Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yesterday, I ran into a friend, Shannon of years of mine,
whose daughter just recently got married, talking about.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
It could have been the most beautiful Oh my god,
Brie and wedding party marks Robert.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
Yes, I have never seen bridesmaid stresses that were this spectacular.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Well they had to be because the bride was so gorgeous.
I'm not joking. That was a model wedding party.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
So yes, me and got married, and Mike and Marianne
have been friends forever and we love them so much.
And ran into him and I said something to him
about the wedding, and I kind of felt bad for
him because I wasn't saying to Aim and by the way,
don't anybody ever feel like you have to invite me
or Chelsea to a wedding because we actually would rather
just send a gift. But if you invite us, we

(00:46):
will come, especially if you're good friends. So Mike was
there and he kind of I can tell he felt
bad because he didn't invite us to the wedding, and
he actually said this to me, Shannon. He goes, I
just want you to know I would have invited you
and Chelsea and Shannon and her husband, but we kind
of had to keep the lists low, you know, because
of the amount of people that were.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
There, understand.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
And I said to him, I go, that's that's amazing, Mike,
don't worry about it. He goes, you know what, when
Renna gets married, he says, you'll be invited to the wedding,
because you know, Renna worked with you guys, and Renta
is like a daughter to to all of us, or
like a little sister. So on story short. I said
to him like, oh, Mike, don't worry about congratulations.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
It's huge.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
His first daughter getting married is awesome. I got so,
how many people did you have at the wedding? And
he goes, uh, seven hundred and twenty.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
So we were.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Four.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Well, I said, I said, oh wow, that's a lot.
That's a lot of people. I actually asked him, I go,
how much does that cost? I mean seven high Hereio,
it's unbelievable. It's a Caldian wedding.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
They're Caldean and cal Dean's for those that don't know,
Iraqi Catholics Lydia Bianca, they're Kaldean's. They have huge weddings.
So I and you know, going, wow, that's a lot.
And then I started thinking to myself when I was
driving away afterwards, I'm going Shannon Chelsea West and myself,
we don't even fit in the top seven hundred.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
Nowhere on his mind about.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
It, you have to go through.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Somebody has to tell me if you go to a
wedding and there's seven hundred. By the way, who's had
the biggest wedding? You'll tell me if there's the biggest wedding, like,
because I know the Kaldians have the huge weddings, the Italians,
but Italians have massive weddings. My East sides always have
big weddings, and then the other ones too. Is I
think some of my Jewish friends have had some massive weddings.

(02:40):
But long story short, Jewish friends. Seven would you like
me to shout out to my dudes?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
All right?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Hold on a second, I will shout out to my
my Jewish friends. All right, So I shout out. So
I have to tell you that to me if I
had a So Joe's getting married, my son Joe's getting

(03:06):
what's that guest? Well, it is at one hundred and thirteen,
I think right now. And a lista wants only ninety,
so listen wants ninety.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Well, I don't think you're getting invited. I think you're
going to be like you at this other one.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I think you're not, which honestly would be an honor
because think about it's only ninety people, you know what
I mean. And this is Alyssa's family and Joe stuff.
So I think they want to keep it just close.
But Joe wants it to be like one hundred and
thirteen to two hundred, like he wants to invite the world.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
He's like his dad. He talks to everybody.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
But uh, like that to me is kind of a manageable,
like one hundred ish type people. Yeah, but a big
wedding sometimes that's a while.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Where do you have a seven hundred person wedding? Git,
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Shenandoah, Yeah, Pennaandoa does not hold seven hundred people.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
It doesn't. No, you'd have to. I'm thinking of Palazzo. Yeah,
maybe Plazzo. Seven hundred is crazy.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
I imagine me being able to physically speak to everyone
in my wedding, or at least that's what I want.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Seven hundred. I don't know how to hell you get
faced off?

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Can I tell you what was the best ever? When
West and I got married and it was me and
him and the kids. I would do that in somewhere,
not here, you know that. To me, it was so
there was no stress. I could enjoy it. Yeah, it
was so fun.

Speaker 4 (04:24):
It was better than like the first wedding. It was
the first wedding, big, like a lot of people.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
Yeah, and it was really, really, really fun. I can't
negate that. However, there was also a lot of stress
and a lot of money leading up to that.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
So I tho'll go back to this. So I really
thought that Mike thought of us.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
As seven hundred. Really, I mean, I don't know about it.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I'd like to know, if Mike is listening, I would
like to know where do Chelsea and I fall compared
to Shannon and her husband.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
Do they like our.

Speaker 1 (04:58):
Chelsea and I save been twenty and Channon's like seven thirty?

