Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's about Joe in the morning show. So Anna is
(00:02):
going to Mexico on an influencer trip with the Detroit
Pistons and was all excited for this, saying and yesterday
I was being dad with her because she is like
crazed over what she's gonna wear. And I said to her,
I go Anna, you gotta have stuff in your closet.
You don't need to go out.
Speaker 2 (00:20):
And I buy.
Speaker 3 (00:21):
No.
Speaker 1 (00:21):
No, She's like, I gotta buy, I gotta buy. And
I'm like, are they paying you a clothing wardrobe. They're
not paying her clothing.
Speaker 4 (00:27):
Ward am I allowed to say what they sent you
and why you're so crazy? They had mood they had
like mood boards for clothes that she's just supposed to wear,
like outfit ideas of this is the vibe for this event,
This is the vibe for this event.
Speaker 5 (00:41):
Which are vibes that I don't currently wear. By the way,
I wear all black, and this is very much like
you need to be colorful.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
They're basically sending you there and they're basically bribing you
to go.
Speaker 4 (00:54):
Oh my god, those are ideas of how she should try.
Speaker 6 (00:57):
They're bribing you to go with it.
Speaker 1 (01:00):
Just an airline, ticket in a hotel, stay in food,
and take us to the game.
Speaker 6 (01:04):
And you got to pay for all this yourself. I know,
I don't think so.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
Yesterday Mojo was making me feel like I should have
negotiated something with.
Speaker 6 (01:13):
Them, your agent, like nor Shut.
Speaker 5 (01:17):
There are so many creators.
Speaker 6 (01:18):
I just would Norm allow this to happen. Absolutely, Norm
would Norm would.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
Are you a are you behaving like a cheap hooker?
Speaker 1 (01:29):
Always say if you're gonna be a hooker, be a
high priced hooker.
Speaker 5 (01:32):
When you decide to get out of radio radio, I
will hire you to be my agent. But you're still here,
so I am currently my own agent.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Okay, so are you so explained? So explain what happened.
She had a problem with her wardrobe.
Speaker 5 (01:44):
Yes, So I think this stems from me just being
unbelievably busy since starting this job. In the best way,
by the way, no complaints. I just feel like I'm
always doing a million things at once, and Mojo's gonna
get on me for this. I'm or may not have
been shopping for my outfits for Mexico while we were
(02:04):
doing the show.
Speaker 6 (02:05):
One day, I knew.
Speaker 1 (02:09):
I had I had people that worked here that were buying,
you know, forks and knives for their new houses and
all kinds of stuff.
Speaker 5 (02:16):
Let me also just say we've had multiple meetings about
this Mexico trip, and every meeting they stress how important
outfits are because not only are we being photographed by
the Pistons team for their content, but we have like
some very notable fashion brands that are going to be
there also photographing us. So I'm taking this very seriously.
I'm shopping during the show, and I was on websites
(02:39):
that I have shopped at before, so I had an
account with them, and I found everything I need. I
clicked by everything like I didn't have to input any
information because I already had accounts. Well, we're approaching the
trip date and nothing has come yet though it is
supposed to have arrived, so I am freaking out. I'm like,
(03:00):
it must have got delayed. I go on, I check
all of the shipping tracking. Everything either says delivered or
returned to sender, and I'm like, no, holy cow, what
is going on? So I have to do more research
and I notice that everything I ordered got sent to
my old apartment.
Speaker 6 (03:19):
Oh.
Speaker 5 (03:21):
Then I was running around trying to track down either
like the UPS facilities, Like, hey, it's getting returned to sender.
Can I come to your facility and just pick it
up really quick? They're like no, that's not how it works.
I'm calling my apartment building. I'm like, can I get
into my old mailbox because it was delivered by USPS.
They're like no, technically, like we're not allowed to go
(03:44):
into residence mailboxes. That's against the law. But you can
try to contact the former residence and see if they'll
open it. Regardless, I have no outfits for Mexico. This
is a very important trip and.
