Air places said he had a bomb on boards? Came

Speaker 2 (07:37):
I believe American.
Speaker 12 (07:41):
This is the Woody Show. Insensitivity Training World Class is
now in session.
Speaker 2 (08:03):
Good morning, everybody, It's a bree Friday. It's Thursday morning.
It is September the eleventh, twenty twenty five. As as
we heard our annual airing of the nine to eleven
Tribute before we officially got started. Here for you this morning.
Thank you for being here. My name is Whaty. That
is great, gory morning. We've got Menace, there's Gina grad,
(08:26):
Sea Bass is here. We've got Sammy Morgan is here.
We are associate producer. We've got von our video producer,
Bort and Menji holding things down the Woody Show production department.
And yeah, today on the show, we got to you
make the call. Genus got something. She's gonna ask me.
The question is, who is the bitch? Are you involved
in this? I am, I'm I'm one of the choices.
(08:46):
Potentially you are the bitch. Huh okay, is it between
you and your husband? No, it's a girl. Oh, a
brunch mate, let's.
Speaker 8 (08:57):
Say, a.
Speaker 9 (08:59):
Girly.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Alright, So so you make the call situation. I think
she's expecting us just to pile onto her side. Oh
I'm expecting to get piled on. Oh really, so we'll see.
I don't know, because this is like a trick like
when Sea Bask it gives us an am I the
A hole like, we immediately want to say, let's put
this way. I don't the hedge bet was almost like
d uiq. The hedge bet would be a no. I
(09:20):
don't regret my choice. But it's it's had a lot
of blowback. Okay, okay, that's come down. I got a
brand new redneck news Hey. Uh this week in audio.
But today it's been big news this week with the
Apple announcement and all the iPhone stuff. So of course
we've been waiting because he's been in Kupertino for the
last couple of days.
Speaker 9 (09:38):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Rich Demiro Rich on Tech Tech Reporter.
Speaker 1 (09:42):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (09:42):
He has his own syndicated tech radio show talking about
consumer tech stuff, not geeky, over the top stuff that
you have to be like an MIT graduate to understand people. Yeah,
stuff that even Greg can understand, but simple. He will
be giving us the lowdown on the new Apple stuff
that is a and you can start ordering that stuff tomorrow.
I think in the pre order to start tomorrow, right menace. Yes,
(10:04):
Meda's gonna be getting his new iPhone for the first
time in the years. Very exciting.
Speaker 13 (10:07):
Also real quick big shout out. There's gonna be a
big Nintendo Direct event that's happening. Yea, and I don't
even know what they're gonna announce, but it is the
fortieth anniversary of Super Mario Brothers.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
No, I don't want my kid to hear that kind
of cool. Yeah, well, anyway, so we'll talk to Richel.
See what else is got Gadget of the week and
stuff news headlines. We've got the entertainment stuff Birthday's port
of Birthday all on the way here. On the Woody
Show over in England, a woman said that she was
unfairly dismissed from her job at a scaffolding and brickwork
(10:41):
company after she made a one off comment to her manager.
The woman found documents on the boss's desk suggesting that
she was about to be fired. The woman then went
off on her boss and his wife, I guess she
worked for the company too, why, and said that she
had only stated that job as long as she did
because the two of you dickheads quote unquote. Now the
(11:04):
boss didn't like that, of course, told her she was
fired and to pack up her stuff and f off.
Speaker 8 (11:09):
Well.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
After everything cooled off, the woman turned around and sued
her old job for unfair dismissal, and a tribunal sided
with her again to England. So the tribunal said that
while such insults are inappropriate and regrettable, they don't amount
to gross misconduct, especially since she was given no prior
(11:31):
warnings for language beforehand. I mean, you do work at
a brickwork and scaffolding company. I'm sure because of you
two dickheads, it doesn't really hit the threshold of the
worst things. They are mentioned or talked about around the office. Now,
her old job was ordered to pay her twenty thousand
I'm sorry, twenty nine thousand English pounds for compensation and
(11:52):
legal fees. What does that work out to in Americans?
I think it's a little bit higher than pounds, right,
that's the almost thirty dollars thank you, Yeah, for compensation
and legal fees. But maybe that's quid good news. Calling
your boss a dickhead not enough to be fine? Well, like, yeah,
(12:15):
proper not proper British would be knobhead. That's there, that's
what they use. Okay, Well, wouldn't it be proper British?
B c Oh, they like to call people c's yea
the sea word. But yeah, that's not that's not the
same as dickhead. Okay, right, knob head, and I guess
would be the direct translation. See when we talked to
Rich later for you Rich on Tech, maybe you know
(12:35):
that's how it would translate the new Apple AirPods. Yeah,
the real the real time translations to English. Yeah, I mean, dude,
I've worked for some mean people, right, Like when you
when you look at it like and and you go
and you look back on it, especially how things are
treated now. But in the time, that's just how it was.
People would not survive. They wouldn't. It was we're talking
(12:55):
about like the late or mid to late nineties.
Speaker 14 (12:58):
Man.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Everybody I worked for was what you would call a tyrant, yelling, screaming,
throwing stuff at you yep, faces red, Oh yeah, screaming.
Oh yeah. There was one time there's one guy's one
program director. I told the story before this poor guy
came in. There was a problem with the ratings software
from Arbitron at the time was the ratings company, and
they always had problems with, you know, downloading the new
(13:19):
ratings numbers and stuff. And he was so impatient for
these ratings numbers. He called him in and goes, hey, Steve,
I'm really sorry. But and he got pulled into the
office by his shirt pushed up against the door, and
the program director had a pan under his neck. He goes,
I don't care, you give me those numbers right acting now.
He's like okay, okay, and he and it was just
like and nobody batter than I because it's a movie. Yeah,
(13:42):
it was this program director. What's that under the giants?
Speaker 12 (13:45):
No?
Speaker 2 (13:45):
No, no, no, he wasn't. He kicked the crap out
of him. You say that, but like nobody at that time,
like it just nobody, nobody.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
That was the way it was.
Speaker 2 (13:53):
Like I said, nobody tat twice about it. But I
just remember, like you'd be in there and you know,
you'd have to do these uh these with the program
director to the station if you were a DJ on
the air, Yeah, and you would listen to all the
all the times that you would talk like on the radio,
and you know, and they would go over every little
thing that you said and just pick it apart and
(14:14):
call you you have no future, you suck. Oh dude,
I mean they would just tear you up. In the
infected one station, he had a whole list of things
that he didn't want to hear you say like at
the top of the hour, or don't say coming up,
don't say all these little things, these kind of cliche things,
and if you did, you get fined a dollar and
(14:37):
he put all the Yeah, he put all the dollars
into like a like a you know, like a jackpot
kind of thing. And then you know, at the end
of the month, whichever DJ on the station had the
fewest violations, they won the money and they would get
awarded at the big meeting that we'd have with all
the DJs. And I kind of like that, Yeah, I
(14:58):
never won.
Speaker 13 (15:00):
We've talked about the reality of it is if they
were good at it, they would do it, yeah, because
they would more Yeah, they'll make more money.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
Now, looking back at it, I think of all the
people that I've worked for, I learned more from the
mean people. I became better because I think of the
mean people more so than I did the people who
were nice about it, because I don't know, there just
wasn't as much push or pressure because more from them
correct force you to grow. It also forced me to
(15:30):
pay more attention because you didn't want that. Yeah. So
it's almost like if you knew uh, you know, we
got spanked as kids, So like you knew, man, if
you did a certain thing and something past a certain
threshold of trouble, you were getting the belt right, and
so you tried to avoid the belt. Yeah, you're like,
I got to do everything right now. If there's no consequence,
like if you if you're not going to get yours
(15:51):
or whatever, you don't even think about it, and so
you'll just continue to do dumb stuff or continue to
make mistakes. So in the in the grand scheme of things,
even though I know people don't like to hear it,
I feel like I learned more and I became better,
if you want to call this better. I became better
because of those mean quote unquote mean people.
Speaker 15 (16:06):
As long as those bosses were right, you know, when
they're just like directionless losers.
Speaker 2 (16:11):
Right, yeah, yeah, exactly. A new study from Columbia Business
School did some research. They found that workers prefer a
boss who's on the meaner side. According to the study,
people who think that it's a doggyat dog World are
more likely to respect and in some cases admire a
manager who gets angry and yells no jeez, I just
(16:31):
smack from her face on the flip side, people who
believe in, you know, a more caring and collaborative workplace
think that aggressive leadership is a sign that you don't
know how to manage people very well. So it just
really kind of depends on your type of worldview. But
success driven people with a more hardline view were more
(16:54):
motivated by the intimidacy. That's me, more motivated by an
intimidating boss. I was more motivated intimidating both time card punchers.
They're more into the touchy feeling thing. That also I
think tracks. Yeah, well, because there's no Yeah, there's no motivations.
Don't let's wha you get quiet quitting? Yeah, that that mentality.
It's that mentality they don't want to be. You knowers
(17:15):
have never progressed the government workers. Yeah yeah, have you
ever well present company excluded Morgan, Have you worked for
a mean boss? No, I've been lucky not to work
for a mean boss. But again, I don't think I
would really mind it, because I like aggression and stuff.
I think that pushes you are super sensitive. I think
you would mind it. I think you would.
Speaker 13 (17:35):
I don't mind it as long as there's balance, you know,
it just can't be constant, because then in constant, I'll
just kind of, like you tune it out, I'll.
Speaker 2 (17:42):
Tune it out.
Speaker 15 (17:43):
Also, I think it might be Morgan and her like
disarming personality, because I think I've worked for a mean boss,
and Morgan and I.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
Worked at the same place. I think the way she's is.
I think that she has something about her that I
think is very likable. Apparently I don't. Maybe just that
he likes you, I don't know about that. I was like,
I think I know the person you're talking about. I've
seen her as nothing but nice. Yeah, she's like one
of the nicest people I know. Intimidating, but I'm not good.
But I've not worked for her. Yeah, very intimidated. She
was always like super nice to me, but she wanted
(18:13):
to bang me.
Speaker 8 (18:14):
That's what.
Speaker 2 (18:17):
She worked for. One of these old mean program directors.
Speaker 16 (18:19):
I mean, I worked for an old mean queen who
loved taking up a nineteen year old.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
Like the show killing that guy. He was just more
incompetent than angry. But he's not mean. No, no, no,
Every every quote unquote boss I've had has been pretty neutral.
Mike's just a mental terrorist. You ever worked for like
a mean, I've never had a mean program director, like
a mean boss.
Speaker 11 (18:42):
I have had a boss who loved to yell all
the time about every little thing. So I was an
environment where I was very used to being screamed at
all the time for everything.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
And that was just like the norm. And then he
was drawn out. But okay, then they ask you a question, though,
do you feel that it made you her like do
you feel like did it help your attention to detail
or did it help you It made me make sure
you were.
Speaker 8 (19:05):
More on your time.
Speaker 11 (19:07):
I feel like more panicky and on edge because you're
gonna get yelled at, and you know it, whether you
do something right or wrong, it'll end up being wrong
and you're gonna get yelled at anyways, you know.
Speaker 2 (19:15):
Because the other thing is, you know, besides paying more
attention than I maybe would have otherwise, I felt like
it kind of helped them to contribute to you know,
getting the thicker skin did end up benefiting me down
the road in the career, whether it's listeners or whoever
had because people always have something to say, as you
know that, and so if you're already kind of dealing
with that, you know, you know, you just you tough enough. Yeah,
(19:38):
you tough enough. But we always say, like, shaming needs
to be brought back. Shaming works. Look what y'all did
to me.
Speaker 8 (19:49):
Morgan.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
One of the first things we learned about her, she
was doing all this food touching, Like if people brought
in food to the radio station. She would do videos
and post them on her social media of her reaching
her hand and just touching all the food after it
was les. But yes, and then you know, other people
wouldn't be aware that she was doing it. She was
just like, oh look, oh my god, these chicken wings
look great. But she'd be like fingering all the chicken wings.
And she got so much crap for that. Yeah, yeah, crazy,
(20:11):
I think that was funny. But you don't do it anymore. No,
God has been years. I've been cleaned for like three
years now. Almost welcome back, everybody. Yeah, a pretty Friday,
Thursday morning, September the eleventh, twenty twenty five. Nine eleven,
the time, nine eleven, the number nine eleven always I
(20:34):
notice the same. Yeah, nine eleven am, nine eleven PM.
To the point where I think something bad's gonna happen
to me. That's going to be the time that I died.
That's going to be the time I gets like some
like on the top bad news. I always see him
on cars that are like black and white. Yeah, but
like then somebody tried to tell me, is that the
number eleven that's supposedly lucky or like somebody tried to
convince me that it wasn't. Yeah, but now eleven eleven,
(20:57):
because they say, then once you you acknowledge it, you
can't because you look at the clock a thousand times
throughout the day, and the other times don't stand out.
But when you do look and it is that time.
But what's weird is that I won't look at it
for two hours. I won't, like if I'm going around
like at home, I won't look at my watcher to
see what time it is. But for whatever reason, the
(21:18):
second that I went at that exact moment's nine to eleven.
That's what's weird. That is very weird. That's what's weird. Anyway, Uh,
we got the birthdays, you got the porn on birthday
coming up here in just a second. Menace is going
to tell us what's happening in the world of entertainment.
Speaker 13 (21:31):
Yeah, this headline caught my eye. I said, Jamie Lee
Curtis and husband make rare red carpet appearance for Spinal
Tap two. I had no idea there's spinal weekend because
we're just supposed to it several times.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
You close your ear, dumb.
Speaker 8 (21:50):
Well.
Speaker 2 (21:50):
Then they just had them, Jimmy Kimmell just had them on.
