Speaker 5 (00:25):
Take you back to the beginnings.

Speaker 7 (00:37):
Good morning, Welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show.
It is so good to have you guys here with.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Us today after a horrible Lions lost last night on
Sunday Night football. Yeah, stayed up watching that crap.

Speaker 7 (00:54):
Now I'm sleep deprived and passed, but that was a
tough loss. We'll have recaps on that. Plus we've got
a whole bunch of stuff to talk about today, a
lot of things from the week. I mentioned this when
I was going into a commercial break here on our
trade station. But we've got this week. So we've got

(01:14):
five shows this week, and then we've got a couple
shows next week. It's Thanksgiving next Thursday.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
Hey, I'm already hungry.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
It's crazy to think, isn't it. We're gonna be yeah,
which means our Giving, Thanks to you.

Speaker 7 (01:32):
Thanksgiving celebration is next Tuesday. It's a week from tomorrow,
and we got to get you in it. If you're
not already invited. We got to get you into the
whole thing. So Anna, are you a bring the roles
type girl?

Speaker 2 (01:45):
I bring the bottle type of girl?

Speaker 8 (01:47):
Are you?

Speaker 7 (01:48):
Because there are those people that and if you are
the bring the roles type person, that means that they
don't trust you. And if you're the bring the roles
person and they tell you which roles to bring, that
means they don't trust you and they don't really.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Trust that to be the king Hawaiian ones.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
Oh, I love those. I have our place at Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
What's your place?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Everyone? I bring the vibes you gotta have. You have
as many places as you want. He's the eater, He's
the guy. You're the guy that or do you have
to clean? Do you? No?

Speaker 7 (02:18):
No, no, I'm not doing none of that. See I'm the
official dishwasher. Chelsea's mom used to always say to say
to Chelsea, you picked a good one because the guy
knows how to do pants. I can actually get the
crap off of the pants, you know. Welcome back to Shannon.
Came back with a tan from Florida?

Speaker 1 (02:34):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (02:35):
I am?

Speaker 9 (02:36):
Good little chili?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I know, isn't it?

Speaker 10 (02:39):
And sunny and not a cloud in the sky compared
to as soon as you land. You're like, why, I mean,
I love where we live, but you come back from
a beautiful, warm place in November and it's a little depressing.

Speaker 7 (02:51):
I was looking at your your post that you put
up on your Social but also then you put a
post up on Mojo in the Morning Social cupcakes Chan
and Mojo in the morning, and I was looking at it, going,
oh my god. When it was sunny on Friday, we
had a great day. It was like sunny, but it
was cold. It was awesome. And then Saturday we had
this like warm temperature, but it felt colder because there

(03:12):
was no sun. And then yesterday we got some peaks
of sun, but you had sun the whole time.

Speaker 9 (03:17):
It was perfect.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (03:18):
Yeah, it was perfect.

Speaker 10 (03:19):
And I have to tell you if you're worried about traveling,
we had really easy travel. The airport was not busy
at all. No you know, cancelations or delays or anything
like that.

Speaker 7 (03:28):
I saw this morning they say we're officially back to
normal or all the all the airlines they actually there's
also another story too. Did you know that some of
the airlines are going to get dinged by the FAA
because they never lowered their flights. So they actually said
they were going to but they never did. And now
they realize that there was a lot of shenanigans going on.
You went with a bunch of girls, but something interesting

(03:50):
about one particular person without Yeah, I.

Speaker 9 (03:53):
Went with four of.

Speaker 10 (03:54):
My closest girlfriends, women who I know through our kids,
all being friends with each other, and we went down
to Marco Island, Florida, where one of my girlfriends her
family has a condo. So we were lucky. We didn't
have to pay for a hotel or anything, or an airbnb.
It was really nice, and so I shared a room
with my girlfriend Ashley, who actually she was the purpose

(04:18):
of the trip because she beat breast cancer.

Speaker 9 (04:20):
She was this year, so eighteen chemo treatments.

Speaker 10 (04:23):
And a mastectomy, and yeah, she she deserved to be celebrated.
So her and I room together and we snuggled in
a bed and the first night we were there, were
getting ready for bed and washing my face, brushing my teeth,
and she's getting into bed and she I'm noticing she's
pulling something out of her suitcase and I'm thinking, what
the heck is she doing? She pulls out dump truck

(04:45):
pillowcases and proceeds to put them on the pillows on
her side of the bed.

Speaker 9 (04:51):
And I said, what are you doing?

Speaker 10 (04:53):
And she said, there's a certain kind of fabric pillowcase
that she liked, and that's what she buys at home.
The only extras she had were ones from her boys,
so she grabbed them through them in her suitcase and
she puts them on pillows. Wherever she goes really hotel, Airbnb,

(05:14):
friends place.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Brings her own pillow case.

Speaker 10 (05:16):
He brings pillowcases to put on the pillows.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Are theople Are there any people that bring their own?

Speaker 11 (05:23):
I know people who do that, he tells, because they
think that the hotel stuff is dirty.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
But she just likes the fabric she.

Speaker 10 (05:30):
Likes, which I get. By the way, I totally understand
where she's coming from. I've just never packed my own
pillow cases before.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
That seemed like a cute story at first, when I
was thinking to myself that she was going to miss
her kids.

Speaker 9 (05:41):
No, it had nothing to do with the kids.

Speaker 7 (05:43):
Then I'm thinking to myself, you're on a away from
kids trip.

Speaker 9 (05:47):
Oh no, I don't even think she thought about her kids. Yeah, well,
for three days.

Speaker 7 (05:51):
Yeah, No, you don't want to be thinking about your kids,
except for the dumb tuck truck pillowcase when you're laying
your head on the pillow after a bunch of espresso
Martini's so all right. So this is Anna brings up
a point about people that get worried about bed bugs
and things like that. To me, I'm always so funny
with going to bed and I don't. I think everything's

(06:13):
clean and I'll just deal with it later if it's not.
We have friend like Tim Richards. I think you guys
have met Tim. He goes in and he strips everything off, Yeah,
and he puts it all in the corner, and then
he gets all and then he brings his bags in
and once he strips everything off, and I'm like Tim,
if those bad bugs are there, they're hopping, They're in
the hallway, they're everywhere in.

Speaker 10 (06:35):
They say at hotels, you're supposed to do that. You're
supposed to take off the comforter and the throw pillows
and just push them off to the side because they
don't clean those after every guess.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Wow, well I guess the sheets.

Speaker 9 (06:46):
Yeah, but the comforters, no, well, they has a blanket,
the blanket shiver.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
So yeah, I think because no, because it's the big one, right,
it's the big heavy one that's on top.

Speaker 12 (06:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (06:58):
Which, by the way, they did a thing on ABC
one time where they had a guy with a black
light and you see sperm, sperm or big bugs, probably
sperm that I could clean myself from sperm.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I think you have to fumigate from bedbugs sperm.

Speaker 10 (07:16):
I can, at least it's like out a I don't
have to think about it. Out of side, out of mind,
bed bugs. They're following you home.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
I've slept in sperm before, and I'm fine that.

Speaker 10 (07:24):
I've also stated at a very nice hotel and remember
got bedbug bites.

Speaker 9 (07:28):
All over one side of my body.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Listen, I've stayed in a very nice hotel.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
As I'm leaving the hotel and I'm looking under the
bed to make sure that something of mine, like a
soccer or whatever didn't fall underneath there, there were used
condoms underneath the bed. I was like, this is a
nice hotel. It's like a four or five star. Kim,
what do you do?

Speaker 13 (07:45):
Good morning everybody, first time caller, long time listen.

Speaker 14 (07:52):
I also bring a set into locates.

Speaker 15 (07:55):
I'm an African American woman here.

Speaker 12 (07:58):
Yeah, we'd like the pillowcaated want to keep the ools
in are here.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
So I bring my pillowcase everywhere I go off.

Speaker 7 (08:06):
Okay, I like that it's satin like satin like silk.
Does it feel like that?

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Where here? It's so comfortable.

Speaker 7 (08:13):
I like the pillowcases and the pillows that are always cool.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
They remain cool, you know, right.

Speaker 15 (08:21):
Very night, and bring it with me everywhere I go.

Speaker 16 (08:23):
As a single man, you got to have a couple
of o's on deck for visitors at your home to
make them feel more comfortable.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
You you have women that come to your house and
stay the night.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Kevin, this is news. I thought I thought he was
a good Christian boy. There, Cam you like to play tennis?
You like to play tennis? With your remarks sometimes I'm
a players. What's going on? Hi, Madison? How you doing?

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Hi?

Speaker 17 (08:52):
I usually when I go to hotels vacations, I bring
my silk pillowcases because I have acne pron skins, so I.

Speaker 18 (08:59):
Never use any at the hotel.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
I always use my sig pillowcases.

Speaker 7 (09:02):
Okay, all right? Do you pack that in your luggage
like your carry on luggage?

Speaker 17 (09:07):
And that's I do sometimes I'll just buy one Amazon
and honestly just throw it away after just because you
never know what's at the hotel.

Speaker 15 (09:14):
But yeah, I always bring a silk pilcase with me
everywhere I go.

Speaker 7 (09:17):
I wonder if there are people that ever bring their
own bedding, like full on betting to a hotel and
put it on a hotel or an airbnb.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
That's a little much for me, but.

Speaker 10 (09:30):
I think you have to bring it, so then you
have to pack the dirty stuff in your suitcase and
bring it.

Speaker 7 (09:34):
Yeah, I think so, right, Or in her case, she
said that she buys on Amazon, so she might just
leave it there right at medicine.

Speaker 19 (09:41):
Yeah, sometimes I just put like I just throw it away.

Speaker 9 (09:43):
They are like twelve dollars on Amazon.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
It's really cheap.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
Chelsea got a bad back, so there's like rarely a
good bed that she can sleep on. And we've stayed
at a hotel a couple of times in Chicago where
the bed was so good. She made me go to
the front desk and ask them, oh, what kind of
because she wanted that bed. She was like, this bed
was so amazing, And we were there for like a
couple of nights when we were visiting Jake, and it

(10:06):
was like this bed would.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
Give her the best sleep.

Speaker 7 (10:09):
It was awesome. And I believe that it's not the bed.
I believe it's your mindset of all Right, I'm here,
I'm relaxing, I'm having fun, you know what I mean?

Speaker 10 (10:17):
Like, yeah, I don't know if it's clean. There's nothing
for me to pick up.

Speaker 7 (10:20):
Although I have stayed in hotels where the beds were atrocious.
Same they were like the absolute worst. Have you ever
been on vacation hotel Airbnb? More so hotel where somebody
has brought like one of those polls to put under
the door for like extra security.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
No, I you know what I think, misfit Victor told me.

Speaker 7 (10:40):
He Victor puts like some kind of an alarm system
and the door so if somebody walks in and alarm
goes off. Have you ever seen those things you put
by the door and if it moves. Yeah, but there
are people that get freaked out by that. You should
because people walk in your hotel room.

Speaker 10 (10:54):
Look what happened to Lydio Bianca and I in Chicago
a couple of weekends ago.

Speaker 9 (10:58):
The guy came in and brought us a microwave in
the middle of the name.

Speaker 7 (11:00):
Yeah, he had a key card, though he was thinking,
you guys were freaky. What what three girls share a
room together and ask for a microwave?

Speaker 1 (11:08):
What are they wondering? What's going on in that room?
What's going on? Megan? How you doing good? How are
you good? My questions answered? Your friend explain what she does.

Speaker 20 (11:19):
So no matter where she goes hotel friend's house, she
brings like four pillows of her own, a blanket, everything.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Oh my gosh, like the whole thing, like the yeah,
does she throw those in a checked bag because I
would guess that that's probably all going to be in there.

Speaker 20 (11:39):
Yeah, And then like she has like a big duszel
bag that she brings, Like if she comes.

Speaker 1 (11:43):
To your house for the oh my gosh, that's wild.

Speaker 7 (11:46):
She's paying a lot of money, although the guy that's
lifting that bag to put it up on the plane
is probably like, this thing is light?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
What's going on? Nikki there?

Speaker 3 (11:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:56):
Here, good morning, y'all.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Nicky.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Nicky says, don't forget comforter and what else?

Speaker 2 (12:02):
A fan.

Speaker 16 (12:03):
I always bring my own comforter and a fan.

Speaker 9 (12:05):
I cannot sleep without a fan.

Speaker 21 (12:07):
This woman gets hot at night.

Speaker 7 (12:08):
I like it. Chelsea brings a sound machine with her sometimes.

Speaker 9 (12:12):
I did that for a while too, Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
And then I was like, can't we just put our
phone right?

Speaker 9 (12:16):
And then I started doing that.

Speaker 1 (12:17):
Yeah, but that.

Speaker 22 (12:18):
That makes sense too, though, you know, because you have
strange noises.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
That you don't have at home.

Speaker 1 (12:23):
Yeah, yeah, disrupt your sleep. What kind of sounds is
she sleeping too?

Speaker 7 (12:27):
Chelsea has like just like white nois ish like like somebody.

Speaker 1 (12:31):
We have it in our bedroom.

Speaker 7 (12:32):
And when Chelse is not the first one in bed,
I can't fall asleep, and I realize what it is
is I can't thunderstorms on.

Speaker 9 (12:40):
It goes on automatically at eleven.

Speaker 7 (12:42):
I'd pee my bad. I was a bed wetter that
would Yeah, all of a sudden, i'd hear it. I go,
oh boy, it's Harry coms a little Tommy's coming back again.

Speaker 1 (12:51):
You sure that's p Yeah, it could be. Maybe. I
don't know. What's up, Kaylee? How you doing good?

Speaker 23 (12:57):
How are you guys?

Speaker 14 (12:58):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Good morning, Kaylee? What's up?

Speaker 19 (13:01):
I would sleep.

Speaker 17 (13:02):
I would travel for work and we'd stay in hotels
and this guy I didn't.

Speaker 21 (13:07):
Stay in the same room as him, but another coworker
told me he'd strip the bed and then just worm
up in a sleeping bag.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Oh my gosh, in a sleeping you might as well
that point, you might as well have a crazy Oh
my gosh, that's like really freaky. So well, apparently he.

Speaker 15 (13:25):
Got bed bugs once, so he thought that that.

Speaker 7 (13:27):
Was up and never hear that. Wow, well, we love
we love you. You take care of yourself.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
We love you too.

Speaker 7 (13:33):
Look at this in studio with us this morning, hanging out, uh,
doing the show from the Detroit studios here for New
York and all over the world, Gandhi from Elvis Duran
in the morning.

Speaker 24 (13:48):
This place is so cool.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
You like it?

Speaker 24 (13:49):
Oh my god, it's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (13:51):
I bet yours is better.

Speaker 9 (13:52):
Yeah, no, it's not.

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Really, Yeah, it's not. You're in New York though. You
look out and you got New York. That's true.

Speaker 9 (13:59):
Waterhouses school till the sun comes up. You'll see.

Speaker 7 (14:03):
Actually you couldn't smell it today, But on Friday it
was like slaughtery it was. It was there were and
you see, like the trucks pulled by with the animals
that were like having a funeral forum.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
So a goat escaped the other day and it was
running around.

Speaker 24 (14:19):
I always wear animal.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
I love our company, that we have such great shows,
and we have such great people and Gandhis and Detroit.
I want to I've got to ask a million questions.
Will you make sure you come back and give me
a full break today?

Speaker 24 (14:32):
Absolutely?

Speaker 1 (14:33):
I want a full break because she's dating a dude
from Michigan.

Speaker 24 (14:36):
Why I'm here.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Yeah, but that's kind of wild long distance relationship. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (14:43):
And I want to know what the reasoning of why
New York guys aren't as nice as the Michigan guys opposite,
I could give.

Speaker 24 (14:51):
You a lot along the Midwest.

Speaker 1 (14:55):
All right, all right, Midwestern guys, all right, come back,
because I got to take a break. Care real quick,
all right, hold one second, just.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Mojo in the mornings back in the day, get back
in the day. What year did this stuff?

Speaker 6 (15:05):
All right?

Speaker 1 (15:06):
What year was this?

Speaker 25 (15:06):
From?

Speaker 1 (15:06):
The just couple of things that happened in that year?
Oh my gosh, this was the.

Speaker 7 (15:10):
Best Miss South Carolina had trouble in the Miss teen
USA paget.

Speaker 26 (15:15):
I believe that our education like Ssiconic South Africa and
Iraq everywhere like such as, and I believe that they
should our education over here in the US should help
the US or should help South Africa.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
You know she's got to be like thirty or so.

Speaker 7 (15:35):
I mean, I don't want to give away the year
and the big song akon and M and M.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Good luck.

Speaker 1 (15:56):

Speaker 6 (17:09):
Well Jordan, The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
All right, Channon, what's going on in this Hour's Dirty
on the thirty?

Speaker 3 (17:14):
Well?

Speaker 10 (17:15):
Former first leading Michelle Obama said, we as a country
are still not ready to elect a woman president. This
is from an event she did over the weekend to
promote her new book. Do you think that that impacts
the room that we've made for a woman to be president?

Speaker 27 (17:31):
Well, as we saw in this past election, sadly, we
ain't ready. That's why I'm like, don't even look at
me about running, because you all are lying you're not
ready for a woman. You are not, So don't waste
my time. You know, we got a lot of growing
up to do. And there's still, I'm sadly a lot

(17:52):
of men who do not feel like they can be
led by a woman.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
And we saw it. What was the question.

Speaker 10 (18:00):
She's always said, by the way, she has no interest
in being the president, and she reiterated that at this event.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
I think she gets elected, though, I really do. I
know she says that, but I think that she's She's
probably more electable than even Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris. Yeah, yeah,
I really do. Do you don't think so people love
the I definitely think she's I don't know electable is
the right word.

Speaker 16 (18:25):
But the two women, as you mentioned, I've served office
and she hasn't, so I'm interested.

Speaker 1 (18:29):
I think though.

Speaker 7 (18:29):
The thing is they the two that are there, have
had too many negatives that were attached to them that
people won't vote for them. And I really do think
that Michelle Obama did a lot of great things as
first Lady, and I think that in a lot of cases,
a lot of people also look back at when her
husband was president and the times that were there. I
saw him at a Clippers game, I think this past weekend,

(18:52):
and the crowd went crazy for him when he was there.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
He was sitting next to Steve Balmer, the owner of
the team.

Speaker 10 (18:58):
I don't know why this happened, and if somebody can
enlighten me, please text or send me a DM. Britney
Spears had a sleepover with Kim and Chloe Kardashian.

Speaker 9 (19:07):
Oh, we're just chilling in.

Speaker 10 (19:09):
Our geriatric beds, vibrating back, vibrates.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
What up?

Speaker 12 (19:15):
What up?

Speaker 9 (19:18):
They're planning kisses on each other.

Speaker 10 (19:19):
Well, she's planning kisses on their cheeks except.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
For the show.

Speaker 9 (19:23):
I have no idea.

Speaker 10 (19:24):
Chloe's daughter True and Kim's daughter Chicago was also dancing
in another video that I saw, and Brittany was cheering
them on. She reposted this Brittany did and captioned her
post with gratitude, calling the Kardashians a quote warm, beautiful,
kind family, thanking them for dinner and letting her hang
out with their kids. But yeah, check that out on

(19:44):

being a mom for the next couple of months. She

cause of death for Cleto Escabido, the third Jimmy Kimmel's

(20:31):
childhood friend and longtime bandleader on his late night talk show,
has been revealed. Remember, he was only fifty nine years
old when he died last week, but according to the
death certificate, the cause of death was cardiogenic shock. It
also listed several underlying causes, including other heart conditions, alcoholic
zirrhosis of the liver. He had sepsis, pneumonia, and chronic kidney.

Speaker 9 (20:55):
Disease as well. At whole bunch of things.

Speaker 1 (20:58):
A lot of his issues stemmed from probably alcoholism. When
you look at the death certificate, yes.

Speaker 10 (21:04):

almost exactly like Gracie Abrams said that she's got amazing

(22:00):
and I think I don't know if she's set for
a performance, but I know she's gonna go up on
stage and do stage announcements and things with us. But
the rumor is maybe we can put a guitar in
front of her and get her to do like a
little acoustic song or so. I want you to hang

those tickets.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Okay, Alexa, awesome, Thank you guys so much.

Speaker 7 (23:09):
Everything's good? All right, We've got Sabrina with us right now.
I want to get right to your challenger. She's from Finley, Ohio,
and she is a taxi driver.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Okay, I like you know, it's funny.

Speaker 7 (23:19):
I haven't seen a taxi driver in a long time,
ever since Uber came on the block. What's going on? Hi, Teresa, Hey,
what's nice to have you here? If you get a
fair will you say to them, Hey, I'm on the radio, I.

Speaker 23 (23:36):
Will I'm getting ready to pick up right now.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
And I love you most, Joe love We love.

Speaker 16 (23:41):
You too, Teresa. Are you in a yellow cab or
do you drive a different car?

Speaker 3 (23:46):
It's red.

Speaker 4 (23:46):
I drive a twenty twenty one Tia Forte for us
cabin Finley.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
That's awesome. By the way, that's that sounds like a
nice one.

Speaker 7 (23:54):
I always have been in cabs, like in Chicago and
New York, and those cabs are like these old time
looking vehicles. Hey, we're gonna lock up, Sabrina. I'm gonna
get this contest started here.

Speaker 1 (24:05):
Five questions.

Speaker 7 (24:07):
Whoever gets the most right wins. I always goes to
the champion. Sabrina's going for three today, Teresa, you could
stop the streak. Here's the first question.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
These viral fuzzy dolls from PopMart are allegedly getting their
own movie.

Speaker 7 (24:23):
What are those dolls called? Say that again? Okay, I
think the second time. I think she knew what you're
gonna say? Question number two. Question number two, Carti B
is a mama again. The father of her baby boy

(24:44):
is Stefan Diggs, who is an athlete.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
What sport does he plays? Question number three.

Speaker 7 (24:54):
This civil rights activist and politician is uh not on
life so port as rumored over the weekend.

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Who is he?

Speaker 3 (25:08):
So?

Speaker 2 (25:08):
I don't know?

Speaker 1 (25:09):
Question number four.

Speaker 7 (25:10):
Teresa Judici is clapping back at fans who say her
reunion with her brother and sister in law Melissa and
Joe was fake. What reality franchise made them all famous?

Speaker 2 (25:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
You don't know that one, Okay, all right?

Speaker 7 (25:30):
In question number five, it's a Hollywood legend. Danny DeVito's
birthday today? What famous sub chain is he the spokesman for?
All right, let's bring the champ back to my sound
proof area. I was like, that's my favorite.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
Five is five? No? You know what that means, Teresa.

Speaker 5 (26:00):
One's always so dumb.

Speaker 7 (26:01):
I'm sorry, but that's kind of the game we play here.

Speaker 1 (26:05):
All right, Here we go, Sabrina, Sabrina. Question number one.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
These viral fuzzy dolls from PopMart are allegedly getting their
own movie.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
What are they called?

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (26:19):
Question number two. Cardi B is a mama again. The
father of her baby boy is Stefan Diggs, who is
an athlete? What sport does he play?

Speaker 1 (26:30):
Football? Yes? A patriot? Question number three.

Speaker 7 (26:34):
This civil rights activist and politician is not on life
support as rumored over the weekend. Who is he passing
that one Reverend Jesse Jackson. Question number four, Teresa Judici
is clapping back at fans who say that the reunion

(26:56):
with her brother and sister in law Melissa and Joe
was fake. What reality franchise made them all famous?

Speaker 2 (27:03):
Real?

Speaker 7 (27:06):
And question number five, it's Hollywood legend Danny DeVito's birthday today?
What famous sub chain? Is he the spokesperson for.

Speaker 28 (27:21):
Sub Chain?

Speaker 7 (27:22):
Yes? Really, Jersey Mike's come on, Jersey Mike. What's the
final score? Not a great one? A great one? Oh
my gosh? All right, well, you know what. You're back tomorrow, Sabrina.
That means that whoever wants to take on Sabrina text,
I want to play to nine five five zero zero.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
A win is a win, you know what.

Speaker 7 (27:44):
You're right, I'll tell you what she's not winning like
the Pistons are winning.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
Hey, how many now? Ten tonight would beat in a row?
Ten in a row? Cavin I. So I watched the
game on Friday.

Speaker 7 (28:00):
It was my first from start to finish game I've
watched on television so far this year. And again, they
had a lot of injuries, so Caid wasn't playing four
starters out, four starters out and they're playing against it
looks like a full squad I think, or maybe Joel Embiid,
but I guess I don't even think he plays anymore,
does he is? And I'm watching this game, and I'm

(28:20):
watching going these guys are good. I just I don't
want them to do a Tigers though, and to go
incredible until like the end of the year and then
all of a sudden fall off. Like I I liked
what Dan Campbell said, and I know Shannon's got this
audio coming up, but Dan Campbell said, people can doubt us,
but these are the games that you lose and then
you hit your stride towards the end of the season.
But yeah, he had a great quote it again. Yeah

(28:43):
tonight Row, who are they playing? Indiana Pacers? Yes, Indiana Pacers.

Speaker 5 (28:47):
Tonight it's mobile in the Morning's five is six fifty
five five.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
I do have a partying gift and I gotta plug them.
Hold on a second, here, where's that at hey?

Speaker 3 (28:56):
Hold on?

Speaker 1 (28:56):
That's right there.

Speaker 7 (28:57):
Here you go, A fifty dollars gift card to Crow
g for Teresaize.

Speaker 1 (29:01):
Isn't that wonderful line?

Speaker 5 (29:03):
W kick you on?

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Detroit vs? Two Three grade stations one stupid show. This
is Mojo in the Morning, Lie, Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 2 (29:21):
That's and that's kiss now five five?

Speaker 5 (29:23):
Oh you know what time it is?

Speaker 1 (29:25):
You ready? You're waking up with Hojo? These are the
bonus shows.

Speaker 29 (29:29):
Are no go they love us like the iHeart logot.
We got five at six fifty five. If you were
looking for mot goat. Where is this ketchup? Creeping on
the low low weekdays five at ten thirty?

Speaker 1 (29:38):
It goes down? Hey, when you're picking for.

Speaker 29 (29:40):
The throwback pro down thirty on the thirty for the
noose on your timeline only on kiss sessing next to nine.

Speaker 1 (29:45):
Five five, Let's go who is that singing that again?