Speaker 6 (03:56):
You paid for them. Are you gonna get your money back?
Speaker 5 (03:58):
That's another concern of like, not only do I have
to figure out what I'm wearing now, I'm like, am
I getting refunded?
Speaker 4 (04:05):
They need to send it back, like the people that
live in your old apartment need to send it back
right for them to because.
Speaker 5 (04:14):
Would they keep it?
Speaker 6 (04:15):
That would be crazy.
Speaker 4 (04:17):
I mean you would hope that they would right, like
wrong address, yes or whatever, would take it back.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
A forwarding address. So I'm like to my apartment building,
can't you guys just send it to me or I'll
drive there and get it.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
I've moved before.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Not in an apartments by move house to house and
the people that lived in the old house would sometimes
come over and bring a stack of new mail over
for us. You don't think these people that live in
that can you go over there and just knock on
their door.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
So I've been talking to the property managers, who I
don't have the greatest relationship, but so no, they were
that property manager. Sure, but we're trying to figure it out.
So I ordered a bunch of stuff yesterday again on
one day shipping, and hopefully it comes in today, but
otherwise I am sorry.
Speaker 7 (05:04):
See that was my initial question. With the initial packages.
Did you pay for like expedite shipping or one?
Speaker 5 (05:10):
No, I didn't because I was being so proactive. I
ordered these like two weeks ahead of time, and I'm
just like, why are they still not here?
Speaker 1 (05:18):
This is God telling you that you need to save
your money.
Speaker 5 (05:21):
I know that's what you keep saying. I don't wear
colorful outfits, and like that's everything they want us to wear.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
You got a lot of clothes.
Speaker 4 (05:28):
But also the painstaking process of shopping for the It
does take time. Like I feel your pain.
Speaker 1 (05:35):
This is a personal question, but it's for a good reason.
What sizes are you? Maybe there's a listener your size
that has stuff in their closet they can lend you.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
Yeah, please send it medium up top, small on the bottoms.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Wait, what is the isn't there like a thing like
a place where you can like borrow clothes from people.
Speaker 6 (05:52):
Isn't there like a poshmark?
Speaker 4 (05:53):
No rent the runway but which I love I use
all the time. But you you it takes you. Yeah,
I was gonna say it takes a couple of days
for you to get your stuff.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
I'll probably end up at Summerset this afternoon.
Speaker 7 (06:03):
So you see me say hi, But look, send this
stuff to the wrong address.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
Have you done that before?
Speaker 6 (06:09):
I don't.
Speaker 7 (06:09):
I done made a mistake like when Chelsea when I
heard that she had cancers, going through all that stuff.
I'm ordering stuff from Amazon.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
Ship it.
Speaker 7 (06:16):
I'm like, damn with an address and send that to
pop up? Is going to your house? Add to cancel it.
I've done that several times since, stuff to my grandma
house to see an address.
Speaker 6 (06:26):
Se.
Speaker 4 (06:26):
I do that with websites all the time because I'll
send gifts same as you and then you don't realize,
like you just think it's automatically going to your house
and then I'm like, oh crap, it went to Smith's
school because I sent his teacher, you know, books class.
Speaker 6 (06:38):
From Wait, so you were sending stuff to my house?
Is that what you're saying?
Speaker 7 (06:42):
I mean, like like I sent the Red Robins, Like
you know, you send things to people and then you
go the day or day after the next time you
pop on Amazon and you try to order something for yourself,
you click it, ship it. You come back like, wait
a second, where did I send that? And it's going
to your house. Imagine if it was something scandalous, no,
like a little you know, a little flesh line.
Speaker 6 (07:03):
I always use that as your example. You creep Chelsea
would think that I'm the one order.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Do you have those on subscribe and you need to
do it every.
Speaker 5 (07:18):
Eight?