Oh really, yeah, they were they were never they were
doing a thing. And in fact, I think Liquid Death Right,
Liquid Death is doing like a collab for Spinal Hate,
Liquid Death Hate, Liquid Death now min wow. Now yeah,
they're doing like some special limited edition flavor or something.
Because of the Spinal Tap. There's all kinds of promotional
times menace. I don't know where you been now the
(22:11):
o G Spinal Tap I've never seen Oh, I've never
seen one frame of it.
Speaker 17 (22:14):
Yeah, I don't know if I want to because it's
probably not gonna live up to the hype.
Speaker 15 (22:19):
Super funny, but you got to remember, for the time
it was groundbreaking. It's we've since seen the borats and
all the other things. It's not gonna blow your mind
like it would have been.
Speaker 13 (22:27):
The budget for this movie is twenty two million dollars,
by the way, and it's out this weekend.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Who knew all right.
Speaker 13 (22:33):
Also, so there's a lot of breakdowns of Hulk Hogan's
will and a lot of it is gonna go to
Nick Hogan and he had.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
And that's gonna bum him out.
Speaker 13 (22:47):
He's gonna hate big, He's gonna hate that Nick Hogan's
getting all Hulk Holgan somebody because of course, you know,
his daughter said that I don't want to be in
the will. But there was something on TMC dot com
and the reporting that Nick Hogan says that he has
filed the lawsuit against radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge.
Now they the lawsuit is saying that he has no
(23:09):
right to distribute the sex tape and make money off
the sex tape.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
But now see, I thought was weird because going forward thing, Yeah,
now that Hulk's dead, it doesn't give you now right
to distribute this thing.
Speaker 13 (23:23):
Now, Bubba the Love Sponge over since day one has said,
I had no involvement in this release of this tape.
Now wife with his wife with his security cameras. But
is in the story is it was one of his workers.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
That his producer got his hands on it. Now, how
that producer got their hands on it is true? Who knows?
But yeah, so I guess he's going to try to
put it a block to that just in case. But
but did want to release it and make money. I
don't care how much, uh I hate somebody, I still
want to be part of the will. Yeah, yeah, yeah, right,
(23:59):
so you're to give it a check. Let's say you
really hate your dad, right, and he's such a prick,
but he has a lot of money and he dies,
like good news. You don't have to you don't have
to be bummed out that he's dead because you don't
get along with them anyway, and you get to take
his money. Yeah, that's what they call win win.
Speaker 13 (24:18):
Now, do you remember these two people. They were on
Good Morning America t J Holmes and Amy Rope.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
Having an affair. They were both they were both in
relationships and they were having an affair with each other
and they both because it was such a scandal, they
both got fired from Good Morning America. But they're still together.
Speaker 13 (24:34):
They're still together, still doing a podcast for iHeartRadio if
you like to check it out. But they also said
they're gonna they're gonna adopt there yet but they're not married,
so but they look they're looking to expand their family,
and I think they have kids already.
Speaker 1 (24:51):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (24:52):
Now my thing is I don't think they should have
been fired from television, Like that would have been great
ratings for Good Morning America.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah, who cares this morning? Yes, dude, that would be
tune in television. And that was like the whole I mean,
any any of these people who get like, you know
how I feel about cheaters. I'm the opposite of Sammy.
Sammy celebrates and loves cheaters. I don't. I don't like
that at all, But you know what, it's not my relationship. Therefore,
like I don't care, like if somebody on this show
(25:21):
was cheating on their spouse. Let's just say, for the
sake of argument, Gina gets busted or you know whatever, Like, okay,
is she going to be let go over that?
Speaker 8 (25:29):
Like what is that? What does that?
Speaker 2 (25:30):
What does that have to do with what happens here?
Would you guys still be my friend?
Speaker 8 (25:33):
Do I do I think?
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Do I think less of her? Probably? Yeah, you know,
but it's not my relationship. I'm not in these my
job over that. I would probably lose my marriage. People
with like Bill Clinton back in the day, they were
more upset about the behavior in the or whatever. Then
they than they were about the fact that he was
(25:54):
banging somebody who wasn't. Yeah, like, who cares about that?
Speaker 13 (25:59):
It was just exactly yeah, all right, well, Sammy, even
on maybe your future relationship.
Speaker 2 (26:05):
But somebody's getting in the mix.
Speaker 13 (26:07):
Olivia Jade, you know her, right, she's Lori Laughlin's daughter,
you know from Full House. She was too hot to
go to jail, but went to jail anyways, But her
daughter is hanging out with your buddy, Glenn Palell, and
I would like to share something with you, Sammy. You
weren't in the room, but this whole crew of people
in here were going off on how unattractive Glenn pala
(26:28):
is and how crazy.
Speaker 2 (26:29):
It was something I didn't. I didn't. I didn't see
he's so attractive. I heard that conversation going on, so
I guess something popped up on TV. But I see
what that was. It was a picture of those two
next to each other.
Speaker 17 (26:40):
And then they did a whole spread of magazine photos
that he's in now and he's just generic guy.
Speaker 15 (26:46):
Yeah, Like I would pass him on the street and
I wouldn't remember him. He's very she was very nice,
that guy.
Speaker 16 (26:51):
Seeing a binocular vision because his eyes are too close together.
Are you have death person?
Speaker 11 (26:57):
All of my friends are very into him as well
about Yeah, but I'm saying like it's not.
Speaker 13 (27:02):

Speaker 2 (30:12):
She was in Backyard Semen Fiesta Volume one. What's the
word that gets you the fiesta parts? I don't know
Semen Fiesta. It's a Seaman party.
Speaker 17 (30:22):
Yes, in the backyard.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Sarah Arabic is thirty two years old today. Anything on
her Amazon wish list you want to point out. Unfortunately,
I'm just trying to find what his boot tattoo says.
It's her. Yeah, it was kind of I saw that

at your porn a birthday, your celebrity birthdays, and that
is a pre Friday, Thursday morning. Look at what's happening
(30:45):
in the world of entertainment. You're on the Woody Show.
We'll take the break and come back more Woody Shows next.
Hang on the show. We'll be right back. My complexion
is out of a urin your urine.
Speaker 18 (30:58):
Everyone in this room means vitamin A little lower, a
little slower.
Speaker 2 (31:01):
You want to oil them down, sunning their buttholes? Wowot
chucking the sun. Wow's not pretty much all deficient. Indeed, sorry,
I'm a little cells.
Speaker 12 (31:09):
Are you down to d R not?
Speaker 2 (31:11):
Oh? You all long the Woody Show. Well, we began
another new hour, insensitivity trading, free, politically correct world. It's Thursday,
it's pre Friday. It's September the eleventh, twenty twenty five,
twenty fourth anniversary of the nine to eleven attacks, which
(31:33):
typically on this day kind of carries the news. But
the way there's just so much in the news and
between the the Charlie Kirk thing, between the Colorado school
shooting thing, and I mean just seems to be. Yeah,
it's just it's just a lot. It's it's a it's
a lot. It's it's one of those days. And you know,
the news is what it is, and we're all aware
(31:55):
of it, we do acknowledge it, but it kind of
takes a little bit of a shine off with it.
Normally a very exciting day. I love I love a
good bree Friday, I love a Thursday. But thank you
for being with us. That's not what it's all about
this morning. As you've been hearing doing a lot of
other things as well, and trying to keep it light
and fun as best we can, and we thank you
for doing that and give us some of your time
(32:16):
with us. See phones open eight seven, seven forty four.
What a text over to two to nine eight seven?
How about a couple of good stories? Alright, y nice?
So it starts bad. This guy, his name is Daniel Drew,
and he lost his home in a fire this past summer.
That sucks, and he was in the news for that.
(32:37):
But now he's in the news again because he just
won a new house. Sweet like it wasn't given to
him or wasn't it go fundme or whatever. It was
one of those things you know, where like a raffle. Yeah,
they'll do like a raffle for they'll do a charity
thing where they have a house and a bunch of
people donate services landscaping services or whatever, decorating services, furniture, whatever,
(32:58):
and it's all for the charity, and then they sell
raffle tickets to raise even more money for the charity,
and then the house is raffled off. Well amazing. This
guy entered back in June. I guess and one he's
just weak. He just got the call. Yeah, here he
is telling the story.
Speaker 7 (33:14):
Somebody said to me today, you're the most luckiest unluckiest
person I know. Back in June, my girlfriend and I
went and looked at the Big Brothers Big Sister's dream cottage.
So I bought a ticket. Never thought nothing of it.
The last day of July, I had gotten a call
at two o'clock in the morning. My son called hysterical
and the house was on fire. We lost everything. That
(33:36):
led us up to Friday that just passed. I got
a call and I looked at the phone and Myron Yates,
executive director, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, You're the winner.
Speaker 2 (33:52):
My house is gone. Now I have a house.
Speaker 17 (33:53):
Like what are the odds?
Speaker 8 (33:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (33:57):
Zero, crazy, incredible. Those raffle usually like what one hundred
bucks give or take.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
Sometimes they are like twenty, depending what it is. I
didn't know you could raffle a house. Oh oh yeah, yeah, definitely. Yeah,
there's a ton of contests like that. We should go
down to the Jersey Shore in the summer, Point Pleasant
Boardwalk and there was always I forget what it was.
It was, you know, the local veterans or something. They
would always have like a really whatever the really cool
car was that year. Yeah, they would have it sitting
(34:25):
on the boardwalk and people as they're going by they
could buy a raffle ticket to win it. And we
would sign up to, you know, win every year and
do a big thing at the end of the summer,
like Labor Day weekend, they would have the drawing somebody
would you know win that car?
Speaker 17 (34:38):
Which summer did you win? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (34:39):
I did, as well. Greg. The only thing I've ever
truly won, I won that BMX red line. It was
it was a red line BMX bike. I want it
from Hewlett's shoe store in Princeton, New Jersey. I was
a kid and as the little local paper put my
picture in the paper, local boy wins bike. Yeah, and
you didn't know then, but you know now that was
the peak of you winning, right, and then I would
(35:01):
not win anything after that. It would just be an
incredible losing straight.
Speaker 8 (35:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 17 (35:07):
It makes me better on game shows when people win
big money and they're just thank you. Oh yeah, away
for another day, just another day of winning.
Speaker 2 (35:18):
Let's see other good news stuff. This is I mean,
this is good. Starting November one, New Mexico will become
the first state in the country to offer free childcare.
Oh okay, infants and toddlers no matter your family's income. Wow,
because that's like a billion dollars. It's crazy. That means
parents won't have to worry about co payments. They could say,
more than twelve thousand dollars per child every year. It's
(35:41):
not just families who benefit, though, childcare providers also going
to see better pay and support with incentives like a
guaranteed eighteen dollars an our minimum for entry level staff,
helping address ongoing labor shortages. According to New Mexico's governor,
this program is about more than just finance.
Speaker 9 (36:00):
Relieve.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
It's a way to strengthen the economy and make sure
that every kid has a chance to thrive.
Speaker 15 (36:06):
And it reminds me of those little things you see
on like Instagram and stuff, like what you know, experimental
things people are doing. And one of them is taking
kindergarteners to like nursing homes because the people at the
nursing home love seeing the little kids, and the kids
love interacting with them.
Speaker 2 (36:20):
And yeah, there's creative ways to do it. Now, I
have a whole other thing here that we could normally
on a normal show follow up with about you know
how eighty percent of parents say the cost of raising
kids is out of control. But in an effort to
balance the news of the news of the day out,
we're trying to keep everything good. So guy wins a
house after losing his house in the fire, saving money
(36:41):
on childcare. How about this one, Let's play a what
do you show? Original trademark copyright game au Babor eye
roll Okay, so this is where I'll tell a story,
and then we got to try to guess if Greg,
the most mushy sentimental person on the show, will give
it like his will his reaction to the story be
in oh babe, nice or an eye roll? Okay, all right,
(37:05):
so the story guy in Texas had his pet pigeon.
Pigeon's name is Kevin. By the way, so pigeons pigeon
named Kevin goes missing. Now the guy the owner. He
owns an auto body shop, and uh, I guess uh.
He brings Kevin to the shop with him, and this
customer didn't realize that the pigeon Kevin's blind. By the way,
(37:26):
Kevin the pigeon blind didn't realize that Kevin was in
the back of the truck when he picked it up.
But the good news is you guys, some officers tracked
down the truck and Kevin the pigeon was still in
the truck, and they returned him to his owner. Here's
a little bit of audio from the officers.
Speaker 8 (37:43):
I'm about to.
Speaker 9 (37:44):
Tell you the weirdest thing you've probably ever heard in
your life.
Speaker 8 (37:46):
Okay, so did you just get your truck inspected?
Speaker 4 (37:49):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (37:49):
Okay, so that guy has a pet pigeon and it's
in the back of your truck. Oh yeah, he's back here. Pigeons,
but this one came out blind, I mean, taking her
of irolan for like two years away, so it's like
it's like a child. Thank you guys so much. Man's yeah,
(38:13):
all right, so.
Speaker 2 (38:14):
I know my answer. Pet pigeon missing and now reunited
with his owner Kevin the blind pigeon.
Speaker 9 (38:22):
Huh.
Speaker 2 (38:23):
I mean, that's really cool that I got his pigeon back.
All right, let you know, aw baber eyeroll. Oh can
I answer? Sure the second I didn't even have to
hear the rest of the story. Once you said pigeon,
it's gonna be iye roll from iyrol. He doesn't care
about pigeons.
Speaker 15 (38:36):
I agree, although at the very end when he's like
it was like my child, I think that could sway it.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
But I'm going iroll. See, I think that's what ruined it. Yeah,
oh really, you're you're you're considering you're talking about a
pigeon like it's a child. I think that would get
more of an eye roll from Greg, although, like you know,
other pets, he would totally I mean, like his dog
he feels that way, but like a pigeon, I'm kind
of with this. It's kind of split between that and
what said, I'll go eye roll.