Speaker 7 (29:48):
P l official He needs to be the halftime performer
at the Lions Thanksgiving the moll bl I saw they
announced that Shannon's going to tell you who's going to
be performing in eminem producing that coming up here. We'll
have that for you in just a little bit. It
is Mojo in the Morning. The holidays are here. I mean,
it's weird to think that we've got Thanksgiving and then

(30:10):
Christmas right away and Anna's not feeling it.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
You're know what's going on? Annah?

Speaker 11 (30:14):
I'm having a hard time getting excited for the holidays,
and I feel like it's been this way for like
the past maybe four years for me. I used to
love Christmas, so I'm a Christmas baby. I was born
four days before Christmas. Growing up, I was super excited
all the time. Love snow, love decorating the tree. Now
I'm older, I live by myself. I'm single, which I

(30:37):
think has a lot to do with it, and the
holidays just make me feel lonely and stressed out. So
going back to my parents' house, my sister has a
husband and kids, She's doing her thing with them. My
parents are together, and I just feel like I don't
have any Like, I don't have anyone.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
I don't have.

Speaker 11 (30:57):
Kids to like get excited about. I don't have a
person that I'm spending it with. When I go home,
all my aunts and uncles just want to ask me
if I'm getting married anytime soon, and like it's a lot.
On top of just having to buy everyone gifts. I
feel like it's so much pressure and I almost feel
guilty for not being excited about Is it tough.

Speaker 1 (31:19):
To be single during the holidays, is it?

Speaker 2 (31:21):
I think so?

Speaker 11 (31:21):
I mean, maybe people would say that you don't have
to worry about buying someone gifts or anything. But at
least now that all of my friends are in relationships
and stuff, it's harder for me.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
Would you do last year?

Speaker 11 (31:34):
See, I always go out of town, so I think,
like last year I went to Miami. I left out
on Christmas because I would just rather not deal with it.

Speaker 9 (31:42):
Yeah, do something for yourself.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (31:44):
It's interesting though, because if you do that, I wonder
and obviously you must not have, but I would feel
more lonely being there, even though you're you know, probably
doing lots of alcohol and drugs to kind of keep
your keeping. It's more like, but I would feel like
you're drowning your sorrows a little bit in another place,

(32:04):
and then it makes you even lonelier.

Speaker 11 (32:06):
I just feel like I don't think about the holidays,
like if I'm laying on the beach, like getting a suntan.
It's like, is it even Christmas?

Speaker 1 (32:13):
All right? Who's also sharing this right now? Who's not
not feeling it?

Speaker 7 (32:18):
And is it because you're single and you don't want
to have to deal with going home to the holidays
and seeing family open sweaters together.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
Christmas?

Speaker 7 (32:31):
I'm into the Cardigans lately, I've been really Chelsea says
to me, She goes, you are a Cardigan fanatic.

Speaker 1 (32:36):
I know it's fun. You see one. I got one
that's really good. It's a really good when I got.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Just wait to see it.

Speaker 11 (32:43):
Kevin your single as well, but I guess you have
Joe exactly.

Speaker 16 (32:46):
I'm I didn't want to just dive into that. But
holidays are better when you have kids. But it reignites
exactly what you say you miss from being a child.
You used to love the snow, and even though we
don't have snow. You see a challeng's face. They still
have that youthful energy of everything that you loved when
you were a youth and in love with Christmas.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
They just reignite that flame. But what if Josiah's mom
does take that's Thanksgiving. He's not going anywhere for Christmas.

Speaker 10 (33:13):
We're not playing that, But what is she Remember you
guys are having a sleepover and making.

Speaker 7 (33:16):
A baby even Thanksgiving, though, what if she's gone for that?

Speaker 1 (33:19):
That would be tough one.

Speaker 16 (33:20):
Well, this year, in particular, Girard is having the old
school Thanksgiving where everybody's gonna forego their individual plans and
all meet at one particular house, so it'll again reignite
that childhood.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
Flame where that's what we did when we were kids.

Speaker 10 (33:34):
I'm really I like, though, because we talked last week,
have you talked about it specifically? And I know I've
talked about it many times, especially since I got divorced.
When the holidays start to look different from how you
remember it when you were little, it's it is really
tough motor.

Speaker 9 (33:49):
You talked about it with the boys.

Speaker 10 (33:50):
It is so tough to grasp because you you it's comforting.
You want it to be the same and how you've
always remembered it. And I actually do think that it's
a good thing that you do something for yourself during
the holiday, like go to Miami or come up with
something that fills you up so that you don't feel
depleted by this like emptiness of not of it not

(34:13):
being the same.

Speaker 11 (34:14):
And I also love doing that, But I do think
that then I feel bad for my family because they're like,
where's Anna?

Speaker 2 (34:20):
We want Anna here? And Anna's nice here, and.

Speaker 7 (34:25):
Especially if family is going through tougher time at this time.
So can I tell you something interesting? Yeah, you talking
about this now makes it even harder for you. Because
you live in literally the heart of Christmas Land, because
they're about to light the tree and downtown Detroit.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
She lives not that far.

Speaker 7 (34:40):
And I know you got that big old Hudson bear
sitting out there, you know, looking beautiful out in front
of that. I always think that if you're somebody that's
going through what you're going through, could you imagine working
in them all and every day you got to go
walk by Sanna and Center Court. Although happy, although I
wonder if that would actually still make you go bah humbug.

Speaker 1 (34:57):
You know what's going on? Sarah? How you doing?

Speaker 26 (35:00):
I'm good?

Speaker 14 (35:01):
How are you guys?

Speaker 6 (35:02):
Good?

Speaker 1 (35:02):
Are you also not excited about the holidays? Number? Really?

Speaker 14 (35:12):
With the economy the way it is, my daughter's birthday.

Speaker 30 (35:16):
Is two weeks before and then Christmas.

Speaker 15 (35:22):
It's hard being a single parent.

Speaker 9 (35:25):
It's hard make it all that mantic happen yourself.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
Yeah, are you how old your daughter?

Speaker 14 (35:33):
She'll be sixteen two days after the jingle Ball?

Speaker 2 (35:36):
And that's man a fellow Sagittarius.

Speaker 1 (35:39):
Do you have jingle Ball tickets? Do you have tickets
to tell Lydia give her tickets to jingle Ball? Can
we give you tickets to jingle ball and you take
your daughter and say it's a little Christmas gift from you.

Speaker 19 (35:49):
Yes, that would be awesome because she's been begging to go.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
All right, we're getting your tickets.

Speaker 7 (35:53):
Hold on one second, Okay, I want to give your
tickets and I want you. I want you to go,
and I want you to literally go in just for
a night. No cares you, guys, just sing along to everything.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
Okay, Okay, thank you, Sarah.

Speaker 7 (36:07):
I'm so sorry that that you're you're waking up this morning.
We're making you cry. But I hope that that makes
you happy. But it's a little smile.

Speaker 20 (36:13):
That's actually living work.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Oh geez, Oh my gosh. What do you do for
a living that you worked so well?

Speaker 14 (36:20):
I've called multiple times, I take care of the mentally disabled.

Speaker 1 (36:24):
You are a special person, and so do I. I'm
right here with you right now. I think I've used that.

Speaker 7 (36:28):
Actually take care of you at home? No, you take
care of the geriatric that's me. What's going on? How
you doing, Rachel?

Speaker 31 (36:37):
Good morning, guys. I'm doing okay, how are you guys?

Speaker 1 (36:39):
Good? What's going on?

Speaker 14 (36:41):
Good?

Speaker 17 (36:42):
Well?

Speaker 31 (36:43):
This holiday season is our first that without my mom.
She passed away about four months ago.

Speaker 32 (36:53):
And I have a six year old.

Speaker 31 (36:54):
So it's kind of hard, you know, you got to
put on a smile for her. That's probably the hardest thing, honestly.

Speaker 24 (37:01):
The first when it comes to this process.

Speaker 2 (37:03):
Yeah, when you lose when kids, what.

Speaker 9 (37:07):
Are you going to do to remember your mom for
the holiday?

Speaker 31 (37:11):
Well, my husband took me yesterday to Bronner's and I
got uh an ornament for her. We're still going to
do Christmas cookies with our girls, Yes, yes, with our girls.

Speaker 33 (37:27):
Yep, we would you my grandma recipes.

Speaker 31 (37:29):
Yeah, so we'll do that with them this year too.

Speaker 7 (37:31):
And make sure you keep doing it. Don't do it
well past that. That's kind of something that you always.

Speaker 31 (37:35):
Do, yes, yep, And I want the girls to remember
that forever, you know. Gig And then now mom and
Aunt beck which is Becky's first day back to work today,
So hey, Becky.

Speaker 1 (37:47):
Go hey did have a special cookie recipe?

Speaker 31 (37:53):
Oh my gosh, Yes, there's so many. My grandma was
famous for her Russian teacakes and people are already asking
me for them.

Speaker 18 (38:02):
So we got to get to cook in.

Speaker 21 (38:05):
Soon do that.

Speaker 7 (38:06):
Yeah, seriously, the memories will have through you and then
we'll be passed on to another generation because you'll give
them to your daughter.

Speaker 1 (38:12):
So that's awesome.

Speaker 7 (38:14):
I'm praying for you, but I'm happy to know that
you guys are continuing with all the great things that
she did. Alexis is single, and she said that she
feels the pressure of her families at this time.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
Is that right, Alexis?

Speaker 17 (38:27):
Actually I'm in a relationship, but the pressures that I
feel from family around the holidays because my boyfriend and
I don't live together and we're not married yet is
absolutely insane. And with lots of therapy, you know, it's
gotten better, but like, yeah, I get questioned all the
time when we're gonna move in together and we're gonna

(38:49):
get married and we're gonna have babies, and it's a lot.

Speaker 2 (38:53):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 1 (38:54):
Do you want that? Is that where your hope is?

Speaker 17 (38:58):
Yeah, I mean eventually, but it kind of got pressure
on me. It kind of makes me second guess myself.

Speaker 9 (39:04):
And I see all my cousins.

Speaker 17 (39:06):
Like doing and then like all of them are like, oh, well,
how come you're not married now, you're not living together yet,
things like that, So I know it will happen.

Speaker 9 (39:17):
Yeah, you're young, you know, Yeah, don't run.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
You got tons of time.

Speaker 17 (39:21):
Seriously, Yeah, yeah, for sure.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
So I feel you, Anna.

Speaker 7 (39:26):
If you feel the pressure, I guarantee your boyfriend feels
even more pressure going over to your family's house.

Speaker 9 (39:31):
Oh yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 1 (39:32):
How long have you all been together?

Speaker 2 (39:35):
Almost ten years?

Speaker 1 (39:36):
Oh that's the pressure is a long time.

Speaker 6 (39:41):
I know.

Speaker 1 (39:41):
Yeah, it's time. I'm take us so long, Georgina, what's up, Georgina?

Speaker 21 (39:50):
Good morning. I just want to say, Anna, I feel you.
I know the holidays can be really tough, like we
have family stuff going on too. I just want to
encourage you to like really lean in though, and like
your nephews look up to you so much, and like
the way you talk about them, like you're a big
part of their world, and like I encourage you to
create some traditions with them, and like, you know, hold

(40:12):
on to that, like they're only going to be young
for so long and time goes by so fast.

Speaker 7 (40:16):
You know, you did you hear when they called into
the show and they were so excited.

Speaker 9 (40:24):
The Christmas stuff? That should be your thing.

Speaker 10 (40:28):
With them and have them spend the night, Oh my god,
that would be so fun.

Speaker 7 (40:33):
Give mom and you know, a night to do nothing,
you know, maybe go shopping for them. You know that's cool,
that would be fun.

Speaker 1 (40:40):
Seriously, Uh, just make sure that you clean that place
up a little bit, hide all the crazy spottles. What's up, Vicky?
How you doing?

Speaker 9 (40:47):
VICKI, Hey, good morning, Happy Monday.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
Happy Monday.

Speaker 7 (40:51):
Well this doesn't seem like a happy Monday when we're
talking about a topic like this, but go ahead.

Speaker 24 (40:55):
Well, yeah, I have the opposite.

Speaker 9 (40:58):
I get irritated that literally my entire life.

Speaker 1 (41:02):
And I mean my daughter just turned twenty one, so
we're talking a lot of yours that we always have
to go somewhere.

Speaker 34 (41:08):
Oh yeah, that you can't just have it house just
like never just been able to have like a husband,
daughter and I just like open our gifts, hang on
our pajamas all day.

Speaker 9 (41:18):
So I have to worry about that.

Speaker 7 (41:20):
We went through that in our family, and Chelsea just
said to everybody, if you want to come here, you can,
but we're doing it on our own. Yeah, I mean,
you should you set the ground rules on that. You're
a grown woman, obligated. There comes a point where you
have to you have to start your own tradition and
you have to do what you want.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
And you know, and when.

Speaker 34 (41:39):
You we've tried, and it's it becomes then it becomes
a heated thing for a very long.

Speaker 1 (41:45):
Period of time. What the nationality are you? What? What's
your background?

Speaker 35 (41:51):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (41:51):
Mine is just.

Speaker 28 (41:54):
American.

Speaker 9 (41:54):
My husband's family is a Romanian.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Okay, because I was gonna say it sounds like a
he got got a little bit of ethnic going on there.

Speaker 9 (42:03):
Yeah, oh yeah, we have, we have that from his side.

Speaker 7 (42:06):
That's where you just want to be a good old
fashioned mutt. Don't even know what you are exactly.

Speaker 36 (42:11):
Not even my family because they're so big, they're all
used to used to go to grandma's.

Speaker 1 (42:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 32 (42:16):
Yeah, well we're all parents now, or you guys are
all parents now.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
We should just go to our parents or they come here.
And yeah, so I just get mildly irritated.

Speaker 24 (42:27):
Rather than upset or everything.

Speaker 9 (42:30):
So, I mean, it's different for everybody.

Speaker 1 (42:32):
But well, good luck with everything.

Speaker 9 (42:33):
I know there's the opposite as well for people.

Speaker 1 (42:37):
Yeah, see that, and it could be like that. You
could actually have to deal with Vicki's family. I like that.
Everybody live through other people's misery in there. Hold On.

Speaker 7 (42:46):
Emily works retail, and she says she's miserable because of
the customers, Is that right?

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Yeah?

Speaker 23 (42:52):
Also, first time, long time.

Speaker 1 (42:56):
Where do you work, Emily, I work in colds. Oh
those people get knots, don't they They and they.

Speaker 7 (43:05):
Throw piles of clothes on the ground. They unfold things.
You got to go refold them. How long does it
take you, guys to re put that story back together
at the end of the night.

Speaker 15 (43:15):
If we're like fully staffed, it doesn't take too long.

Speaker 31 (43:18):
They make us stay like an extra half hour after
we close to clean.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
Up the store.

Speaker 7 (43:25):
Right, I would hate that. I was somebody was telling
me that they work in Macy's. It takes an hour
at the end of the night to put everything together
because people are yeah, and then you're that's an hour
that you're away from your family or you want to
get the hell out of there. So all right, Well, this,
by the way, was an uplifting topic. Anna, Did we
help you with everybody everyone else's misery? No, it's real.

Speaker 11 (43:48):
I mean it did put into perspective that it could
be a lot worse.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
You could have somebody somebody else's life right now, right
look at that.

Speaker 7 (43:58):
It put out a smile day. Thank you guy for
sharing your misery with us. Hero making sure that you
actually make all of us feel better. It's Mojo in
the morning.

Speaker 5 (44:08):
You viewed my snap, you read my text, no callback
second dat up dat is coming up at eight twenty
on a show in the morning.

Speaker 1 (44:17):
All right, Mojo on the morning.

Speaker 3 (44:18):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (44:18):
Everybody came out to the breaking it entering Christmas wish,
little holiday thing that we were doing. We were selling
those bottles of bourbon, that limited edition bottles. And by
the way, they do have just a few real available.
You can get them at the Brass Mug which is
over in Lavonia seven mile in Newburgh. I showed up
and there were about fifty people waiting at noon, so

(44:42):
it was noon to one thirty. I show up and
there were people that were there since like eleven including
it was pretty cool. A guy who was twenty years old,
he's a week away from being twenty one. He dragged
his mom from Grand Blank which is like an hour
twenty to get there because his mom had to buy
the bottle.

Speaker 1 (45:00):
He couldn't buy the bottle.

Speaker 7 (45:01):
He didn't have an idea to buy it, and he
wanted to get an autograph. And if he called me,
if you're listening, because I forgot what your name was,
but he's in the pictures that I posted on Instagram
and Facebook. But it was so cool to get a
chance to meet I'm a huge listener of the Mojo
in the Morning show. And then it kind of was
steady throughout the whole day and we sold a bunch
of them. Every bit of the money goes to breaking
entering Christmas Wish. We're going to raise ten thousand dollars

(45:23):
off of that barrel. I did have something happen to
me on my way to the event. I got pulled
over by the popo.

Speaker 9 (45:32):
Really, yes, would you do?

Speaker 7 (45:34):
I was on my phone texting. Oh so, I had
my phone out and I was texting and the cop
pulled me over. And that was one of those things
where I'm going, oh, crap, I don't know any cops
in this area. Like if I got pulled over close
to my house, like I have cop friends and stuff,
I can always drop a name or something or at
least make a phone call. And he comes up to
the window, and he was a nice gentleman. He actually

(45:56):
smelled nice. He had nice hair and stuff too. Nice
he did he had I could smell the colonne as
I opened up the window and I handed them over
my stuff and he goes, no, I am pulling you
over and I said, well, I know I wasn't speeding
because I pretty much was stopped.

Speaker 1 (46:09):
I go was it because I had my phone out?
And he goes yeah.

Speaker 7 (46:11):
He goes, you're not supposed to be texting and driving.
It's distracted driving. Long story short, He goes, where are
you going? And I said, I'm on my way to
a charity event. And he goes, oh, okay, and he
goes what's the charity for?

Speaker 1 (46:23):
And I said, oh, it's for Christmas wish granting wishes
for families that aren't going to have the holidays.

Speaker 9 (46:27):
You know who I am? I am, I'm the title
sponsor the license.

Speaker 10 (46:32):
It's called in the morning's breaking it undering Christmas wis.

Speaker 1 (46:35):
No, I didn't. I didn't.

Speaker 7 (46:36):
I just said Christmas wish, right, And he goes, looks
at my thing and he goes, okay. He goes, take
the money that you would have had to pay for
the ticket and donate it to the charity.

Speaker 1 (46:45):
He gave me my license back.

Speaker 9 (46:47):
My gragustration, well.

Speaker 2 (46:48):
Again, I never.

Speaker 9 (46:49):
Got out of the ticket for you.

Speaker 7 (46:54):
Actually no, but I'm always going to be on my
way to a charity. Well no, but I wanted to
ask this question. Ei there any listeners that have ever
gotten pulled over? And what is your excuse that you've
used that has actually worked to get out of a ticket.
I would love to know what your excuse is, because
maybe we should all share excuses.

Speaker 11 (47:13):
Allison gets out of every ticket, and she speeds like
a mim know why, she's a nurse, And as soon
as they see her nurse badge, they're like, where are
you going?

Speaker 2 (47:22):
She's like the hospital. They're like, go ahead.

Speaker 7 (47:24):
My cop buddies all say this, and it's probably funny
because I know she works at the hospital.

Speaker 1 (47:28):
It's by my house.

Speaker 7 (47:29):
My cop buddies that are right around my house say
they'll never ever give a nurse or a doctor a
ticket because they never know when they're going to be
the ones brought in there, and so they always are like,
the last thing I world I want is a nurse
to go, hey, remember you gave me a ticket?

Speaker 10 (47:43):
You know what about radio people, though, Like, you don't
want to give a radio person a ticket because they're
going to call you out and say bad things about
you on the show.

Speaker 2 (47:51):
Yes, do you think they knew that you were Mojo.

Speaker 1 (47:53):
I don't think so. I don't.

Speaker 7 (47:54):
I really don't. I think I did not act differently
or anything like that. I think he was purely man.
I don't know what he listens to. But Tyre, this
is ty this is the guy I was talking about.

Speaker 6 (48:06):
That.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
No, he's gonna be twenty one next week, right ty
or this week? What's up? Tie? This Wednesday?

Speaker 37 (48:13):
I'm turning twenty one?

Speaker 1 (48:14):
Tie?

Speaker 6 (48:16):
Tie.

Speaker 1 (48:17):
Your mom is a sweetheart.

Speaker 7 (48:18):
You made her come all the way from Grand Blank
to go get that bottle of bourbon.

Speaker 1 (48:24):
What a guy you are, Tie, Yeah, she's amazing. It's
pretty cool, buddy. I gotta tell you.

Speaker 7 (48:29):
I want to just say hi, Shannon and Anna Da
are you some long time time?

Speaker 1 (48:35):
No, I've called before. Never mind, time we'll get you
again moday.

Speaker 3 (48:41):
Are you crappy?

Speaker 11 (48:42):
The bottle to celebrate your birthday on Wednesday? Is that
canna be your first drink?

Speaker 21 (48:47):
Yeah?

Speaker 37 (48:47):
We're going down to Tennessee for my birthday, so we're
gonna have it down there.

Speaker 7 (48:51):
It's incredible, Buddy. I gotta be honest with you. You're a
great looking guy. I hope you have an incredible birthday.
And are you single? And would you like to date
any of the single ladies of the show. I got
one right here.

Speaker 3 (49:02):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (49:02):
Maybe, Oh she's playing hard to get would you? You
know what? Lydia or I'm sorry, Bianca is the only
one that dates that ye have more hurry.

Speaker 7 (49:11):
Yeah, if Biaga's a nineteen year old doesn't work, she
can move up to her twenty one year old hair
TI this week. So appreciate you, buddy. Thanks so much.
It's great meeting You're good meeting you. Hey, Jacob, what's up?

Speaker 1 (49:24):
Jacob?

Speaker 3 (49:25):
Hey, isn't this like.

Speaker 6 (49:26):
Your third time being pulled over this year?

Speaker 1 (49:28):
Believe me, Jacob, I get pulled over a little bit.

Speaker 7 (49:31):
Yeah, but this was the first time for not speed
or first you know, the other ones have been speeding.

Speaker 1 (49:36):
This one was just holding onto my phone, Jacob.

Speaker 5 (49:39):
Well, that's what I was doing with my technitia, so.

Speaker 1 (49:43):
Right, yeah, be careful out there. What's going on? Kira?
How are you? Hey?

Speaker 23 (49:49):
Guys?

Speaker 15 (49:49):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (49:50):
You get out of tickets?

Speaker 21 (49:53):
I do.

Speaker 38 (49:53):
I get out of tickets all the time with my
scope and my bitch.

Speaker 1 (49:56):
Ooh. Where do you work at a hospital?

Speaker 6 (50:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 38 (50:00):
So, I'm a nurse. I always it doesn't matter where
I'm going to make sure that I keep my badge
in the car with me, and I always keep my
work back. But if not, I have an extra cheap
little stuff of soap and I'll thw it around my neck.
Really passed and put my badge over to the left side.
They they said, oh, well, I don't want to give
a nurse a ticket.

Speaker 23 (50:20):
It's the best career I could have.

Speaker 39 (50:22):
Shows the first feeding tickets that if you.

Speaker 1 (50:25):
Got it, that's true. Isy. What's up, busy, how you doing?

Speaker 20 (50:29):
Good morning?

Speaker 1 (50:30):
Good morning?

Speaker 23 (50:31):
How do you.

Speaker 3 (50:33):
So?

Speaker 33 (50:34):
Is door dashing for me? I remember one morning I
was door I was trying to accept an order and
the police I don't know where they came from, but
he was like, yeah, you were speeding. I'm like, okay,
I'm sorry. I'm door dashing trying to accept an order.
He was like, okay, well your license is clean. You're
trying to make a little bit of money, so be safe.

Speaker 1 (50:54):
Oh that's nice. I like that. I like that. He was.
He was realizing that you're just trying to you know,
the bills, right, Yes. Yeah. I love you guys so much.
We love you too. Hey, Ashley, what's going on, Ashley?

Speaker 40 (51:12):
Nothing much?

Speaker 23 (51:13):
Driving home from work.

Speaker 1 (51:14):
How do you get out of tickets?

Speaker 19 (51:17):
I did so.

Speaker 40 (51:18):
I didn't do it intentionally, but I got pulled over
the other day driving from Holt and the cop pulled
me over and asked me why or if I knew
why he was pulling me over, and I said no,
And there was actually a lady that sped past me.
Come to find out, she was going one hundred down
the road and she had the same car as me.

Speaker 23 (51:40):
So they pulled us both over.

Speaker 40 (51:42):
Luckily I didn't get the ticket she did, but I
almost got a ticket for her going one hundred.

Speaker 7 (51:48):
I always wonder why they pull you over when that
was the person that sped past, but that that does happen,
like if you're if you're driving, I always feel like
they picked the car that they think is the one
that they can give a bigger ticket to. Erica, what's up, Erica?

Speaker 12 (52:03):
Hi?

Speaker 2 (52:03):
This is Justin Worfield's girlfriend.

Speaker 1 (52:05):
Hey, what's going on?

Speaker 17 (52:08):
Hey?

Speaker 36 (52:08):
I when I was sixteen, I was racing home from
work to go to volleyball practice and I was going
down Vandike and I got pulled over and I told
the guy that I was on my period, and he
told me that he went back to his car and
I hear him coming back and he's like, dude, she's
on her period.

Speaker 24 (52:26):
We gotta let her go.

Speaker 10 (52:27):
Oh my god, that's what I've never.

Speaker 36 (52:32):
Nobody wants to get yelled on the Kardashians and it worked.

Speaker 1 (52:36):
Oh that is priceless. That is so good. H Brook.
What do you is it that gets you out of tickets? Brook?

Speaker 13 (52:44):
I got pulled over speating and he asked for all
my information and then he was like, before I run this,
do you have any warrants? And I said, oh no,
I don't have any warrans. I just typed them. And
he said excuse me, and I said, oh, I worked
on a prop Peter's office, me just handling my stuff.

Speaker 7 (53:04):
Yeah, I would think that that's a good one. Got
to you know, it's it's who you know, not what
you know.

Speaker 1 (53:09):
Right there? You a man?

Speaker 7 (53:11):
And then I like, hold on a second, this is
oh this one right here? The Diane, Diane, what got
you out of a ticket?

