When Dr. Aly Cohen’s golden retriever got a very rare autoimmune hepatitis diagnosis 15 years ago, she started to explore environmental toxins and their health impacts. As a practicing rheumatologist, she’d noticed increasing rates of autoimmune diseases in younger patients with no family history, suggesting environmental factors might be at play. Dr. Cohen (no relation!) became an expert in toxins and now helps us navigate guarding our health against these assaults on our bodies… in a positive, doable way!