Speaker 11 (39:01):
I'm also going irol because he referenced to pigeon as
his child.
Speaker 2 (39:05):
Okay, Greg Gory, is it an a babe or an
eye roll?
Speaker 17 (39:09):
It's like you've never met me? This is nuclear aw babe. Yeah.
Do I like pigeons?
Speaker 2 (39:15):
No?
Speaker 17 (39:15):
Okay, do I like a lot of birds?
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Not really.
Speaker 17 (39:19):
I had a parakeet and I loved my parakeets so much.
His name was Peter, by the way, and I'm not
a fan of pigeons. But it's blind and needs somebody
to take care of it. What chances did this pigeon
have out in the world.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
Zero?
Speaker 17 (39:32):
Not many, let's just say zero. And then here comes
this guy to take care of it as a child
and then get reunited with it. There's nothing sweeter that
is awe babe, steroids. I'm not as sweet af.
Speaker 2 (39:48):
So congratulations to Kevin the blind pigeon and his owner.
So good. Let's see, do I have another good story?
I do one more? Okay, all right, okay, so different
other people you know, anybody who they have kids and
they're like, all right, we're gonna have one more kid.
(40:08):
I want to get my my girl. I want to
get my yea, I've heard of it. And then they
get pregnant and it's like it's another boy, all right,
So one more kid got to get that girl, all right,
one more kid got to get that girl. And next
thing you know, they got a dozen kids or something
like that. Anyway, this is crazy only because how long
this has gone on. A family in Texas celebrating the
(40:29):
first baby girl in the family in over a century.
Speaker 12 (40:34):
WHOA.
Speaker 2 (40:35):
This guy's a firefighter. Michael Sherman is his name. He
and his wife Jakia, they just found out they're having
a daughter.
Speaker 8 (40:42):
Now.
Speaker 2 (40:42):
Michael's side has only had boys for one hundred and
eight years.
Speaker 17 (40:48):
That's crazy strange.
Speaker 2 (40:50):
The only kids being born on Michael's side of the
family boys. That not one girl. You got to study here,
which is Greg because Greg said if he ever, let's
say he created a baby and found out that it
was going to be a girl, he would immediately put
it up for adoption.
Speaker 17 (41:06):
I would have to find somebody who wanted a girl.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
That's what Greg's been saying for years.
Speaker 17 (41:10):
I mean, that is just the truth.
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Now for people who hadn't heard that, do you want
to explain again?
Speaker 9 (41:13):
Why?
Speaker 2 (41:13):
Just quickly?
Speaker 17 (41:14):
I just think having a son would be so much fun.
It would keep the family name alive because I'm the
last hope. Okay, it would be fun to throw the
ball around. But like, why would a girl be up
for adoption? Well, I mean would want you would want
the boy more. I have, But like quite a few
lesbian friends that want kids, and if they want a daughter, hey,
I would have one for him. Everybody wins.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
The reason would be the reasons that you wouldn't want
the girl, because you might want to boy more. But
the point where you go, you know, not only do
I not want a girl, I'm going to put it
up for adoption if I find out.
Speaker 17 (41:44):
I just cannot envision myself with a daughter. I don't
know what to say that it would be such a
good girl do with them?
Speaker 2 (41:50):
I don't know. I think you'd be good at it.
Speaker 17 (41:51):
I seem boring.
Speaker 2 (41:52):
You wantn't know how to dress it?
Speaker 9 (41:54):
Right?
Speaker 2 (41:57):
A petticoat and bloomer?
Speaker 17 (41:59):
Is there any boddy more spiteful than a teenage girl?
Speaker 9 (42:03):
Mean?
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Yeah, y, that's the thing. My daughter, man, she can
either be the sweetest thing on earth, or she could
be the biggest bitch you've ever that you've ever encountered.
I just can't relate it. I think it was Lewis
e K. This is the difference between boys and girls.
(42:25):
Like a boy will destroy your things, like they'll set
fire to stuff, and they'll break things, your TVs broken
and whatever. But they you know, they just destroy your things,
but they leave you whole as a person, whereas a
girl will destroy you. You, yeah, as who you are,
you as a person. That's so funny.
Speaker 15 (42:45):
Patton Oswold has a similar kind of take, but he's
talking about how like girls sort of mentally torture each
other over time.
Speaker 2 (42:51):
He goes, boys are all about punch and girls all
about soon exactly.
Speaker 8 (43:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (43:00):
I thought I thought I had that clip in here,
but I guess I guess I don't. All right, eight
seven seven forty four, Woodie, you can says a text
of course over to two two ninety seven. We're gonna
take a break, we'll come back. We haven't speaking of
being a bitch. Gina has a situation she wants to
ask about. So you make the call situation and you
(43:23):
said that you are I am one of the contestants.
You are the center of this yeah, And who's the bitch,
mir or somebody else?
Speaker 8 (43:29):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (43:30):
This this friend of hers. Yep, all right, so we'll
find out. You'll you'll help us make the call that's
next her in the Woody Show, hanging the Woody Show,
and Gina's got a you make the call? Who is
the bitch? Is her question? Yeah, she is at the
center of this one. Yeah, I'm one of the choices.
Speaker 15 (43:46):
So I went out to brunch brunch, of course, be
the best meal of the day with two friends not
very long ago.
Speaker 2 (43:54):
One is like super sweet and like a little naive.
Speaker 15 (43:57):
But like very nice. No one has a problem with her.
And I figured, in honor of Greg, just to give
give them, you know, a name. We would call that
one Phoebe because it's your friends. And then there's another
friend who she's been my friend for a long time,
and she's like notoriously difficult and dramatic, and I figured
we just call her Rachel.
Speaker 17 (44:15):
Rachel.
Speaker 15 (44:16):
Yeah, So we're having brunch and you know, it's bottomless
mimosas I'm not a big drinker, but everyone's a little loose,
and Rachel's telling this story about how one of her
coworkers is out to get her and she's backstabbing her
and and and it's like this big drama. Phoebe's like
and wrapped. But here's the thing. I have heard Rachel
(44:36):
tell these stories a thousand times. Somebody's always out together her.
There's always someone trying to sabotage.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
What she's doing.
Speaker 8 (44:44):
I know this.
Speaker 2 (44:45):
Phoebe doesn't. She's like, oh that bit Joe, My god,
how could they do it? And I'm just kind of
sitting there, drinking momosa, eating chicken.
Speaker 15 (44:51):
So we're sitting there, we're talking, and then finally, just
I guess to be nice, Rachel's like, so, what do
you guys think, because she doesn't really careful we think.
And I said, well, I feel like I hear these
stories a lot from you, and they all have one
thing in common, which is you. So I'm just wondering, like,
what could it be? What could the problem be that
(45:12):
you're always rubbing somebody the wrong way?
Speaker 10 (45:15):
You know?
Speaker 15 (45:15):
And I didn't think that was like an out of
lying thing to say, but she stared at me. She
didn't say anything. She kind of cocked her head like
a dog being shown a card.
Speaker 8 (45:23):
Trick.
Speaker 2 (45:25):
Phoebe gets up to go to the bathroom. Rachel lights
me up. How dare I?
Speaker 15 (45:31):
How could I make her look bad in front of
a girl she doesn't know very well? Why would I
do something like that? Do I have a problem with her?
And by the way, this is something I've been wanting
to say to her for a while, but I didn't
think it was gonna be that big of a deal.
Phoebe comes back from the bathroom, Rachel ices me out
the rest of the meal, just talks to her. Suddenly
is super curious about Phoebe in her life, when this
(45:51):
whole time she's only been talking about herself.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Oh, so what do you do?
Speaker 5 (45:55):
Oh my god, that's so great.
Speaker 15 (45:57):
Oh that's all your boyfriend's son, so sweet, and I
have nobody's talking to me.
Speaker 2 (46:02):
Fine, no problem. We get up to leave.
Speaker 15 (46:04):
Rachel walks by me, gives Phoebe a hug and says,
I would love to get your number because I'm sick
of always having to go through Gina to contact you.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
And I'm like, all right, whatever, I leave. I'm like,
that was a weird brunch whatever, but says that in
front of you. Yeah, I'm staying right there. Okay. I
get that night this is this is the and here's
the big finale. That night.
Speaker 15 (46:30):
I get a long email, an email from Rachel saying
that I quote betrayed her trust and that I'm I
went out of my way to make it sound like
she's a difficult person in front of someone she's trying
to be friends with.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
It has a betray of trust because I kind of
I guess I blew the lid off of this always happens.
This is not a one time thing. But she was
that's not trust. How's that trust? So I okay, So
two questions. I have not responded to this. It's been
like two weeks. Who's the bitch? And how should I respond?
(47:07):
I could see where you would be called a bitch,
That's what I said. I said it might be my fault. No, No,
I could see where you would be called a bitch.
But there are those people, and you have known this
person for a long time and you get to that
point where you go, all right, you know what, dude,
I can't like And it might be this is just
what it took for you to remove this person from
(47:29):
your life. Because it sounds like you've had it. Yeah,
I had it, and I think we get to that
point with certain people where we go, you know what, enough,
it's the straw that breaks the camel's back and you
have to move on. Now, the fact that it happened
in this kind of setting or whatever, people can certainly
make the argument that you were the bitch, like, all right,
we get it. Yeah, it's always you. Yeah right, yeah,
(47:49):
you pull back the curtain on this one, of course.
But does that make you wrong?
Speaker 12 (47:53):
No?
Speaker 2 (47:53):
I mean people say to me like, you weren't wrong,
you just lack tacked. Yeah so yeah, yeah, so I
can see personally, Do I think you're a bit for it?
Speaker 8 (48:04):
No?
Speaker 2 (48:04):
I don't, but I could see where Yeah, I can see.
I don't understand the betraying of the trump I have.
Speaker 15 (48:10):
I have been part of this exact conversation with her
so many times, just with a new friend and a
new story.
Speaker 2 (48:17):
But I hate those people, the people that are always
the victim, yes, always the victim, never their fault.
Speaker 17 (48:23):
This is the kind of person that always claims to
hate drama because they're the ones that have the most wrong.
Speaker 2 (48:29):
Well kind of she's she just doesn't she doesn't know
why this stuff always finds her. She enjoys it. She
enjoys recounting it. Yes, right, the conversation dominated the meal. Okay,
because otherwise what would she share. That's a great question.
That's what it took.
Speaker 15 (48:45):
It took her being mad at me to even ask
the other girl a question about herself.
Speaker 2 (48:49):
But now she gets to use this story as another Yeah, yeah, exactly, yeah,
because there was there was There was a person in
my life. It might have been a family member at
one point, and they so badly wanted to have a
story where the family not disowned but like was mad
(49:09):
or disappointed or whatever in a in a and a
choice that they had made, and nobody was everybody, in fact,
was very supportive and very cool, but they really wanted
that whole Like, well, what I told my family, they
told me to get out. They so wanted that, I see,
And so it became it became something where you know,
(49:30):
they had to find other ways to my family wouldn't
let me be the victim, right exactly. They so badly
wanted to be part of that group of people weren't
accepted by who weren't accepted by the family. Even though
everybody totally accepted I totally accepted them.
Speaker 16 (49:45):
I think maybe thirty thirty fifty percent of the population
desires to be a victim of some kind.
Speaker 17 (49:51):
I wonder, why wouldn't you want to be healthy over ill?
Would make them feel important.
Speaker 15 (49:56):
But when everyone's a victim, is everyone is anyone a victim?
If everyone's a.
Speaker 9 (50:00):
But I think it's how you learn to get attention.
Speaker 11 (50:02):
Like if someone learns to get attention like that as
a kid, like they broke their leg when they were three, and.
Speaker 2 (50:07):
Then suddenly they got all this attention.
Speaker 11 (50:09):
Well, they started learning how to get attention by being
a victim.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
Okay, here's here's what's coming in on the text. Oh, yes,
so you make the call, who is the bitch?
Speaker 17 (50:17):
Is it Gina?
Speaker 2 (50:18):
But five six two Rachel not Gina at all. Another
one says, Rachel's a bitch and bipolar. Sounds like my sister. Ooh,
I like that. She asked what you thought, so whatever,
yep o g I love this for you.
Speaker 8 (50:33):
Gina.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
You called that bitch out and she totally deserved it.
Speaker 8 (50:36):
Move on.
Speaker 2 (50:37):
She doesn't deserve your friendship. A real friend would appreciate
your honesty, even if they are hurt by it. The
reaction kind of proved your point's exactly. What's one of
my favorite quotes, Greg, The harder the truth to tell,
the truer the friend who tells it.
Speaker 8 (50:50):
That's right.
Speaker 2 (50:51):
Damn, here's one Gina, You're not the bitch. I'm a
firm believer of cutting out toxic people. Sounds like it's
time to just cut ties with Rachel, and I'm fine
with you. She was eventually going to do this to
you anyway. Now she gets to play the victim. You
are her new problem, antagonist, villain whatever. I know, the
Rachel type, and it's exhausting that that right there. Exactly.
Speaker 17 (51:12):
Do you wish to stay friends with Phoebe?
Speaker 2 (51:14):
Yeah, she didn't do it anything.
Speaker 17 (51:16):
I was Rachel trying to steal her.
Speaker 15 (51:18):
Well that maybe if she if she convinces her that
I'm evil and awful, then I guess could to them.
Speaker 2 (51:25):
Another one agree with Woody. This was Gina's breaking point.
Bitchy on both sides maybe, but it sounds like it
was a long time came.
