You're a doo doo hect.

Speaker 7 (00:43):
Morning and welcome to the Mojo on the Morning Show
Post jingle Ball edition, otherwise known as we are all
lacking sleep today.

Speaker 6 (00:54):
None of us are hungover though there's no boosts.

Speaker 8 (00:56):
There is not one single drink on this morning show.

Speaker 7 (00:59):
I felt like I was hanging out at an Amish wedding.
It was unbelievable.

Speaker 8 (01:05):
But I'm so tired. My throat hurts. No, I think
my throat hurts.

Speaker 9 (01:11):
Okay, I know we have a show member out today.
I think my throat hurts, honestly from screeping so much.

Speaker 7 (01:17):
I got into the car afterwards and I was like
like this, yeah, and Chelsea's.

Speaker 6 (01:21):
Like, you stay the f away from me right now.

Speaker 7 (01:24):
Because of we drove cav back, so we took him,
took him so we'd go home. And Kevin uh was
not well last night, and I'm gonna tell you it
reminded me so much of a few years back when
I ended up having COVID and couldn't do the show
and Joe had to come in with Shannon and host it.

Speaker 6 (01:40):
And I'm not gonna lie to you.

Speaker 7 (01:42):
I said, if you show up this morning, I'm going
to be so pissed at you because A I don't
want to get sick. B I don't want to get sick,
so no, and I also want him to get better.
It was fun, It was so much fun. How was
your virginy virginity being lost? Jingle ball last night? Your
first jingle ball out a rob.

Speaker 10 (02:00):
I feel like it was like how people describe their
wedding day.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
It just went by so fast.

Speaker 10 (02:07):
And I was looking back at my phone and I'm like,
I don't think I took any pictures with any of you.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
Like I was just we were doing so much.

Speaker 10 (02:15):
But it was awesome, And I learned so much watching
all of you interview and do your thing.

Speaker 7 (02:20):
So I learned watching you interview you. You did an
interview with what was jes and you were Actually I
loved how you were wrangling. Bianca was straining off course, yeah,
she was going off a little course there. She was
getting a little goofy like I tried to do, and
you pulled it right back into the lane that it
needed to be in. But can I say something, It

(02:42):
is like a wedding, and I'm gonna bring this up
non stop because they say at your wedding it goes
by fast, you don't realize the people that are even.

Speaker 6 (02:50):
There, and you don't eat. I'm gonna hurt on that.
We had no food. I had nothing at all.

Speaker 7 (02:57):
There was no backstage stuff and I'm gonna I'm gonna
talk about this coming up later this morning. I got
yelled at by the security at Little Caesar's Arena because
I tried to break into a food drink area. Oh my,
So okay, so let's talk just I guess to kind
of get things going. We had a jingle Ball last night.
There were amazing listeners that were there. I don't necessarily

(03:20):
think it was sold out, but I'm going to tell
you it was more than I thought we were going
to have because especially with the snow and the weather,
and that was the loudest jingle ball that I have
been to. The jingle Ball with Usher was sold out. Okay,
so we had Usher and Jelly roll. That show sold
out completely. You guys were lame asses at that jingle Ball,
but a lot probably had to do with the fact that,

(03:42):
you know, it was kind of a more mellow night
for the artists. Even Usher was doing kind of an
acoustic set this jingle Ball. I have not heard screaming
like I heard. I had no clue how big K
pop demon Hunters were until I started seeing literally moms
screaming and singing as long as loud as they possibly could,

(04:03):
and every single artist had their fandom there.

Speaker 6 (04:07):
I mean, it was.

Speaker 8 (04:08):
It was crazy.

Speaker 9 (04:09):
And then I mean, and then you close the show
with Nelly, who did all of the hits, who had
piro and fireworks and confetti, and it was it was
so great.

Speaker 8 (04:22):
That was the best end to a show.

Speaker 9 (04:24):
And look at we've had the Backstreet Boys before, and
y'all know how I feel about the Bastreet Boys.

Speaker 8 (04:28):
But last night was so fun.

