Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
This topic is so perfect because I don't even think
that the guys ever know that their women are faking
when they do this. But Channon with a great topic
that deals with anybody in a relationship.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
So first off, I want to congratulate my friend Jess
because last night was the grand opening of her new
space for her business. It's called Meta in Moxie, and
I encourage you to look it up, ladies. Yeah, ladies.
It's just like a gathering space, a community for women.
And so I went to the grand opening obviously to

(00:35):
support her, and got to see all of my closest friends,
but also a lot of girlfriends that I haven't seen
in a really long time, just people that I loved
getting to catch up with. So we're all like chatting
throughout the night, and one of the girls that I
saw had me cracking up because she was talking about

(00:56):
we were all talking about how tired we are right now,
like everybody's just in this season of like there is
so much going on, and she's like, well, I have
perfected the pretend of being out cold when my husband
comes to bed at night after watching like the Wings
game or whatever. You know he has so that I

(01:19):
don't have to have sex or talk to him.

Speaker 4 (01:22):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
And so last night she was like, you guys, I
need to get No, this is not Jess, this is
not just at all.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
No, I would make that very clear.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
This is somebody else there who made me promise I
would not say her name. But she's like, even though
thirty seconds prior to her come to him coming into
the bedroom, she's like, I'm scrolling on TikTok Instagram. But
as soon as that I hear that TV click off,
She's like, I put my phone on the charger, I
turn on my side, I mess up my hair a
little bit, I close my eyes, and I just pretend
I've been out for an hour so he doesn't bother me.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
And telling everybody agreed.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
That we have all done this at some time or another.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
I you know, you saying this makes me realize that
I think this is definitely an A number one.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
I don't know if there are any guys that do it.
I don't think that they would.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
There's no way unless it's you're faking sleeping because you
know you're gonna get in a fight or something for sure.
Right eight four four Mojo live eight four four six
sixty five six five four eight.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Have you ever.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Faked sleeping when your significant was coming to bed and
it was because of whatever reason you tell us what
the reasoning was of why you faked sleeping. Now you're
gonna be you're gonna get into a relationship, and you're gonna.

Speaker 1 (02:32):
Go hey, yeah, open lower.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
The only time I've ever faked sleeping was when like shrill,
have friends come over and I didn't want to talk
to bro, like, oh my god, I'm not here, I'm
sleep sleep. Don't say we're telling you, but I don't
want to talk to you. Don't hear anything exactly, I'm
out like a light sex. I couldn't imagine a guy
not waking up or fake.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Guy would never do it.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
He would never do it because he didn't want to
have sex, but a lot of women would probably.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
So you know what I most recently did it is
when we got our puppy, who's no longer a puppy,
he's two years old. But bo, that dog cried and
cried and cried the first couple of weeks. Really, if
I'm being honest, that he came home and was downstairs
in his crate and I felt like I was always
the one that was getting up to like go check
on him or let him out. So there were, sorry,

(03:27):
we multiple occasions that I pretended I was in a
deep sleep so that it wasn't me that had to
get my butt out of bed, it was him that
Wes had to be the one to go down there
and figure out what was going on, just.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
Like puppies, sand right, what's going on?

Speaker 6 (03:42):
Hi?

Speaker 7 (03:42):
So we have four kids, We've been together for.

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Almost fifteen years, and I can't even try to pretend
like I'm asleep because one.

Speaker 8 (03:50):
Of the kids as always mom Mom.

Speaker 7 (03:53):
So of course i like, hey, if the kids are.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Calling you, I'm like, oh my gosh, I can't even
get away with pretending to be asleep.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Because the kids are in it.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
I'm telling you, parents do it all the time. It's
the midnight feeding or whatever.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
The deal is.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Yeah, no, but I but I get it. I understand it.
But it's like it's like the puppies. It's any of
the kids wanting anything.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
You know, as a kid, I used to do it
too when I wanted my parents to carry me upstairs
to my back sleeping in a car. What's up? Sam?

Speaker 9 (04:25):
So of course I've pretended to be asleep because that's
just natural for every woman. However, I know like when
I have to like fake that i'm extra sleep, like
sleeping extra hard.

Speaker 10 (04:38):
Because he has a sign like that I picked up
on when he wants to make cookies, so I know,
kind of preemptively, but I've got a fake that I'm
sleeping even more when he makes.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
The noise what is that noise?

