Speaker 1 (00:01):
In the Morning's Dirty on the thirty Shannon with what's
training and the Dirty on the thirty Shannon.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
The Detroit Lions with win over the Washington Commanders yesterday,
final score forty four to twenty two. As was rumored,
President Donald Trump in attendance, even doing a little play
by play for those of us watching on TV.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Checond and seven.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Let's see what happens.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Well, that's all right, crosskey Merritt not bad.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Takes the tip to the five yard line. That's right,
that's right, good, good runner. There we go.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
This is a very big play.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Don't you think I think they have to get a touchdout.
Let's put it differently. They just have to got a touchdown.
There we go. Now you're doing my job. That's what
I was going to be. Touchdown. You would think that
it was like Eric doing his impersonation of him. You know, yeah, yeah,
it's great.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
It's going. I'm and Rossie Brown doing the Trump dance
and pointing up to where the President was sitting.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Well Brown after a touchdowns touchdown and a lot of
fans booing the boy they were booing it was I
would say it was a like probably our country. There
was like a fifty to fifty either had fans that
were cheering or fans that were booing. There were louder
booze than cheers and flipping off that. I'm amazed how

(01:14):
many people give the middle finger these days, which was
pretty interesting. Like you see all these pictures on social
media right now of people looking up towards the box
and flipping the bird. The problem with some of the
booing was the booing happened at a bad time of
the game, or not game, but bad time. They were
doing a ceremony where they were swearing in a bunch
of military people, and so as he was swearing them in,

(01:37):
everybody was booing. So it came across as if they
were booing the people that were trying to be sworn
in as military people. Fifty looks so sad now that
those poor people, I said, fifty feet. Well, first off,
you understand this is Washington, DC. Majority of these people,

(02:05):
did you those a ton of bills. Majority of these
people in DC are out of work right now because
of the government shutdown. They're working for the government. You
didn't see it. I saw a lot. I saw some
lions fans cheering. Though I thought that that was interesting
that you would see there were some fans that were chairing,

(02:26):
but it seemed like some of the Detroit people were
chairing and the Washington commanders fans were more so the
ones that were new in the villains.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Speaking of that government shut down, by the way, the
longest shut down in US history, the Senate has taken
a big step to reopen the government. A bipartisan deal
passed late last night with eight Democrats joining Republicans. So
this agreement keeps the government funded through the end of
January and fully restore snap benefits for the forty two

(02:56):
million Americans who rely on food assistance. Now, some progressive
Democrats are not happy, saying this deal gives up too
much on healthcare subsidies and other protections. They say, people,
this is not a good deal. Next up, the full
House and Senate need to approve it. But for now,
it looks like the shutdown is slowly starting to wind down.

(03:17):
Senator Tim Kaine on federal workers getting back pay.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
And what we have in this bill is the restoration
of all the furloughed employees and a guarantee of their
back pay. The restoration of all rift employees you got
rifted after October one with all of their back pay
and a guarantee of no rifts.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Now I know a lot of people traveling over the
next month or two. What does this mean for flights?
There are still thousands being delayed or one and old
under today every single day.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
As I look two.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Weeks out, as we get closer to Thanksgiving.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Travel listen, I think what's going to happen is you're
going to have air travel slow to way trucklun.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
They have to vote the rest of this in for
the House, and the House isn't there, so they had
to call all the people from the House, so they
probably won't even have it voted on until Wednesday by
the House to be able to do it, which means
that air travel the next few days is still going
to be similar where they're going to be cutting flights
and they may even cut more. The rumor is that

(04:19):
it potentially will go into effect by the weekend and
then the furloughed workers will all come back as well
as all those people that work TSA and FA will
get their pay. But it's still caused so many problems.
I look at this and I think, why do we
as a government, Why are we shutting down, Like why
do you shut down a government? And I know that

(04:40):
the whole idea is that that's their way of negotiation.
It's like a strike. But when you're not feeding people,
when you're not having safety in air travel, it starts
making me think that there has to be some kind
of a way that the people who aren't taking uh

(05:01):
not all these people that are voting on this stuff
are taking a salary. So like to me, if I'm
a if I'm a politician and I'm taking a salary,
I think people should call them out for.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Oh a million percent? Agree with you?

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Like, I think that if you're a congress person or
you're you know whatever, you are working for the government,
you're working in the White House and you're taking any
kind of money while there are people that are getting
furloughed or people that are not getting paid eat, Yeah,
I mean you should. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Kim Kardashian is not a lawyer just yet. She did
not pass the California bar exam that she took over
the summer, just got the results bag, but she intends
to try again. She wrote on her social media, Well,
I'm not a lawyer yet. I just play a very
well dressed one on TV. Six years into this law journey,
and I'm still all in until I passed the bar.

(05:51):
No shortcuts, no giving up, just more studying and even
more determination.

Speaker 1 (05:55):
The average person takes three times to mass the bar.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Yeah, so this is not uncommon. Do we know how
what number this was for her too? I think this
was one she did. She took the baby bark, and
then I think this was her first time taking the
actual bar, if I'm not mistakeous. A couple more and
Target is rolling out mandatory smiles for the holidays. The
retailer has a new ten four rule, which requires employees

(06:21):
to greet customers within ten feet and they actually have
to start a conversation with them if they're closer than
four feet, all to boost slumping sales. With in store
numbers down about three percent, targets. Target is hoping that
smiles and friendly faces and small talk can help bring
back shoppers and holiday to your to the stores. I

(06:44):
want to talk when I shop.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Yeah, lower the prices, lower the price and pay the
people more to smile for guys. Say, I hate to
say it, but if you're working there and you're making
minimum you're going to be like, I have to go,
and that's part of my job is stock shells and smile.
But I guess you know all the time.

Speaker 2 (07:00):

bed sang like a bird.

Speaker 3 (07:13):
Dizey in my head, spam like the rectord crazy on
the Sunday.

Speaker 1 (07:18):
