Speaker 1 (00:02):
Due to the graphic nature of this program, listener discretion.
Is it lies the Woody Show? I believe this is
(00:24):
the Woody Show. Insensitivity Training class is now in session.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
A good morning, everybody. Today is Wednesday. It's July thirtieth,
twenty twenty five. Hello and welcome. We are the Woody Show.
My name is one. That's Greg Gory. Good morning. We
got Menace, Hi, Gina Grads here, See Mass is here.
We got Sammy Morgan is here. She's your associate producer,
(01:04):
Vaughn video producer. We got Bort, we got Menji holding
things down the Woody Show production department. Dumbass. Tyler's ranning
around here somewhere, taking up space, sticking the place up.
Phones are open? Eight seven? Does he shower? Okay, Tyler? Yeah, yeah,
yeah we told him to okay, Yeah, I told him yeah,
(01:24):
eight seven seven forty four. Wooding, you can send us
a text over to two to nine eight seven. All right.
So people complain all the time. You see it in
everything that you do. I'm sure wherever you work, you
got customers or whoever's complaining. You got co workers complaining,
You got people on social media complaining about social media
or about Spotify, for example, let me get a lot
(01:47):
of complaints about not having the podcast on spot anyway.
People complain about the dumbest things. We highlight those things
with The Woody Show Crossroads. Now, these are people who
are basically saying, like, I'm not listening to the show anymore.
They threatened their listenership and the hunt with you. We
choose not to care because these are the people we
are essentially firing, and we are sending them to the
(02:07):
proverbial crossroads. That's coming up today, the funny stuff that
people complain about treading news headlines. Of course, you got
a brand new redneck news menas has the entertainment stuff.
I've got the Birthday's got the corner Birthday all coming
up for you this morning here on The Woody Show.
A couple things, but Menace, you had a question for everybody.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
I have a question because there's this podcast I listened to.
It's called Giggly Squad, right, I've heard of it, and
one of the people on the podcast, Hannah Burner. She
does stand up. She's super funny, but she's thirty three.
She just got a license for the first time at
thirty three. Yeah, and she was talking about it. I mean,
she lives in New York, so she doesn't really drive
that much. But my question is, is this new? She said
(02:49):
when she took her test that they would not let
her know right away if she passed or not, that
she had to wait until the evening to check online.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
For the written test. No, you never heard of that
in New York. Yeah, because she says that they don't
tell you right away anymore because there's been too much
drama with people fighting the people.
Speaker 4 (03:13):
Yeah, changing this.
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah, they physically get attacked. Yeah if they don't pass.
If they don't pass, so check.
Speaker 4 (03:21):
Yeah, that's better you know once you get home.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah, or is that I mean all that stuff is
I think state by state obviously Yeah, yeah, but like
so many people have been attacked that now you have to,
oh my check.
Speaker 5 (03:34):
Can they ruined it for everybody?
Speaker 6 (03:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (03:36):
I mean people, people really are the dumbest. People keep
saying about how society just gets dumber and dumber my day,
which is true. I was just watching something, another cruise thing.
I think it was on a Royal Caribbean ship. They
have an infinity pool, yes, I saw that, and this
woman's like reaching over to grab some sunglasses that felt,
and she like just did like a head flip right
(03:59):
out of the infinity over the over the ed, Like
clearly it's too far down for you to reach. I'm
sure you can get somebody from the cruise staff or
whatever who could have retrieved those sunglasses. But so dumb
and people are like people keep falling off these ships,
like what did you was doing? Yeah, there's video of
the whole thing because there was another Patrick going look
at this dummy, But like it has not like an
(04:21):
indictment of cruises.
Speaker 4 (04:22):
It we're getting dumber, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
That that's an indictment of how dumb we have become
as as a society, for sure. But yeah, just dumb
people doing dumb things. Stop the planet, like I won
off the planet. Yeah yeah sometimes yeah, but if you're
fighting somebody because you didn't pass your driving right, yeah yourself.
(04:45):
There was a there's actually a story I was hearing about.
There was this San Francisco restaurant or a chef or something.
It was in San Francisco, and this influencer from TikTok
right alleged that the restaurant refused her a free meal
and disparaged her followers, claiming that she wasn't famous enough
(05:07):
for a promotional collaboration. Okay, now there's some back and
forth about was she invited to come by and check
out this restaurant or whatever. Now she's a quote influencer.
She's got fifteen thousand followers.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Which was the chef's question, why are you here?
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yeah? Correct, Now again, you can go back and forth.
But the fact that we're even debating this as like
a this is a real life thing. Somebody's upset they
didn't get a free meal to review for their instagra
or whatever their new influence her account, like the planet
is so dumb. People are dumber by the minute.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I can't take it not getting any better. But that's
I mean, it makes sense. What you're saying makes sense,
And I can see why they go to that because
people can't control themselves.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
No, right, you got to get away from this person.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
And the Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
I want to know if that's like everywhere or just
New York. Some agree or disagree. People are asked if
the age requirement for different things should be raised or lowered.
And we'll start with this. I was talking about driving,
getting your your permitter or your license. Do you think
the driving age should be raised from sixteen. Now, I know,
(06:13):
like New Jersey is already seventeen other places, but sixteen
seems to be the norm. Do you think the driving
age should be raised from sixteen?
Speaker 7 (06:21):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (06:21):
You know what? No, No, I don't not really. As
the father of a sixteen year old, I.
Speaker 4 (06:27):
Say yes, older I get, the more I'm like, they're.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Not ready, Like they're giving people licenses like this guy.
Speaker 4 (06:34):
Baby.
Speaker 8 (06:36):
Here's what I'll say is they were talking about changing
it to eighteen when I was in high school. And
had they done that, I graduated high school at seventeen.
So my parents are going to drive me to my
whole first semester of college because I wouldn't have been
eighteen yet.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
True. Oh, week, fifty two percent of people said that
the driving age should be raised. Yeah. The people would
be pissed about that. Are sixteen year old? Exactly? Yeah?
Make a twenty one for all my care. Should you
be able to see a rated R movie before seventeen? Y?
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Yeah they're doing it anyway, right, Well.
Speaker 2 (07:08):
They're doing it. Okay, they're doing it anyway. But like
whatever the rule we're talking about the rule? Yeah for sure,
I say, I don't know I mean maybe maybe sixteen.
If the driving age is sixteen, should be able to
see an.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
Rraated movie d R I'd say twelve.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Honestly, twelve forty nine percent said that you should be
able to see an R rated movie before seventeen. Should
the drinking age be lower than twenty one?
Speaker 3 (07:34):
I've always said this. If you're in the military, yes,
you should be able to drink. If you're not in
the military.
Speaker 4 (07:40):
No, I think eighteen is fine.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Well, here's the thing. I think if you're in another country,
whatever the drinking age is, is what the drinking age is.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
So you are based in the United States, you should
be able to drink.
Speaker 2 (07:51):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (07:52):
You can legally vote in our country. Why can't you
have alcohol?
Speaker 2 (07:55):
Yeah, Okay, we're gonna get to the voting thing here
in a second. Let's just keep it to the drinking
age for right now. Do you think you should be
lower than twenty one?
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Eighteen seems good to make eighteen, I say no.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
If you're quote an adult at eighteen.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, it's like kind of the drive. I think the
driving age should be should be raised, but I think
the drinking age is pretty good where it is. We
should kind of get those more in line. I mean,
not like you should be twenty one the drive, but huh,
seventeen I think seventeen is good for driving?
Speaker 5 (08:21):
But yeah, how about twenty? Then why is it always
twenty one? I don't know, weird.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Forty one percent of people so the drinking age should
be lowered, So the majority think it's either good or
should be higher. Should you be able to vote before eighteen?
Speaker 4 (08:35):
No?
Speaker 2 (08:36):
No, absolutely not, no way you should raison twenty one. Yeah,
make that, make you know, make that and the voting age,
the voting age and the and the drinking age. Just
leave it at twenty one. Yeah, totally. Twenty five percent
of people said you should be able to vote before eighteen.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
No.
Speaker 2 (08:55):
All right, So again we're talking from a legal standpoint here,
not what people actually do. People were asked to agree
or disagree. Should you be able to watch porn before eighteen?
Speaker 4 (09:05):
Would you nice?
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I mean everybody is Yeah, again, not what people are doing.
