In this episode, we delve into the art of self-care and explore how to build a tool kit of practices and alternative therapies that not only create joy, balance and ease but ensure healthy aging and managing inflammatory responses so you can remain at your very best. Self-care can often be misconstrued as self-indulgence, but that couldn't be further from the truth. It means taking care of yourself so you can stay healthy, you can do your job, you can help and care for others, and you can do all the things you need to accomplish in any given day.

Debbie interviews Kendra Raymond, a Master Healer/Wellness Coach who uses a combination of self-care practices, yoga, traditional fitness modalities, body work, and other forms of energy healing to develop personalized programs for the unique needs of each of her clients. Employing her keen intuition, knowledge of anatomy, a lifetime of experience working through her own injuries and ailments, and one-on-one concierge wellness with clients, she will bring you to your personal balance with efficiency.

Debbie and Kendra discuss their personal stories around self-care and self-advocacy and how their practices, rituals and alternative therapies promote a sense of empowerment, confidence, and resilience. When individuals prioritize self-care, they are better able to manage stress, maintain physical health, and enhance emotional and spiritual well-being. This leads to increased self-esteem and overall satisfaction with life.