Speaker 6 (07:19):
Joe Live.
Speaker 1 (07:21):
Eight for four six six five six five four eight.
Do you have a story that relates to this text?
Call me and we will call you for that's got
a I got one here It says, uh, this is
a text. He here it says did you not do
forwarding your mail from USPS? You can also do that
(07:43):
with ups? Did you not register for a forward mail
at all?
Speaker 6 (07:47):
Or no?
Speaker 8 (07:48):
No.
Speaker 5 (07:48):
So when I moved, my apartment asked me for a
forwarding address and I gave it to them. But I
didn't know I had to do it with the UPS.
Speaker 1 (07:54):
I think you have to do it with definitely the
United States Postal Service, but I I I didn't know
you could do it with you PS either.
Speaker 6 (08:01):
Maybe this person knows more than we do.
Speaker 1 (08:03):
Another person here says I do this all the time,
and I end up sending my stuff to ex, my
ex's house. My ex never gives it to me because
he hates me so much. Stacy, what's happening? How you doing?
Speaker 9 (08:19):
I'm okay? How are you guys?
Speaker 6 (08:20):
Good? What's going on? Stacy? You can relate to what
happened to Anna Rob?
Speaker 10 (08:25):
Yes, I can.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
And as a mom of five kids, when you spend
like five hundred dollars on clothes at the beginning of
this school year and they all get sent to an
old address. This was an address from ten years ago.
Oh yeah, and thankfully though I didn't live too far
and I was so stressed out, I was like, what
am I gonna do? So I actually just got a
(08:48):
sticky note, I wrote my name and my phone number
on it, and I went and left it on their door.
And thankfully it was a really nice young man. He
called me back. He waited for all the packages to come.
He let me come and pick them up whenever I
needed to, And that's how I ended up getting my packages.
Speaker 1 (09:07):
That that's really nice that he did that. That was
good that that he was, you know, nice enough to
do that. Now, this is what we all have to do.
We all have to go into our Amazon accounts or
whatever other apps we use, and we got to clean
out the old addresses that we have in there. Because
I go in there sometimes I have far too many
addresses that are inside this thing.
Speaker 6 (09:26):
What's up, Ashley? How you doing here?
Speaker 10 (09:29):
I do you good?
Speaker 8 (09:31):
So I literally do just like two weeks ago, orders
and stuffer Mazie's And they went through my.
Speaker 4 (09:36):
Old address and I realized it because it was delivered
and I showed up there.
Speaker 9 (09:41):
I like know my neighbors really well.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
And the new people didn't answer the door, like lashed
my info.
Speaker 3 (09:49):
And they never called that.
Speaker 8 (09:52):
Catch my purse is mass, especially when you.
Speaker 4 (09:57):
Leave your phone number and say I'm gonna I will
come back in get it.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
You know, you know you should do Ashley, You should
try your old house key and see if it still works.
If they didn't change the lots yet, just go in
there and steal their couch, right. Yeah, that sucks that
they didn't help you. Uh, artinis is why do I
always you can say artinis like our penis?
Speaker 6 (10:26):
What's going on? Listen?
Speaker 9 (10:29):
Have you ever ordered like pick up and went to
the wrong store?
Speaker 6 (10:34):
Oh? Yeah, like the wrong location? Yeah? Where did you
do this too?
Speaker 10 (10:40):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (10:40):
Man?
Speaker 9 (10:40):
I do it all the time, like coney or like
I order taco bill. I'll do like pick up on
the app and it'll connects you to the closest store
and not the store that I've.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Done with Chipotle, the Chipotle by my house gets all
my wrong Chipotle because it's easy, Oh my god. And
I've done it also a Starbucks. But the thing is
interesting is I wonder what they do with the leftover
stuff that's there?
Speaker 5 (11:04):
Do they I'm assuming just like the stuff that gets
dropped on the floor, you get to eat.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
Yeah? That sucks. What's up? Sam?