You're talking about like whatever the rule is.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
The rule is no, it'll ruin your brain. Yeah, give
him a chance to like do it on their own.
Speaker 2 (09:17):
That's fair.
Speaker 5 (09:17):
It'll skew your reality.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 2 (09:20):
Seventeen percent said that you should be able to watch
porn before eighteen, some majority obviously thinks so maybe not.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
We're good.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
I'll give you. I'll give you one more. Greg, Huh.
Should you be able to gamble legally before twenty one?
Speaker 9 (09:32):
Ummm?
Speaker 2 (09:34):
Yeah again, I'm gonna put that at eighteen as well. See,
I thought, is the lottery eighteen? I think it is? Yeah,
I mean it's a form of gambling, is it not.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Oh, it's gambling.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
Here's the money. I hope I win.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
Yeah. So if you can play the lottery at eighteen,
I don't see why you can't go into a casino
and play a slot machine if you're eighteen. True.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Yeah, most states it's eighteen.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Yeah, except for Louisiana, Nebraska, Iowa, and then on raise
it to twenty one.
Speaker 2 (10:02):
Okay, So the majority of places it's eighteen. Okay, So
that's gambling. That's weird. The way they phrased it. For
the people that they were talking to, they add, that's
how they asked the question, should be able to gamble
legally before twenty one? Nine percent said you should be
able to? So hell no, yea, because we know that
just means the majority of people don't like the way
the los set up right now right, it's too low.
Speaker 5 (10:22):
And we use that blanket term of you're an adult
at eighteen. If you're an adult, you should be able
to do adult.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Things right like drink and gas, drink gamble.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
All right, That's that's why I got four agree or
disagree phones open. Let's know if you got thoughts on
any of that eight seven seven forty four Wooding, you
can send us a text. Check in this morning over
to two two nine eight seven. I'll take the break.
We'll get some more woody show coming up for you. Next,
hang on, sit tight more, next show. What's up?
Speaker 4 (10:48):
Everybody?
Speaker 7 (10:48):
It's metas This Friday, August first, four to seven pm,
West Covina, California. Hang out with me at Norms. I
got a bunch of giveaways. First seventy five people get
free food. I'm giving away breakfast for a year, give cards,
theme park tickets, concert tickets, and more. Again this Friday,
August first, four to seven pm and West Covina at Norms.
In the meantime, keep it enjoying the Woods Show podcast.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
It's another new hour Insensitivity Training for a politically Correct World. Wednesday,
July thirtieth, twenty twenty five on Woody, that's Greg Gory. Yeah, high,
we got menace. What is up? Sea Mass? You got
Sammy Morgan Seier ticket your calls eight seven seven forty
four Woodie. You can send us a text over to
(11:34):
two to nine eight seventh. Big story today's you know,
earthquake in Russia, huge tsunami warning, tsunami waves hitting Hawaii, Hawaii,
and they got like a whole chunk of the West
coast under a tsunami alert or warning, misory advisory whatever.
Speaker 5 (11:54):
They constantly change it from the warning advisory to watch. Yeah,
and then there's information statement.
Speaker 2 (12:00):
Yeah. So here here's a question like Hawaii, I get
obviously much closer like when you when you talk about
like the West coast of the United States. And I'm
asking as an ignorant, stupid person, Okay, so I'm asking
for an actual answer here. Okay, I hope I have
how I mean, because that's that's quite the distance, Like
how how much of a wave or an increase in
(12:21):
you know, water level would you expect so far from
because like when you when you when you drop like
a rock into a still like body of water or
you know whatever, a pool or something or paw and
pond and you watch, like the the ripples they start
getting smaller as the circle gets wider. Right, so, like
(12:42):
how much like from Russia to the West coast of
the United States, Like how much Well.
Speaker 5 (12:47):
Let's see from Russia from where the quake was to Hawaii,
that was just over three thousand miles.
Speaker 2 (12:52):
Like that seems that that's more, you know, like I
said that, that seems to be way more. You know,
obviously in reasonable that people would be more freaked out
devastations like on the on the west coast, not Alaska.
Forget Alaska for a second. Let's go like, you know, say,
from like Oregon down south through the California coast. Right.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Well, from what I heard, some parts of northern California,
specifically a place called Crescent City where they have a
bay because a lot of it is surrounded by cliffs
and that acts like a natural barrier. The waves they
were saying could be about five feet higher than normal,
five feet above time, and that those were kind of
rushing through the bay even as far away as California,
(13:31):
northern California, so some of them are about five feet taller.
Speaker 4 (13:34):
But out of all the places, there's just like one
little bay in northern California, not.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Just the one. You have San Francisco Bay as an
example as an example.
Speaker 4 (13:43):
This is like, right, far's so funny because I just
looked up northern California waves and Crescent City is the
only one they mentioned.
Speaker 5 (13:49):
That's the one they've been talking about a lot. And
apparently at the California Oregon borders they're saying some big
waves there as well. And I thought the same thing
wouldy that we're talking thousands of miles away, but apparently
it is. It can be affecting those the size of
the waves there.
Speaker 2 (14:03):
Yes, sure, but I'm wondering about how much is it
something that people should be quote concerned about. Is a
concerning level or.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
You need to find higher ground.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
It's like movie highways, but definitely if you have property
on edge.
Speaker 4 (14:17):
Yeah, and don't go in the water.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
This reporter for well, it's funny you say that, Sammy,
because this reporter from k h O N TV and
Honolulu was in Waikiki and surprised to find that people
staying in the higher floors of the hotels we're having parties.
Speaker 9 (14:31):
It's kind of wild to see all these people here.
I can tell you at the hotels. There are lots
of people on their balconies checking out what is supposed
to come. But yeah, everyone's just kind of anxiously awaiting
to see what's gonna come. And you can see, I
think you can hear a lot of people yelling in
the background already on stock, lots of people front row
(14:54):
seats here to see to watch, anxiously awaiting the tsunami.
Speaker 2 (15:00):
And yeah, that's kind of it. Oh my god, world's
worst reporter.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
I mean, yeah, that was terrible. But I mean, what
else are they gonna do. They can't party on the beach,
so they're gonna party up up on the top.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
But did you see that? They also showed people who
were walking directly up to the water and on the
boat ramps, even though there was like all these warnings,
you know, to evacuate the beaches. People they lock down.
Speaker 4 (15:26):
That's self selecting. They gotta go.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Yeah. The biggest news I saw out of Hawaii was
all about Oprah. Oh yeah, you see that. My whole
feed was all Oprah. Like Oprah is not letting people
use her. There's like a shortcut that people could have taken.
They get the higher ground that cuts through her. Property.
It's a road that's on her property, and there's a
whole thing. Yeah, so we'll have more information as we
get into like news headlines. But as that is certainly
(15:47):
the big one. Yeah, that's certainly the big one this morning.
Speaker 5 (15:51):
One of the biggest quakes in the history.
Speaker 2 (15:53):
Of Yeah, we got the crossroads coming up for you
this So unfortunately, Lee, and as you've heard, you know,
we get a lot of feedback and people always have
something to say. I mean, we we've got a lot
of people that were hit us up about this Spotify thing.
That's something more recent, but people complain about the dumbest things.
(16:14):
And it's one thing to go, oh, hey, what happened
on Spotify? But then once we explain what happened and that,
you know, we're not trying to you know, just screw you.
And it's not the only place you can get the podcast. Also,
I mean, it's kind of nice to think that this
show is such a big deal to some people, because
every once in a while you do have that thought
of like does anybody care? You know, right, because like
(16:35):
we're sitting in the room. It's not like you like
a band that's on stage. You see all the people
in front and singing along to the songs and having
a good time like you're you're you're very much blind
in here other than you know, the text or things
that come in. But anyway, some people, some people can
be reasoned with, or some people you can address and
you can say, oh, well, hey, you know, I think
you have you misheard part of it. Took a little
(16:56):
something out of context here, and that's fine. There are
other people who come in for oh, they come in
hot oh yeah, as if you know, they are demanding
change or demanding apology, demanding jobs be taken from people
of course because of some innocuous thing or joke or
whatever they heard on the show. That's where we get
all the things for the Crossroads. So people either hit
(17:16):
us up on one of the social media channels or
a lot of the times it's mostly email because people
they'll think something out they'll have this whole big argument
because it's to be taken seriously. Back in the day,
it would have been a letter. It would have been
a strongly worded letter that would have been sent through
the mail.