Speaker 7 (04:30):
Okay, so tell me about the ending. So Nelly brought
all of us up on stage. You can actually see
there's there's you know, video and stuff. Although at one
of the videos that was posted by our iheard team
has no audio. I don't know why it was, but
you could see us coming up on stage with Nelly
and he had us up on stage. We you know,
hung out, danced, did all this crazy stuff and then

(04:51):
they shot off a bunch of confetti cannons, which was
like Shannon's dream come true.

Speaker 8 (04:56):
It makes me so happy.

Speaker 7 (04:58):
Joe from The Joe Show was doing snow Angels, yeah,
which was cool.

Speaker 6 (05:04):
But that was me shine Down No, so I'm not again.

Speaker 7 (05:09):
I'm not a big rocker, okay, like my form of
rock is a bond and Jovie you know, and Shine
Down was amazing. They made it like such a cool
night because they knew that there were a ton of
their fans that were there, and some of their fans
maybe were Nelly fans, but definitely not you know Rachel
Chinnairi or or you know, Zara Larson fans. And they

(05:33):
were basically talking about how their music is no different
than the other music and we all come together in
this and they were so good.

Speaker 11 (05:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
And when they did Second Chances, oh my god, everybody
knew that song.

Speaker 6 (05:44):
It was it was crazy. Oh god.

Speaker 9 (05:48):
I became a fan of Jesse Murph last night. I
did not know her music. She she was a sweetheart.
She's like this little petite, cute thing and she has
a trucker mouth unlike any other, which is so funny.

Speaker 8 (06:02):
But but she put on a great show, truck.

Speaker 7 (06:04):
Her mouth doing the ave Maria whatever.

Speaker 8 (06:09):
It was, that beautiful version.

Speaker 7 (06:11):
Of Yes, I want to start off with with something though,
I want to do talk about this. When we showed
up at the venue, I was caught off guard by
the stage to the iHeart team, that stage with the
stockings hung by the chimney with care and all of

(06:32):
our names were up there. That was one of the
coolest touches. And I don't know if the listeners even
caught that, if you didn't look at your videos or
and then zoom in on it. It had all of
us on there, Shannon and Anna cav and then it
had the Joe show EJ.

Speaker 8 (06:47):
I missed it until you pointed it.

Speaker 6 (06:48):
Out too, Shannon. I almost, I know.

Speaker 8 (06:51):
I was so excited.

Speaker 7 (06:52):
I was literally like such, you know, this is one
of those things where over the years you get a
chance to do some cool stuff and to know that
they recognize us. Our company does and doesn't do it
as Okay, it's an iHeart jingle Ball Tour. And have
it be just like the artists that are on the
tour's name out there, they actually put our stuff up there,
so that was pretty cool.

Speaker 9 (07:12):
You know who else we have to give a huge
shout out to is Frey a Sky Oh my god,
because she is just is she sixteen?

Speaker 6 (07:19):
She's sixteen years old?

Speaker 9 (07:20):
Yeah, so kind So just my stepdaughter is a huge,
huge fan of hers, and Freya took the time to
make to make a video for her and just she
just and there were a lot of people in the
audience who had signs that said I'm only here to
see Frey.

Speaker 6 (07:39):
Yeah and sweet.

Speaker 7 (07:41):
She invited all of us to come to her Filmore show,
which is going to be in February. So she's like, hey,
I want you guys to be part of this. Conan Gray,
same situation, Zach, you got to come in studio, Zach.
Zach saw this woman who was there and she was
crying because Conan was standing there watching Zara Larson perform
and she was calling and calling and calling, and you know,

(08:03):
you don't know what to do, Like you don't want
to like tell the artist, hey, go over this woman's
calling because he knows that they're calling it.

Speaker 6 (08:09):
And so Zach's like, I can't let this woman down.

Speaker 7 (08:12):
You walked up to him and he almost went in
the stands and the seeds till he was hugging her.

Speaker 12 (08:19):
Okay, the one thing I hate is when you can't
ignore fans if they're crying and he's there, was only
like five feet away, So I was like, Hey, is
there any way you can make this lady's day? He
was like, of course. I was like, that's amazing. Goes
in hugs or they get a picture. Then he immediately
leaves because he sees all the white girls coming and
get there.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
It was amazing.