Speaker 3 (53:20):
Oh?

Speaker 20 (53:20):
I was having a P day when the policeman entered
came up to my door. He came up and I said, oh,
I'm having a P day and he said what do
you mean. I showed him my face. I said, I
have poison ivy on my face. I had just come
from the podiatrist. And then I said to him, I said,
but now I have a policeman at my I am

(53:43):
so sorry. I am so sorry. He goes, I do
not pay this ticket. He goes, I have to write it.
He goes, but do not pay it. And I went
to court and I got out of it. I'm a teacher,
and my kids love to hear my stories. I have
so many.

Speaker 7 (53:56):
Oh my god, I wonder if teachers get off on tickets.
I wonder if they you know, because you know what
this person judging your kim. Wow, that's amazing. And then
last one here the person who got pulled over. Marcela.
Is it Marcella? Yeah, you got pulled over and you
told them your water broke.

Speaker 31 (54:18):
Yes.

Speaker 12 (54:19):
And I was two months before my two months before
my du date, and I was speeding through a pleasant
ridge and he put me over. He said, why are
you going so fance?

Speaker 14 (54:30):
I said, my water just broke.

Speaker 12 (54:31):
I put water down there, and he said, do you
want me to get an EMS? I said no, because
I don't want the bill. I could just go to
the hospital. He said, just go, just go, just go,
and then two weeks later, a month, my water break.

Speaker 10 (54:45):
I'm nervous to lie about that, right escort.

Speaker 7 (54:50):
Yeah, I wonder what would happen if they did take
you to the hospital and they go their water or
didn't break, if you would get like well the rest of.

Speaker 12 (54:59):
No, because when you're pregnant you can lose amiotic flew it.
But it's okay, okay, it's just okay. But the next
time when it did break, I was all the way
up in Fleet and my husband had some fly back down.
Oh no, and that we flew past the state and everything,
and he didn't even pull us over. And this was
around the time seventy five was being worked on.

Speaker 1 (55:19):
You know, it's funny you don't You don't lie and
say Grandma died, and you don't lie and say your
water broke, especially if you don't want to go into
premature labor. Amazing. All right, Well, I'm gonna try the
water broke thing. See what happens. All right, sir, Do
you don't want to pull you over? I don't know, officer,
because you.

Speaker 16 (55:34):
Suck and you feel like being a te No, it's
because you're speeding through mojo in the.

Speaker 1 (55:37):
Morning, Wake your asshole morning.

Speaker 9 (55:42):
I always wake up to Mujo the Morning.

Speaker 7 (55:47):
Jingle Ball tickets right now eight four to four Mojo
Live eight four four six six five six five four eight.
We'll give you a pair of tickets to go to
our jingle Ball CA have you said, how many days
away is jingle Ball one? Two twenty two days away?
You'll be hanging out with us. Nelly Shine Down eight
four four Mojo Live.

Speaker 6 (56:07):
Jordan the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 7 (56:09):
He gets caught up on what's trending in the Dirty
on the thirty. Waking up tired after that game.

Speaker 9 (56:14):
Like I did well.

Speaker 10 (56:15):
I watched almost until the ends. But the Lions are.
Lions are now six and four after last night's lost
to the Eagles.

Speaker 9 (56:26):
Coach Dan Campbell after the game, we.

Speaker 8 (56:28):
All got a hand in it for me, you know,
the coaches, all of us, man, everybody that's part of
this offense. You know, we got to be better, especially
in a day like today, when you're playing that kind
of defense, that kind of team. You know, the margin
forera is so small. Man, you don't have the luxury
like we get in the red zone. We have to
score touchdown, man, We can't come away not scoring seven there.

(56:52):
You know we have to convert at least two or
three of those fourth downs. You know you have to,
and we just we just were I don't like to.

Speaker 10 (57:01):
Be negative on the team that I root for. However,
it was a painful game to watch.

Speaker 1 (57:05):
It was boring on both sides. I got to tell
you that, Dan, I get it. You're always going to
go for it on fourth down.

Speaker 7 (57:13):
There's a couple of times, though I'm not putting that
much pressure on my defense, and they weren't. You know,
like the whole idea of the fake punt that might
have been the dumbest thing ever at that at that
position on the field. I don't know, and I know
if he gets it, we're all calling him here work,
but don't do it against Philadelphia though.

Speaker 1 (57:32):
I think a lot of.

Speaker 16 (57:33):
It had to do with the wind, especially when you
get down in the red zone territory, you keep going
for it. The win was atrocious last night. We got
the best punter, and I get it.

Speaker 7 (57:42):
You don't want to kick field goals because I don't
know if you saw any of Jake's pregame that win.
Bro In fact, ball was all over the place. But
we got a great punter. Just punt the ball and
let our defense do what they do.

Speaker 16 (57:54):
The defense was incredible last night side of Kelvin shepherd
Head and boys. Ready, wasn't our finest game. I'm still
not throwing the talent.

Speaker 7 (58:01):
What do you think of this? The offensive coordinator? This
Morton guys, they showed him yesterday. He looks dejected sitting
up in the When.

Speaker 16 (58:08):
Your head coach takes away your job of calling plays,
that's probably how you show up to work.

Speaker 1 (58:13):
They say. I was watching something on ESPN and they
were saying that there's a I don't know if he's
an offensive line coach or whatever, they think he should
be the next offensive coordinator.

Speaker 7 (58:23):
I guess he and Ben were really close. Ben almost
brought him with him to the Bears.

Speaker 1 (58:27):
But there's assistance on the team that I'm surprised Dan
hasn't had ready to go to be the offensive coordinator potentially.

Speaker 9 (58:35):
While we're talking football.

Speaker 10 (58:36):
By the way, Jack White, co founder obviously the White
Stripes performing at halftime of the Lions Thanksgiving the game against.

Speaker 9 (58:42):
The Green Bay Packers.

Speaker 10 (58:43):
We got that info after finding out that Marshall Mathers
and Paul Rosenberg were going to be producing.

Speaker 9 (58:50):
The halftime show. So yeah, that is the pick. It is.
It is Jack.

Speaker 1 (58:54):
White and White Stripes just got inducted into the Yeah,
rock and roll.

Speaker 9 (58:58):
Yeah, this is writer.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
Yeah, this is crazy.

Speaker 9 (59:03):
Yeah with the light flash.

Speaker 6 (59:05):
My bad.

Speaker 9 (59:10):
Because I can't.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
Buga crazy doesn't he does?

Speaker 7 (59:16):
Does he still own? What is the theater he owns downtown?
Jack White is still on? Like the Shelter or whatever?
The or which theater I'm sorry?

Speaker 2 (59:22):
Which hews one of the owns third records?

Speaker 3 (59:26):
I know?

Speaker 1 (59:27):
Yeah, I thought he owned one of the the big
theaters downtown, Jack Whites.

Speaker 10 (59:34):
He does not own the Masonic, but he paid back taxes, Yeah.

Speaker 9 (59:38):
To save it from foreclosure. That's pretty cool.

Speaker 10 (59:42):
Okay, another dirty Today, President Trump has told House Republicans
to vote to release the Ebstein file, saying there is
nothing to hide. He wrote on truth Social yesterday, it
is time to move on from this Democrat hoax perpetrated
by radical left lunatics in order to deflect from the
great success of the World Publican Party, including our recent
victory on the Democrat shut down.

Speaker 5 (01:00:03):
This is a Democrat hoax.

Speaker 41 (01:00:05):
This is a hoax put out by the Democrat and
a couple of few Republicans have gone along with it.

Speaker 9 (01:00:11):
He said.

Speaker 10 (01:00:11):
The Department of Justice has already turned over tens of
thousands of pages to the public on Epstein, but again,
he's been pulled deeper into the scandals since the release
of a handful of Epstein emails by the House Oversite
Committee Democrats that mentioned the President, including a reference to

(01:00:32):
him as the quote unquote dog that has not barked
the White House, saying those emails were selectively leaked to
create a fake narrative to smear President Trump.

Speaker 1 (01:00:42):
Bullbo. I think that they're going to release them and
we're going to get nothing out of the whole deal.

Speaker 10 (01:00:46):
I still say we're never going to get the full
story there.

Speaker 7 (01:00:50):
Ever, Ever, over the weekend, they were saying that there
were some Congress people that were calling or texting with
Epstein to ask him like questions to ask during one
of the trials that they were trying to do back
when to see the involvement that a lot of political
people had with him, and he was actually texting back

(01:01:11):
with him, Like the amount of people that actually know
this guy is unbelievable, and it's amazing to me that
we just don't release these damn things see what's in there,
and then when we find out who is in there,
we do something against them. I don't know if they
can prosecute him right now, but they should definitely be shunned.

(01:01:31):
If you were having sex with minors, your yeah, pedophile yep.

Speaker 1 (01:01:35):
So you say he wants them out now, there's.

Speaker 10 (01:01:39):
Nothing to hide, Yes, release them all everything. Real quick
update on civil rights legend the Reverend Jesse Jackson. He
is in the hospital in Chicago as doctors treat him
for a rare neurological disorder that he's been battling for
years and years.

Speaker 9 (01:01:52):
He is eighty four.

Speaker 10 (01:01:54):
I know there was a lot of confusion over the
weekend after some somebody started a rumor that he was
on life support.

Speaker 9 (01:02:01):
He is not.

Speaker 10 (01:02:02):
His family pushing back hard on that rumor, saying he
is not on life support. He is breathing on his
own and he is in stable condition. And I feel
like I need to warn other parents about this. I
was tipped off on social media and then my kids,
Lucy and Smith had it on last night before the
Lions game, and sure enough it happened. The movie Home

(01:02:23):
Alone Christmas Classic. Well, if your kids won't stop saying
six seven. Beware there are a few scenes.

Speaker 2 (01:02:33):
Well the sixth seventy two, six seventy one six sist.

Speaker 1 (01:02:43):
Forna.

Speaker 10 (01:02:48):
They're gonna go nuts because it's mentioned at least four
times in home alone.

Speaker 9 (01:02:53):
So prepare yourself by the line. I'm hearing that some
schools are now cracking down on this.

Speaker 10 (01:03:00):
Smith's second grade teacher is if she hears six seven,
they lose six or seven recesses, so the kids.

Speaker 9 (01:03:09):
Will not say it anymore.

Speaker 10 (01:03:11):
I know that there's an entire district in Indianapolis and
the school resource officers in that district started giving tickets
to kids who won't stop saying it and they miss recess.

Speaker 9 (01:03:24):
If they get a.

Speaker 10 (01:03:24):
Ticket, it's now illegal to use just because it's in
the school. Because it is like teachers are losing their
sanity over how often kids are saying but yeah, home loan.

Speaker 9 (01:03:36):
There's your morning, all.

Speaker 10 (01:03:37):
Right if you miss anything from today's so you can
go back and check out the podcast on the free
iHeart Radio and Mojo in the.

Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
Morning on social media. Christ it's Mojue in the Morning's
dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:03:48):
You get away some jingle ball tickets.

Speaker 7 (01:03:53):
Let me get Nicole. Nicole, you're a winner. Congratulations, you're
gonna be.

Speaker 19 (01:03:57):
Comment at jingle Ball, Yes, thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (01:04:00):
And December the ninth at Little Caesar's Arena. Who we
excited to see.

Speaker 23 (01:04:08):
All of them now that you signed down Big X
the plugs. You know my son will be excited about
the K Pop Demon Hunters.

Speaker 21 (01:04:13):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:04:14):
By the way, what's right now? Worse in your household?
Six seven or K Pop Demon Hunters? Which one are
you more tired of? One is okay, we're not cool anymore.

Speaker 10 (01:04:29):
If we don't, you're not cool anymore. If we're still
doing six to seven.

Speaker 7 (01:04:32):
Well, guess what you got tickets and congratulations to you.
You're going to be a jingle Ball and we're going
to see you on December the ninth, and we cannot.

Speaker 1 (01:04:40):
Wait the call.

Speaker 3 (01:04:42):
Yeah, thank you so much.

Speaker 28 (01:04:43):
It's my son's birthday.

Speaker 6 (01:04:44):
He's on.

Speaker 1 (01:04:44):
I'm bringing sweet a Mom. Hold on hell, Mason.

Speaker 5 (01:04:53):
Second date update happens after eight Mocho and.

Speaker 1 (01:04:56):
The boys guy interrupted you deep boys, guys, say what's
his name again?

Speaker 28 (01:05:01):
His name is Mason?

Speaker 21 (01:05:02):
The Summer Night.

Speaker 7 (01:05:03):
Uh, Mason, have a fantastic birthday, buddy. We love you,
Thank you, le you hang on one second. We are
joined in studio here right now by somebody who I
have been a fan of from Afar. I get a
chance to listen to them after our show. When I
want to go and steal anything I possibly can for

(01:05:25):
tomorrow's show, I'll hear what Elvis Duran in the Morning
Show are doing and I will then go, Okay, guys,
I got this great idea. We're going to do this,
and I know it's going to work because Elvis is
the best.

Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
He's a legend.

Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
You know that Elvis was the first consultant of the
mojo on the Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (01:05:41):
Did you know that?

Speaker 24 (01:05:42):
I had no idea he even did that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:44):
So he only did it. He did it before he
became rich and famous in a New York syndicated guy. Wow,
he was just starting.

Speaker 7 (01:05:51):
He kind of started doing mornings around the same time
that I was starting to do mornings here, and he
became like he was like my coach. So he'd come
to town a couple of times with Tom Pullman and
he would you know it. Basically it was funny because
we would hang out with each other and he'd go, hey,
let's just share some ideas.

Speaker 6 (01:06:05):
He would.

Speaker 7 (01:06:06):
It was kind of like mentoring each other type of thing,
and uh, he's such a great guy. I've never met
anybody with more humility than Elvis.

Speaker 2 (01:06:14):
Oh that's so nice.

Speaker 42 (01:06:15):
I'm gonna te him you said that. And we did
a whole break on you and Joe and how much
I love you guys for helping me out.

Speaker 24 (01:06:19):
I was here, so thank you.

Speaker 21 (01:06:20):
So.

Speaker 7 (01:06:20):
Gandhi is from the Elvis Durand Morning Show. Gandhi also
was on a legendary show in Columbus for many years
that with Dave and Jimmy, which I loved you on
that show too, and.

Speaker 1 (01:06:31):
Shut out Dave and Jimmy.

Speaker 7 (01:06:33):
And I've never got a chance to meet her, but
I've always got a chance to listen to her. And
then this weekend, out of the blue, I get a
text message from my son Joe, are you okay with
talking about this? So I get a text message from
Joe and Joe says, Dad, you gotta help Gandhi, and
I go, how can I help Gandhi?

Speaker 1 (01:06:50):
What am I going to do?

Speaker 7 (01:06:51):
And honestly, when I when I hear that stuff, I
always instantly think I heard you started firing a bunch
of people. For a second, I hate that, Like when
people like tell me someone so let go can you
you know whatever? Oh wow, but this is even worse
than getting fired. This is the life of your your
beloved boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (01:07:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 24 (01:07:09):
Absolutely.

Speaker 42 (01:07:10):
He had a bit of a medical emergency that took
him into the hospital on Tuesday afternoon. He was supposed
to have a procedure Wednesday, Wednesday, goes by, Thursday, goes by, Friday,
goes By. He's still in the hospital getting no procedure done.
They kept kicking it down the road, and it was
really stressing me out because when you're in a place
that you don't know and you're not feeling well, that's terrifying.

Speaker 1 (01:07:30):
It was a Michigan hospital.

Speaker 24 (01:07:31):
It was a Michigan hospital.

Speaker 42 (01:07:32):
He lives here, so I flew here Friday to try
and help him figure out, like what is going on
and how do we get this settled? And then I thought, oh,
I bet Joe and Mojo have a way to help
me out here. And I never call in favors ever,
and I called you guys.

Speaker 9 (01:07:46):
You needed to call in a favor.

Speaker 24 (01:07:47):
He's got back to me in.

Speaker 42 (01:07:48):
Like a minute, like a minute, two minutes, and everything
got worked out. And I cannot thank you enough because
I mean, you really helped him out.

Speaker 7 (01:07:54):
Shout out by the way to Michigan Medicine, did she
Gandhi's boyfriend was not in a University of Michigan hospital.

Speaker 1 (01:08:01):
He was in a opposing hospital. I don't know if
they call him what. He was in the opposing team's hospital.

Speaker 7 (01:08:08):
Arrival and they were kind of like, I don't know
what they were doing. But it took for my friends
at Michigan Medicine, lou Anne over at Michigan Medicine to
talk to you and basically say, here's what you gotta
do to get this done. And then all of a
sudden they go, oh crap, they know somebody.

Speaker 2 (01:08:24):
How is he doing post procedure.

Speaker 24 (01:08:26):
He's doing really well. He's doing great now.

Speaker 42 (01:08:28):
Yeah, he said, he feels better than he's felt in
months because they fixed what was going on.

Speaker 24 (01:08:32):
And yeah, I'm happy.

Speaker 42 (01:08:33):
And now I get to hang out in the studios
with all of you.

Speaker 9 (01:08:35):
So that's awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:08:37):
Wait, so okay, so this he's not from Michigan originally,
he's just working here or what is the story?

Speaker 42 (01:08:42):
He lives here now, so he's moved all over the place.
We met in Columbus, Ohio when I was in sixth grade.
Then both of us moved away.

Speaker 1 (01:08:49):
You were in sixth grade?

Speaker 9 (01:08:50):
How old is he?

Speaker 3 (01:08:51):
Ye?

Speaker 1 (01:08:52):
So you guys knew each other from grade school?

Speaker 3 (01:08:54):
Yes?

Speaker 9 (01:08:55):
Oh I love this.

Speaker 42 (01:08:57):
I was going to say, no, I wrote bad things
about him my diary.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
Really when did you guys start dating?

Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Uh?

Speaker 24 (01:09:04):
Six years ago?

Speaker 1 (01:09:05):
Okay?

Speaker 13 (01:09:06):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:09:06):
So how did it come? How did you guys circle
back into each other's lives?

Speaker 42 (01:09:10):
So we always followed each other on social media? And
then I saw him post a picture outside the World
Trade Center, which was just a few blocks down from
our old studios in Manhattan, and I just sent him
a message like, really, dude, you're in town.

Speaker 24 (01:09:21):
You can't even say hi?

Speaker 1 (01:09:21):
And of course I.

Speaker 9 (01:09:22):
Thought it was cute.

Speaker 24 (01:09:23):
So hopeing he reached back out.

Speaker 42 (01:09:24):
And he did, and then we hung out and it's
been ever since.

Speaker 9 (01:09:29):
That's the cutest story.

Speaker 1 (01:09:30):
Where does he live here in town?

Speaker 24 (01:09:32):
He lives much closer to Flint.

Speaker 1 (01:09:34):
Okay, so yeah, okay, yeah, Actually.

Speaker 7 (01:09:37):
Wait, so you come to town here or does he
come to New York to we go back and forth
when you come to to Detroit or to Michigan. You're
you're hanging out and like the you're on the sticks
as they call it.

Speaker 1 (01:09:47):
Yeah, and I know, no, you missed the big city.

Speaker 24 (01:09:53):
I miss the big city a little bit.

Speaker 42 (01:09:55):
I just you guys have the best sunsets out here, though,
so I enjoy that.

Speaker 24 (01:09:59):
And the phenomenon that makes me laugh.

Speaker 42 (01:10:01):
So hard, which is roadkill with the balloon that says
get well soon my way this morning.

Speaker 16 (01:10:10):
No road kill for sure. Not all dressed s uff
though too. That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:10:17):
We had that. And honestly, people will put you know,
like if God forbid somebody loses a family member or
something in the car actent, they put the the crosses
and memorials and Teddy Bears and stuff like that.

Speaker 24 (01:10:27):
Yeah, but not the animals.

Speaker 1 (01:10:28):
How long are you here?

Speaker 24 (01:10:29):
I'm leaving today?

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
Okay? Did you park in the parking lot?

Speaker 9 (01:10:31):
I did?

Speaker 1 (01:10:32):
Okay. I've learned that there are like rules when parking,
So when I seen that car parked in the wrong way,
I was like, yeah, that must be somebody. Hopefully you'll
be all right though. Is that his car that you're driving?

Speaker 24 (01:10:46):
No, I rented a car.

Speaker 1 (01:10:47):
You rented a car. Gandhi has been with Elvis for
how many years?

Speaker 6 (01:10:51):
Now?

Speaker 7 (01:10:51):
Eleven seven years? You guys have been together. You're on
a bajillion radio stations, right, Yeah, I don't.

Speaker 42 (01:10:57):
Know how many, but yes, between seventy five and eighty.

Speaker 7 (01:11:00):
Whoa, So what are we going to do if this
thing becomes Okay, we're going to make him mister Gandhi like,
what if we is he gonna well, you guys long
distance it or would you ever tell it? Because I
know Elvis sometimes will do the show from other places.
Will you ever say to Elvis, I'll move to Michigan
and I'll be you know, No, So.

Speaker 42 (01:11:21):
I love this question. First of all, I'm not the
marriage type. I don't ever want to get married. Yeah,
I would like to stay in a relationship for a long.

Speaker 24 (01:11:29):
Time, but I don't want to get married.

Speaker 1 (01:11:30):
It puts too much pressure on it.

Speaker 42 (01:11:32):
Yeah, I just feel like it, you know, getting the
government involved.

Speaker 24 (01:11:34):
I don't need that.

Speaker 42 (01:11:35):
And I think it's more romantic if I know that
any given moment someone can walk, he can live.

Speaker 1 (01:11:39):
The government shuts down. Does your relationship shut down like
during a government shutdown?

Speaker 24 (01:11:43):
What a question?

Speaker 1 (01:11:44):
I don't know. That's interesting. Yeah, I guess when you're
putting the legal parts together.

Speaker 10 (01:11:47):
But would you ever find yourself in a position of
wanting to be in the same place, always with him,
and not doing the long distance thing anymore.

Speaker 24 (01:11:54):
I don't even know what that would be.

Speaker 6 (01:11:55):
Like.

Speaker 42 (01:11:56):
I've I'll almost always do long distance because I've moved
around a lot. I would not be opposed at all
if he moved to New York City.

Speaker 1 (01:12:03):
What if? What if you find out something about him
when you guys lived together, that is, you know, like
what I.

Speaker 42 (01:12:11):
Think I found out this weekend for the first time
because he for the first time six years, he did
the thing with the bathroom door open, and I was like, no,
this is over.

Speaker 1 (01:12:20):
Oh my he did.

Speaker 24 (01:12:23):
I don't know what he was doing. I don't know
if he was just I know. That's why I let
it go.

Speaker 42 (01:12:27):
But I thought about being like, oh, really, relationship under.

Speaker 1 (01:12:29):
Shut the door, that's what we made it. Yeah, you can.

Speaker 7 (01:12:32):
I tell you something. When you are when you have
a love, the person that you love and they go
through a medical thing and you got to go and
in your case, you had to go to his bedside
at a hospital, that's when you know who truly loves you.

Speaker 24 (01:12:46):
Yeah, I mean I think so.

Speaker 1 (01:12:48):
And then honestly, that's how when you know you love
that person, when you can nurse through and kind of
deal with all when you see them in that hospital
gown with their bare ass sticking out of everything, and
then on the toilet and the whoa wait, did you
have to pull the string for him on the flush
or whatever?

Speaker 43 (01:13:03):
The deal is?

Speaker 42 (01:13:04):
No, thank god, no, he could handle it himself. But
I was like, oh God, not this.

Speaker 7 (01:13:08):
You Were you in the before the whole hospital thing
and making the phone call and stuff. Were you like
going to the nurses station and like pounding then the table,
pulling out little New York attitude?

Speaker 42 (01:13:18):
I called you before I even got to the hospital
because I was like, I want to be armed with
what I need to be armed with when I walk
in and set foot in there, so I can start
flipping the tables.

Speaker 7 (01:13:26):
I love it, all right, Tell Tell Elvis and Danielle
and Scary and all those guys that we.

Speaker 24 (01:13:31):
Said hello, I will they love you.

Speaker 1 (01:13:33):
I love them too, They love Elvis. Did such a solid.
You guys did such a solid for Joe.

Speaker 7 (01:13:39):
Joe, my son down in Tampa's going through a struggle
at the time, and I thought it was such a
cool thing. Elvis found out through Dennis Clark that Joe
was kind of struggling, kind of doubting himself. Elvis personally,
this is no joke. Personally paid for his plane, tickets,
his hotel room. It wasn't like I heard paying for
the thing and flew him up to hang out with
you guys for the day. Completely changed his his feelings

(01:14:02):
towards himself, and Elvis gave great things.

Speaker 2 (01:14:04):
So no, I think I'm feeling that way right now.

Speaker 1 (01:14:07):
Elvis will fly you somewhere.

Speaker 7 (01:14:09):
Elvis is Seriously, it's like the most gent I'm telling you,
there's nobody more generous than Elvis Durant.

Speaker 24 (01:14:15):
You are absolutely right, that's true.

Speaker 1 (01:14:17):
Oh last thing, real quick, Timmy want to say hi
to you before you have to leave. What's uptivity?

Speaker 19 (01:14:22):
Hey, Ganny, I was just calling or I just I
kind of text in.

Speaker 4 (01:14:25):
I am happily thirteen years not married.

Speaker 1 (01:14:28):
So I feel you.

Speaker 4 (01:14:29):
I actually you're the first person I've ever heard that. Like,
I'm not interested in that, but like the rest of it, Yes,
it's not that whole marriage part.

Speaker 24 (01:14:36):
Yeah, here's to you.

Speaker 1 (01:14:38):
And no plans on your part too, no plans of
doing that.

Speaker 6 (01:14:42):
Nope.

Speaker 4 (01:14:43):
No, We've got three beautiful kids and a whole lot
of pets and we've been Yeah, we've been together thirteen years.

Speaker 1 (01:14:49):
Got me and Tivity. Do you guys ever like wear
fake rings just to pretend? Or no?

Speaker 7 (01:14:54):
Never, no, so I don't even know that. Okay, all right,
she's going back to She's going back to her show.
You can listen to it on the I heard app.
Please don't though, we don't want to lose you, but
but we love you. See you, Gandhi, Thanks Tivan, I
appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (01:15:08):
Detroit, Toledo. This is Mojo in the Morning Mojo. He's
amazing live Mojo.