Speaker 1 (17:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (17:32):
And then the other ones, which are my favorite, are
the ones that people go on the website, the radio
station website and says contact us, and they send their
thoughts there thinking that it's going right to management. But
we're all copied on the same thing because most of
the time it's like, oh, can you mention this event
that we're having, or how do I get in touch
with Menace about you know, the pet insurance he was
talking about, or can I make a request like dumb
(17:54):
stuff like that. So it does go to everybody which
we see and we include in a round of the
crossroads because it's just healthier for everybody. It's a bad relationship. Yeah,
this goes for any relationship you have, be it professional
or personal.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Got to amputape.
Speaker 2 (18:07):
You got to know some people are investments, some people
are bills. These are the bills, and we're cutting them out.
We're essentially firing listeners telling them, you know, it's best
we go our own way because we're not responding, you know,
in a kind of change way to what you're talking
about here.
Speaker 5 (18:24):
I just saw a video of modern day philosopher Marilyn
Manson Yes saying saying your value is based on how
much people love you and how much people hate you.
And I thought, Maryland, that's kind of a good point, MARYL.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Mayor and I have a clip. I know we've mentioned
it before. I'm not sure we actually played the clip itself,
now that I think about it, I know that we've
talked about it, but I'm not sure if we actually
we had actually played it. Rick Rubin has a book
and he's talking about like his creative process. Rick Rubin
legendary music producer. I mean, PC boy, it's jay Z.
I look up Rick Rubin everything. He has done something
(19:04):
that you know and love when it comes to music,
and it's it's interesting because this it's a lot of
my thought press. So when it comes to the show,
because you can't worry about what the audience is going
to like or not like or whatever. You got to
do something that you think is interesting or fun or
funny or whatever it is, and then hope that you
(19:28):
can get enough people on board with that. But if
you're if you're chasing ghosts, you're going to drive yourself
nuts number one, and you're setting your I think you're
setting yourself up for failure.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
Yeah, it feels hollow.
Speaker 2 (19:40):
Yeah, let me play the clip and you'll understand more
what I'm saying here. Do you ever face the inner
critic of well, what if other people don't like this?
Speaker 10 (19:48):
No, I don't consider them at all. Really, Yeah, Hey,
something I say in the book is that the audience
comes last, and I believe that I'm not making it
for them. I'm making it for me. And it turns
out that when you make something truly for yourself, you're
doing the best thing you possibly can for the audience.
So much of why, if you go to the movie,
(20:10):
so many big movies just not good, it's because they're
they're not being made by a person who cares about it.
They're being made by people who're trying to make something
that they think someone else is going to like. And
that's not how art works. Art doesn't. That's something else.
That's not art. That's a commerce.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
First of all, sorry about the music. I meant to
strip that out. Number nine, Number two not art. What
we're doing is not.
Speaker 4 (20:36):
I don't think I can argue with that.
Speaker 2 (20:37):
Well, you never wait to hear what people complain about
in there. Not art. But the idea is like, you
can't because you're not going to please everybody, and that's
what you're out to strive to do, and so you
have to try to find a I hate to use
it a community, you know, a coalition of like minded
people and hopefully they like or find interesting what you
(21:01):
find interesting or like. Or you can make it so
that it is something that you are interested in that
you can at least share with people from like a
show and tell kind of perspective, and you'll have enough
people right exactly exactly, and then you can you can
be successful in that way. But if you're sitting here
just you know, that's where pandering comes in. And that's
(21:21):
where that's where things get lost and ruined as far
as I'm concerned, that's where. That's where authenticity lives. When
you're doing something for you or you know, not just
because you think that's what people want to hear.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
When you find people who value that, you got a
great group.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
Yeah, so uh so that's that's that's where And when yeah,
and when people say different things to us about hey man,
like I forget what it was, oh yesterday, Like somebody's like,
oh man, Gina's husband who cares? I Like, well, look,
we are the only ones who are required to be
here at any point in time. You have a ripcord.
It's a button right on your device or on your
(22:00):
your car or whatever. It's magic, dude, you can leave
any time. I don't want you to. And that's the
thing I don't want you to. But if you get
into that situation, you have that ability, you can you
can do that.
Speaker 4 (22:11):
Yeah, and my husband be the first to agree with you, like, yeah, Andy,
who cares?
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Right?
Speaker 4 (22:16):
It was probably from him.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
Yeah, I mean we all feel the same way. But
writing all right, So what are people complaining about this
go around? We're going to find out what do you show? Crossroads?
This is the show.
Speaker 7 (22:35):
Now.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
I know we rip on customer service in different industries
and and things. I mean, we're not much better, if
we're being honest, we're not much better. Not the greatest, No,
because and there there's I could I could play a
Cliffree letter. I want to get to the to the
emails and stuff. But yeah, we do the show for
(22:55):
the people who enjoy the show, right, and we're not
We're not necessarily sitting here thinking about all the little
people and every little tiny complan that comes in because
you never get anywhere. You just be busy putting out
little fires here and then trying to bend over backwards
to please everybody. You can't do that that would be insanity.
You can't please all the people all the time, which
is why we end up here at the crossroad. Dammit,
(23:18):
some people just can't be helped and we have to
let them go. We're essentially firing them. Yeah and so
and so. What happens, you know, we get people that
(23:38):
send us an email or something on one one of
the social media pages. My favorite again are the ones
that come into the radio station email, like the general mailbox.
Like if you go on the radio station websites as
contact us and uh, they're trying to get ahold of
management to uh to narcas out or they think that,
but it goes to everybody gets a copy. Anybody who's
in programming or whatever, we all get a copy. And
(23:59):
that's where all a lot of these come from. Also
the show email email at woodieshow dot com and so
people complain about every little thing, as you know, because
you're you're a person on this planet, you're the wake
and you see how people are. Like this first one,
this was sent to the Woody Show email. This is
from Gauge subject the boot Licker Show. I know they
(24:20):
always ask if the want to reply, they say no,
which usually may do. But no, I just want you
to know this. Yeah, Dear Woody Show, or should I
say the iHeart Corporate Puppets. You really pulled the podcast
off Spotify? Why because you want to force us to
use the iHeartRadio app. What a greedy slap in the
face to your longtime supporters. I've been a loyal listener
(24:43):
for years. I don't catch the live show because I'm
not up that early and I have a life that Yeah,
and that's exactly why podcasts exist. But now, instead of
respecting your audience, you went with corporate boot licking. The
general public might be, but I am not. I know
what this is. I will not be downloading the iHeartRadio app.
(25:05):
I don't care how many times you advertise for it.
I don't want it. I never asked for it, and
I won't give into being strong armed into a platform
that I didn't choose. You telling, buddy, And now, even
if you do put the podcast back on Spotify, you
have lost me completely. You've shown your true colors, your
wishes of your employer are more important than your audience,
(25:27):
and saying the whole thing is short sighted, alienating, and
downright insulting to the people who built your success and
trust me, I'm not the only one. You're losing listeners
by the millions over this, Jehu, you traded loyalty for
corporate synergy. Congrats to you all. Enjoy your bonus. That's
(25:50):
from us from Gage Last Gage, We rule.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
I love the con theory.
Speaker 2 (25:57):
Oh yeah, we lost Gage you guys times do we
have to explain this? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (26:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (26:07):
The iHeart Radio app features playlist podcast, live radio stations,
and stations based around your favorite artists.
Speaker 2 (26:12):
There's no reason not to download Buddy, Yes, and it's
totally for free. We're not the ones that just definitely
in just in case anybody had missed any of these before. Yes,
they would to show podcast is not on Spotify renowns
because Spotify took us off of there, because they don't
like the little songs that play in and out of
commercial breaks, and we again trying to identify with them
(26:33):
which song to have issue with, and because it's like
an automated customer service back and forth, we can't get
answers to our specific questions. Therefore, we are at a
crossroads with them, and we're not bending over backwards because
we don't know what they want. Yeah, my last email
to Spotify. Was am I even talking to a real person?
