Here we are with another episode of the Who is Asheville podcast. Today, we'll chat with Kevin Dylus, the director of Blue Ridge Marksmanship LLC, a firearms training academy located in Western North Carolina. Listen to Kevin's story as he talked about how he ended up in the military, how they chose Asheville, and how he built his training academy.

Kevin is a man who doesn't love much change. Although he adapts to the changes around him, he would have wanted things to remain the way they are. That's why he's stayed in the military for 25 years, been married to the same woman for nearly 24 years, and used only six vehicles throughout his life.

In the military, Kevin learned not only discipline and following rules. Above all, he learned how to be responsible for other people's lives. He realized that his decisions could alter the lives of the men under him. Check out the rest of the episode and discover how Kevin's firearms training academy came to be and all the other ordeals he had to go through that shaped him as the father, husband, and instructor he is today.

Kevin talks about his early days as a military man, how he fell in love with Asheville, and ultimately establishing a firearms training academy just 45-minutes away from the city. Listen to the episode and hear him share his funny and inspiring story of adapting to change, love, and survival.