Speaker 10 (04:56):
Like he sniffs, so he'll like rub my shoulder and
help make extra sniffing sounds like to let you know
that he's away yet, to let me know that, hey,
I'm going to try this. And that's when I just
think that I'm sleeping just a little bit extra heart
because sometimes kids are the deaphony.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
I love that.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
I love he's got the sniff down. What's going on, Angela?
How are you hi?

Speaker 7 (05:26):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (05:27):
Good morning? What's happening?

Speaker 7 (05:30):
Yeah, I fake sleep all the time, especially Monday through Friday.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
And I always leave my phone running because then he
thinks I'm really asleep because he knows I'm not going
to just fall asleep in my bed, like.

Speaker 7 (05:45):
Turn it off. So if that's running when he walks
in and I'm fake snoring. He knows not to.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Touch thee Oh my god, does he ever like get
in bed and huff and puff because he's like, crap,
she's in sleep in right now?

Speaker 7 (06:00):
Yeah, and then I'll like fake sleep talk like.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Women. I love it. What's going on Monday through Friday?
What's going on?

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Heather?

Speaker 8 (06:11):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (06:12):
So I've done the fake sleeping before, but lately it's
actually been because my fiance moved out of town and.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
He wants to talk on the phone at night.

Speaker 8 (06:20):
I'm just tired, Okay, So I have I have fake.

Speaker 1 (06:24):
Falling asleep on the phone so that he will just
stop talking.

Speaker 2 (06:27):
To I'm not trying to put some bad stuff in here,
but what if he was in trouble and needed to
talk to you.

Speaker 7 (06:35):
I can hear him because I'm not really asleep.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
On the phone falling to sleep. Yeah, what's going on? Jenny?

Speaker 8 (06:43):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (06:44):
How are you? Good morning?

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Good morning? We're learning that it's all women doing the
fake sleeping. What's going on?

Speaker 4 (06:51):
Yeah? I actually do it all the time, but a
lot of times and my husband gets like really drunk
and they're just kind of I think it's to a
point where he's just super drunk. He does what he wants.
So when I try to leave from like a house
party or a bar and he doesn't want to listen,
I'm like, okay, you can stay with my friends. I'm
gonna leave and go home and go to bed, And
if I'm still up when he gets home, I will

(07:12):
act like I'm sleeping, so I don't have to deal
with him.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
I'm telling you, and you probably are just hoping that
that he stays at that party way later than you
want to even have him home.

Speaker 1 (07:24):
Aren't you.

Speaker 4 (07:25):
Yes, exactly. Even if he comes home and he's like, Jenny,
you know, tries to wake me up, I'm like, I'm
literally trying to sleep, like, let me sleep, and he's like, okay,
I'm so sorry.

Speaker 8 (07:34):
So Mattie, that quite often.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Jenny, thanks for calling. Appreciate you so much. What's going on?

Speaker 8 (07:41):
Ka?

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Hi, k hey, Hi?

Speaker 8 (07:44):
What's going on? Everybody?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Okay, we're learning that you guys like to fake it
when you're in bed, but it's the different kind of
fake it.

Speaker 8 (07:52):
He is absolutely so. First, I want to say I
called a couple of weeks ago and I missed my
first time. I love you so much, kiss. I just
want to say that I so my favorite but I
can't fake sleep because of when I'm out. For him
to know that I'm out the way that I sleep,

(08:13):
I'm kind of open, so he gives a little face
to lip action and then I'm woke, So there's no
faking sleeping in my house.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
He's got that look down, doesn't he.

Speaker 8 (08:27):
Yeah, he knows exactly where to go to wake everybody up.

Speaker 1 (08:31):
My God.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
By the way, I got to tell you something. I
think that's the best euphemism. Uh one, last one. A
guy finally called.

Speaker 1 (08:40):
In, Steve, are you there, I'm here, I'm here. What's up, Steve, Harry?

Speaker 7 (08:45):
What's going on?

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Ry?

Speaker 7 (08:46):
My wife is the total opposite man. She falls asleep
and fake sleep so I can wake her up.

Speaker 8 (08:53):
Oh you know yeah, yeah, oh yeah, little role player.
By the word bry To way first.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
T uh long time, I like it? Yeah, you know.

Speaker 7 (09:06):
Hey, hey Monjoe, I just lied. I call all the time.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
I'm gonna used to that.

Speaker 9 (09:12):
Boy.

Speaker 8 (09:13):
Yeah,