They have not gone back to me yet, So there's
(26:54):
your answer. Yeah, Yeah, We're on all the platforms other
than Spotify. Yes, the iHeart Ready to app is certainly
one of them, but it's one of them. It's not
the only one, all right, next one, I say, the
best one, but next one. This is one of those
station feedback deals. This is from Micah subject homophobia on
(27:14):
the airwaves. No no, I requested, Yes, good morning. I'm
emailing to follow a complaint against The Woody Show due
to extremely disrespectful content on their broadcast this morning around
eight thirty in the morning. The Woody Show has decided
to do a pride skit called gay Walking with Sea Bass,
where one of the hosts goes around and talks to
gay people and asks them questions. The questions on this
(27:37):
morning's broadcast included name three professional football players, name three
brands of dip tobacco. All the questions from their admitted
theme of all of the things straight guys know. This
is my first issue. Making fun of gay people and
quote quizzing them on their manliness is disrespectful, inappropriate, and
encourages the spread of homophobia. You were so scared when
(27:59):
you were talking about them too. I'm afraid choosing to
do this during Pride Month, as you know, okay, making
fun of gay people extra slap in the face to
the lgbt Q plus community. Continuing their broadcast, the third
interview question was about women. Quote what's the best way
to get a woman to shut up when I ask you?
(28:20):
The queer interviewee responded by saying, quote, that's so misogynistic
and rude. I prefer not to answer that, to which
the hosts of the Woodie Show responded, shut up, pussy.
Uh not what I said? I said, I agreed, it's
a feminist. I was incredibly disappointed, and I'm disgusted with
the hosts for abusing their privilege of having a public
forum to spread messages of homophobias. I will not stand
by knowing this kind of content is being spread across
(28:43):
the radio in my community. Do better, do better, and
make them pay for their mistake. That is that is
from Micah. We've lost Michael Micah.
Speaker 4 (28:58):
And again, you only care about the group that you
care about.
Speaker 2 (29:05):
Yea, Yeah, that's where they drew the line. All right,
Let's see here, what do you show crossroads? Let's see
we got one here. This is a station feedback again.
This is from Kirsten. Oh. The subject on this one
is do better all right now? I also like the
(29:29):
little twist he at the beginning of this one to
whom it should concern.
Speaker 5 (29:32):
That's pretty good, Kirsten redeemed yourself.
Speaker 2 (29:40):
I was listening to the morning show and was so
beyond defended by a comment that I heard the main
guy would he make? I've never in my life been
so deeply hurt by a comment made by a total stranger,
and this is the only thing I can think to
do about it ever. Ever, what he shared his unsolicited
all caps opinion that drummers and bands are interchangeable and
(30:03):
not what quote make the band what it is that.
I don't think he was kidding or said it to
be funny either. Do you even realize how dismissive and
disrespectful that sounded? The message was loud and clear that
people like my father, who was a lifelong studio musician,
and others like him who dedicate their lives to this
craft apparently don't matter. They're replaceable. Well, not only are
(30:28):
you wrong, you're a jerk? Oh, No, drummers aren't just
some accessory behind the guitar players and frontmen. While I'm
nowhere near the level of my father, I've been playing
since I was a kid. I've poured years into practice.
I've toured in vans, slept on floors, played shows to
three people and to three hundred. I'm also a woman
(30:50):
nice who has had to put up with men who
don't think I belong behind a kit. All that to
say that I and many others do it because we
love it. Drummers matter, Rhythm matters. We are the heartbeat
of a band. Your opinion sucks. Keep it to yourself. Man, Yeah, dude,
(31:12):
you probably like electric music and rap. Lots of people do,
but machines and laptops can't replace human energy, soul and feel.
Maybe that's the world you live in, pre programmed, quantitized, lifeless.
But as radio DJs, your job is to support music
and the people who make it. Without us, you're nothing.
We have a talk show. I expected better, but shame
(31:35):
on me. Your show is just trash. Disappointed. That's signed Kirsten.
We've lost Kirsten everything. He sure.
Speaker 11 (31:49):
By again support Spinal Tap made this show forty years ago.
Speaker 2 (31:59):
Do you think they got this crown? Probably probably not.
There's a new spinal tap in my Yes, okay, you
said the spinal tap is immediate. I was like, oh, yeah,
but they have. I saw like Elton John was like
dressed up one of the cares. They just did something
the other day. I was like, some cameos. I believe.
All right, one more Woody Show Crossroads email. Let's see. Uh,
(32:23):
let's go with this one. Here another station feedback since
the radio station. This is from Melissa Subject morning show
Woody program. Okay, replied, requested, Yes, what was I just
listening to? I heard a female caller on the air, Shelby.
She answered a series of very random and inappropriate questions,
(32:44):
and then the hosts of the show all voted and
then explained why they voted the way they did. Vote
on what you ask on if Shelby was skinny or fat? Yeah,
shook me to my cored. No, I can't remember the
last time I was this angry. But hold on, it
gets worse. Then they opened an envelope containing a photo
(33:07):
of Shelby and they all cheered, exclaiming, in delight, she
is fat. Some of them are right? Are you? Are
we aware? Of what year this is? We're really going
to body shame people on a radio station. I expect
(33:27):
a response with a detailed explanation of who allowed this
and why is this really what you think the people
in our community want to listen to as they get
ready for work in school. And before you start guessing
if I'm fat or not, I'll save you the time.
Speaker 5 (33:42):
I am not.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
But if I a thin, healthy person, is this upset?
I can only imagine how much worse it is for
people of size. If you're thin, you're probably just ugly.
Then I am so disgusted. I honestly felt like it
was nineteen eighty five listener to this garbage, Oh nostalgia.
(34:07):
I expected this feedback is taken seriously and tabled for
discussion at a senior level. Indeed, that is from Melissa.
We have lost a listening Oh no that yeah right, yeah,
honest question, what do you How do you decrive something
that's overweight other than people of suz of in a
(34:30):
nice way where you don't take it as you're shaming?
Uh no, see thick also something phoned?
Speaker 12 (34:38):
Man?
Speaker 2 (34:39):
You take that wrong? Large hellby in charge? Yeah, whale curvacious,
Well I can tell you who's lost some weight. We've
lost some weight, Yes, yes, we've We've unloaded the dead
weight of people who are just hanging on and listening.
Not healthy for their mental health, not good for us either.
We are moving forward, crossroads everybody. Yeah, and you think
(35:00):
we don't read your emails, Oh we do. We're gonna
take a quick break. We've got some more on the
show coming up for your next hang on, Morgan, are
you ready?
Speaker 4 (35:11):
Oh my god, I was born for the smelling right here.
Y'all don't know this. I'm suting, I'm hallucinating.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
I'm heavy breathing. Oh woy woy show it'll fallow up
to the crossroads. Off the text oh to two two
nine eight seven six' FIVE o, saying, man all those
cross rows just a reminder Against woodi's best put forward
argument in regards to doing A Guess who's? Gas not
(35:40):
one complain ABOUT i can't BELIEVE i heard farting on the.
Radio we're children in the, car so worry, Not. Woody
people won't complain about guess who's? Got oh they, do they?
Do we do we we we do get those. Again
we're doing what we're. Doing we're doing the show that
we think is fun and we hope that there's enough.
People it turns out over what at least a couple
of decades now that it's it's worked. Out, OKAY i
(36:02):
think we're all we're all doing, okay. FINE i love
The crossroads. Segment it's like a highlight of the best
moments of the. Show two on, That, yeah you get
a little reminder of some of the things. Exactly. YEAH
i just like hearing how people misconstrue. Stuff, yeah, oh
halfway here things, yep nine one. THREE i might be
With Sea bass on this. One BUT i love that
email how it said their morning show at around eight
(36:22):
thirty in the. Morning, yes morning shows air in the.
Morning people say that a lot five am in the. Morning,
yeah oh really five six. Two it's not that. SERIOUS i,
MEAN i miss the show On, spotify AND i definitely
won't listen to it on The iHeart ready, app BUT
i will try to catch the entire show. Live writing
an email to complain just a bit over the, top,
(36:44):
YEAH i, mean, yeah f that guy who can't open your.
WEBSITE i lost you guys On, spotify but within MINUTES
i found. You well, sweat.
Speaker 3 (36:55):
SO i have gone through LinkedIn and try to reach
out to like Some spotify work. Directly and if you,
know if listeners care that much about Their, SPOTIFY i
suggest they do the.
