Speaker 1 (00:31):
You're a doo doo ahead.
Speaker 7 (00:33):
We don't, we don't.
Speaker 8 (00:37):
One of our neighbors brought Jolly Ranchers over to the
house and they brought candy over to Chelsea and I,
which was wild.
Speaker 1 (00:45):
They they gave us a.
Speaker 8 (00:47):
Boot bag, and in their boo bag was literally candy
that you would buy at like a right aid. And
I don't even think they're in business anymore. I said
to Chelsea, I go, oh good, this is a boot bag.
We don't even have around here. So we don't even
have candy, you know, for around the house. I look
in the boot bag, it's like Brox candy.
Speaker 9 (01:06):
I'm like, this is a this is a boot truly
a boot bag bag.
Speaker 6 (01:11):
Little butterscotch ones though, because I do like those.
Speaker 1 (01:14):
They actually believe or not.
Speaker 9 (01:15):
You know, they had the little square caramels that you know,
pretty good, the clear wrapper.
Speaker 1 (01:21):
They are those are pretty good. This was all Grandma's candy.
Speaker 6 (01:25):
The strawberry ones you can keep that. It was strawberry ones.
Speaker 8 (01:29):
It was all grandma's candy. It was bad candy. The
strawberry ones are horrible? Are you like those?
Speaker 6 (01:33):
When I was little, I loved them, but they always
came from my grandma, the crusty bottom of my grandma's purse.
Speaker 9 (01:39):
Yeah, you about the gold wrapper. Those to this day
are still a fan favorite.
Speaker 10 (01:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:43):
I bought them at the dollar store last Sunday. Those
words Originals's. You think those are good?
Speaker 1 (01:50):
That's delicious favorite candy.
Speaker 8 (01:52):
You can tell that your grandma was such an influence
in your life because only kids who were raised by
grandma's are the ones that like candy.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
Like I feel like.
Speaker 9 (02:00):
If you got great taste buds, it doesn't matter, is
one of those candies. Whereas generation having Werthers in Shannon,
you guys both you see Shanny's granny have his grandmama grandmama.
You can tell that, you guys see for me, if
Grandma brought that over, I was booing it.
Speaker 8 (02:19):
I was like, give me some damn Snickers bars. I want,
you know, I want panut butter cos.
Speaker 9 (02:23):
Grandma do sneaks Snickers bars, and don't give me Grandma's
tutsi rolls. All right, So so okay, so here's a question,
and this is the honest question.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
I want to throw this out there.
Speaker 8 (02:34):
I want to ask the question, what's the candy that
everybody hates but you freaking love? Because all these candies
that you guys mentioned are candies that they give you
for free at places like It's not like they don't
put those in dishes for like those dumb dumb yes suckers.
I said to my kids one time, I go, don't
crab those dumb dumbs. Those are cheap crap candy. I
(02:57):
see that, tutsi rolls, you want twosy roll tutzy.
Speaker 9 (03:00):
No bougie taste has to be discussed, bro, dumb dums
are a great sat Why does the Coney Island put
dumb dums at the cash register? Because they're cheap, they're available,
and they're delicious, and who doesn't love them? They are cheap, cheap, cheap,
and they got a mango pineapple flavored that's out of his.
Speaker 8 (03:15):
World root beer or grape. Okay, speaking of that, I'm
gonna I'm gonna throw this out there. I just read
this a second ago and I thought, oh, this is
actually a good one for Shannon to do, as like
one of her last dirty stories. But I'll throw it
in now. Most people finish their candy before Halloween. American
(03:36):
consumers Americans consume their Halloween candy before the date even arrives.
On average, twice they have to go restock. Restocking their
candy is actually becoming more and more significant, And anybody
that buys their candy before October the twentieth are typically
the people that end up eating all their candy. So
(03:57):
if you bought your candy and you already have it,
a home guarantee you that you're eating that candy, I usually,
oh did you?
Speaker 11 (04:03):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:04):
So we're going to talk about this later.
Speaker 12 (04:05):
But I bowed my nephews and this weekend I had
already assembled the Boo baskets with a ton of candy
in it, and I gardened on Sunday.
Speaker 3 (04:13):
I ate all that candy out of the bak.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Wait? Is that is that a term for eating all
the candy out of the basket? You garden?
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Garden is what is like smoking weeds?
Speaker 2 (04:22):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (04:22):
Is that what?
Speaker 13 (04:23):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (04:23):
I'm like, I don't know. That's what you call smoking tiktoks.
You're not allowed to say it so sorry if I
if that.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
Was, I didn't Why did I not know that? I'm not.
I guess I'm not on tiktoking a little bit. Huh.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
I'm smoking the reefer.
Speaker 12 (04:34):
Yeah, that's all the candy had to restock right before
I boot them.
Speaker 8 (04:38):
But we give me a favor. Will you write that
down as a topic for us at another time.
Speaker 9 (04:43):
The euphemisms like TikTok terms with mojo.
Speaker 8 (04:46):
Yeah, well you I want to know all the different
forms of people talking about smoking weed, like you know
what I mean? Like this that drop smoking the reefer
was reefer was kind of like something that was when
I was younger.
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Is I called reefer? It's not called reefer anymore? But
I like this.
Speaker 8 (05:02):
Roling Doobies is another one too, Rolling the old Doobies
eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six sixty

Speaker 9 (05:11):
Eight four four sixty six five six five four eight.
You're eating all your candy, you got to call us up.
If you like crappy candy, like these guys like crappy candy,
you got to call us up. I feel like if
you if you buy the family size bag, if you
buy the value bag, whether it's all one candy or
if it's an assortment of candy. The moment you opened
(05:33):
that bag and you have access to the individual candies,
care screwed. Yeah, Like that's when you start eating it.
You got to keep the family bag sealed. But here's
here's the deal, Kevin. You know which candy is the
worst of all the candy and the family bag by
the ones that are left in the absolutely and the
worst the ones are the dark chocolate. Going to say,
it's anything dark chocolate, heat, anything with almonds, anything that puts,
(05:56):
you know, almonds in there. Oh my god, Eric, here's
the topic. Everybody hates this candy, but I love it.
Speaker 1 (06:03):

Speaker 1 (06:25):

Speaker 7 (06:27):
You know?
Speaker 1 (06:28):
You know how bad that candy is. They sell it
only a dollar stores.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
That's how bad that can drug star all the drug stores.
Speaker 9 (06:34):

Speaker 8 (06:39):

How does how does the computer algorithms know? Do they
just go to everybody? It says, according to popular opinions,
probably the same way? So you harbadly get his answers

Speaker 1 (06:54):
The answer is there. You go circus?
Speaker 3 (06:57):
Uh say the number one on there too?
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You were what's the number one?
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Candy corn?
Speaker 1 (07:03):
Candy corn?
Speaker 6 (07:08):
And I love the big pumpkin candy corn.
Speaker 9 (07:12):

got a bunch for us, Cassie.
Speaker 14 (07:18):
I'm in love with holiday candy, Holliday.
Speaker 15 (07:23):

I love all those and echoes.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Candy first, necho way first.
Speaker 2 (07:32):

Speaker 9 (07:33):
Do you do you also love at Easter time eating peeps?
Speaker 17 (07:37):

Speaker 1 (07:40):

that everybody egged his house would give.
Speaker 1 (07:50):

Speaker 16 (07:53):
I said that I love Toblon and Andy's mint.
Speaker 8 (07:56):
Oh, that's it a toblone, aren't they? Aren't those bougie

in the Are they yellow packaging or something gold?
Speaker 1 (08:07):
The andies min's are andes mince, the ones of the green. Uh.
Speaker 8 (08:10):
Can I tell you if a restaurant has those things
in a bowl, I grab handfuls of them.
Speaker 6 (08:14):
You know what restaurant I love? Yes, those pastel buttery
mints that usually if you go to like a Mom
and Pop Old Lady Coney Island, they have a plastic spoon.
Speaker 18 (08:25):
In the bowl.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Ye, those mins.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
I love those.
Speaker 8 (08:29):
There's a place by my house called Lake's Grill. And
I'm not gonna lie to you. I think they're gonna
go out of business. This is no offense to them
from me stealing their andies men's. I go in there
all the time, and when they go get my carry
out order in the back, I take the whole thing
and I dump them in my pocket and stuff. And
then they come out and the girl looks all the time, going,
you got mince falling out of your pocket as you're
(08:50):
walking to your car?
Speaker 1 (08:51):

Speaker 6 (09:12):
It's my favorite jelly beans, the black ones. Really, yes,
the black.
Speaker 16 (09:15):
Ones are the best.
Speaker 19 (09:16):
I'm with you, Shannon.
Speaker 20 (09:17):
That's all I ever wanted in my basket was a
black jelly bean.
Speaker 7 (09:20):
Same.
Speaker 8 (09:20):
That is crazy. I can't believe that you eat that stuff.
That's the stuff that I would like. Eh, God, you know,
uh that was the stuff.
Speaker 16 (09:27):
I was going to say one more, but I don't
want to.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
Prompt them to call ahead.
Speaker 21 (09:31):
But this is an old grow back one.
Speaker 16 (09:33):
Squirrel nuts. I love squirrel nuts.
Speaker 7 (09:35):
I've never heard of candy.
Speaker 22 (09:36):
You know.
Speaker 8 (09:37):
It's by the way, did you just say something that
you call your weed squirrel nuts?
Speaker 1 (09:42):
I've never heard of squirrel nuts before, never in my life.
Speaker 23 (09:45):
It's a candy.
Speaker 16 (09:45):
They're little square candies and they have a peanut buttery taste.
They're called squirrel nuts.
Speaker 1 (09:50):
It looked like rappool.
Speaker 16 (09:51):
So you and I are the same, mate. The younger
ones can.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
Remember, I never take it.
Speaker 1 (09:55):
Yeah, can I tell you something?
Speaker 8 (09:57):
You know how you know how bad the candies are
that you just said, they're the ones that your friend's
mom kept out all the time because she didn't have
to worry that they were going to actually beat and
nobody ever wanted them.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
Liz, what's going on?
Speaker 22 (10:10):
Hi?
Speaker 24 (10:11):
Yeah, so good morning, first time, long time, good morning.
Speaker 25 (10:17):
Okay, So mine is a throwbag.
Speaker 24 (10:19):

And the reason why is because my grandpa and I U.
Speaker 13 (10:26):
See those all the time.
Speaker 11 (10:27):
They were his favorites.
Speaker 8 (10:28):

fun of that when you're talking about your Graham. His
Grandpa's still alive. He is not God rest his soul.
He's now in heaven eating better candies than Reasons. He's
got a big ass nest Leige crunch bar. I love,
by the way, Nestlie crunch bars. Why do you not
(10:49):

Speaker 6 (11:03):

used to put those in the freezer.
Speaker 9 (11:08):
I loved those Charleston choose and then they would come along.
Speaker 8 (11:12):
Yes, literally, like really really long. Guys would beat each
other over the heads with those things. It's so funny
to think of all this candy, about how bad this
candy is. But then if you go to one of
those stores that sells like vintage.
Speaker 9 (11:25):
Candies, Doc swe is the best. Yeah, there was one.
There was so Clawson's got one. There was one that
used to be in Birmingham. I don't know if it's
still there. That used to be good not.
Speaker 6 (11:34):
We always go to Doc Sweets. They have like all
the nostalgic candy and it's all separated by color. Yes,
it's cute.
Speaker 8 (11:43):
What's the candy store that's in the mall, the one
that's on like the third level. Did they still have
that one there?
Speaker 6 (11:48):
Yes, but it's it used to be Sweet Factory, it's
not anymore. I don't know what it's called them. We
used to go to that place, and I'm not going
to lie to you. I would spend more money there
than I would at North It's a ripoff.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
It's crazy. We would go there.
Speaker 8 (12:00):
I would bring the kids, so Chelsea would go shopping,
and the kids never wanted to go shopping. So she'd like,
go take them to and I'd go get them and
take them there. My kids legit would go inside there
the build there and bring me up. They go, ah,
that's two hundred dollars.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
It's like twenty dollars a pound or something.

Speaker 7 (12:34):
Okay, I just know the Justice Department.
Speaker 18 (12:37):
I mean, I think this was an objective fact.
Speaker 7 (12:39):
They've made him a very.
Speaker 26 (12:40):

The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 1 (14:18):
By Shannon with What's training in the dirty on the
thirty Good Morning, Sham.
Speaker 6 (14:21):
Good morning, and starting off with Lion's defensive back Brian
Brand being suspended by the NFL for one game for
his role in that post game browl on Sunday when
he struck Juju Smith Schuster with a bloat of the face,
sparking this little altercation between some players, the league calling
his action aggressive, entirely unwarranted and beyond beyond the bounds
(14:45):
of sportsman instep both in between the.
Speaker 1 (14:47):
Play and revs. Don't catch it if you like I'm
trying to bully me out, Dari.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
I shouldn't have did it those chocks.
Speaker 6 (14:58):
So he will miss the line in next game Monday
Night Football or matchup against the Buccaneers and lose his
pay for that game as well. Now this morning he
is saying he plans to appeal that suspension.
Speaker 8 (15:11):
Which there is a chance his appeal will not be
heard before Monday Night Football.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
So why would that be the case.
Speaker 8 (15:17):
There is a chance that they and if that happens,
he does not that he might be on the field
on Monday Night Football.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
So if he appeals, so him appealing.
Speaker 8 (15:25):
It has to go before the commissioner, and obviously they
have their you know, people that are in their disciplinary
I think it will be heard beforehand because I think it.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
Was such a it was on nightly news last night.
Like I was shocked.
Speaker 8 (15:38):
I was watching last night a lot of the coverage
of the hostages being released, and all of a sudden,
I'm listening to David Muir, and David Muir goes and
this NFL player gets his punishment and I'm like, holy crap.
That was like literally one of their big stories. Yeah,
and that's what happens when you play against the Chiefs.
If this had it happened against any other team, I
(15:59):
guarantee the story wouldn't be as big as what it is.
Speaker 6 (16:01):
I agree with you.
Speaker 8 (16:02):
So did you get a chance to see every one
of the memes that came out yesterday of all of
the stuff. Did you see the AI press conferences? Dan
Campbell might be one of my favorites, So they did, Dan.
So you know how they everybody's got the pictures of
you know, the referees wearing Chiefs uniforms and stuff. They
were doing AI ones where it's AI Patrick Mahomes going
(16:25):
you know, I really hate the Lions and blah blah
blah blah blah, and I'm you know, and but the
Patrick mahomes.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
How he.
Speaker 8 (16:36):
And then they had Dan Campbell's and Dan Campbell was
so great because it sounded so much like him, and
it was him basically talking about how, uh, what's his name?
Is a fat punk ass and he read, oh my god,
I'll send.
Speaker 6 (16:52):
It to It was great, so Taylor says. New album,
The Life of a Showgirl debuted no surprise, herenumber one
on the Billboard two hundred chart. It moved just over
four million equivalent album units in its first week, with
three point four to eight million in physical and digital sales.
Those numbers beat the first week record previously held by
(17:16):
Adele's twenty five, so Taylor is on top. She now
has fifteen number one albums, tying her past peers and
making her the solo artist with the second most number ones.
She has only been beaten by the Beatles. She has
also set to release two Disney Plus projects linked to
this era, a six episode docu series and then a
(17:37):
concert film called The Final Show, both tied to the
eras tour. She made that announcement yesterday.
Speaker 30 (17:44):
The Era's tour wasn't when all the pieces fell into place.
This tour was just when every single one of us
who had done so much work.
Speaker 18 (17:54):
Pushing inch by inch to where we all clicked together.
Speaker 6 (18:01):
And ending on a very heartwarming story. Powerball winner Edwin Castro,
he won the two point well two billion dollar jackbot
just over two billion bucks back in twenty twenty two,
is using a good chunk of his new fortune to
help completely rebuild his hometown of Altadena, California, after those
(18:23):
devastating wildfires. He has spent millions upon millions of dollars
buying burned lots, plans to rebuild homes for families, keeping
the original craftsman style, and selling the homes to locals
rather than developers. And he said it's his way of
giving back and preserving the community where he grew up
a great story.
Speaker 8 (18:43):
So doing it for the good, not doing it to
invest in make a ton of money.
Speaker 1 (18:49):
I don't know, obviously, when you get the details, I
think right now he could still make.
Speaker 18 (18:55):
It's smart.
Speaker 8 (18:57):
Smart, And I'm looking at it myself, Okay, is he
donating fully or is this his way of saying, I'm
going to turn that money. By the way, baby, let's
have him get Josiah's ninety dollars.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Here you God, he give me. By the way, the
market was huge yesterday morning.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
That I'm sending Josiah updates on the market every single day.

Speaker 1 (19:52):

Speaker 16 (19:56):
Oh you know, I'm from the East side of Michigan.
Speaker 32 (19:58):

Speaker 1 (20:39):

Speaker 8 (20:39):

would be a great little twist.
Speaker 34 (20:44):

Speaker 27 (20:45):
Actually, I actually just released a new song on the
ninth with a local artists from Lansing.
Speaker 1 (20:52):

Speaker 6 (23:35):

You only got one? Right, Elijah?
Speaker 7 (23:39):
Why Jesus Christ?
Speaker 1 (23:41):
I met some dumb bastards.
Speaker 36 (23:42):
In my time.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
But you out all right? Are you just gotta be?
We'll see. Let's see you think they? Do you think

Speaker 6 (23:53):

Speaker 8 (23:56):
All right, here we go, Question number one. Question number one.
Alec Baldwin crashed his car into a tree yesterday in
the Hamptons. What was the name of the TV show
he starred on opposite Tina Fay and Tracy.
Speaker 1 (24:10):
Morgan thirty Rock?
Speaker 4 (24:12):

Taylor Swift announced a six part eras toward documentary yesterday.
Where can Swifties watch it?

Speaker 1 (24:27):

and cool for the summer singer's one night only show
in Los Angeles sold out in under twenty minutes.
Speaker 1 (24:41):
Who is she? Give mee Levado?
Speaker 6 (24:43):