Speaker 7 (08:38):
And shout out to josh Innis from our sister station.
I have never seen an individual have more fun at
a concert than that guy did. And I want to
say this, and I know it's going to ruin his
image and he might actually honestly have to leave Detroit
after this. In the rock world, he's the biggest Conan
Gray fan I've ever seen.

Speaker 8 (08:57):
He kept screaming.

Speaker 9 (09:02):
Graberry jack Man, knew every word, he had a choreographed
dance to it.

Speaker 8 (09:09):
It was so funny.

Speaker 7 (09:10):
My favorite moment from all of us on stage was
we were up on stage and we're going through and
saying hi to everybody, and you know, you kind of
have an idea of what you need to do on stage.
They even give you Q cards for a couple of things,
but some of the stuff they just go, hey, have fun,
just you know, make it, you know short, don't go
up there and go too crazy. And I had Zach

(09:30):
intro of the artist.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
And here's Zach's gonna intro the artist and he looks
at me and he goes, who is it? They went
like so wide. I didn't. I was like, I wasn't
expecting that, And that was a very cool.

Speaker 12 (09:45):
That was probably my favorite jingle Ball moment because I've
never gotten to talk.

Speaker 6 (09:55):
It was so fun. I was so in the moment.
I don't even know if I heard it. We gotta
get audio of that.

Speaker 7 (10:03):
I'm gonna ask the sound guys if they got audio
of that, because Zach was the greatest.

Speaker 6 (10:06):
Is like, and here's Zach with our next artist. Who
is it? Moch Hey.

Speaker 7 (10:15):

mistake of sleeping with his system. There's like eight million
of those movies.

Speaker 7 (10:59):

Speaker 14 (11:07):

him all night. That velvet jacket that he had, it
was so nice. He does not like, by the way,

(12:20):
man touching. You ever noticed that with Kevin? He's he's
a little against it. But one day I'm gonna actually
make it. I'm totally into it. I'm cuddling with anybody. Uh,
this is the back in the day. The fast, I'm
just gonna go through him, the fast and the furious. Uh,
Britney spears and justin coordinated and then of course you

Thirty Shannon with what's trending in the Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 8 (13:34):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 9 (13:35):
I hate to start the Dirty with this, but it
was national news yesterday. At least one person dead this
morning and another person wounded and in critical condition after
campus shooting at Kentucky State University. This happened yesterday afternoon.
A suspect is in custody now. This shooting took place

(13:56):
at a dorm on campus.

Speaker 19 (13:59):
This was not a mass shooting or a random incident
based on what I've been told, and the suspected shooter
is already in custody. That means that while this was scary,
there is no ongoing threat and I believe our families
are safe.

Speaker 8 (14:17):
I'm Governor of Kentucky. Right there.

Speaker 9 (14:19):
After finishing work on their movie The Naked Gun, Pamy
Anderson says that she and Lisa liam Neeson really were
a legit couple, an adorable couple by the.

Speaker 8 (14:28):
Way, for a short time.

Speaker 9 (14:30):
She swears it was not just a showmance for pr
for the movie.

Speaker 17 (14:35):
Well, I always was laughing when people thought, oh that's
a publicity stunt.

Speaker 8 (14:38):
Like a publicity stunt, This is real.

Speaker 17 (14:40):
We have real feelings, and so yeah, it's just been
incredible experience to have that kind of friendship.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
And now there's who knows.

Speaker 9 (14:49):
She said they spent a lot of time together at
Liam's upstate New York home, having quiet dinners, just time
in the garden, and though they had real feelings, the
romance didn't last. They went their separate way to focus
on work, but she says they do remain very, very
close friends and listen to this statistic. Americans shelled out
about two point six billion dollars this year on OnlyFans.

(15:11):
O Cities like Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Seattle, and Washington, d C.
Spent the most, so Detroit, Toledo, Grand Rapids. We were
not on the top of the list. But this report's
sparking a wave of debate because some people are saying,
what is happening to society?

Speaker 8 (15:29):
This is like social decay at its best.

