, Where am I rigid?

Speaker 2 (15:08):
Where am I holding.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
Myself to expectations that cannot possibly be met. And so
because I can't do things right, or I can't do
things perfectly or as they should be, my frequency as
being I'm heavy, I'm low. And of course it's a
perfect example because it's actually about moving your body and
changing your vibration. But at the same time understanding that

(15:31):
simply pausing and saying, how can I approach this differently?
How can I be more open minded, flexible, curious interested?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
How can I do things differently?

Speaker 1 (15:42):
And sometimes just doing things differently changes your frequency. But
if you don't pause and ask the question, you don't
have the opportunity to restrict that natural gravity that the
body has to lower your frequency, and maybe that's an
even better way to think about it. It's like gravity.
Gravity is going to pull you down. It has a purpose,

(16:03):
but the purpose is actually for us to rise above
it in spiritual context. So restriction also isn't repression, and
I guess we don't say that enough.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Necessarily.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Restriction is when it's really what we're doing is we're
choosing soul over ego. We're deciding that despite how I feel,
whether it's energetically, emotionally, mentally, I'm going to allow my consciousness,
my higher self, to take over. But if we're not
going to practice the pause, I'm not going to ask

(16:34):
the question, what's a higher response? What can I do differently?
And sometimes it's just about doing something different. It's not
even about what's the best response, but it's just about
what's a different way to handle this or navigate this.
We shift our frequency and there are other tools, obviously
other wisdom. I can't pack it all into thirty minutes,
but there is a lot of a lot of the

(16:56):
teachings of Kabbala, and the tools that we have are
really full are shifting our frequency. And you know, I
know that you know this, especially if you've been listening
for any period of time if you're new to the
weekly Energy Boost. The purpose of the podcast itself is
to provide our listeners with something they can share with
other people that doesn't tell them what is Kabbala about.

(17:17):
It actually is the teachings of Kabala in a way
that you can understand it regardless of where you are
on your spiritual journey. So even in thinking about sharing
as a way to shift your frequency, right when you
notice that you're in a low frequency, the fact of
the matter is it's usually because you're very self focused.
Again ego body, me, self preservation, taking care of myself,

(17:41):
and I don't mean self care, taking care of myself
meaning like defending and protecting. Being consumed with me is
a big frequency downer. So if you can get outside
of yourself and share with someone else, and I'm saying
it as you know, use the podcast.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
You have my permission.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Any time you feel yourself low for ask yourself, who
can I share with right now? How can I get
out of myself for the sake of elevating my frequency.
That's not selfish. The entire world benefits when your frequency
is elevated, So think about who you can share with,
even By the way, going back again to the podcast,

(18:18):
why do we learn what the energy of the week is?

Speaker 2 (18:21):
Why do you know?

Speaker 1 (18:22):
You could listen to what I said about the month
of Leo and say, why are you being so negative?
It could be a great month. Why are you injecting that?
The truth of the matter is that by me knowing
that the month of Leo is an intense month and
I know it's easy for me in this month to
feel depleted and heavy, I can proactively do the things
that I know will help me feel lighter, so that

(18:43):
the kabalistic astrological awareness also helps us preemptively elevate our frequency.
It really is that simple that every month, when I
learn what are the gifts and the pitfalls of that month,
I can manage my energy better so that I don't
fall to the potentially negative things. Again, when we say

(19:05):
it's negative, what are we really saying. I have the
opportunity to be compelled by that energy or I have
the opportunity to rise above it.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
And I think, you know.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
There's other tools like meditation, reading zohar on. We have
so many tools from the teachings of Kabala that can
help with increasing our frequency. Elevating our frequency. But I
think even without those tools, you have the ability just

(19:37):
inside yourself to elevate it. And of course those tools
are there for us to support us, to help us
feel nourished, to help us feel elevated, so that it's
not the burden is not all on our mental or
spiritual strength. As I mentioned in the beginning of the episode,
environment is also a factor, you know now I'm talking
to you.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
You know there are.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
Certain people who bring you down, whose energy drains you,
makes you feel heavy, makes you tired, is exhausting, and
it's a choice to spend time with them. It's also
a choice not to spend time with them or to
do what you need to do. So maybe in some
cases it's family that you can't avoid or people at
work that you can't avoid. The question I have for you,

(20:18):
and I mean you, what can you do to elevate
your own frequency so that you are less affected by them?
Meaning you operate in those scenarios as the cause, not
the effect of their energy. You create an energy shift
in the room and don't leave it to their energy.

(20:41):
And environment is also the news you watch, the music
you listen to, the books you read, be really mindful.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
I always talk about how.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
The news is extremely frequency squelching for me, So I'm
really discerning about how and what kind of news I consume.
And you can say, well, you know, don't be ignorant.
I'm not ignorant. I'm still reading the headlines, but I
am more cautious about the rabbit holes I fall through

(21:13):
because my energy is so specifically sensitive to the drama
and chaos in the world. It could be something else
for you. It could be sports. You know, sometimes people
at sporting events are really intense and it's scary and
it can be absolutely depleting.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
You need to know yourself and you need to be mindful.
I don't think all of it.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
We think of environment as people, but environment is media, music,
even the furniture. Right, if you're sitting in a room
with gray walls and black couches, that might also be
lowering your frequency.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
So it's something else to think about.

Speaker 1 (21:46):
But I think the last thing that I want to mention,
and I do want to see if we can get
to a listener question, is your frequency is not fixed,
meaning the moment you realize that you're off, that you
need a boost, that you're not where you know you
can be or you'd like to be, or maybe you're

(22:08):
going somewhere and you know it's important that you're on
your game and you feel that you're not there. The
moment that you realize it is the moment you can
change it. And to me, the easiest is the sharing.
You know, finding somebody to support, to be there for,
to to do something kind to It can be a stranger,

(22:29):
it can be someone you know.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
To me, that's the easiest.