Speaker 43 (01:15:29):
One go.

Speaker 1 (01:15:30):
Let me take you back to the beginning.

Speaker 6 (01:15:32):
Alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 1 (01:15:36):
You're a doo doo ahead, don't let's go all right.

Speaker 7 (01:15:43):
We have jingle Ball tickets coming up this morning and
also are Thanksgiving with the Mojo in the Morning show
right after this next topic. Okay, so get ready to
have Thanksgiving with Mojo in the Morning. U. Second ate
update is later this hour and also later this hour,
A couple of good topics that you got to stick
around for.

Speaker 1 (01:16:02):
Bragging about his money.

Speaker 7 (01:16:04):
Is that a way to actually get a date or
get one of Shannon's single friends. She'll talk about that
and this weekend, I watched that show All Her Fault,
which if you haven't binged it yet, it's it's really good.
But I was watching it with the subtitles on, and
I gotta be honest with you, I got to take
on subtitles and watching with subtitles. We'll talk about that

(01:16:28):
all this morning here on the Mojo in the Morning Show.
First though, So keV was at the Pistons game on Friday,
and you witnessed Bianca on.

Speaker 1 (01:16:39):
Her date with her nineteen year old boyfriend. I did, man,
I did. She willed him in and a stroller and.

Speaker 16 (01:16:48):
Had she had his bib ball wrapped around him for popcorn.
They were sharing Condon candy together. I saw his picture
on our Instagram. He doesn't look young though, No, you
guys look the same. He's got a rick rossbeard. He's
got a full face here. But it was interesting though, man, Obviously,
like I wasn't staring at them the whole time, like
I was a chaperone making sure he didn't have his

(01:17:09):
hands too far for dress or.

Speaker 1 (01:17:10):
Anything like that.

Speaker 16 (01:17:11):
Yeah, I was too busy working and watching the game.
But it was very interesting to see almost like a
different side of Bianca.

Speaker 1 (01:17:19):
She seemed like a.

Speaker 16 (01:17:20):
Little girl that was excited to like be outside with
her crush, Like for real, like.

Speaker 2 (01:17:25):
You seem like she looks giddy, right, yes, Like he.

Speaker 1 (01:17:28):
Was like, young, blessed you like this? Do they hold
hands like when they walk.

Speaker 16 (01:17:34):
Or I don't think they're holding downs when they were walking,
though we.

Speaker 22 (01:17:38):
Did not show any affection because his dad was chaperoning
us also do that, But I.

Speaker 1 (01:17:42):
Do believe that I seen.

Speaker 16 (01:17:44):
I don't know if they separated shoulders. They were damn there,
like conjoined twins the whole time. I'm sitting in the
seat all bunched up together close.

Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
It's because you had winter jackets and you guys were
kind of winter jackets.

Speaker 2 (01:17:55):
It was just like t shirts.

Speaker 1 (01:17:56):
Hey wait, were you getting close to him or was
he getting close to you?

Speaker 2 (01:18:01):
It was a little bit of both.

Speaker 22 (01:18:02):
We were going to do like one of those sneaky
Instagram stories with this hand in my thigh.

Speaker 1 (01:18:06):
But you don't know who the guy was.

Speaker 2 (01:18:07):
I thought you did.

Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
No, we did.

Speaker 22 (01:18:09):
We did our likes next to each other because we
were like that's a little too much right now.

Speaker 7 (01:18:12):
Wait, his dad it works for the Pistons also, so
he's there at the game, so yeah, is he watching
you guys like Kevinick?

Speaker 22 (01:18:19):
I think he was just roaming around kind of watching
us from afar. He did mention when I first met him,
he said, you guys can be friends for a very
long period of time, but I never want you guys
to be dating.

Speaker 1 (01:18:30):
What was he kidding? I don't know.

Speaker 24 (01:18:33):
I couldn't really get the vibe.

Speaker 9 (01:18:36):
Wait, this is his dad.

Speaker 1 (01:18:37):
He is saying that.

Speaker 2 (01:18:38):
Yes, at the game.

Speaker 9 (01:18:41):
I heard yeah he said.

Speaker 22 (01:18:43):
I don't know if he said never want you guys
to be dating, but something around the lines of you
guys don't need to be dating, but you guys can
have a really long friendship.

Speaker 9 (01:18:49):
What did he give specifics on why he doesn't want
you to date?

Speaker 10 (01:18:52):
Is it the age thing like your dads thing too.

Speaker 22 (01:18:55):
I'm not sure. I wasn't going to ask questions at
the game. I was just trying to relax.

Speaker 16 (01:19:01):
He wasn't chaperone, but you can see him. I've never
seen him in that section as much.

Speaker 11 (01:19:07):
Does the disapproval of disapproval of both of your parents
ever make you feel like like this is not worth it?

Speaker 2 (01:19:14):
I feel like I always have an issue.

Speaker 22 (01:19:16):
No, And actually I think now after this past weekend,
my parents actually are starting to come around more, which
is great.

Speaker 1 (01:19:20):
A little update on that, but it was I'm not
gonna lie.

Speaker 22 (01:19:24):
From my perspective, it was a little weird seeing Kevin
because he was because you're so in game mode, it's
very different when you're here, and when I'm seeing you
with like a guy I'm talking to, I'm like, I
don't know if I should say hi or like whatever,
Like I knew I believe you kiss and I was like,
what keV? And then after I was like, I don't
know if I should.

Speaker 2 (01:19:41):
Have done that ked get an official introduction to him.

Speaker 22 (01:19:44):
I already know, like I not know him, but I
wanted to say hi to keV after the game, and
so did my little boyfriend. And I don't call him
a little boyfriend boyfriend, but he was like, why isn't keV.

Speaker 2 (01:19:56):
Where's Kevin?

Speaker 22 (01:19:57):
I've never seen him leave this early after a game.
Texted you you already dipped the game and like within
the last five minutes and you.

Speaker 1 (01:20:03):
Were already out.

Speaker 16 (01:20:03):
I had stuff to do Friday, and to do to
prepare for my Saturday morning show on our Heart Radio
from eight to twenty, things to do, but I saw
y'all before the game.

Speaker 1 (01:20:12):
Why do I need to re see I don't think
you said hi. I think you just came out here
than you dipped. You didn't even talk. I think I
saw him two days ago. I saw that she was
like shooting baskets at the game too. Everything.

Speaker 22 (01:20:23):
We were like probably the last ones to leave the
whole venue.

Speaker 1 (01:20:26):
Wow, up around like twelve thirty. Oh my god, they're
in love.

Speaker 9 (01:20:30):
Wait, so did Dad drive you guys?

Speaker 2 (01:20:31):
You know he did follow us the whole way home.

Speaker 1 (01:20:33):
Though he did, okay, save it just was coincident.

Speaker 22 (01:20:38):
No, no, because he was leaving work. We were leaving
the game and he said, you guys better follow me.
So I was like, I don't know if he's going
to look at us there his review mirrors and for
like holding hands or.

Speaker 9 (01:20:48):
That part of the relationship.

Speaker 6 (01:20:50):
I don't.

Speaker 24 (01:20:51):
Actually, here's the thing.

Speaker 22 (01:20:53):
The Dad and I I feel like we were vibing
the okay a good time. It wasn't awkward, which I
feel very weird, especially the first time like hanging out
with it.

Speaker 7 (01:21:00):
This reminds me of every movie that used to be
like back It wasn't dirty dancing like all those movies
were always the parents didn't want you to be together.

Speaker 9 (01:21:09):
This reminds me of.

Speaker 10 (01:21:10):
The Duggers nineteen and counting and they'd sit in the
back seat.

Speaker 9 (01:21:14):
Yeah, like grown Yeah, chaperones.

Speaker 7 (01:21:17):
What's up with the parents, because the parents that don't
understand that when you tell your kids not to do something,
you're pushing them closer together. Yes, And I feel and
I feel like this is kind of like the thing
that you see in those whole in all those movies
where it's like the romantic movies where it's like the
kids you know this. I feel like we're going to
start listening to freaking Taylor Swift love.

Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
Story or something like that. No, I actually and Romeo
Juliet Zach just said, yeah.

Speaker 22 (01:21:44):
Well I think it's gonna be a good love story
if they do decide to come around one day. I still,
it's only been like a month, so we have a
long time ago.

Speaker 1 (01:21:52):
You got to meet the mama though, she's she's been
this lady, she's great.

Speaker 22 (01:21:56):
And him meeting my dad is going to be the
scariest part.

Speaker 7 (01:21:58):
Oh my god, I think your parents. I said this
to your dad on Friday. I think that your parents
will end up uh loving each other.

Speaker 22 (01:22:06):
So he so he saw a picture of him on
Saturday because he saw the picture I posted on the
Mojo Facebook and my dad's like, who is this thirty year.

Speaker 2 (01:22:14):
Old next to.

Speaker 3 (01:22:16):
That?

Speaker 1 (01:22:17):
He doesn't look Lauren? What's up?

Speaker 15 (01:22:22):
I hate to break it to you, but I think
your parents are doing some reverse psychology.

Speaker 14 (01:22:30):
What if?

Speaker 15 (01:22:31):
What if they actually do like him and they like
the thought? But they're telling you now because I do
this to my kids all day.

Speaker 7 (01:22:40):
Yeah, but do you do it to bring them closer
together or take them further apart?

Speaker 3 (01:22:45):
No?

Speaker 15 (01:22:45):
Closer together? I mean, what if she's she's a rebell rebellion, right,
So what if they're like, no.

Speaker 1 (01:22:55):
Such rebellion.

Speaker 7 (01:22:56):
She But here's the problem, though, is they won't meet
each other too. And that's the other thing that's really
kind of interesting with this.

Speaker 1 (01:23:03):
I think they're going to meet eventually. You know how
you always want to do a TikTok, You know how
I gotta take Lydia, I give it to me, go ahead,
give it. Oh my gosh, this is craziness.

Speaker 7 (01:23:19):
I really hope that you guys don't let this be
the reason why your relationship ever does end, because you'll
be forever then upset at your parents over this. I
think this relationship, if you guys, take it slow, will
be a good thing for you guys. And honestly, you
both are seeming like you're really enjoying your friendship level.

Speaker 1 (01:23:41):
First.

Speaker 9 (01:23:41):
Yeah, and you're both into each other. You're very sweet
with each other.

Speaker 22 (01:23:44):
And I love his family, like I never like fully
met his mom yet, but his dad is very cool.
I feel like him and I got along very well.

Speaker 7 (01:23:50):
Well, here's the other thing too. So you can tell
you're from a great family and you're a great person.
I can tell your parents are good people and they
raised you right him the same way, you know what
I mean, Like his parents raised raise them right. Then
you know what two positives make a multi ultimately, you know.

Speaker 1 (01:24:07):
An ultimate positive kids. No kids, We're not talking kids,
you guys, Kevin, I can't believe that said it was
by the way he he says stuff that if I said,
I would get Listen back to that last second. I
didn't say any. I think they look great to like

(01:24:28):
I'm looking forward to Thank God.

Speaker 44 (01:24:31):
This dating profile pick was a nine, but what showed
up was a three second date update is after read
this morning.

Speaker 5 (01:24:37):
Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (01:24:39):
All right, is Mojoe in the morning, Shannon went out
a girl's weekend with a bunch of her friends. Now,
all we're married, except for one is single, right.

Speaker 9 (01:24:47):
Yes, Brian carry single.

Speaker 3 (01:24:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:24:49):
Did you guys go.

Speaker 7 (01:24:49):
Out to any bars and and like hang out and
stuff in town?

Speaker 10 (01:24:53):
So we mostly like kind of kept to ourselves, except
there is this one dive bar that is apparently famous
for the locals of Marco Island, and it's called the Sandbar.
It is nothing fancy whatsoever. They had a horrible DJ.
I mean just absolutely dancing or no people were dancing,

(01:25:17):
people were drinking. But so there were there were five
of us total, like you said, four of us married
with kids, and then my friend Carrie is divorced with kids,
and she's a frickin bombshell. So when you go somewhere
with Carrie, it's like you walk in and the music
stops and everybody just turns and stairs.

Speaker 9 (01:25:36):
Yes, it's that.

Speaker 10 (01:25:37):
It's like a movie scene almost, And so that's exactly
what happened on Friday night when we went to this
this sandbar, this this place, and there was one guy
in particular who was eyeing her all night and at
one point kind of cornered her and proceeded to introduce
himself by saying that he was in the top one

(01:25:58):
percent of wealth on Marco Island.

Speaker 1 (01:26:02):
Wow.

Speaker 10 (01:26:03):
And Carrie Cary spicy.

Speaker 9 (01:26:06):
She's spicy and.

Speaker 10 (01:26:07):
Sassy and also truly does not care. And so she said,
I really don't care, was her response to him.

Speaker 9 (01:26:13):
This man had steam.

Speaker 10 (01:26:15):
Coming out of his ears because you could tell, apparently
that he's used this line before. And I think women
just like fall at his feet, you know, and want
to like jump in bed with him, and she just
didn't give two crabs. And so he then he started
to talk about the car that he drove and the
condo that he had on the water and the life
he wants to give his wife some day, and Carrie

(01:26:35):
was just not having it. He kept getting more and
more pissed off. And We're watching this and it's just hysterical.
And I'm thinking to myself, we were talking about this
on our way home, and like, do do guys who
do that realize? How do she you come off? It's
not it's it's doesn't mean. I mean maybe for some

(01:26:56):
women it.

Speaker 1 (01:26:57):
Must them, it must work.

Speaker 7 (01:26:59):
Honestly, I would I would think it probably works, and
it probably works. Honestly, I hate to say it for
these guys to date a little younger.

Speaker 17 (01:27:07):
M hm.

Speaker 2 (01:27:07):
I was gonna say the same thing.

Speaker 9 (01:27:09):
But the more you guys that was getting care.

Speaker 3 (01:27:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:27:12):
We just talked about him the other day. Oh yeah,
the guy at the New Day Foundation.

Speaker 2 (01:27:16):
Like, oh yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:27:17):
All he kept saying to me was how he owned
a nice condo and brush park and was like an
s VP of this.

Speaker 2 (01:27:23):
And now I'm like, I don't care.

Speaker 1 (01:27:25):
Yeah I do. I like a little wealth management going on,
all right with that. I mean sometimes I feel like
if that's all people can, if that's all people have,
or if they think that that's their best foot forward,
then that's what they're going to show. If you think
that your personality is the best, that's what you'll lead with.
If you don't have a personality to back it up,

(01:27:46):
you know. Check that was me. I had to be
the personality. I'm like, hey, hold on, have you heard
the one about the two guys that walked into it?

Speaker 7 (01:27:54):
Like I would have to try to make him laugh
right away, because that was the only thing. It was
either one of two things that would get me attention
with girls. Number one was they liked my personality. Number
two was dimples for some reason. They would go, oh,
you got dimples, and I'd be like, hold on a second,
let me keep showing them too. They actually don't go away,
believe it or not.

Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
I know I'm keeping That's what I would tell you.

Speaker 2 (01:28:15):
Keep speaking.

Speaker 9 (01:28:16):
This guy was so botox.

Speaker 10 (01:28:17):
You could tell he was angry, but you couldn't really
tell because it's so much botox.

Speaker 1 (01:28:21):
And he was Florida is like this.

Speaker 7 (01:28:23):
When we go down and visit Joe and we will
go out, like in clear Water. You'll go to places
for dinner and you'll see these guys pull up in
the valet with cars that I'm not lying to you
are more expensive than our homes. I mean way, like
ten times more expensive than our homes. And they'll pull
up and they'll give the valet the key. And then
you look at there's women that are kind of like

(01:28:43):
because they always have like outdoor bars and things. There's
women at the bars checking these guys out as they
park in the valet, and they must get it must
be the thing. And then I was talking to a
single buddy of mine. You know, my friend, a single.
I don't want to shout him out for this reason
I love, but he says when he goes down in
the winter time down to Palm Beach or West Palm Beach,

(01:29:05):
he said that tinder in Bumble and Hinge are amazing
down there because they all they look for are guys
that look like they have money. M m, yeah, so
that's pretty wild.

Speaker 10 (01:29:15):
But these guys were like you, you're in the top
one percent of wealth and you're at the sandbar.

Speaker 1 (01:29:21):
Come on, maybe that more men for you. But you
said that was the only place down there.

Speaker 10 (01:29:26):
It's maybe it's really it's really Yeah, it's it's a
fun place.

Speaker 7 (01:29:31):
But eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six
six five six five four eight. Question for you about
your single uh, your single divorced friend is uh? Is
she like she do? She does well? I mean, she
has her own job and all the rest.

Speaker 10 (01:29:46):
Of that's very successful and incredible mom to three girls.

Speaker 7 (01:29:49):
Because I wonder sometimes how many women who are divorced
that with kids that maybe they had a bad divorce
and maybe they don't didn't do well, or maybe they
didn't work or they have a job.

Speaker 10 (01:30:01):
She does all of you, and she wants to you know,
she wants to be married again someday.

Speaker 7 (01:30:04):
I wonder how many guys. But I wonder how many
how many guys?

Speaker 1 (01:30:10):
And by the way, I wonder what the top one
percent of Ferndale is what it's got to be. It's
gotta be up there.

Speaker 7 (01:30:15):
Yeah, But I wonder though, if there are a lot
of women though that look at that like divorcees are like,
oh good, well look at this. I can me and
my kids can get comfortable. What's up, Morgan? How you doing?

Speaker 3 (01:30:26):
Good?

Speaker 1 (01:30:26):
Are you guys today? Good?

Speaker 7 (01:30:28):
We want to hang out with some wealthy uh, wealthy
Botox guys hang down in Marco Island.

Speaker 1 (01:30:33):
What's going on? I'm not in the top one percent
of anything, but I have listened to you guys.

Speaker 3 (01:30:38):
For a walk time.

Speaker 14 (01:30:38):
So, Shannon, if.

Speaker 1 (01:30:39):
You have single friends, I have an awesome dog and
I have.

Speaker 3 (01:30:43):
At least two bottles of wine that I got.

Speaker 1 (01:30:45):
From my.

Speaker 9 (01:30:50):
Right there.

Speaker 7 (01:30:51):
Morgan, you are in the top one percent of Mojo
in the Morning listeners.

Speaker 1 (01:30:55):
We love you.

Speaker 3 (01:30:56):
Hey, let's go by the way, that.

Speaker 1 (01:30:59):
Is the greatest pick up line I've ever heard.

Speaker 3 (01:31:01):
That.

Speaker 1 (01:31:01):
Now, that's the personality that gets you like, what's up, Ashley?
How you doing?

Speaker 45 (01:31:06):
They're all being watched because those are the sugar daddies.

Speaker 21 (01:31:09):
Nojo.

Speaker 7 (01:31:10):
Yeah, I see it here in town too. I don't know, Ashley,
where are you from? Okay, so you know the Detroit
area for those and Grand Rapids in Toledo. I know,
we all have our areas that, you know, like East
Grand Rapids for everybody there, and then Sylvania and stuff
for uh down in Toledo. In Birmingham, Michigan, you go
to any of these restaurants, and there is a restaurant

(01:31:32):
there that Chelsea and I ate at with friends.

Speaker 1 (01:31:34):
And I pulled up in.

Speaker 7 (01:31:35):
My blue Chevy Tahoe from Gordon Chevrolet and it stuck
out like a sore thumb at Big Rock in Birmingham
as guys were pulling up in Lamborghini's. I mean, I've
never First off, I didn't know Lamberg. I didn't know
Lamborghini made an suv. They make an suv. Range Rovers.

Speaker 1 (01:31:54):
Range Rovers were like honestly, they were like Chevy's there.

Speaker 2 (01:31:57):
Yeah, It's like that looks like the least expensive.

Speaker 10 (01:32:00):
Do your thing, drive your fancy car that you good
for you. You have a great job and you worked hard
whatever and you got it. But the fact that like
this guy was banking, that's all he wanted to talk
about was so gross.

Speaker 1 (01:32:13):
It's not only what you drive up is like who
are you when you get out?

Speaker 7 (01:32:17):
Yeah, well you see these guys getting out and they're
wearing clothes that you know, honestly they probably are a
little too old for and they're like and they're like,
oh but all real, like everything is like so tight
on them.

Speaker 1 (01:32:28):
It's amazing, it's amazing, unbelievable. I look at them, I'm like, man,
these guys.

Speaker 14 (01:32:34):
You know, crazy in the market for sugar daddy.

Speaker 7 (01:32:37):
Yes, I'm in the market for sugar daddy. I wonder,
I wonder are there sugar mamas out there?

Speaker 1 (01:32:42):
Are there women that are like this sure website?

Speaker 2 (01:32:47):
Oh you're interested?

Speaker 14 (01:32:48):
V there's twenty.

Speaker 1 (01:32:50):
Do you know who I always do you know who?

Speaker 7 (01:32:51):
I always said, arrangement? You know who would get a
sugar mama? My son Luke, My college age son Luke.
You go to college bars and every mom is like
flirting with Luke at the college bars. And I always
jokingly say to Chelsea, go, what are you going to do?
One day if Luke comes home and he's like, I'd
like to introduce you.

Speaker 1 (01:33:10):
This is uh, you know. Yeah. Paula from Birmingham, her
husbands the former GM.

Speaker 9 (01:33:21):
Fraternity.

Speaker 1 (01:33:25):
You know what I mean, Like that's that's kind of
the thing. And just tell me about a site called
seeking dot com.

Speaker 2 (01:33:31):
Oh, I said, seeking arrangements.

Speaker 1 (01:33:33):
Seeking arrangement? What is seeking arrangement?

Speaker 11 (01:33:34):
That's where girls go to get sugar daddies. I'm pretty
sure they do it for guys too.

Speaker 1 (01:33:39):
Do you know anybody who's used this site?

Speaker 2 (01:33:41):
I know people who have tried.

Speaker 1 (01:33:43):
Have you ever tried?

Speaker 2 (01:33:44):
No?

Speaker 11 (01:33:45):
Honestly, it's very difficult to find one that's actually for real.

Speaker 1 (01:33:48):
For real. A lot of catfish and uh, did your
friend meet anybody? Was there anybody there that was worth god?

Speaker 9 (01:33:55):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:33:56):
Did you guys dance with any guys or anything like that?

Speaker 9 (01:33:58):
Or no? I did? No, most of us didn't.

Speaker 10 (01:34:01):
Like I you know, I have friends that will, but
I didn't.

Speaker 7 (01:34:04):
I think it's fun going I love going to Florida
and going to these like beach type bars.

Speaker 9 (01:34:10):
It's so fun.

Speaker 7 (01:34:10):
And you're wearing you know, you're wearing like a pair
of shorts and a T shirt and they're wearing Tommy Bahama.
I have you ever worn Tommy behin?

Speaker 10 (01:34:21):
Because this guy was wearing the other one. It wasn't
Tommy O Mohama. His shirt said something I couldn't remember.

Speaker 1 (01:34:25):
What it like, like it was we got to go
to Florida. Yeah, oh Johnny Oh? Was it Johnny O
or something like? They all have.

Speaker 7 (01:34:33):
They all have some kind of they're named after some
dude that like comfortable clothes. That's usually with Peter Malar.
You know, all right, it's Mojo in the Morning show.

Speaker 5 (01:34:43):
It's the second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (01:34:45):
All right, Second date up date? Why are you not
getting a call back after you went on a date?
Kira is not getting a call back? Where did you
guys meet Kira?

Speaker 9 (01:34:54):
We were at my friend's wedding like a couple of
weeks ago.

Speaker 7 (01:34:57):
And you guys went out on a date after the wedding, right,
So this wasn't the wedding as a date that you
guys went to.

Speaker 9 (01:35:03):
No, that was just like our first meeting.

Speaker 1 (01:35:05):
Okay, And would you guys do.

Speaker 9 (01:35:08):
So we went to like this hookah lounge.

Speaker 1 (01:35:10):
Oh do you like houkah? Do you like doing that?

Speaker 30 (01:35:15):
I do?

Speaker 9 (01:35:15):
I think it's fun. I mean it's not something I
typically do, but I was like, okay, I'll do it.

Speaker 7 (01:35:19):
I've had a bunch of guy friends that were like, Hey,
you want to do hookah with me? I've never done
it before. I have to try it, Kira, So what
happened on this date that would make you think that
why is he not calling me back or nothing?

Speaker 25 (01:35:31):
I mean that's what I Yeah, that's what I generally
don't get because we were like the conversation.

Speaker 9 (01:35:37):
Was like flowing. There was no like dead air.

Speaker 25 (01:35:40):
I mean we were both laughing, you know, like he
would touch my leg like it was I mean, it
was good.

Speaker 7 (01:35:46):
All Right, We're gonna find out what's going on. Steven's
on the phone with us right now, Kia, say hi
to Steven. Hey Stephen, Hello Steven, what's happening. What's going on, buddy?
You're doing all right?

Speaker 3 (01:36:01):
Yeah? I'm all right. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:36:04):
Curra seems like a great person. Actually, we saw her profile.
Lydia gives us your guys' profile, so we get a
chance to see you.

Speaker 1 (01:36:11):
You guys look like a cute couple. Is there something
wrong or.

Speaker 7 (01:36:17):
Is there a chance that there could be another date
between the two of you guys?

Speaker 3 (01:36:22):
Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah, I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (01:36:25):
Why is that?

Speaker 3 (01:36:30):
I don't know, it's it's uh, I just don't think
she's ready.

Speaker 1 (01:36:33):
Why do you say that she's not ready?

Speaker 3 (01:36:38):
Well, I mean mostly, I mean she's she's not even divorced.
She just filed for divorce. She's still married.

Speaker 1 (01:36:45):
How long agould you file for divorce?

Speaker 3 (01:36:46):
Kira?

Speaker 9 (01:36:48):
Like two months ago? But here's the thing.

Speaker 25 (01:36:50):
I feel like, when you file though it's been over
for a long time, Like it's not like it's been
over for a while, Like, yes, you know, I just file, but.

Speaker 9 (01:37:01):
You know it it's been gone for a while.

Speaker 7 (01:37:03):
What makes you Besides the fact that she's two months
since filing for divorce and is not officially divorced, was
there anything else that indicated that she's not over her
past relationship?

Speaker 3 (01:37:17):
Oh? Absolutely, I mean pretty much the whole entire night
all was talk crap about the guy.