Speaker 9 (15:32):
But others view it as part of changing norms around
digital intimacy and modern sex work economics, and for content
creators it is serious income. People are making six figures
upwards of on only fans.

Speaker 7 (15:48):
Time and move off of ticktok to show you where
the economy is and how bad the economy is. I
think that's one of the reasons. But gofund me also
released that they just have did their analysis of the past.

Speaker 6 (16:02):
Year and the food.

Speaker 7 (16:04):
For money for food, have to pay my rent, can't
turn on my heat, all those different phrases and go fundmes.

Speaker 6 (16:12):
It was a record.

Speaker 7 (16:15):
Think only fans, that's the same thing I think people
and it seems like everybody's door dashing. People are ubering.
I think that many people are looking for opportunities to
make money aside from the normal traditional quote unquote jobs.

Speaker 6 (16:29):
And yeah, and I'll tell you what.

Speaker 7 (16:33):
Having to wake up after only three hours of sleep
last night, I will show you, guys.

Speaker 6 (16:38):
Whatever you want if you want to, and I will
end up. I will do it. I think there's a
person in the world that would want it.

Speaker 7 (16:45):
I got asked last night by five people if I
would go up on stage and end the night taking
my shirt off like bigg Ashley, joe E, j cav
And then finally, last, but not least, what's the dude's
name that does our hand the microphones to us? There
a mer a merror, all of them. Will you take

(17:07):
your shirt off? I said, listen, I will do it
for a price.

Speaker 4 (17:10):

Speaker 7 (26:37):

to tell her that it's Mojo in the morning and
this is five lives.

Speaker 27 (26:42):

Speaker 25 (27:52):
Okay, Well, then I won't be there. I won't be
no part of it.

Speaker 31 (27:55):
Okay, I'm sorry, I know, mom, but I do like
the idea, and I honestly nobody needs to give you
back my two fifty so because I'm not losing that money.

Speaker 27 (28:09):

Speaker 7 (29:01):

on five Lives to tell your mom take she did.

Speaker 6 (29:17):
I was listening to the pain. I was listening to
the pain in your voice, like you were what you didn't?
It was got sad there for a second.

Speaker 4 (29:26):
So what did I move?

Speaker 27 (29:27):
I was about ready to hang up, is what I
was about, ready to do?

Speaker 26 (29:31):
You did?

Speaker 5 (29:32):
Mom?

Speaker 16 (29:33):
I was just like so hurt.

Speaker 25 (29:35):
I cannot believe that. It's like, what the hell did
I do wrong?

Speaker 6 (29:39):
Oh my god?

Speaker 7 (29:42):
Just so you know, the bride's mom and the daughter's
mom always wins.

Speaker 6 (29:51):
You win.

Speaker 6 (30:40):

Speaker 27 (30:42):
When I was getting so Mojo, I was so waiting.

Speaker 7 (30:45):
For you to get I actually thought about just hanging

Speaker 6 (30:49):
Just what happened up? My gosh, you guys are so bad.
It's Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
Sweet five lives to tell you, all right, it's Mojo
in the Morning. It's time now for a breaking and
entering Christmas wish. We go out live to Bianca, who
is out with our letter writer, who is somebody that
we know well.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
Her name is Nancy.

Speaker 7 (31:17):
Nancy Sovereign is a friend of the show, an FOS,
friend of Mojo in the Mornings too, and she was
granted a Christmas wish. Nancy, how long ago was that
that we granted a Christmas.

Speaker 6 (31:31):
Wish for you?

Speaker 20 (31:33):
Twenty nineteen, Man, I will never forget.

Speaker 7 (31:36):
Nancy is a person who gives so much to this community,
and she's got an absolute beautiful family. And one year
we decided for a finale one a year to give
the person who gives to all Christmas and you lost it.
You're you're normally not a person that balls crying, but
you bawled crying.

Speaker 35 (31:56):
Yeah, Ben, I was totally shocked. And you know you've
ever changed our Christmas Day.

Speaker 25 (32:01):
You're in our lives.

Speaker 8 (32:02):
I mean, we love you all, we love you, love
you so much.