Speaker 8 (24:45):
Question four Brian Branch has been suspended for one game
following the postgame brawl during the Lions Chiefs game.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
What position does Branch play?
Speaker 11 (24:58):
A linebacker?
Speaker 2 (25:00):
No?
Speaker 8 (25:01):
Both you guys missed that one. I'm surprised that Elijah
missed that one. Defensive back. And question number five, what's
the name of the classic nineties Halloween movie that Bette
Midler started with a trio of witches that wreek havoc
on residents of Salem, Massachusetts.
Speaker 6 (25:23):
There we go three to one, final score.
Speaker 1 (25:27):
There you go? What's up? Nikki High? Hi, Nikki?
Speaker 2 (25:35):
Hey?
Speaker 1 (25:36):
What's going on? Would you call for?
Speaker 21 (25:38):
Oh?
Speaker 22 (25:38):
I was?
Speaker 37 (25:39):
You don't know?
Speaker 17 (25:40):
Not no answer, especially the last one.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
That's a classic, the best bee for Halloween.
Speaker 8 (25:48):
Yeah, but you know what, though it's early, it's early
in the morning. The guy doubles, he's got double shifts.
He works construction, and he's a musicians all right, and
a full time dad. All right, We're not going to
get angry with people. It's Tuesday, and I want to
actually feel some love. We've got Arabis haunted house passes
(26:11):
for you. Eli Ya wants you to hang on the phone. Okay,
we'll get you all right.
Speaker 4 (26:16):
Hold on Detroit.
Speaker 9 (26:25):
Three great stations, one stupid show.
Speaker 1 (26:30):
This is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 8 (26:32):
Lie, it is Mojo in the Morning. Good to have
you guys here. I think we're coming up on like
homecoming times. You know, kids in school are going to
their homecoming dances. And the reason I know this is
every one of the friends of mine's kids who are
going to homecoming have been posting the pictures of their
(26:55):
kids with their homecoming dates. And I have an observation
that I would like to bring up right now, And
if you'd like to participate in this, you can. If not,
you can, you know, just listen intently, especially if you're
a high school kid.
Speaker 1 (27:09):
I want to ask this question.
Speaker 8 (27:12):
Why is it that I've noticed that all of the
girls that are going to homecoming, their dresses are basically
up to their vaginas.
Speaker 1 (27:22):
Okay, they're very very short.
Speaker 8 (27:26):
And the boys, if you have a son that's going
to homecoming, or maybe you are this boy, the boys
do not match.
Speaker 1 (27:33):
The girls that are going to homecoming.
Speaker 6 (27:35):
Wait, wait, what do you mean?
Speaker 3 (27:36):
By that.
Speaker 8 (27:37):
The boys all look like their hair is like something
that they're going to regret when they're later in life.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
It's awful. The boy's hair is awful right now.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
It is unbelievable.
Speaker 8 (27:48):
So I was scrolling through this weekend is going through
like I don't know, its Facebook probably or Instagram, I
think it was both, and I'm coming upon you know,
some pictures, and in some cases I would see pictures
where it was like my buddy's sons, and I would
end up liking them because I would see just the boys,
and then I'd have to go back and unlike them
because I'd scroll through the pictures and see that in
(28:10):
the second photos it'd be their dates, and their dates
were wearing outfits that I got, to be honest with
you made me blush. I'm like, holy crap, these are
high school girls. So I had to unlike them because
I didn't want anybody thinking I was liking these girls
pictures and not my buddies.
Speaker 1 (28:25):
Boy you know sons.
Speaker 8 (28:27):
And then I started like, keep going through these things,
and I've got buddies of mine that a lot of
buddies that have daughters, and I'm looking at him, going
that's Ellie, you can't wear that outfit right, is what
is going on? Glow bubbles, I know, and I know
their dads are very protective dads, and I totally get it.
(28:48):
And then I start looking at Okay, let's see who
she went with on the date or the dance. And
I look at him, going, Ellie, you could do so
much better. That kid hasn't had a haircut in days,
or if he's had a haircut, that broccoli things got
to go away.
Speaker 1 (29:03):
Went away, like two years ago.
Speaker 6 (29:04):
My stepdaughter, Samantha's a high school junior and she went
with girlfriends this year. And I even said to her, oh, good,
your pictures will be good this year because you're not
gonna have a boy in the picture because the boys
with the broccoli hair ruin the photos.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
DIDJA have to have a conversation with her about her
dress at all?
Speaker 6 (29:20):
No, I so I was just pulling up Her dress
was very I think it was very appropriate this year.
Speaker 1 (29:26):
That's pretty dress. Yeah, it was very appropriate.
Speaker 6 (29:28):
But definitely girls I keep seeing, I keep seeing this
trend of not only are they short and you can
see like the bottom of the underwear basically, but they
have this thing where it like they go up in
the middle. It's like a wrap almost, do you know
what I'm talking about? And so it makes it even
more noticeable that that's where your focus is.
Speaker 8 (29:49):
One of my buddies is like he is literally like
the most protective dad. And I said to him, I go, hey,
I saw you know, went to a homecoming and he goes,
I can't mom picked out that dress picked it out? Well,
I think mom was there when she was buying the dress.
So he's blaming it on mom. What's up, Michelle?
Speaker 13 (30:08):
Hi o, I clearly agree with you.
Speaker 38 (30:12):
I have four boys and only one daughter, and her
all her homecoming dresses.
Speaker 21 (30:17):
She couldn't even sit down.
Speaker 1 (30:19):
I was wondering about that.
Speaker 9 (30:21):
That has to be kind's ridiculous when you sit down
in a dress like that, because when I you know, where.
Speaker 6 (30:26):
You wear your dresses.
Speaker 8 (30:28):
When I wear, well, I wear my shorts. So I'm
wearing shorts much shorter than I used to wear. I
used to wear the ten inch ones and the eight
inch ones. I'm in the four inch ones, the four
inch ones sometimes four. These are for these are lucklick.
Look at that.
Speaker 1 (30:42):
Four showing up. Now that's a four.
Speaker 25 (30:45):
What happened?
Speaker 24 (30:45):
What happened to the etiquette of everything goes down to
your knees.
Speaker 32 (30:48):
That's acceptable.
Speaker 6 (30:49):
Well, that's that's like a grandma. But I felt like
there's a happy medium.
Speaker 8 (30:54):
I'm okay with it being above the knee. I just
wanted to be above the vagina next year, you know
what I mean?
Speaker 1 (31:01):
What's up, Mary?
Speaker 37 (31:02):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (31:02):
How you doing?
Speaker 2 (31:04):
So?
Speaker 30 (31:04):
I have a fifteen year old.
Speaker 16 (31:05):
She's pretty modest.
Speaker 14 (31:06):
She wears like.
Speaker 30 (31:07):
Nike prolls under her dresses and stuff. But we have
a same back to school shopping homecoming. If you if
the priest was standing right here, or the Second Coming
or Christ and Jesus was in front of us, would
you wear that in front of us?
Speaker 39 (31:20):
And if they say yes, he always she always says,
I'll go back and change.
Speaker 8 (31:24):
I said, yeah, you know what, And I don't want it.
You know, I don't want to make this Handmaid's tale
where we're wrapping them up, you know what I mean?
Speaker 37 (31:33):
But I want them to be Oh no, she she
I let her dress modestly, but not like from the
eighteen hundred Little Help on the Prairie.
Speaker 2 (31:45):
Right.
Speaker 6 (31:45):
We had a role at our school where it was
if it was for any skirt you wore or any
dress for a dance and it just had to go
to the bottom of your fingertips. That was the shortest
short arms and you're lucky and you could show your cheeks.
Speaker 8 (31:58):
Yes, Courtney, then you dated them. I was about to say,
I love you. What's going on, Courtney?
Speaker 16 (32:03):
Hi, good morning, Happy Tuesday.
Speaker 40 (32:07):
I feel like a lot of the dresses I've been
seeing look like lingerie to me. They have like a
broad top and like a silk bottom, and it looks
so inappropriate. And I always tell my kids like, I'm
a young, cool mom. And then when we're like going
through pictures because it's like the dance team and so
my daughter wants to see and I'm like, well that's inappropriate,
and now I'm losing my cool points because it's not
(32:28):
very cool.
Speaker 8 (32:29):
So quick question for you. When you see these things,
do you make a comment or because that was the thing.
As a dad, I can't comment, But I wonder if
the moms ever say anything like beautiful dress or do
you say that in any of the posts.
Speaker 40 (32:45):
No, I don't because I just I can't lie at
it looking cute and it's not.
Speaker 9 (32:51):
I listenally say, you can't say anything as a dad though,
because I don't want it to look like I'm like
a purf, Like I don't even want them to know
that I saw their actual posts because I'm like I said,
you blush, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Wait till Josiah starts.
Speaker 8 (33:05):
Going to school with some of these, you know girls
for dances and stuff like that. Like all the boys
have gone to dances, and I've always tried to make
it a point of you know, our boys have had
good you know, even my gay son had had great
looking girls that he went to to prom with. And
you would always be like, boy, you guys are such
(33:26):
a cute couple, you know what I mean. Like you'd
always try to keep it like that. Some of these
dresses would make me go, I.
Speaker 1 (33:30):
Don't know if I want to say that.
Speaker 9 (33:31):
I don't know, but if you had a daughter and
she had a short dress, would you feel comfortable telling
her that that's too short to wear?
Speaker 1 (33:37):
I'd say, Chelsea, handle that? Can I tell you?
Speaker 9 (33:40):
I say, like, as a dad, why can't you had
a conversation with your daughter without it being looked at like, well,
it's crazy.
Speaker 8 (33:45):
If you're a dad of a daughter, I'm sure you
you know, probably are, but I think some of these
guys probably defer to their moms, you know. Can I
say something of the boys though, I will go on
record to say this, none of my boys have ever
had a haircut that embarrassed the hell out of me.
Like if Luke was one of the ones with the
longest hair, and he actually had long hair, but his
hair kind of looked kind of coolish. If my kid
(34:08):
looked like some of these kids nowadays. These boys are
good looking boys. What are these moms doing letting these
boys get style? It's the style for the boys haird.
Speaker 9 (34:19):
It's so bad. Yeah, they like got mullets and it's
so bad.
Speaker 6 (34:24):
I will say this about the girls though. I love
looking at homecoming photos and I think all the girls
are just so beautiful, and I keep thinking to myself,
I did not look like this high school. These girls
are next level stunning. It's just like I look at
my high school homecoming photos and I'm like, Jesus, I
(34:47):
hope these never see the light of day. But all
these girls are just so pretty.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
They are gorgeous girls, and the boys do not match
like there.
Speaker 8 (34:54):
I'm sure these boys are good looking, handsome guys, but
they don't matche any of these girls.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
Megan was up, Good morning.
Speaker 6 (35:02):
Guys, Morning morning.
Speaker 11 (35:04):
I I'm a boy mom and a couple of weeks ago,
I took my kids shop or I took my son's
girlfriend homecoming dress shopping.
Speaker 19 (35:12):
I haven't been.
Speaker 11 (35:13):
Homecoming dress shopping since I was in high school, which
is a really long time ago. Oh my gosh, dress.
Speaker 32 (35:18):
I was like, why are they so short?
Speaker 2 (35:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (35:22):
But did you, as not the mom of the girl,
did you say that to her? Or did you just
let her pick what?
Speaker 11 (35:29):
She's not like that at all. She I helped her
pick a dress and it was totally not inappropriate.
Speaker 1 (35:37):
Why were you doing it? Where was her mom?
Speaker 11 (35:40):
She unfortunately doesn't.
Speaker 16 (35:41):
Have a mom.
Speaker 1 (35:42):
So okay, so that's nice you did do that.
Speaker 8 (35:45):
Incredible fact, as a mom of a son who's dating her,
are you thinking to yourself, I want my son to
be with the hottest girl hair or I'm thinking I
want my son to not be tempted.
Speaker 32 (35:59):
Uh be tempted exactly?
Speaker 1 (36:02):
I know.
Speaker 8 (36:03):
That's that's honestly how I always felt. I'm like, you
not get a girl pregnant homecoming?
Speaker 41 (36:09):
Right?
Speaker 1 (36:10):
Cody? What's that hair called? Have you ever seen the tiktoks.
Speaker 8 (36:20):
Go go look at the ol packa hair tiktoks.
Speaker 1 (36:23):
They're amazing.
Speaker 8 (36:26):
My favorite is you see the high school boy in those,
and I'm thinking if that was my son, I'd be
embarrassed my kids in one of those. Hold on one second, Mike,
what did you want to say?
Speaker 36 (36:36):
I want to say welcome. First of all, mo Jode
the group. Have you ever been to a swimming meet
in high school?
Speaker 1 (36:43):
Swimmat No, my kids never swam.
Speaker 36 (36:46):
You take your breath away, really, you know, what do
you mean? Have you seen the suits to.
Speaker 42 (36:55):
Keep regularly?
Speaker 6 (36:58):
Is this a lester here, Bruce Sharp, listen, you know,
I like, really am curious what you mean.
Speaker 9 (37:05):
You're saying that they that they show these girls show
off a lot more seconds.
Speaker 36 (37:10):
Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh. Okay, I know, I
know those bloomer pammies are gone, but good gosh, I'm
telling you these.
Speaker 6 (37:18):
Are you they're all just competitive swim.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
Are you a grandpa with these kids or what?
Speaker 2 (37:23):
Are you?
Speaker 36 (37:23):
Absolutely?
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Okay?
Speaker 36 (37:25):
What my grandma and I think med and grandma go
and I watched them kids and just I can't believe it.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
You know, hey, thanks my thanks for coming.
Speaker 29 (37:40):
Tell me about how we cheated on you five times
already and is doing it again. I know the world
famous war the Roses Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 8 (37:49):
All right, where the Roses is coming up here in
just a little bit. It's Mojo in the Morning show. Uh,
Haunted House Trauma, you are the worst I know.
Speaker 6 (38:01):
Okay, all right, I do not like haunted houses. If
you've listened to the show for any amount of time,
you know this, Anna, you're new. I've gone through Haunted
House for the show because I was forced to. But
I don't like scary movies. I don't like haunted houses.
And this is very, very deeply rooted. And so last
(38:22):
night at dinner when myself and my husband and my
stepdaughter were all talking and my stepdaughter Samantha said, I'm
going to my first haunted house this weekend, and I thought,
oh god, she I don't think she's gonna get through it.
Speaker 1 (38:36):
She also scared. These are she got more.
Speaker 6 (38:40):
I think she's I think she's braver than I am.
But I like, she doesn't know what it's all about.
It's her first time, she's never done it. And so
it got us talking about Haunted House trauma and why
I don't go through haunted houses. And it stems back
to when I was about eight years old. My step
grandparents at the time lived in Marion, Indiana, We're talking
(39:03):
the country, and took us to a haunted house that
was in the basement of their church, so pictures of
Jesus and crosses everywhere, and like Freddy Krueger coming out
of Oh my god, the kids nursery rooms. But then
they chased us to our car with chainsaws.
Speaker 1 (39:20):
Indiana.
Speaker 6 (39:21):
So at eight years old, I'm never going to a
haunted house again after that.
Speaker 4 (39:25):
Oh my god, Oh my god.
Speaker 6 (39:28):
And then West tells his haunted house trauma story, which
I didn't know until last night, and he was talking
about how also right around the same age, eight nine
years old, his dad, who he did not have a
good relationship with. His dad was not a good nice person,
brought little West with him on a date to a
(39:49):
haunted house and West didn't want to go through the
haunted house. Started to cry, like Dad, please do not
make me do this, and his dad forced him to
go through the haunted house, said, you know they have
a safe word, just say the safe word if you
need to get out. But his dad and his date
went up ahead and went through the haunted house.
Speaker 1 (40:06):
You left them alone?
Speaker 6 (40:07):
Yes, so Wes said, he was screaming the safe ward.
Nobody heard him, so he bawled himself up into a
corner and cried, Well, scary clowns kept coming over and
hackling him, and that's where his fear of clowns comes
from now. But was there for a good ten minutes
(40:27):
before some random guy came over and walked him out
and reunited him with his dad. So both of us
hate haunted houses for I feel like very good reasons.
But anybody who hates a haunted house probably has a
story of something that happened to them. Let's has caused
that trauma.
Speaker 8 (40:45):
Let's hear yours eight four to forur Joe live eight
four four six sixty five sixty five four eight if
you've you've had that before. So after you and Samantha's
dad are telling this to her, she's still going to.
Speaker 1 (40:58):
A haunted house.
Speaker 6 (40:58):
Well, she's still going because all her friends are going,
and she doesn't want to be the one that says,
I I don't want.
Speaker 8 (41:03):
To go because I've I've gone through haunted houses that
I thought were legit scary. Most of them I feel
like you kind of know what's happening and about to happen.
Like most of them I think are kind of cheesy.
The thing I hated haunted houses are when the actors
like think that they can touch you or do things
to you, Like I just don't like that at all.
Speaker 6 (41:22):
I'm just a very startily person in general. Yeah, do
you want to feel like if you come through the
door and I don't know you're about to come through
the door, I scream, I jumped.
Speaker 8 (41:32):
Shannon, don't go through this was This was one of
the most iconic moments that we've had on our show
where we made Shannon go through a hunted house.
Speaker 1 (41:40):
Where was that haunted house?
Speaker 6 (41:41):
It wasn't Wyott. It was the wind at Jc's And
somebody gave me, I think up five hundred bucks donation
to breaking and entering Christmas if I went through it.
So I was like, Okay, I.
Speaker 1 (41:49):
Need to do it. You want to make it a thousand?
Here we go?
Speaker 43 (41:53):
No, that a shame crying, right, I Mean that's Likeliha
to bring an extra pair of jeans.
Speaker 12 (42:13):
I feel like some of these haunted houses have gotten
like too legitimately, Like these are situations I could see
myself in Like I went to Arabis one year and
it was a car driving at and I was like,
I feel like, this is real life.
Speaker 3 (42:26):
This is not a person in a costume.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
How did they get the car in there? What's up? Elizabeth?
Speaker 7 (42:31):
Hi?
Speaker 11 (42:33):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 13 (42:34):
My father took me to a haunted house when I
was little and I was like clawing my hands into
his neck because I was so afraid. And one of
the haunted house employees like wanted to come and calm
my nerves, said, hey, it's okay. So he pulled off
his like wearbolf mask, which made me think immediately he
was actually pulling off a fit face.
Speaker 1 (42:55):
Oh that's awful, man.
Speaker 8 (43:00):
Some of these Haunted house actors are so good and
their makeup is so good.
Speaker 3 (43:06):
Scare school.
Speaker 1 (43:07):
Yeah, what's up, kim?
Speaker 17 (43:09):
Hey?
Speaker 39 (43:10):
When I was younger, I was in a haunted house
with some of my friends. I think I was probably
under ten or something, and I twisted my knees in
the haunted house and they had to turn the house
lights on and I was carried out by like a
werewolf or something like that.
Speaker 10 (43:26):
So that that is my trauma.
Speaker 8 (43:28):
Oh it's the worst, isn't it. You injure yourself at
the Haunted House. I don't pay money tearing acl or
something if I'm not in her group and the lights game.
Speaker 1 (43:41):
What what's up, Jenny? How you doing? Hey?
Speaker 24 (43:45):
Good morning guys.
Speaker 37 (43:45):
How are you good?
Speaker 1 (43:47):
You got injured at the Haunted House too?
Speaker 19 (43:50):
I did.
Speaker 24 (43:50):
I was probably about ten eleven years old, and I
went with some friends and my parents, and my friend
had jumped back because she got scared of something that
popped out. Well, she elbowed me the lip and I
started bleeding it, busting my lip open. There's blood all
over the place, but everybody like nobody noticed. One it
was too loud they couldn't hear me yelling. And then
two they just thought it was part of the decorations because.
Speaker 37 (44:11):
There was blood.
Speaker 24 (44:12):
So just at the end of it, I come out
and there's blood everywhere, And then finally people realize that
it was not part of the show.
Speaker 1 (44:19):
It was real blood.
Speaker 8 (44:20):
My favorites are when you go into these haunted houses,
and I've learned this from going with Jacob so much,
because Jacob studies this whole thing. My favorite is knowing
where the people are ahead of time before you get
scared by them, and having that already because Jake will
say to you right left, right, left, like he can
tell like where they are, because they usually come out
(44:42):
at you at spots. And Jake would always tell me
he goes, when you're going in a room and as
you're going through the room, look left because that's where
typically they're going to be. They don't ever jump out right.
Huh see, I don't like that.
Speaker 9 (44:57):
That's the worst part about going to hunted houses on
extra only popular weekends is that they're so packed undred house.
You're doing somebody job of like putting groups five minutes ahead,
but you can hear the people scream before you get
around the corner.
Speaker 1 (45:09):
At the throw.
Speaker 8 (45:10):
In a lot of cases, if you know, they always
say is the first person's gonna get scared. It's not
the first person that gets it. It's usually the last
person that will get it.
Speaker 9 (45:18):
In some cases, like knowing where to walk through, put
me in the middle and surround me me and I'm
still going to keep my guys close.
Speaker 8 (45:25):
Sam worked at a hunted house. So you were one
of the characters at the hunted house and what happened?
Speaker 1 (45:29):
Sam?
Speaker 7 (45:31):
Hi?
Speaker 23 (45:32):
Yeah, So I worked at a hunter house and it
was the best job ever, just so you know.
Speaker 44 (45:38):
And there was a gentleman and then he came in
with like I said, they were on a date.
Speaker 23 (45:42):
With a girl. I jumped out and I scared him
so bad he peated sands.
Speaker 1 (45:48):
Oh, you just ruined that guy's chance of getting laid
that night.
Speaker 4 (45:52):
You understand that maybe I made it better because then
he has.
Speaker 1 (45:58):
That is true.
Speaker 8 (45:59):
Uh, misty, what happened, mistery? She can get away with that.
You don't usually touch these guys. That's funny, That is great.
Go with Grandma. Grandma will keep you safe.
Speaker 11 (46:16):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (46:16):
In Dallas, we were talking about the chainsaw chasing Shannon
out to the car. Chainsaws are usually the worst thing
ever because the sound of them makes you scared.
Speaker 1 (46:25):
Yeah, what's up?
Speaker 45 (46:26):
Oh, absolutely, especially if they really go into character.
Speaker 1 (46:31):
I was about seven or eight.
Speaker 30 (46:32):
My mom took me to a little haunted house in
the neighborhood and this guy, he was in a leather
face like whole outfit with a chainsaw.
Speaker 1 (46:40):
He chased me down the whole street, just.
Speaker 9 (46:43):
Me, no one else, and I got lost from my
mom too, so that traumatized me even more.
Speaker 8 (46:49):
That's that's the worst. That's the worst, because you think
it's gonna end once you leave there, and it just
keeps on going.
Speaker 1 (46:57):
It upset me. My mom's like, what's laughing after found? Yeah,
Oh I hope you're okay.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (47:05):
I want to know if any of the characters, as
Mojo calls them, have gotten hit.
Speaker 9 (47:10):
Like I've been in houses with groups of people and
I remember vividly this one girl punched a dude in
the face.
Speaker 8 (47:18):
You know, do you know you could get arrested for
that too. That's that's literally, it's it's literally assault.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
Yeah, it was.
Speaker 8 (47:28):
So there was the Haunted House, the one that was
in h Garden City that I went to once, and
the guy has infrared cameras in there, so you can
see everything that's in the dark happening to you. And
he would tell me that they would send the videos
off to the police for like because you could literally
see guys hauling off like fisting. That's all right, coming
(47:53):
up next, still miss this when we come back here
in just a little bit. Shannon's gonna do break making dirty,
but right afterwards war the roses. He cheated when he
was on his bachelor party, and now she's going to
call off the wedding. You got to hear the phone
call that we make in a second, what.
Speaker 6 (48:09):
Do you got Eminem is going to be a grandfather again.
All of the details on that, plus details on Alec
Baldwin's Hampton's car accident yesterday coming up in the Dirty.
Speaker 4 (48:22):
He's cheating another world famous War the Roses, the seven
on Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (48:32):
All right, we're gonna get wait, some jingle ball tickets
right now.
Speaker 9 (48:35):
Jingle Ball, jingle Ball, jingle Ball eight four to four,
Mojo Live, your chance to go, Stars, Nelly shine down.
Speaker 8 (48:43):
They're all going to be there at Little Caesars Arena
eight four four sixty six, five six five four eight
ninety fifth collar, good luck.
Speaker 7 (48:50):
Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 8 (48:52):
So coming up here in the second War the Roses
cheated while he was on his bachelor party, and the
person who ratted him out on this one coming up
here in just a little bit. And then right after that,
right after War of the Roses, Kevin labeled this as
just its time, a major announcement from Kevin coming up
(49:13):
at eight o'clock. And I can see that you are
fun Kevin today, but I also see that you got
a little bit of stuff that weighs on you a
little bit.
Speaker 1 (49:20):
That's why I saw so ti to get it off.
Speaker 8 (49:22):
Kevin is going to talk this morning about something that
might be the most personal thing he has ever said
on this radio show, which if you listen to this
radio show on a daily basis, this man says some
very personal things, almost too personal sometimes.
Speaker 1 (49:35):
But I keep your finger closer to Dumbledon. You'll hear that.
You know, you will hear it.
Speaker 8 (49:39):
I don't think it's dumpable, but it's definitely you are
letting some stuff out, so you'll hear that.
Speaker 1 (49:45):
After War of the Roses, what do you got in
this dirty channel?
Speaker 36 (49:48):
Well?
Speaker 6 (49:48):
Alec Baldwin was involved in a car accident in the
Hampton's yesterday. He crashed his Range Rover into a big
old tree, hitting him.
Speaker 4 (50:00):
I had a tree.
Speaker 1 (50:01):
I had a big fat tree.
Speaker 4 (50:03):
You crushed my car with my wife's car. I crushed
my wife's car.
Speaker 1 (50:06):
I feel bad about that, but's so fine and I'm
fine and my brother's fine.
Speaker 6 (50:10):
Yeah, he said. A garbage truck the size of a
whale cut him off, which forced him to swerve and crash.
Thanked the Easthampton Police Department and also confirmed and you
heard it right there that his brother Stephen, who was
with him, also fine after this accident. But that car's
in bad shit.
Speaker 8 (50:24):
You got to talk about this, okay. I think there's
more to the store. I think we discount the fact
that Hayley Baldwin's dad's in the car. Okay, So Stephen
is driving with Alec, who I have heard that they
have not always had the greatest of relationships, and it's
interesting that they are together in the car. I remember
(50:47):
that there was a point where Stephen and Alec weren't
talking to each other, but it looks like they are
talking to each other. Or did something happen in that
car that caused the car crash?
Speaker 1 (50:57):
I think a little bit.
Speaker 6 (51:00):
Maybe we're insinuated there was a little altercation altercation happening.
Speaker 8 (51:05):
I would like to see the police report on having
to swerve away from another car before I completely discount
the fact that maybe Alec and Steven were getting into
it in the car. I want to know more details
about this, please. I just would love a happy Alec
Ballwin situation.
Speaker 9 (51:19):
I feel like over the past couple of years, if
it was that person that was working on the set,
they got shot by the gun.
Speaker 1 (51:25):
Now he's running into trees like you just need to
take a break.
Speaker 6 (51:28):
There aren't many happy ali.
Speaker 7 (51:31):
There never are.
Speaker 6 (51:33):
Eminem's oldest daughter, Elena Maurice Scott, announcing she is expecting
her first child with her husband. She's a big Mojo listener,
so our congratulations this morning to her. She got married
two years ago, shared the happy baby news now on
her Instagram. Now, if you're going okay, wait a second.
I know Eminem is already a grad a grandfather because
Haley gave birth to a little boy back in March,
(51:56):
so this is his second grandchild. But Elena born to Dawn,
who is Kim Mather's twins sister. But Eminem adopted Elena
when she was little, so he's always been a part
of her life and vice versa.
Speaker 1 (52:10):
Why do we not see more Grandpa Eminem?
Speaker 8 (52:12):
I think that would be so cool just to see
him and that side of him a little bit more,
you know, Yeah, Like I think that he's a wonderful father.
You hear nothing but amazing stories about him as a father.
I can only imagine if what happens to you. They
say when you become a grandfather that it's even better
than becoming a father. I can only imagine that he's
having the time of his life right now. So that's awesome.
Speaker 6 (52:36):
Very few details still surrounding the death of actress Diane Keaton.
Her death is very sudden. She was seventy nine years old,
although friends say over the past couple of weeks she
was very very thing just deteriorate it really quickly. We
now know that she was taken away from her La
Area home on Saturday morning by ambulance. After this nine
(52:56):
one one call was made. Yeah, person down. They picked
her up just after eight o'clock in the morning, took
her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Have
you heard any new deals about any of this. I
(53:16):
just feel like everything's very scarce at this point.
Speaker 8 (53:19):
So I think that there's some stuff that's going to
come out, because I did not hear that she was
like very sick at all beforehand.
Speaker 6 (53:27):
Well even her friends, like I said, we're in the
dark day, just noticed that she was thin, thinner than
she normally is.
Speaker 8 (53:33):
I mean, I yeah, did you see by the way,
what AMC theaters did yesterday? Well they just AMC Theaters
put in what's the Warren Baby movie or the one
that she became most famous.
Speaker 1 (53:44):
For any Hall. They put Annie Hall back in theaters, and.
Speaker 8 (53:47):
They put the Something's Got to Give a movie, The
Jack Nicholson, the Jack Nicholson movie back in in theaters yesterday,
and I guess people were coming out to the theaters
and pretty good numbers to go to go see both those.
Speaker 1 (53:58):
But I don't know. I think it's sad.
Speaker 8 (54:01):
You hate to see somebody, you know, an actor or
actress that means so much to so many people die.
But you also wonder why it is we have not
heard more about per A Lamb.
Speaker 6 (54:10):
Then yeah, and lastly, you Triger treaders might see fewer
chocolate candies in their stashes this year. Rising cocoa prices
have translated into an eight percent increase in prices for
candy and gum. And it's items that are made from coco,
so chocolate seeing the biggest spike.
Speaker 1 (54:28):
Listen to this.
Speaker 6 (54:29):
A forty eight count box of full sized chocolate bars
that sold for about forty bucks this year is selling
for more than fifty dollars this year. Bags of fun
sized chocolate bars are up about five dollars per bag
from last year.
Speaker 1 (54:45):
That's a lot.
Speaker 6 (54:46):
And the sticker shock is real fifty seven percent of
Americans say rising costs are changing their Halloween candy plans
in one way or another.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
Yeah, they're all going to give crappy dumb dums. And
here you go the what is it.
Speaker 6 (55:02):
Of chips?
Speaker 1 (55:05):
Did you have a neighbor that used to give you
like pennies and dimes?
Speaker 41 (55:09):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (55:09):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (55:10):
Hey, for everything you missed from today's show, you can
always catch up on the podcast on the free iHeartRadio app.
And before we close, we have a very very important
birthday shout.
Speaker 9 (55:18):
Out, shout out so one of my favorite cousins, Elena,
today it's our birthday.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
I love you, Elena.
Speaker 9 (55:23):
I still remember when Grandma beat you in the kitchen
with that broomstick. You deserved it then and you probably
deserve it now.
Speaker 1 (55:28):
I love you. Happy birthday, My god, get more.
Speaker 4 (55:32):
Mojo in the Morning dot com.
Speaker 7 (55:34):
Mojo in the Morning's dirty on the thirty.
Speaker 1 (55:38):
That's the most random birthday I've heard. Oh my god. Wow.
Speaker 4 (55:44):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (55:44):
Adriana is going to our jingle ball. Congratulations, Thank you
so much.
Speaker 1 (55:52):
You're so welcome.
Speaker 8 (55:53):

many people are. Adriana, there's a big coning gray fan
following here that wants to go to jingle Ball on