Speaker 6 (01:37:22):
I don't know how.

Speaker 25 (01:37:26):
I don't feel like, I mean, that's like all I've
known for forever, and I kind of was like saying
it to be like, Okay, I don't want you to
do this.

Speaker 1 (01:37:35):
How long were you married A warning?

Speaker 9 (01:37:38):
Eight years?

Speaker 1 (01:37:39):
Wow?

Speaker 7 (01:37:40):
Okay, So I don't not necessarily know even you know,
everybody knows that somebody's acts could be a jerk or not.
But I don't I think when you go into it
and you're like, this person did this and this and this.
Nobody wants to hear about another person's relationship.

Speaker 9 (01:37:55):
That's the stuff you talk to your girlfriends.

Speaker 16 (01:37:57):
And it's her first date. I'm there trying to get
to know you. You know, soon you get to know
me and not know everything else. And he may be
a total you know, jerk, not you Stephen, but your ax.
But you don't know, and you're going, oh my god,
she's a man hater, you know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (01:38:13):
Absolutely, did it come.

Speaker 1 (01:38:14):
Across as that seam?

Speaker 25 (01:38:16):
Okay, yeah, it's somewhat.

Speaker 3 (01:38:19):
I mean, you know, she just bashed the poor guy.
I mean, I don't know the guy. I don't know
what he did. I don't know what he's doing. But
I mean she just bashed the guy our whole entire date.
So it seems like there's still something there a little bit,
all right.

Speaker 1 (01:38:31):
I want to ask this question, and maybe there's a
way to bring this back and redeem this relationship that
you guys have. I want to know if other people
have had this where you've been out on a date
and the date started talking crap about their acts and
it kind of turned you off.

Speaker 7 (01:38:50):
If that happened. I want to know what your thoughts
are on these guys, Kira and Steven if this one
sounds that bad eight four to four Mojo Live eight
four four sixty sixty five six right, or you can
text nine five to five zero zero.

Speaker 3 (01:39:03):
Channon.

Speaker 7 (01:39:03):
When you and Wes first got together and started dating,
did you guys even bring up your exes or did
did that come up at all?

Speaker 10 (01:39:11):
I mean eventually, but that definitely wasn't something that we
focused on like right off the bat, you know, like
obviously we wanted to share our stories about like why
we're why we got divorced and stuff like that, but
there it wasn't like that's not discussion, right, thank you?

Speaker 7 (01:39:28):
Yeah, Because if somebody is talking NonStop about their acts,
I'm either thinking one of two things, either they hate
that person or they still love that person.

Speaker 9 (01:39:37):
But I had questions for him and he had questions
for me.

Speaker 10 (01:39:40):
So those discussions happened, But it wasn't him just like
bashing his ex wife, you know on our such you're
not over to that.

Speaker 1 (01:39:46):
Person if they still on the tip ofo tongue like
not even that.

Speaker 10 (01:39:49):
But to me, it's that shows somebody's character too. Of
how they speak, even if you were so wronged, but
how you speak about somebody, like as you step away
from that situation and then move forward.

Speaker 9 (01:40:01):
I don't know.

Speaker 7 (01:40:01):
I don't know how you don't still talk about somebody
if you've only been filed for two months.

Speaker 1 (01:40:08):
That's so fresh. What's up, Chelsea?

Speaker 21 (01:40:10):
Hi?

Speaker 30 (01:40:11):
Hi?

Speaker 19 (01:40:12):
How are you guys?

Speaker 1 (01:40:13):
We're good? Say hello to Kira and Steven.

Speaker 19 (01:40:17):
Hi, Kiara and Steven. So I will say, I don't
know if it's the same for every situation, but I
got divorced a few years ago, and they told us
the state of Michigan has like a weight period of
six months from when you file divorce.

Speaker 14 (01:40:34):
To when they'll finalize it.

Speaker 19 (01:40:35):
So like I filed in October and they didn't finalize
it until May of next year.

Speaker 1 (01:40:41):
So it's going to be a process still for her, right.

Speaker 19 (01:40:44):
They do it so in case you change your mind,
but like, if you're already filing, why are you going
to change your mind at that point?

Speaker 25 (01:40:50):
Yeah, I went over a long time ago, which, as
I was kind of saying, I.

Speaker 1 (01:40:53):
Wonder how many people, yeah exactly, are already engaged before
they even get divorced, Like that would be an interesting
one to see how many people still haven't gotten the
final stamp of things from the court, but then they're
engaged already and getting ready to go get married again
because they're you know, processes so long. What's up, Amanda, Hi?

Speaker 6 (01:41:14):
Hi?

Speaker 23 (01:41:15):
How are you guys?

Speaker 1 (01:41:15):
We're good? What's going on?

Speaker 30 (01:41:18):
I truly believe that she she's probably over him, and
she's probably been way over him. But just my personal opinion,
because if she talks about him like that, I think
she might, you know, and respectfully, I mean, this might
need therapy just to help move on. So she's not
at the point where she's bashing him and talking about him.
She probably went through her own stuff with no judgment,
but I think she just might need that to kind

(01:41:40):
of help before you know, she's she's truly ready maybe
to date.

Speaker 7 (01:41:43):
That's a personal thing, but I mean that is definitely
good to go to therapy.

Speaker 2 (01:41:48):
Kira, what's therapy?

Speaker 1 (01:41:51):
You are okay?

Speaker 9 (01:41:52):
And Steven agrees with it, just like started so fair.

Speaker 1 (01:41:55):
What's up Lisa?

Speaker 6 (01:41:58):
Hey?

Speaker 46 (01:41:58):
Yeah, So like this actually happened to me. I was
the Bachelor, and I didn't my first my conversation on
my first you know, in the show talking to someone
I was the bachelor, and it wasn't until the guy
told me, like, it's for making it the Lisa Show,
and so I needed to hear that. And I was
not ready to date yet. I was not over the

(01:42:20):
hurt I was.

Speaker 2 (01:42:21):
I don't.

Speaker 46 (01:42:22):
I don't even think at the time I was over him.

Speaker 23 (01:42:24):
I don't.

Speaker 15 (01:42:24):
It wasn't wanting him.

Speaker 46 (01:42:26):
It was the morning the life that I thought supposed
to have.

Speaker 14 (01:42:30):
I think.

Speaker 1 (01:42:31):
And how soon after how soon were you on a date? Lisa?

Speaker 3 (01:42:36):
Oh?

Speaker 18 (01:42:37):
Man, it took a minute, but it wasn't because it's
a long If she's I don't think that she's either
she's not ready to date or she's not.

Speaker 3 (01:42:48):
Over the hurt.

Speaker 46 (01:42:49):
And until someone brings it to your attention, it may
not be good guy. But the next time she goes
in the day, she's now going to be conscious of
what happened on this day and she won't.

Speaker 14 (01:42:58):
Do it moving forward.

Speaker 46 (01:42:59):
But this was a blessing and this guy, unfortunately, you know,
and maybe he can understand, like she was severely you know,
hurt and start and she now now she knows not
to discuss it with the next person. So this was
helpful for nothing else but that because now I'm in
a very.

Speaker 13 (01:43:16):
Healthy relationship and I'm very happy, but I needed to
hear that.

Speaker 1 (01:43:20):
You know what I'm saying, I appreciate it.

Speaker 7 (01:43:23):
You know that is good and yeah, you almost kind
of need this in order to be able to get
to that next level voice this guys, Uh, we'll call
you initial C.

Speaker 1 (01:43:32):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (01:43:33):
See Joe, Hi, you're being voices guised? Why are you
being voices guised?

Speaker 32 (01:43:40):
Ah?

Speaker 28 (01:43:41):
Just as one saying, man, you.

Speaker 34 (01:43:42):
Know, okay, Well, I'm a guy, but I had a
similar situation.

Speaker 14 (01:43:48):
I'll make for sure.

Speaker 34 (01:43:49):
I went on a date with this girl. Her husband
had passed away five years prior, and thanks doing That's
all the common station ended up about. But this is
kind of different because this is like, I'll never fill
this guy's shoes type thing not and this girl saying, well,
this is the warning of what I don't want you

(01:44:12):
to do.

Speaker 7 (01:44:12):
Interesting, So she talked about her dead husband the entire time, Yeah.

Speaker 34 (01:44:17):
The entire time, and then she got mad at me
because it's like, I want to talk about us.

Speaker 16 (01:44:22):
I'm sympathetic, but yeah, come on five years later on
a question for you, initial C, did you guys have
sex at.

Speaker 1 (01:44:31):
The end of that thing?

Speaker 21 (01:44:33):
No.

Speaker 34 (01:44:33):
She took me home and I made her paper off
the date. Wow, Hey, we're out here, Kevin. I ain't
being no one playing meal.

Speaker 1 (01:44:46):
Oh man, if you want to.

Speaker 34 (01:44:48):
Be treated like a woman by a gentleman, I will
do that.

Speaker 7 (01:44:52):
But that wasn't that was the case that you heard
too much stories about the dead husband. Honestly, at that point,
I'd feel sorry for her.

Speaker 1 (01:44:58):
I'd have to pay for the day and make sure
that she was feeling Okay. What's up, Amy, Good morning?
Good morning? What's up?

Speaker 23 (01:45:07):
So I'm in the same situation as Kira. My marriage
has been over for a few years. He filed back
in July, but I asked to file civilly, so like
it's been mutual. But I get it, how like coming
across where you know, like he thinks they're still feelings there,

(01:45:28):
but like if it was worth fixing, it would have
been fixed or it would have been like the little
things would have been worked out before. Dates been over
for years.

Speaker 1 (01:45:39):
Have you been on any dates since the filing?

Speaker 20 (01:45:41):
Yeah, yeah I have.

Speaker 23 (01:45:43):
And like the other thing is like I knew I
had to work on myself too, because there was a
lot of like belittling and stuff that was getting done
and and so like finding yourself before really trying to
find that person is really what you really need to
be doing. Like I'm still trying to date, but at
the same point in time, like the dating.

Speaker 15 (01:46:03):
Pool does suck?

Speaker 23 (01:46:04):
Yeah, eis are just out of there to get laid.

Speaker 1 (01:46:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (01:46:09):
Man ah well, I'm sorry to hear that. Although can
I ask you a question? Did have you had sex?
Since you're filing? I have and question? How weird was
it to have sex with a guy that wasn't your
ex husband?

Speaker 23 (01:46:26):
Since that's been done for like four or five years
and it was a chore to get that? I mean,
it wasn't not like it was.

Speaker 1 (01:46:34):
Was it good?

Speaker 21 (01:46:34):
Though?

Speaker 1 (01:46:34):
Was it nice being with somebody else though?

Speaker 20 (01:46:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 23 (01:46:39):
Yeah, I mean I still talk to that person, we
still see each other off and.

Speaker 1 (01:46:42):
On, but like it it's your body. Yeah that's good.
Well good yea.

Speaker 7 (01:46:46):
The easiest way to get over someone is to get
under someone, isn't that right?

Speaker 3 (01:46:52):
Yes?

Speaker 17 (01:46:53):
But no?

Speaker 1 (01:46:53):
Okay, all right, well you'd be good Amy.

Speaker 23 (01:46:57):
I will nice talking to you guys again. Last year,
I want to get to jingle ball.

Speaker 1 (01:47:01):
Oh well, we're giving away more coming up here, so

Speaker 16 (01:47:27):

the best way to get over somebody's under his mind?

Speaker 1 (01:47:30):
What if you get over on them too?

Speaker 3 (01:47:32):
You know what?

Speaker 1 (01:47:34):
Then you then then I call you my wife. I

Speaker 7 (01:47:40):

Speaker 6 (01:47:47):
The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 1 (01:47:49):
What you got Shannon in this Hour's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 10 (01:47:51):
The NBA betting scandal that we have been talking about
for the past couple of weeks continues. Olivia Rubin from
ABYE News recording on this story tonight.

Speaker 47 (01:48:03):
The NBA expanding their sports betting investigation, requesting multiple teams,
including the Los Angeles Lakers, to reportedly handover cell phone records,
weeks after sweeping federal indictments involving a player and two
current and former NBA coaches, a spokesperson for the league saying, quote,
a number of different individuals and organizations were asked to

(01:48:25):
preserve documents and records, sources telling ESPN the Lakers assistant
trainer and executive administrator are some of the employees contacted
and are now cooperating with the investigation.

Speaker 2 (01:48:38):
According to prosecutors.

Speaker 41 (01:48:39):
Former player and coach Damon Jones passed along injury information
about Lebron James to betters, allegedly texting get a big
bet on Milwaukee tonight before the information is out. Jones
pleading not guilty to wirefraud and money laundering last week
in Brooklyn's.

Speaker 5 (01:48:57):
John's any comment that's.

Speaker 16 (01:48:59):
Not you know, minx, this is the Instrider trading saga
for the NBA.

Speaker 1 (01:49:03):
You know it's wild is that the money wasn't crazy.

Speaker 7 (01:49:06):
Like they would give out information and then it would
be like a two hundred thousand dollars win or total wins,
and you're like, that doesn't seem like a lot of
money for this whole thing, but two hundred thousand you
would think it'd be millions of dollars. But the problem
these guys are all making good money except for I
guess the assistant coach, you know, Damon Jones, probably not
making that much money. But I find it very interesting

(01:49:29):
that this doesn't happen more often. They said college football
is getting hit with us now too, where a lot
of these college kids you know, are now being able
to sway games and outcomes of games.

Speaker 16 (01:49:40):
I want to get back to the mob. Can we
please continue to speak about them?

Speaker 9 (01:49:45):
I'm so fascinated.

Speaker 16 (01:49:46):
Nay, I'm talking about whatever these families are. Like, we
keep trying to keep trying to make it all about
these NBA players, like can we get back There's some
people who've been running these underground games for years and
years and years, hurting people like can we get on that?

Speaker 7 (01:49:59):
They say the the FBI is going is going to
go after Adam Silver, who's the commissioner of the NBA,
and they say that his phones are going to be
asked for records because they wonder how much Adam Silver's
talked to teams about the gambling thing and talking to
or not talking to some of the investigators. So it's
not so much is he involved in it, but it's
him telling people don't talk to the FBI or don't

(01:50:21):
talk to the FADS on.

Speaker 1 (01:50:23):
This it's crazy.

Speaker 9 (01:50:24):
Justin Bieber said.

Speaker 10 (01:50:25):
He hurt his ribs, might have broken some ribs during
a nasty skateboarding accident earlier this month. He fell off
his electric skateboard, landed on his hip and his side.
You know, he's doing this live stream every day so
you find out like all the things that are happening
in his life. But he said it hurt to talk
left and sing following that fall. However, he's still making
it through his Coachella rehearsals. Remember he's headlining in April

(01:50:48):
already in rehearsals for that which I heard.

Speaker 1 (01:50:51):
Nothing but horrible things about those electric scooters and things
like people.

Speaker 9 (01:50:56):
This is a skateboard.

Speaker 7 (01:50:57):
But yeah, people say that the electric bikes are some
of the biggest injuries that people face.

Speaker 9 (01:51:02):
Now I want an electric bikes, do you really? I
wrote them for the first time this summer and it
was really fun.

Speaker 1 (01:51:07):
Isn't the point of a bike?

Speaker 6 (01:51:08):
Though?

Speaker 1 (01:51:08):
I get exercise?

Speaker 10 (01:51:09):
Yeah, you can still peddle it like assists you peddling.
You don't just like put your feet off and let
it go.

Speaker 1 (01:51:14):
Oh really okay?

Speaker 9 (01:51:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (01:51:16):
Yeah, remember the story I told you last week with
the video that started blowing up on TikTok when somebody
filmed a fan reviewing this this guy, Scott Kelly's resume
at the Jonas brother Show.

Speaker 9 (01:51:28):
Regular dude, This Scott Kelly.

Speaker 10 (01:51:30):
Nobody knew who he was until he went viral lake overnight,
and then several celebrities the Jonas Brothers included, and a
lot of big companies like Lennez, Skincare, Pepsis, and fast
food places on their TikTok and x accounts. We're commenting
on the video trying to help this Scott Kelly get
a job well. Friday Night, Jimmy Fallon surprised Kevin Nick

(01:51:52):
and Joe Jonas with the real Scott Kelly on his side.

Speaker 1 (01:51:56):
We have not met each other. No, they have not
met each other. This is real thing. We wanted to
surprise gun. I can I show you a real thing?

Speaker 3 (01:52:05):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (01:52:05):
Please? I had never heard of you before this. Correct,
My wife had a television What are you talking about.
I didn't have Disney Channel growing up. I didn't know
ral I come all the way back to Disney Plus.

Speaker 48 (01:52:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (01:52:28):
But like he even had no idea what the heck
was going on.

Speaker 1 (01:52:33):
It's been an interesting week.

Speaker 49 (01:52:34):
Okay, so Monday, I'm sitting in class for an NBA
program I'm going through and my buddy hits me up
and says, hey, dude, you're going famous on TikTok. I'm like,
I don't even have a TikTok. So he sends me
this blurry screenshot. It's like, this is your resume, and like, no,
it's not my resume. Over the next twenty four hours,
everything I have starts blowing up with messages. Actually download
TikTok to look at the original video and go.

Speaker 1 (01:52:56):
Yeah, that's me. You know, it's funny. I never saw
It's cool. The guy's a veteran, so that's pretty cool.
He's a.

Speaker 7 (01:53:04):
And the other cool thing is he's got a great job,
so he's not even looking for a job. And this
was all just some guy scrolling on his phone at
a concert and.

Speaker 1 (01:53:11):
People overhead taking the picture of him.

Speaker 7 (01:53:14):
But it's pretty cool though that that shows you what
the internet does in a good way, because then it
was a fun story.

Speaker 10 (01:53:20):
It was a fun story, and real quick, if your kids,
or maybe it was you, went crazy for the Boo
Boos a couple of months ago, those viral fuzzy dolls
that you could get at PopMart they are getting their
own movie.

Speaker 9 (01:53:34):
I have very limited details.

Speaker 10 (01:53:36):
I just know the project is in the very early stages.
After Sony Studios acquired the rights.

Speaker 1 (01:53:43):
To the Boo Boos, weve Boo Boo.

Speaker 9 (01:53:45):
I feel like that craze has passed.

Speaker 1 (01:53:47):
Boo Baby.

Speaker 9 (01:53:48):
Yeah myself for falling for that.

Speaker 7 (01:53:51):
Kids make you go out stand in line to get
all that crap, and now the kids don't even want
to play with it.

Speaker 1 (01:53:55):
That's how every toy goes, every single one crazy.

Speaker 9 (01:53:57):
Do you miss anything from today's show?

Speaker 10 (01:53:59):
Listen to the podcast starts to Move You in the
morning in the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 5 (01:54:06):

Speaker 6 (01:54:08):

Speaker 1 (01:54:37):

This is mojo in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:55:28):
It's going to actually warm up today into the mid forties,
but it is cold this morning. Huh what a difference
A weekend mix and uh we got snow tomorrow, so
we got snow and rain mix. Tomorrow morning is going
to be kind of a nasty commute for many, would
you say earlier? Snainna is coming. I learned this sleep, Yeah,

(01:55:50):
snow mixed with rain. Snaine. I learned that when I
was I went to medi meteorology.

Speaker 5 (01:55:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:55:58):
Actually I went to meteorology school. I did. I took
a miniorology class in chicagoge it's.

Speaker 9 (01:56:04):
Different than going to a metiorology.

Speaker 7 (01:56:06):
Tom Skilling, the legend from WGN, the superstation U taught
that class. I thought it was a cake walk class
until I realized it was a science class. And I
was not ready for Tom Skilling. He knew more about whether.
I told Chuck aytaka this. Do you guys remember who
Chuck A. Chuck is legend, Chuck four Channel four, Local four,

(01:56:27):
go for it? Remember him? Carmen Harlan legend. And Devin Skillion.

Speaker 1 (01:56:34):
Is Devin uh devn And Tom Skilling, No, it's funny.
You know what's funny. I never knew. I never put
that two together.

Speaker 7 (01:56:43):
But I told Chuck when Chuck used to be on
our show, back when it was Q ninety five to five,
I said to Chuck, Chuck, I took a meteorology class
from Tom Skilling. He'd loved Tom Skilling, he was, you know,
because Chuck grew up also in Chicago like I did.

Speaker 1 (01:56:56):
And Tom told it was the worst class ever. It was.
It was hard. It was just so hard to learn,
you know, atmospheric pressure and all the rest of that stuff.

Speaker 16 (01:57:07):
So high spell Skilling and I'm trying to google this
man Skilling s K I L L I n G.

Speaker 7 (01:57:12):
The legend Tom Skilling. Oh, he retired just like a
year or so ago. He was one of the longest.
That's him, Tom Scaling. He's a nerd.

Speaker 1 (01:57:21):
Yeah, I was a nerdy guy. But he's a great guy.
He's honestly, can I be honest with you? He's funny
as funny as hell in real life, has a funny personality.
He was he wasn't an expression. He wasn't like that
in real life when I had him as a teacher though. Three,
Oh God, what did I want to talk about here
right now? Oh?

Speaker 7 (01:57:40):
You know, first, I want to think everybody that came
out this weekend to the Brass.

Speaker 1 (01:57:44):
Mug they still have bottles of this.

Speaker 7 (01:57:46):
I think they've got like a couple of cases left
because they ended up the full forester. People ended up
giving them everything in the barrel, so like the full
barrel of this stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:57:54):
And so every bottle of the.

Speaker 7 (01:57:58):
Special edition Mojo and the Hall of Fame stuff is
going to go to breaking entering Christmas wish.

Speaker 1 (01:58:04):
So we're selling it for one hundred dollars a bottle.
I signed a bunch of bottles and left him there.
So if you want to sign bottle, if you don't
want to sign a bottle, they have not signed. But
thank you to the people that came out there and
help us raise. We're going to raise ten grand with us,
so that's gonna be ten thousand dollars for breaking it er.

Speaker 7 (01:58:20):
It's really awesome. But everybody came out. We had such
a good time being able to just kind of hang.
Louie is one of those guys. He's like an Italian mom.
You go in there and he will not let.

Speaker 1 (01:58:30):
You come into his house which is his party store,
and not eat. So he goes next door.

Speaker 7 (01:58:35):
There is a Middle Eastern restaurant next door that I'm
not kidding you, I say this to you has the
best hummus.

Speaker 6 (01:58:41):
Now.

Speaker 7 (01:58:41):
I used to think Phoenicia had the best hummus and Sammy,
don't be mad at me. I think this place next
to sam or to the brass mug over in seven
in Newberg and Lavonia has the best hummus.

Speaker 9 (01:58:54):
Oh, I gotta go.

Speaker 1 (01:58:55):
It is so damn. I mean, I'm a kid in
you now.

Speaker 9 (01:58:57):
When you do hummus you dip pita. Do you dip veggies?

Speaker 3 (01:59:00):
You do?

Speaker 7 (01:59:01):
I have I have the gluten analogy, which Kevin thinks
I brag about all the time or just plain about it.
I've never heard you not say it, So I do.
I do veggies. And honestly, I was eating this stuff
with a spoon.

Speaker 1 (01:59:13):
It was that good. It was so good. Always do
Peter Brand I don't really like the veg.

Speaker 9 (01:59:19):
Just didn't mean.

Speaker 1 (01:59:24):
West. I can get you a tray of that for tonight.

Speaker 7 (01:59:27):
But but but Louis like will make you come in
there and he makes you eat, and then he makes
you like you have to hang out with him. Come on, brother,
hang out with me. And then next thing you know,
you're going home with Like I was going home with
wine for Chelsea.

Speaker 9 (01:59:41):
I had a little sweag bag tequila.

Speaker 7 (01:59:44):
It was like those guys were amazing. And then the
listeners that showed out there. I'm going to go on
record to say this, I think that people like there
are areas around town where you meet the nicest people.
Lavonia the nicest people in the world, Northville the nice
First off, these guys in Northville, they got bucks Man.

(02:00:05):
They're buying like tons of stuff like seriously. People are
just like, hey, I just want to donate the money,
and they were going and they don't sit there and
brag about it. They don't want anything, you know, in return,
like that. Nobody's asking me for free plugs on the
radio and stuff. But they were so nice and in
giving and wanting to give back to our charity breaking
and entering Christmas wish.

Speaker 1 (02:00:24):
It was. It was awesome. It was a really good time.

Speaker 11 (02:00:26):
So before Mojo left, I was like, Oh, are you excited?
Do you think people are going to show up? He's like, yeah,
probably not. And then I read in his topics He's like,
there was a line of sixty five and meet me.

Speaker 7 (02:00:36):
I am always in all the years that I've been
doing this, I am shocked at what people will come
out for. Like I am shocked. I remember we used
to do phone scams on the show, and we did
phone scam CDs. We would put them on CD and
we would show up members of CDs. We would go
to Best Best Buys to go do these phone SCAMCD

(02:00:57):
signings and we.

Speaker 1 (02:00:58):
Would have five hundred people show up and come out.

Speaker 10 (02:01:03):
And those were and I was at the tail end
of that. It was insanity it was seriously.

Speaker 7 (02:01:10):
People would collect them all and they would come out
to it. This bottle of bourbon.

Speaker 1 (02:01:14):
I had little like I'm not going to say little
old ladies because they were probably not old. They were
probably like forty ever mid me. But these little.

Speaker 7 (02:01:21):
Ladies like they were there that came up to me
like a little like Shannons walking.

Speaker 9 (02:01:25):
Out little old ladies.

Speaker 1 (02:01:29):
No, they mind you.

Speaker 9 (02:01:30):
I'm not forty five yet, but still I'm close.

Speaker 7 (02:01:32):
They did not know what bourbon was. They don't even
they don't drink bourbon. I said to my go, what
are you drinking? They're like all about wine and stuff.
They were buying bottles of this stuff because they knew
it was breaking and entering Christmas wish and they were
reciting breaking and entering Christmas wishes that we've done for
families and saying, hey, this is going to help out.
You know, I'll buy it and then I'll give it up,

(02:01:52):
give it away as a gift to somebody, because I
think bourbon's pretty big.

Speaker 1 (02:01:56):
You know who I met their ninety day data?

Speaker 6 (02:02:00):
Did he come?

Speaker 1 (02:02:00):
He came out? Yeah, Chelsea didn't like him. It's funny.
They just had go ahead.

Speaker 9 (02:02:06):
What Chelse was with you at this thing.