Speaker 13 (51:32):
It was My take on it is I don't think
either we're a bitch because, uh, you know, Gino is
just saying how it was. But Rachel did believe that
she was in a friend zone with somebody that she
can vent to, and you've you know, you kept on
going back to the well and letting her do that,
(51:53):
and then out of nowhere you say this right, and
yeah you were and if you're uncomfortable with it, you
let it go on for very long.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
How did you address that with her previously? Like hawd
you said to her like, hey, can ask you a
question like why why is it always drama? Why is
it always the thing with you? About so it seems
like that. So it seemed like that's true. That's true.
Speaker 8 (52:14):
Men.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
That's a good point.
Speaker 9 (52:15):
Men.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
Yeah, So I think I just couldn't take it anymore. Yeah,
this is a type of conversation that a guy would
have very regularly. The first time, the first it would
be immediately. It's because it's a chance to ball bust,
especially get other people on the ball. This family member
I told a number of times like hey, you, I
can't with the drama, like please, like, I'm not you know,
I love you, I will always be here. You don't
care about me. I'm like, but I can't if it's
(52:36):
going to be this whole like well, you know, talking
in this kind of tone, and you know, I can't
do it. I tak like the person who said exhausting,
That's exactly that is what It's exhausting. This one, says Rachel,
sounds like a giant thunder sea. I forgot about that tournament.
It's very funny. That's amazing.
Speaker 13 (52:56):
Yeah, I was talking with a friend just recently kind
of a similar thing, or like all he did was
just complain about his job, complain about things that he
can't do, like creatively.
Speaker 2 (53:06):
Oh, I can't do this.
Speaker 13 (53:07):
They won't let me do this, they won't. I go, dude,
I'm over what you can't do, Like, tell me what
you can do. I'm just like, dude, tell me what
you can do. And I think it's time to move
on to Greg. Who's the Who's the bitch? One follow
up question? Did you at least preface it with Hey, Rachel,
(53:29):
you know I love you, But did you at least
lighten the blow?
Speaker 2 (53:32):
I didn't.
Speaker 17 (53:32):
That I think is slightly bitchy because she is your
friend and she was confiding in and it.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
Wasn't It wasn't classy. I mean like I had had
enough and that was that. And I think I was
trying to end gena friend or both both both. Greg,
I'm sorry menace. I say neither, neither both both Sea
mass friend because the email is it was ridiculous, insufferable,
because the only way to write back is just gonna
(53:58):
be an endless change of emails. I will say both,
although I am definitely leaning towards the dramatic friend just
because right and I have a biased I don't like
those kind of people either. Morgan, your vote, Oh, dramatic
friend for sure. Dramatic friends the bitch yep, So text
your vote. It'll make Gina feel better or worse. Yeah,
either way, I'm just curious two to nine eight seven.
(54:19):
It shows the level of friendship if she's not willing
to have an actual conversation and talk it out. Yeah,
that's true. Gina is not the bitch. You needed to
hear the truth, and the truth is hers to hear.
You have better friends. How hot is Gina's friend Rachel?
She and ate her above.
Speaker 8 (54:35):
The Woody Show.
Speaker 2 (54:39):
Welcome back, everybody, dude. Mike McDaniel is still gonna get
fired this year. He's the head coach of the Miami Dolphins.
He got some cool shoes, though, oh neat the best shoes.
He's such a Weirdo's so cerebral. What are you talking
to about?
Speaker 12 (54:57):
Like he was.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
He was fun for the first couple of I don't know,
first couple of months of his first season, and then
he became completely I don't know, he was just he
just wasn't interesting anymore. At that it became more about like, oh,
I wear this really cool watch, you know, with all
my other dumpy clothes, because you know, like when I
got my first it became about everything else except like,
(55:19):
you know, football, because he he tries to be the
smartest guy in the room, or he thinks he's the
smartest guy in the room. I'm not saying he's a
bad guy, just it's just a very stick The shtick
got old, right.
Speaker 16 (55:31):
Not winning doesn't tell Yeah, you know, you can do
anything you want when you're winning, But being very mediocre
doesn't help.
Speaker 2 (55:35):
Yeah, Like, people don't think he's gonna make it till
the end of the season. But going into a Sunday's
home opener against the Patriots, a gofund me was set
up by all these like pissed off fans who want
to see him fired, and the goal was to get
enough cash to fly a fire Mike McDaniel banner over
the stadium before the game, and so the goal is
to hit nine hundred bucks. Then got sixteen hundred bucks,
(55:55):
so they got the goal only nine hundred for a banner.
I might start doing that more often, Yeah, to fly
over the stadium between eleven o'clock in the morning and noon.
Speaker 16 (56:05):
So I think that's fair, But also, like, what are
you expecting to do that. Dolphins don't have the best
roster in the world. Their quarterback is obviously you know
Loopy right.
Speaker 2 (56:13):
You know? Well, Tyreek Hill is now under another investigation
that no, the NFL has opened their own investigation, and
some domestic violence allegations against Tyreek made by his estranged wife.
So who knows what's really going on there when you
get into these beefs and relationships. Yeah, I'm not willing
to say that, Oh, he definitely did it. He definitely
(56:34):
seems like a guy who'd be a hothead and could
certainly be capable of something like this. But the wife,
the estranged wife claims there were eight separate incidences where
she was physically, you know, he was aggressive physically toward her.
One of the details saying that he attacked her to
a hotel, shoved her to the ground and ripped a
necklace off of her, spat on her. Tyreek's lawyer says
(56:56):
it's lies and a smear campaign to pressure him into
a payout, which I can also say, because these things
get messy. So who knows how it's gonna turn out.
But the NFL is investigating, but it's not the NFL's
place to investigate that that's the course. Yeah behavior, yeah right,
but yeah, but they have Yeah, they still do their
(57:17):
own thing. And then the Phillies Karen story continues. Now
the guy, the father who had to deal with her,
he's saying, like, all right, guys, enough, you know she
ever identified. I was gonna say, leave her alone. She's
not even we don't even know who she is. Well,
he says, leave it alone. The internet has already messed
her up pretty good. And he doesn't want people breaking
(57:40):
into her house and stuff like that, because people are nuts,
true as we've seen, oh yeah, just in the news
in the last twenty four hours, like people are insane.
Can get over it, we can get yeah, And I mentioned,
you know, I mentioned before. I get that people do
things or they say things they shouldn't say or they
shouldn't do. Now, unless I have something directly to do
with their job, or there's somehow a danger or whatever.
(58:01):
But in this case, let's just take the phillies Karen.
The people who are wanting to find out who she
is just so they can get her fired from her job,
which had nothing to do with this situation. That's the
only reason you want to find out who she is.
She wasn't going around saying I'm miss so and so
and I'm the whatever director of whatever at this company
and represent it's just a bit around here. Yeah, I'm
(58:24):
thinking about that woman on the plane, like you're I'm
a lawyer whatever, and that was a guy that there
was some other woman who was the woman saying you
fat bitch.
Speaker 9 (58:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (58:36):
She was playing something like unless you're trying to use
your position, whatever you do, or your you know, profession
in whatever you're being a dick about, Okay, then I
can see, like, you know, you don't really want this person,
like the woman who was at the front desk and
she was trying to scam the door dash. Oh yeah,
at the veterinarian Yeah, because they showed up at this
(58:56):
place and this place is now featured in the video
where she's doing something that's rotten, So that directly looks
bad on them, and so that I understand, like, okay,
you know they let her go and people are okay, good. Yeah,
she claimed that she didn't get her door dash order
when she clearly did. The drink was she was eating it.
It's just nuts though. With that haircut, she can't be identified,
right well, it's a pretty common haircut amongst Karen's right, Yeah,
(59:20):
part of yeah, it's part of the Yeah, this whole
thing that we call for people's jobs just because we
don't you know, like they that they said or did
that wasn't necessarily illegal. It's just that you don't like
not tacky. Yeah, yeah, I do that all the time
with cartnarks videos. People say, oh we need to find
this person. That comment gets deleted instantly. Yeah, yeah, we gotta.
You know, they they're a holes. But they can call
(59:41):
for your job all they want. This is your job.
You're literally doing your job, going out there doing.
Speaker 16 (59:46):
Don't we need to find this person. I'm I'm like
the person who's screaming at me, threatening me. Even even
even in those cases, I delete those comments because I
don't need that sort of It's not Yes, they had
a bad moment, but that you know, move on eight
seven seven for forwarding.
Speaker 2 (01:00:00):
You can send us a text if you'd like, over
to two two nine eighty seven. Love to hear from me.
We're gonna take a break and then we'll come back.
We're gonna have rich On Tech sweet talking about his
take his insight. He got a chance to get hands
on with all the stuff from the from the Apple announcement.
He was in Coopertino for all that. This week. We'll
get into some of the trending news headlines. They are
what they are. But yeah, we'll have all that coming
(01:00:22):
up for you next hour here on the Woody Show.
After these messages, The Woody Show and another new hour
is gonna bring in some of the trending news headlines.
Speaker 8 (01:00:35):
They are what they are.
Speaker 2 (01:00:37):
Rich On Tech our tech correspondent rich de Murro good. Uh,
he was in Kuopertino this week at Apple. He's got
his hands on all the new Apple stuff. Very careious
and he will give us his feedback. He'll give you
honest feedback. Yeah, he's not a homer for one side.
He really isn't. No, there's certain things he's I think
he's very objective and he probably has eighty seven fontes. Oh, yeah,
(01:01:01):
he's got a ton of stuff. It's you know, it's
MENACE's dream. That's what Menace. That's the kind of house
that Menace wants to live in. Right, Like anything that
comes out, they just send it to them. What do
you think of dream? Oh, by the way, this sounds
like something. And Menace wants the new the new iPhone.
But this is this would be perfect for Menace and
his wife's relationship startup called Alter Ego of all Things, right,
(01:01:27):
uh huh. They've announced what they claim is the world's
first wearable device that lets people communicate silently using their thoughts.
Speaker 8 (01:01:35):
This is the joke.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
This is the joke that Greg has made for years
about like any time he sees Menace and his wife
at the same time, they're never speaking. They're never speaking
and or not near each other because they're just both
on there. They could be sitting there in front of
each other, even like if they're off to the side
on their own and they're just looking at their phone
around other people, Like why do we I mean we
talk all the time. No, you're not talking to anybody
(01:01:57):
else either. You're both just kind of there, not talking
to each other and then both on your phones, and
so Greg was like, is this what it's like at home?
I wonder Anyway, the device it's called Silent Sense, and
it works by detecting tiny muscle signals in the brain
that sends to the speech system before words are actually spoken.
So they've done these demonstrations and the founder's show the
(01:02:17):
device working between people speaking different languages, just instant translation,
which I'm just wondering, what's the point. Yeah, this would
be terrible for relationships. I don't want them to know
what I'm thinking abou Yeah exactly, But that's why I
would love to know what people between what people are
saying to you and what they what's really going. I
would love the truth serum. Yea, I would, and I wouldn't, Oh,
(01:02:39):
I totally. I wouldn't want it, I appreciate. I just
want just give me the truth. I feel like I
can deal with anything if I know about it right,
good or bad. Yeah, Like, even if it's bad, it's
the truth. And so now that I know exactly what
we're dealing with, let me figure out how to figure
it out or address it all, totally navigate it or
(01:03:00):
whatever that would be.
Speaker 17 (01:03:01):
I waver between that and ignorance is bliss. Yes, if
you don't know, it's like then I just don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:03:07):
It depends on the situation.
Speaker 17 (01:03:08):
Have told something and you think I wish you hadn't
told me.
Speaker 2 (01:03:11):
Yes, I don't want to know that.
Speaker 17 (01:03:13):
I don't want to know.
Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
Don't tell me your secrets. I don't want them. I
don't want it. It's not even about secrets. It's about like,
if you are dealing with people, they're professionally or personally,
I'd rather know. Just just tell me what it is. Honestly,
I don't need spin, I don't need anything else. Let's
just be black and white about it. Objective not subjective. Right,
that's what I want. No, I get that, and I can,
(01:03:38):
and I can. It's when people, and you know, you
can see it. They're lying or they're not telling you everything.
They're leaving like a very important piece out and now
you're sitting there going, well, I don't know what to
do with this mystery. Yeah, I hate it, so it's perfect.
Speaker 17 (01:03:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:03:55):
Alternately, the device did you communicate without talking coming to
the Menace household eight Woodie, Yeah, we'll talk to rich
de Muro, which I believe he is available and ready
to go. All right, Well, it was big news earlier
in the week. It was on Tuesday, Apple had their
(01:04:17):
their annual announcement. They rolled out all the new iPhone stuff. Now,
you got to be fancy to get an invite to
these kind of things. And lucky for us, we know
fancy people. We know fancy people. We have we have
somebody on the inside. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,
Our official tech correspondent, Rich Damurro rich On Tech KTLA
entertainment reporter, host of the syndicated rich On Tech radio
(01:04:39):
show heard on stations throughout the country. Ladies and gentlemen,
please welcome Rich, Good morning, Chy.
Speaker 4 (01:04:45):
Good morning, Thanks for having me. Yes, big Apple event,
very exciting. It's always an honor just to be invited
to these things.
Speaker 2 (01:04:52):
Yeah, Now, do they have food and stuff for everybody?
Speaker 4 (01:04:55):
Or is that right?
Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
One of those like you got to buy your own
food once you're there.
Speaker 8 (01:05:00):
There is food.
Speaker 4 (01:05:01):
I'm not kidding. It's not just regular food. It is
fancy food. So we're talking like I had a green
Mancha shake yesterday, which literally I've ever had in my life.
Speaker 1 (01:05:08):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
And that now that's how you throw a part at
uh huh yeah, so like, uh no drink tickets.
Speaker 8 (01:05:18):
No alcohol, alcoholic not No, they don't do the alcohol.