Speaker 45 (56:13):
Actually here in Berndale right now for work?
Speaker 1 (56:15):
Okay, cool?
Speaker 8 (56:16):
Where do you live normally? Where's your where's home in
McColl That's a commute. You got a little bit of
a drive that makes it difficult. Six ninety six.
Speaker 1 (56:24):
Probably not so fun for you, right, Yeah, But I
listened to you guys every morning. I saw Governor Whimer
out yesterday.
Speaker 8 (56:34):
It was like, honestly one of the most bipartisan and
beautiful moments as Governor Whitmer and the Democrats and all
of the Republicans in the House went out yesterday did
a press conference in McComb and they passed a resolution
to pump more money into making our streets better, which
is a good thing and a bad thing. It's a
(56:55):
good thing in the fact that our streets suck. We
have probably the worst streets everybody in Ohio, in Michigan.
It's a horrible You guys have way better streets than
we do. Not anymore, because guess what we got money
that's going to be spent on them, and she said
something I thought that was pretty cool. And the press
conference that I saw was she said, don't be mad
at her, but she knows that you will be when
(57:17):
you see construction barrows all over the place. But understand
that this was actually an effort to fix those damn roads,
and they're going to fix in those damn roads.
Speaker 1 (57:26):
So hang on the phone for your jingle Ball tickets.
Speaker 8 (57:30):

Speaker 7 (58:11):
Oh I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (58:12):
Get your home for Boar of the Roses Unload Joe
in the Morning.
Speaker 8 (58:15):
Alexis thinks that her fiance cheated on her while he
was in Vegas with a bunch of guys.
Speaker 16 (58:20):
Why is that, Well, one of his friends actually told me.
Speaker 1 (58:25):
One of the guys that he went to Vegas with
said that he cheated.
Speaker 16 (58:30):
Yeah, while he was there.
Speaker 6 (58:32):
What exactly did he tell you.
Speaker 19 (58:36):
That they?
Speaker 16 (58:37):
I guess they linked up with some people and one
of the girls that's from out here, he knew her,
and then they sup together.
Speaker 1 (58:45):
What's your relationship with a friend that's ojin?
Speaker 16 (58:50):
I mean, we're all mutual friends. Like I know him
as well. He's in our friend group. So I guess
he just felt bad because we're about to get married.
Speaker 1 (58:59):
That's not really much of a guy friend. Huh. Do
you think that he's got.
Speaker 16 (59:06):
It's a he's a mutual friend.
Speaker 8 (59:08):
Do you think that he's got feeling has feelings for
you and that he could he could be just trying
to sabotage your guys' relationship.
Speaker 16 (59:18):
No, I don't.
Speaker 1 (59:19):
So you think you think you think that he's he's
an honest guy.
Speaker 16 (59:26):
He's a very honest guy, very straightforward. He would have
done the same if I did it, he would have
went and told him on me, Like you know, he's
just like that.
Speaker 8 (59:35):
So you want us to call up your boyfriend to
see where he's going to send a dozen for roses?
Your fiance see where he's going to send a dozen
for roses? When when are you guys supposed to be
getting married?
Speaker 17 (59:48):
It's in a few weeks actually, Like, yeah, is that
why he was in Vegas?
Speaker 1 (59:55):
Was this like an actual party type of thing?
Speaker 16 (59:57):
It was a bachelor party?
Speaker 1 (59:59):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (01:00:00):
Wow, you don't have to say anymore because he's no
longer my fiancee. Well does he know that he's about
to find out?
Speaker 8 (01:00:10):
So you want to call him up and see where
he's going to send the roses? And you want us
to do the war of the roses?
Speaker 46 (01:00:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:00:18):
So you okay, So you didn't You did not confront
him about this at all after the friend told you
this information.
Speaker 8 (01:00:25):
No, all right, we're gonna call him up to see
where he sends flowers to. We're hoping that he sends
the flowers to a Lexus. But it doesn't seem like
it matters. Hang on one second, okay and mute your phone.
Speaker 18 (01:00:41):
Okay, Hello, Hi is this Miles? Yes, this is hi Miles.
Speaker 6 (01:01:02):
My name is Nicole and I'm calling you this morning
from a new online floral company called roses bloom dot
com with an offer for some free flowers. If you
have like thirty seconds to answer two short survey questions,
We're going to gift you a dozen long stemmed red
roses that can be sent to the person of your
choice anywhere in the country, and it's totally free of
charge to you. So I'm just calling to see if
(01:01:22):
you'd like to take partner free offer thirty seconds.
Speaker 10 (01:01:26):
Uh yeah, why not?
Speaker 1 (01:01:28):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (01:01:28):
Have you purchased flowers in the last six months? Miles?
Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
No, I haven't.
Speaker 6 (01:01:34):
Okay, do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next
six months?
Speaker 22 (01:01:41):
Yeah?
Speaker 28 (01:01:41):
Yeah, I can see muse of doing that. Okay, I
have a little bit of romantic side.
Speaker 6 (01:01:46):
Okay, that's actually all I needed from you. And so
now as I thank you for participating in that roses