Speaker 7 (11:11):
Hi?
Speaker 8 (11:14):
Hi? So I am on the opposite end of Van rob.
I have lived in my house for ten years and
I still get packages delivered for so do I been
to the state. It has been ten years?
Speaker 6 (11:28):
Any good? Do you guys? Do you ever keep some
of the stuff?
Speaker 8 (11:33):
Well, I don't send anything back by now it's been
ten years, Tony. You should the.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Woman who used to live in my house, I actually
know her really well. So I'll text her and be like, Brende,
your J Crew order? Can you know your J Crew
order came to my house.
Speaker 8 (11:47):
I'm a memorial wind chime memorial.
Speaker 6 (11:55):
Wow, that's amazing, and what's up?
Speaker 8 (11:58):
And hey, I.
Speaker 9 (12:01):
Did this with door Dash. I ordered DoorDash to my
work for an office party, and then that night my
husband I got.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
Really high and we ordered all this junk food and
it showed up at my office.
Speaker 6 (12:11):
So the next day, did you get it?
Speaker 9 (12:13):
The next day somebody else came in and they were like, hey,
we've got this order for you, and they brought it all.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
Into my office.
Speaker 1 (12:19):
All I had that happen to me with the radio station,
the old radio station. I ordered food and it went
to the old radio station, and I actually got a
call from the DoorDash guy saying, hey, I'm here. There's
nobody here. And I paid the guy cash. I said, Hey,
if I gave you twenty bucks cash, would you bring
it over? He drove it to my house, which wasn't close.
It was like fifteen minutes away, but he did it
(12:40):
for twenty what's up, Katie.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Hey, Lnjas, Hey, what's going on?
Speaker 10 (12:47):
Well? I was going through breakup and I moved out
during the day while he was at work, so didn't
end very well obviously, and then ordered a bunch of
news stuff for my new place and all went over there,
and then I had to text him and be like
ocause I couldn't get my stuff, but no.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
Answer, Well, because it didn't go well, did you leave
him for another guy?
Speaker 6 (13:11):
Another dude?
Speaker 9 (13:12):
No?
Speaker 6 (13:13):
No, no no, did you eventually get your stuff?
Speaker 10 (13:17):
I don't know Amazon's greatest, so thankfully they.
Speaker 1 (13:22):
Hopefully it was underwear and now he has your old
It's a little partying gift.
Speaker 6 (13:27):
As we leave.
Speaker 1 (13:29):
Hold on a second, Kelly, speaking of underwear, what happened?
Speaker 2 (13:33):
I always order large purchases and Victoria's Secret and any
time I do that take it to this most random house.
I got fed up with it. I Google image searched it.
I apparently thought I was dread up from moblines. And
they went over to the house and I like counted
super hard on the door and basically said, I had
the police on the phone at date and give me
my item. Oh I wouldn't get the police to come over.
(13:55):
They were scared, but I walked away like I could
have gotten killed. I don't know why. I thought I
was from like the Bot Wives or something.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
Can you imagine these people getting a bunch of Kelly's
undergarments or whatever.
Speaker 6 (14:11):
Stuff's not cheap, though, this is wild. In last Call, Charmaine,
Hey guys, good morning morning. What did what did your
wife do? Charmaine?
Speaker 9 (14:22):
She ordered an iPad, a brand new iPad from T
Mobile and got it delivered to an old address that
was from like twelve years ago. But she showed up
at nine pm to get that tablet and luckily they
gave it to him.
Speaker 6 (14:34):
I would have thought it was a drug deal gone wrong.
I would have been like, what's going on.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
I also would have wanted to throw up realizing that
my iPad.
Speaker 9 (14:42):
Was brand new iPad.
Speaker 1 (14:45):
Oh my gosh, that's awesome that they were nice enough
to let you get nine pm.
Speaker 6 (14:49):
Thank Yeah,