Speaker 4 (01:05:21):
The last show I was at Cedia in Denver, they
had I mean it was like four o'cloth rolled around.
Speaker 8 (01:05:26):
I couldn't believe how much booze was on that noise.
Speaker 2 (01:05:29):
That's how you do, That's how you win people over. Yeah,
well we're gonna get into the raw out here. I
just wanted to like preface the whole thing with, yes,
we know there are people who are Android people like
Sea Bass, and there are people who are iPhone people. Now,
for the people who are iPhone people, I don't necessarily
care that you had something first or whatever. I just
I prefer the interfit personally, I'm saying me, personally, I
(01:05:50):
prefer the interface of the iPhone. You know, I understand, Uh,
you know what you're not. You're not necessarily wrong. I
did mess with an Android like years ago. I didn't
like it. I didn't like it at all, and so
I haven't gone back, and I've just stuck with the
iPhone now. Menace used to be a guy who would
camp out. Richie would be one of those guys. Had
to have it first day moment it came out, and
then for the last like handful of years, he's not
gotten a new phone. I haven't been wowed, but he's
(01:06:12):
been waiting for this one because of all the rumors
that were swirling around. And I am pleased to announce
that menace. You can let the people at Apple know,
the menace from the wood Is Show will be purchasing
the new iPhone seventeen probat.
Speaker 4 (01:06:24):
Wow, he's going eggs for them to win you over
at I think a lot of people are going to
be upgrading this year because it's finally gotten to a
place where Apple is really firing on all.
Speaker 8 (01:06:35):
Cylinders at this point.
Speaker 4 (01:06:36):
And I know what you said about you know Android
had at first versus iPhone. What I've realized is Apple
takes a little bit more time. They don't necessarily just
throw a bunch of stuff at the wall like Samsung
or come out with stuff like all the time like
software that Google does.
Speaker 8 (01:06:51):
They kind of take their time to really perfect their products.
Speaker 4 (01:06:54):
And I think these latest devices really embody that because
they are durable, the battery lasts longer, the screens are better,
the software is polished.
Speaker 8 (01:07:04):
They've really done a nice job.
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
Did you get your hands on these things, or you
just like saw the same stuff that we saw and
then got the Macha shake.
Speaker 8 (01:07:12):
Oh No.
Speaker 4 (01:07:13):
The best thing about Apple is that you get to
meet with all the people that actually make these devices.
Speaker 8 (01:07:18):
So I was in I can't really mention all the
things I did, but let's just say, yeah, I saw
some stuff and I did some things.
Speaker 2 (01:07:24):
Now, because the iPhone air like, i'd be like, I'm
interested in how you know that it looks like it'd
be top heavy because it's got like the bulkier part
of the top where all the cameras are on the back,
but then it's super thin all the way down and
if you look at it wrong, will it break? Yeah?
Speaker 8 (01:07:37):
Did you like it?
Speaker 12 (01:07:38):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:07:39):
It is so durable in fact, I mean again, I
can't say everything I did, but we got to see
kind of some of the testing they do for these
phones and pretty incredible. I mean, they really made a
point to show us that these things are durable and
you might not even need a case this year.
Speaker 8 (01:07:56):
That's how much testing they've done.
Speaker 10 (01:07:58):
Well.
Speaker 4 (01:07:58):
Although I personally like the case because I just feel
like it adds that grippiness to my phone that you know,
if my kid throws it across the room, It's going
to be fine.
Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Yeah, it's not a bar, you know.
Speaker 8 (01:08:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:08:08):
So like the so the seventeen to seventeen Pro, the
the iPhone Air. Like, what were some of the things
that kind of stood out most to you because I
think for menace mostly it's the it's the camera stuff,
right yeah, yeah.
Speaker 8 (01:08:20):
You know that's on the high end stuff.
Speaker 4 (01:08:22):
You know, people that are content creators, of course they
want that iPhone Pro or that Pro Max with the
three camera setup, the eight time zoom. But for the
most you know, average people out there, they want either
the iPhone seventeen. And I think the big story there
is that they finally added a better screen technology on
their Apple calls it promotion. It just means when you
(01:08:42):
scroll around, everything's going to look much better than it
did before. On the iPhone Air, it only has one lens,
so if you are a true shutter bug, that's probably
not going to be the best for you. But they
made it where it's super powerful, it's got a nice
big screen, and it sits right between the iPhone seventeen
and the Pro model. So there's no plus model this year.
(01:09:03):
It is basically the iPhone Air if you want that
plus model.
Speaker 13 (01:09:06):
Yeah, and I think for the people that are selfie obsessed,
the AI technology is pretty cool. I now, yeah, self adjust.
Speaker 2 (01:09:15):
How does that work? I heard that mention, but I
didn't quite follow exactly how that works.
Speaker 8 (01:09:20):
Yeah, it's weird so far, early reaction. I'm not a fan.
Speaker 4 (01:09:24):
But it's basically a square sensor in the selfie camera
at this point eighteen megapixels and instead of having to
rotate your phone, so if you want to take a
vertical photo, you would hold your phone vertical. If you
want to take a horizontal selfie with a whole bunch
of people in it, you could rotate your phone horizontal. Now,
when the phone looks at you, it uses AI to
decide how many people are in the photo, what orientation,
(01:09:47):
So you basically have core orientations in one It sounds
your phone. It's a little complicated in wonky, but you
know people that love selfies, well, like.
Speaker 2 (01:09:56):
Yeah, so why would you not be a fan of it?
Speaker 4 (01:09:58):
If automatically just because I you know, I'm just a
hands on kind of guy, Like I want to take
the picture of the way I want to take it,
and I don't need AI to tell me, Like if
it should be zoomed in, zoomed out, I mean down.
Speaker 8 (01:10:10):
I want to hold my phone the way I want to,
Like Rich.
Speaker 2 (01:10:13):
Is saying, is that Apple's kind of for dummies. You
don't want to don't want to think now, I do
enjoy your selfies by the way, Rich. So they rolled
out the pricing. They rolled out the pricing on the
seventeen to seventeen Pro Uh. Now, they did say that
the was it the Pro Max that has the two
terabyte option for you know, hard drive storage or whatever. Now,
(01:10:35):
the one thing they left out of that one they
did not mention the price. Do you have any idea
how much the two terabyte model will go for?
Speaker 13 (01:10:41):
I don't have the pricing on that, but four dollars
I'm looking at right now says two thousands.
Speaker 4 (01:10:52):
So they did increase the storage across the board to
two hundred and fifty six gigs, which I think is
great because for so many years Apple was like stuck
at like sixty four. Then they increased some of them
to one twenty eight. Two fifty six is an awesome
amount of storage for the average person. They also didn't
raise prices on like the base models. For the most part,
the Pro models got a little bit of a bump,
(01:11:13):
but again they got that more storage. So got eight
hundred dollars starting price, I think is still pretty strong
for that standard phone, and I think a thousand dollars
is very reasonable for the air.
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
So you got the the new phones, you got the
new watches, which I really don't care about the watch,
but the other part I'm excited about. I think the
AirPods Pro three sound cool. I've never had a problem
with the sound quality of those. I always thought they
sounded pretty good.
Speaker 8 (01:11:36):
Oh wait till you try these.
Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
But what I think is really cool is this whole
And I don't know how much I'll use it. I
just like the idea that you can do it. The
real time translation stuff so amazing. It sounds pretty cool.
Speaker 8 (01:11:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:11:47):
I got a demo of that yesterday and it works
as advertised. We had someone talking to us and you know,
we could hear in my language English, he was speaking Portuguese.
Speaker 8 (01:11:57):
It was incredible.
Speaker 4 (01:11:58):
And it's one of these things where this is a
future people have been wanting for a long time. We're
finally starting to see it on a variety of devices,
not just the air pods, but the fact that it's
built into the most popular headphones in the entire world,
is probably gonna make people use it. The air Pods,
like you said, already sounded good. Yea, the air Pods
Pro three really take it up a notch because they've
(01:12:19):
got foam tips now inside, and so not only is
the seal better, but the noise cancelation is twice as good,
and the audio the base and it just sounded so
incredible in my testing.
Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
So yeah, rich with that.
Speaker 13 (01:12:33):
How's the ear feel? Because with the Pros, I honestly
prefer like the cheaper you do, I can't use I
think they fit better.
Speaker 2 (01:12:43):
Yeah, these always fall out of my ear, but the
Pros always kind of like fell out of my ear.
It's the opposite for me. I have to have the
one the little rubber tips, which one of those the Pros,
because those are the because the other ones that are
just a solid plastic those would always fall out of
my ears. I think your ears are just.
Speaker 8 (01:12:59):
I think it depends on the ears.
Speaker 4 (01:13:01):
Like some people live and die by the ones that
go in your canal, and like they've got the little
tips that the you know, kind of form to your ears.
Speaker 8 (01:13:08):
Some people don't like that. Feeling. So they like the
idea that it just sits on the back, on the
side of your ear.
Speaker 4 (01:13:13):
I will say that they have five tip sizes now,
so just just it should fit better in most people's ears. Yeah,
you know, it's just it's it's improvements that Apple just
continues to make. They put the heart rate sensor in
the AirPod, so now you can just go out for
a run or a walk or all these different workouts
(01:13:34):
and track your heart rate without even having an Apple Watch,
which is also pretty incredible.
Speaker 8 (01:13:38):
I mean, they just keep pushing the envelope.
Speaker 4 (01:13:39):
In my opinion, as much as I think Android's great,
as much as I think Google's great, Samsung's doing some
cool things, Apple is like at this point, just doing
really incredible strides with their devices.
Speaker 2 (01:13:50):
While we're talking to rich dam here a rich on Tech.
You're gonna follow him online. He's got his his newsletter
which I saw you said, like a new whether they
called Plateau or new milestone, milestone, thank you menace coming
in help. Yeah, so I mean sign of people. I
mean he sends out a lot of really cool, useful
information for the average person. You know, you weren't talking
(01:14:12):
about like early with the iPhones. He goes, hey, you
know the pro models and stuff. Those are more for
like content creators, guys like Menace or whoever you know
by the eyes. So if you're just into you know,
normal consumer tech, it's a great newsletter and his syndicated
radio show, you should check that out. Moving on from
the phones themselves, you were mentioning something I want to
get more information about. It was the one app that
(01:14:33):
you were talking about, because you were talking about now
they have the higher storage on the new phones and stuff,
but if you do have one of those older phones
that have the smaller, you know, storage capabilities. What what's
the storage cleaner app that you were talking about?
Speaker 8 (01:14:47):
Yeah, and thanks for the plug on the newsletter.
Speaker 4 (01:14:49):
I'm telling you, this is the kind of stuff that
I look for to put in the newsletter because one
of the things I get is a lot of emails
and people insistently ask me, hey, Rich, how do I
clean up this ords to my phone? There's a million
and one cleaner apps on the iPhone on the app store.
None of them are good because they're all scammy. They
want to charge you after a week, so don't use
any of them. I did find one. It's called Clever Cleaner.
(01:15:12):
It is completely free. There's not even an AD on
this program. There's no in app purchases the information.
Speaker 2 (01:15:19):
Yeah right, How do they get away with that?
Speaker 12 (01:15:22):
No?
Speaker 4 (01:15:22):
No, no, this is a trusted company, so they're trying
to sell you on other stuff, which is their paid
software that they make for the Mac computer. So it's
kind of like a play where they're saying, look, we're
going to give you this amazing software for free in
hopes that you'll say, wow, that's really cool. Let me
see what else they offer, and maybe you'll buy something
else that's cleaner. And it's freezing it right now, clever Cleaner.
(01:15:42):
So it's it's it's not a website, and you go
and get it regular app.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Okay, yeah, and.
Speaker 4 (01:15:46):
I'll sort your stuff. All processing is done on your device,
so it's private. It shows you your biggest videos they
call them the heavies, which I think is kind of funny.
Then they show you your similar photos so you can swipe,
you know, if you want to get rid of the
similar photos, your duplicates. And then it even as like
a tender feature where it just shows your pictures by
month by month, and each day it'll say hey, do
(01:16:09):
you want to swipe this left to get rid of it?
Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:16:11):
That what I was talking about, Remember, I said, because
that was I knew somebody that that's how they went
through there. They have a huge photo library, and it
was just kind of daunting to just start going through it.
So it's like every day, it's like, on this day,
here are pictures that you've taken over the last X
number of years, and you could just go through them
from that one day and clean it up that way,
and it made the process a lot easier.
Speaker 15 (01:16:32):
Yeah, I'm at six percent because I got like eighty
billion pictures.
Speaker 2 (01:16:36):
And they're all selfies. Yeah, well a lot of them.
Speaker 8 (01:16:38):
A love that I do of Why Yeah, we take
a bunch.
Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
Let's wrap up this. This very interesting and very informative.
I've made the statement the last couple of years with
these iPhone releases, I go, I don't know if I'm
gonna get it, yeah, and I always end up getting it.
So I'm not even going to kid myself this time.
Tomorrow is when you could pre order, and I always
pre order mine through Verizon because I find I get
it like the day of really, because I've tried to
(01:17:05):
do it through like the Apple Store app or whatever,
and it says, oh, it'll be there two weeks after
it comes out. It gives me that date. But when
I did it through my carrier, it gets there the
day of. So I'm definitely signing up for I don't
know why. I don't know because I'm not a big
video content content creator, but yeah, I'll still Wow.
Speaker 8 (01:17:25):
There are a lot of other things.
Speaker 4 (01:17:26):
I mean, look, it's gonna run cooler, the screen's gonna
be better, it's brighter. I mean, the battery lasts longer.
I think overall, no matter what phone you're coming from,
it's still a pretty nice upgrade, especially at that pro level.
Speaker 2 (01:17:38):
All right, well rich on Tech Gadget of the Week.