Speaker 7 (32:05):
And this morning is an interesting one because this morning
on the show, we're granting a Christmas wish for a
sweet sixteen year old named Ava and for her family.
And you have kind of a full circle moment here
because Ava's mom was your guys's nurse for your daughter.

Speaker 25 (32:25):
Yep.

Speaker 18 (32:25):
She when Hope was a baby many minutes ago, Karen
was one of her night nurses at corwell what was
Beaumont back then, And I'll.

Speaker 35 (32:36):
Never forget the type of nurse she was. I mean,
she Hope had had a deflated lung and they didn't
know it and she codd and those nurses that night,
including Karen saved Hope's life.

Speaker 6 (32:48):
And tell everybody how old Hope is today.

Speaker 35 (32:51):
Hope is twenty nine and living her best life.

Speaker 8 (32:55):
I'm so feisty and beautiful and I love her so much.

Speaker 6 (32:58):
Well this night, she loves you, Shannon.

Speaker 7 (33:00):
This is this is kind of heartbreaking because this morning
we're granting a wish for Karen and for her daughter
and her daughter Ava. It's uh, it's been a tough
go for her and we're gonna with the help of you, Nancy,
and also with the help of our good friend from
the Detroit Lions, Brock right, along with his fiance Carly Johnson.

Speaker 6 (33:22):
Are they there with you too?

Speaker 21 (33:24):
Believe they're walking up right.

Speaker 6 (33:26):
Now, are they?

Speaker 36 (33:27):
Say?

Speaker 37 (33:27):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (33:27):
Okay, Broy, are you Brock?

Speaker 21 (33:30):
Nice to meet too. My name is We got Mojo
on phone.

Speaker 6 (33:34):

Speaker 7 (33:38):
You guys got such a beautiful thing going there, and
we're so happy for you and thanks for taking your time.
I know that this is tough during the season to
get away and do this, but we appreciate you guys
for doing this with us today.

Speaker 13 (33:51):
Oh yes, at least we can do. We're excited about it.

Speaker 7 (33:53):
Yeah, And and I'm assuming you're going straight from here
to practice, probably, aren't you.

Speaker 13 (33:59):
Yeah, that's right. Yeah, good thing. Allen Park is right
around the corner from here, so it makes it easy
commute for me.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
Perfect. All right.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
Will you guys stay back and you're going to be
part of what to me is going to be the
best thing that is going to happen during the holidays,
and that is helping out aave us family.

Speaker 6 (34:15):
Bianca, you want to walk up to the door.

Speaker 21 (34:18):
Yeah, So we're actually going to go to the back door.
So I'm going to have Yeah, me and Nancy. We
got a whole bunch of friends here, a lot of family. Yeah,
wonder Bryan from Planet Fitness out here with us as well.

Speaker 7 (34:29):
By the way, Brian, do you know Brian Reef donated
twenty thousand dollars ten thousand dollars from Planet Fitness and
then ten thousand dollars from our our bourbon that we sold.

Speaker 6 (34:43):
Oh my god, over at the Brass mod.

Speaker 4 (34:47):
I wanted to be so he asked me for some ch.

Speaker 6 (34:50):
Oh he did. Okay, this guy's is LF.

Speaker 8 (34:53):
You can watch this by book live.

Speaker 6 (34:57):
All right, guys, All.

Speaker 21 (34:58):

the rest of the family are getting the presents. Ready.
We got a whole squad here up, going to the back.
We got for breaking through the gates and everything today.

Speaker 6 (35:09):

Speaker 7 (35:12):
And the beauty of this is if you don't watch
this live, which you can, but you can also check
it out on our social Mojo in the Morning. Uh
in well have it on Instagram and Facebook.

Speaker 21 (35:23):
You I forgot one because I didn't plan accordingly. Reaching
the ball.

Speaker 28 (35:30):
All right, oh open think, be careful because there's.

Speaker 21 (35:34):
Good morning dog barking. The dog's gonna make us up.

Speaker 10 (35:42):
I'll Bianca is looking beautiful with her jingle ball makeup,
so yeah.