Speaker 2 (05:03):
I would you know? I want to know you're.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Before me for sure, because you've known the Sara's way
longer than I have.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
I mean, Mike, we served on a school board together,
that's right, Chelsea.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
But Chelsea served on the board of the other charity
with him too. I don't remember what it was. But
what's going on? How you doing Jordan, what's up?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Hey? I think the better question is does anybody even
know seven hundred people they want? By? What? Right? Jordan?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I think that I know a lot of people. I
don't think I could put seven hundred down. I really don't.
Why would you want to?

Speaker 3 (05:38):
And if you can't put seven hundred down, I don't
think I could even.

Speaker 1 (05:42):
Put I'll be honest with you, I do think that
if I had to put like a list together of
people and I was going to and I was told, hey,
you got to cut it down, I would have the
same problem that my son Joe is having, where you
feel weird because you don't want to not invite anybody.
And I think Joe's the problem that he has with

(06:04):
trying to cut people back is either you got to
go all in or all out, so you almost have
to say it's just going to be the people that
are on his show that are coming along with family,
or you got to invite other work people, because he
feels like you can't invite like one salesperson and not
invite another salesperson.

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Yeah, I mean people got to know a place in
your life. Also, like there's a difference between friends, like
true friends and acquaintances. Yeah, just because I know you
doesn't mean I know you. You know what I mean,
and you get that level of access. This is not
some random birthday party, like this is my wedding day.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
But there's always drama and hurt feelings when it comes
to wedding guest lists and Mike, I'm not saying that
about you at all, but there's always like someone's feelings
are always hurt. You know, if they did if they
didn't get invited, or where they're sitting, or it's.

Speaker 1 (06:50):
Like a middle school at birthday party. Do you remember
when you were in school and you, like, my mom
had a rule. My mom said you invite them all
or or invite none, because my mom knew what it
was like with my sister. My sister was not invited
to a party one time and it crushed her, and
so my mom said that to me. So my grade
school graduation that I had had every person in my

(07:14):
entire eighth grade class that came, and I'm not going
to lie to you, there were some people I'll never forget.
There was one girl, Sherry Sherman, who one time came
up to me and said thank you for the invite,
because she was excited because I think that was her invite.
What's up, VICKI, how you doing?

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (07:29):
How are you guys? Good? How many did you have
it your wedding?

Speaker 4 (07:32):
The guest list was five hundred people and the wedding
party was twenty one?

Speaker 2 (07:36):
Oh man, oh man? And wait? How many? Like?

Speaker 4 (07:42):
Well, my husband's family is Romanian Orthodox and then one
of six.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Kids Romanians, Albanians, Chaldeans like they if it ends with
an an am, You guys have lots of people at
your stuff, Khalid? How many people did you have it yours?

Speaker 2 (08:00):
I had like seven hundred people. I literally maybe I
know like twenty five to twenty seven of them, but
my dad invites all the rest of them. Wow. So
did you have to say hi to every person that
was there? Actually, you know it's a tradition. Do you
actually have to shake hand with everything in one of them? Oh?
My god? What what can I ask? What you are?
What I am? I'm from Jordan, I'm Jordanian.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Okay, So it's funny because I know also people from
India also have like they have multiple weddings to invite everybody.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
Yeah, that's okay, Yeah, San time, did you have anybody
that said to you, do you remember me? And I do. Actually,
it was like I remember when I was younger. I
was like, Okay, I don't know who you are. That's
amazing in my mind. I didn't say that specifically.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Wow, what an amazing wedding. Appreciate your phone call, buddy,
take care. Sean had to work a wedding of how
many people?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
It's Sean, Oh, hey, Bojo, Hi, you worked a wedding
of how many people? I worked a wedding of twelve
hundred people. It was a Elebanese wedding. And what did
you do? Yeah, we're It was at Burton Manor, I believe,
and we were doing the valet and we didn't end
up going home until four thirty. Wowing. Where did you

(09:19):
park the cars? Twelve hundred cars? I mean we parked
all the batleys and rolls rices up front, and then
once we ran out of space, we were just like
kind of stacking it next to each other while right
you met. How long did people have to wait for
val at four o'clock in the morning, Well, we had
twenty six employees.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Oh my god, that's insane. I would be I would
be like, I'd uber that one twelve hundred people at
that point right there, you had to lose a car
or two.

Speaker 3 (09:48):
Huh oh.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
I mean we were we were well organized, well managed,
but we were getting big tips, so.

Speaker 2 (09:55):
We didn't winn't mind at all.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Two of my high schools.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Isn't that unreal? How much you think made and tips
that night? I'm ind by eighteen hundred bucks.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Holy wow, and you're just one of twenty six people
is that are working?

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Crazy. We had walkie talkies and cones everywhere with anybody
