Youth Voices in Mental Health - a podcast produced by and about the personal experiences of NAMI New York State’s NextGen Youth Council. The producers and hosts of this show are a 10-person, lived-experience young adult advisory group dedicated to guiding the world toward kinder, innovative, and inclusive outcomes for mental health youth and young adults. Harnessing the spirit of the next generation, the podcast explores personal experiences through the lens of how NAMI and the mental health community are serving their community. NAMI-NYS is the state chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) - the largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
