Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojo in the Morning, Shannon and keV and myself,
Mojo and Lydia Bianca and Zach need to give Anna,
the newest member of the show, a little lesson. It's
a lesson in don't read reddit threads.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Oh, I didn't mean to. So I was out on
the run and somebody had emailed me asking me for
a bio, which I had on my computer which was
at home. But I was like, oh, I know, a
couple of people just wrote an article on me when
I got this job. So I was like, let me
just look it up really quick because it had my
bio in it. Well when I when I looked it up,
(00:36):
Google not only showed me that, but it showed me
a million other mean things that people were saying about
me on the internet, one of them being a whole
Reddit thread dedicated to the hatred of Anna.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Rob not the Ana.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
Yeah, which I shouldn't have even opened. I mean, we
get negative comments all the time, but one of the
comments bothered me a lot, and it was somebody who
allegedly went to high school with me, and their comment
was just like, grew up with her, went to high
school with her, never liked her, and then people under
it are like, why what was she like in high school?
(01:13):
Blah blahlah blah blah. First off, I don't think I
was a mean person in high school. I know I
wasn't a mean person in high school. But I also
know that I wasn't a happy person in high school.
I did not like myself in high school. I didn't
know anything about myself. I didn't know who I was
or what I wanted to be. I don't think I
finally learned who I was until I graduated college. So
(01:37):
seeing that comment was just like irritating, because I feel
like you can't can you judge someone off how they
were in high school?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
Well, if that's all they knew about, like knew that's
when they knew you. I guess that's the only way
that you know they can judge you.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
But my view, I wasn't like a mean person in
high school. I know that for sure.
Speaker 5 (01:55):
I was.
Speaker 2 (01:56):
It also closed the prom queen I was like I was,
I had friends. So I'm just sitting here like, what
the heck.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
I don't know that I've ever even been on Reddit,
but it blows my mind that somebody was like, you
know what, I'm going to do today.
Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, I am going.
Speaker 4 (02:08):
To take time out of my day m hm to
write to create a reddit. I don't know when you
say thread, blog board, whatever about Anna and that's.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Hysory loves Company and everyone who doesn't like me wants
to comment on it about how they don't like me
and why they don't like me.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
I'm going to tell you that first off, reading anything
even just a general comment, when people start getting nasty
in comments, and I know, I know, you know, there's
we got. We got some nasty sometimes commenters on some
of our stuff that love to get I think it's wonderful.
First off, thank you for helping our algorithm. But also
(02:46):
I'll also thank you that with this. If you're somebody
that went to high school with Anna and you said
I didn't like her in high school, Anna, you should
write her back and say I didn't like myself in
high school either, Thank you, Anna, Rob and post it
on there, because honestly, those are the ones that get
more attention and likes. But wood He from the Woody Show,
our iHeartRadio friend and brother in radio. Wood He goes
(03:11):
on he. First off, he does a segment on his show,
and I think it's called Reddit wood he's Reddit read
or whatever, and he reads his negative comments, but he
also comments on every one of them that he that
he does, and I say to him, why do you
waste the time doing it? I think his wife also
wonders why he's wasting the time. He loves it, like
he actually enjoys the people that have the hatred.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
To me, it's just a waste of time. I don't
know were.
Speaker 6 (03:37):
They all like, because you know, people never are who
they truly are, Like they'll never put Kevin or Win
the second and then put their comment.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
They're all fake user names, snow profile picture. No one
wants to say anything unless they're behind a screen or
a keyboard.
Speaker 1 (03:52):
I like when you have to like to make a
comment on say like the Free past or.
Speaker 3 (03:57):
I don't know, I'm trying to think.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
Some of these places you actually have to set up
your own personal account in your personal email, and I
like when people do that, Like I like when you
have to have that. So hold on, I actually do
have somebody here that is joining the show right now
with us who knows you from high school and knows
exactly the true Anna rob who by the way, we're
(04:22):
understanding that Anna's new Anna Rob look is something that
is only recent. It's not something that has been was
when she was a seventeen eighteen year old because Anna
Rob was a country superstar.
Speaker 3 (04:37):
Is that right? Jed Joe she used to be. I
swear to god, this is.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Jed by the way from Joe Showay, let me tell
the people the truth here.
Speaker 3 (04:47):
Okay, she used to be this yeehaw teat.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
Shot still is okay.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
She's not denying her identity.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Like school, you would wear that you were like uniform,
but like my senior pictures were in cowboy boots and
stuff like that. But that's how I grew up. I
still love to do all that stuff.
Speaker 1 (05:07):
But tell me about Anna Rob because there's somebody on
Reddit that that hates Anna Rob from high school? Really
was she had a hated type person. I heard she
was wonderful. She was universally liked amongst all friend groups.
And yeah, I mean we uh let me say this
because I don't want to paint her in a bad light.
Speaker 3 (05:26):
She looked at her a little bit.