Speaker 2 (37:05):
Same and yet we don't care that, much to be
honest with, you because it is on all these other
platforms and there's plenty of ways to do. IT i
just it. Again it reminds me of THE y TWO k,
thing like what do you think people would do as
a society when the year two thousand? Hit and let's
just say for the lights did go? Off somebody getting
their truck and they go down they figure it, out,
(37:25):
yea but, yeah people just like turtles on their back
and they, go, well it's not, Here SO i don't,
know like that's. It, Yeah i'm, done and and and
how do you even engage with somebody like that's what's the? Hope?
Anyway thank you everybody who is here and who is
enjoying themselves and who are enjoying. Themselves thanks to everyone who, everyone,
(37:45):
everyone everyone, is everyone who is Enjoying thank, You, greg thank, You.
GINA i, say be enjoying. Themselves, yeah if you be enjoying,
yourself thank. You and, again just because we're not sitting.
Here you, know worrying about every little thing doesn't mean
that we don't. Care we are appreciative of the people
who do spend the time and you come to the
(38:06):
events and do all those, things and we do get.
QUIET i get. QUIET i can't speak. EVERYONE i get
quite a bit of enjoyment out Of crossroads type, emails,
comments different. Things, uh you see it on the daily
on our, NonStop like on Our instagram the ONE i.
SEE i don't See. FACEBOOK i don't look at any
of that kind of stuff or even the, YouTube BUT
i do see it like On, instagram and like like
(38:28):
it is the comments about like the dumbest. Things, yeah like, really, okay.
Speaker 5 (38:32):
COOL i made a point not to look at Our instagram,
video which which, is, well that's the seabast victim. STATEMENTS
i made a point not to.
Speaker 2 (38:40):
Read oh, really they're pretty much on your. Side, really but, yeah,
NO i mean there was this comment the other. Day it's, like,
OH i must be really getting to. You i'm, like,
Dude i'm so callous to all this thing because it's
like it's NonStop four to. Seven. Okay So gina joined
the show year. Ago it's coming up on a on
(39:02):
one official. Year, Right and there was somebody that made
it made me laugh because it was a comment somebody
made about Like gina, sucks she's a sea, word blah blah, blah,
right and and And gina replied something around like oh
aren't you, sweet you, know and like a little like
kind of like kissy emoji thing or. Whatever and the
(39:23):
person then responded to that, saying, well you just have
to understand blah blah blah blah that people you know
don't like, it which is not. True there are, people
there are people you look through comments that there are
people that Think i'm the worst part of this. Show
greg's the worst part of the, Show menace Or sammy Or,
gina who is the worst part of the. Show, like
everybody's got their, take, Right but they wrapped it up
(39:46):
With you're just gonna have to get Over And i'm
thinking it's been a year of her being.
Speaker 4 (39:52):
HERE i think it seems like.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
A thing that you need to get. Over take your own.
Advice you're so, Right, yeah it's done. It i'm.
Speaker 4 (40:00):
Done i'm over. It but Sometimes i'll look at their
profile picture and one guy said something. MEAN i looked
his picture and he had three really cute, kids AND
i wrote, back, YEAH i know you hate, me but
your kids are so. Cute and all these people were,
like oh, babe And i'm like so. Nice they just
WERE i, mean you're, not but your kids.
Speaker 2 (40:15):
Are the other interesting thing is like when somebody does
have not on you per se or just one something
in general about the Show, man they will go on
every post and comment basically the same thing because they
really want to be, seen they really want to be. Heard.
YEAH i did see a pretty funny video and it's
making fun of you, know people who go in to
complain about. Something she walks, Up this woman walks up
(40:38):
to the deli counter and she complains about something and
the person, goes, okay no problem, Here i'll you, know
we'll get you your money. Back and she, goes oh, no,
NO i want the. ARGUMENT i need you. Too she,
goes oh we're going to. Argue, yeah, YEAH i need,
That and the whole the whole point was sometimes people
just want the, fight, yeah the.
Speaker 4 (40:57):
Oxygen.
Speaker 2 (40:57):
Sometimes, yeah sometimes people just they want to complain about
something or you, know and they don't heard and, yeah
and they they don't want you to give them what they.
Want it's their. Entertainment, yeah it's just like THEY'RE i
don't they're OUTLET i, DON'T i don't. Know they're already
angry and they're looking for somewhere to place.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
It, well it Is venice's favorite. Word it's their dopamine. Spike.
Speaker 2 (41:17):
Yeah so and so whatever it is about the, show you,
know or the or a person on the show or
whatever that YOU i will take that other person's comment
and just you, know say that you should apply it
to get over.
Speaker 6 (41:27):
It.
Speaker 2 (41:28):
Yeah, yeah that. Easy, Yeah prob had a good time. Here,
yeah and we started another new hour of insensitivity trending
for a politically correct world with some of the trending
news headlines With gina Grad.
Speaker 4 (41:42):
Yeah, well a giant earthquake hit just off the coast
of Eastern russia. Yesterday it sent tsunami's tsunami warnings all
across The. Pacific the quake was about eight point eight
on The richter, scale and that was just off the
eastern you, know coast of Eastern, russia which happens to,
be by the, way the third biggest, quake this central big.
One it triggered tsunami warnings all over the. Place hawaii
(42:04):
went into a full scramble evacuation orders waves about five,
feet but the governor says everything's cool for now and
the threat's been dropped to just a tsunami. Advisory alaska
and The West coast also had some, waves but so
far really no. Damage but there is one person catching
some heat having to do a little damage control with
the tsunami. Evacuations and That's.
Speaker 2 (42:24):
Oprah, yeah oh non about?
Speaker 4 (42:27):
That oh, Yeah, well she owns a big chunk of
land On, maui and on that land is this private
access road that leads to higher, ground which is obviously
where everyone was trying to, go but they all had
to go around her, property which happens to be a
one way route that's thirty miles, long forty five minute,
drive instead of just taking the shortcut through her, property
which is ten. Minutes videos On twitter x show local
(42:49):
cops blocking people from trying to use that, road forcing
people go.
Speaker 2 (42:53):
Around you'll see. It you'll see it online if you
look it. Up i'm gonna show people here in the room.
Though all, Right so here's where people were right and
here's where they're trying to get. To that blue line
That i'm showing here represents the road yet straight shots
about it's about ten minutes now With oprah keeping that road,
closed here's the go around the red. Boy so that's
(43:16):
why people were, like, hey we could take this, little,
tiny little ten minute. Jaunt. Yeah, yeah but now you
are disputing, it, Right, well she, well.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
She did eventually allow people to. Access here's my theory
because you, KNOW i didn't do a deep dive on,
this but, Like i'm sure she wasn't there like stopping,
right you, know she's doing her thing wherever else and the.
Speaker 2 (43:39):
Roads i'm sure the rule is, like, hey this is
a private access, right nobody's supposed to be, here and
so they have people who ARE i don't, know guarding
the property or the security guards or whatever they, are
and until they're told, otherwise they're not going to let people.
Speaker 4 (43:52):
Go and then she gets the, call well over the,
road For god's, sake you, know that's that's.
Speaker 2 (43:55):
What it's a lot of. Land, Yeah chuckerberg just bought
like another thousand acres and oh.
Speaker 4 (44:00):
Good BECAUSE i was worried about him having enough space to.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
LIVE i, mean the phone rang in An oprah pulled
her face from Between gail's thighs on this better be important.
Speaker 3 (44:11):
Going back To russia. Though, russia their coastline is flooded like. Crazy,
literally it's a ton of video coming out.
Speaker 5 (44:18):
Now it's.
Speaker 4 (44:19):
Insane, yeah check that.
Speaker 2 (44:21):
Out hard to get people to be sympathetic To, russia these, Tastes,
yeah not everyone's first go to kill we and The
oprah worship for once and for. ALL i think it's
kind of, over do. You, yeah feels disciples like youngins.
Speaker 4 (44:36):
Today don't really even know.
Speaker 2 (44:37):
Who she, is no. Idea my kids have no idea
who she. Is she came up, recently go Who Oprah, Winfrey.
Oprah they have no. Idea crazy and they're sixteen and.
Thirteen no.
Speaker 4 (44:49):
Idea we've got more details on That doude who was
shot and killed four people In manhattan On. Monday one
of the victims was an off DUTY nypd copy was working.
