Scott helps remote teams and students connect through play.
Scott Novis is the founder of Bravous, a company that is helping businesses increase retention by facilitating highly dynamic live and virtual video game events for their employees. Scott comes from an eclectic background of professional influences; he has two engineering degrees, spent decades as a video game executive, and worked as a Disney executive before leaving to found GameTruck, a nationwide franchise company that provides social gaming spaces for children at parties and special events.
Today, Scott focuses on helping breakdown the barriers of isolation using video games by using them as a tool for connection. Whether a group of college students trying to make friends, or a team of remote workers who have been isolated by their new working conditions, Scott believes video games can help. Technology does not have to be isolating. Managed effectively, it can be a platform for transformation, change, and yes, even friendship.
Along with the social video game events, Bravous aims to take the boredom out of traditional training with their revolutionary take on a team communication workshop, Culture Kitchen.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