Speaker 8 (01:17:41):
Okay, so these are some glasses that I've been trying out.
Speaker 4 (01:17:44):
You know, you've heard about these augmented reality headsets, the
VR headsets. These are augmented reality glasses. They're from x Reel,
and what I like about them is that they are
just a pair of glasses that you plug into your phone,
whether you have Android or iPhone, and immediately you see
there's two little screens inside your lenses.
Speaker 8 (01:18:02):
You can see a giant.
Speaker 4 (01:18:04):
Screen of your phone in front of you, so you
can watch shows, you can watch movies, work on a spreadsheet. Yeah,
you don't have to charge anything, you don't have to
download any software. It just plugs in and so it's
just really simple and.
Speaker 2 (01:18:18):
So wired what do you say, plugs in? Look not,
you know, you're not like connecting it wirelessly. It's connected
through a physical cable.
Speaker 4 (01:18:26):
Yes, which makes it a little bit different than the
way the other augmented reality glasses work. You know, either're
wireless or you have to download special software. It's just
really easy. So if you want this giant screen in
front of you to watch shows on or to work
on things, you can use that.
Speaker 8 (01:18:41):
It's just kind of a nice thing to have. So
it's not cheap. It's five hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (01:18:45):
But because you don't have to really plan to do
anything with this, you don't have to like plan in
advance that you want to use it.
Speaker 8 (01:18:50):
It pretty much works with any app.
Speaker 4 (01:18:52):
The only downside to that I've noticed is that sometimes
if the app is not format it properly for like
an external display, you'll have to leave your phone screen
on while you watch the content. So that was a
little weird when I was watching, like you know, I
was like, kept trying to turn off my phone. I
was like, why is this screen on in the corner,
But you have to leave it on.
Speaker 2 (01:19:11):
Sometimes it's called X the letter X Reel r E
A L X reel and the augmented reality glasses. Your
gadget of the Week with Rich Demiro rich on Tech.
All right, so Rich, tell everybody how they can sign
up for this amazing newsletter of yours.
Speaker 8 (01:19:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:19:27):

also on Instagram at rich on Tech. And realistically, if
you find something, hopefully you will find something every single
week that you read in that newsletter and you say, ah,
this is why I followed this guy, because he's looking

Speaker 2 (01:19:43):
Yeah, well, Rich, we always appreciate the inside of the information.
Always really cool stuff. If you're in the gadget and
stuffing can be excited about, make your life a little
bit easier. Rich on Tech. Everybody, Yeah, nothing. Sports Day

(01:20:05):
Good morning fam.
Speaker 14 (01:20:06):
Last night's Dodger game had a little bit of everything.
Speaker 2 (01:20:08):
Man eleven strikeouts from.
Speaker 14 (01:20:10):
Blake Snell, he was dealing a fan ran onto the
field last night We've got another home run from Taska
Hernandez and this grand slam for Mookie bettso.
Speaker 8 (01:20:19):
High le fielding dude cut us.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
Lash.
Speaker 14 (01:20:26):
So the Dodgers sweep the Rockies and increased their lead
in the nl West over the Padres. Little by little,
the Dodgers are getting healthy and everything is starting to click.
Down in Orange County, the Angels beat the Minnesota Twins
in a matinee game thanks to this sacrifice.
Speaker 2 (01:20:39):
Fly by Mike Trout hosing over Is Martiny Slas to
make the catch.
Speaker 8 (01:20:44):
The TNLCO scores of the intest lead of the ad.
Speaker 14 (01:20:48):
Moving on to the NFL, we got football tonight, five
point fifteen on Prime Video. It's the Washington Commanders and
the Green Bay Packers. Packers favored by three and a half.
I think the Packers are gonna win this tonight easily.
And since we're talking football, I told you guys the
other day about a Buffalo Bills fan that was pushed
by Lamar Jackson.
Speaker 2 (01:21:06):
Well yesterday during his press.
Speaker 14 (01:21:07):
Conference, Lamar Jackson took the time to apologize and got
pushed somebody up.
Speaker 18 (01:21:11):
But I was like outside, I wasn't even thinking about
me being out there on the field.
Speaker 2 (01:21:15):
But my apologies to that, to that whoever that was
just shit. Next time, just you know, you can talk
trash and stuff, keep your hand to yourself.
Speaker 14 (01:21:22):
I like the fact that he told him to chill though, man,
because if Lamar wasn't pushed.
Speaker 2 (01:21:25):
First, he probably wouldn't have pushed back. Man, Take it easy, fans.
I'm Jeff g. And that's a so cal sports all right, everybody, yeha,
The Woody Show, and it's the elephant in the room.
It's this segment that uh, you know, we've uh we've
been on the air for over what many hours, let's
(01:21:45):
get two hours and forty three minutes. Yeah, and we've
alluded to but we have not covered the trending news
headlines for today.
Speaker 12 (01:21:53):
Yeah.
Speaker 15 (01:21:53):
And the big story, of course, is about the death
of popular conservative activist podcaster Charlie Kirk. He was killed
yesterday while doing an event at Utah Valley University where
he was answering a question from a student.
Speaker 2 (01:22:04):
Got shot in the neck.
Speaker 15 (01:22:06):
His security team got him the hospital two and a
half miles away, but he was pronounced dead an hour later,
and the bullet came from a rifle on the rooftop
of the campus. About two hundred yards away. Whoever did
it still out there? Cops arrested two people they thought
could have been the shooter, but they were released.
Speaker 2 (01:22:23):
Yeah, there was a picture I saw where they you know,
from the background of somebody else's photo from the event.
You see somebody, you know, laying down. There's a video
of a Yeah, and did you see the poor guy
who was like seventy being dragged with his pants down? Oh,
that was the first guy they said it was the
quote shooter, right, but then you know didn't have a
rifle and you can tell that wasn't the sound of
(01:22:43):
a handgun even the sound of it, Uh, definitely a
rifle of some kind of right, well they Yeah. The
other thing that I wasn't expecting because I was on
ex Twitter or whatever it is, I wasn't expecting the
video to be the first video I saw it to
be as graphic as it was. It's right up, it's
completely uncensored. I wasn't even thinking it was because it
(01:23:05):
was just a video started playing and I didn't realize
just how graphic that was about to be. And man,
that stuck with me for the rest and the fact
that the last word that he said in his life
was violence. He said the word violence and pop and
then just you and when you watched and you saw,
you know that there's no way he was going to
(01:23:27):
survive that. They're like, oh, was in critical.
Speaker 8 (01:23:29):
You're dog well.
Speaker 15 (01:23:31):
The FBI says the investigation is still in the early stages,
but a targeted attack, and that the only info they
have on the shooter for now is, like you said,
that security camera on campus showed a person dressed in
dark clothing jump off a roof run from the scene.
The Utah Department of Public Safety. The commissioner says the
suspect blended in appears to be a college age. A
(01:23:51):
special agent from the FBI says they have the high
powered rifle they think was used, along with a footwear impression,
a palm.
Speaker 2 (01:23:58):
Print, and a forearm imprint. They're going to analyze those.
Speaker 15 (01:24:01):
And by the way, reports say he's not hiding in
the woods where the investigators found the alleged rifle. I Meanwhile,
tributes and calls to end political violence are coming, you know,
pouring in from both sides. President Trump ordering all flags
be flown at half staffs as Hill award Kirk the
Medal of Freedom, and he was thirty one with a
wife and two young kids.
Speaker 2 (01:24:20):
Dude, talk about just divided. We just talked to Rich
about the iPhone stuff. And when you see the texts
that come in from like the Android people, or when
you're talking about the Android stuff, the stuff that comes
in from the iPhone, it's crazy, like people are that
divided over a phone. Yeah, and it's everything. It seems
to be to this point where and people can't they
(01:24:43):
can't hear or see anything that just doesn't absolutely fit
their view without becoming more and more enraged. And that's
that's the part that's gotten really out of control. Yes,
it's like, yeah, you could be upset and you could
be mad, but now people want they want to fight. Yep,
they want some kind of physical thing. They want to
(01:25:05):
I punched that person right in their nose. If I
heard somebody saying X y Z, well this person, you know,
shooting and killing somebody.
Speaker 15 (01:25:13):
And it's like, you know, we've talked about a million times,
like I don't like that person. I want I'm going
to get their job. I'm going to take their job. Now,
I'm going to take their life.
Speaker 2 (01:25:21):
Well, so did you hear about in the comments? You know,
the comments section typically, but the comments were really ugly
on that whole thing yesterday. But the MSNBC guy, did
you see that and you master your doubt? Yeah, fired
within an hour after the whole thing because they were
talking about the shooting. And he said, you can't stop
with these sort of awful thoughts that you have and
then say these awful words and not expect awful actions
(01:25:45):
to take place. And that's unfortunate the environment that we're in.
And that's the unfortunate environment that we're in. So like, oh, well,
you know, you did say things that people don't like,
so expect it, well, you know, And so he was
fired very very quickly. He also jokes saying that the
shot may have come from one of one of his
supporters who's gone accidentally went off like a celibratory gunfire
(01:26:05):
and all right, yeah, And so MSNBC released the statement
calling the comments and approperty and sensitive unacceptable and said
we apologize for his statements. Uh, there's no place for
violence in America, political or otherwise.
Speaker 15 (01:26:18):
Well, in more bad news, someone started shooting up a
Colorado high school during their lunch period yesterday. Of fish
will say, two students were injured and airlifted to the
hospital with one instable condition, the other in critical condition.
The shooter killed himself with a gunshot as well. Cops
got there within two minutes of the first nine one
one called made contact with the shooter right away. That's
when he shot himself and had the entire school on
(01:26:39):
lockdown within five minutes. Investigators are working on getting a
warrant to search the shooter's home and school locker. You
need a warrant for a school locker and realize apparently meanwhile,
I thought the principle just opens.
Speaker 2 (01:26:50):
That up that way at our school. Yeah, we're doing
locker checks, That's what I'm talking about, and they just
dump all your stuff out there, turn it upside down
a prison stell they did, yeah what they call it tossing. Yeah,
like where they toss a prison mattresses. Yeah, exactly. They
would just open up because I guess they were looking
for something and maybe somebody got worried that maybe somebody
(01:27:11):
had drugs or something they weren't supposed to have, right,
and so everybody had to They would do it like
a class at the time. You had to be in
your classroom and then they go all right, everybody up
and then they take everybody over to the lockers, one
class at a time. Everybody had to open up their
locker and just stand next to it without touching anything,
and then they'd come over. It's kind of like the
person cell check. Yeah, and they would come over and
they just start taking stuff out of lockers and putting
(01:27:32):
them on the floor, looking through everybody's bag, jackets, anything
that was in there. That's funny. Yeah, that's wild.
Speaker 13 (01:27:38):
I mean the response is really quick, and the school
is getting a little bit of flax, saying that they
were supposed to have like a test of like a drill,
a drill last week that they cancel.
Speaker 2 (01:27:50):
When it came to this guy, I don't know you
need I'm with you. I didn't know you needed a warrant.
Speaker 15 (01:27:53):
Yeah, to look through lockers, constantly opening lockers. Well, today,
as you know, Mark's the twenty fourth anniversary of the
September eleventh attacks, when terrorists hijacked four planes and flew
them into the World Trade Center at the Pentagon in
a field in Pennsylvania. There's an anniversary ceremony over in
New York, and the Pentagon will have their own ceremony
to honor the one hundred and eighty four people who
were killed in that attack. And then there will be
(01:28:14):
a ceremony in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, people all across the country
marking the anniversary with charity works since it also happens
to be a National Day of Service, and President Trump
and First Lady Milania will go to the Pentagon ceremony
before heading to New York to throw out the first
pitch at a Yankee stick at the Yankees game later.
Speaker 2 (01:28:32):
What a one to eighty that's going to be. And
just because we need something silly and dumb to balance
this out, thank you. Can we please talk about scrow talks. Oh, yeah,
I've heard about scrow talks. Yes, we brought it up. Yeah,
it just well, it just came up here in the
last few days. I seen the I guess there must
have been something new that yeah to tell us about.
But because I didn't click on it, because I don't
(01:28:53):
need scrow talks. My bag is amazing. My bag still
looks really good. Well, you know one needs it. Yeah,
let's just oh, you say that to you about but
I mean people bleach their buttholes, that's true.
Speaker 17 (01:29:03):
You want to look good.
Speaker 2 (01:29:05):
I mean that that is I think the bottom of
the barrel of veins. You're caring what your butthole looks like.
I told you a girl friend of mine dropped her pants,
bent over and spread them to be like, is this
getting darker? So people talk about this all right. So
there's a new.
Speaker 15 (01:29:20):
Medical, new ish medical procedure. It's getting a lot more
popular now. It involves guys and their nuts and the boattox,
and it's called scrotox and it's very simple.
Speaker 2 (01:29:30):
You get botox injected right in your junk and it
helps get rid of wrinkles vanity.
Speaker 16 (01:29:37):
Okay, here's what I'm seeing. It's not the wrinkled surface
that so much. It's that they don't hang as love.
Speaker 2 (01:29:42):
Well, that's part of it. Let me get I'm getting there.
Speaker 15 (01:29:44):
Doctors say that along with getting all getting it all smooth,
the procedure can be used to treat hyper hydrosis, which
is basically just sweaty balls, and also.
Speaker 2 (01:29:54):
Temporarily make them look bigger, because isn't that what everyone wants?
And less sag. You always talk about a swamp. Yeah, sbs, dude,
it's a real thing. Well, people do get botoxed for sweat,
like they get in their.
Speaker 15 (01:30:09):
Yeah, it's and docs say it's generally safe, but they
do want to stress to you want to see a qualified.
Speaker 2 (01:30:15):
Doctor to minimize chance, not something going around Gina's back alley.