you this dozen long stemmed red roses. So I just
need to get some information about who they these are
going to go to later today, okay, starting with a
first name and a last name, and again they can
go anywhere in the country, okay.
Speaker 47 (01:02:06):
For sure.
Speaker 48 (01:02:08):
Alexis Alexis, okay.
Speaker 6 (01:02:14):
And what is her telephone number?
Speaker 48 (01:02:19):
Her phone my phone number or her phone number?
Speaker 6 (01:02:21):
Her phone number. I already have yours. I called you, h.
Speaker 34 (01:02:27):
Yeah, five eighty six.
Speaker 2 (01:02:32):
Eight zero.
Speaker 6 (01:02:33):
And what's her relationship to you?
Speaker 10 (01:02:36):
She's my fiance.
Speaker 18 (01:02:38):
Okay, Miles.
Speaker 6 (01:02:40):
We do something unique at roses bloom dot com. And
instead of sending a paper card with the flowers, which
is what is customary, we're going to send in this
case Alexis a text message alerting her she has a delivery.
And then it's also going to include a voice memo
that I'm going to record here with you in just
a second, so you could say something all the lile
bit longer than you would put on a card. She'll
(01:03:01):
be able to play that and know who the flowers
are from. Does that make sense?
Speaker 48 (01:03:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (01:03:08):
Okay, I'm gonna count you down and you just start
talking three two one.
Speaker 34 (01:03:17):
Just something special for the rest of our lives, okay, Miles.
Speaker 6 (01:03:24):
I also have to let you know that this call
is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you
okay with that?
Speaker 16 (01:03:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
Sure, okay, Miles.
Speaker 8 (01:03:35):
I'm gonna come on the call real quick and then
we'll get those flowers off. But I need to let
you know one last thing before we go any further.
And I just wanted to let you know that while
we have been talking to you and you've been sending
the flowers to your fiance, that she has been listening
into this entire conversation and she just heard every word
(01:03:59):
that you set.
Speaker 1 (01:04:05):
At least she knows. I love it, Miles.
Speaker 9 (01:04:08):
This is the mojo in the morning radio show, and
Alexis called us up to see where you were going
to send a dozen free roses.
Speaker 1 (01:04:19):
And this is the part that's going to be the
hardest part, and it's because she believes that you might
have cheated on her while you were at your bachelor party.
Speaker 48 (01:04:37):
Okay, yeah, that that it happened.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
So I guess that was a waste of a phone call, Miles.
Speaker 8 (01:04:49):
Alexis says that she believes that you might have cheated
on her, and she said that the reason that she
believes this is because somebody that you went to.
Speaker 1 (01:05:01):
Las Vegas with. Actually, you want to explain Alexis, Yeah,
I know what.
Speaker 16 (01:05:07):
You've been doing. I know what you didn't in Vegas,
James told me everything with some bitch that was so
you don't have to worry about having a fiance and
or good.
Speaker 41 (01:05:17):
You were gonna get away with it, you know, James
tells everything.
Speaker 16 (01:05:24):
You don't have.
Speaker 21 (01:05:26):
This is a moment to come.
Speaker 16 (01:05:27):
This is a moment to come to come to truth.
You don't need to lie anymore. You wasted everybody time
he said, I don't have I don't have nothing to
do with you anymore.
Speaker 7 (01:05:35):
That's the least you could have done was tell the truth.
Speaker 2 (01:05:38):
Stop. Please, What are you talking about, Miles?
Speaker 10 (01:05:45):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (01:05:46):
We don't know much, Miles.
Speaker 8 (01:05:48):
We don't know much about anything more than just Alexis
believing that what one of your friends said is true.
Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
What is your relationship like? What is your relationship like
with this guy?
Speaker 10 (01:06:05):
He's one of my one of my close friends. But
I mean, I don't I mean, like, was he in
the bedroom with me with some of you're lying?
Speaker 16 (01:06:15):
You don't remember the girl with the red hair.
Speaker 10 (01:06:18):
I don't need So there's gonna be women around, There's
always around.
Speaker 16 (01:06:26):
You're you're a whack goodbye, I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 8 (01:06:32):
Why why, Miles, Why would why would one of your
friends think that you cheated?
Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
Were you alone with other with this woman that, oh
you don't.
Speaker 6 (01:06:43):
Know, you don't remember.
Speaker 28 (01:06:46):
He's just say no, I didn't cheat on it.
Speaker 10 (01:06:48):
I didn't.
Speaker 29 (01:06:50):
Do that.
Speaker 6 (01:06:51):
Okay? Did you put yourself in a situation though that
maybe he could have misconstrued that something was going on.
Speaker 10 (01:06:57):
It's a bachelor party.
Speaker 28 (01:07:00):
There's nothing but women around. I mean, who goes to
the bachelor party and not have women around?
Speaker 1 (01:07:07):
Why do you say he's hating What do you think?
What do you think is going on with him and her?
Speaker 34 (01:07:14):
Man?
Speaker 28 (01:07:14):
I don't know, man, I'm just saying, look, my woman
is fine as hell. And other brothers want to want
to holler at us as simple as that, Like what
kind of guy goes back to his boy's girl and say, hey, man,
your man is cheating on you. What do you what
he does that?
Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
What do you Why do you think that she would
doesn't make sense?
Speaker 10 (01:07:34):
Which way, like, why would he say it to her
if that was the case?
Speaker 8 (01:07:38):
But why would you Why would she believe that you're
alone with another woman without all the other rest of
the guys.
Speaker 1 (01:07:44):
There were you.
Speaker 28 (01:07:47):
It's it's Vegas, it's a bachelor party.
Speaker 2 (01:07:50):
Your mind's going to wonder.
Speaker 1 (01:07:51):
I don't know, but were you alone? Were you alone
with else?
Speaker 4 (01:07:57):
No?
Speaker 10 (01:07:57):
I was not alone with any other woman. Everybody there
was women around.
Speaker 36 (01:08:02):
Simple as that.
Speaker 1 (01:08:03):
We need to hear from James. Yeah, we need to
get James on. We need get their body story except
for his hold on one second, okay.
Speaker 4 (01:08:11):
Yeah yeah, cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater. Mojo in the Mornings
wore the roses.
Speaker 31 (01:08:22):
Call the show now eight four four Mojo Live eight
four four six six six five four eight.
Speaker 8 (01:08:36):
Budge in the Morning wore the roses cheated while I'm
the bachelor party.
Speaker 1 (01:08:41):
Do we believe that that happened? Or do we believe that.
Speaker 8 (01:08:47):
This is just somebody that has given some false information
or maybe doesn't know the true information, is just going
off of something else.
Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (01:08:58):
I would like to know. Also, and this is just
something that you hear before, and we've heard it before,
and where the resist Has anybody ever heard about somebody
cheating on a bachelor or bachelorette party. I always feel
like you'll hear some of those stories sometimes when people
have their bachelor bachelorette parties that sometimes even right before
the wedding, like this one, which is how crazy close
(01:09:20):
is that?
Speaker 1 (01:09:20):
No, I mean less than month. Honestly, I'm gonna be
honest with you. Yeah.
Speaker 9 (01:09:24):
And I don't know where this mentality or where this
perspective came from, but I thought growing up that that
was kind of the purpose of a bachelor party.
Speaker 1 (01:09:37):
Like I thought it was you.
Speaker 9 (01:09:38):
I thought it was like, that's your last hurrah. So
you thought, like, go have sex with somebody because that's it.
Now again, this is like before I was thirteen years old, Okay,
but this is like what I literally thought the purpose
of a bachelor party was, like, this is your last
night out to have fun while out do whatever you
want to do because you're about to.
Speaker 1 (01:09:58):
You know, commit yourself to somebody from life. Wow. Would
you ever?
Speaker 8 (01:10:02):
Of course not if, but it was but on a
totally hypothetical basis, what if the woman that you were
marrying said, hey, free pass.
Speaker 9 (01:10:12):
I would question if we were really ready to be good.
I'm just making sure I'm testing your moral compass.
Speaker 1 (01:10:18):
Uh, Tory, what's up? It's Mojoe in the morning.
Speaker 49 (01:10:20):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
Hi, you thought so?
Speaker 50 (01:10:24):
Honestly, I it sounds like she's grasping at straws. I
feel like either they're doing something on the side, or
she's just trying to find a reason.
Speaker 1 (01:10:31):
To leave him. Who's there? Who's there?
Speaker 3 (01:10:35):
The the what is the guy named James?
Speaker 7 (01:10:39):
Him?
Speaker 1 (01:10:39):
In part? So you're saying wait, so wait, So you're
saying that either she the woman, this woman Alexis and
the guy meaning the guy that gave her the information,
or doing something inside. Yes, yes, that's interesting.
Speaker 50 (01:10:52):
I'm not just going off of my friend that instantly
and leaving my fiance.
Speaker 26 (01:10:55):
That's just too quick.
Speaker 9 (01:10:56):
But see she's said it was a picture though, that's
how she was calling up, and she.
Speaker 36 (01:11:00):
Just said a picture of the girl.
Speaker 17 (01:11:02):
She didn't say what it was a picture of the.
Speaker 8 (01:11:05):
Redheaded girl that he talked about. Yeah, interesting, Dave, what
do you think it's? Mojo on the morning wore the roses?
Speaker 46 (01:11:12):
I mean to me, why first did she say James
tells me everything? Is there a little slumping extra going
on the side, or why.
Speaker 17 (01:11:20):
Did she just win to extra?
Speaker 1 (01:11:22):
Wow?
Speaker 8 (01:11:22):
The first two calls we pick up, our people are
doubting Alexis and her faithfulness.
Speaker 1 (01:11:29):
That's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:11:30):
How long was the relationship?
Speaker 6 (01:11:32):
I'm more apt to believe this James guy because there
were other people there that could either corroborate his story
or say no, he's full of crap. He's just trying
to stir up drama. So that's where I go, Why
would he lie about this? There were other people around
that probably either saw or felt like something was definitely
(01:11:53):
going on.
Speaker 1 (01:11:55):
What's up? Ericai is Mojo on the morning, wore the roses.
Speaker 26 (01:12:00):
Going off, good morning her first time, long time. My
whole thing about this, I just feel that the free
and violated, you know, regardless of the situation. It's a
bachelor party. You got all your fellers there, which is
you doing what you're going to do, regardless of the
situation that's supposed to be between y'all. That's just that's
(01:12:21):
bro code broken, you know, rule number one.
Speaker 2 (01:12:23):
You keep what we do between us.
Speaker 26 (01:12:26):
Women shouldn't be involved, especially your fish, and be the
first one to tell you, old lady, what's going on that.
Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
You got to get some squares at the circle.
Speaker 1 (01:12:34):
By the way. It's it's interesting though that she said
that they have mutual friendship with this guy.
Speaker 18 (01:12:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (01:12:40):
I thought this at first too, but then I was like,
why would he bring it up. Why would he bring
it up?
Speaker 3 (01:12:44):
It made me think maybe.
Speaker 12 (01:12:47):
Miles has been doing sketchy stuff for a while and
it's finally getting to a point where he's about to
marry this mutual friend of theirs, so he had to
bring it up.
Speaker 8 (01:12:56):
But if but if that is the case, then I
questioned James even more. His intentions makes me almost think
that if this guy James who calls up and says, hey,
your guy cheated, might have feelings like I'm starting to
if that's the case, Like if it was just a
random hey, they were there and you know he did this,
(01:13:16):
and he has a friendship with her, and there's nothing there.
It's just that he just wants to make sure that
she knows be careful. He's out there having sex with
some girls in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (01:13:24):
Yeah, you know. Then I'm thinking, Okay, then maybe he's
looking out for her.
Speaker 9 (01:13:28):
But I feel like as a guy, because I've been
in situations where I felt as though some of my
friends may have operated in a way that maybe I
felt was inappropriate or I didn't have the full school.
The last thing you do is go tell that person
significant other something because you have no idea the situation
and you owe it to your friend to first have
a conversation.
Speaker 1 (01:13:48):
With them to figure out what's going on.
Speaker 9 (01:13:50):
You don't go run and break up at home and
you don't even have the full knowledge of the situation.
Speaker 8 (01:13:54):
Yeah, what's going on? Angel wants to make a comment
on that last collar, calling it bro code. What do
you want to say?
Speaker 44 (01:13:59):
Angel just kind of continuing on about the whole bro
CoA thing, Like, Honestly, a group of friends have rid
us of whether the male female. My group of friends
have both. We've all told each other one cheated on
the other's partner. We'd tell the other's partner, no matter
if it was a girl and a girlfriend, guy and
a guy friend girl.
Speaker 1 (01:14:16):
Have you ever had this happen where you actually had
to say something to somebody?
Speaker 44 (01:14:20):
Uh No, but my current partner's brother in law had
to do it with his ex.
Speaker 9 (01:14:25):
Really, what did he do? He had to he had
to say, he said he witnessed somebody cheating.
Speaker 44 (01:14:31):
He walked in on a situation during their kid's birthday.
Speaker 1 (01:14:35):
Oh what nothing that they as a kid's birthday?
Speaker 44 (01:14:41):
Well they were, they were flirty, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:14:43):
But it wasn't like penetration.
Speaker 9 (01:14:50):
I feel like you have to give that person the
opportunity to talk to their spouse.
Speaker 1 (01:14:54):
Yeah, how did you just say, I'm gonna go be
the person too? Yeah, Hey, Sam wants to say something.
What do you want to say? Sam?
Speaker 15 (01:15:01):
The reason I was actually calm this I had a
similar situation. I had a mutual friend of both of
ours let me know that my now ex husband was
actually cheated on me as well.
Speaker 47 (01:15:11):
And then it turned out to be true.
Speaker 20 (01:15:13):
I had not suspected anything at the time, so obviously
I didn't jump right on board with it. But then
because of them letting me know, just they just felt
that this person had been doing like my ex have
been doing stuff for a little while, and they did
keep the quote.
Speaker 15 (01:15:25):
Unquote bro code, but they felt horrible for me and
the kids, so they ended up finally letting me know
and it was true.
Speaker 1 (01:15:31):
Yeah. Ye, So how did you feel when they told you?
Speaker 15 (01:15:36):
I was devastated because I didn't really believe that that
was the case at first. Then I had to sort
of paying more attention rose colored glasses on for quite
a while, and then I realized I was thinking back
and like things have been going on, and sure enough
it was, And I end up leaving and I'm much
happier now.
Speaker 48 (01:15:52):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (01:15:54):
The idea of calling James is a very good idea,
and that actually was an idea that got stopped by
a conversation that happened right after we did the War
of the Roses, when Alexis called us up to say this, you.
Speaker 16 (01:16:10):
Don't need to talk to James. He doesn't want to
get involved.
Speaker 6 (01:16:13):
He was the one that kind of started all this,
so he's already involved.
Speaker 16 (01:16:20):
Well, I'm just I don't think he wants to get involved, So.
Speaker 8 (01:16:24):
Just letting you know, how would how would he not
think that he's already involved when he calls and tells
you this and you call off a wedding?
Speaker 16 (01:16:31):
Well, I mean I promised him I wasn't gonna mention
it with him. That told me so. Honestly, I shouldn't
have said his name, but you know, I was just
upset in the moment.
Speaker 8 (01:16:43):
So that, by the way, is interesting that she calls
up and is like, do not get him involved? After
she just put her brand on right, Yeah, what's up?
Bus stock? I got to dump this picking up Star.
She was swearing to somebody that's in the car. Who's
in the car with Star?
Speaker 36 (01:17:01):
Oh?
Speaker 10 (01:17:01):
No, I wasn't swaying at anybody.
Speaker 8 (01:17:03):
I heard you say that. The yeah you said, okay,
then you're then you're swearing to yourself. You have Tourette's
What's what's going on?
Speaker 34 (01:17:11):
Star?
Speaker 21 (01:17:12):
Crap?
Speaker 7 (01:17:13):
Hey, guys, how are you good?
Speaker 1 (01:17:14):
So like this is full of crap.
Speaker 21 (01:17:16):
For sure, her and James have to be screwing around,
that's one.
Speaker 1 (01:17:20):
So harring her tell us that she doesn't want us
to call him. That puts you over the edge.
Speaker 7 (01:17:26):
Oh absolutely, But.
Speaker 21 (01:17:27):
Even before I just heard that, I thought that her
and James were screwing around and they're just trying to,
you know, come up with something to where it makes
James look like he's a guilty one when.
Speaker 11 (01:17:39):
He really is not.
Speaker 1 (01:17:40):
Why Why did you think that?
Speaker 51 (01:17:44):
I just, you know what, I've been in a.
Speaker 21 (01:17:46):
Situation where my ex husband cheated on me and him
and the girl they tried to do the same thing.
So I just I feel that James didn't do anything wrong.
Speaker 7 (01:17:56):
Was I there?
Speaker 21 (01:17:56):
Absolutely not. But in the same aspect, I think that
her and James are scrowing around.
Speaker 9 (01:18:02):
Interesting in your situation, did somebody come tell you? How
did you find out?
Speaker 22 (01:18:08):
Oh?
Speaker 21 (01:18:08):
Yeah, my ex husband friend told me, and it was true.
Because I did, and I did not say anything to
him at first. I waited a while and I caught him.
Speaker 1 (01:18:18):
Did that friend get a little piece of action afterwards
as a thank you for telling me?
Speaker 17 (01:18:24):
Absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (01:18:25):
Oh okay, I'm just making sure in that one.
Speaker 17 (01:18:28):
No, but nope.
Speaker 21 (01:18:29):
So I feel bad for.
Speaker 7 (01:18:33):
Because he really acted.
Speaker 21 (01:18:36):
Like he didn't all was going on, and she wouldn't
even let him get a word in edgeways.
Speaker 36 (01:18:40):
Anyways.
Speaker 8 (01:18:41):
Yeah, so James and Miles, Destiny thinks that they both
are guilty.
Speaker 1 (01:18:48):
What do you mean by that, Destiny?
Speaker 41 (01:18:54):
Oh? Sorry, I feel like all three of them have
some sort of guilt.
Speaker 45 (01:19:00):
The way that she was talking on the phone and
wanted to protect him, in the way that this James
guy didn't even bother to attempt to talk to his
friend at his bachelor party, and the James guy just,
I don't know, they all seem guilty. I've been in
a situation similar and with two guy friends my well,
(01:19:21):
my boyfriend and my guy friend he was cheating on me.
The guy friend walked in on him with the girl
that he wanted me to be best friends with that
he was cheating on me with, and he gave him
the opportunity. He said, you tell her tomorrow or I do.
And I feel like that's how it should have been
gone about.
Speaker 8 (01:19:38):
Interesting. Yeah, that would have been an interesting way to
handle it, to tell him that. Yeah, I will tell
you this. There is one thing for sure, James will
never be invited to another bachelor party again. Right, there's
any other bachelor parties? Do not invite James.
Speaker 1 (01:19:54):
Please. Detroit Mosque the guest to Ledo. This is Mojo
in the Morning. Mojo.
Speaker 3 (01:20:03):
He's amazing live.
Speaker 5 (01:20:07):
Mojo one God, let me take you back to the beginning.
Speaker 7 (01:20:21):
Alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 1 (01:20:25):
You're a doo doo a head.
Speaker 7 (01:20:30):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (01:20:32):
All right.
Speaker 8 (01:20:32):
Coming up this hour on the Mojo in the Morning Show,
keV with a very important announcement that's happening in moments
from now, going to a wedding this weekend. And the
groom of the wedding just so happens to be the
brother of Jed from the Joe Show. And Jed has
rules to his toast to the newly married couple. What
(01:20:55):
are those rules? I'll explain, And uh Anna did it's
some booing but didn't get the credit and she wants
a little bit of credit on this one here, so
we'll talk about that coming up here in just a
little bit. It's Mojo in the Morning Show. We love
that you listen to this show for many many reasons,
but one of the greatest honors is when people will
say that they listen to this show because they understand
(01:21:19):
that we try to give you are all.
Speaker 1 (01:21:21):
We try to talk.
Speaker 8 (01:21:21):
About everything that happens in our lives and you feel
like you can relate well. This morning here on the
show probably one of the more personal moments you'll ever
hear on this radio show. And it's titled in his topics,
It's time, meaning that now is the time that he
wants to talk about it. And it's been going on
for a little bit, but Kevin, I'm gonna give you
(01:21:42):
the floor and it is all yours.
Speaker 1 (01:21:44):
All right. I don't know how to start, but for
a long time I've I've had like the weight of
truth on me, and I.
Speaker 9 (01:21:56):
Feel like you kind of say, I'm gonnaigure out when
it's the right time to say something, or I'll know
when it's the right time to communicate, or you hope
that you receive this clarity or this feeling where it
feels like now is the moment that I'm ready, And
I always feel like that moment never really comes or
it doesn't come in the way that you think it
(01:22:16):
will come, so you don't know what it looks like.
Speaker 1 (01:22:19):
But over a year ago, Schrelle and I were going
through a rough patch.
Speaker 9 (01:22:23):
We separated for a little bit of time, a few weeks,
and during that time, she conceived a child with someone else.
And the child that y'all saw me have a gender
reveal for it, that y'all saw me on the news,
for the child that I grew to love and come
to know and understand and appreciate and call my own,
in fact, was not my biological daughter. And that sucked,
(01:22:49):
for lack of a better term, the hardest truth that
I think I've ever heard, a lot of pain, a
lot of anger at times. But we are now in
a season where you know, I'm not fully over it
or fully healed. I still have my days, but I'm
at a place now where I can talk about it. So, Yeah,
that's what happened.
Speaker 2 (01:23:09):
Wow.
Speaker 1 (01:23:11):
Can I ask you some questions?
Speaker 8 (01:23:12):
I knew you would, and I knew the answers to
many of these questions but that's what figure the listeners
are going probably want to know.
Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
Is that the reason why you and Cherrell ended up
splitting up.
Speaker 9 (01:23:23):
It's not the ultimate reason. There are other things that
factored around that situation. It's not the end all br reason,
but it is a huge reason, yes, that we are together.
Speaker 6 (01:23:34):
Did you did you have any intuition about this?
Speaker 18 (01:23:37):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:23:37):
No, I had zero. I had zero intuition. I had
zero intuition.
Speaker 9 (01:23:40):
I made jokes, you know, just based on the color
of our skin and the color of the child scan
But never in my mind did I ever think that
that baby wasn't mine. Yeah, I thought, you know, she
looked just like my grandmother in certain instances, she looked
just like her mom in certain instances. So never in
my mind did I ever think that that was a
possibility until until it was. So you went through the
(01:24:01):
entire pregnancy and obviously the birth of the baby. We
shared it with our listeners and everything, thinking that that
baby was yours. And how soon after Journey was born?
So she was born in November, and then we had
a conversation that next June.
Speaker 1 (01:24:17):
Okay, so it's about six or so months, six or
seven months.
Speaker 6 (01:24:20):
Yeah, how did Josiah handle the news that this baby
sister that he thought was his baby sister is not
really his baby sister.
Speaker 9 (01:24:29):
Yeah, so that was a that was a very tough
conversation to have, and it was a very tough moment
of me actually being like trying to figure out how
to tell him. And I honestly think some of it
was I didn't want it to be true, Like the
thought of even articulating that or understanding that was something
I was so far away from.
Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
I did not want that to be my reality.
Speaker 9 (01:24:51):
And I think I prolonged telling him because articulated get
it and telling him made it real. And so I
had her, came into his room, he was on his
computer playing roadblocks or whatever, set her on my lap
and I'm like, Joe, I got to tell you something,
and he turned around. I was like, the baby not yours,
And I was like no. He's like, wait, are you serious?
(01:25:13):
And I'm like yeah, And then you could kind of
see that was his personality. That was his personality. I
don't think anybody had any I mean, I had become
distant in the house, you know, not only distant from
my relationship, but distant from the child as well. Joe
is a very intuitive individual. I think that maybe he
(01:25:34):
picked that up and he sensed that. I think every joke,
no matter who tells it or what the joke is,
has some symbolism of truth layered in there. But yeah,
and I could see his the breath leave his body
also like I could see like a but yeah, you
know he was in therapy. I was in therapy, and
(01:25:54):
he's cool.
Speaker 3 (01:25:55):
Now, what's your relationship with Journey?
Speaker 12 (01:25:57):
Now?
Speaker 1 (01:25:58):
It is the one that's not my child, Okay, I
don't have a relationship with her. How does that affect you?
Speaker 2 (01:26:05):
Not a lot.
Speaker 1 (01:26:05):
I'm gonna be completely honest with really, not a lot.
Speaker 9 (01:26:08):
I am How long did it take for you to
feel that way? It took a while, Like I remember initially.
It's so crazy And one thing that I want to
be extremely clear about. I talked to Cherill yesterday and
tell her this was something that I was going to
bring up, so I'm not I didn't want to blindside her.
I don't have any hatred or ill will towards Sharil.
I think initially I did.
Speaker 1 (01:26:25):
I was in pain. I was angry.
Speaker 9 (01:26:27):
You want somebody to blame, and we both have fought
in certain situations. So I'm not utilizing this platform to
dispiriture character. Cherill is an amazing person. She's an amazing woman,
she's an amazing mother, and I hope that that is
what's highlighted, not our lowest moment, so to speak.
Speaker 1 (01:26:42):
I want to be clear in saying that, what's your question?
Speaker 8 (01:26:47):
The question that Anna asked was about Journey and what
your relationship is. Oh, yeah, no, I'm not her father,
I don't have a I don't have a relationship with
her mom. I don't have a relationship with her.
Speaker 9 (01:26:58):
Yeah, but you know what the craziest thing was, Like
I want to say, maybe a day or two or
sometime within that week I found out was Journey's first words,
and her first words were Dad.
Speaker 1 (01:27:09):
At that that was a moment that like killed me
because you knew at that time, Yeah, I knew at
that time. Well I didn't. I didn't.
Speaker 9 (01:27:18):
I didn't have the test results at that time, so
we had I haven't noticing, but you had a feeling
though at that time. Well, Shrilla and I had a
conversation at that time. I've been noticing a distance in
Sharill for like a couple of days or a couple
of weeks that it was a couple of days and
trying to understand what was creating this distance, what was
she dealing with and just see something was wrong, and
you know, she kind of put it off, I don't
want to talk, and then came home one day, made
(01:27:41):
like some cold garlic brig because I'm nice with that,
had like some little salmon sandwiches, put them out on
our balcony. He got her favorite wine and then sat
down and like, man, let's talk, like, let's have a conversation.
Speaker 1 (01:27:51):
What's going on.
Speaker 9 (01:27:51):
And that's when she told me what happened and the
potential that it wasn't And I kind of just sat
there and was like, okay, well let's find out. And
then you know, you actually get the test and you
fully find out in a standing there.
Speaker 8 (01:28:01):
So when she told you that, and again we got
we do need to give Cherrell the most fairness on
this one here, because she is a wonderful person. She's
a wonderful mother.
Speaker 9 (01:28:10):
Absolutely in fairness, you guys, at the time Babe, that
journey was conceived, we're not together at the time.
Speaker 1 (01:28:15):
Correct, we were separated. So you guys were separated at
that time.
Speaker 8 (01:28:18):
So and this is interesting because of this is where
we all, you know, know that this has been a
thing that has been kind of kept quiet for the
longest time. Kevin Cherrell came to Chelsea and I when
this was going on and brought to us that this.
Speaker 9 (01:28:35):
Way y'all, y'all invited us over for dinner. We was
in there key key and laughing, and we went on
the back and he's like, all right, what's going on?
Y'all showed up differently. We were shopping for wedding rings.
Chelsea can say that the environment and I want to say,
you know, apologize to to Fran and everybody at Lucido
because I'm thinking we about to get married, and then
all of this happened in the middle of it, so
that kind of broke whatever we had going on with that.
(01:28:57):
But Chelsea could see that Cherrell wasn't as happy during
that moment, and me trying to save face and like,
I don't really know at that time.
Speaker 1 (01:29:06):
I didn't have the results at that time, so I
didn't you know.
Speaker 9 (01:29:09):
At that point, I'm like, well, if she isn't clearly,
I'm gonna stay which you and we're going to live
the life that we planned. Prayed and dreamed about. But
at that time when we're trying on wedding rings, I
had just found out the day before that this was
even a possibility.
Speaker 6 (01:29:20):
I did not know that that was the timing there.
Speaker 8 (01:29:22):
Yeah, And I want to say this that I thought
you guys were You handled everything, the breakup and everything
really well.
Speaker 1 (01:29:33):
I know that this is tough for you.
Speaker 8 (01:29:36):
It but really tough for her too, tough for your
mom because your mom and your sister and family have
grown you know, so close. But the hardest part for
me watching you go through this was we would talk
on the radio about, you know, Kevin being a father,
and he would only talk about Josiah and you would
(01:29:56):
see text messages come through and there were some people
that called and tried to say get on the air,
but we didn't have him on the air, saying why
do you never mentioned journey? And then it started becoming
a situation where it was like, keV sounds.
Speaker 1 (01:30:09):
Like a bad dad.
Speaker 8 (01:30:10):
And the one thing that I know more than anything
about you, you are the most proud of being a father,
Like that to you is the greatest thing ever. So
it had to be tough for you when you would
see listeners say something like why is Kevin not ever
talking about journey?
Speaker 1 (01:30:29):
And was it tough for you to not necessarily Yeah,
I mean I'm not gonna stand here.
Speaker 9 (01:30:37):
Like my boy Nipsey saying try to like produce this
ultimate poise or courage or confidence like it it mattered,
but it didn't like I read it. It's not something
that ever stuck with me because I know my truth.
I know the reality and people who aren't close to
the sun or don't have the full picture, and we'll
never have the full picture. I can't really get lost
in those sex messages. And I also feel like, you know,
(01:31:01):
I went through a period of like shame, went through
a period of embarrassment. How could this happen to me?
Sometimes you think like cause growing up, I never like
you hear these stories.
Speaker 1 (01:31:11):
But sometimes you be like dog, like that's not gonna
be my story, Like that can't be me.
Speaker 9 (01:31:16):
And I think when I put like it's time is
because you know, like for me in particular, every morning, bro,
I got this thing that I pray put my hands
on my walls, like God grant me the ability to
inspire people, grant me to opportunity to inspire people, grant
me to fearlessening the charism matter what stage I'm on,
And I've always asked God to use me. Sometimes when
God use you, it'll be in the worst way that
(01:31:38):
you think possible. And oftentimes when I saw myself being
used quote unquote, it's been in the best way possible. Oh,
it's gonna be on the MODI in the morning show,
It's gonna be hosting the Pistons game. Well, maybe having
this platform, my life may need to look a little
messy in order for me to either have more empathy
towards the subject or be able to speak to a
population of people that aren't being spoken to right now.
(01:31:58):
So I'm finally out of place bro where it's like,
you know what, don't never be ashamed of your story
of what you've gone through. It makes you who you are,
and I'm comfortable with who I am. And for those
je are just tune in right now because of you
might have caught this in the middle of this. Kevin
just announced on the air just a couple of minutes
ago that the baby that many of our listeners had
(01:32:19):
known that Kevin and Chell had journey is not his
child and how he found out.
Speaker 8 (01:32:25):
About it, and if you want to learn more. You
can go back and listen to the podcast when this
is posted. But I give you a lot of credit
for holding this until the moment was right, because I
think most guys, including myself, would probably go, I just
want everybody to know that I'm not a bad day.
Like I would honestly think that to myself.
Speaker 6 (01:32:45):
Like, but that's what speaks volumes about you and who
you are, was that you cared about everybody who was
involved in this, especially Charrell.
Speaker 1 (01:32:54):
Yeah, listen, I do I love Sharill. I care about Sharil.
Speaker 9 (01:32:58):
I do not want this to look like I'm bashing her,
calling her out, like Shilla is an amazing person, Like
it's not like she cheated on me. We were separated
for a little bit, and ask when this happened. Is
this something that happened?
Speaker 1 (01:33:08):
Yeah, uh Kayla, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 4 (01:33:12):
Hi.
Speaker 44 (01:33:13):
Well, first of all, I.
Speaker 22 (01:33:14):
Wanted to sell Kevin. I was so sorry what happened
to him. But I caught onto this many many months ago.
I knew right away when he stopped talking about Journey
that there was a hair in the butter, and I
kind of guessed that probably Journey wasn't his, but I
bet the does a lot of people. I'm glad he
brought it up because a lot of the listeners probably
(01:33:37):
do owe him a little bit of an apology because
they were probably, you know, really coming down on him
by only talking about Joe.
Speaker 8 (01:33:46):
And you know, listen, I think that the people that
will say stuff and try to judge somebody, or typical
people that are going to say stuff and just try
to judge somebody. There were some comments that were in
there that honestly, I deleted them as listeners to be
able to text into the show because in Lydia did
the same thing too, because I don't even want them
(01:34:08):
to listen to us or be able to text us.
So in Kayla, your intuition, a lot of people are
calling up with that same thing. I kind of had
this intuition that something was going on because it all
kind of tied back to each other.
Speaker 1 (01:34:21):
But thank you for calling in at least admitting that.
Speaker 3 (01:34:24):
I'm glad.
Speaker 19 (01:34:25):
I mean, I'm glad he let the listeners know his truth.
Speaker 22 (01:34:28):
You know, I'm glad he let us know that because
we do care about you guys all on the show, and.
Speaker 17 (01:34:35):
You know, learning that.
Speaker 22 (01:34:36):
Informa makes it easier to understand why he's only talking
about his one child.
Speaker 8 (01:34:42):
Yeah, thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Rachel, what's up.
It's moje in the morning.
Speaker 45 (01:34:48):
Hey.
Speaker 52 (01:34:48):
I just want to tell you, Kevin that I owe
you the biggest apology for being judgmental to your struggle.
Speaker 16 (01:34:54):
At time.
Speaker 52 (01:34:56):
I had idea that this was your truth, and I assume,
like a lot of other people, I just made judgments
that weren't fair to you and caused me to just
not like you and I that's not fair to you,
and I'm sorry.
Speaker 9 (01:35:09):
I appreciate you for saying that, And hopefully, as people
may have the same perspective that you're gaining right now,
hopefully we can extend that same reality to everybody we
come into contact with, because everybody has a story and
it's not always what you see on the surface.
Speaker 8 (01:35:24):
Jess wants to talk about this because Jess's situation happened
to one of your loved ones.
Speaker 1 (01:35:33):
Is that your name, Jess? Or Am I not talking
to you?
Speaker 2 (01:35:35):
Jess?
Speaker 4 (01:35:37):
I on you?
Speaker 1 (01:35:38):
Oh there you go? OK, all right, I've done that before,
I've muted the phone. What's going on?
Speaker 41 (01:35:43):
I'm grown up listening to you guys. So first off,
I just want to say, keV, I appreciate you being
so vulnerable with the audience, Like it just it took me,
like it took my breath away to hear you talk
about this. I've moved and then I've recently moved back,
and you know, just listening to you guys again, I've recently,
(01:36:04):
you know, learned more about Kevo. Just hearing him be
authentic and.
Speaker 21 (01:36:08):
Very vulnerable, that just touched my heart.
Speaker 41 (01:36:10):
But it really touched my heart because this same thing
just happened to my brother recently.
Speaker 30 (01:36:15):
And it's funny because it was.
Speaker 53 (01:36:17):
My mom's intuition.
Speaker 16 (01:36:19):
So my mom was the one that she just.
Speaker 41 (01:36:21):
Had she just like she wouldn't say it to my brother,
but she had an inkling and she would say things
to my sisters and I about the baby and about
my brother's ex wife and how she just really didn't
think that the baby was his, But she never said
anything to him. She wanted to let him kind of
(01:36:45):
come to that decision on his own to get a test,
and over time he started to put pieces together and
he ended up getting a test about two years later,
and unfortunately, the baby wasn't his and I think it's interesting, Mojo,
(01:37:07):
because you also you also said, you know, like, well,
what's your relationship with a baby now? And you know,
I think keV just point blanks that you know, there
isn't one, And unfortunately I.
Speaker 16 (01:37:20):
Have to agree with that.
Speaker 41 (01:37:21):
It's it's it's sad, But I don't think the onus
should be on TeV or you know, someone like my
brother to have a relationship with a child that's not theirs.
Speaker 1 (01:37:31):
How early was was it that your brother found out about?
Speaker 17 (01:37:33):
Again, it was like two and a half years.
Speaker 1 (01:37:37):
Okay, two and a half years is a long time.
And let me ask I want to ask Kevin that question.
Speaker 8 (01:37:42):
If this happened so soon, if two and a half
years into a parenting and being a father, would it
have been tougher?
Speaker 16 (01:37:51):
I don't know.
Speaker 9 (01:37:52):
I don't know if that would have been I don't
know if for sure, you know, more time, there's you know,
more experiences in a relationship love deep in So was
hard in the right way?
Speaker 1 (01:38:03):
I don't know. I can't really answer that question.
Speaker 22 (01:38:06):
Yeah, but.
Speaker 1 (01:38:09):
I would. I don't know.
Speaker 9 (01:38:11):
The relationship between her mom and I may not have existed,
but maybe there would have been a relationship with your
does your mom still see a journey? I don't know
the last time she said. I know she still takes
cherrell and get pictures and all that is.
Speaker 6 (01:38:26):
Very very close.
Speaker 9 (01:38:27):
I didn't make you feel that your mom still That
was one of the things that I communicated early on,
like whether it was my mom, whether it was my
cousins or my sister, Like I didn't want them to
feel like they had to pick a side because I'm
not only I'm not the only one that's affected by it,
you know what I'm saying. They was at the hospital
too when the baby was born. It was watching them
and change diapers. Like I can't expect you to just
remove any emotional attachment that you have to this beautiful job,
(01:38:50):
just as like, I'm on your side. So I communicated,
do what y'all want to do?
Speaker 1 (01:38:55):
So good with me?
Speaker 8 (01:38:56):
Yeah, buddy, this is a big info. This is a
lot to to let out. You seem emotional. I can
see the tears a little bit in your eyes, and
I heard your voice crack a little bit.
Speaker 6 (01:39:06):
I'm proud of you because I know that this has
been something that you've wanted to let go of and
get off your chest, and it's not easy. It's not
easy to come in here every day not feeling like
yourself because you feel like you've got a quote unquote
secret that doesn't allow that to happen.
Speaker 1 (01:39:24):
I'm tired of.
Speaker 9 (01:39:24):
Lying to people like it's been through a period where
you know, you don't want to tell the truth. So
when people come up and they're like, how's journey, you
kind of got to be like, Oh, she's doing good,
but inside you dying. You dying every time somebody bring
her up. Man, I'm blessed to be at the position
I am now. But again it's you know, I have
my days. Good Do you still have pictures of like
the birth and everything like that.
Speaker 1 (01:39:44):
Yeah, I'm not a person like that delete stuff.
Speaker 9 (01:39:47):
So yeah, like I'm like STUFFI pop up on my phone,
Like my Instagram still got everything that had it at
that time. Like it's a part of my life. Man,
I'm not trying to erase that part of my life,
but I am trying to move forward.
Speaker 8 (01:39:57):
Well, one thing I do know for a fact is
that I know we all believe that God puts us
in situations at the moment because of he believes that
we can handle those situations through through you know him,
his guidance.
Speaker 1 (01:40:11):
Here's a silver There is a reason that you were
there for this birth of this baby.
Speaker 9 (01:40:16):
It really is in my mind. So with Josiah, his
mother and I did not have a great relationship. I
did not even know that like he was my child
until he was actually born. So I missed the entire
pregnancy period, I miss being in the delivery room. I
missed a month of his life, or maybe two months
of his life. And there's such a blessing that I
(01:40:36):
was able to receive being there through the entire pregnancy
and having every single day maybe missing maybe one appointment
or whatever the case may be, and being there in
that delivery room, Like God blessed me with that opportunity.
And I don't ignore that that's an opportunity that not
many people have access to. So I'm very appreciative of
the experience that I had and not really dwelling on
(01:40:58):
what I didn't have, being appreciative of what I was
blessed with. And that's what I could take away. Wow,
that's that's awesome and beautiful that that that's the case. Also,
I think that your relationship with Josiah's mom probably grew
stronger too, during this time.
Speaker 1 (01:41:12):
I mean, when you go through stuff, you pull closer
to family.
Speaker 8 (01:41:15):
Yeah, all right, Kevin Cavin, Kevin, never an easy, dull
moment with you.
Speaker 9 (01:41:25):
All right, you feel better. You feel like you've left
to got to weight off your shoulder for sure. It's
tired of carrying out around bro.
Speaker 1 (01:41:31):
All right, I'm I'm very happy for you, all right,
Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 29 (01:41:34):

Speaker 2 (01:42:02):

Speaker 1 (01:42:02):

Speaker 8 (01:42:03):
I want you to know that you got my big
fat nose. All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show.