Speaker 7 (02:02:08):
No, Chelsea, Chelsea didn't show up at this but so
I was by myself. I told her, I said, he's
really a nice guy. She thinks that he sold out
Gino on the reunion And I said to Chelsea Chelsea,
I'm not gonna lie to you. He had a lot
of stuff to talk about that was legit things. Chelsea
and misfit Victor talk all the time and they're both
ninety day fans, and Chelsea and Victor literally are like this,

(02:02:31):
you know, they they could be better married to each
other than Chelsea or then Tina and I could be
married to them. And they both were going off on
how they think Dana, you know, screwed over his cousin
and stuff, and Dana shows up and he's like the
nicest guy I was.

Speaker 1 (02:02:47):
It was blown away.

Speaker 9 (02:02:48):
How nice?

Speaker 1 (02:02:49):
Yeah, it was cool. It was really nice to me.

Speaker 16 (02:02:52):
Super random, and it's probably illegal, so let's not let
that get in a.

Speaker 1 (02:02:55):
Way of this. Would it be dope?

Speaker 16 (02:02:57):
Because wol was my guy who's twenty years old, twenty
when Wednesday came and you met him at the event, Yeah,
was his name?

Speaker 48 (02:03:02):
Ti?

Speaker 1 (02:03:03):
Ti?

Speaker 16 (02:03:04):
Would it be dope? If you could like pre order
alcohol and then like get.

Speaker 1 (02:03:08):
It when you turn twenty one to be fire like.

Speaker 7 (02:03:12):
Well, this was also a limited edition too, so it
was like nice that doe.

Speaker 3 (02:03:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:03:19):
You know what's funny is I said to Louis. Louis,
his kid's twenty years old, if he didn't come with
his mom, what would you do? And Loui's like, I
gotta go by the rules, Mojo, you know, he's like,
he's like, brother, I.

Speaker 1 (02:03:29):
You know, I can't lose my license.

Speaker 7 (02:03:31):
I think I was gonna do for him one of
those things that I often did when I was a kid,
stand out in front of a party store and ask
somebody to buy for me. I would have bought for
the kid. I would have totally bought for him. You know,
so you had a bottle and stuff. But do you
ever do that at all?

Speaker 1 (02:03:46):
You're nah, Nah, I never did that.

Speaker 16 (02:03:49):
I've been asked before, and I've been amongst a group
of youth where I wasn't the one that went in acts,
but I definitely enjoyed the benefits.

Speaker 1 (02:03:58):
Well, I gotta tell you something. I have been the
guy going, hey, I'm not twenty one or I don't
have my license. Can you go in there and buy
and I numerous times when I was growing up, I
would have people for an extra twenty bucks, you know
what I mean? And hede goodbye for me. What's up Leah?

Speaker 8 (02:04:13):
Hi?

Speaker 39 (02:04:14):
Hey?

Speaker 23 (02:04:15):
No, I was calling because I'm one of the people
that have one of those punk skim CDs.

Speaker 1 (02:04:20):
Which addition do you have? Which volume number?

Speaker 20 (02:04:23):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (02:04:23):
Wat?

Speaker 15 (02:04:24):
I gotta find it packed away in a box, but yeah,
I know I still have one.

Speaker 2 (02:04:28):
They're so great i'd be worth something. Now.

Speaker 7 (02:04:31):
I have the whole collection at home, and it's It's
honestly one of those things where one of these days
I'm going to like pull that thing out, bring it
into the studio and just sign it and give it
away to everybody.

Speaker 1 (02:04:42):
I say playing, I'm like, no, you don't play it. No,
I know.

Speaker 7 (02:04:46):
We don't have a seat, we don't have a CD
player anymore. There's no CD players around here anymore. You
know what's big now it's coming back is VHS taps.

Speaker 2 (02:04:55):
Love it.

Speaker 1 (02:04:55):
People are bringing VHS.

Speaker 9 (02:04:57):
Taps, but please ask me for a record player.

Speaker 10 (02:05:00):
Well Christmas, I was like, what in the heck are
you going to do with a record?

Speaker 38 (02:05:03):
There?

Speaker 1 (02:05:04):
They sell them in what's the story? Everyone?

Speaker 10 (02:05:07):
Well, Urban outfitters. I think might sell them. But I'm like,
you're eight, You're not gonna listen to records.

Speaker 1 (02:05:12):
It's a big deal. Like these kids love the they
love old vinyl and stuff. Well, look at Jack White,
we talk about his store. That's true you and then
there's uh, there's another record store downtown too that's really popular.
That's somebody who was Is that what it is?

Speaker 37 (02:05:25):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (02:05:25):
Yeah, it's a vibe real quick.

Speaker 7 (02:05:27):
Let's get you into Saint Saint Patrick's day.

Speaker 1 (02:05:34):
Saint Patrick, Why did that come out of me? I know,
Jesus wrong.

Speaker 9 (02:05:38):

that old forester or Hall of Fame bourbon. Uh Sierra,
You're coming on St. Patrick's Day at Patrick.

Speaker 1 (02:07:09):
Doing? Am I drunk?

Speaker 17 (02:07:11):

Speaker 1 (02:07:11):
Whatever?

Speaker 7 (02:07:12):
It is Thanksgiving for some reason, I've called it every holiday.

Speaker 1 (02:07:16):
But Thanksgiving Turkey Day? Are we ready for that day?

Speaker 7 (02:07:20):

We're great, Colleen.

Speaker 30 (02:08:13):

Speaker 7 (02:08:14):
Oh my god, we can't wait to meet you. Who
do you think you'll be bringing with you?

Speaker 9 (02:08:19):
Probably my daughter's.

Speaker 1 (02:08:20):
Sweet and how old your daughter?

Speaker 6 (02:08:23):
She is?

Speaker 9 (02:08:23):
Thirty three?

Speaker 7 (02:08:24):
Oh my gosh, Colleen, you sound you don't sound like
you have a thirty three year old only come.

Speaker 15 (02:08:28):
Ye, I have seven grain children.

Speaker 7 (02:08:30):
Oh my gosh. Well, we're going to help you with
your Thanksgiving meal. We got a turkey and we've got
a gift card to Kroger so you can get all

Speaker 14 (02:08:40):
Okay, thank you so much.

Speaker 1 (02:08:41):
All right, love you so much for listening, Colleen, Thank.

Speaker 15 (02:08:43):
You, Love you guys.

Speaker 1 (02:08:45):
I have a great day. It's mo Joe in the morning.

Speaker 7 (02:08:48):
So this weekend, Chelsea and I spent the entire day
just watching a show we binge watched from start to finish.
It's on, Oh God, what is it, Peacock Network, and
it's a show called All Her Fault and it's about
this kid that gets kidnapped. And it was a really
good It was really good acting like it had It

(02:09:14):
had the one of the sisters from Ssion Succession that
was in it, and then it had one of the
guys from What the Hell is the show where they
go on and they go on their vacation together.

Speaker 1 (02:09:24):
Load Everybody Together, White Lotus. Yeah, it was really good.

Speaker 7 (02:09:28):
So long story short, we put Peacock on and now
I didn't even know we had Peacock, but.

Speaker 1 (02:09:34):
I guess we have it. I think I think we
have it for probably that.

Speaker 7 (02:09:37):
So we have Peacock there and it's on the app
plan and I can't figure out a way to turn
off subtitles now. I want to talk about this right
now because I want to ask this question, what the
f are people doing nowadays, especially younger people watching shows
with subtitles. I am watching this show like it's.

Speaker 1 (02:09:59):
Some foreign film at the Sundance Film Festival, with the
words scrolling on the bottom, and then when music starts playing,
it goes music. I hate that, and it's going and
I'm watching this going. People do this.

Speaker 7 (02:10:13):
So we ended up watching two or three episodes with
the subtitles sign because I legit felt like my mom
and could not figure out how to turn off the
subtitles because the way that the Peacock app is is
not anything like my Apple app or Disney plot.

Speaker 9 (02:10:30):
You just go to your TV to do it. No,
your TV is on the appeah how to do it?

Speaker 7 (02:10:35):
And so Shannon, I'm watching this stupid thing and I'm
reading and I'm thinking to myself, the people that are
watching shows with subtitles are usually like twenty somethings that are.

Speaker 9 (02:10:44):
Doing this big thing. Yeah, they haven't.

Speaker 7 (02:10:46):
Read a book in like twenty eight goddamn years and
I don't even know how like, and they're reading the subtitles.

Speaker 9 (02:10:52):
Of this sense I think it's it's like a multitasking thing. Yes,
is what I think.

Speaker 10 (02:10:57):
That's the only I I don't know that you're you
can watch that you need to be doing more than
one thing at a time, so watch and read.

Speaker 2 (02:11:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 9 (02:11:07):
That's the only thing I can. I can think of
all of my friends.

Speaker 10 (02:11:10):
And I watched one of the Nate Marghetti specials over
the weekend that I hadn't seen.

Speaker 9 (02:11:15):
Yet, and it wasn't until it was almost done. I'm like,
something's weird. Something weird. Was so different. I'm like, Oh,
the subtitles have been on the whole time.

Speaker 1 (02:11:22):
Wait, you're getting his joke after his joke.

Speaker 9 (02:11:25):
Well as it's happening. Yeah, I hate it.

Speaker 16 (02:11:28):
The only time that I think I've ever like actually
utilized the subtitles are for Narcos. Do you remember when
Narcoles first popped out and it was all Spanish like
for something that I don't understand, then you have to
watch the subtitles. But if I can hear it in English, like,
it just seems like it's taking my eyes away from
the action because I have to read what's going on

(02:11:49):
and I'm not watching what's actually taking place.

Speaker 9 (02:11:52):
I think the younger generation. I feel old saying this,
but can't.

Speaker 10 (02:11:57):
Just focus on you know what it is, what's being
the images on the TV.

Speaker 1 (02:12:01):
It's her fault.

Speaker 11 (02:12:02):
I love subtitles because of TikTok.

Speaker 7 (02:12:06):
It's because everybody has to show a video with the
with the words on there.

Speaker 1 (02:12:10):
You are the problem fault.

Speaker 16 (02:12:12):
But I'm saying that I get though, Like if I'm
out of out and about and i'm I don't have
my ear pods, whatever the case may be, and something
comes across I'm watching the TikTok, I'm more likely to
continue to watch it if I'm able to read what's happening.
If I'm in my home and I'm watching TV, it
annoys you.

Speaker 1 (02:12:27):
What am I? What do I have to put the
subtitles on for?

Speaker 11 (02:12:29):
I want doing a lot of things at once, Like
I'm probably smoking a little so my head's already not
all the.

Speaker 1 (02:12:35):
Way that you have to read the subtitles though.

Speaker 2 (02:12:37):
And then I can glance up and oh, that's what
they just said. Okay, glance back down at my phone.

Speaker 1 (02:12:41):
You're not even watching.

Speaker 2 (02:12:42):
I'm watching watching.

Speaker 1 (02:12:45):
You know the problem is with the subtitles, is the subtitles.

Speaker 7 (02:12:49):
Get in the way of you kind of enjoying what
you thought you heard. Like I hate to say this,
like I all of a sudden go, oh, that's what
they like. I started like reading, and then I'm not
even watching the screen. I'm looking at the bottom of
the screen. I don't know what I'm saying, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 16 (02:13:04):
Now, I will put the subtitles on if for some reason,
because if they say something and I still don't get
it after rewinding, I'm like, no, I need to know
what they know they just say, and I'll put it on.

Speaker 7 (02:13:12):
It's only good if they're soft talking, you know what
I mean. Like sometimes they soft talk, they whispered through things,
or if it's like you said, Narcos where it's a
foreign or.

Speaker 10 (02:13:20):
Sometimes the accents are so strong, like I think. I
tried to watch Peaky Blinders maybe was the show, and
I couldn't understand what I finally had to stop watching
it because I.

Speaker 9 (02:13:29):
Couldn't understand it. But I had to put subtitles on
for it.

Speaker 1 (02:13:32):
What's going on, Colton? How you doing?

Speaker 3 (02:13:36):
How can you not use subtitles?

Speaker 35 (02:13:37):
I have been using subtitles since oh oh.

Speaker 6 (02:13:43):
For you?

Speaker 1 (02:13:44):
Hey, Colton, when's the last when's the last book? You read.

Speaker 3 (02:13:49):
Listen when you read a book. What do you do?
You make a picture in your head? You make a movie? Right?

Speaker 1 (02:13:55):
Yeah? Okay, I like that.

Speaker 3 (02:13:58):
Well, think about it. Like subtitles.

Speaker 30 (02:14:00):
I don't want to miss preparing when I'm watching something,
you know, That's why I do it.

Speaker 1 (02:14:04):
But I've done it so long.

Speaker 3 (02:14:06):
It's just become a literal habit.

Speaker 1 (02:14:08):
You literal habit, Colton.

Speaker 7 (02:14:10):
The only reason you're doing subtitles is because you're so
stoned when you're watching.

Speaker 3 (02:14:14):
I'm multitasking, Mojo. Can you eat and watch TV at.

Speaker 13 (02:14:19):
The same time?

Speaker 3 (02:14:20):
Yeah, you can watch subtitle, you can reach subtitles, can
watch it. What's your point?

Speaker 2 (02:14:28):
Tell them?

Speaker 1 (02:14:29):
Emberly, what's going on? Hi?

Speaker 20 (02:14:32):
Hey, y'all, how are you?

Speaker 38 (02:14:33):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (02:14:34):
You know what, I'm good. I like that show, but
the subtitles are driving me crazy.

Speaker 39 (02:14:39):
I love subtitles.

Speaker 19 (02:14:41):
I used to hate subtitles. I used to make fun.

Speaker 15 (02:14:44):
Of like my ex who lived on subtitles, and.

Speaker 12 (02:14:47):
Then I got used to them, and now I can't
live without them.

Speaker 2 (02:14:49):
And I even use them.

Speaker 14 (02:14:50):
On TikTok shamelessly.

Speaker 47 (02:14:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 12 (02:14:53):
And I'm twenty eight, And you know, because you were saying.

Speaker 20 (02:14:57):
You know, like the millennials, twenty year olds.

Speaker 21 (02:14:59):
Whatever.

Speaker 12 (02:15:00):
I can't live without them now.

Speaker 19 (02:15:01):
It helps me keep focused on the show.

Speaker 1 (02:15:03):
Does anybody listen to our show with subtitles? Can you?
I would like to know if the subtitles connection.

Speaker 23 (02:15:08):

Speaker 22 (02:15:09):
There's subtitles on your podcast on Spotify, and maybe sometimes
I do use.

Speaker 10 (02:15:14):
But that's why all of the social media videos are
like they all a lot of.

Speaker 1 (02:15:17):
Them have cap You know, it's funny.

Speaker 7 (02:15:20):
It always says the wrong thing of what I'm saying
because it can't pick me up.

Speaker 1 (02:15:24):
What's up, Jen?

Speaker 3 (02:15:24):
How you doing good?

Speaker 29 (02:15:27):
Good?

Speaker 23 (02:15:27):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (02:15:28):
We're good? You're a teacher that encourages your kids to
watch subtitles.

Speaker 15 (02:15:32):
Yeah, yeah, so kids don't like flipping pages, but they
will definitely watch their shows. So I tell parents are
not on those subtitles, those contents reading minutes.

Speaker 7 (02:15:41):
You know what's funny, Jen, I'm like, I don't know
if you know this, but I'm dyslexic and so I
have a little problem reading. It's tough for me to
do this because I can't pay attention. I have to
like fully watch.

Speaker 1 (02:15:52):
You know, you should see me trying to read five
and six fifty five questions that Shannon reads.

Speaker 6 (02:15:57):
See.

Speaker 10 (02:15:57):
It's a game I play with myself every morning. How
far off the actual question I wrote?

Speaker 9 (02:16:02):
Does he go?

Speaker 1 (02:16:03):
I'm always like, why does she have to put these
big words in there for me? What's going on? Lacey?
How you doing?

Speaker 6 (02:16:09):
Good morning?

Speaker 3 (02:16:11):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (02:16:11):
Lacey?

Speaker 45 (02:16:13):
Hi?

Speaker 14 (02:16:14):
Okay.

Speaker 45 (02:16:14):
Subtitles I need them.

Speaker 24 (02:16:17):
I have to have them.

Speaker 1 (02:16:18):
Really.

Speaker 45 (02:16:18):
I'm thirty five, yes, And I used to hate subtitles.
My husband got me into subtitles, and I used to
always call him old and he's only two years older
than me, but hey, he's closer to forty than I am.
But I'll tell you I have to use them because.

Speaker 33 (02:16:31):
Sometimes we're just doing too many things, Like you guys.

Speaker 45 (02:16:33):
Were saying, we're doing too many things, and a lot
of times I can't understand what they're saying, so I
have to read it.

Speaker 7 (02:16:41):
But here's the thing. If you can't understand what they're saying,
you're not listening to it loud enough.

Speaker 33 (02:16:45):
Probably, Oh it's loud again.

Speaker 45 (02:16:48):
My husband is two years older than me, which I
think he's sixty. He has a hearing problem, so it's loud,
but I can't understand the words.

Speaker 14 (02:16:55):
Sometimes I think.

Speaker 45 (02:16:56):
It's maybe just another age barrier where it's like they're mumbling.

Speaker 7 (02:17:01):
More, what do you do if you go to a
movie theater, they don't always have subtitles running.

Speaker 45 (02:17:06):
Well, see if I take the time to actually get
out the house and go to the movie, I'm putting
my phone down on the movie. Yeah, and we're going.

Speaker 3 (02:17:13):
To watch it.

Speaker 18 (02:17:14):
See.

Speaker 1 (02:17:15):
I can understand if you're doing something else and you're
listening to the show, and if they say something that
you either didn't hear or didn't understand, and you glance
ober and you see what they said. I can understand that.
If you are seated and you're just.

Speaker 16 (02:17:29):
Not doing anything else, you're watching TV, and you have
the subtitles all, then you crazy.

Speaker 7 (02:17:35):
Yeah, Well here's the thing. I think there were so
many people like Anna who aren't even really watching and
even looking at the subtitles because they're looking at their
phone the entire time. So they got three things going.
They've got their phone, they've got the actual show they're watching,
and subtitles.

Speaker 2 (02:17:49):
And probably a bag of doritos and.

Speaker 7 (02:17:50):
Probably it could be a bagos and then they add
another one to it. Probably whatever you took that's making
you eat those boughs? What's going on? How you doing Nick,
good how's going good Man?

Speaker 1 (02:18:02):
What's going on.

Speaker 21 (02:18:05):
Now?

Speaker 37 (02:18:05):
I was just going in because I am about to
be forty, and I watched subtitles religiously and I have
no shame.

Speaker 7 (02:18:12):
Yeah, so you're into it. What got you into subtitles?
Was it like my thing that happened to me? It
was an accident. I couldn't figure out how to shut
them off.

Speaker 37 (02:18:21):
No, you know what I think is is that And
I think this probably goes to the younger generation as
well as like playing video games and anime.

Speaker 3 (02:18:29):
You know, the subtitles in the Bonncy have no choice.

Speaker 1 (02:18:31):
You know.

Speaker 37 (02:18:32):
I also use so much subtitles that now my kids
are kind of really obsessed with subtitles.

Speaker 5 (02:18:36):
Yeah, subtitle.

Speaker 7 (02:18:39):
I would never watch a movie that required subtitles, like
an all foreign movie, because I'd get bored trying to
like sitting there reading it the whole time. But I kind
of get the idea that watching subtitles just off of
what you already understood maybe reinforces it. So it kind
of gives you a little bit of help. But I
and I'm so used to my Exfinity where I just

(02:18:59):
go in my remote and.

Speaker 1 (02:18:59):
Go subtitles off. You should have seen me yelling at
this thing because it was on Peak IG and it
was on the stream subtitles off subtitles, and it's not
listening to me at all. So all right, it is
Mojo in the Morning Show.

Speaker 7 (02:19:14):
So this is actually something that is kind of popular
and yeah, and when people do it, I always find
it to be very very interesting to see what the
reaction of everybody is. So when somebody wants a home
and is looking to buy a house, so.

Speaker 2 (02:19:30):
I thought this was a crazy situation.

Speaker 11 (02:19:32):
But my best friend Jessica grew up on the East
side of Detroit in a house with her parents. Her
parents have passed away and she acquired the house, so
she's been living there for a couple of years and
she said, as of recent as Detroit is probably getting
more attention than it usually gets. She has had multiple
people call show up to her doorstep just reach out

(02:19:57):
to her asking how much she would she would want
for them to buy her house. And she's like, I
don't even have a for sale sign up. This house
is not for sale, but everyone wants to buy it
for whatever reason. I thought that was crazy. But what
are some things that people have tried to buy off

(02:20:17):
of you that aren't for sale. It could be your shoes,
could be your house.

Speaker 1 (02:20:20):
Oh yeah, I like this as a topic.

Speaker 11 (02:20:23):
Yeah, because I've I know, I've seen like if Kevin
was wearing a jacket I liked, I would be like, yo,
how much for the jacket?

Speaker 2 (02:20:28):
And I would try to buy it off of him.

Speaker 9 (02:20:30):
Wow, you wouldn't just say where'd you get your jacket?

Speaker 2 (02:20:32):
And go?

Speaker 16 (02:20:33):
Some things are one of one that happened to me before.
I literally this is Thanksgiving Day parade. I was on
the float for Quicken at the time, and this was
like the first year Shinola was in the parade, and
they had like fifty Shinola people carrying an American flag
and they created these Shinola reversible varsity like zip of
jackets and the jacket was fire and for some reason,

(02:20:56):
this dude thought that this little rinking, deep tight little
red wings. Sure, and I had all those fire as well.
He's like, man, can I bought him? Like na, but
you can give me your jacket. And we just did
a jersey show up right.

Speaker 24 (02:21:07):
Really, Yeah, that's so cool.

Speaker 9 (02:21:10):
That's so cool. The house thing has happened.

Speaker 10 (02:21:12):
The house thing actually just happened to me about a
month or two ago or somebody, and I get him
from realtors a lot that are just standard. I'm sure
they canvassed the neighborhood. But I got a handwritten note
put in my mailbox, and it intrigued me until I
remember that my interest rate is only two and a
half percent, and I'm like, I'm not moving.

Speaker 2 (02:21:30):
You don't even know what the inside of your house
looks like.

Speaker 9 (02:21:32):
But that's what they ask.

Speaker 10 (02:21:33):
They say, I'm interested in you know your house. We
love the outside, we love the neighborhood. Whatever would you
be willing to let us, you know, walk through or
whatever and put an offer?

Speaker 9 (02:21:43):
I would think I didn't.

Speaker 1 (02:21:44):
I would think if somebody was walking up to me
and said, hey, I like your shoes. Can I buy
your shoes?

Speaker 7 (02:21:50):
I would think I am about to get arrested for something,
like if like a form of solicitation or something, you
know what I mean. Like I would think to myself,
I'm like going, this guy's trying to rob me, Like
he's trying. Yeah, I'm gonna give him my shoes.

Speaker 1 (02:22:02):
Next thing I know, he's gonna like steal my wallet
and run. What's up, Princess, how you doing?

Speaker 28 (02:22:08):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:22:10):
What's going on? Have you had this happen where somebody
just randomly came up to you and wanted to buy
your place?

Speaker 12 (02:22:15):
Well, I own a house and I own two lots
in Detroit, and.

Speaker 38 (02:22:19):
They'll just send you random text messages to ask you
do you want to tell your house?

Speaker 1 (02:22:23):
I think I think that stuff is scams. I think
those are just real estate agents looking for a listing.

Speaker 20 (02:22:28):
They call you too.

Speaker 50 (02:22:29):
I've had calls too.

Speaker 7 (02:22:30):
Yeah, I've seen that happen before. And you know what
you do next time that happens.

Speaker 1 (02:22:35):
Tell them one million dollars and see see what they say.
I'm telling you. Call them on their their bluff. Instead
of just saying no, I'm not right now, tell them
give them a price on something and see if anybody
buys what. You're pink pinky on the corner of your
mouth and you say, one, mon, what's up, Cassidy? How
you doing? Cassidy?

Speaker 24 (02:22:56):
Hey?

Speaker 32 (02:22:56):
For time?

Speaker 37 (02:22:57):
Long time on the.

Speaker 3 (02:23:02):
Okay?

Speaker 39 (02:23:03):
So I have this one jacket from from the back
is as like bruised, never broken, and every single time
that I wear it, somebody offers to buy.

Speaker 23 (02:23:14):
It off of me.

Speaker 39 (02:23:16):
And even though it's a woman's jacket, I have had
men try to buy it off of me.

Speaker 2 (02:23:20):
Wow, is there a price you would give it to
them for?

Speaker 17 (02:23:24):
Oh, I say, like three hundred dollars every time, and
nobody wants to do it.

Speaker 3 (02:23:31):
But you can't get it anymore.

Speaker 1 (02:23:32):
So don't come down on that price. I'm telling you
one of these absolutely not that nice. Omar, what's up? Omar?

Speaker 3 (02:23:45):
Hey, I'm the going guys.

Speaker 50 (02:23:47):
So I just wanted to comment. I I build like
retro bikes from scratch usually, So a couple of years back,
I built a bike and after I finished it, I
was riding it around. Notice this guy has been like
following me for like two three miles, and so you know,
I carry and stuff, and so I ended up pulling
over and like I'm like, you know, what are you
following me for? And the guy's like, oh man, it's

(02:24:09):
a really nice bike. I want to buy it. I
want to buy He wouldn't leave me alone.

Speaker 3 (02:24:12):
Ended up getting his.

Speaker 50 (02:24:13):
Number, and then yeah, I ended up selling it to
him because he just kept messaging me like every other
day like did you change your mind yet? Did you
change your mind yet?

Speaker 6 (02:24:19):
So?

Speaker 1 (02:24:19):
What's the money good enough? What do you give you?

Speaker 21 (02:24:23):
Uh?

Speaker 50 (02:24:23):
Yeah, I mean all in all, I was like maybe
seventeen hundred into the bike, because you know it's it
was an eighty eighty one cm four fifty Honda.

Speaker 35 (02:24:30):
I bought it for like five hundred bucks maybe a
thousand bus.

Speaker 9 (02:24:35):
Wait wait stop? How much money did you make on it?

Speaker 50 (02:24:39):
I sold it for six grand, so I made about
forty hundred.