Security he had two sons up pregnant. Wife another victim
was a young woman just starting out in real. Estate
she just Finished. Cornell the third was a woman working At,
blackstone which is an investment. Firm she had a husband
(45:10):
and two. Kids and the fourth victim was the lobby security,
guard a father of. Two wait a, minute, yeah we've.
Speaker 2 (45:16):
Got more details on the total douche who shot those.
People then he went into victim, stuff what about?
Speaker 4 (45:21):
Him, oh, sorry you're, right you'reformation that.
Speaker 2 (45:25):
Douche she shot and killed one of the. Victims word
is nothing to do with, Him, LIKE I i. AGREE
i think they're actually doing a pretty good job OF
i saw a big write up on they, did like
a really good piece on each person and who they
were in their background and what they were. Doing, like,
uh that's light focusing a lot on on the victims
(45:47):
of this. Exactly who are just to work a buddy of?
Ours and you guys Know kevin, Right like his daughter
works for THE nfl and she was supposed to transfer
to The New york office two months. Ago, Wow and
and so it's one of those things where even though
he never made it to THE nfl, offices it's just
like the fact that that's where he was, headed you.
Know and you think about when you see something like
(46:08):
man final destination kind of, stuff like you start, thinking
LIKE i was supposed to be at that place when
this earthquake, kid OR i was supposed to be on that.
Flight people talk about nine to, eleven like they were
supposed to be on that.
Speaker 4 (46:20):
FLIGHT i always THINK i was supposed to be working
in for.
Speaker 2 (46:22):
HER i was supposed to be working in that. Building
vacation and then like a week later when you get
back home something, Crazy, yeah. Vacation oh, well, okay we you,
know had The iHeart Radio Music festival one, weekend and
we were hosting these like party houses at an out
at the at the what they called The Something, village
the Daytime. Village so it was like at night is
(46:44):
The iHeart Radio Music, festival and then during the day
there was a whole other set of, performances and we
had a bunch of listeners in these party. Houses and,
uh the very next weekend is when the Big vegas
shooting happened at that. Location, yeah like when they were
one weekend. Removed, yeah and then we had like this
thing where we had to do LIKE i don't, know
(47:04):
like one of our stops that we had to be,
at and it was on the top of these party
houses in the corner of the festival like in plane. View, yes,
right it was. RIGHT i mean the whole area was
a line of. Fire BUT i had to stand there
for like an.
Speaker 13 (47:17):
Hour.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
Yeah so when we're watching all the coverage obviously of
This we're, like oh my, god because they still had
all the structures up there for that country festival. THERE
i was actually.
Speaker 8 (47:25):
THERE i was At root ninety, one AND i didn't
stay For sunday BECAUSE i had to work On, monday
and SO i was all my friends were still.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
There it was.
Speaker 2 (47:33):
Crazy so it wasn't necessarily an indictment of country Or country.
Fans it was just a gathering of, people which again
not that it's like we escaped. Death we. Didn't we had,
nothing you, know to, do you, know in other, words
like we can't claim any kind of like victim. Trauma
people like to be barnacles to tragedy and go like
(47:53):
that could have been. Meat, no but it does make
you stop and, go oh, man that's crazy because we
were just. There.
Speaker 4 (48:00):
Yeah, well well did you see THAT cnn. Anchor she's
in a little trouble after, saying for whatever, reason the
shooter was possibly, white but there was literally no evidence
or footage to back that. Up they're hulling her.
Speaker 2 (48:11):
Out they're always very quick to mention if it's a
white guy because they GET i think they get kind
of excited about getting to mention that it's a white.
Person but like if that, happens, Sure but what's interesting
is when you see other stories that are not white
people or whatever the okay rambunctious, youth but it doesn't really.
Matter he'll go out of their way to not say
anything about like, whatever you, know type of, Person, yeah
culture rights or. Whatever but, like, man they're so psyched
(48:33):
when they get to point out it's a white. Person
just imagine that being your first, Thought, yeah what skin
color were? They who cares? Exactly?
Speaker 4 (48:40):
Well Andy, byron that name is pretty popular these. Days you,
know the now FORMER ceo of that, company astronomer who
got caught with his you, KNOW hr side check At. Coldplay,
well he's thinking about filing a lawsuit Against, coldplay and
the event organizer is over the little kiss cam incident
that you, know ruined his. Life When Chris martin heard about,
it he, laughed as you. Should, ye, yeah and this
(49:01):
is going to go. Nowhere legal experts say there's no
expectation of privacy in a big public arena like a,
concert and that he would have a very rough time arguing.
Speaker 2 (49:09):
This it's just. Crazy just and we've talked about this.
Before people on top that are not necessarily the smartest people,
ever this guy is THE, ceo like you should know
like laws and you, know and are just the idea
of trying to sue the band is just stupid in
the first. Place, well a lot of people have this
idea that unless you said that you were okay with
(49:31):
being on, video but very few people even think about.
It maybe we see it more because we're in these
venues a. Lot there's signs everywhere, saying you, know the
performance is being. Recorded there are video that there's no
and you're just in general place cart and, arcs you know.
Anything it's in. Public there is no expectation of privacy
when you are in, public, Right but.
Speaker 4 (49:51):
He's probably, thinking BUT i paid for a really expensive,
suite LIKE i wasn't with the mustard. Crowd but it didn't.
Speaker 2 (49:58):
Matter that their. Fault they should have just like danced and.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
Yeah exactly made a big deal out of. It and
it's so, funny you know all the videos that have
come out of. It he should have just pretended that
he was giving her the Heimlig.
Speaker 2 (50:08):
Is Ashley madison still a? Thing he could be THE ceo.
There you got to find where you belong to lean into.
Speaker 5 (50:16):
It is that still a?
Speaker 2 (50:16):
Thing Ashley madison or is that closed? Down let me,
look BUT i think it's like.
Speaker 4 (50:23):
Thriving that was the downfall of their. MARRIAGE i didn't
know anyone actually used.
Speaker 2 (50:28):
It, yeah what about My?
Speaker 5 (50:35):
Space is that still? Up millions of people like you
are looking for a discrete. Connection, yeah he could be
THE ceo.
Speaker 3 (50:41):
There, yeah, exactly My space is still up and it's
promoting fits in the.
Speaker 2 (50:46):
Tantrum it's just a.
Speaker 4 (50:47):
Completely different thing. Now it's like a music. Website we
all still have our page because we don't know how
to get into it and delete.
Speaker 5 (50:54):
It here's another catchphrase For Ashley, madison when monogamy becomes.
Monotony ye air.
Speaker 4 (51:01):
Good, Well Delta airlines is in the news, again and
it ain't. Good the airlines being sued after A South
carolina family says one of their contractors use their child's
Lost peppa pig iPad to film explicit videos during a.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
Flight oh, yeah he was like jerking off or. Something.
Yeah and uh and because you know when you take
a picture or a video and you have it set,
up but the rook it goes to the, cloud right,
Right so all of a, sudden these videos and stuff
are showing. Up exactly of him like tugging, it and
he's got like there's like a he's got A delta.
SHOW i don't think he was like A delta, employee but.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
He was in A delta, uniform, right BUT i think
he was like a, contractor a.
Speaker 2 (51:34):
Contractor, okay so, yeah so but he's got like A
delta something on and here he is like spanking it
like money just showing up on the. iCloud, yeah photo
feed or yeah he Loves.
Speaker 4 (51:45):
Pepa, well A delta says they have zero tolerance for
this kind of being really, Yeah, southwest by the, way
let's switch gears to. Them they've officially begun selling assigned
seats for flights that start In january the Og Open sea.
Policy that's going to remain for all flights until. Then
but now you can choose not to pay and pick your.
(52:06):
Seat but that means you're going to get whatever crappy
seat they want to give, you like some random center
seat or buy the.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
Toilet, yeah there's like a discount that because they don't
call it want to Get away fair. ANYMORE i think
it's just called. Basic and with that, one you don't
get to select your. Seat it just gets assigned to
you once you get to the, airport which you know
is going to be a middle.
Speaker 4 (52:22):
Seat me the, worst and a lot of a lot
of airlines do.
Speaker 2 (52:25):
That and then the other one is not the cheapest
fair that's, it you, know not that it's the it's
the top tier. One they still have other extra leg
room and right different things that they'll offer, you but
you at least you'll get to pick your seat and
you won't be like just whatever they have once you
get to the, airport.