So I went to Starbucks today and they fired up
the egg bite oven and the egg bite oven was broken.
So I have not had anything to eat yet. I'm famished,
and I no, no, I'm ordering something right now. I
was gonna say, I'm gonna say, if anybody wants anything,
I'm ordering from what's it hamm and Joe's what's that
(01:42:54):
place called Louise Louise ham ham Hawks or something like
that as a place down the street. So if anybody
wants anything while Shannon's doing the dirty, I'm gonna be
door dashing so fast.
Speaker 6 (01:43:06):
You have to talk about this story with me, because
I know you and I and a lot of people
were watching the hostages be reunited with their families yesterday,
and oh my god, I know you were crying like
a baby. I mean, it was very emotional to see
these people being reunited with their families after more than
two years. Yesterday, Hamas releasing the last twenty living Israeli
(01:43:31):
hostages as President Trump declared the Gaza War over. I
saw he got a standing ovation in Israel's parliament yesterday
for his role in this peace agreement.
Speaker 54 (01:43:40):
All across the Middle East. The forces of chaos, ta
and ruin that have plagued the region for decades now
stand weakened, isolated, and totally defeated.
Speaker 1 (01:43:52):
A new coalition of proud.
Speaker 54 (01:43:54):
And responsible nations is emerging and because of us, the
enemies of all civilizs are in retreat.
Speaker 6 (01:44:02):
In turn, Israel freed nearly two thousand Palestinian prisoners and detainees.
Most of the Palestinians were taken from Israeli prisons. They
were put on buses and driven to either Gaza or
the West Bank. They were greeted by cheering crowds along
with hugs from their friends and family.
Speaker 8 (01:44:21):
Watch watching the loved ones of the twenty hostages reunited
just the region.
Speaker 55 (01:44:28):
This morning, there was hope that today would bring the
end to a brutal literally felt like after seven hundred
and thirty eight days, two years of waiting and praying
the crucial window.
Speaker 1 (01:44:40):
It was like a miracle. They were able for geting hostages.
Speaker 9 (01:44:43):
Many of these family mamers did not think that they
were going to see their family members again.
Speaker 55 (01:44:46):
Early this morning, the first size hamas beginning to hand
over the twenty remaining living hostages to the Red Cross
fans driving the hostages out of Gaza City.
Speaker 4 (01:44:57):
The first groups.
Speaker 8 (01:44:58):
You know, what was amazing to me was Hamas let
the hostages FaceTime their family members beforehand.
Speaker 1 (01:45:07):
And you see members of Hamas.
Speaker 8 (01:45:11):
They're covered up, their faces are covered up, standing next
to these hostages and their loved ones going, oh my god,
I'm going to get to see you, and they're crying
and there's no hostility between the two at that particular moment.
And listen, this is a very very sad and horrible
(01:45:31):
thing that happened on both sides. Too many people died,
and it is awful. It is something that honestly, there's
got to be some reasoning in this world how people
can live together in the same place and be able
to be there. But we have all been praying for
peace and finally, hopefully there is peace. And I'm still
(01:45:52):
praying because I worry that there's not going to be
peace because I've seen peace and I've seen not so
much peace over my fifty plus years of being alive,
and this is one area where there's always this happening. Yeah,
it's very fragile, sad, very fragile.
Speaker 6 (01:46:08):
At this point. In another dirty this morning, in Sports Dirty.
Lions defensive back Brian Branch has been suspended by the
NFL for one game for his role in that post
game brawl on Sunday when he just pummeled Juju Smith
Schuster with a blow to the face, sparking this altercation
between players. The league calling his action aggressive, entirely unwarranted,
(01:46:29):
and beyond the bounds of sportsmanship. So at this point,
I don't know if we're going to see him during
Monday night's game against the Bucks, but he does plan
to appeal excuse me the suspension, and Mojo you said,
if that's the case, we may actually.
Speaker 9 (01:46:44):
See him play on Monday night. Well, if they don't
hear the decision. The decision by that they don't hear
his appeal. Kevin is so appalled by Brian Branch, he
is willing to pay him his one day salary for
Monday night.
Speaker 5 (01:46:56):
What is that number?
Speaker 6 (01:46:57):
Do you know what that number would be? What that
number that he's losing?
Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
I don't.
Speaker 9 (01:47:01):
If you give me a quick Google search, I could
figure it out by the end of the Dirty.
Speaker 1 (01:47:05):
But I feel like.
Speaker 9 (01:47:09):
This is ridiculous. I don't think this warrants a one
game suspension. I was doing some googling to try to
figure out were the last ten reasons why people were suspended.
And a lot of this stuff is like what I
would consider to be heinous activity, not just like a
little post game punch, but the guy that got like
he didn't spit on somebody.
Speaker 1 (01:47:28):
That guy got ejected.
Speaker 9 (01:47:30):
It's been people who've gotten in car accidents, have you know,
like high speed related, defensive drug policies, all of this stuff,
all of this stuff like you punch a guy. We
talked about it in the first game of the season.
If you remember the guy that hit Travis Kelce in
the face from the Los Angeles Chargers, he didn't get suspended.
It's only because it's Detroit and it's the Chiefs, and
(01:47:51):
that's why we had a Detroit verse.
Speaker 1 (01:47:52):
Eabody.
Speaker 8 (01:47:53):
See, I don't think it's a Detroit thing. I think
it's that they protect the Chiefs. I also think it's
Sunday night football. And it looked horrible that it happened
at the end of the game live on national television.
Speaker 9 (01:48:04):
So losing pay seventy six twenty four dollars, oh, that's
what he's not retorting.
Speaker 8 (01:48:11):
Worse than his pay is the fact that that position
needs to be filled and we do not have somebody
to fill that position, and we're about ready to play
a team that's five and one, for God's sake.
Speaker 1 (01:48:20):
So luckily they don't have receivers. Though they got a
couple of guys. They got a rookie. It's pretty darn guys.
He's out with a hamstring. He is he is out
with hamstring?
Speaker 8 (01:48:29):
Good well, if not, let's all go down there and
Tanya Harding the guy, you know what I mean, Let's
go down there and have some far all right.
Speaker 6 (01:48:37):
During her show in London yesterday, Katy Perry addressed all
of those rumors about her relationship with former Canadian Prime
Minister Justin Trudeau, after paparazzi photos showed her and Justin
smooching on her yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara.
He was also feeling her booty in some of those
photos and videos as well. But she sat on stage
(01:48:57):
to the audience that she used to for englishmen all
the time, but not anymore, and so everybody took that
at a hint as a hint that she has moved on.
And Hilaria Baldwin says online bullying pushed her off of
Dancing with the Stars After being eliminated last week, she
(01:49:18):
hopped on her Instagram and said, look, critics were mean.
They made cruel comments about her name, her identity, her accent,
her values. She is calling it strategic bullying and is
upset that a lot of it, a lot of the
negativity came from other women, which she found to be
especially hurtful. She said, well, she is grateful for the
(01:49:41):
chance to compete on the show. She doesn't think it's
something that she would ever do again. But she maintains
she got bullied off of that show and that's why
she's no longer in the ballroom and.
Speaker 1 (01:49:51):
That's the reason Alec Baldwin got into a car crash.
Speaker 6 (01:49:55):
For everything you missed from today's show, catch up on

Speaker 32 (01:50:39):