Speaker 15 (01:30:19):
Yeah, meet me in the Ultimate Medicine Delivery Service. Let's
take carry your bag in five minutes.
Speaker 13 (01:30:24):
Remember that thing called monkey butt that kind of helped
you with that. Remember we used to play the commercial
monkey butt powder, But there was there was something. There
was another powder they sell gold bond. I had a
funny name, you know, to help you with the swamp
It was like for a sweaty bag.
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
Was something something like that, Yeah, it was. It was
for swamp ass. You just like dump corn starch down
your pants. What it is is that is that because
this didn't it didn't create this stuff didn't create a
paste like something like you. That's what happened. Baby powder
or that kind of stuff. It would create uh you're bathing, Yeah,
it would created a period. No, it's it's in the ingredients. Now.
(01:31:00):
As far as the sag goes, because the body naturally
regulates the temperature of the testicles because it has to
be a proper temperature to create sp That's why when
it's cold out your bag shrinks up and it's closer
your body to stay wars is old man balls. And
then when it's warmer, out your your you know body
(01:31:21):
or whatever, and so your nutsold like they dropped on
the ground further away from your body.
Speaker 16 (01:31:28):
It is just for like long balls, right, exactly like
old Man's Old Man, And I sent you a I'm
not a screamish person with medical stuff, but this I
sent you the text, Greg, I'd like to see this. Okay,
they do it right into the bag, but like this
chick or this applic person is digging around in there.
Speaker 2 (01:31:45):
It's yeah, I mean it just it just seems to
doesn't get more vain than scrow tips.
Speaker 11 (01:31:52):
And with how sensitive it is down there, do you
think it would be super painful?
Speaker 15 (01:31:56):
Well, like any painful botox, they usually on the sack. No, well,
you know you get you get numbing.
Speaker 2 (01:32:02):
It can take a lot. Okay, Well I didn't know
that I was really sensitive. No, I wouldn't feel good.
Speaker 16 (01:32:11):
Video well, yeah, age restricted, but you can see the
needle moving through the skin. Okay, it's not fun.
Speaker 2 (01:32:16):
Well anyway, that's what's going on with Thank you very much,
Gina GRADOODI show is next. Sorry, oh it is. She's
getting in there with a needle.
Speaker 8 (01:32:31):
Show will be right back.
Speaker 2 (01:32:32):
But all.
Speaker 10 (01:32:35):
Morgan, are you ready?
Speaker 2 (01:32:37):
Oh my god, I was born for this morning right here.
Y'all don't know this. I'm sudden hallucinating, Woody sure well, certainly.
One of my favorite clips that we have played for
you this week is the guy who quit his job
at the at home the door. Yeah that I quit
(01:32:59):
this whole ass guys, I'm wondering where you're at.
Speaker 9 (01:33:01):
I had to come find you.
Speaker 2 (01:33:07):
Without your without your supervisor. Here, why the supervisor? I quick,
and I'm asking you to leave you if both of
you I quick?
Speaker 17 (01:33:18):
This whole ass job.
Speaker 2 (01:33:19):
Fine, I believe this whole ass job. I'm sorry. Yeah,
the whole ass job. And yeah, it did sound like
a whole ass job. Yeah, just you jumped on the intercommon.
Let the whole store know that. Hey, you can take
whatever you want because there ain't no security. He's a hero.
Speaker 8 (01:33:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (01:33:41):
Here this week in audio, we've got the original game
see Best Original Game trademark copyright. How'd they awi clips
of people getting hurt? And you guess how did they hurt?
Speaker 2 (01:33:50):
In this case, I'll give you a clue. This is
backstage backstage. I'm wearing backstage, some kind of stage backstage. Okay,
how did the owiper?
Speaker 15 (01:34:06):
I gotta guess, Uh one of those sandbags that comes
down one of the curtain open old time.
Speaker 2 (01:34:12):
Yeah, he's look at a Scooby Do episode. I have
an idea.
Speaker 13 (01:34:23):
I let Manus go first because okay, uh, because I've
seen a bunch of artists do this before they hit
their head on some scaffolding that they didn't see.
Speaker 16 (01:34:30):
There's a lot of ducking and yeah, going through things.
But Sam, he probably has the inside track because this
is somebody she loves.
Speaker 2 (01:34:36):
Was this Morgan Wallen throwing a batta?
Speaker 16 (01:34:40):
So this is in the Rogers Center in Toronto where
Morgan Wallen does something that, quite frankly, at first I
thought was fun. Now I just think it's mega dooche
he before he walks out on stage. Morganwallan, the country artist.
He'll have a local folk hero like he'll have like
Peyton Manning when he's in Knoxville. In this case, he
had Jose Bautista, a film reformer Toronto Blue Jays player,
(01:35:02):
and his wife, Nisha Bautista, is a videoing As you know,
Morgan Wallace got a bat and he's faking like he's
sitting the home run because Jose Bautista hands in the
bat and he chucks the bat behind him right where
Na Bautista is.
Speaker 2 (01:35:15):
It's real hard, that's right. Well, he was on a
chair off a rooftop of the bar in Nashville. Ye,
how they ally?
Speaker 16 (01:35:26):
All right, I'll give you a clue on this next one.
Same game involves old people.
Speaker 2 (01:35:30):
Old people? Okay, how they ali?
Speaker 9 (01:35:38):
Bear kerry?
Speaker 17 (01:35:41):
Okay, I have a gut instinct.
Speaker 8 (01:35:45):
It's like a.
Speaker 17 (01:35:48):
Bear kerry, the old piece of metal and a toaster
like a kids Like they're like they're like an old
dude who was trying to get a piece of you
came up with that that quickly.
Speaker 2 (01:36:01):
Okay.
Speaker 15 (01:36:02):
I don't think this is what it is, but I'm
hoping it is. I'm hoping it has to do with
one of those chairs that brings you up the stairs.
Speaker 2 (01:36:09):
Like they fell out of it. Like maybe they didn't
get buckled in right.
Speaker 16 (01:36:13):
Like it's like like his nineteen forty five. I've seen
houses that he would happen.
Speaker 7 (01:36:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (01:36:19):
Sometimes I think maybe they walked through a screen door
window or something like that.
Speaker 2 (01:36:24):
Or maybe he was trying to get the barbecue grill.
Going needs like gasoline or something.
Speaker 16 (01:36:27):
Else house gases, but I have Unfortunately. NBC New York
has more on this story.
Speaker 19 (01:36:34):
Seventy six year old Kathleen Schuman is accused of walking
out of her apartment and firing a flare gun at
her neighbor, who was just walking his dog. Friends of
Kathleen say that she has been arguing with Richard for
years and that perhaps things have just culminated to this point.
Speaker 4 (01:36:52):
I guess she'd gotta be purchased it because he kept
her answers.
Speaker 6 (01:36:55):
She was scared to death of them.
Speaker 19 (01:36:56):
But according to Richard, the things that she was saying
to him, even after or she's shot him, we're still shocking.
Speaker 4 (01:37:03):
She was not afraid of me, but she's kept coming
out mocking me, telling me I'm a demon.
Speaker 2 (01:37:08):
I tried to murder her.
Speaker 16 (01:37:11):
Shocking right right, Yeah, and she hit him right in
the cheek. He's got a big like a roads.
Speaker 2 (01:37:18):
Are no joke. You can be try out, can't this
weekend audio?
Speaker 9 (01:37:23):
All right?
Speaker 16 (01:37:23):
Our next clip here is involves somebody doing something awesome
and I think one of the great sports calls in
recent memory.
Speaker 2 (01:37:30):
You guys, we have a new deadlift world record bros.
Really anybody nice?
Speaker 8 (01:37:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:37:36):
Yeah, well it involves the the the Mountain from Game
of Thrones.
Speaker 8 (01:37:40):
I love him.
Speaker 2 (01:37:40):
He keeps setting records. He's scary. Here's the call.
Speaker 8 (01:37:43):
Is he got?
Speaker 2 (01:37:44):
I'll let them tell you how much weight he's lifting
of ice on five?
Speaker 1 (01:38:00):
Oh, Julius, be some, oh my some.
Speaker 5 (01:38:13):
Do you want to know?
Speaker 15 (01:38:14):
I'm sure Sebt has this, but do you want to
know how many pounds that is? Tell us one thousand,
one hundred and twenty five.
Speaker 9 (01:38:21):
Wow. Wow.
Speaker 2 (01:38:22):
It's a nice start now again.
Speaker 16 (01:38:24):
And a lot of the weightlifting, like big limits are
are kind of they're inflated, like with bench press, especially
because by the time you're a bench press world record holder,
you're moving the bar about four inches because you have squad,
your chest is enormous. You usually have squat little arms.
But this dude six foot nine. Wow, So that's a
lot of weight going, a lot of kidding. And of
course you people point to the photos of him and
(01:38:46):
his girlfriend, who's like tiny, and he's picking her up
and thrown around the.
Speaker 2 (01:38:50):
Woody shore. I'm jumping right back into this week in audio, and.
Speaker 16 (01:38:55):
I've forgotten how they are we clip, but I love
this one so much. The clue here again? How did
they hurt themselves? What you guys are trying to guess?
The clue is this lady's name is Caitlin McCutcheon, from
outside of Pittsburgh.
Speaker 2 (01:39:09):
That's the clue, all right, trying to crush a can
of Iron City beer in her head and gave herself
a concussion. Listen, that's possible. How the AWI? How the OWI?
All right, here we go. Probably I not know that
(01:39:29):
Shi was from Pittsburgh. I know the video. I know
the clip exactly exactly. I know I know the video.
I had no idea she was from Pittsburgh. Well technically
technically Westmoreland County technically. Okay, still that.
Speaker 17 (01:39:43):
Metro and she said, hit me baby one more time.
Speaker 2 (01:39:49):
Listen closely, Okay, what do you explain what happened? So, car,
she's in the car, she's driving, she's shooting a selfie
video with which you gotta do while you're driving. Spears
one more time. But she's doing that, and however she's
(01:40:11):
driving because you can't see what's happening around her, in
front of her whatever, she's losing control of the vehicle. Okay,
it starts spinning she does the wheel the right, completely
out of control at all. Yes, oh yeah, yeah, the
sup things here. Number one, don't you driving? Number two?
No one cares that your lip syncing to a song.
No one wants to see that. It's it's absolute narcissism.
(01:40:33):
I'm glad you rolled your car, your dummy, especially to Britain.
Speaker 16 (01:40:39):
Speaking of dummies, and uh, they're they're getting this themselves, hurt.
I should say this next clip, Actually it's a rare
confluence menas of Menace News, Greg News.
Speaker 2 (01:40:48):
What's a confluence menace?
Speaker 9 (01:40:50):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (01:40:51):
A quick or a connection? A connection?
Speaker 16 (01:40:55):
Yeah, con coming together? Yeah, flow fluents flowing. Yeah, yeah,
all right. So this is Greg News, Menace News, and
maybe Morgan News. This is Lil Tay oh godgea. She
is talking to TMZ Menace about how Sophie Rain because
now is that Instagram not Instagram an only fans model?
(01:41:16):
Now Lil Tany's not only fans and how she they're
both millionaires. By the way, Greg weren't thinking arguing about
who made more right and now they want to fight.
But someone's backing out here. Here's Little Tay is washed up.
Speaker 2 (01:41:27):
That's all they're just to say. That is washed up.
Speaker 20 (01:41:29):
She doesn't believe that anybody can earn more than her.
Dofie can say whatever she wants to say. Matter of
fact is she's washed up, she's old, and she won't box.
Speaker 2 (01:41:37):
Me because she's scary.
Speaker 20 (01:41:38):
I offer sixty mil. The offer is still up if
you want to do is Selfie Roland Love. You know
what the sixty million dollar offer that I gave to Sophie,
it could go to you, Danielle, and then you can
buy your man. Your man could go on shopping spreeze again.
Speaker 2 (01:41:52):
Oh okay, Danielle Geers. This is their life, like in
anybody that even you your life and you still care
about something like that, Like you have all this money
and is what you care about? This is just a
marketing play for Little Tay Soelfhie. Ray's busted and broke through.
She's twenty and I appreciate and I appreciate Menace for
(01:42:16):
this is when he has, you know, a conversation about
these dumb individuals and he'll tell it to us like
it's the biggest thing in the world. No, no, no,
like these dumb individuals like Little Tay, it's not that
they're idiots, it's so strategic Everything they do is mega strategic.
They are playing three D chess. We're just too dumb. Shit,
It's not that they're idiots. It's not like it just yes,
(01:42:36):
does it end up working, because people end up, But
it's is that what it's all about? Are they just
dumb and they're running cameras on every moment of their life,
and so we just capture all the stupid and good.
Speaker 17 (01:42:48):
She could be a nuclear physicist, and she's just an
ob noxious, terrible person. Hater, Yeah, hater.
Speaker 16 (01:42:57):
Everyone in the story. You hate because you hate that
to catch me out that girl about that, I don't
think about the Sophie rang girl. Than she made ten
million dollars fifty dollars the high the highest earning only fans.
So I mean, okay, congratulations, Oh you do it all
(01:43:19):
the time. What is absolutely correct?
Speaker 8 (01:43:21):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:43:21):
Yeah, because it's I'm saying she's the highest on OnlyFans.
Little Tay wants to get more money off only fans.
So she just starts talking back about like in any industry,
that's what you do. You talked smack on the highest
like rat beefs, rat.
Speaker 13 (01:43:35):
Befs, radio beafs, uh wrestling beefs whoever's on top where
you want to be.
Speaker 2 (01:43:41):
You just started talking smack about them to give free play.