Speaker 4 (52:40):
Whatever's, left whatever. Scraps do you think families are finally
going to stop rolling the? Dice can we switch seats with?
Speaker 2 (52:45):
You this is because they do that on every other
airline right now they think they own the. Plane.
Speaker 4 (52:49):
Yeah, well a spokesperson For southwest, says quote assigned seating
unlocks new opportunities for, customers including the ability to select
extra leg room and remove the uncertainty of not knowing
where you're gonna.
Speaker 2 (53:00):
Sit, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 4 (53:02):
Yeah People.
Speaker 2 (53:05):
Southwest really screwed. Up and there was a big article
they did like a case study on. It is when
they got rid of the free bags. Thing oh, yeah
that was, yeah because that was their, thing open seating
and the free, bags the two free check bags. Thing
that was what. Changer, yeah and then once they became
every other. Airline now they're every other airline and there's
(53:26):
really nothing special.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
Nothing my thing with the open, SEATING i didn't care
about any of. That but the thing with the open
seating was all the pre borders they just kept. On
the roofs started getting bigger and. Bigger they're just flooding
all these pre boarders. On who you, know one.
Speaker 2 (53:43):
FAMILY i guess one person has a, cane so, everybody
the ten people that are with that one person get
on as. WELL i did see there was and it
wasn't to The dominican or, something but it was A southwest.
FLIGHT i forget where it was, going but they had
the whe wheelchair pre, borders and it looked like right
before the race starts In Mario kart WHERE i, mean
(54:04):
it's just because they're all they were doubled. Up it
was they were in two's and it went so far
down into the term the walkway of the. Terminal it
really did look the beginning like the beginning of a
race At Mario.
Speaker 4 (54:15):
Kart and let me guess they just skipped on off
once it got down the.
Speaker 2 (54:18):
Jet oh, yeah they call. Miracle they call miracle flights
because they had the wheelchair getting on the, plane but
then getting off the, plane they just got up and walked.
Speaker 14 (54:25):
Out.
Speaker 5 (54:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (54:26):
Yeah well over In, atlanta the w n b A's
valkyries And dream were winding down their game when suddenly
play was stopped after a fan threw something out of
the court and that something was a, big old green. Dildo.
Speaker 2 (54:38):
Nice, yeah.
Speaker 4 (54:41):
Then dildar must have. Been the announcers freaked out called
for whoever threw the dildo to be booted from the.
Arena THE pa announcer and the Arena warren fans of
course stopped throwing, things but since the game was almost over,
there it threw it on their way.
Speaker 2 (54:56):
Out that's, right agre, one you said. That i'm. Sorry,
yeah one of the funniest.
Speaker 4 (55:03):
Words that's what's going.
Speaker 2 (55:08):
On there was a woman that was doing like some
interview and she had a dildo on the bookshelf that
was behind. Her did you see. That that's pretty. Funny
picking the w n B. A there was another thing
WHERE i think it was just a week the woman's
wig came. Up why are you playing in a W
nba game wearing a. Wig why Boy, like, yeah athletic,
Anyway so it came off and she ran to the locker.
(55:30):
Room it was pretty. Full one of the comments like
what did she like tear her a C L, no
her wig came off and she ran out of the
arena like it was some major. Emergency, weird, yeah because
it was just so. Dumb and then SOMEBODY i guess heckled,
her made a you, know made a joker a comment
about her wig falling. Off they stopped the game down
for god knows how long because number, one the wig came,
(55:53):
off and then somebody made a comment about her wig coming,
off and they had to stop the game down to
get this person escort it. Out they were. Rejected and
this is another example by why no one's gonna take
the w N B. A, Seriously, yeah that's not.
Speaker 4 (56:07):
Great you've seen examples, online like in women's. Soccer it's
like they're playing somebody that's like wearing a hood job
and that comes off and all the girls like circle
them so they can get back, on which is very
respectful and super.
Speaker 2 (56:18):
Awesome this is not, that, No, no this is like
her weave came. Out i'm not gonna dildo got thrown
onto this.
Speaker 3 (56:26):
One i'm not gonna watch. IT i don't even really
WATCH nba, games BUT i am. Enjoying there is a
lot more.
Speaker 2 (56:31):
Fights oh, sweet there are a lot more. Fights SO
i like watching just to correct we're trying to figure
out before there are there is it would be is
a lot. More there is a lot more.
Speaker 3 (56:40):
Fights, yeah, yeah are. Cool BUT i do like watching
the clip. HIGHLIGHTS i mean there's more and more every.
Speaker 4 (56:50):
Day i'd like to.
Speaker 2 (56:51):
See it's pretty. Fun that's and Hence Shane gillis's joke
About Caitlyn Jenner. Clark Kaitlyn clark at the S he's
talking about, like, oh you, know working at the waffle
house and getting in the fights with with black. Women,
dude there's a ton of. Fights, yeah you can watch
car racing for, crashes hockey for, fights and now W
(57:12):
nba for. Fights pretty. Cool and for, now, uh who freaking? Cares,
No i'm gonna give you something, else because the who
freaking cares is literally who freaking? Cares? Uh In, colorado
(57:34):

Scam they went after Wealthy christian investors and told them
to invest in something called index COIN i n d
x coin that was gonna be good Like jesus coin or,
something a cryptocurrency blessed By god? Himself how did they get?
(57:55):
That and they told their investors that they would receive
quote abundant and blessings in, return but you, guys that never.
Happened WHY i. Know so they ended up getting a
total of about three point four million dollars from around
three hundred. Investors they use nearly half of that on home, renovations,
(58:18):
vacations and some. Shopping of, course they're facing over forty
counts of, theft, fraud and. Racketeering and when they were
asked why they did, it they, said, quote The lord
told them to do, It, Yes. Lord and what's, Interesting
and you, KNOW i love the comments. Section there are
people who are defending them because what IF i, Think

can't get the number. Right, yeah say that those charges are.
Speaker 6 (59:12):

with their money what they. Want, LIKE i don't get.
It but then, Again i'm not a religious. PERSON i
don't belong to any particular. Religion but if, that if,

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Do you pass the basket or can you put it
on like auto?

kid my my mom made us go to church Every.
Sunday and, yeah at that, point it was the little
white envelopes or people just put like raw, cash and
because cash, days it wasn't They but now it's got

Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
Yeah, really, yeah. ANYTHING i take the, bugs although it's
pretty cool WHEN i don't know how they do, it

like translucent or like, transparent, yeah where like you just
kind of see the structure of the. Bug they they
soak them in. SOMETHING i think they'll take a full you,
know dead bug carcass and then they they do something

the cat convention and she'll be doing some uh Some
bush Or bear.
Speaker 4 (01:21:33):
Ten year anniversary of Cat.
Speaker 2 (01:21:34):
Cony big, deal? Boy all? Right Uh gina's got to
you make the call thing here for. Us, yeah so
she'll tell us all about, it and then we make the,
decision because you, know we're the. Deciders.
Speaker 4 (01:21:46):
Yeah so there's this dad who you know a lot
of these popular vities where you're just kind of sitting
in your, car just sort of spitting, thoughts and he
has an apology to another father that takes a very dark,
twist AND i want to know if you guys would
do the same thing in his. Situation so the.
Speaker 2 (01:22:05):
Guy we're gonna hear, from you're deciding if we would
do the same. Thing that's the. Question what do we
do the same thing as this guy that we're gonna hear, for.
Speaker 4 (01:22:12):
Or have you some people like or have we all?
Speaker 12 (01:22:15):
Right to a seven year old girl who had to
watch me and my brothers jump her daddy after, School i'm.
SORRY i know that was probably a traumatizing experience for.
You but we kept asking you to stop bullying my,
daughter and you wouldn't. Listen we sent letters, home we
either had a meeting with you and your, parents and
you wouldn't. Listen so now you know your actions have.
Consequences and since you too young to receive those. Consequences
(01:22:35):
you had to watch your daddy take those. Consequences get some,
therapy you'll be, like.
Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
Wow so we tried to tell, You we begged you
to stop harassing and bullying my. Daughter we went to your.
Speaker 2 (01:22:46):
Parents they didn't. Care his daughter was getting. Bullied they
tried to, do you, know have somebody in. Intervened all
the regular stuff didn't. Stop daughter keeps getting, bullied and so,
he the father of the, bully daughtered bully crew daughter
went and beat up the dad of the, bully.