Speaker 1 (22:31):
Way to to upgrade, to increase your frequency, your vibration,
but to know that the moment you realize it is
literally the moment you can change it. And sometimes it's
just the realization, wow, I let myself be drained by
that friend, or wow, you know, I spent too much
time reading about the disaster in so and so to

(22:55):
be really conscious, to be to pay attention. And I
think that this is a great week to create the
formula for you of what helps you elevate your frequency
and maintain a high frequency, and to be really demanding
about those conditions being met, because they can't always be met.
But if you most of the time demand those qualities

(23:19):
of yourself and your environment, then when you are depleted
or your frequency is diminished, it's easier to bounce back.
I wanted to do another question, and I'm trying to
see I wrote, I collected so many and I'm trying
to be in the moment and see which one. Okay,

(23:42):
you know what, Actually this one is very relevant according
to what we were just talking about. The question the
general question is how do I use restriction, which we
were just talking about a minute ago, How do I
use restriction in real time moments of anger or jealousy
or impatience. And lucky for me, I just taught a

(24:05):
class about anger recently, and so it's fresh in my mind.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
So that was also why an easy one for me
to use.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
Let's say it you find yourself getting angry, and you know, objectively,
let's say it's a person you're in a relationship with
a partner, parent, sibling, child, somebody that you engage with
your around a lot, and you know that when you
when it comes to a certain topic or a certain situation,

(24:36):
you get angry or you're already not in a good
place about it, and you know if you have that discussion,
you're going to get angry. What does restriction look like
in that sense? In the department of anger, and I
believe impatience is also it's the same thing. The goal
is to slow your role enough so that you can

(24:58):
genuinely ask yourself, I is getting angry now a long
term solution for the problem that you have enough of
a pause and enough of a slow down to ask
yourself the question, is getting angry what I really want
to do right now? And the answer might be yes,

(25:18):
and then let it loos. But if you slow down
and you remember I love this person and me getting
angry in the past hasn't changed things, So me getting
angry right now isn't going to change something.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
What can I do instead? What is a different response?

Speaker 1 (25:36):
And I say different because at that point anything else
other than anger will be better. If you can activate
your higher awareness enough to say, what's a better response
right now? And if you're asking me what's a better response?
If anger is your go to reaction, compassion, empathy, love, acceptance, silence,

(25:58):
and silence is only good if you're also not raging inside.
Right If you shut your mouth, but inside you want
to choke them, it's that's repression.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
That's not restriction.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Restriction is I'm going to put aside my compulsion, my
urge right now to get angry and choose a different
way to reveal light, because it actually anger reveals a
flash of light, and then you're in darkness. There's a
rush of energy, and then the light bulb bursts. So

(26:31):
restriction in real time is all about the pause. Can
you pause in that moment that you feel the trigger
mounting and remember that this instant gratification of anger, of jealousy,
of impatience, it's not really what you want. You don't
want to be a jealous person. You don't want to
be impatient or annoyed or frustrated. You want to be

(26:56):
at peace. You want to be like the light. What
would the light look like the light feel in this situation?
It's never anger, and it's never impatience. It's calm, it's peace,
it's love, its acceptance. And that doesn't mean, you know,
it's not a contradiction. You may need to have a
boundary with the person who makes you angry or impatient,
but being more lightlike is always going to lead you.

(27:20):
The quest to be more lightlike is always going to
lead you to a better response. So if maybe the
old you used to throw a fit and the new you,
today's you is going to breathe, pause, breathe, and say,
you know what the story I'm telling myself right now is,
this isn't going to change, and I need your help
rewriting the story. So you're still kind of getting angry,

(27:42):
but you're asking for help to not go there, already
changing your movie, already changing your frequency, already changing the
trajectory of the repetitive situation that keeps getting you angry
with this person.

Speaker 2 (27:54):
So really opening up to.

Speaker 1 (27:58):
Restriction is really about opening yourself up to being fulfilled. Right,
the anger is going to fulfill you for a minute.
The impatience fulfills you for a minute, right, you feel
better than the other person you're annoyed with them. You
get it out and you feel better for a minute.
But it's not a long term solution. Restriction is about
pausing and seeking an alternate way to be fulfilled in

(28:20):
that moment that's going to result in lasting peace, not
temporary feeling good and then this situation happening again later.

Speaker 2 (28:29):

the years and ask different ways shapes and forms. My
brother's on a negative path and I'm obsessing over it.
How can I let it go? That's the answer to
the question. Yeah, And so continue to send us those
questions to write in. Sometimes it's appropriate to give all

(28:51):
the details. Sometimes I think I think it makes more
sense to summarize the question. But hopefully that's been helpful,
and I want to hear from more of you, so
send us your messages. Weekly Energy Boost is available on
all podcast platforms, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. You can follow
us there for additional content to support you in living
what we talk about every week. You can also go

(29:13):
to our website Weekly energyboost dot com, where you'll find
our archives, things we think are important for our listeners
to know about, as well as the send us a
message and the donate button. You can help support and
make Weekly Energy Boosts possible.

Speaker 2 (29:29):
By donating to the cause, but.

Speaker 1 (29:32):
As always, the best way you can support the cause
is to share this episode and help Weekly Energy Boost
get out in front of more ears and more eyes,
and hopefully tip the scales so that there's less of
us struggling with frequency and that the greatest struggle is
how can we share more of our light.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
We'll see you next week on the Weekly Energy Boost