Speaker 1 (01:51:30):
Did were you listening for a while or did you
just tune in when we were doing the contest?
Speaker 32 (01:51:35):
Oh no, I've been listening all morning during my drive.
Speaker 8 (01:51:39):
Kevin's announcement was crazy, wasn't it. I was wonderful that
he got to get that off his chest.
Speaker 32 (01:51:45):
I think that, you know, being able to speak your
truth is wonderful. And you know, I just thought maybe
there was like a privacy thing. So it's nice to
know the truth. And you guys, thank you guys for
being so vulnerable. It's great to be able to relate
to you guys.
Speaker 1 (01:51:59):
Yeah, it's a it's a good it's a good moment.
Speaker 8 (01:52:01):
It's also one of those things where I can see
that the weight has been lifted off of his shoulders.
And we're going to take a break. We'll be right
back with more Mojo in the Morning, more continuing, don't
go anywhere you.
Speaker 4 (01:52:11):
Were the mistress before being the girlfriend? That or another
world famous war of the roses happens at Mojo.
Speaker 1 (01:52:20):
In the morning.
Speaker 26 (01:52:24):
Mojo no diagno ct never played football, but he has
the brain of a football lightman.
Speaker 1 (01:52:32):
I got a long night. I had a new play
war Co Lions. This is Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 9 (01:52:38):
Hey, and I did play football. I take offense to
that Tony What what what a opposition? I was an
offensive tackle.
Speaker 36 (01:52:46):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (01:52:46):
And I could have done better if I had better knees,
but but I didn't. All right, it's Mojo on the
Morning Show. Going to a wedding this weekend. We're actually
going to a wedding for family friend and actually you'll
know who I'm talking about here. We're going to the
wedding of Jed from the Joe Shows brother Luke. So
(01:53:07):
Luke and Kayl are getting married. Chelsea and I are
going to the wedding. We're very excited. It's gonna be
fun to be able to hang out with all the
Shillings and be able to have some fun. And Jed,
it's funny. I was having a call with a Joe
and Jed was there and I said, Jed, are you
ready for the big wedding?
Speaker 9 (01:53:23):
And He's like, yeah, partner, And I said, perfect impression.
And I said, what you most excited about?
Speaker 8 (01:53:30):
And he goes nothing Chemo Sabi you know, he talks
like a weirdo, you know what I mean, Like he's
got like this weird stuff, you know what I mean,
Like you're like Jesus, Jed and I. By the way,
he needs to get a haircut before this. So Jed's
not listening. Get a haircut. Jeez, my god, you got
so much hair right now, and put your shirt on.
For God's sakes. This actually involves, Uh, if you've ever
(01:53:51):
been to a wedding, I want to know if anybody
has ever said something on Mike like a toast or
something that was really embarrassing to the couple, or if
you you were somebody that got married, did you have
rules for what could be done or not done in
a toast? Here's the reason why. So I said, Jed,
are you going to get up and you're going to
give a toast to your brother? Because this is literally
(01:54:12):
his best buddy in the world, his brother that is
getting married.
Speaker 1 (01:54:15):
Quick question, older younger brother.
Speaker 8 (01:54:16):
His younger brother, Jed's brother Luke by the way, baseball
superstar played for the Chicago White Sox.
Speaker 1 (01:54:23):
He's like, yeah, he's the talented one in that thing.
Speaker 8 (01:54:27):
And Jed's dad tells jed Dad I got the hair,
Jed's got the Jed's in a fantastic morning show radio producer,
uh and uh just an all round nice guy. So
they said, JEDDI a, you're going to do the toast?
And Jed says, uh, he said, well, he's kind of
like fumbling around with it. And he goes, well, my
(01:54:48):
brother hasn't really told me. And so I said, well,
you got to call your brother and you got to
ask him. So he contacts his brother and then the
next day I'm talking to Joe and Joe says that
Luke has given Jed stipulations on his toast, and the
stipulations were there was a time limit on how long
he could do his toast for.
Speaker 1 (01:55:06):
So I think it's only like a couple of minutes
they can do, like he can't go too long.
Speaker 6 (01:55:09):
Which actually I agree with this. Nobody wants to sit
through a ten minute speak.
Speaker 8 (01:55:13):
And then secondly, there were some undisclosed things that Jed
cannot say in the.
Speaker 3 (01:55:17):
Toast, the things that happened growing up.
Speaker 1 (01:55:21):
I think honestly it's dirty jokes or something like that.
Speaker 8 (01:55:24):
Like Jed, like Luke wants to keep it as clean
as possible, and and and honestly, probably is not as
trusting of Jed doing the toast as I would have
thought that he would be. And I think, honestly it's
hysterical because I actually would love to get up and
do a toast at a wedding and just make everybody
(01:55:45):
like Mike drop moment and then.
Speaker 9 (01:55:47):
Walk right out the door. Wouldn't it be the greatest?
And I could see Jed doing something like that. That's
why I asks the question who's the older sibling? Because
I feel like, if you're the younger sibling, strap in,
they can say whatever they want. You can't tell me
what to say. But as an older sibling, I could
put my foot down and say, like, you better shit
your little damn mom.
Speaker 1 (01:56:07):
Sister, you think it matters? In that case, I do
the rules different.
Speaker 6 (01:56:11):
Did I ever tell you guys about the wedding that
I went to out of town wedding and the groomsman
got up and talked in his speech about how they
had to bail the groom out of jail after the
bachelor party, and my friend who was the bride did
it no, And it was not a funny moment, like
she was visibly his that this came up and it
(01:56:34):
was true. It was true. It was so uncomfortable. Yeah,
it was the weirdest wedding I've ever gone.
Speaker 3 (01:56:41):
To the fact that she didn't know ahead of time, she.
Speaker 6 (01:56:43):
Had no idea.
Speaker 1 (01:56:44):
Yeah, that's you don't want her to know.
Speaker 9 (01:56:46):
You want her to have her perfect wedding, and that
knowledge probably would have threw everything.
Speaker 6 (01:56:50):
And everybody just got so quiet in the room because
you could tell by her reaction. I think he thought
she would think it was funny and she did not.
Speaker 8 (01:56:59):
I really you want to hear other toasts like that,
Like I want to hear about other toasts that happen,
because when we do a topic like this, to me,
the topic is great because the embarrassment that happened to.
Speaker 4 (01:57:11):
One of you.
Speaker 8 (01:57:12):
And I have truly not ever been to a wedding
where it got to a point where it's ever been
uncomfortable like that.
Speaker 9 (01:57:19):
But I really hope that I go to one this weekend.
I hope that I hope that Luke Luke's.
Speaker 8 (01:57:24):
Wedding gets a little crazy with somebody doing stuff on
the mic. By the way, there was there at tire
for the wedding is interesting. Their attire for the wedding
is it's like something like, uh, like Hawaiian. I don't know,
something like Hawaiian casual, No Hawaiian. Uh, no Hawaiian shirts
or something like that. Like it's like casual. They want
(01:57:45):
you like they want you to be comfortable the way
that you're dressed, Like they don't want you to wearing
suits and stuff like that. But it was like no
Hawaiian shirts or something like that. They sent it out.
It was kind of funny. Yeah, what's up, Isabella high.
Speaker 35 (01:58:00):
Hi?
Speaker 19 (01:58:00):
How are you module?
Speaker 1 (01:58:01):
I'm great? What's going on?
Speaker 19 (01:58:04):
Listen? I love you guys, listen to you every single
day and on my way towards the Shannon, I'm missing
the War of the Roses because I have to be
at worked by seven o'clock. But what I would like
to ask you my daughter's getting married this Saturday, yesso,
and oh my god, Modile. I know you're not gonna remember,
(01:58:27):
but if you can just like have a toast for listeners?
Do you want me in the morning?
Speaker 8 (01:58:32):
You want me to toast your daughter and the wedding?
You know I won't be able to attend. I'm going
to another wedding, but if you'd like about this, why
don't I do this. We'll do a toast right now
for her. What's your daughter's name? And what's your your
daughter's groom's name?
Speaker 19 (01:58:48):
Jessica and Kyle.
Speaker 8 (01:58:50):
Jessica and Kyle, are you ready, Isabella? We're raising our
glasses right now. I've got my cold brew up in
the air. Okay, to Jessica and.
Speaker 9 (01:58:59):
Kyle, Isabella's lovely daughter and future son in law. May
you guys, you're interrupting my toast. May you guys live
together as long as you want, and may you want
to as long as you live?
Speaker 1 (01:59:13):
Cheers?
Speaker 19 (01:59:14):
Ye oh my god. You know you don't remember me,
but I was a new topic of choking the pills.
I was the one with the hondlegs, the wedding, the toast.
Speaker 36 (01:59:33):
Congratu.
Speaker 8 (01:59:35):
Congratulations to you there, mom, uh Morgan, what's up? It's
Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 3 (01:59:39):
Hi hie.
Speaker 6 (01:59:42):
Yeah, So my sister just got married and I was
the maid of honor. But I was actually banned from
making a speech.
Speaker 1 (01:59:50):
So why do you do know?
Speaker 6 (01:59:52):
Why was she scared for you?
Speaker 49 (01:59:53):
So when I when I was practicing, I was like,
so you know, I could say, like I've lost a
lot of extensions from you when you pulled my hair
out when we were like in our twenties. Remember when
you used to like throw my lunch out the window, you.
Speaker 1 (02:00:09):
Know, just like that's funny.
Speaker 16 (02:00:12):
Oh yeah, she was like nope, nope.
Speaker 5 (02:00:15):
So yeah, that didn't work.
Speaker 2 (02:00:16):
Out for me.
Speaker 6 (02:00:17):
My sisters roasted me and their speech with all those
sorts of things.
Speaker 8 (02:00:21):
Yes, she does not want to look bad at all
in this moment. I bet you she's lying to her
in laws about it. I bet you that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (02:00:30):
Oh, I think she's an angel.
Speaker 8 (02:00:31):
So I was like, yeah, you know what you do,
You just tell them at the bar when you're hanging
out at the at the free bar that this or
I love going to weddings and just drinking up the
tab bruh if it's an open bar.
Speaker 2 (02:00:44):
Saw.
Speaker 1 (02:00:44):
I mean, I don't even care who get married. What's
going on?
Speaker 2 (02:00:47):
Jay?
Speaker 4 (02:00:48):
Yeah?
Speaker 56 (02:00:48):
So I own a business where I do traveling DJ
stuff like that. Sure, And I did a wedding one
time where the during the toast, the and groom you know,
they said, does anybody else want have anything to say?
And the bride's sister stood up and told them that
her and the groom has been sleeping together for.
Speaker 48 (02:01:12):
That is most definitely true.
Speaker 4 (02:01:14):
What was that?
Speaker 1 (02:01:17):
What happened next?
Speaker 35 (02:01:19):
Yeah, so the bride got up and like they started
yelling at each other.
Speaker 1 (02:01:23):
The bride's mom like.
Speaker 56 (02:01:25):
And got in between like the cops and up getting
called the whole everything and got shut down, like the ceremony,
I mean, the reception, everything gotow.
Speaker 1 (02:01:34):
What city?
Speaker 6 (02:01:34):
What city did this happen?
Speaker 1 (02:01:37):
It happened in Monroe. Let me so, let me ask
you a question. Who was hot or the bride or
the bride's sister.
Speaker 28 (02:01:43):
Definitely the bride's sister.
Speaker 1 (02:01:48):
At that moment, you're not in your head. Wait, wait,
what song do you follow that up with?
Speaker 2 (02:01:53):
Like?
Speaker 36 (02:01:53):
What is that?
Speaker 1 (02:01:54):
Genuine? I love it? See this guy has all the answers.
Speaker 6 (02:01:58):
That is a crazy story.
Speaker 1 (02:02:00):
Liked. Yeah, Jessica, how you doing?
Speaker 29 (02:02:06):
Oh good?
Speaker 1 (02:02:07):
Hey, what happened at the wedding?
Speaker 30 (02:02:10):
My matron of n round up grinding at my husband
and my family.
Speaker 1 (02:02:14):
Hated her ever, so oh no, did your husband enjoy it?
Speaker 2 (02:02:18):
Though?
Speaker 37 (02:02:20):
No, he is very shy and does not like attention.
Speaker 30 (02:02:23):
So I don't know why I stay friends with her.
We're not friends now.
Speaker 1 (02:02:27):
But it did it at least make you laugh in
the moment that was Yeah, we were all drunk.
Speaker 30 (02:02:34):
So it was like she apologized, I forgave her, and
then that should have been the first red flag of
her friendship.
Speaker 1 (02:02:40):
Oh yeah, that's a great one, Kelly. This is a
good one.
Speaker 36 (02:02:43):
Here.
Speaker 1 (02:02:44):
Your brother's best man did something at the wedding.
Speaker 2 (02:02:46):
What was it?
Speaker 1 (02:02:49):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 33 (02:02:50):
So during his speech she revealed that basically how we
started the speech was, I just remember if there was
a summer where Kelly and Alice's parents were gone all
summer and we just partied, and my mom.
Speaker 1 (02:03:09):
Was just mortified.
Speaker 47 (02:03:11):
Oh really, because one she had She had no idea.
Speaker 16 (02:03:14):
We had kept that under rest for a couple of years.
Speaker 38 (02:03:17):
Yeah.
Speaker 47 (02:03:18):
And and he ends the speech saying, and I'm just
thinking about brotherhood and how me and the croom were
late night at a bonfire and we're putting it out
with our.
Speaker 16 (02:03:30):
Pee and oss.
Speaker 33 (02:03:34):
That's funny and horrified and lazers to every table. My
friends were ducking their eyes. His friends were all trying
to look away.
Speaker 7 (02:03:44):
See.
Speaker 8 (02:03:44):
I think those are the best ones. Like I like
the truth being told, you know what I mean. Like,
because it's not like you're marrying that, that was what
you were when you were younger.
Speaker 9 (02:03:53):
You make stupid mistakes, cert stupid decisions, and you can't
say everything though, like you can't bring up plus ask
relations shoes.
Speaker 1 (02:04:00):
Remember that one night we had like you can't do that. No, no,
you can do that. You just cannot sleep with the room.
What's up, Sarah? How you doing?
Speaker 7 (02:04:11):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (02:04:12):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (02:04:12):
This is a big one here.
Speaker 22 (02:04:13):
Hey you guys?
Speaker 1 (02:04:14):
Yeah, tell yours.
Speaker 41 (02:04:17):
So first time, long time.
Speaker 7 (02:04:21):
Sarah on the plat.
Speaker 4 (02:04:25):
Uh.
Speaker 41 (02:04:25):
So, two of my best friends just got married.
Speaker 23 (02:04:30):
Back at the start of the year. They decided they
didn't want to wait for the wedding, so they they
eloped and then proceeded to immediately get pregnant. They did
not tell anyone except for like our inner friend circle.
And at the wedding, my friend who is the best man,
(02:04:50):
got up to get his speech, and.
Speaker 22 (02:04:52):
At the end he goes, and I know you.
Speaker 23 (02:04:55):
Guys are going to be great parents, and everybody throw
my friend.
Speaker 32 (02:05:01):
She her mouth just dropped.
Speaker 22 (02:05:05):
He turned around to give the mic back and she's like, no,
we weren't telling anyone.
Speaker 1 (02:05:13):
Yes, that's great, that kind of excited.
Speaker 38 (02:05:17):
He's very loud.
Speaker 2 (02:05:20):
He was like, I.
Speaker 23 (02:05:26):
Literally it could have been played off if he gave
them any kind of warning.
Speaker 1 (02:05:31):
But yeah, that's so good.
Speaker 22 (02:05:33):
I want to know very loud.
Speaker 8 (02:05:35):
I want to be at a wedding where we know
that the bride is getting married because she's now pregnant
or whatever, and somebody does that that's actually kind of cool.
And then the DJ played genuine one last one here
the groom's speech at the wedding that you went to Shelby, priceless.
Speaker 1 (02:05:53):
What happened?
Speaker 25 (02:05:55):
I so first, I would like to say first time,
long time, you know.
Speaker 23 (02:06:00):
Who.
Speaker 25 (02:06:03):
And this was my wedding and my husband's very good
friend from childhood gave us speech, and she was given
us great speech about they were playing in the woods
and had to go to the bathroom, and it went on,
and then he ended the speech with Shelby, you weren't
the first thing to drop Scott to his knees.
Speaker 41 (02:06:19):
It was a beasting to the ball.
Speaker 25 (02:06:24):
Fantastic and our photographer got the picture of both of
us dying laughing at the table at that exact moment.
Speaker 30 (02:06:31):
I will never forget it.
Speaker 44 (02:06:32):
It was amazing.
Speaker 1 (02:06:33):
That is so cute.
Speaker 8 (02:06:35):
By the way, I like that one as the second
best one. To the DJ, they called up that maybe
I do believe, oh I believe he knew that Munroe.
Speaker 1 (02:06:43):
Wedding is one priceless and if you were at that wedding,
I want to hear about it. So all right, WQ
on Detroit, don't you listen? Whiscue Toledo, three grade stations,
one stupid show Mojo in the Morning.
Speaker 8 (02:07:00):
Lie, all right, it is Mojo in the Morning. It
is time now for am I the A hole? This
is where you tell us if you are an a
hole or not?
Speaker 1 (02:07:11):
Or I'm sorry.
Speaker 8 (02:07:11):
You tell us your situation and we'll tell you if
you're an a hole or not. In this situation deals
with a wedding that is coming up, and we had
to voice disguise this person too.
Speaker 1 (02:07:22):
Initial E, So my dad's.
Speaker 57 (02:07:24):
Getting remarried, And would I be the a whole if
I didn't go?
Speaker 8 (02:07:29):
Would you be an a hole if you didn't go
to your dad's wedding? Which he's getting remarried? So real quick?
Speaker 1 (02:07:35):
Initial e? Mom and dad get divorced? Or what's the story?
Speaker 57 (02:07:41):
So my mom died a year ago?
Speaker 9 (02:07:45):
Oh I'm sorry, I'm sorry to hear that it died
a year ago? And when is dad getting married? He's
getting married soon?
Speaker 57 (02:07:52):
Oh yeah, in a couple of months.
Speaker 1 (02:07:54):
Oh wow?
Speaker 9 (02:07:55):
Were they separated for a while, or like where she died? Oh, yeah,
my bed she died. Well, she's they've been separated now
for a year.
Speaker 6 (02:08:05):
Wow, dad moved on very very quickly. Was it somebody
that he or you guys knew when your mom was alive?
Speaker 57 (02:08:14):
Not that I was aware of.
Speaker 2 (02:08:16):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (02:08:16):
So, so dad is getting married a year after your
mom passed away. She died, and you don't want to
go to the wedding because you don't approve of him
getting married.
Speaker 57 (02:08:28):
So soon, right, I just think it's disrespectful to.
Speaker 1 (02:08:33):
Your mom's memory.
Speaker 6 (02:08:35):
Yeah, do you like this woman that he's marrying?
Speaker 57 (02:08:39):
I think I would like her if she wasn't marrying him.
Speaker 8 (02:08:42):
Really well, so you're basically passing the judgment on your
dad on this one here.
Speaker 1 (02:08:47):
All right, let's talk about this for a second.
Speaker 8 (02:08:48):
So phone number's eight four to four, Mojoe live eight
four four six sixty five sixty five for eight.
Speaker 1 (02:08:53):
How long were your mom and dad married?
Speaker 57 (02:08:56):
Twenty five years?
Speaker 1 (02:08:57):
Okay? Are you in your twenties?
Speaker 57 (02:09:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 8 (02:09:01):
Okay, So so your parents were married twenty five years
and and mom passed away and dad is now getting
married a year after your mom passed away. Now I
will tell you this that as somebody who lost their mom,
I know that this is the toughest thing in the world.
So I'm you know, telling you in it's got to be,
you know, tough for you. I don't know if your
(02:09:21):
mom suffered for a little bit or if it was
a tragedy that happened, you know, soon, but you're never
prepared to lose a mom.
Speaker 54 (02:09:29):
You know.
Speaker 8 (02:09:29):
That's that's awful. But with that said, I think that
most the hardest thing for me was not when my
mom died. It was when my dad did get married.
And it was similar to this, but not exactly similar.
He didn't get married right away. It took a couple three,
you know, a couple of years later, but he did
start dating. And it's weird because you feel like you're
(02:09:49):
being disrespectful to your mom. But I'm going to tell
you something as somebody who kind of grew to understand more,
I think that your dad that probably is a typical
guy that wants companionship. And I don't necessarily think he's
doing anything bad to the memory of your mom by
getting that companionship. I just think that you are going
(02:10:11):
to be You're just being protective to your mom. And
I'm speaking from experience on that one.
Speaker 3 (02:10:16):
Have you talked to your dad about this?
Speaker 57 (02:10:20):
It's hard to I'm just wondering super emotional.
Speaker 6 (02:10:26):
He's not super emotional.
Speaker 57 (02:10:29):
No, it's kind of hard for me to talk to
him about his feelings.
Speaker 9 (02:10:32):
It is like he's already lost the love of his life,
and I feel like he would be losing you if
you're not there supporting him on his big day.
Speaker 1 (02:10:42):
Also, like, do you do you think? Yeah? Do you
do you think about that at all? Like what you're
what you not being there would mean to.
Speaker 57 (02:10:52):
I just don't want people there to feel like they
have to handle what I'm going through. I'm afraid that
I would like bring down other people eat because even
if I could eventually get around to liking her, this
day is going to be really hard.
Speaker 2 (02:11:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:11:11):
Eight for fur Mojoe Live. Let me take some phone
calls and see what listeners think about this. Eight four
four six six five six five four eight initial Ease
dad is getting married and she does not want to
go to the wedding. His wife and EA's mom died
a year ago. Uh and so it's been a year
(02:11:31):
since he lost his wife and Ease mom. Uh and
she just feels like it's too soon, is it, uh, Twila?
Speaker 17 (02:11:40):
Yes, good morning, good morning?
Speaker 1 (02:11:43):
Is she an a hole?
Speaker 16 (02:11:45):
First of all my cans is. I am not intensive,
So I'm on the car her in a hole?
Speaker 53 (02:11:50):
However, her grief, your grief, is not your dad's grief.
Your journey and your memory and your mom's legacy is
not the same as it. And like Mocho said, it's
he wants to pay he lost the love of his life.
If he's supposed to sit and be.
Speaker 16 (02:12:06):
Sad or lonely and not move on so that you
are not sad that.
Speaker 35 (02:12:10):
I just think that's selfish.
Speaker 16 (02:12:12):
So I want to call her a whole.
Speaker 53 (02:12:13):
I understand grief, but also I think it's selfish.
Speaker 1 (02:12:18):
Thank you for the call, Derek. What's up? It's Mojoe
in the morning. What do you think?
Speaker 2 (02:12:24):
So, Hi, Derek?
Speaker 1 (02:12:25):
Do you think?
Speaker 26 (02:12:26):
Hi?
Speaker 7 (02:12:26):
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (02:12:27):
Do you think this daughter is an ahole for not
going to her dad's wedding?
Speaker 35 (02:12:31):
No, I don't think so, because if you can picture it,
usually in most cases you have people that will connect
with someone that's been around the family or close to
the person when the mom was alive. So when usually
when they go off to have another relationship that mom
already knew about that person or has known him before.
So sometimes that helps, like the grieving process. But if
you're going out and you're finding someone else, now you
(02:12:53):
know new she's not.
Speaker 1 (02:12:54):
The a hole?
Speaker 9 (02:12:55):
Is that the situation? He is this woman that she
been around the family at all. Yeah, let's let me
pick her up real quick. This woman did she know
you guys at all? Or is a complete stranger that
your dad met.
Speaker 45 (02:13:06):
I didn't know her very well.
Speaker 57 (02:13:09):
I could have heard about her, but and it's everything
I was going to think about my mom. I wasn't
trying to make the connections, so I don't know if my.
Speaker 45 (02:13:19):
Mom knew her at all.
Speaker 1 (02:13:22):
So it wasn't like it was a relative or.
Speaker 2 (02:13:28):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:13:30):
Let me ask Mickey, do you think he's an a
hole for not going to her dad's wedding.
Speaker 16 (02:13:36):
I don't think she's an a whole.
Speaker 11 (02:13:37):
I think she's hurting. But I think if she gives
it some thought, if her parents had a good marriage,
her mom would want her dad to be happy.
Speaker 10 (02:13:46):
Yeah, and that she ought to keep that in mind
and go.
Speaker 36 (02:13:50):
She'll regretted if she doesn't.
Speaker 6 (02:13:51):
That's what I keep thinking. Is I think it would,
And I've never been in this situation, so I'm you know,
I'm not speaking from experience here, and I can't imagine
how hard it would be to sit there and watch
your dad marry someone who's not your mom. But I
think that if she does come to develop a relationship
with this woman in the future, this would be something
(02:14:13):
that she regretted not being there for her dad and
for them.
Speaker 1 (02:14:16):
Mickey Wirett, what's making you emotional?
Speaker 36 (02:14:21):
I it makes me hurt.
Speaker 11 (02:14:22):
I know other people who've been through.
Speaker 1 (02:14:24):
It, Okay, because I was, you know, it speaks from experience.
Speaker 27 (02:14:28):
Oh no, but you know, decisions have a long lasting aspect.
Speaker 1 (02:14:33):
Yeah, I can.
Speaker 8 (02:14:35):
I say something though, and this is in fairness to her,
and she said that she hasn't even really had conversations
with her dad about her grieving with us, saying, I
think one of the things that I hold against my
dad and have had to go to therapy for was
that my dad never grieved with us as kids. And
I think your responsibility as a parent is to help
(02:14:56):
your kids deal with it, and our responsibility as kids
is to see our parents grieve. And I think that
you know, we're not I don't think we as kids
should have to console our parents who lost somebody. I
think it's you know, the parents responsibility to be there.
And if he hasn't done that with her, and it
sounds like he hasn't, I think he needs to focus
(02:15:17):
on that before he gets married. I don't think she's
an a hole at all. I wish that she would
make the choice of going to the wedding, but I
also think that the dad needs to know beforehand of
what her reasoning is of her feeling like she's not,
you know, been able to grieve mom, and I think
dad might make a different choice of how he chooses
(02:15:40):
to have conversations with his daughter because some men don't
ever express their grief at all because they just were
never able to do that.
Speaker 1 (02:15:47):
And my dad was one of those guys.
Speaker 8 (02:15:49):
You know, I didn't see my dad grieve until years
later when I asked him questions about my mom, and
it was literally more than a decade later and he
had been married to his wife or you know sometime
where he just told me about how hard it was
on him. And honestly, I will say this to you,
I think it as a kid who was fourteen at
(02:16:10):
the time that that happened this girl is in her twenties.
I think that you need to have those conversations when
your parent passes away. Courtney, what do you think?
Speaker 21 (02:16:21):
I don't think she's an a hole.
Speaker 30 (02:16:23):
I personally think that a year is too short to.
Speaker 38 (02:16:27):
Get remarried after your spouse dies. Yeah, I mean, I
couldn't picture myself jumping into a marriage a year.
Speaker 1 (02:16:34):
Later after my spouse dies.
Speaker 16 (02:16:35):
I mean, I feel like i'd.
Speaker 15 (02:16:38):
Be upset too if I was her, because I feel
like that's.
Speaker 35 (02:16:41):
Not long enough to grieve.
Speaker 9 (02:16:43):
And I think, honestly, for daughters, it's harder even when
you lose a mom like that, because you're you're the
woman that's trying to protect your father.
Speaker 1 (02:16:53):
Juliana, what's going on?
Speaker 51 (02:16:55):
Hey, guys, So my carment is so my mom died
in two thousand and eight, and I was very young,
and I gave my dad crap for years about ever
bringing another woman around. And now he is sixty five
about to retire, and he's lonely and he doesn't want
to bring another woman around because of.
Speaker 19 (02:17:17):
How I was in the in you know, in the past.
Speaker 51 (02:17:21):
And I also feel like she's definitely not an a hole.
But you also have to realize that your dad has
been there through all of the relationship fails that you've
ever been through. So whether this fails or not, you
still have to stick with him.
Speaker 16 (02:17:36):
He never, you know, gave you crap about who you dated.
Speaker 21 (02:17:39):
If he did, he still let you.
Speaker 51 (02:17:41):
But you know, this is just something People grieve differently,
you know, like some people have grief not come until
later on, you know. So if this is how he
wants to grieve and this is how he wants to
get over something, you kind of just have to let him.
Speaker 16 (02:17:58):
You know, this is just how he's this.
Speaker 51 (02:18:01):
Is how he's reacting. You're reacting different, and you can't
be mad at him for reacting different.
Speaker 8 (02:18:05):
Than you and I speak, and that's from somebody who
gave their dad craft for moving on. How fast did
your dad move on.
Speaker 46 (02:18:13):
Mine?
Speaker 1 (02:18:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 17 (02:18:14):
Oh he hasn't.
Speaker 51 (02:18:15):
He's still home alone, he doesn't have any relation. He's
never had a girlfriend. My mom's been gone since two
thousand and eight. It's been almost twenty years since he's
been gone. He's never had a relationship, he's never brought
anyone around.
Speaker 8 (02:18:29):
Why do you think, why do you think that your
dad didn't do any of this stuff? Because you felt
like he was dishonoring your mom.
Speaker 6 (02:18:34):
Well, yeah, but opinion.
Speaker 51 (02:18:37):
To be honest, I think it was me a lot.
But I also ask him about it now that I'm
older and grown up, and.
Speaker 41 (02:18:47):
His response to me is that my mom was the
love of his life.
Speaker 51 (02:18:50):
He'll never find somebody like that, and he doesn't want
to try. He said that he'd rather die alone than
get into another relationship with somebody that's.
Speaker 16 (02:18:58):
Not my mom.
Speaker 6 (02:18:59):
Oh my god, that breaks my heart. I also, because
we've said it a few times, move on, move on.
He's moving on so quickly. And one of my very
best friends, who who lost close family, who lost a brother,
has always said to me, you know, when it comes
to death, it's it's not necessarily people feeling the need
(02:19:22):
to move on. They feel the need to live on.
And I wonder if you shift your perspective e and
see your dad living on instead of moving on from
your mom.
Speaker 2 (02:19:33):
Here he.
Speaker 8 (02:19:40):
Yes, yeah, did you hear what Shannon just said to you?
She wasn't You did it in such a beautiful thing,
and she didn't even pay attention. No, no, say it again,
say it again.
Speaker 6 (02:19:51):
I think maybe if you shift your perspective a little
bit instead of thinking and I can't. Again, I can't
imagine how difficult this is for you. But instead of
thinking about your dad moving on from your mom, be
happy for him that he is trying to just live
on and live out the rest of his life with
you know, joy and happiness and a companion.
Speaker 57 (02:20:16):
Yeah, that does make sense. I definitely am glad that
he is finding joy in something. It's just hard for
me to get there. Yeah, and so I'm having a
hard time understanding how quickly he got there.
Speaker 7 (02:20:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (02:20:32):
I think you need to have the conversation with your
dad before you just don't show up to the wedding.
And I think it needs to be something like where