Speaker 1 (02:24:43):
Wow, Shannon, Shannon, it's an eighty four m D four.

Speaker 9 (02:24:48):
I don't know what that means.

Speaker 1 (02:24:49):
But you know what, why would you not make six
grand on that? Are you kidding me?

Speaker 7 (02:24:54):
It was if he was an eighty four m D five,
it's not worth as much money. But you know, you
all know this stuff. Omar, Thank you, Omar.

Speaker 3 (02:25:03):
Yeah, you're right. You sound let you know it too.

Speaker 1 (02:25:06):
I do, Thanks, Omar. I appreciate it. You know, us guys,
we got to stick together. I'm going, Hey, are you going?
Are you going to the bike show this weekend? I'll
be there, He'll be Uh. What's the ma all in Lavonia? Called?
I see you at the little park place. That's usually
a place that has like shows like that. Uh, Jenna,

(02:25:27):
what's up, Jenna? How you doing?

Speaker 32 (02:25:29):
Good morning? I had a condo in Gibraltar, pretty close
to the water and to the last I've been there
twenty seven years, and several times somebody was knocking on
my door sending me letters saying I want to buy
your condo, and I said, no, I've lived here for

(02:25:49):
too long. Finally they came to my door and they said,
we'll give you this much, and I laughed and I said,
add fifty grand to it.

Speaker 3 (02:25:57):
They said deal. Can you be in a month.

Speaker 32 (02:26:01):
Yeah, I'll be out next week. But I've had it
thirty years and I think I paid fifty thousand for it.

Speaker 14 (02:26:07):
And I walked out of there.

Speaker 32 (02:26:09):
With four hundred grants.

Speaker 1 (02:26:10):
Oh my god, that's great.

Speaker 9 (02:26:12):
That is in.

Speaker 7 (02:26:13):
They're making more water. I'm telling you, that's what the
real estate guys. I'll say, right, that's it. That's great. Joanne,
what's up?

Speaker 1 (02:26:21):
Joanne?

Speaker 3 (02:26:23):
Hey, good morning.

Speaker 1 (02:26:24):
What's happening.

Speaker 19 (02:26:27):
I We have alf night our Girl Scout.

Speaker 14 (02:26:30):
I was a Girl Scout leader for thirteen years and
last year was their twentieth anniversary. So I wore this jacket.

Speaker 12 (02:26:36):
It was an Olf jacket like an a'll fall over it.

Speaker 14 (02:26:39):
And we went to the barer after and the guy
comes up to me, he goes, can I buy that jacket.

Speaker 12 (02:26:44):
I go, yeah, this jacket right here?

Speaker 3 (02:26:47):
He goes, Yeah. I'm like, how much will you give me?
He goes, I'll give you a hundred bucks. So I
made like fifty bucks on it.

Speaker 1 (02:26:52):
Oh hey, Joanne, you know that Anna has guys walk
up to her at bars all the time asking for
her underwear. Amazing. Can make a ton of money doing that.

Speaker 12 (02:27:01):
That did.

Speaker 6 (02:27:07):
You?

Speaker 1 (02:27:07):
Dirty girl? Oh? I gotta play it for real quick.
I haven't played this one for you. This is your drop.
You're a dirty girl like Anna?

Speaker 7 (02:27:16):
This is a good one. This would be perfect for
Shannon or myself. What's up, sam Hi?

Speaker 23 (02:27:24):
I have so many people offer to buy my dog
in public.

Speaker 15 (02:27:29):
I have a new Foodland poodle.

Speaker 5 (02:27:30):
He's a huge, beautiful god is it?

Speaker 3 (02:27:33):
Wait?

Speaker 1 (02:27:33):
Is that chan is gonna offer you money?

Speaker 9 (02:27:35):
Poodle?

Speaker 24 (02:27:36):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 1 (02:27:37):
Nice? Dogs?

Speaker 15 (02:27:39):
So huge, beautiful.

Speaker 23 (02:27:40):
He has such long.

Speaker 20 (02:27:41):
Curly hair, he's huge pounds.

Speaker 40 (02:27:44):
And every time I go out somewhere, they're like, they're
like people by him.

Speaker 1 (02:27:50):
Oh my gosh, you know what's wild?

Speaker 9 (02:27:53):
Do you hold him like a baby?

Speaker 1 (02:27:54):
Wow? You do you do that?

Speaker 48 (02:27:56):
Are real?

Speaker 1 (02:27:57):
They're like people, do you do you hold your dog
like a baby?

Speaker 15 (02:28:03):
So I'm like, I'm twenty weeks I'm like, you have
to get off of me.

Speaker 1 (02:28:07):
You know what's funny about that?

Speaker 7 (02:28:09):
Sam, I actually go out and offer people money to
take my dogs.

Speaker 1 (02:28:17):
I'll give you five hundred dollars two of them.

Speaker 44 (02:28:20):
Please note to Mojo's little yippie dogs, don't piss them off.

Speaker 6 (02:28:24):
He could eat you.

Speaker 5 (02:28:27):
This is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 1 (02:28:28):
This is nice? Is Duncan that send us in Lydia?

Speaker 9 (02:28:32):
Yeah, and the team over.

Speaker 7 (02:28:33):
At Wicked, the team for Wicked and Duncan teaming up together.

Speaker 1 (02:28:38):
This is really nice.

Speaker 7 (02:28:39):
They actually asked the Lydia if they could send some
stuff down to the studio to us, and so it
was really nice. They gave us t shirts, hats, even
these collective collectible addition munchkins in a little Duncan treat box.
It's a Wicked treat box. But here's the story. None

(02:29:02):
of this stuff's gonna fit me. So you know what,
who's a who's listening here that's a large and an
extra large and got a really small head and likes
dunkin Munchkins. I'll give you my box. You can have
my box here. Oh geez, I just shut us off.
Are we still on?

Speaker 10 (02:29:18):
The air, I think, so are we computer?

Speaker 1 (02:29:23):
Just my computer just went. Isn't that crazy?

Speaker 21 (02:29:27):
No?

Speaker 1 (02:29:28):
Oh, there you go. No, I like the song. Don't
don't mess with my song. Zach asked me to shut
this song. Oh it's even got a hair tie. Hair,
look at this. Maybe I can wear the hair tie.
Is this a bare bottle opener? No, that's just a
key chain.

Speaker 7 (02:29:41):
Oh, and I can file my nails, so Lydia, I'm

six six four A.

Speaker 9 (02:30:01):
Way that I'm excited to see this movie.

Speaker 1 (02:30:04):
You know, it's funny. Somebody called me up the other
day and they said, did you guys have those Starbucks cups?
You know the ones the bear cups that they had
because they saw the picture that was put up by Bianca,
And I said, I go, I go no, And they said,
oh my god, a friend of mine just sold it
for like a thousand dollars. And I'm like, I'll sell

(02:30:27):
the picture. The AI picture that we did.

Speaker 9 (02:30:30):
People.

Speaker 16 (02:30:30):
I got to take my grandma to the movies to
see this on Saturday or Saturday or Sunday one of
them days.

Speaker 7 (02:30:36):
Is it out already? Is it okay?

Speaker 3 (02:30:39):
Although I know.

Speaker 10 (02:30:40):
People that are going to see it tonight that had
you can get like Amazon, something on Amazon, like a
pre sale.

Speaker 9 (02:30:46):
There's there's it's happening all week.

Speaker 7 (02:30:47):
But yeah, good nap coming up after you get done
with your dirty report, Shannon. Yeah, we are going to
talk to a couple of Detroit that are throwing cuddle
parties and they're they're talking about how there's a bunch
of these cuddle parties that are happening in Detroit. Uh,

(02:31:10):
which to me sounds like something that I would want
to go to.

Speaker 1 (02:31:14):
Yeah, well no, I.

Speaker 2 (02:31:15):
Okay, Well it sounds like we're invited strangers.

Speaker 9 (02:31:18):
I'm confused.

Speaker 1 (02:31:19):
I think so. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:31:21):
I don't know if necessarily my wife would be happy
about me going to a cuddle party, but uh, but
I think it would be kind of fun. I love cuddling.
This is for you, then, I do. Although cuddling always
wants to lead to something.

Speaker 9 (02:31:34):
That's what That's what I'm That's my question.

Speaker 7 (02:31:37):
Uh, hold on who is this on the phone with
us right now?

Speaker 1 (02:31:41):
Tomko is that your name?

Speaker 14 (02:31:45):
Yes, to Meiko, that's my my first time.

Speaker 9 (02:31:50):
On the phone.

Speaker 3 (02:31:54):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 9 (02:31:55):
I'm so nervous.

Speaker 1 (02:31:56):
Hey to Miko, you're a fan of Wicked. You're a winner. Congratulations.

Speaker 14 (02:32:01):
Yeah, yay.

Speaker 1 (02:32:05):
Now it's like a prize bag full of T shirts, hats,
Duncan munchkins, key chains and stuff like that. I'll have
Lidia somehow get it for you. Okay, where are you
calling us from? What area? Troy basket Ball, Troy. Congratulations

(02:32:27):
to you, enjoy Okay, thank you, Thanks to Miko, and
go see Wicket in theaters this Friday.

Speaker 3 (02:32:36):
We'll be there.

Speaker 1 (02:32:36):
Go see that. It's going to be our Thanksgiving Day
after Thanksgiving thing that we do as a family. We
did last year. Okay, what'd you think of the film?
I actually, you know what, I liked it.

Speaker 7 (02:32:48):
It kept me awake the whole time, and I love
going to imagine and enjoying.

Speaker 1 (02:32:53):
The popcorn and all the rest of that stuff.

Speaker 7 (02:32:55):
So all right now we're going to give you a
chance to win jingle Ball tickets, Nelly Shine Down, Big
Ex The Plug, Conan Gray, Raven Lenney, Jesse, Murph Zara Larson.
We just added to the jingle Ball aside from the
K Pop demon Hunters, we just added one of the

(02:33:18):
She's an actress that has been in a number of
different things, but she also has got music out. What
the hell's her name? Fay Or Frey s Guy. So
Fray s Guy is going to be there. I couldn't
believe it. I got a phone call from Jason Rasnik
that his daughter was like.

Speaker 10 (02:33:34):
Oh, Lucy was absolutely freaking really and Samantha freaking out.

Speaker 1 (02:33:39):
Really.

Speaker 7 (02:33:40):
It's so funny because I'm thinking to myself, I'm like,
you know, when Tony added that to the list of
people that are going to be at jingle Ball, I
was thinking to myself, like, what is going on? Like Tony,
Tony keeps adding more names that I have no idea
who the hell that these people are. And then Frey
as Guy has more people getting you know, friends and
family and and all these people calling me up asking

(02:34:01):
me for tickets. Now, so your chance to go to
jingle Ball. It's happening on December the ninth. Tickets available
Ticketmaster or call eight four to four Mojo Live Now,
Jor in.

Speaker 6 (02:34:11):
The Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 7 (02:34:14):
Shannon I stayed up late last night, wasted my time
on a Lion's log.

Speaker 1 (02:34:19):
Get to celebrate hurts, teach a knee and that rats
this one up.

Speaker 3 (02:34:25):
Well. Controversy with the call at the end, but the
Lions offense held in checked fourteen of thirty seven of
the years.

Speaker 9 (02:34:32):
Asked for not exactly the most fun game to watch.

Speaker 8 (02:34:36):
Coach Dan Campbell, we all got a hand in it
from me, you know, the coaches, all of us, man,
everybody that's part of this offense. You know, we got
to be better, especially in a day like today, when
you're playing that kind of defense, that kind of team.
You know, the margin foreer is so small. Man, you
don't have the luxury like we get in the red zone.

(02:34:56):
We have to score a touchdown. Man, we can't come
away not to score seven there. You know, we have
to convert at least two or three of those fourth downs.

Speaker 43 (02:35:05):
You know, you have to.

Speaker 8 (02:35:06):
And we just we just we were a little off.
We just couldn't get our ridthen there.

Speaker 7 (02:35:12):
You know, it's amazing watching this team. The thing that
I thought that we were going to struggle with this
year was our defense. For some reason, I thought our
defense was going to struggle Our defense is definitely one
of the strongest defenses that we've ever had, and it's
obviously one of the best in the league. The offense
is the one that's unpredictable, and that's been the struggle.

(02:35:32):
And I hate to say it comes down to a coach,
but Ben Johnson sure looks like he did a great
job with the offense, and then to see him winning
with the Bears. But Goff just looks totally different to
me right now. He was not comfortable last night. He
can't play in the.

Speaker 10 (02:35:51):
Cold, dude, I was cold watching that game last night.
Dan Camble's nose was so red I was called.

Speaker 9 (02:35:57):
While we're talking football. By the way, we found out.

Speaker 10 (02:35:59):
Last week you that eminem and Paul Rosenberg were signed
on to be the executive producers of the halftime show
for the Thanksgiving Day the Thanksgiving game Lions versus Packers.

Speaker 9 (02:36:09):
Now we have a performer, Jack White of the White Stripes.
We'll be hanging out at Portfield.

Speaker 1 (02:36:18):
Are the two of them? And it wasn't the girl. Yeah,
it was him and his sister Meg. They no longer group.
I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (02:36:27):
Haven't she's m I a According to Zach, you just
said it in my head. Oh okay, should we put
out an all points bulletin for her?

Speaker 1 (02:36:35):
You know it's wild.

Speaker 7 (02:36:36):
I would love to see Jack White at the Big
House performing the song Create all those Michigan fans that
already go crazy, du du that's good.

Speaker 1 (02:36:47):
For some reason, I kept seeing over the weekend on
one of those I don't know, like parody sites. Parody sites,
they said Reba McIntyre.

Speaker 9 (02:36:56):
Yeah, I saw that too.

Speaker 10 (02:36:58):
I saw, and then I saw mar was going to
be performing with Rebot.

Speaker 9 (02:37:01):
Like, wait, that's a wonder wild.

Speaker 1 (02:37:04):
Who's doing the national anthem? I saw CC Winings too,
all right.

Speaker 10 (02:37:11):
OJ Simpson's family has officially accepted a creditor acclaim from
Ron Goldman's family, a major major step in finally resolving
the decades old wrongful death judgment against OJ. According to
some brand new court filings, the estateic Knowledge is owing
about fifty eight million dollars plus interest to Ron Goldman's dad, Fred,

(02:37:37):
and this is tied to the nineteen ninety seven civil
verdict that found OJ Simpson liable for the deaths of
Ron and Nicole Brown Simpson. So remember a little refresh
in history here. OJ was acquitted in the nineteen ninety
five criminal case, but the civil jury ordered him to
pay more than thirty three million dollars, and that number

(02:37:59):
grew over the years because he almost very nothing of
it was paid. Okay, So the estate's executor now says
he's going to work with the Goldman legal team to
calculate the updated amount.

Speaker 9 (02:38:11):
And this isn't going to happen overnight.

Speaker 10 (02:38:12):
The estate has to be sorted out, assets, auctioned off,
debts prioritized. But this judgment does formally confirm that the
Goldman family is entitled to this money and this amount
of money.

Speaker 9 (02:38:24):
And for Ron Goldman's dad, for Fred.

Speaker 10 (02:38:26):
Goldman, he said, this fight was obviously not about dollars.
The focus remains on accountability and honoring his son, even
three decades after he was murdered.

Speaker 7 (02:38:37):
Now, Kevin does not believe that Oj killed because he
was acquitted in the case. Who do you think killed
OJ's wife, Nicole and Ron Goldman?

Speaker 1 (02:38:48):
I don't think about it, really, I don't. I could
care less, really, yes, okay, it could not care less
the trial of this century. I could care less now,
I will say this even lessen already do.

Speaker 7 (02:39:01):
Johnny Cochran was as Johnny Cochran was an amazing attorney,
and the prosecution did such a bad job. And the
whole idea that they let Oj you know, put that
glove on, which you know it didn't fit.

Speaker 16 (02:39:15):
Bruh, then you must have quit shout out to Rob
Kardashian too and the whole team.

Speaker 1 (02:39:20):
That's right, Well, no, it is that.

Speaker 8 (02:39:21):
Who was.

Speaker 1 (02:39:23):
Robert Yeah.

Speaker 9 (02:39:26):
And Leslie.

Speaker 10 (02:39:27):
If you are a fan of Cheetos and Dorito's, you
are soon going to have the option to buy all
of your favorites without the bright artificial colors like the
fake die Pepsi Co, who is the parent co of
Cheeto's and Dorito's, announced a They're calling it a reinvention
of these iconic snacks with the launch of simply Naked,

(02:39:47):
Dorito's Cheetos flavors and Kadi Naked. So the naked products
will be available in four different flavors. I think they're
already available at Walmart. But Dorito's Nacho Cheese, Dorito's Cool Ranch,
Cheeto's Puff, and Cheetos flameing Hot, So it just doesn't
have it does like the flame and hot Cheetos are
not that like a bright orange ready red color they're

(02:40:08):
like yellow.

Speaker 11 (02:40:10):
I like.

Speaker 1 (02:40:11):
I like the idea of them, not you know, any color,
because I don't like them on my fingers.

Speaker 9 (02:40:15):
They said, same crunch, same flavor, just without the added color.

Speaker 7 (02:40:20):
I don't like eating them for that reason. Yeah, because
it makes me feel like I'm gonna get it all
over me.

Speaker 16 (02:40:25):
When I was a kid, I used to be the
best part of cheetahs, like licking it off, the residue off.

Speaker 1 (02:40:29):
Do you like the puffs at all? Like the puffers?
That was the worst thing they ever.

Speaker 9 (02:40:34):
What do you mean the puffs came before the little
crunching this air.

Speaker 23 (02:40:39):
I love that they.

Speaker 9 (02:40:41):
Melt in your mouth. Cheats and cool ranch shirritos some things.

Speaker 16 (02:40:46):
We should just like hot Cheetos supposed to be rad
That's part of the Yes, kill me.

Speaker 1 (02:40:51):
I don't care. I know. It's like Skittles too, like
give me. I don't care if the skittles have dyeing,
it kill me.

Speaker 10 (02:41:00):

(02:41:58):
So they're doing these parties in Detroit and the city
of Detroit, and I want to hear more about this
on the phone with us right now. Is somebody who
titles themselves as a certified cuddlest and then the other
is the person that is the party planner. I guess
that's planning these parties together. We have Lynn Young on
with us and Leora is it edut?

Speaker 1 (02:42:21):
I believe.

Speaker 7 (02:42:22):
I don't know if that's how you pronounce it, Leora.
I apologize if I've mispronounced it.

Speaker 1 (02:42:25):
Am I right? Am I saying your last name? Leora?

Speaker 32 (02:42:30):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:42:31):
Leor do I totally screwed it up. It's all good
and Lynn Young on with us right now. Hi, guys,
good morning.

Speaker 51 (02:42:41):
Did we hear that we're invited to a cuddle party
at jingle Bar?

Speaker 32 (02:42:46):
We want?

Speaker 50 (02:42:47):
They are?

Speaker 1 (02:42:49):
Let's do it.

Speaker 7 (02:42:50):
You know what I've boss, Tony Trevado is an official
cuddler here at the radio station. He gives good backslaps
whenever you see him, but sometimes I think he can
give a good hug. We'll invite you guys to come
to jingle Ball with us. So, Leora, you're having these
cuddle parties in Detroit? Is that what I'm understanding?

Speaker 51 (02:43:08):
Yes, you're hearing it all right?

Speaker 1 (02:43:10):
And where do you have these at? Is it like
in a place that's kind of cuddly.

Speaker 51 (02:43:16):
So it's definitely a cuddle environment. So think soft pillows, blankets,
cozy couches, just a space for people to kind of
come in and exhale, because you know, some people are
stuck behind their cubicles all week long or you know,

(02:43:40):
on their computers, and we don't get to relax our
bodies the way that our bodies actually need to be relaxed.

Speaker 9 (02:43:48):
Throughout the week.

Speaker 10 (02:43:48):
So this is totally different than what I than I
think what we all were imagining it to be, because
I not that I thought it was a sexual thing,
but I didn't realize this is a very real, like
nervous system regulation, like you said, take a breather and
recalibrate type of thing.

Speaker 14 (02:44:09):
Yeah, yeah, is going ahead Land, Yeah, I can speak
to that. So Couto therapy in itself is structured around
a non central therapeutic form of touch. Right, it's all consensual,
it's platonic, you know, it's non sexual innocense, and it's
built to you know, regulate those emotions and nervous system

(02:44:31):
restoration and emotional well being.

Speaker 3 (02:44:34):
You know.

Speaker 14 (02:44:34):
So typically we always get that like people think it's
a place to come and hook up and hang out
and kind of you know, meet a date, because that's
you're hyper sexualized in the world. Yeah, but we we
must say that's not working. Pologiz Yeah, I was listening
to you guys show this morning about Bianca and.

Speaker 48 (02:44:54):
The guy and the lady who was dating it didn't
work out, and discussing you know, all that stuff, what
it looks like to be a widow because I'm a
widow and I think sometimes unlike we just compensate for,
you know, the things that we're going through that like
that loneliness, that lack of attention, not even knowing how
we like to show up for ourselves and be touched.

(02:45:15):
So this is a really cool way, informative, way, safe,
way for us to get and explore what that energy
looks like, the safe and sensual touch.

Speaker 9 (02:45:22):
So like what is what like? What what does the
cuddle list like? What does this look like?

Speaker 21 (02:45:29):
You want?

Speaker 31 (02:45:31):
You want to go in and share that peace?

Speaker 14 (02:45:33):
Then okay, I'm at I'm certified as a cuddle practitioner.

Speaker 28 (02:45:40):
And what that looks like is creating that soft environment
for you to feel relaxed and dropping in with getting
to know who you are, where you're at in life,
and what does that look like?

Speaker 43 (02:45:52):
Because we all show up for distant reasons.

Speaker 14 (02:45:54):
Right right, So some people may be lonely and they
may be looking for that connection but don't know how
to get it. You know that hit or misk it
because you're like, okay, I'm gonna give up, you know,
and then a temple of evotions come behind it. So
what it looks like for me as the CODIL partner
or the CODL therapist in.

Speaker 3 (02:46:11):
A sense, I'm gonna go in. We're gonna go through
a series of moves.

Speaker 28 (02:46:15):
After we drop you in, get you nice, comfortable and relax.

Speaker 1 (02:46:18):
We'll go through a temperature real quick. What kind of
temperature are we talking.

Speaker 3 (02:46:23):
We're gonna keep.

Speaker 14 (02:46:24):
It cool because we don't want your guys off.

Speaker 7 (02:46:27):
Okay, all right, I want to make sure about that.
All right, good, because I am kind of a guy
that runs a little hotter.

Speaker 37 (02:46:32):
Uh.

Speaker 51 (02:46:33):
And we also and we also ask people to not
wear like colognes and heavy sprays because you are really
sensitive to smell. And please take a shower, and you know,
please keep your hot gene up because you might just
be like standing like sitting across from somebody and holding hands.

Speaker 1 (02:46:54):
What you think you might you know.

Speaker 24 (02:46:58):
Somebody?

Speaker 16 (02:46:59):
Yeah, Like when you pull up to the cuddle party,
do you only cuddle one person or is it like rotating?

Speaker 14 (02:47:07):
We don't have a cuddle fez. We don't have a
couple free zone. And when you break off at the end,
you kind of get the network and cuddle.

Speaker 3 (02:47:16):
The exercise position how long?

Speaker 1 (02:47:20):
How long is does ease position last for or each session?
I guess you know what.

Speaker 14 (02:47:25):
I'm gonna be honest. I heard somebody say, like, why
would I want to cuddle with a stranger? I heard you, guys.
I've been I've been listening all morning.

Speaker 1 (02:47:32):
I love stranger.

Speaker 14 (02:47:39):
Yeah, we're holding hands with strangers. We're hugging people. Have
a nice day, get home safe.

Speaker 1 (02:47:44):
The world needs more or less.

Speaker 7 (02:47:47):
Although Leora and Land, both of you guys on this one,
this is Mojo. How you doing nice? Nice to have
you on the show. I appreciate you guys for joining us.
By the way, Lens of Beauty, Oh my I.

Speaker 3 (02:48:00):
Is she?

Speaker 1 (02:48:00):
Oh my god? They're both hot? Are real quick? I
guess I gotta I got a quick thing? Are you
guys okay if I bring my attorney in an n
DA there because I don't necessarily want to be cuddling
with somebody and then get sued afterwards, is it okay?

Speaker 25 (02:48:14):
If we we?

Speaker 6 (02:48:15):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (02:48:16):
Absolutely, I want to make you sign an NDA on
cuddling with Mojo. I don't know if I want to.

Speaker 23 (02:48:23):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (02:48:24):
My wife, by the way, only wants to cuddle, you
know so, and she says I'm a good CUDDLERT like,
I think she enjoys that. And I was to her,
cuddling is more sexual than even the intimacy of sex.
I think that's actually a good you should meet Chelsea.

Speaker 39 (02:48:40):
We bring Chelsea.

Speaker 2 (02:48:41):
We would love to have you by.

Speaker 7 (02:48:43):
Chelsea is an excellent cudd alert and she's very good.
And I'm be honest with you, I've been known as
a cuddler. In matter of fact, the gay community calls
me a bear.

Speaker 51 (02:48:51):
But I I just want I just want you to
know points right there, that's major points right.

Speaker 1 (02:48:57):
There, Mojo, Hold on a second, Jamie wants to be
a Jamie. What's up?

Speaker 21 (02:49:01):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (02:49:02):
Hello?

Speaker 19 (02:49:03):
I just wanted to say the first lady that was
talking the way she.

Speaker 24 (02:49:07):
Found it super relaxed.

Speaker 1 (02:49:09):
I want to go there.

Speaker 17 (02:49:10):
I know.

Speaker 9 (02:49:11):
That's why I was like, wait a second, this is
not what I thought it was.

Speaker 1 (02:49:14):
I think I like that she's got great blood pressure.
It's amazing.

Speaker 17 (02:49:19):
To go.

Speaker 7 (02:49:20):
I'm telling you, guys, I like this idea of a
cuddle party. So where specifically can people connect to know
about these caddle parties?

Speaker 51 (02:49:27):
They can connect with us on TikTok or they can
and my TikTok is Goddess on the Go and the
number one not oh n E, but just the number one,
and Lynz is Violet Seal. They can also connect with
me on Instagram I'm Goddess on the Go one or

(02:49:51):
email which is Goddess hyphen on theego dot com.

