five six five four eight, the ninety fifth callar is
going to win tickets. Good luck, jor the Mornings Dirty
on the thirty. All right, we're gonna get you caught

(00:21):
up on what's trending in the Dirty on the thirty.
What's Upshair?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
So this Halloween terrorist attack we heard about on Friday,
you guys know what I'm talking all right, Yes, I
do have a little update on that.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
Yeah. So I'm I'm gonna post some audio two from
the TV station, can I do? Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
So what we had heard on Friday was that the
FBI was in Dearborn and Inkster, two communities to local
to our Detroit listening area, and they had foiled this
planned Halloween terrorist attack, Thank goodness.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Well.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
An attorney by the name of amer Ma kled is
criticizing FBI Director Cash Betel's claims that his client and
four other young suspects so five people in had plans
to carry out this attack.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
He says, they're.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
Merely gamers who engaged in some like talk online, and
they're also and recreational gun activities. Okay, And he said,
these kids in the gaming community, there is a weird
way that they talk to each other. The FBI, by
the way, did not even describe the alleged plan, or

(01:23):
at least I have not been privy in any sort
of details. Nor did they say how many people were
arrested or detailed the charges they faced.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Yeah, day today there will be probably they're saying charges
that will be issued. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
So this the all male group that is involved here.
These five individuals range in age from sixteen to twenty
years old, all born in the United States. This attorney
maintains this case is all about protected speech friends talking
on the internet. There was absolutely no plan of a

(01:58):
terrorist attack or a plan to actually harm anybody, all.

Speaker 1 (02:03):
Right, So this is going to be very interesting to
see what they come up with for this because right
now the FEDS are completely you know, not saying anything.
But also the other people that aren't is the state
legal people like our Attorney General Dana Essel is saying
that she's in cooperation with the FBI right now, So

(02:25):
there is belief that they have something on these guys
and that this lawyer is using this as his defense. Now,
I will say this to you, it will be wild
to see if this actually turns out to be that
they were just online doing Fortnite stuff. But they do have.
But they do have. They say that they've found a

(02:45):
cachet of weapons, and it just so happens that they're
recreational users something. I don't have the clip that I
was going to play for you. I heard it this
morning when I was waking up to Good Morning to America.
But it was a reporter based interviewing that that attorney
in bringing it up. I'm going to be old enough

(03:05):
to know that you don't just talk like that these days.
Well if you're if you're on video games and you're
just doing the game speak stuff. I didn't realize that
they could even There had to be a reason why
they were able to target these guys like they all
of a sudden. You just don't They're not looking at
everybody's for sure. There's more to the story. I agree
with her. Hopefully they released the audio so we can

(03:27):
hear exactly what was say, yeah, well that's a transfer.
That's a hell of a defense on an attorney's part though,
that this is just gamers gaming.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
I don't know what's going on with Sydney Sweeney. So
she she ended her engagement earlier. It was earlier this year, okay,
after a long term relationship with her now ex fiancee
Jonathan Devino. Over the weekend, she was spotted with some
friends at this very famous restaurant in Santa Monica. It's
called Giorgio Baldi. It's like a place for celebrities to

(03:57):
see NB seen. This is during Game seven. So Saturday
got into a vehicle at the end of the night,
driven by her ex fiance and was heard screaming at him,
I don't believe you, please leave me alone. Nothing more
to the story except that witnesses who were around the
vehicle at the time say this was a very very

(04:19):
tense situation. So something's going on there. Diplo raising lots
of eyebrows after going on a podcast over the weekend
and talking about how he once stated Katy Perry, which
I remember, but he claims to also have once stated
Katie's current boyfriend, former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
But that place is horny places. It's just a very city.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
They have a hot now.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
And now Katie Perry's dating Justin Trudeau.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
I know pretty fire.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I know so many people who.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Like kind of David Katy Perry like me, oh, did
you date k Perry? I meant the Trudeau I did date,
true too, Yeah, that's gonna go.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
That was a weird one though, really why because I'm
just Pians. I call him Prudeau. Yeah before now I have, and.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
I think he's hot.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I think he was.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I think he was joking set it with a straight
face though. That's why everyone's like, was he kidding or
was he not kidding? And lastly, another story local to
our Detroit listening area. This is out of Rochester Hills.
Did you guys see this going around Facebook? I saw
it on the Macomb County News Facebook page. It's a
photo of a king size Reese's peanut butter cup that
was given to children or in this case specifically a

(05:30):
child on Halloween. And on it is a little address sticker. Okay,
so like my dad like uses these for like return addresses,
you know, you like stick them on your letters or whatever.
It says this guy's name, his address. Apparently the mom
thought that this was kind of interesting that this guy
was handing out these huge candy bars with his address sticker.

(05:52):
Did some digging and this address and name belongs to
a registered sex offender. Soeople are saying, please check your
candy for strange things, this being one thing that was found.
And then I saw also over the weekend in Canton,
somebody found a legitimate needle, like a sewing needle.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Which is candy. I always heard there was like a
myth that there was ever needles and stuff in candy
like that was never any cases, But in this case,
the Canton police actually are verifying.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
Yeah, and there pictures of it.

Speaker 1 (06:25):
So explain to me the sex offenders everywhere is the
registered sex offender handing out candy or people are handing
out candy with that person in trying to sell out
the register section.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
So the mom doesn't know, she said, And Ludia sent
this to me this morning too. It's literally going everywhere,
she said, or the post says, I was going through
my kid's candy this morning. I found it odd that
an address sticker was on the biggest package of candy.
So she doesn't know if it came from this person
or if it was somebody else doing this, but she
just said I searched the name and address to find
that he is a registered sex offender. Please check your

(06:57):
child's candy.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Wow, that's crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
But if it is true, that individual and I'm not
gonna say names, obviously should not be sending or shouldn't
be allowed to pass out candy.

Speaker 1 (07:07):
It was the whole thing. I almost feel like people
are trying to scarlet letter the guy, you know what
I mean by by putting it out there. That's why,
well I believe that's the law, that they're not supposed
to be passing out candy, but correct. But for you,
as a neighbor of them, to call them out on
your own candy, I don't know if that's the Is
that the right thing there?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
That's what I'm saying. There's so many feelings on this
Facebook post of then posting it with this person's name
and address.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Hot yeah, yeah, wow.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
For everything you missed from today's So you can always