you don't say I'm not going to the wedding, but
you say this wedding is making it really hard for me,
and let your dad explain himself before you give him
the I'm not going to the wedding because you're going
to put him on the defensive once you say that,
and then the moment that you say that, he's not
(02:20:54):
going to hear anything other than you don't like my
future wife, and it's it sounds to me it's not
about that. It's about the fact that you feel like
you are dishonoring your mom? Right, okay, and let us
know what happens. I will, and Kennetta, I was listening,
but I was also running something and the controls here,
(02:21:14):
so I didn't missed what she said. She goes Mojo
doesn't listen. You're right, I don't, And I think, Kenyetta,
I'm not listening to you right now at all.
Speaker 29 (02:21:24):
If you start a relationship being the other woman, you
will never be the only woman.
Speaker 4 (02:21:28):
Another world thing is War of the Roses has a nine.
Speaker 1 (02:21:32):
Mojo in the morning.
Speaker 8 (02:21:33):
All right, we're the Roses coming up here in just
a little bed. Anna rob did something yesterday that was
so nice and guess what, she got no credit for it.
Somebody else got the credit for it.
Speaker 1 (02:21:47):
What happened.
Speaker 12 (02:21:48):
So for those of you who don't know, I'm not
sure if I've officially talked about them on air, but
I am an Anti or a Tia as my nephew. Yes,
I am a Tia. My sister has three kids, so Cooper, Carter,
and now Ella. Cooper is eight, Carter six. Ella was
(02:22:09):
just born, so I kind of engage with Cooper and
Carter more. Obviously, Cooper was also born with down syndrome.
And I say that not because it defines him, but
because one it plays into this story. And two he
just though he's the oldest, he's eight, I would say
like mentally, he's not as smart. I don't like saying that.
Speaker 3 (02:22:35):
Even he's just not.
Speaker 12 (02:22:37):
As aware of things as Carter, his brother, who's six.
So last night I had this idea to boo my
nephews after I heard Channon talking about it a couple
weeks ago, and I went over to have dinner with
my grandparents shout out Pops before because they live right
(02:22:58):
by my sister. So when my parents that I was
going to do this, they were like, oh, we want
to go with you.
Speaker 3 (02:23:02):
We want to go with you.
Speaker 12 (02:23:03):
So I'm like, yeah, of course, come on. But they
truly had no part in arranging this. Like last week,
I went and bought the buckets. I was super intentional
about what I put in them and the candy. I
coordinated with my sister because she Cooper and Carter. She's
divorced and now remarried, but she doesn't have them all
the time, so I could coordinate and figure out when
(02:23:24):
I was gonna be there.
Speaker 3 (02:23:26):
There was a lot that went into this.
Speaker 12 (02:23:27):
Yeah, so we boo them and the second my sister
opens the door, she's like, oh my gosh.
Speaker 2 (02:23:32):
What is this.
Speaker 12 (02:23:33):
Not only did they not really understand the concept of booing,
but the first thing Cooper said.
Speaker 3 (02:23:38):
Is Gamma, Gamma did it.
Speaker 12 (02:23:41):
And I'm just sitting there. My mom's liking, she's laughing.
She's like, I love that he thinks they were.
Speaker 3 (02:23:46):
I'm like, no, it's not.
Speaker 12 (02:23:50):
So they looked around the house for a little bit
and we ended up like going up there and I
explained to them what it was. And even after so Carter,
the younger one who's sis, he understood it. He's like,
they thank you, Tia. He actually told me, he's like,
you know what, next time, could you put some Pokemon
cards in there? But then Cooper like, no matter how
much we told him, he was like, thanks Granma, thanks Gamma.
(02:24:11):
And I'm just like, Cooper, it's tya, Tia did it?
Speaker 9 (02:24:15):
Does that?
Speaker 1 (02:24:16):
Does that make the booing boo on them?
Speaker 7 (02:24:21):
For that?
Speaker 1 (02:24:22):
I want credit for this.
Speaker 3 (02:24:24):
I know it's just it's fine.
Speaker 12 (02:24:27):
But I do try to like be super intentional about
things that I do with them because I don't get
to spend as much time with them because I live
farther away.
Speaker 3 (02:24:35):
So I'm like, no, Cooper, I want you to know
all the way here for me trying to do for
all this stuff.
Speaker 1 (02:24:41):
Did your mom ever say no, it.
Speaker 3 (02:24:42):
Was she was trying to be just like Cooper, not me,
because she I think my mom knew.
Speaker 1 (02:24:47):
I was like, what the heck did your did? Your
sister like laugh at this whole laughing.
Speaker 3 (02:24:53):
Everyone's like still thinking it's Grandma. It wasn't Grandma.
Speaker 1 (02:24:57):
That is so funny.
Speaker 8 (02:24:58):
It's the the worst is when you ever do something
for somebody and you go nobody knows that I did it.
Speaker 1 (02:25:05):
For him, and not that you.
Speaker 8 (02:25:06):
You know, it's like not that you feel like you
have to always take credit get credit for it, but
you don't want anybody else getting credit.
Speaker 6 (02:25:12):
For you want the credit for it. Yeah, what's TV real?
Speaker 1 (02:25:15):
Exactly?
Speaker 8 (02:25:16):
Has that ever happened to any other listeners? Where you're at,
like I don't know, a party or whatever, and you
do something and somebody else seems to be like the
person that gets the credit for it, and.
Speaker 1 (02:25:24):
You're like, wait a second, no, this was mine.
Speaker 16 (02:25:27):
This is what I did.
Speaker 1 (02:25:28):
What did you throw in there?
Speaker 12 (02:25:29):
By the way, So Cartersbury into Michael Myers right now.
So there are some Michael Myers things. I did put
Pokemon esque things in there, but not Pokemon cards.
Speaker 6 (02:25:41):
Fail, anti face, fail to fail.
Speaker 3 (02:25:45):
Cooper really likes Spider Man.
Speaker 1 (02:25:47):
Actually, no, Grandma failed on that one. Yeah she failed
her right, Yeah, yeah, really loved it. I remember one time.
It's not really I should have got the credit.
Speaker 9 (02:25:58):
So I saw on social media the Spurs basketball team
for San Antonio had beat a basketball team in New
York and they had a great social media post to
show that they won, and in my mom I'm like, man,
we at the Pistons, we should use this, Like this
would be so fired. So it casually in conversation, I
tell one of my friends, like, man, this would be
so fire if we use this.
Speaker 1 (02:26:19):
Da da da da da.
Speaker 9 (02:26:21):
When I say we played New York that next week
and they used that exact social media post and it
blew up and everybody was congratulating him, I'm like, no.
Speaker 1 (02:26:32):
One knows, no one knows. I'm just saying to take it.
Speaker 6 (02:26:35):
That's like sitting in every Monday meeting here at this
radio station and I throw it an idea and nobody
hears it, and then Mojo's like, we should do you
know X, Y and Z, and I'm like, mother, I
said that fifteen minutes ago.
Speaker 8 (02:26:51):
My favorite Curb your Enthusiasm ever, though, is the Anonymous
If you never saw that one. It was from like
one of the first seasons, but it was where Larry
was and anonymously donating money to the synagogue or whatever,
and Ted Danson was getting the credit for it, and
he was like.
Speaker 1 (02:27:06):
I'm the anonymous.
Speaker 8 (02:27:08):
It's like, anytime you give something anonymously, you're supposedly not
wanting anybody to know, but when somebody else gets the credit, Uh,
what's going on, Kelly, how you doing?
Speaker 4 (02:27:18):
Hi?
Speaker 58 (02:27:19):
So hopefully no kids are listening right now. But so
I'm that parent that totally lets my kids still believe.
Speaker 1 (02:27:25):
In bake Yeah right, okay, right yeah.
Speaker 58 (02:27:30):
And I'm the one that always is like I'm gonna
wrap the presents. I'm gonna put at least, you know,
like the big gest from him.
Speaker 1 (02:27:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 58 (02:27:36):
My husband every Christmas Eve, it's up late at night
and crosses off the name and puts from.
Speaker 27 (02:27:43):
Dad because.
Speaker 1 (02:27:46):
It's his money, saying take credit.
Speaker 16 (02:27:49):
Yeah, he always crosses that out.
Speaker 58 (02:27:51):
And they're like, dance didn't give me anything, And I'm like,
what I know?
Speaker 44 (02:27:55):
He did, and he looked at me with that like
smile on his face.
Speaker 1 (02:27:59):
He goes, I paid, that's crazy, that is unbelievable. What's
going on? Amy?
Speaker 23 (02:28:06):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (02:28:06):
How are you?
Speaker 16 (02:28:08):
I'm great? How are you guys today?
Speaker 1 (02:28:09):
We're doing great? Say hi to Anna or tiya.
Speaker 59 (02:28:12):
Anna, tia Anna. So, my best friend it was her
birthday and we boil in a bowling league. So I
went around and kind of secretly like organized everybody after like, hey,
let's all go to the bar. You know, it's it's
delicious birthday or whatever. And we get to the bar
and I had called ahead reserved table and all this stuff,
and her husband was there who they were kind of
(02:28:33):
on an outs or whatever, and he had put balloons
on like all the chairs, and she ran up to
him and gave him the biggest hug and was like,
I can't believe.
Speaker 47 (02:28:41):
You organized everybody to be here for this.
Speaker 16 (02:28:44):
Oh my god, Amy, can you believe it?
Speaker 59 (02:28:45):
Like he actually cares he did this for me, And
I was like, yep, yep, what friend.
Speaker 1 (02:28:55):
It's the bigger person that just keeps quiet to the
whole thing.
Speaker 17 (02:28:58):
But he was all.
Speaker 59 (02:29:00):
Excited that he was so thoughtful about it, and I
was like, yeah, I'm just gonna let.
Speaker 1 (02:29:03):
Me have it and wait until you see what he
does do for you or doesn't do for you next year.
You know what I mean? There we go. Yeah, what's
going on? How you doing, David?
Speaker 33 (02:29:14):
Hi?
Speaker 2 (02:29:15):
Yeah, some mojo?
Speaker 4 (02:29:16):
Good morning guys.
Speaker 16 (02:29:17):
I listen to you guys for a long time.
Speaker 7 (02:29:20):
Well, David, I'm just curious on how.
Speaker 2 (02:29:23):
She got the nickname Tia. How did that come about?
Speaker 3 (02:29:27):
Means in Spanish?
Speaker 12 (02:29:29):
I think, and we are not Spanish, nor is your father.
It was just something easier for them to say than
a ti your aunt anna the.
Speaker 3 (02:29:38):
A and the a was hard.
Speaker 1 (02:29:39):
Was it from watching like a.
Speaker 2 (02:29:42):
Or something?
Speaker 1 (02:29:43):
I have no idea whatever like Tia.
Speaker 3 (02:29:48):
My sister just recommended it and it's stuck.
Speaker 36 (02:29:51):
They love it.
Speaker 9 (02:29:52):
It's great to learn other languages. Well, she's now Tia.
Guess who's ta for now?
Speaker 2 (02:29:58):
Right?
Speaker 4 (02:30:00):
Exposing mail trash one time?
Speaker 1 (02:30:04):
The roses.
Speaker 4 (02:30:06):
Or the roses in minutes of Mojo in the Morning Man.
Speaker 8 (02:30:10):
The War of the Roses from Brother this morning. Cheated
at a bachelor party, but somebody sold them out. You'll
hear that in the seconds. First though, jingle ball tickets,
Leda is going to grab the ninety fifth collar at
eighty four to four Mojo Live eight four four sixty
sixty five sixty five four eight ninety fifth collar, good luck. Hey,
before we get into the dirty, there's a very cool
(02:30:31):
thing that is going to be happening on Thursday. That
the lady who brings you the dirty on the thirty
every single day. I hate that the woman you like
to call the lady or the woman or the girl,
they don't want to be. I was told that I
can't call anybody a girl anymore because women do not
(02:30:52):
want to be called girls.
Speaker 1 (02:30:54):
Would you rather be You'd rather be girl, wouldn't you?
Speaker 11 (02:30:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:30:56):
Then lady? If I say lady, you're crazy?
Speaker 3 (02:31:00):
Or girl?
Speaker 1 (02:31:01):
You crazy?
Speaker 7 (02:31:02):
Girl?
Speaker 4 (02:31:02):
You crazy?
Speaker 1 (02:31:03):
Just which one's better?
Speaker 8 (02:31:04):
Just like that, Shannon is going to be doing a
on stage performance by herself. In years past, she did
it with a member of the show. She did it
with Megan, and Megan's no longer with us.
Speaker 6 (02:31:16):
But Shannon, she's alive. She's just not with the show.
Speaker 1 (02:31:19):
She's still I wouldn't know. She doesn't call me anymore.
Speaker 8 (02:31:23):
So Shannon decided that she was still going to hold
to the commitment, which I tell you something. Gina, our
good friend Gina. She is so awesome that she's doing
this because this is way out of the box for this. Uh,
this lady woman girl is it?
Speaker 60 (02:31:40):
I think she has it in her She's she's so
talented and she can do anything.
Speaker 6 (02:31:44):
Let me tell you something.
Speaker 1 (02:31:46):
When woman.
Speaker 6 (02:31:49):
The organization the New Day Foundation, which Gina, I'm gonna
let you talk about because obviously you you created it.
You can't say no. It is such an hudible thing
that you do. The work that you do is so
needed that you could ask me to do almost anything.
And I'm not going to say no to you. I
said almost anything.
Speaker 42 (02:32:10):
So you'll be back next year.
Speaker 18 (02:32:11):
Can we get that on the air.
Speaker 1 (02:32:12):
Well, she's got an idea, she's.
Speaker 6 (02:32:13):
Trying to have an idea.
Speaker 8 (02:32:15):
There's a possibility you may get a performance from the
entire show. Oh bit possibility.
Speaker 42 (02:32:20):
I just okay, is this we recording this forever?
Speaker 10 (02:32:24):
Now?
Speaker 1 (02:32:25):
If you can guarantee us that we're curing cancer, will
do it? Okay.
Speaker 42 (02:32:29):
I don't do cancer research.
Speaker 28 (02:32:31):
I know, I know.
Speaker 8 (02:32:32):
We do want to help you guys out, So that's amazing. So, uh,
this is Shannon performing on Thursday. Will you explain your
your do you want to give too much away.
Speaker 6 (02:32:42):
Oh well, I already posted what my song is, okay,
So but basically, local celebrities are competing against one another
by doing lip syncs. And these are not just like
you get up on stage behind a microphone like you
see on Jimmy Fallon show and do a lip sync like.
There are costumes and dances and it's a whole thing.
So I this year have chosen a great song by
(02:33:04):
Carly ray Jefson called Call Me Maybe, and that's gonna
be the song that I'm gonna lip sync to and
compete against. Other local celebrities like Taiwan Jones. Herman Moore
is going to be on there. There are some other
radio shows on there, some TV people who else, Tanya Lalan,
Tanya Lalan, that's right from some of the plays. Kia
is doing it this year. And then we will be
judged by a fellow radio host, Jason Raithel Holly Campbell
(02:33:29):
coach Dan Campbell's wife, Melissa Coolier is one of the judges,
and then Mike Morse, a big, a big attorney in
the Detroit area. It's going to be the juge.
Speaker 42 (02:33:38):
My gosh, you have it down here.
Speaker 7 (02:33:42):
With me.
Speaker 8 (02:33:43):
So uh, this is actually fun. I get to watch
with Kevin. Last year you and Megan do an unbelievable performance.
I saw Andy Dirks do his performance which was so
cute with his kids story. I want to say, Yeah,
in years past, we saw our great friends from the
magin theater and one of the greatest human beings in
the world do a performance that should have won him
(02:34:05):
the actual thing, but we won't get into that.
Speaker 6 (02:34:09):
He was Neil Diamond.
Speaker 8 (02:34:10):
Paul Glands did Neil Diamond, and he got up there
on stage and the guy, who, by the way, I
think has zero rhythm had rhythm.
Speaker 1 (02:34:18):
I couldn't believe.
Speaker 8 (02:34:19):
I couldn't believe it, and he and I thought he
should have won. But then who else? Uh why my
brain farting?
Speaker 42 (02:34:26):
Year after year the Hackle won it.
Speaker 1 (02:34:28):
One year he showed off his his asss.
Speaker 60 (02:34:31):
I mean, the man went shirtless, he was all greased up,
and he like he went out there and he was
right out chili peppers and won the whole thing and
talked about the fact that he didn't eat for like
three weeks before my performance, and he had a peb
and J backstage that he could run off the stage
and just eat because he couldn't wait deep but yeah,
he had some abs.
Speaker 8 (02:34:49):
Jackie Page won a couple of years, right, she won
Jackie Page from WWJ.
Speaker 42 (02:34:53):
She won once.
Speaker 1 (02:34:54):
Oh, she won once.
Speaker 42 (02:34:55):
Okay, but she has performed four times.
Speaker 8 (02:34:57):
She did Thriller I remember. Yeah, unbelievable. Yeah, she was amazing.
Jackie's great. I listened to her in the morning on
the way I went last year with her squad girls. Yes,
Erica Francis and Jessica Dubnak and.
Speaker 6 (02:35:11):
All those guys that it is a Julia fun event.
It's so much fun.
Speaker 8 (02:35:15):
So can people still get tickets to go to this event?
It's at MotorCity Casino Soundboard on Thursday, right.
Speaker 42 (02:35:21):
Yes, you can still buy tickets for the balcony.
Speaker 60 (02:35:22):
They're available one hundred and twenty five dollars each and
that won't come with dinner, but you can do.
Speaker 3 (02:35:28):
You can enjoy.
Speaker 60 (02:35:29):
It's a show and glow, and you come in and
enjoy the show and then the afterglow is a cool
coffee bar and all that.
Speaker 8 (02:35:34):
And Gina explained New Day to people, because that is
honestly the reason why you're you know, everybody should help
New Day Foundation. If you can't make it on Thursday,
and you want to even just make a donation. New
Day Foundation is where you should put your money.
Speaker 60 (02:35:48):
Yeah, I mean everybody's been touched by cancer. I know
we've you guys have talked about your journey a lot
on this show You're with Chelsea. And when families are
affected by this disease, it's you know, it's a battle.
It's a physical battle, it's a mental battle, and for
many families across the state of Michigan, it's a financial battle, yep.
And so our job is to step in and provide
financial assistance and emotional support. And we're paying for things
(02:36:10):
like housing and utilities and transportation and food.
Speaker 42 (02:36:14):
And you think, well, you know, really like it happens
that fast.
Speaker 60 (02:36:17):
It literally happens overnight because families who are living paycheck
to paycheck primarily are immediately destabilized the minute cancer enters,
because there's an inability to work. And if you're living
it each week, you know, paying the bills, making it
work up until that moment there it comes, the cancer
diagnosis hits the inability to work, loss of income, and
(02:36:39):
now we have a problem. Now we're getting evicted. Now
we're getting shut off notices, and now New.
Speaker 42 (02:36:43):
Day steps in.
Speaker 6 (02:36:44):
I'm competing on behalf of a little boy named Ajay
who is has a single mom and he was just
diagnosed in April, and she works multiple jobs as it
is to make ends meet and now is not working
any of those jobs because she is helping her son
battle and she's in the hospital with him all the time.
So that's where you guys have stepped in for their family.
Speaker 60 (02:37:05):
Yeah, and about half the families that we help our
single parent families, So imagine that on top of it, right,
you don't have a parent a co parent to kind
of help you work through the days and support your
family and keep the food on the table.
Speaker 42 (02:37:17):
We have so many incredible stories that you're going to
hear on event night.
Speaker 60 (02:37:21):
It's a great opportunity for us to showcase our mission,
and each of you celebrities will compete on behalf of
a family. Like you said, so, each one has a
unique story and they're all I mean, they're gut wrenching
in some cases and we see it. You know, there's
a dad who's a teacher and you know he's been
through so much throughout the course of his life.
Speaker 42 (02:37:39):
It's not even just cancer, just all cumulat, you know.
Speaker 60 (02:37:42):
Leads up to this moment and all he wants to
do is get back to work, get back to teaching,
be back on the floor with his kids.
Speaker 42 (02:37:50):
And he's you know, he can't do it right now.
So here we come. We make sure that that family
stays in the home.
Speaker 60 (02:37:56):
We make sure that you know, he's not stressing out
about things that he shouldn't be stressing out about right now.
His only focus should be get through chemo, get well,
beat this thing back and let us let us carry
you for a little bit.
Speaker 8 (02:38:10):
How do families care about New Day Foundation that our
families those battle in cancer.
Speaker 60 (02:38:15):
Yeah, well, opportunities like this is one way. But really,
once you are receiving a diagnosis of cancer and you
go to the hospital, they usually do some type of
screenings and it's at the social work level, so they'll
identify the families who are truly the hardest hit and
they make the referral to our organization. So there's one
hundred and twenty hospitals statewide making those.
Speaker 6 (02:38:35):
Referrals to us.
Speaker 1 (02:38:36):
Gina, you are doing God's work. We love you so much.
Shannon is doing God's work by doing this thing. I
don't know how she's going to be doing this on
his day. You're going to lot of alcohol.
Speaker 6 (02:38:47):
I am not drinking before I get really I I
got to remember the words.
Speaker 8 (02:38:51):
I think you need to get drunk. Have people ever
been so drunk up there? They completely forgot it?
Speaker 6 (02:38:56):
Yah, Megan and I the first year we did it,
oh really well.
Speaker 1 (02:38:59):
Actually helped. It did help us.
Speaker 6 (02:39:01):
We didn't forget anything, but I was so nervous that year.
Speaker 8 (02:39:03):
Oh my gosh, real quick, Angela, on with us right now, Angela,
what's up?
Speaker 4 (02:39:09):
Hi?
Speaker 50 (02:39:10):
Hi?
Speaker 14 (02:39:12):
So I called in because I was gifted actually a
couple of years ago when I had stayed for cancer
from the New Day Foundation.
Speaker 8 (02:39:21):
Wow, and Angela, where would you have been if you
were not able to have a New Day in your life?
Speaker 14 (02:39:30):
I was financially financially a single mom, so I was
struggling with that and then going to nursing school.
Speaker 16 (02:39:37):
And then I got diagnosed.
Speaker 14 (02:39:39):
So she the foundation helped me tremendously, like be able
to pay my rent and you know, provide food and
put that on the table for my.
Speaker 9 (02:39:47):
Daughter when I was sick and beautiful and you and
how are you doing right now? How's how's your health?
Speaker 14 (02:39:53):
I've been a remission for five years, and that's honestly the.
Speaker 8 (02:39:57):
Most important And to know that that's the case, and
to know that you were able to keep everybody fed
and bills paid is amazing too.
Speaker 17 (02:40:09):
Yeah, it was incredible.
Speaker 1 (02:40:10):
So I thank you so much.
Speaker 14 (02:40:11):
I think what you're doing is amazing and I would
love to, you know, give back and support you know
any way that I can.
Speaker 1 (02:40:18):
That's huge, so much.
Speaker 42 (02:40:20):
This is like my whole heart right now is exploding
because we see this so much.
Speaker 60 (02:40:24):
I can't go very many places anymore without somebody saying
I heard you help someone in my family, or you
help my family. This happens to me a lot right now.
After eighteen years, I guess it will. But then this
what you just said, Angela, that people want to once
they received that help, they come back and you're actually
going to see a story about it on Thursday night
about a guy who did exactly that.
Speaker 42 (02:40:46):
Like, I have the goosebumps all over my whole body
right now, because this.
Speaker 47 (02:40:50):
Is what it's about.
Speaker 6 (02:40:51):
This is love.
Speaker 60 (02:40:52):
This is the true definition of charities that we care
for one another in our times. Indeed, right when and now, Angela,
God bless you your through it and now You're able
to do something to help others, and just by even
calling in, I'm so that's huge.
Speaker 1 (02:41:06):
Angela. Give your number to Lydia so that Lydia can
give it to Gina. Okay, okay, thank you so much.
Speaker 8 (02:41:18):
Gina in the New Day Foundation lip sync battle this
Thursday night. It is at MotorCity Soundboard. Get tickets by.
Speaker 42 (02:41:24):
Going to Foundation for Families dot Org.
Speaker 1 (02:41:28):
All right, Shannon, We're no doing no dirty, no dirty
for you on this one.
Speaker 4 (02:41:32):
Here.
Speaker 8 (02:41:33):
Tell the winner too that they won the tickets. I
gotta get to War the Roses. If I don't do it,
we'll never leave here until eleven. And I think Gina
is more important than any dirty that we could do.
I agree with you, honestly, that was the big breaking dirty.
Shannon is going to be on stage not drunk. I
cannot believe it.
Speaker 1 (02:41:48):
You're not gonna drink drink afterwards afterwards? All right, it
wore the Roses catching cheaters.
Speaker 4 (02:41:55):
I'm proud of it.
Speaker 7 (02:41:56):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 4 (02:41:57):
Get your home for War the Roses unloads.
Speaker 44 (02:41:59):
In the morning.
Speaker 8 (02:42:00):
Alexis thinks that her fiance cheated on her while he
was in Vegas with a bunch of guys.
Speaker 16 (02:42:06):
Why is that well, one of his friends actually told me.
Speaker 1 (02:42:11):
One of the guys that he went to Vegas with
said that he cheated.
Speaker 16 (02:42:16):
Yeah, while he was there.
Speaker 6 (02:42:18):
What exactly did he tell you.
Speaker 37 (02:42:22):
That they?
Speaker 16 (02:42:22):
I guess they linked up with some people and one
of the girls that's from out here, he knew her,
and then they slept together.
Speaker 1 (02:42:30):
What's your relationship with a friend that's OJE?
Speaker 16 (02:42:35):
I mean, we're all mutual friends. Like I know him
as well. He's in our friend group. So I guess
he's just feel bad because we're about to get married.
Speaker 1 (02:42:44):
That's not really much of a guy friend.
Speaker 2 (02:42:47):
Huh.
Speaker 1 (02:42:48):
And do you think that he's got.
Speaker 16 (02:42:52):
It's he's a mutual friend.
Speaker 8 (02:42:54):
Do you think that he's got feeling has feelings for
you and that he he could be just trying to
sabotage your guys' relationship?
Speaker 16 (02:43:04):
No, I don't.
Speaker 1 (02:43:05):
So you think you think you think that he's I
think he's an honest guy.
Speaker 16 (02:43:11):
He's a very honest guy, very straightforward. He would have
done the same if I did it. He would have
went and killed him on me, Like you know, he's
just like that.
Speaker 8 (02:43:21):
So you want us to call up your boyfriend to
see where he's going to send a dozen for roses?
Your fiance, See where he's going to send a dozen
for roses? When when are you guys supposed to be
getting married?
Speaker 17 (02:43:34):
It's in a few weeks actually, Like, yeah, is that
why he was in Vegas?
Speaker 1 (02:43:40):
Was this like an actual party type of thing?
Speaker 17 (02:43:42):
It was a bachelor party?
Speaker 20 (02:43:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 16 (02:43:45):
Wow, you don't have to say anymore because he's no
longer my fancy. Well does he know that he's about
to find out?
Speaker 8 (02:43:56):
So you want to call him up and see where
he's going to send the roses? And you want us
to do the war of the roses?
Speaker 45 (02:44:02):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (02:44:03):
So you okay, so you didn't. You did not confront
him about this at all after the friend told you
this information.
Speaker 8 (02:44:10):
Now, yes, all right, we're gonna call him up to
see where he sends flowers to. We're hoping that he
sends the flowers to Alexis, but it doesn't seem like
it matters. Hang on one second, okay and mute your phone.
Speaker 10 (02:44:26):
Okay, Hello, Hi.
Speaker 18 (02:44:42):
Is this Miles? Yes, this is hi Miles.
Speaker 6 (02:44:47):
My name is Nicole and I'm calling you this morning
from a new online floral company called roses bloom dot
com with an offer for some free flowers. If you
have like thirty seconds to answer two short survey questions,
We're gonna gift you a dozen long stemmed red roses
that can be sent to the person of your choice
anywhere in the country, and it's totally free of charge
to you. So I'm just calling to see if you'd
(02:45:08):
like to take partner free offer thirty seconds.
Speaker 10 (02:45:11):
Uh yeah, why not?
Speaker 1 (02:45:13):
Okay?
Speaker 6 (02:45:14):
Have you purchased flowers in the last six months? Miles?
Speaker 48 (02:45:19):
No, I haven't.
Speaker 6 (02:45:20):
Okay, do you plan on purchasing flowers in the next
six months?
Speaker 22 (02:45:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 28 (02:45:26):
Yeah, I can see myself of doing that. Okay, I'm
a little bit of romantic side.
Speaker 6 (02:45:32):
Okay, that's actually all I needed from you. And so
now as I thank you for participating in that roses
bloom dot com survey, I can go ahead and gift
you this dozen long stemmed red roses. So I just
need to get some information about who they these are
going to go out to later today, Okay, starting with
a first name and a last name, and again they
can go anywhere in the country.
Speaker 28 (02:45:51):
Okay, for sure, alexis Alexis.
Speaker 6 (02:45:58):
Okay, And is her telephone number.
Speaker 28 (02:46:04):
Her phone my phone number or her phone.
Speaker 6 (02:46:07):
Number her phone number. I already have yours.
Speaker 36 (02:46:09):
I called you, Yeah, five eighty six.
Speaker 2 (02:46:18):
Zero.
Speaker 6 (02:46:18):
And what's her relationship to you?
Speaker 10 (02:46:22):
She's my fiance.
Speaker 18 (02:46:24):
Okay, Miles.
Speaker 6 (02:46:26):
We do something unique at roses bloom dot com. And
instead of sending a paper card with the flowers, which
is what is customary, we're gonna send in this case
alexis a text message alerting her she has a delivery.
And then it's also going to include a voice memo
that I'm going to record here with you in just
a second, so you could say something a little bit
longer than you would put on a card. She'll be
(02:46:47):
able to play that and know who the flowers are from.
Does that make sense? Yeah, okay, I'm gonna count you
down and you just start talking three two one.
Speaker 34 (02:47:02):
Just something special for the rest of our lives, okay, Miles.
Speaker 6 (02:47:10):
I also have to let you know that this call
is being recorded for quality and training purposes. Are you
okay with that?
Speaker 48 (02:47:17):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (02:47:18):
Sure, okay, Miles.
Speaker 8 (02:47:20):
I'm gonna come on the call real quick and then
we'll get those flowers off. But I need to let
you know one last thing before we go any further.
And I just wanted to let you know that while
we have been talking to you and you've been sending
the flowers to your fiance that she has been listening
into this entire conversation and she just heard every word
(02:47:45):
that you just said. At least she knows I love her, Miles.
This is the mojo in the morning radio show.
Speaker 9 (02:47:57):
And Alexis call this up to see where you were
going to send a dozen free roses.
Speaker 8 (02:48:05):
And this is the part that's going to be the
hardest part, and it's because she believes that you might
have cheated on her while you were at your bachelor party.
Speaker 48 (02:48:23):
Okay, yeah, that that it happened, So.
Speaker 2 (02:48:31):
I guess that was the way to a phone call, Miles.
Speaker 8 (02:48:34):
Alexis says that she believes that you might have cheated
on her, and she said that the reason that she
believes this is because somebody that you went to.
Speaker 9 (02:48:46):
Las Vegas with. Actually you want to explain, Alexis, Yeah,
I know.
Speaker 16 (02:48:53):
What you've been doing. I know what you didn't in Vegas.
James told me everything with some bitch that was so
you don't worry about having a fiance any or I'm
