Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojoe in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:00):
Now, Shannon, you were up in East Lancing for the
Michigan State game in Michigan Michigan State camp and you
lost your husband.
Speaker 3 (00:08):
I sure did.
Speaker 4 (00:09):
Yeah, Wes and I went and we took Lucy and
Smith with us to the game, and we love going
because Kieran, my stepson, is a cheerleader for Michigan State,
so we of course wanted to see the game. But
really we went to see him cheer, and we were
sitting in the section where he was cheering, but we
were probably I don't know, fifteen or twenty rows back,
(00:32):
so we had a view of him. It wasn't the
greatest you and I'm like, I'm watching the game with
the kids, We're taking pictures, we're eating, we're drinking, and
at one point I noticed all of a sudden that
Wes was just not sitting. It was me, the two
kids in between us, and then Wes on the aisle,
and I thought, oh, he probably went to try to
take like a better closer photo or video of Kieran cheering.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
No big deal.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
Ten minutes goes by, Maybe twenty minutes goes by from
the time that I noticed that he's not there anymore.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
Half hour goes.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
By and Smith and Lucy are looking at me and
they're like, Mama, where did West go? I said, I,
honest to God, have no idea. I thought he went
to take a picture of Kieren, but maybe he went
to like get food or but he had been gone
for a really long time. All of a sudden, in
my pocket, I can feel my phone blowing up, text
(01:22):
message after text message after text message. I take my
phone out of my pocket, and apparently what had happened
was he went down to the front row of the section,
made some friends with the people that were sitting in
that front row, was taking photos and videos, but ended
up on NBC showing off his Michigan State cheerleading shirt.
(01:45):
He's like doing this little like wiggle and like, first off,
what was that move that you were doing?
Speaker 3 (01:49):
But second I lost him. NBC found him, and everybody
was texting me about it.
Speaker 1 (01:55):
So people were texting.
Speaker 3 (01:56):
You screenshots and videos us on TV.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Can you send us a picture?
Speaker 3 (02:02):
I saw?
Speaker 1 (02:03):
It was so good.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
I had so many listeners.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
By the way, if you d MD it to me
or sent it to me, I was dying because he
I mean, he's like front and center.
Speaker 1 (02:12):
That is funny things. So you're so you're wondering where he's.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
At, Where the hell he is.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
He's in the best seats on TV. Number one thing.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
They're showing the game, they're showing the crowd.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
What I go, First off, you ditched us and he
had no idea.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
He comes back to the seats and I looked at him,
I go, well, you are all of a sudden famous
on NBC right now.
Speaker 3 (02:39):
He had no idea, no clue.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
That's oh my god.
Speaker 3 (02:44):
And to your point, it's funny.
Speaker 4 (02:45):
My service was very spotty all day, but especially in
the stadium, so like some of my texts were going through,
some of them were.
Speaker 3 (02:51):
But all of a sudden everything came through.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, that is so.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
That is so fun did he so he had no
clue that even the TV took him like he was
just sitting there. But oh my god, that is great.
That The best part of that is the whole time
you're wondering.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
Where the hat is, right because he'll get food for
the kids. You know, they like constantly want can we
get can we get chips?
Speaker 3 (03:13):
Can we get food?
Speaker 1 (03:15):
In sports?
Speaker 2 (03:16):
Really Michigan's Michigan States for food at the football games.
Worst food, you might as well honestly eat your hand,
it's better.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
But really he'll do that and he'll be back in
ten minutes, not even five minutes. Like he just goes
down and pops right back up. So like something was weird,
and yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
How bissed would you be? He stayed there for like,
well he was going.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
To because the person he was sitting next to, God,
I wish he was awake.
Speaker 3 (03:42):
He's not a weak I don't think.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
But he was sitting next to like a Michigan State
football legend, some guy who.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
Has really up on the on the in the stadium.
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Oh.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yeah, I was talking to him. I was talking to
his wife.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
They told me to just stay here, but I was like,
oh no, I better go get back to my family.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
Who's way up there.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
Well, what's up, Blake? How you doing all right? Good
morning guys, Good morning, what's happening?
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (04:07):
I was watching them, I saying this decent looking man.
Speaker 5 (04:11):
I was like, oh my gosh, that's what I wonder.
Speaker 6 (04:16):
If he's gonna get talked about on Monday.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Were you looking then? Did you did you DV DVR
have your you know, recorded there? Did you rewind to
see if you can see Shannon anywhere.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
No, I did not see her, because that's what.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
I would have done. If I saw it, I would
have gone, Oh, I wonder where Shannon and the kids are?
On the look, I'd be like this new family. Can
I tell you though, something when I go to games.
If I go to a game and I have like
friends that are in the front row and stuff, and
you're like sitting in maybe not the greatest of seeds.