Speaker 4 (01:23:02):
Gets a crew and jumps the dad of the right
And i'm, sorry your dad had to receive those.
Speaker 5 (01:23:07):
Consequences so the girl doing the bullying is the one
that watched him her, dad her dad, Bully.
Speaker 4 (01:23:14):
Yes and he, said you're too young to receive these.
Consequences so your dad's gonna have to step.
Speaker 2 (01:23:18):
In i'm fine with.
Speaker 4 (01:23:21):
IT i, mean they tried the old fashioned.
Speaker 8 (01:23:23):
WAY i think it's funny that the person jumping him is,
saying get some.
Speaker 4 (01:23:27):
Therapy, yeah well she's gonna need.
Speaker 2 (01:23:30):
IT i, mean your daughter's getting, bullied beat up or,
whatever and you're a piste off, dad you step, IN i.
Understand would you do, IT i, personally WOULD i do? It,
NO i MEAN i will because you get someone to
do it in. JAIL i wouldn't do anything, physical but
Because i'm going to jail for.
Speaker 5 (01:23:46):
NOBODY i mentioned that. Before and you think to, adults
fighting is loser.
Speaker 2 (01:23:51):
Behaviors, now IF i saw my, daughter IF i was
there and it was like, ME i had a step
between and you, know defend and, yes of, course But
i'm not gonna go out and like physically fight somebody
in that. Situation but if they just.
Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
If the kid won't, stop what what links would you go?
Speaker 2 (01:24:11):
To, OH i MEAN i have a radio show so
that reaches a ton of, people and so, YEAH i.
WOULD i would make mega, uncomfortable.
Speaker 11 (01:24:23):
He.
Speaker 4 (01:24:23):
Said he they. Went you, know, BASICALLY.
Speaker 2 (01:24:27):
I must SAY i wouldn't do any quote, bullying but
it would be, physical, Right, YEAH i would draw the
line of physical and you, know the you can blame the,
parents of, course but the parents aren't the ones beating
on your. Kid it's their.
Speaker 4 (01:24:40):
Kid but they did go to the parents and the
parents were, like f.
Speaker 2 (01:24:44):
You, so LIKE i, Said i'm for. It i'm for
what he. Did, like If i'm on the, jury, YEAH
i would. NOT i think HE'S i think he's. FINE
i wouldn't convict.
Speaker 4 (01:24:53):
HIM i think the crew is.
Speaker 8 (01:24:55):
EXCESSIVE i think one on one you can go fight
the data if you want. To but how many people
did he bring with to do?
Speaker 2 (01:25:00):
This mean? Whatever you don't know how many're. Going it's
always like it's like getting food together for a. Party
there's always better to have more than not, enough not
need it.
Speaker 5 (01:25:09):
EXACTLY i do think the same assembling a crew a bit,
excessive a bit nineteen, Fifties, yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:25:16):
Exactly it's like the news.
Speaker 2 (01:25:18):
Anchorman you bring, Everybody.
Speaker 4 (01:25:21):
Yeah well you need, nails videotape it and. Stuff, True
and what if you know you couldn't beat this guy
on your, own but you got to teach him a.
Lesson you got to bring your, friends like know. Thyself
if you know you can't beat this guy on your,
own you got to bring back.
Speaker 8 (01:25:36):
Up, yeah but then you could do something like what
what he's saying and figure out a different way rather
than physically.
Speaker 2 (01:25:40):
FIGHTING i like. It parents were never involved as, Kids
like the parents were never involved in any kind of
beef that you. Have then if anything you would have
like an older sibling who might get, involved.
Speaker 3 (01:25:52):
You're teaching how to fight at, Most, yeah because you,
know back in the, day people used to have shame
and be like shaming if your parent it's got involved in, anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:26:01):
Right, yeah you'd be a little bitch you got your. Dad,
Parents just teach your kids to stand up for, themselves
as the five five, agreed and then teach them how
TO i, mean, yeah it's tough though now with the
perspective of a, parent like it, sucks like if your
kid's getting picked, on, uh certainly physically bullied or like
you you want, blood you you want you want uh
(01:26:24):
you want?
Speaker 7 (01:26:25):
Justice?
Speaker 5 (01:26:25):
Yeah what do you when you hear the term, bullying
does your mind automatically go to that kid's getting beaten
up or just Getting.
Speaker 2 (01:26:32):
YEAH i don't think. So these, days bullying is like
somebody made fun of, you, yeaody somebody goofed on. You,
now back of the, day it was like you were
getting like your lunch money stolen or you're getting thrown
in the garbage can all, physical but now there's zero
might be traumatic thinking back, It, no.
Speaker 5 (01:26:50):
Yeah LUCKILY i wasn't, that but that we had this
one guy who would like lean over When i'm in
math class or, whatever and he would take a pen
and mike marks on the back of my. SHIRT i
was one of like five kids that listened to alternative.
Speaker 2 (01:27:03):
Music that was a. Weirdo, okay so this is like
a late, eighties early. Nineties what were the you, know
on the back of like a like a button down,
shirt there'd be like that little. Loop what was that?
Called did you guys fought the same? Thing we called
it of. IT i didn't come up with the name of.
It it's just what it was. CALLED i don't know.
Speaker 5 (01:27:22):
Who came up With it was trigger, warning a word
coming at, you a fag.
Speaker 2 (01:27:28):
Tag, yeah they called it the fact and so like,
you you would like go, up who if somebody had
on the back of you go and you yank, it you,
yank you try to yank it. Off never heard of
this and you go fag? Tag, Right they did call it.
That it had nothing but by the, way at that,
point it had nothing to do with anything, gay which
is they was just what it was called and smear the.
Queer they had nothing very popular, gay but it had
(01:27:49):
nothing to do like nobody was thinking. Gay it was just,
oh you had this loop on the back of your,
shirt WHICH i don't know what the purpose of that loop.
Was it was right before it was to hang it.
Up it would sit right between the, uh the, shoulder
the shoulder.
Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
Blades, YEAH i can picture. IT i just don't know
what it's.
Speaker 2 (01:28:04):
For five six. Two what he's just saying that you can't, Fight,
no what he's been in. Fight i've been in plenty
of fights as a. KID i don't believe in fighting
physical physical like fist. Fight as an adult it's. TRASH
i did though as a, kid this, Guy i'm fine
under the. Circumstances i'm fine with this. ONE i would do.
(01:28:24):
Exception it's fine for, him AND i, go, okay. Fine.
Yeah as a, KID i was in plenty of. FIGHTS
i told YOU a couple of my best friends were
because we hated each. Other we beat the crap out
of each other and then became best. Friends immediately when
the fight was, over was, like, yeah that was. Done,
Yeah i'm not doing it as an.
Speaker 3 (01:28:39):
ADULT i looked up the history of the, loop by the,
way and the loop is because it's so you can
hang up the shirt like we, thought but a. Hook
but it's mainly it's mainly for like, lockers if you
have limited. Space they say that organs they believe is
from The. Navy so because they they couldn't hang up.
(01:29:00):
Shirts so think where they get fag? Tag probably from The.
Navy you made it just in.
Speaker 1 (01:29:07):
Time have we.
Speaker 2 (01:29:10):

markets will handle the preseason game with their own kind
maybe like the radio team or something like. That, yeah
unless they, do LIKE i mean they do a kickoff,
game but probably the four or five days beforehand of
every game throughout the, season they start, working okay to.

lot of people Like Tony, romo BUT i find him
to be, Annoying.
Speaker 3 (01:41:32):
Like, Oh, Jim, JIM i say blow things off because
it wasn't there that thing where since he's a part

a lot of the broadcasting on certain.

Things oh, yeah because he.
Speaker 2 (01:41:45):
CAN'T i think there's a couple rules where maybe he's
not allowed of tendant, practice but he still meets with
the coaches to get like the insider talks to players
to get the, insight you, know leading up to a.
GAME i think there's just certain things that he's not
allowed to, do like some a couple of specific. Things
BUT i think it's a pretty good job for a
guy who spent a lot of years just completely Hating
Tom brady just because he was so. Good he's really
(01:42:07):
what it boiled down to. MUCH i gotta, say, LIKE