good what you you were gonna get away with it?
Speaker 53 (02:49:06):
You know, James tells everything you're talking about you don't have.
Speaker 16 (02:49:11):
This is the moment to come. This is a moment
to come to come to truth. You don't need to
lie anymore. You wasted everybody time he said, I don't have.
I don't have nothing to do with you anymore, So
that the least you could have done with tell the truth.
Speaker 10 (02:49:23):
Stop that, please?
Speaker 2 (02:49:27):
What are you talking about, Miles?
Speaker 10 (02:49:30):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 1 (02:49:31):
We don't know much, Miles.
Speaker 8 (02:49:34):
We don't know much about anything more than just alexis
believing that what one of your friends said is true.
Speaker 1 (02:49:43):
What is your relationship like? What is your relationship like
with this guy?
Speaker 10 (02:49:50):
He's one of my James close fruit. But I mean,
I don't tell mean like, was he in the bedroom
with me with some Why are you you're lying?
Speaker 16 (02:50:01):
You don't remember the girl with the red hair?
Speaker 17 (02:50:03):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (02:50:04):
So long.
Speaker 28 (02:50:06):
There's gonna be women around, there's always.
Speaker 16 (02:50:11):
You're you're a whack. Goodbye, I'm good, I'm good.
Speaker 8 (02:50:18):
Why why Miles? Why would why would one of your
friends think that you cheated? Were you alone with other
with this woman?
Speaker 34 (02:50:26):
That, uh, you don't know, you don't remember, he's just hated.
Speaker 28 (02:50:32):
No, I didn't cheat on it.
Speaker 10 (02:50:34):
I didn't cheat.
Speaker 6 (02:50:36):
That, okay? Did you put yourself in a situation though
that maybe he could have misconstrued that something was going on.
Speaker 10 (02:50:43):
It's a bachelor party.
Speaker 28 (02:50:45):
There's nothing but women around. I mean, who goes to
a bachelor party and not have women around?
Speaker 1 (02:50:52):
Why do you say he's hating? What do you think?
What do you think is going on with him and her?
Speaker 2 (02:50:59):
Leah?
Speaker 28 (02:50:59):
I don't know, man, I'm just saying, look, my woman's
fine as hell. And other brothers want to want to
holler at us as simple as that, Like, what kind
of guy goes back to his boy's girl and say, hey, man,
your man.
Speaker 48 (02:51:13):
Is cheating on you.
Speaker 28 (02:51:14):
What do you what he does that?
Speaker 1 (02:51:16):
What do you Why do you think that she would
do which way?
Speaker 4 (02:51:20):
Like?
Speaker 10 (02:51:20):
Why would he say it to her if that was
the case?
Speaker 8 (02:51:23):
But why would you Why would she believe that you
were alone with another woman without all the other rest
of the guys.
Speaker 1 (02:51:29):
There were you.
Speaker 28 (02:51:33):
It's it's Vegas, it's a Bashel party. Your mind's going
to wonder.
Speaker 1 (02:51:36):
I don't know, but were you alone? Were you alone
with some other women?
Speaker 36 (02:51:43):
No?
Speaker 28 (02:51:43):
I was not alone with any other woman. Everybody there
was women around, simple as that.
Speaker 1 (02:51:49):
We need to hear from Jane. Yeah, we need to
get James on. We need get everybody's story except for
his hold on one second, okay.
Speaker 4 (02:51:56):
Yeah, cheater, cheater Pumpkin. Mojo in the Mornings wore the Roses.
Speaker 1 (02:52:06):
Detroit.
Speaker 6 (02:52:11):
This is Mojo in the Morning, Mojo, He's amazing.
Speaker 31 (02:52:15):
Live call the show now eight four four Mojo Live
eight four four sixty six five six five four eight.
Speaker 8 (02:52:36):
Budge in the Morning or the Roses cheated while I'm
the bachelor party?
Speaker 1 (02:52:41):
Do we believe that that happened? Or do we believe that.
Speaker 8 (02:52:47):
This is just somebody that has given some false information,
maybe doesn't know the true information, is just going off
of something else.
Speaker 1 (02:52:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (02:52:58):
I would like to know also, and this is just
something that you hear before, and we've heard it before.
And where the rosis has anybody ever heard about somebody
cheating on a bachelor or bachelorette party. I always feel
like you'll hear some of those stories sometimes when people
have their bachelor bachelorette parties that sometimes even right before
the wedding, like this one, which is how crazy close
(02:53:20):
is that?
Speaker 1 (02:53:21):
I mean less than month? Honestly, I'm gonna be honest
with you yeah.
Speaker 9 (02:53:25):
And I don't know where this mentality or where this
perspective came from, but I thought growing up that that
was kind of the purpose of a bachelor party.
Speaker 1 (02:53:37):
Like I thought it was you.
Speaker 9 (02:53:39):
I thought it was like, that's your last hurrah, and
so you thought, like, go have sex with somebody because
that's it. Now again, this is like before I was
thirteen years old, Okay, but this is like what I
literally thought the purpose of a bachelor party was, like,
this is your last night out to have fun while
out do whatever you want to do because you're.
Speaker 1 (02:53:57):
About to, you know, commit yourself to somebody life. Wow.
Would you ever? Of course not if, but it was.
Speaker 8 (02:54:04):
But on a totally hypothetical basis, what if the woman
that you were marrying said, hey, free pass.
Speaker 9 (02:54:12):
I would question if we were really ready to be Okay, good,
I'm just making sure I'm testing your moral compass.
Speaker 1 (02:54:18):
Uh, toy, what's up? It's Mojoe in the morning?
Speaker 33 (02:54:20):
Hi?
Speaker 17 (02:54:21):
Hi?
Speaker 1 (02:54:23):
You thought so?
Speaker 50 (02:54:24):
Honestly, I it sounds like she's grasping at straws. I
feel like either they're doing something on the side or
she's just trying to find a reason to leave him.
Speaker 1 (02:54:33):
Who's there, who's there the the what is the guy
named him?
Speaker 47 (02:54:39):
And part?
Speaker 8 (02:54:40):
So you're wait, so wait, So you're saying that either
she the woe this woman Alexis and the guy meaning
the guy that gave her the information or doing something inside.
Speaker 1 (02:54:50):
Yes, yes, that's interesting.
Speaker 50 (02:54:52):
I'm not just going off of my friend at instantly
and leaving my fiance.
Speaker 1 (02:54:55):
That's just too quick. But see she's saying it was
a picture though, that's how she was calling.
Speaker 36 (02:55:00):
She just said a picture of the girl.
Speaker 17 (02:55:02):
She didn't say what it was, a picture.
Speaker 4 (02:55:03):
Of the.
Speaker 1 (02:55:06):
Redheaded girl that he talked about. Yeah. Interesting, Dave, what
do you think it's? Mojo on the morning warre the Roses?
Speaker 46 (02:55:12):
I mean to me, why first did she say James
tells me everything. Is there a little slumping extra going
on the side, or maybe you just win to extra?
Speaker 8 (02:55:22):
Wow, the first two calls we pick up, our people
are doubting Alexis in her faithfulness.
Speaker 1 (02:55:29):
That's amazing.
Speaker 17 (02:55:30):
How long was the relationship.
Speaker 6 (02:55:32):
I'm more apt to believe this James guy because there
were other people there that could either corroborate his story
or say no, he's full of crap. He's just trying
to stir up drama. So That's where I go, Why
would he lie about this? There were other people around
that probably either saw or felt like something was definitely
(02:55:54):
going on.
Speaker 1 (02:55:55):
What's up? Ericai is Mojo on the morning warre the Roses.
Speaker 7 (02:56:00):
That's going on?
Speaker 26 (02:56:01):
Good morning her first time, long time. My whole thing
about this, I just feel that the free and violated,
you know, regardless of the situation. It's a bachelor party.
You got all your fellows there, which is you doing
what you're going to do, regardless of the situation that's
supposed to be between y'all.
Speaker 2 (02:56:20):
That's just that's bro co broken.
Speaker 1 (02:56:22):
You know, rule number one.
Speaker 28 (02:56:23):
You keep what we do between us.
Speaker 26 (02:56:26):
Women shouldn't be involved, especially your fresh and be the
first one to tell you, old lady, what's going on
that You got to get them squares at the circle
by the way.
Speaker 1 (02:56:35):
It's it's interesting though that she said that they have
mutual friendship with this guy.
Speaker 34 (02:56:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (02:56:40):
I thought this at.
Speaker 12 (02:56:41):
First too, but then I was like, why would he
bring it up? Why would he bring it up? It
made me think maybe Miles has been doing sketchy stuff
for a while and it's finally getting to a point
where he's about to marry this mutual friend of theirs,
so he had to bring it up.
Speaker 8 (02:56:56):
But if that is the case, then I questioned James
even more, and his intentions makes me almost think that
if this guy James who calls up and says, hey,
your guy cheated, might have feelings like I'm starting to
if that's the case, Like if it was just a
random Hey, they were there and you know he did
(02:57:16):
this and he has a friendship with her, and there's
nothing there. It's just that he just wants to make
sure that she knows be careful he's out there having
sex with some girls in Vegas.
Speaker 1 (02:57:24):
Yeah, you know. Then I'm thinking, Okay, then maybe he's
looking out for her.
Speaker 9 (02:57:28):
But I feel like as a guy, because I've been
in situations where I felt as though some of my
friends may have operated in a way that maybe I
felt was inappropriate or I didn't have the full story.
The last thing you do is go tell that person
significant other something because you have no idea the situation,
and you owe it to your friend to first have
a conversation with them to figure out what's going on.
Speaker 1 (02:57:50):
You don't go run and.
Speaker 9 (02:57:51):
Break up at home and you don't even have the
full knowledge of the situation and what's going on.
Speaker 8 (02:57:55):
Angel wants to make a comment on that last collar,
calling it bro code. What you want to say?
Speaker 44 (02:57:59):
Angel just kind of continuing on about the whole bro
coad thing. Like, honestly, a group of friends of ridless
of whether the male female, my group of friends have both,
we've all told each other one cheated on the other's partner.
We'd tell the other's partner, no matter if it was
a girl and a girlfriend, guy and a guy friend girl.
Speaker 1 (02:58:16):
Have you ever had this happen where you actually had
to say something to somebody?
Speaker 44 (02:58:20):
Uh No, but my current partner's brother in law had
to do it with his ex.
Speaker 8 (02:58:25):
Really, what did he do he had to he had
to say? He said he witnessed somebody cheating.
Speaker 44 (02:58:31):
He walked in on a situation during their kid's birthday.
Speaker 1 (02:58:35):
Oh what not that as the kid's birthday?
Speaker 44 (02:58:41):
Well they were, they were flirting, but yeah.
Speaker 1 (02:58:43):
But it wasn't like penetration.
Speaker 9 (02:58:50):
But I feel like you have to give that person
the opportunity to talk to their spouse. How do you
just say, I'm gonna go be the person too. Yeah, Hey,
Sam wants to say something. What do you want to say?
Speaker 7 (02:59:00):
Sam?
Speaker 15 (02:59:02):
The reason I was actually calling this. I had a
similar situation. I had a mutual friend of both of
ours let me know that my now ex husband was
actually cheated.
Speaker 59 (02:59:10):
On me as well, and then it turned.
Speaker 13 (02:59:11):
Out to be true.
Speaker 20 (02:59:13):
I had not suspected anything at the time, so obviously
I didn't jump right on board with it. But then
because of them letting me know, just they just felt
that this person had been doing like my ex have
been doing stuff for a little while, and they did
keep the quote unquote bro code, but then felt horrible
for me and the kids, so they ended finally letting.
Speaker 15 (02:59:30):
Me know and it was true.
Speaker 1 (02:59:31):
Yeah, So how did you feel when they told you?
Speaker 15 (02:59:36):
I was devastated because I didn't really believe that that
was the case at first. Then I had to sort
of paying more attention to rose colored classes on for
quite a while, and then I realized I was thinking
back and like things have been going on, and sure
enough it was and I end up leaving and I'm
much happier now.
Speaker 2 (02:59:52):
Wow.
Speaker 8 (02:59:54):
The idea of calling James is a very good idea,
and that actually was an idea that got stopped by
a conversation that happened right after we did the War
of the Roses when Alexis called us up to say this,
you don't need.
Speaker 16 (03:00:10):
To talk to James. He doesn't want to get involved.
Speaker 6 (03:00:13):
He was the one that kind of started all this,
so he's already involved.
Speaker 16 (03:00:20):
Well I'm just I don't think he wants to get involved,
So just.
Speaker 8 (03:00:25):
Letting you know, how would how would he not think
that he's already involved when he calls and tells you
this and you call off a wedding?
Speaker 16 (03:00:31):
Well, I mean I promised him I wasn't gonna mention
it with him.
Speaker 17 (03:00:35):
That told me so.
Speaker 16 (03:00:38):
Honestly, I shouldn't have said his name, but you know,
I was just upset in the moment.
Speaker 1 (03:00:43):
So that, by the way, is interesting that she calls
up and is like, do not get him involved?
Speaker 3 (03:00:50):
How does she just put her brand on?
Speaker 1 (03:00:52):
Right?
Speaker 2 (03:00:52):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (03:00:52):
What's up? By Star? Did she swear I got to
dump this picking up?
Speaker 2 (03:00:57):
Star?
Speaker 1 (03:00:58):
She was swearing to somebody that's in the car. Who
in the car with you?
Speaker 4 (03:01:00):
Star?
Speaker 58 (03:01:01):
Oh No, I wasn't swaying anybody.
Speaker 1 (03:01:03):
I heard you say that.
Speaker 8 (03:01:04):
The yeah you said okay, then you're then you're swearing
to yourself you have Tourette's.
Speaker 1 (03:01:10):
What's what's going on? Star?
Speaker 21 (03:01:12):
Crap? Hey, guys, how are you so like this is
full of crap?
Speaker 16 (03:01:15):
For sure, her and James have to be screwing around,
that's one percent.
Speaker 1 (03:01:19):
So hearing her tell us that she doesn't want us
to call him that puts you over the edge.
Speaker 7 (03:01:25):
Oh absolutely, But.
Speaker 21 (03:01:26):
Even before I just heard that, I thought that her
and James are screwing around and they're just trying to,
you know, come up with something to where it makes
James look like he's a guilty one when he really
is not.
Speaker 1 (03:01:38):
Why why did you think that?
Speaker 47 (03:01:40):
I just, you know what, I've been in a situation.
Speaker 21 (03:01:43):
Where my ex husband cheated on me and him and
the girl they tried to do the same thing. So
I just I feel that James didn't do anything wrong.
Speaker 22 (03:01:52):
Was I there?
Speaker 21 (03:01:52):
Absolutely not. But in the same aspect, I think that
her and James are screwing around.
Speaker 9 (03:01:58):
Interesting and you're such a Did somebody come tell you?
How did you find out?
Speaker 4 (03:02:04):
Oh?
Speaker 21 (03:02:04):
Yeah, my hex husband friend told me and it was
true because I did and I did not say anything
to him at first. I waited a while and I
caught him.
Speaker 8 (03:02:14):
Did that friend get a little piece of action afterwards?
As a thank you for telling me?
Speaker 17 (03:02:19):
Find you speak absolutely not.
Speaker 1 (03:02:21):
Okay, I'm just making sure in that one.
Speaker 10 (03:02:24):
No, but no.
Speaker 16 (03:02:25):
So I feel bad for.
Speaker 7 (03:02:29):
Because he really acted.
Speaker 21 (03:02:32):
Like he didn't know what was going on and she
wouldn't even let him get a word in edgeways.
Speaker 36 (03:02:36):
Anyways.
Speaker 8 (03:02:37):
Yeah, so James and Miles, Destiny thinks that they both
are guilty.
Speaker 1 (03:02:44):
What do you mean by that, Destiny?
Speaker 41 (03:02:50):
Oh? Sorry, I feel like all three of them have
some sort of guilt.
Speaker 16 (03:02:56):
The way that she was talking on the.
Speaker 45 (03:02:57):
Phone and wanted to protect him, and way that this
James guy didn't even bother to attempt to talk to
his friend at his bachelor party in the James guy
just I don't know, they all seem guilty. I've been
in a situation similar and with two guy friends my well,
(03:03:17):
my boyfriend and my guy friend he was cheating on me.
The guy friend walked in on him with the girl
that he wanted me to be best friends with that
he was cheating on me with, and he gave him
the opportunity.
Speaker 30 (03:03:27):
He said, you tell her tomorrow or I do.
Speaker 45 (03:03:30):
And I feel like that's how it should have been
gone about.
Speaker 1 (03:03:34):
Interesting.
Speaker 8 (03:03:34):
Yeah, that would have been an interesting way to handle it,
to tell him that, yeah, I will tell you this.
There is one thing for sure, James will never be
invited to another bachelor party again. There's any other bachelor parties.
A second date update. This is Mojoe in the Morning
(03:03:55):
all right, whole time a seconds Mojoe in the Morning show.
So Shannon went, you and your husband Wes have like
a moment where couples have these all the time where
you got to have like that one on one time.
Speaker 9 (03:04:08):
And I'm not talking about that one on one time.
I'm talking about like you got to work through some stuff. Yeah,
how do you guys do it?
Speaker 6 (03:04:14):
We go for a walk.
Speaker 8 (03:04:16):
So the walk that you go through so instead of
like going to another room or you know, telling the
kids to go up to their rooms because you guys
got to have a conversation, a dult conversation, you guys
go out and just walk.
Speaker 6 (03:04:29):
We get some movement in fresh air and it seems
to help, especially me, like be doing something as we're
talking through whatever it is that we need to be
talking to. And we walk, not around the walk like
it's wuss. We walk miles. Okay, I work out when
we when we are working stuff out.
Speaker 8 (03:04:50):
You say that because of how much activity he likes
to get in his life. Yeah, not that he's got
a lot to talk about. Well both, okay, all right.
Speaker 6 (03:05:00):
And it was funny because yesterday we actually did this.
It was such a nice day and you know, we
had some stuff to talk about, and so he's like,
let's go for a walk. I said, okay. So we're walking,
and every once in a while we would like stop
and sit on like a bench or whatever and like
chat for you know, twenty thirty minutes and then get
up and walk more. And the whole time we're talking
(03:05:22):
about some really really personal things that are happening. And
at one point we paused, like took a break, and
I looked around. We were sitting. He calls it on
a dead person bench, on a bench that has like
a plaque, you know, commemorating somebody sitting on a dead
person bench. And I'm looking around at all the people
(03:05:45):
who are walking their dogs by us. There there was
an engagement photo shoot happening. There was a huge family
doing like a family photo shoot. There was a dad
and his two kids fishing. I'm like, all these people
have just heard every detail of what we have been
(03:06:06):
talking about because we're so in it and focused and
not even realizing that people. Someone could have just been
standing there the whole time listening to what we were discussing.
Speaker 9 (03:06:16):
Do your talks always stay at the same decibel or
do they occasionally raise voices and get bigger?
Speaker 6 (03:06:22):
It's me they get louder.
Speaker 1 (03:06:24):
Oh really, are you the loud one?
Speaker 7 (03:06:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (03:06:28):
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (03:06:31):
You think she looked crazy? Let me you hear when
she hears sometimes her back get off straight.
Speaker 6 (03:06:40):
I'm like, please, don't let anybody that I know.
Speaker 1 (03:06:44):
I walked around. Do you ever have it?
Speaker 38 (03:06:46):
Where?
Speaker 1 (03:06:47):
Does he have to ever go?
Speaker 2 (03:06:48):
Or do you have to do that?
Speaker 6 (03:06:50):
Like I'm telling you, we're both locked in when we
are having intense discussions, and so we're I'm not even
paying attention. And it wasn't until I step back and
I'm like, oh my god, the world is happening around
and everybody is hearing. What's you know what we're talking about?
Speaker 8 (03:07:03):
Is it wild for you when you're having these in depth,
like a couple moments where you're talking and trying to
work through some stuff. Is it wild for you to
see all of a sudden, children running through grass and
like families taking pictures and all the stuff that you're
describing like I would sit there and almost think, is
this like a movie happening in front of me?
Speaker 12 (03:07:22):
This reminds me of when I do like girl dinner
with my besties, and like we're talking about some dirty
stuff that we're doing with our men, and then we
look over to the table next to us and it's
like a family of fours.
Speaker 18 (03:07:35):
Coloring on the kids mine.
Speaker 8 (03:07:38):
I think that's honestly how Chelse and I would do
it after we found out. We used to do it
where we had an in depth conversations on our deck,
our back deck because we thought that we were outside
and the kids couldn't hear us, only to know that
Jacob's bedroom was right above the deck and Jacob heard
every conversation. So then we got to a point where
we started going to restaurants to do it. Like we
(03:08:00):
would go out and go sit in a restaurant only
to note that the bus boys heard or.
Speaker 1 (03:08:05):
The waitress has heard all this stuff.
Speaker 9 (03:08:07):
Yeah, like that's you don't because you want to be
able to like be yourself and say yourself.
Speaker 1 (03:08:12):
It'd be like doing could you imagine you in therapy
walking through a park, but that like.
Speaker 6 (03:08:18):
Didn't you used to do that? With your old therapist.
You would walk. It's it's so good for you, it's
so good for your brain. And especially I think we're
all a little ad dah where like if I'm sitting
across a table from my husband, I I cannot focus
for the life of me.
Speaker 8 (03:08:32):
Oh, kitchen tables are the worst place to have an
argument because I get antsy. You bring up a really
good point. I can't believe you. Remember that Tom Fitzpatrick
was my therapist. His office was next to the Farmer's
market in Royal Oak. He had that it was like
that house that's right there, and he would on a
beautiful day, go let's take my dog for a walk,
and I'm like, I'm paying you how much money?
Speaker 1 (03:08:52):
In an hour?
Speaker 9 (03:08:53):
We would go for walks through Royal Oak. And this
was no joke. A couple of things. People would either go.
Speaker 8 (03:08:58):
Hey, it's Mojo and I guys, we're going through a walk,
or we would have the moment where we were walking
and I'm going to.
Speaker 1 (03:09:09):
Do you ever like it works you up a little bit.
But it was actually good to work through the therapeutic.
Speaker 6 (03:09:15):
It really is a help. It's very helpful.
Speaker 1 (03:09:17):
Is it weird?
Speaker 8 (03:09:18):
If you and West are having these moments and you're
getting to like an in depth thing, and all of
a sudden, car driving through the neighborhood or something like that.
Speaker 3 (03:09:28):
I would take it as a sign like whatever you.
Speaker 8 (03:09:30):
Were talking about, Yeah, that's wild eight four four Mojo
Live eight four four six sixty five six by four eight.
When you and whoever you're in a relationship with, boyfriend, girlfriend, husband,
wife are having like those moments where do you guys
have them? Where do you have the the the conversations
and how do you how do you deal with it?
(03:09:50):
The whole idea of walking is an idea because a
couple of textures here are going, oh my god, Shanna
has such a great idea going for a walk, and
another person saying, uh, we got to try the walk.
Speaker 1 (03:10:00):
That's actually a great adea.
Speaker 6 (03:10:01):
And also if I'm at home, I can't I can't
sit still, so I'm like putting away dishes or folding
laundry or cleaning out the fridge. And that's so like
I'm then I'm not fully focused on what the topic
is at hand.
Speaker 1 (03:10:15):
Was this something you always did or Wes kind of
introduced this, know what you like?
Speaker 36 (03:10:20):
What?
Speaker 2 (03:10:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (03:10:20):
West kind of introduced it.
Speaker 3 (03:10:21):
And how does it work in the wintertime.
Speaker 40 (03:10:23):
I don't know.
Speaker 1 (03:10:24):
I don't know yet. You haven't had one of those.
You haven't had really, Can I tell you what it
did for me?
Speaker 2 (03:10:29):
Though?
Speaker 8 (03:10:29):
There was problem was when we did it on the
back deck. It made for when we had friends over.
I never wanted to sit on the back deck because
I always looked at it as that place Chelsea and
I always.
Speaker 1 (03:10:39):
Were fighting that back there.
Speaker 4 (03:10:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (03:10:41):
Matter of fact, I think you and i've been out.
That's where our conversation. That's where our conversation was, the
back deck conversation. Yeah, that's kind of We're going to
the back deck there right now. It's funny because last
night we were out for dinner and we were we
were out Chelsea, myself and our friend Grant, and we
took them out for dinner because he's moving to Florida
(03:11:02):
and so we wanted to go out.
Speaker 8 (03:11:04):
And I was in your neighborhood having dinner. There are
so many people walking in that neighborhood. Yeah, tons, especially
yesterday it was beautiful.
Speaker 1 (03:11:11):
How do people not hear everybody's conversations?
Speaker 8 (03:11:14):
Like couple people walking, you know, exercising, although everybody's wearing
air pods nowadays, I feel like, yeah, so they're all
got some music or something going.
Speaker 1 (03:11:23):
What's up Ryan, how you doing?
Speaker 28 (03:11:26):
I'm doing pretty good.
Speaker 1 (03:11:27):
What's up man? How do you How do you and
your lady have have your conversations?
Speaker 26 (03:11:33):
Well, we have our conversations, especially when it's a little
heated when the kids around.
Speaker 2 (03:11:36):
I'm buy the lingual.
Speaker 26 (03:11:37):
I speak Spanish and English and the kids only speak English,
so it's kind of easy to keep it a secret
from them.
Speaker 1 (03:11:42):
Boy, that is hysterical.
Speaker 8 (03:11:44):
So you guys, when you guys fight with each other,
so the kids don't know you speak it in Spanish.
Speaker 6 (03:11:51):
Be careful because those new air pods instantly translate.
Speaker 27 (03:11:55):
Oh yeah, they sure do.
Speaker 1 (03:11:57):
And they started asking questions, Daddy, what does pull?
Speaker 2 (03:12:00):
Dummy?
Speaker 4 (03:12:03):
Why you know speaking to English?
Speaker 1 (03:12:06):
Oh my god, that's funny. What's up, Ashley High?
Speaker 32 (03:12:09):
How are you good?
Speaker 8 (03:12:13):
We're talking about Shannon and in her marriage, they go
on walks when they need to have conversations as a couple.
Speaker 56 (03:12:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 38 (03:12:22):
So there's this like public uh walking area has a pond,
you know, and a lot of people go there, and
so we'll walk around and we'll you know, talk and whatnot,
and it's just so awkward and someone's walking by, we'll
just stop arguing.
Speaker 13 (03:12:41):
Yeah, like nothing's wrong.
Speaker 16 (03:12:44):
You know, we're just on a walk.
Speaker 44 (03:12:45):
You know, there's nothing going on, but we're just having
our argument.
Speaker 38 (03:12:49):
And then we'll stop talking when someone walks by.
Speaker 8 (03:12:52):
That's funny, like they yeah, because you don't want them
knowing what's going on. Can I ask a question because
Shannon also mentioned this too. You'll walk around on was
it a lake? People fishing and stuff, Ashley. When you're
around the pond and you're around the lake, do you
think that the people that you're in conversations with Shannon's
husband and your husband, Ashley, ever think about wanting to
drown you in that list?
Speaker 38 (03:13:15):
I mean, sometimes we're pretty close.
Speaker 17 (03:13:17):
You can just push.
Speaker 7 (03:13:20):
There.
Speaker 1 (03:13:20):
That's how a Dateline NBC episode actually starts.
Speaker 8 (03:13:24):
Right, they were on a walk and dealing with stuff.
So thank you, Ashley, I appreciate it. Take care of yourself.
It is funny in relationships, and I think people don't
understand this, but you need to have these moments because
you know, there are some couples that just don't ever
talk about it, like they never and honestly, then that's
(03:13:45):
where resentment goes into play. And then you start just
being pissed off, and then next thing you know, you're
talking to a complete stranger who you're trusting to actually
give you the advice on what to do instead of
talking to each other on it. You know where Chelsea
and Icepot is now. It's the podcast. As crazy as
it sounds, we do this podcast. It's the most intimate
thirty minutes or whatever thirty minutes plus that.
Speaker 1 (03:14:08):
We have with each other.
Speaker 6 (03:14:09):
You actually connect.
Speaker 8 (03:14:10):
And I'm sitting literally at that same kitchen table that
I cannot have a conversation with her at, but we're
sitting in front of microphones and I can actually hear
her because I got headphones in.
Speaker 1 (03:14:19):
At least I think I hear her. Sometimes she does
what you guys do all the time. You weren't listening
at all. You just heard the exact same thing, just
like I got.
Speaker 8 (03:14:29):
The last podcast we did was two to five percent
and it was because her cancer. Only two to five
percent of people ever get that cancer that she had.
And she's like that freaks with her mind because there's
not a lot of people out there to go and
look as a resource. So in the middle of the podcast,
they go, so how many percent of so we called
it the two to five percent. What's going on to day?
Speaker 1 (03:14:51):
How you doing?
Speaker 7 (03:14:53):
Good morning?
Speaker 56 (03:14:54):
Guys going, Well, hey, not me, but my neighbors I noticed,
like when they're arguing, they have a toddler, so they'll
go in their car.
Speaker 2 (03:15:04):
But I live in apartment complex.
Speaker 56 (03:15:05):
Yeah, so like if I'm in and out of the
house a lot in the morning, or like whenever it is,
it's just kind of awkward.
Speaker 2 (03:15:10):
It's like I didn't see them, like just kind of
look at me and stop talking.
Speaker 1 (03:15:14):
And then.
Speaker 8 (03:15:16):
It's funny because they got to have a quiet spot.
But you almost wonder are they arguing or are they
having sex in the car? Like what's going on in there?
Speaker 56 (03:15:24):
No, No, they're definitely arguing because you can see like
the way they're talking to each other.
Speaker 28 (03:15:29):
And then no, go in the house and it's just
really quiet.
Speaker 2 (03:15:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:15:32):
Good.
Speaker 8 (03:15:35):
Honestly, that's the time that I go for a walk.
I want to walk in see what my neighbors are
talking about. All right, buddy, we'll talk to you later.
Speaker 1 (03:15:43):
We'll see.
Speaker 4 (03:15:43):
Uh.
Speaker 8 (03:15:45):
All right, that does it for today. We are out
of here War the Roses this morning. So many people
want more updates on this war of the roses. A
lot of people upset that a friend would sell out
his buddy like that. I can't believe how many people
lately have been and sticking up for the guys that
are being accused of cheating. That seems like it's happening
more and more. Make sure that you check out all
(03:16:08):
our podcasts. You can get them on Spotify, Apple Music,
the iHeartRadio app. Just search Mojo in the Morning. Make
sure you listen to the Mojo in the Morning Show
if you miss any portion of it.
Speaker 1 (03:16:20):
Twenty plus years of idiocy and still going.
Speaker 54 (03:16:24):
In Detroit, Toledo, in West Michigan, it's Mojo in the Morning,