Is that the reason you're talking smack? Or are you
talking smack because you're an insecure idiot? That's my point,
Like I think you, yeah, the well, the result ends
up being the same. But it's not like they sat
there and there in their their strategy, meaning but you
know what we're gonna do. We're gonna attack. Here's what
I'm gonna do, guys, I'm to attack little Tedy goes.
I'm going to attack this person because this is the
(01:44:03):
end goal and this is how this ends up. It's not,
it's just it's rooted in this massive insecurity or a
massive ego. I would agree with you.
Speaker 13 (01:44:14):
And if there was any financial benefit, if you're just
there talking smack about the person that's on the top
for no reason, for no financial benefit, no sixty million
dollars boxing match, then yeah, you're just an insecure idiot.
Speaker 2 (01:44:26):
But that happens a lot too. Yeah, I mean the
rat beafs are just an extension of street beats.
Speaker 13 (01:44:30):
If you're talking smack, just a talk smack, yeahs to
assign her any intelligence to any of these people. I'm
glad you said all that would because a least it's
our next clip. Oh god, do you still love Cardi
b Woodie?
Speaker 9 (01:44:40):
I do?
Speaker 2 (01:44:42):
I do?
Speaker 13 (01:44:42):
I do.
Speaker 2 (01:44:44):
She's you know, she just had like some uh court yeah,
the court decisions. Oh yeah, she was being sued for
beating somebody up or something like that. And I love
I just love her reactions. She I think, and there
is no strategy with her whatsoever. She says whatever she
thinks in the moment that she thinks it and doesn't
care about any kind of consequence.
Speaker 13 (01:45:05):
She does kind of fall Are you gonna play what
happened right outside of court after she just won her case?
Speaker 2 (01:45:11):
Oh no, this is just her. This is just her
second CITs on the street of New York.
Speaker 13 (01:45:14):
Okay, well, let me explain this because I will agree
with what he's last statement about how she just says
what she wants and with no strategy, because she won
that case that was supposed to be for assault, right.
Speaker 2 (01:45:27):
She like slapped somebody something.
Speaker 13 (01:45:28):
Immediately after the case, when she's doing the interview, one
of the people that were interviewing her was asked asking
if she was pregnant. She was upset and then threw
something out the guy so that immediately can get you
another assault case.
Speaker 16 (01:45:43):
Well, she's got a new album out here, which is
again this is part of my necess strategy. Maybe all
this is part two promoting her new album. What she
did by throwing a blanket out of the streets in
New York and selling her cities like this.
Speaker 2 (01:45:59):
Now why she was playing Bob Marley, I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:46:01):
They do.
Speaker 13 (01:46:02):
They're out there so I don't know. If you saw
the covers of those CDs, it was pretty funny. It
was photos of her from in court.
Speaker 2 (01:46:11):
And the best thing was.
Speaker 15 (01:46:13):
When she said that the girl was significantly heavier than
she was and the lawyer goes, how do you know that?
And she's pointed out her eyes.
Speaker 2 (01:46:20):
It works, Cardi B. Because we're gonna play some of
your new music. This is Greig.
Speaker 16 (01:46:23):
I'm prepared to be amazed by her new song Cardi B.
Imaginary players money mastats.
Speaker 2 (01:46:28):
This sham money. Your book is my makeup and ham money.
See I think I'm the han.
Speaker 9 (01:46:36):
No, you can't live.
Speaker 2 (01:46:38):
How about popany s? I'm a fan of her when
she speaks same there's a couple of songs I've heard
where she's been on it like, Oh, that's not bad
but me, Yeah, it just has a I'm not I'm
not a fan of her as an artist as much
as I am at her as a personality. Now Moddy
songs about how she has more money than her haters. Yes,
that's original, the original. You know what they should do.
(01:47:02):
If we really want to get to the bottom of
cancers and things like that or whatever, we should put
Little Tay and all these other people who are so
brilliant and strategic, we should put them in a room
and let them figure it out. Because if it is
for monetary gain, like imagine the money it's involved a
lot for cancer or world famous. Yeah, or like Greg's
(01:47:22):
big idea about the you know pill that locks in
the perfect haircut, Cardi B and Little Tay lock that
hair baby and Sophie Rain all together. You put all
those geniuses together, you'll knock it out.
Speaker 16 (01:47:36):
And he will call them a triple threat, like, oh,
she's a singer and a rapper and she's an actress
and she's on only fans. Well what what what does
she get her master's in biology?
Speaker 2 (01:47:47):
Right this week? And audio? All right, let's give me
something not with reality, anything other than that world. Please
kip over the lot and ice on. Let's go to
some actual science. Here's some actual science, menace. We may
have found life on Mars thanks to the mar I
read about this. Okay, well this is not read. This
(01:48:08):
is the announcement from NASA. All right, announcement from NASA
life on Mars.
Speaker 10 (01:48:12):
If we get this right, do we think this is
signs of ancient life on Mars. And after a year
of review, they've come back and they said, listen, we
can't find another explanation. So this very well could be
the clearest sign of life that we have ever found
on Mars.
Speaker 16 (01:48:32):
Now, what that is is not a blurry photo of
a missile hitting a balloon like we just saw on
Congress this week, which is garbage. It was small mineral
deposits on Mars that were shaped and are of such
a composition that, so far as we know, the only
way to make these mineral deposits is through like bacterial
depot like bacterial processes.
Speaker 2 (01:48:54):
And it looks like freckles on a rock exactly. That's
real science.
Speaker 1 (01:49:00):
Yeah.
Speaker 16 (01:49:01):
The the UFO garbage that you see all the time,
which is just blurry something of somebody shooting down a
drone or something.
Speaker 2 (01:49:06):
Yeah, that's fake. This is unfortunately real science is pretty boring.
Speaker 17 (01:49:09):
But you said no reality show. That was Sean Duffy,
who used to be on Road Rules.
Speaker 2 (01:49:15):
Escape It suck it. I give you this weekend audio.
All right, let's play this guy because I hate him
so much.
Speaker 8 (01:49:22):
This is a guy.
Speaker 2 (01:49:23):
He went into a Planet Fitness, which I love. I'm
a member of Planet Fitness. I've been to hundreds of
Planet No more free pizza though.
Speaker 16 (01:49:30):
They Uh, you know, he brings in his service animal,
which is a giant, like one hundred and twenty pound
kne corso.
Speaker 2 (01:49:35):
And but he's got a vest and unfortunately, this jackass
knows you can only get those vests through like official
medical sciences, not an Amazon or this guy.
Speaker 16 (01:49:42):
I'm gonna shop and pass around a photo of this guy.
He's he's a pretty buff dude. He doesn't know he's
not blind. You know, he doesn't have seizure disorders that
I'm aware of. He just likes walking into places with
his giant dog and videotaping himself doing workouts. Again, you
shouldn't be doing any time unless you're setting on one
thousand pounds a deadlift record. Now but he knows all
the verbiage. So when the Planet Fitness employee shuts him
(01:50:04):
down for his service dog, he does not like that.
Speaker 1 (01:50:07):
Explain to me what you just explained to me.
Speaker 2 (01:50:09):
There's no dogs about his general This isn't a this
is a service animal.
Speaker 17 (01:50:13):
It's a registered service animal. Have it the medical such
as city bring a dog with it.
Speaker 21 (01:50:17):
They have to allow people with service animals to enter
the building and to access their facility. If they do not,
then I consume them because they are breaking the law.
Speaker 2 (01:50:28):
Does that make sense.
Speaker 8 (01:50:30):
I'll take a lawsuit.
Speaker 2 (01:50:31):
Yeah, yeah, on, bring it on.
Speaker 16 (01:50:35):
Yeah, it's fine because this guy knows. This guy most
of the most service animals people are like menace. They
just they don't know what they're talking about. They'll say
emotional support. But this guy knows the language. And unfortunately
the law is written very broadly. So all he has
to do is say it's designed to perform a specific
medical task. They can't ask him what that.
Speaker 2 (01:50:50):
Is, right, If that's the thing, you should have to
disclose the medical task? If okay, so clearly you're a
you know, uh, he's a dude. Yeah, you're a physical law.
Unless it's like I need help making my way into
the gym because I can't see seeing eye dog or
something like that. I have seizure. Snip out my seizure, right, yeah, right,
imagine the size of the dumps on that. Oh that's
(01:51:11):
what I was thinking. You don't like that? All right,
We're gonna take a break more. When he shows next
hang up. With a little extra effort, I think we
can up our liability. They show will be right back fast.
The last little bit of this throwback Thursday, you guys,
Yeah yeah, insince. Today is the anniversary of September eleventh,
the actual September nine eleven. We're focusing on the year
(01:51:34):
two thousand and one today, which will include as we
go up in the club Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls.
He's the pride of Pacoima. He is a senior vice
president and managing partner of Club Turn Up Ladies and Gentlemen.
I give you el Presidente DJ Tim mar teenage, Yeah show, yeah,
(01:51:55):
you know what time it is? Yes, great to see you.
Busy a couple of weeks coming up and got the
iHeartRadio Muses festful next week, Yes, and you'll be here
for next Thursday. Yeah, yeah, I'm Okay, I'm in and
then I'm out. Yeah, yeah, same because yeah, yeah, that's
the same. Yeah, we're we got the whole weekend, you know,
working iHeart Radio Music Festival. We announced it, I think
four years ago. Yeah, you know, we talk about it
(01:52:18):
a lot. Now it's actually gonna it's actually gonna happen. Actually, well,
it's great to see you, Tim. I did want some
clarification because I mentioned this on the show, and I
was talking about how we were hanging out and you, uh,
you found that that picture of your wife and you
from the prom, the prom picture, wasn't it. And we
had a we had a very like adult dude conversation
about how as you get older, women, you guys start
(01:52:42):
having less and less power over us because that while
we are still interested in having sex with you at
all times, if for whatever reason, something happens and you
decide to pass or it's just not gonna happen, we're
okay with it. Okay, I'm all right right, I'm all right. Yeah.
And I mentioned this, said dude, Tim, because we're talking
about I said, Tim, this is like canceled plans. You
(01:53:04):
were looking forward to whatever it was. It's not like
a good idea when you committed to it, but then
now it's like, oh god, it's Friday, I just want
to kind of hang out. Yeah, and then so uh
canceled plans. Oh boy, you mean you got to watch
the Dodger game and have some pilomas, you know. Yeah,
but it's it's not a knock because I did want
to clarify my wife when we were having this conversation.
(01:53:24):
She's like, whata you don't like a Anie moreal like, no, no, no,
it has nothing to do with it. You and Veronica
is still very much in love, very much attracted to
each other. And it's not that it's just my low tea.
It's not it's not even that it's not it's I
don't know if you had a better way to explain it.
You know, you're explaining it just right.
Speaker 18 (01:53:43):
I'm just like, okay, cool, there's always next month.
Speaker 2 (01:53:48):
Yeah, that was always next month. I always thought it's cool.
I already hit that. Yeah, that's how that's what I say. Yeah,
I've been there, done that. That's fine, girl, don't worry
about I been there, done that. I read that chapter already.
You know what I'm saying, Like, it's all good and no,
don't get me wrong, I love that chapter. Sure, but
(01:54:09):
it's okay. Yeah, visit that chapter next month. And what
a far cry we are from. You know, back in
that time when you was telling the story, but he
was he is checking unlocked cars. Remember that time, Yeah,
because checking for unlocked cars. He was telling like going
down the memory lane story about like back in the day,
being at Magic Mountain and walking through the parking lot
(01:54:30):
and just being so horny trying to find an unlocked car.
Doors they can get in the back seat and do it.
Speaker 9 (01:54:34):
And they did.
Speaker 2 (01:54:35):
Yeah, shout up to the Magic Mountain man shot. Yeah, yeah,
not that you do that now as a responsible adult.
Now we responsible, we look for cars. Car No no offense, ladies,
no offense. You just carry less power.
Speaker 8 (01:54:53):
You know.
Speaker 2 (01:54:56):
It is you know, we do love you, We do
love you. Or maybe try swallowing those pills every once
in a while. Something you think about to the next chapter. Well,
it's throwback Thursday, Tien. As you heard, two thousand and
one is the theme today because of the anniversary of
nine eleven. These are all the songs that were big
and popular that year. You know when when when all
that happened?
Speaker 12 (01:55:16):
So we're just.
Speaker 2 (01:55:17):
Focusing on that one year today for the Throwback Thursday,
And what do you have for us?
Speaker 17 (01:55:20):
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:55:21):
This is this song actually came out in September of one.
Oh wow, how do you like that? Wow? So we're
going because there were so many songs that got pulled
off the radio station playlist. This one total club banger.
Speaker 18 (01:55:34):
You hear it nowadays, and it's I feel like it's
made its a full three sixty. I feel like when
it came out hot, kind of like it was always
around and.
Speaker 2 (01:55:45):
Then I think within like the last five years, maybe
even longer, this song here, this song, this is a dude,
a total gay anthem.
Speaker 17 (01:55:51):
Right wow?
Speaker 2 (01:55:53):
Yeah, sure, yeah, anyway you could once you hear it,
you tell me I'm wrong? Yeah, So two thousand and
one can't get you out of my head?
Speaker 1 (01:56:01):
What do you show.
Speaker 2 (01:56:06):
That's wrong? Stand right up in the clurb throw Back Thursday.
Hell yeah, up in the clurb. Let's throw Back Thursday.
(01:56:28):
That's from two thousand and one, Kylie Minogue.
Speaker 4 (01:56:32):
Go.
Speaker 2 (01:56:32):
Up until that point, the only song I knew from
her was The Locomotion. Oh yeah, she did. She did
the cover of the Locomotion, the Loco Motion. Yeah, yeah, yeah, right, yeah,
it was. That was that was a big hit too.
But wait before that one. DJ Tim Martinez. Yes, well
(01:56:55):