Speaker 7 (05:28):
She used to, you know, sneaking out of mom and dads,
going to the basement parties where you do you poured
the punch into one single ball and then you just
drank it.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
Until party, and I think I have one life of
the party.
Speaker 1 (05:41):
I think a couple of times I've never seen a
picture of Anna rob that was not with how her
she currently looks.
Speaker 3 (05:49):
Does the carpet match the drake? What is Anna's true
hair color? Do we know? I would say it's more
brown blondish, right, Anna?
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah? My natural is like dirty blonde.
Speaker 3 (06:01):
Yeah? Did you guys date in high school?
Speaker 7 (06:03):
And now you want to know a funny story, Mojo,
I tried dating Anna several years ago, really, and she
put me.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
In the oh yeah, listen up. I tried to take
her out on a date.
Speaker 7 (06:13):
I want to say this was probably when I first
started working at Channel, like six years ago, seven years ago,
and she put me in the friend zone harder.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
Than you wouldn't believe, mom, like you DMC.
Speaker 7 (06:23):
And then I started texting her and then I asked
her if she wanted to hang out and She's like no, Well,
and at that time, Anna, to be fair, you were
just getting out of her relationships.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
Also, did you invite her to go get like Korean
barbecue or something?
Speaker 7 (06:34):
I don't know, I might have probably break up, right,
So it was probably a bad timing thing too, but
then she put me in the friends and I'm like, okay,
I can't.
Speaker 2 (06:44):
Dad would pick me and my friends up from the
bar when we were drunk.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
During that time, I would how did you meet Anna? Anna?
Speaker 7 (06:52):
So like we all are kind of like in the
same that same area of like Clarkson, White Lake Water
for Catholic school kids. Catholic school kids. So she went
to Lakes I want to know her and prep and
then she and I we ended up. I forget how
it came to fruition, but I used to play baseball,
like travel baseball with a lot of guys that went
to her high school. Okay, so then we would do
like parties and stuff in the summertime, and that's how
(07:13):
everything kind of came back.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
I met.
Speaker 3 (07:16):
Yeah, that's true. So so this is interesting.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
So Anna explored for those that are just tuning in
right now, explored a Reddit thread that talked about Anna being,
you know, not the nice person in high school. We're
hearing that that's a bunch of bs. So I wonder
who those people are if they are somebody that uh
is a like a fellow TikTok influencer that doesn't want
you to have you know, the follows or something I like.
(07:40):
I always wonder when people do that, like like, here's
the thing that I've said to a couple of times
when people have said, yeah, I saw this thread about
you where it's like this, and I'm like, you know what,
you asked them a question about who was my best friend,
you know, growing up from this age, this age, and
if they can't name it, they don't know it because
guess what, we were together every day or better yet,
if they don't have your phone number, then they don't
(08:02):
have a big enough issue with you. Yeah, you know, Yeah,
I'm reading right now, Kevin hatred threads right now.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Oh, keep them going. They're all girls that I like.
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Kevin can take the hate and respond to it. But
I'm the type of person where like I can't look
at it. It really does like bother me. You could
get a million nice comments and one mean one, and
I'm just.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
Like, God, the only opinion I care about is my
all good?
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Exactly?
Speaker 1 (08:32):
Can I tell you something if if and Tony and
I talk about this all the time with things, if
the person that gives you hatred is not a person
that you would seek advice from it ain't worth it.
So there's there's the people that are in my life
that I would ask, hey, what are your thoughts are?
And if they were the people that I actually sought
(08:53):
out for something and they said something, I would go
all right, let me take a listen to this. But
if it's somebody that I don't even used a second
of my time with asking them their advice, and I
don't even want to.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Hear it, that's good advice?
Speaker 1 (09:06):
Uh eight four four Mojo Live eight four four six
six five six five four eight is our telephone number.
Speaker 6 (09:11):
Our text is nine five five zero zero. Are we
allowed to post any of these cowboy blue pictures?
Speaker 3 (09:17):
Please have some? I don't know. I we never laughed out.
Speaker 2 (09:23):
I'll give one to Actually today's my day to post.
Maybe that's what I'll try.
Speaker 1 (09:26):
Here's a funny thing about Anna. I mentioned how there's
this cowboy bootstore that downtown. Was it called and Anna
and Cava? Who would open that?
Speaker 5 (09:36):
And?
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Oh that's horrible.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Anna's secretly buying stuff stocks Anna, it's probably Anna storage.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Are you?
Speaker 3 (09:45):
Is that where you go when you leave the studio?
Speaker 8 (09:47):
No?
Speaker 2 (09:47):
No, no, no, but iberry which are nice?
Speaker 6 (09:50):
Cowboy have you ever dipped before?
Speaker 3 (09:54):
Anna? What does that mean?
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I tried it once and threw up. I didn't know
if I spit it out really fast because it made
me feel sick.