If you have them, call you, is it bad that
you would want to stay there the rest of the game,
(04:51):
especially because he's close to.
Speaker 4 (04:52):
A sum only we do that so normally we have
the student athletes parents each get like a pair of
tickets or something, because we normally have really really great seats.
When it's just like Wes and I and the past
couple of games that we've taken the kids do a
lot of people around us don't show up, so we
just stay there and there are spectacular seats.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
They're three rows from the field.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
But this time he wanted to be where Kieran was
cheering so we could actually see him, and he wasn't
anywhere near that section.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
So that's why we bought tickets. Like far, I mean
except for west a front row.
Speaker 1 (05:21):
But what's up? Sam? Hey? Hi, what's going on?
Speaker 5 (05:26):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (05:27):
First time?
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Long time? Oh my god?
Speaker 5 (05:32):
Okay. So I was in Lexington this weekend and everyone
I'm not like the biggest football or like, you know, Michigan.
I'm a Michigan fan, but I'm not like big into football.
And I'm watching the TV and I'm with my girlfriend,
who doesn't she's not a listener unfortunately, but she's like
there's what.
Speaker 6 (05:47):
She's like, who you know that guy?
Speaker 5 (05:48):
And I was like, no, just that's Shannon's hudsan and
she's like what and yeah, front and Center.
Speaker 1 (05:55):
Yep, front and center Shannon and the Bleeds.
Speaker 3 (05:59):
What was that movie doing? Why? Why? No?
Speaker 5 (06:02):
I thought he was like slinging like a towel around
his head, like he was just into it.
Speaker 3 (06:05):
Though, I mean, has he ever been a stripper? Because
that was kind of I asked him that often.
Speaker 1 (06:10):
What's up Kimberly? Hello?
Speaker 7 (06:13):
Hello?
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Hi?
Speaker 7 (06:14):
Yeah I saw him too. I was watching The Name
with my husband and then I'm like, oh wait, I
think that was Wes. He's like who we were rebounding.
I'm like, that's gonna be him, and you know, He's like, Okay.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Let me ask you this.
Speaker 2 (06:26):
If your husband left you for a period of time,
like Shannon was saying, and you heard that he was
down in the front row on television when he got back,
would you be excited to show him he was on
television OR'd you be like what the f were you doing.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
For so long? Both?
Speaker 7 (06:41):
I'll be upset that I wasn't next to him, And
I think I saw Kieren too. I was looking about
for him.
Speaker 3 (06:46):
Yeah, he was a few times.
Speaker 5 (06:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
It's funny because so when he does the games, when
Karen does the games, does he do all the games
or how do they how do they work that?
Speaker 4 (06:55):
How does Cheerley's done all of them? I think except
for one so far. I don't know how they decide
where you go, Like.
Speaker 1 (07:01):
Who gets what do you do basketball too?
Speaker 4 (07:03):
I don't know. I'm not sure. He does a lot
of volleyball right now, and then he does football.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
That's awesome, that's such a cool thing.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
I don't think he's traveled yet.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
That's usually like the the people who have been on
the teams a bit longer.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Who gets to do that?
Speaker 2 (07:16):
But I was watching Channel four and they did a
story on our local station wd IV and it was
a really good story about the sparty.
Speaker 1 (07:25):
There was a couple three four years ago.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
I guess the SPARTI was a woman who she met
her husband or boyfriend or whatever it was. I wasn't
watching that closely. Who is on the basketball team or
one of the basketball managers. And I did not know
that when you're sparty, you cannot tell anybody that you're sparty.
And the way that people find out is when you
graduate you wear the feet.
Speaker 4 (07:48):
Yeh, yeah, that was kind of al there's always a few,
there's a few Sparties.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
What's what's up, Stacy?
Speaker 5 (07:55):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (07:55):
Hi, how are you good?
Speaker 1 (07:56):
What's going on?
Speaker 5 (07:58):
So?
Speaker 6 (07:59):
I my parents live in Florida and I got a
video of my husband at tailgate who brought our children
there and they were not in the video. Yeah, he
made national news in Florida. And he sent them to
(08:21):
the whatever the chicken place is and whatever is right
there and he just let them go on their own.
And they're fourteen and thirteen.
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
One of my favorite calls we ever had Stacy on
our show was the person who got caught cheating at Arts,
Beats and Eats when they showed a picture of people
walking on arts, beats and eats, and the husband of
this woman was walking holding hands with his mistress and
they were the file footage on television.
Speaker 1 (08:52):
That did you imagine?
Speaker 6 (08:55):
I mean, it's so funny because my mom goes.
Speaker 5 (08:58):
I think I saw.
Speaker 1 (09:00):
What a way to go on. Yeah, that would be crazy.
