Speaker 1 (00:00):
Our friends from Planet Fitness are in studio. Do they
We got headphones. Everybody got headphones here. Uh, your mic
is not even on.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What are you talking about? Do you hear me? I
got you now the way here? So I got the headphones.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
You look like Mickey Mouse with your headphones, Like I mean,
it is the season. Did Jay Tower send those up
from Jays that he's doing right now? The Mickey Mouse
ears or the headphones? We got our own Walt Disney
in here right now. Our friend Mary from Planet Fitness
is in here with us in the studio, and our
great friend Brian Reef also hanging out here, and all

(00:38):
the great people from Planet Fitness we love so much.

Speaker 2 (00:40):
Hi Mary, how you doing?

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Hey?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
Good morning, I'm good.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
How are you good? Happy holidays to you? You know,
I hope you had a good Thanksgiving?

Speaker 2 (00:48):
Was it? Was it fun to hang with the family
and everybody.

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Yeah, we had a great time. We did the turkey trot,
We went downtown for a little bit. It was a
lot of fun.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
How about you doing it? Was awesome? Same situation we
went down for the game. Uh done.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
The funny thing was I did go over to Planet
on Wednesday because we were off on Wednesday, so I
got to work out in so that I could eat
just even more.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
Oh my gosh. And I haven't been back since. And
I'm not going to lie to you.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
I feel guilty, But I don't feel guilty because I
you know, I got obviously, you know, great membership with
a great you know deal and stuff like that. But
I feel like at this time of the year, it's
fun to go in just to see how many people
are guilty over the food that they eat. Yeah, that
happens a lot, right, I mean, we're all just kind
of trying to get it get it going.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
And I'm going to eat even more over the next
couple of weeks. So I got to get in.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
And I love this time of the year for the
fact that friends of the Mojo in the Morning show,
like yourselves, will help us with our breaking and entering
Christmas wish And this week has been amazing with the
wishes that we started off the year with, and we
are here to gather your money.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I don't think that. I hope you didn't think it
was going to show up empty handed. No, no, it
was got something for you.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Listen.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I grew up Catholic and my favorite was the homilies
that the priest did where they would beg you for
the money, yeah, and looking at my dad's face and
how he'd go, I hate dad, you know, but I'm
going to be like that priest.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
Please give us the money. We would love to got it.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
I don't know if you can see this, but we
brought with us ten thousand dollars a big check.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
And she's holding an actual big check.

Speaker 1 (02:27):
That is, by the way, that is the best donation
that anybody could ever make to us, is to give
us ten thousand dollars and to also give us all
the great partnership that you guys do every single year
at Planet.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
We love you guys so much for that. Wow.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
We love what you do with this money and keep
on doing it.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
We're glad we can.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Help you realize and people don't understand sometimes, like because
we'll you know, when we do wishes and things, we'll
get a lot of things donated. But then we also
will write checks to the families. But that ten thousand
dollars is going to help multiple families out because we
are the best at budgeting to make sure that everybody
that sends a letter and at least gets some kind

(03:07):
of a response. So that's huge. Thank you again, Thank
you guys. We appreciate it. Uh Mary, and is Brian
just quiet over.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
There, He's just observing.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
This is weird that I'm not because I'm not in
the studio with these guys this morning. I'm actually in
another studio right now. Brian, I want you to know this.
The money that we've raised from selling that bourbon too,
that is part of obviously, you know, a big part
of this whole thing. Last week I went over to
Louis the Brass Mug and last week had the best

(03:42):
response ever from any listener, a listener that came out
and said, I listened to the wishes and I don't drink.
I'm a sober but I'm buying. I'm buying. And they're
not sober because they have to be sober. They're sober
because they just don't like alcohol. And they bought four
bottles of bourbon as gifts to give to people's VideA.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
That's awesome.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
So I was talking to Andy and Louis yesterday and
we have sold out the one hundred bottles.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Yeah, that amazing. So it would have been ten thousand regardless.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
So thank you guys. So much, buddy. I appreciate you
for that. And look at this guy. By the way,
look at your beautiful face. I normally see you up
close and personal. On the screen, you look even more beautiful, Brian,
you look better not in person.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Brian.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
Do you know do you know how they say that
the that a camera puts weight on people? What do
you got playing in our Planet Fitness studio? The camera
takes weight off of people. This is this is unbelievable.
I love you guys so much. Thank you Mary, thank
you Brian, thank you Alicia. We love you guys so
much for all the help that we get from breaking
an entering Christmas wish and Planet Fitness likewise, Merry Christmas,

(04:51):
Merry Christmas to you guys.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