Speaker 7 (02:49:56):
All right, we got We're going to get a group
of listeners together. I've got a couple of people. One
of them is a lady named kol a lady. The
other one, Uh, should we invite missfit? Uh, let's get
three hundred gym. Three hundred Oh my god, three hundred
gym is amazing. You want to cuddle with him?

Speaker 8 (02:50:12):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (02:50:13):
But we're gonna get a group of us together and
come on by there. And I think, Bianca, you got
to do a report from down there. We got to
do a social media postion.

Speaker 1 (02:50:20):
Okay, do it.

Speaker 23 (02:50:23):
So fun?

Speaker 6 (02:50:24):
Can we do it?

Speaker 1 (02:50:24):
Can we do an official, unofficial cuddle party in the
radio studios on like a Friday morning?

Speaker 9 (02:50:28):
I want it.

Speaker 1 (02:50:30):
I don't know how our studio it's like, yeah, you
know what I mean?

Speaker 25 (02:50:35):
The vibe.

Speaker 1 (02:50:35):
Maybe we dim the lights a little bit.

Speaker 2 (02:50:37):
Listen we'll bring the pillows.

Speaker 39 (02:50:39):
We'll bring we'll create the we'll create.

Speaker 51 (02:50:43):
Hey, we have the people there will make it happen,
Leora and Lynn.

Speaker 1 (02:50:47):
I love you guys for going on with us. This
is amazing.

Speaker 4 (02:50:50):
Thank you for having us.

Speaker 1 (02:50:52):
Yeah, I love you guys.

Speaker 7 (02:50:53):
All right, Lydia, Lydia, let's make this happen. I like
this for breaking and entering Christmas wish. We're gonna raise money.
We do everything for charity. Just try to get away
with it. We'll be right back.

Speaker 5 (02:51:03):
We did all four seasons. Sometimes the same day you.

Speaker 1 (02:51:06):
Were listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (02:51:09):
Royds Risk.

Speaker 1 (02:51:14):
Three grade stations, one stupid show.

Speaker 7 (02:51:19):
This is Mojo in the Morning, Live Mojo in the Morning.
So Shannon is back from a girl's weekend. You guys
went down to Florida. You rented a car and you
had an almost tragic moment. Happened to you renting a vehicle.

Speaker 10 (02:51:38):
Okay, So we were supposed to get a like a
Nissan Rogue or something. They're five of us girls, so
like a Compact Suv I think they call it, and
we ended up getting upgraded to a Jeep Wrangler Ubic.

Speaker 6 (02:51:55):
Nothing was.

Speaker 9 (02:51:56):
It was really nice.

Speaker 1 (02:51:59):
And the road better.

Speaker 10 (02:52:02):
Well, we did it, and we wanted to take the
top off and drive, you know, along the beach it up.

Speaker 3 (02:52:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 10 (02:52:09):
So anyway, so one morning, my friend Andria and I
decided to wake up early and there was this beach
that I wanted to check out because I heard that
you could find like tons of sand dollars there. And
you guys know, I'm a huge nerd about seashells.

Speaker 1 (02:52:19):
So what a girl's trip, I mean.

Speaker 10 (02:52:21):
Yeah, So her and I woke up early and did that,
and then on the way home, we were like, oh,
We're going to stop at this bakery and get like
coffee and you know, sinnmon rolls whatever we got for
for everybody.

Speaker 9 (02:52:31):
Well, I'm only five feet tall, so.

Speaker 10 (02:52:34):
Even to get into the Wrangler, I had to like hoist,
like take the little handlebar thing like hoist myself in.
I couldn't see over the the dash. Yeah, okay, so
I lowered the steering wheel. I couldn't really see that
well over the dash. But I'm the one driving. I
don't know why I'm not a good driver in the
first place. My friend Andrey and I roll up to
this bakery and I hard stop, thank god, because they

(02:53:00):
there was a little like bar on the ground in
the front of the parking space. My friend goes flying,
I go flying, like stopped just in time. We're getting
out of the car, and I said to her, thank
God that that thing was on the ground and stopped
the tires, because I would have and I really would have.
I would have driven right through the front window of

(02:53:21):
the bakery. And there were these little old ladies sitting
at a table outside and they're like, you're happy you.

Speaker 9 (02:53:25):
Got stopped too, because you would have killed all of us.

Speaker 10 (02:53:29):
I like, I should not be driving a rental car.
I'm the person that they don't that you have enterns
because of.

Speaker 1 (02:53:36):
Have any of our listeners ever driven through a building?
Like if you ever?

Speaker 10 (02:53:40):
So my mom actually did that real yeah, when she
got her first car, there was a dry cleaners in
Alan Park on Allan Road, and she thought her car
was in reverse and it was actually in drive, and
she went she smashed through the entire front of the business,
to the point that people ran and jumped on the
dry cleaning the dry cleaner counter to avoid getting had.

Speaker 2 (02:54:03):
Crazy huge story about that alta off of Woodward that.

Speaker 10 (02:54:07):
Was a drunk driver, but she was just trying to
escape the police.

Speaker 7 (02:54:14):
Don't care drunk or not. It's I drove through our garage.
I I've done that a couple of times. One time
in the morning, backing up out of it thinking I
put it up and it didn't. And then another time
Chelsea's car. So Chelsea has a Volkswagon and it is
a little bug with a stick shift, so it's you know,
and I don't know how to drive a stick very well.

(02:54:35):
And I thought I had the car in reverse, because
the way that Volkswagens are they reverse you have to.

Speaker 1 (02:54:42):
Go down and then go all the way over to
the left.

Speaker 7 (02:54:45):
Well, I had it in first gear and I hit
it and it went forward, boom smacking right into the wall.

Speaker 16 (02:54:53):
When I had drivers training, luckily, I guess they got
brakes and gas on both sides. So my instructor was
in a passenger side. We were in back of a bank,
and I think that's where I was like trying to
learn how to pay a little apart. And I don't
know what happened, but I slammed on the gas. Thought
I was going forward, but I was actually going to reverse,
and luckily he slammed on the break before we went
through that bank.

Speaker 1 (02:55:13):
That was insane. Wow. Can I tell you that?

Speaker 7 (02:55:17):
Whenever I rent a car and yeah we're just doing
a show here, that's okay, you just run right in. Yeah, yeah,
come on zaching or I'm like, what is going on here?
My add is going off that whenever I rent a car,
I always end up renting a car that I never
have driven before. Like I'll go to uh wherever, Enterprise

(02:55:40):
or whatever and go rent a car and you go
in there and they'll go, yeah, you're in me and
it's usually a car it's way smaller than the car
I drive. So I get Channon's feeling of being in
a car that she's not used to driving, and I
it takes me like, as you're pulling out of the
rental car lot, they have like these little things you
got to go over the spikes and that says do
not be over and stuff listen, and then you gotta

(02:56:02):
go to the little booth and let the guy get
you out.

Speaker 1 (02:56:04):
And I'll be driving in Chelsea's like you're not paying attention.
I go, I'm trying to figure out what this pars
got going on? You know what I mean?

Speaker 9 (02:56:11):
The car play like want do all the things that
are are creature comforts.

Speaker 16 (02:56:15):
I wanted a car in New York. Right, I'm in
New York. This a couple of years ago. Get a car.
They say, yeah, just go grab one from like the
second row. I was like anyone, it was like yeah,
the keys inside.

Speaker 1 (02:56:27):
I'm all right, man.

Speaker 16 (02:56:28):
So I'm looking at a brand new charger. I'm like, oh,
this is the second this charger got in.

Speaker 1 (02:56:33):
The charger started.

Speaker 16 (02:56:34):
I'm sitting there, I'm thinking, like, somebody's gonna come. I'll
wait there for about twenty minutes. I'm like, okay, nobody's coming.
I'm just about to pull out, pull out of a lot,
and the spikes are up.

Speaker 1 (02:56:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 16 (02:56:43):
Now the spikes are like in reverse in my direction.
So they're up, but like this quote unquote smooth side
is in my direction and they're like curved a little bit.

Speaker 1 (02:56:51):
So I'm like, it's not gonna bust the tires. But
I said, I flew over that tail they run offside,
like what is And then we all just looked at
the car and they were like, are you good.

Speaker 7 (02:57:03):
I've wanted to so bad go rent a car and
pay for the insurance because I never pay for the
insurance when I go. I always just put it on
my insurance, assuming that my car insurance will pick it up.

Speaker 1 (02:57:14):
Who knows. But I want to do it and just
destroy it. I want to go and drive it like
I stole it.

Speaker 44 (02:57:21):
Man.

Speaker 1 (02:57:21):
You know, what's up? Squirrel? Squirrel? Squirrels?

Speaker 23 (02:57:25):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (02:57:26):
Where?

Speaker 17 (02:57:26):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (02:57:27):
What's going on?

Speaker 50 (02:57:29):
Right out right here?

Speaker 43 (02:57:30):
On Lojoe Morrison? When I was working a country I've
ben in Berkeley. I'm thirteen miles Greenfield. This old lady
I was doing my dang busting. This old lady drove
through the building and hit squirrel, actually right up the building. Yeah, yeah, Country,
I've been on Greenfield.

Speaker 2 (02:57:46):
Yeah, you're get to check out.

Speaker 3 (02:57:48):
Yeah, I worked here for years. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:57:50):
Did you make money out of that deal?

Speaker 3 (02:57:51):
Did you?

Speaker 1 (02:57:52):
Sue?

Speaker 50 (02:57:53):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:57:53):
I didn't see. I wasn't hurt that bad.

Speaker 43 (02:57:55):
I kind of hurt my foot a little bit, but
they were so good to me, and and the lady
was crying in hercense, and I did you?

Speaker 3 (02:58:03):
I cult him?

Speaker 1 (02:58:04):
But yeah, what a guy? Vinnie? What's up? Vinnie?

Speaker 3 (02:58:11):
Hey?

Speaker 12 (02:58:12):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (02:58:12):
Mojoe?

Speaker 3 (02:58:13):
American Afro Americans going on?

Speaker 1 (02:58:15):
What's happening? What did you say?

Speaker 3 (02:58:18):
All American Afro Americans?

Speaker 1 (02:58:19):
I like it all right, shout out, we gotta we
gotta have a shout out for that somehow. What's going on?
Oh man?

Speaker 35 (02:58:27):
When I was sixteen, right, I just pulled out this
place to get a little pizza because the only way
to work. And I pulled out and a guy pulled
in front of me cut me off. So I went
back around and cut him off. So he came up
and hit me, and by the back of my car,
I did a three hit A heel hit a house
and I heard the kids in the house say, I

(02:58:57):
jumped right out.

Speaker 3 (02:58:57):
I was like, I was so out of it.

Speaker 50 (02:59:00):
I jumped out in front of my car and try
to push you off the heel and I drove away.

Speaker 1 (02:59:05):
A God, this is nuts. Vinnie, Vinnie, Vannie Vinnie.

Speaker 9 (02:59:09):
Couldn't be over no bad intentions.

Speaker 1 (02:59:14):
What's up?

Speaker 2 (02:59:15):
Sam?

Speaker 6 (02:59:15):
I Hey, first time caller?

Speaker 2 (02:59:18):
Hey Sam?

Speaker 3 (02:59:22):
Okay.

Speaker 20 (02:59:22):
So basically I was driving like late at night, like
come back from a party and I think Minneapolis.

Speaker 6 (02:59:28):
I was in a rental car and the brakes.

Speaker 38 (02:59:31):
Like did not work at all, like just suddenly, I
had no idea why, and I dreamt I drove like.

Speaker 6 (02:59:38):
Right through the wall of a building.

Speaker 3 (02:59:40):
Oh, it was like freaky.

Speaker 1 (02:59:41):
What we think God was like late at night and
nobody got hurt.

Speaker 7 (02:59:43):
What would you do if you were in a car
and you couldn't get the thing to stop? Would you
just like pull the emergency brake or I have literally
no idea, or try to hit something.

Speaker 1 (02:59:52):
As soft as possible?

Speaker 3 (02:59:54):
What did you say the moment?

Speaker 1 (02:59:56):
Yeah, I don't know what you do. I think you'd
almost have to drive on off the road like and
hope that you're.

Speaker 3 (03:00:02):
Like it's like one of those metal things at the side, Yeah,
the road highway.

Speaker 7 (03:00:07):
Well, you know what it's like, you drove through a building,
for God's sake. That's amazing, that's crazy. Yeah, all right,
well don't trust chance. This is why Brian, Yeah, this
is why Brian Moran only let you have select vehicles.

Speaker 1 (03:00:23):
He realizes she wants a big what is it, a
GMC yukon so bad and he says he says, no way,
because he knows that the way that she drives, this
car that she drives, which is probably what half the
size or maybe a little lesson. Yeah, give it to her.

Speaker 3 (03:00:39):
Man.

Speaker 7 (03:00:40):
The marketing with that crash will make up for the
collision shot cav wound. You want to shout out before second,
I want to shout out two people.

Speaker 16 (03:00:47):
So first, my man Gregory, he is outstanding usher at
Little Caesars Arena. Yeah, shout out Gregory. His daughter, Jillian
Luwan rain the bail three times. She just beat breast cancer.
It's incredible, Julia Luwan. Love you and also keeping it
in the Pistons family. There's a young kid by the
name of Javier. He is the oldest of five. His mom, miRNA,

(03:01:11):
wanted to shout him out. He and his choir are
singing the national anthem tonight and she just wants you
to notice.

Speaker 1 (03:01:17):
She loves you.

Speaker 16 (03:01:18):
She's proud of the young man that you are, and
she can't wait to hear all about it. So shout
out to you. Howvey, good luck to you from your mama.
Could I ask you to shout some people out at
the game?

Speaker 1 (03:01:28):
Is it okay? If you shout some people out of
the game, I might be able to I would like you.

Speaker 7 (03:01:34):
Last name is Hurts. It's a really nice guy. His
first name is Richard. He goes by Dick. If you
could just shout him out.

Speaker 9 (03:01:43):
Oh wait, I have somebody whose birthday is too.

Speaker 1 (03:01:47):
What's name?

Speaker 10 (03:01:48):
No, it's a girl. Her first name is Tess. Her
last tickles tickles. Yeah, tickles.

Speaker 1 (03:01:57):
I don't know. I thought just.

Speaker 5 (03:02:03):
That it's the second date update Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (03:02:12):
All right, second date update. Why are you not getting
a call back after you went on a date? Kira
is not getting a call back? Where did you guys
meet Kira?

Speaker 9 (03:02:20):
We were at my friend's wedding like a couple of
weeks ago.

Speaker 7 (03:02:23):
And you guys went out on a date after the wedding, right,
So this wasn't the wedding as a date that you.

Speaker 1 (03:02:28):
Guys went to.

Speaker 9 (03:02:30):
No, that was just like our first meeting.

Speaker 1 (03:02:32):
Okay, and what did you guys do?

Speaker 9 (03:02:35):
So we went to like this hookah lounge?

Speaker 1 (03:02:37):
Oh do you like hukah? Do you like doing that?

Speaker 22 (03:02:41):
I do?

Speaker 9 (03:02:41):
I think it's fun. I mean it's not something I
typically do, but I was.

Speaker 1 (03:02:44):
Like, Okay, I'll do it.

Speaker 7 (03:02:46):
I've had a bunch of guy friends that were like, hey,
you want to do hookah with me? I've never done
it before. I have to try it, Kira. So what
happened on this date that would make you think that
why is he not calling me back?

Speaker 1 (03:02:57):
Or nothing?

Speaker 25 (03:02:57):
I mean that's what I Yeah, that's what I like
don't get because we were like the conversation was like flowing.

Speaker 9 (03:03:04):
There was no like dead air. I mean we were
both laughing, you know, like he wouldn't touch my leg
like it was I mean, it was good.

Speaker 7 (03:03:13):
All Right, We're gonna find out what's going on. Steven's
on the phone with us right now, Kira, say hi
to Steven.

Speaker 1 (03:03:19):
Hey, Stephen, Hello, Steven. What's happening? What's going on? Buddy?
You're doing all right?

Speaker 3 (03:03:27):
Yeah, I'm all right.

Speaker 7 (03:03:29):
Yeah, Kira seems like a great person. Actually, we saw
her profile. Lydia gives us your guys' profile, so we
get a chance to see you. You guys look like
a cute couple. Is there something wrong or is there
a chance that there could be another date between the
two of you guys?

Speaker 3 (03:03:48):
Yeah, I don't think so. Yeah, I don't think so.
Why is that? I don't know, it's it's uh, I
just don't think she's ready.

Speaker 1 (03:04:00):
Why do you say that she's not ready?

Speaker 3 (03:04:04):
Well, I mean mostly, I mean she's she's not even divorced.
She just filed for divorce. She's still married.

Speaker 1 (03:04:11):
How long ago did you file for divorce? Kia?

Speaker 9 (03:04:14):
Like two months ago.

Speaker 25 (03:04:15):
But here's the thing, I feel like when you file
though it's been over for a long time, Like it's
not like it's been over for a while, Like, yes,
you know, I just filed, but you know it it's
been gone for a while.

Speaker 7 (03:04:30):
What makes you Besides the fact that she's two months
since filing for divorce and is not officially divorced, was
there anything else that indicated that she's not over her
past relationship?

Speaker 2 (03:04:43):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (03:04:44):
Absolutely, I mean pretty much the whole entire night all
did was talk crap about the guy.

Speaker 9 (03:04:49):
I don't know how I don't feel like.

Speaker 25 (03:04:54):
I mean, that's like all I've known for forever, and
I kind of was like saying it to be like, okay,
I don't want to do this.

Speaker 1 (03:05:01):
How long were you married?

Speaker 2 (03:05:05):
Eight years?

Speaker 25 (03:05:06):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (03:05:06):
Okay?

Speaker 7 (03:05:07):
So I don't not necessarily know even you know, everybody
knows that somebody's acts could be a jerk or not,
but I don't. I think when you go into it
and you're like this person did this and this and this,
nobody wants to hear about another person's relationship.

Speaker 9 (03:05:22):
That's stuff you talk to your girlfriends.

Speaker 16 (03:05:23):
And it's her first date. I'm there trying to get
to know you. Yeahs, so you get to know me
and not.

Speaker 7 (03:05:28):
Know everything else, and he may be a total you know, jerk,
not you Stephen, but your acts. But you don't know,
and you're going, oh my god, she's a man hater,
you know what I mean? Absolutely, did it come across
as that? Okay, yeah, somewhat.

Speaker 3 (03:05:45):
I mean, you know, she just bashed the poor guy.

Speaker 5 (03:05:48):
I mean, I don't know the guy.

Speaker 3 (03:05:49):
I don't know what he did. I don't know what
he's doing. But I mean, she just bashed the guy
our whole entire date. So it seems like there's still
something there a little bit, all right.

Speaker 1 (03:05:58):
I want to ask this question and maybe there's a
way to bring this back and redeem this relationship that
you guys have. I want to know if other people
have had this where you've been out on a date
and the date started talking crap about their ex and
it kind of turned you off. If that happened, I
want to know what your thoughts are on these guys,

(03:06:20):
Kira and Steven, if this one sounds that bad. Eight
four to four Mojo Live eight four four sixty six
five six five four eight, or you can text nine
five to five zero zero Channon. When you and Wes
first got together and started dating. Did you guys even
bring up your exes or did did that come up
at all?

Speaker 10 (03:06:37):
I mean eventually, but that definitely wasn't something that we
focused on like right off the bat, you know, like
obviously we wanted to share our stories about like why
we're why we got divorced and stuff like that, but
there it wasn't like that's not discussion, right, thank you?

Speaker 7 (03:06:55):
Yeah, Because if somebody is talking NonStop about their ACX,
I'm either thinking one of two things, either they hate
that person or they still love that person.

Speaker 10 (03:07:04):
But I had questions for him and he had questions
for me, So those discussions happened, But it wasn't him
just like bashing his ex wife.

Speaker 1 (03:07:11):
You know, on our second you're not over to that
person if they still on the tipio.

Speaker 9 (03:07:14):
Tongue, not even that.

Speaker 10 (03:07:15):
But to me, it's that shows somebody's character too, of
how they speak, even if you were so wronged, but
how you speak about somebody, like as you step away
from that situation and.

Speaker 9 (03:07:26):
Move forward, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (03:07:28):
I don't know how you don't still talk about somebody
if you've only been filed for two months, that's so fresh.

Speaker 1 (03:07:36):
What's up? Chelsea. Hi, Hi, how you We're good? Say
hello to Kia and Steven.

Speaker 19 (03:07:43):
Hi, Kia and Steven. So I will say, I don't
know if it's the same for every situation, but I
got divorced a few years ago and they told us
the State of Michigan has like a weight period of
six months from when you file divorce to when they'll
finalize it. So like I filed in October and they

(03:08:04):
didn't finalize it until May of next year.

Speaker 1 (03:08:07):
So it's going to be a process still for her.

Speaker 20 (03:08:10):
Right, they do it so in.

Speaker 19 (03:08:11):
Case you change your mind, but like, if you're already filing,
why are you going to change your mind at that point?

Speaker 1 (03:08:16):
Yeah, I went it was.

Speaker 9 (03:08:17):
Over a long time ago, which, as I was kind
of saying.

Speaker 1 (03:08:20):
I wonder how many people, yeah exactly, are already engaged
before they even get divorced, Like that would be an
interesting one to see how many people still haven't gotten
the final stamp of things from the court, but then
they're engaged already and getting ready to go get married
again because they're you know, processes so long. What's up, Amanda? Hi?

Speaker 23 (03:08:41):
Hi, how are you guys?

Speaker 1 (03:08:42):
We're good? What's going on?

Speaker 30 (03:08:45):
I truly believe that she she's probably over him, and
she's probably been way over him. But just my personal opinion,
because if she talks about him like that, I think
she might, you know, and respectfully, I mean, this might
need therapy just to help move on. So she's not
at the point where she's asking him and talking about him.
She probably went through her own stuff on no judgment, yep,
but I think she just might need that to kind

(03:09:06):
of help before you know, she's she's truly ready maybe
to date.

Speaker 7 (03:09:10):
That's a personal thing, but I mean, I agree that
is definitely good to go to therapy. Voice this guys, Uh,
we'll call you initial C.

Speaker 1 (03:09:19):
What's up? See?

Speaker 3 (03:09:21):
What's up?

Speaker 37 (03:09:22):
Mojo?

Speaker 3 (03:09:22):
Hi?

Speaker 1 (03:09:23):
You're being voices guised? Why are you being voice disguised?

Speaker 21 (03:09:26):
Ah?

Speaker 34 (03:09:27):
I just want to man, you know, Okay, Well, I'm
a guy, but I had a similar situation.

Speaker 9 (03:09:34):
I'll make this short.

Speaker 2 (03:09:35):
I went on a date with this girl.

Speaker 34 (03:09:39):
Her husband had passed away five years prior, and basically
that's all the conversation ended up about.

Speaker 9 (03:09:47):
But this is kind of different because.

Speaker 34 (03:09:49):
This is like I'll never fill this guy's shoes type
thing not and this girl saying, well, this.

Speaker 14 (03:09:55):
Is the warning of what I don't want.

Speaker 6 (03:09:58):
You to do.

Speaker 1 (03:09:59):
Interesting, So she talked talked about her dead husband the
entire time.

Speaker 34 (03:10:03):
Yeah, the entire time, and then she got mad at
me because it's like, I want to talk about us.

Speaker 2 (03:10:08):
I'm sympathetic, but yeah, five years later on.

Speaker 1 (03:10:14):
A question for you initial c did you guys have
sex at the end of that day.

Speaker 27 (03:10:19):
No.

Speaker 34 (03:10:19):
She took me home and I made her paper off
the date. Wow, hey, we're out here, Kevin. I ain't
being no one's playing meal.

Speaker 9 (03:10:32):
Oh man, if you want to be treated like a woman.

Speaker 14 (03:10:36):
By a gentleman, I will do that.

Speaker 1 (03:10:38):
But that wasn't that wasn't the case of that mine.

Speaker 7 (03:10:41):
You heard too much stories about the dead husband. Honestly,
at that point I'd feel sorry for her. I'd have
to pay for the date and make sure that she
was feeling okay. What's up, Amy, Good morning, Good morning,
what's up.

Speaker 23 (03:10:53):
So I'm in the same situation as Kira. My marriage
has been over for a few years. He filed back
in July, but I asked to file civilly, so like
it's been mutual. But I get it, how like coming
across where you know, like he thinks there's still dealings

(03:11:14):
there but like if it was worth fixing, it would
have been fixed or it would have been like the
little things would have been worked out before.

Speaker 3 (03:11:22):
Been over for years.

Speaker 1 (03:11:25):
Have you been on any dates since the filing?

Speaker 6 (03:11:28):
Yeah?

Speaker 20 (03:11:28):
Yeah I have.

Speaker 23 (03:11:29):
And like the other thing is like I knew I
had to work on myself too, because there was a
lot of like belittling and stuff that was getting done,
and and so like finding yourself before really trying to
find that person is really what you really need to
be doing. Like I'm still trying to date, but at
the same point in time, like the dating pool does suck, Yeah,

(03:11:52):
either just out of there to get get laid.

Speaker 1 (03:11:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (03:11:55):
Man, well I'm sorry to hear that. Although can I
ask you a question? Did have you had sex since
you're filing?

Speaker 1 (03:12:04):
I have and question? How weird was it to have
sex with a guy that wasn't your ex husband.

Speaker 23 (03:12:12):
Since that's been done for like four or five years
and it was a chore to get that? I mean,
it wasn't not like it was was it good?

Speaker 21 (03:12:20):
Though?

Speaker 1 (03:12:21):
It was it nice being with somebody else though?

Speaker 13 (03:12:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 23 (03:12:25):
Yeah, I mean I still talk to that person, we
still see each.

Speaker 1 (03:12:27):
Other off and on, but like it it's your body. Yeah,
that's good. Well good yea. The easiest way to get
over someone is to get under someone, isn't that all right? Yes?

Speaker 6 (03:12:39):
But no?

Speaker 1 (03:12:40):
Okay, all right, well you be good, Amy, I will
second date update.

Speaker 5 (03:12:44):
This is a hole with a dirty of a thirty
fro back fro da, Second date update and more are
the roses.