Speaker 3 (10:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (10:03):
Look, wouldn't you love to see I love when uh
you know, I love shotgun girls, like girls that love
to shoot and fire and clay pigeons because well Chelsea's
you know, got her CPL and all that like that.
There's something hot about that hunting wise, I would love
to see Anna and other women dipping like or doing
(10:23):
sins kill.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
No, you guys, do you do zins at all?
Speaker 2 (10:27):
I do not, but I do know girls that do.
Speaker 3 (10:30):
It's just thing I don't want. You want to baccold tongue.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
I just want to see them just than cigarettes, like
you know, like you know, like a little little spit
going on.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
So, oh my god, Anna, she showed me. Let's see
show the camera the camera. Is that a real background?
Speaker 5 (10:53):
Like?
Speaker 6 (10:53):
Is that a real background? She looks like a darling.
I was like Britney Snow a little bit from the
honey Lives.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
We actually have we had Anna, you know, some of
her best friends growing up and uh that have called
me up and told me she was a hell of
a soccer and basketball player champion, and we found out
from her grandfather. We found out from Pops that she's
want to state championship or two.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
So that's pretty that's pretty cool.
Speaker 2 (11:23):
What's all this in the woods? Kevin?
Speaker 3 (11:26):
I mean, what is that those weeds back there?
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Yeah, I guess I don't know.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
You'll know what you're around.
Speaker 6 (11:31):
That's that's white lake.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
That's white lace, all right, you know what they call it?
White lake? Tell me what Anna, Rob? So, I I
got to.
Speaker 1 (11:46):
Tell you that Anna, you are a great addition to
this radio show and I love you for that. And
we're going to teach you a little bit about not caring.
It's gonna take you some time. But after after a while,
I finally got into a point where she's now sticking
up for herself.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
Look at that. She only took seventeen years.
Speaker 1 (12:04):
She's people half off now, it's amazing. What's up, John?
Speaker 3 (12:07):
How you doing good?
Speaker 5 (12:09):
How's it going on?
Speaker 9 (12:10):
Long time?
Speaker 5 (12:11):
Hey?
Speaker 3 (12:12):
First time? Long time? First time?
Speaker 9 (12:13):
Or no, no, first time I called you?
Speaker 3 (12:15):
Guys?
Speaker 9 (12:15):
Did I put my mom on the Five Lives?
Speaker 3 (12:18):
Tell my mom? Oh personally about the order? Nice to
have you back, buddy. What's going on.
Speaker 9 (12:24):
I just wanted to say that, you know, there's a
million people in the world. You shouldn't care what other
people think. You should only be happy for who you are.
And uh, you know, you're great part of the show
and I like listening to you guys in the morning.
And she's a great, great addition, And who cares what
everyone else thinks? I have attached to you on me
with what's life without living? So you know you keep
doing you that's all that matters.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
That's wonderful.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
And John, don't you want to see her and some
cowboy boos?
Speaker 9 (12:51):
I mean no, and yes, I mean like.
Speaker 3 (12:56):
Just cowboy books.
Speaker 1 (12:57):
That's all you wanted to say, right, jingle ball yeahing
on stage an outfit change that's like, oh Anna, it'll
be jingle y'all. We need a little bit of that
country country aspect to the show when k P left.
Speaker 3 (13:12):
We need to have we need to have like Anna
rob with a little.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
Any square dancing places that you could go to and
do like a square dance to night.
Speaker 3 (13:20):
No, that'd be awesome, that'd be electric.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
Yeah, all right, Chad don't ever change.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
Chad is going to be in for the jingle.
Speaker 4 (13:35):
Ball, Joe, see my sweet Prince.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
Hold on Josh from North Carolina.
Speaker 1 (13:42):
Now just heard the reason why he's gonna love listening
to Mojo in the morning on the iHeartRadio app and
it's country Anna.
Speaker 3 (13:48):
What's going on? Josh?
Speaker 5 (13:50):
Hey, how's it going?
Speaker 8 (13:51):
Guys?
Speaker 7 (13:52):
First timeline time?
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Now you got yourself going to listen to Harry You
like this called Anna rob the country girl?
Speaker 5 (14:02):
Oh yeah, well, grown up in Carolina, I actually knew
quite a few girls that you know, choot the back
and all that, and I actually dated some of them,
so it kind of made a little bit easier. We
just share a spit cup, Sherricane, and you know, as
long as your breath smelled the same, everything was all right.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
You know, that's not a bad idea.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
You get a girl that does the same exact bad
habits that you do, then you don't have to worry
about what you look like.
Speaker 5 (14:24):
Right, that's a that's a good exactly about say, if
we both look like a fool, then we can both
love each other like a fool.
Speaker 3 (14:30):
Amen. She wasn't a cousin though, was she?
Speaker 9 (14:34):
No?
Speaker 5 (14:34):
No, not on that side.
Speaker 8 (14:37):
He give me a favorite say names mayonnaise, Manaise, all right.
Speaker 5 (14:50):
Have a great baby.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
We'll see you. Josh B.