Speaker 21 (35:47):
I'd never to herding ball makeup off. So we're still
working with it. Hi, good morning, are you Karen? Are
you alas mom? Yes? Hey bye, I'm the on time
with Mojo in the Morning. I actually got Mojo on
the phone right now. Are you measuring the dad? Hi?
Good morning. We're gonna actually come in that house and fucks,
I got Mojo on the phone right now. You would
like to speak with you that? Okay?

Speaker 6 (36:08):
Sure?

Speaker 21 (36:09):
Yeah, all right, here you go.

Speaker 7 (36:11):
Oh Hey Karen, Hi, Karen, how are you?

Speaker 38 (36:15):
Hi?

Speaker 21 (36:15):
Sorry?

Speaker 6 (36:16):
Doctor Barker, No, no worries, Karen.

Speaker 5 (36:19):
Hi.

Speaker 7 (36:21):
Hi, It's Mojo in the Morning, and we do a
thing on our show. We've been doing it for so
long now, and it always brings us such full hearts.
We have a breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program that
received a letter about Ava and about you and about
your beautiful family. And I was wondering if the person
who wrote the letter could read it to you.

Speaker 32 (36:43):
Yeah, but you're Mojoe in the Morning.

Speaker 35 (36:46):
My name is Nancy Sovereign, and I would like to
nominate the Jebsinski family for your Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish.
This is a family that has shown imaginable strength, love,
encourage to for so many years, and now they are
in desperate need of comfort and support this Christmas. Their

(37:07):
sixteen year old daughter, Ava has been bravely battling brain
cancer and lymphalma since she was nine. After years of
treatments set back some moments of hope, she is now
in hospice care. What this family is caring is truly heartbreaking,
yet the way they continue to love and to support

(37:29):
each other is nothing.

Speaker 20 (37:30):
Short of beautiful.

Speaker 35 (37:32):
I have known Karen, Ava's mom for many years. As
she was my daughter Hope's nurse when she was a baby,
and I have always admired her kindness and dedication. Now
watching her pour that same love into her daughter as
she faces the unimaginable.

Speaker 20 (37:50):
Has been deeply moving.

Speaker 35 (37:52):
This family has faced more pain than anyone should, yet
they remain grateful and grounded in love and faith.

Speaker 6 (38:01):
This Christmas will be incredibly hard for them.

Speaker 35 (38:04):
I would give anything for the Jabzinskis to feel surrounded
by the warmth, generosity, and community they so deeply deserve.

Speaker 21 (38:14):
My hope is.

Speaker 35 (38:15):
That your team can help make this holiday just a
little more special, memorable, and peaceful for them. Thank you
for considering this nomination, and thank you for all you
do to bring light into family's darkest moments with gratitude.

Speaker 7 (38:31):
Nancy a beautiful letter and a beautiful person. I see, Nancy,
They're standing right by you, and I see Mitch there.

Speaker 22 (38:43):
Kaylen, we got to.

Speaker 6 (38:46):
Ka is there? How you doing?

Speaker 9 (38:49):
I did some creeping on social media thanks to Nancy,
so don't think I'm that strange. But you and your
sister have the most beautiful bond.

Speaker 8 (39:00):
Can you tell us about Ava?

Speaker 27 (39:04):
Oh?

Speaker 39 (39:04):
I don't even know where to start. She is just
like I actually wrote like a little something about her,
but what I wrote it is that like she has.

Speaker 21 (39:15):
The most pure soul.

Speaker 39 (39:17):
She was so kind and loving. She loved everyone that
she met, and she touched the hearts of everyone that
knew her. She I don't even know. She's just like
I couldn't have asked for a better sister, little sister.
I look up to her like she I'm the big

(39:38):
sister and she's a little sister, and I just she
inspires me in ways that I could have never imagined.
So yeah, wow, I.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
Love that, Caitlin. That's amazing.

Speaker 7 (39:52):
And I'm sure that you are strength for your mom
and your dad, and you are probably a lot of
times trying to give them the strength that they need
to just be able to get through the days.

Speaker 6 (40:06):
Yeah. True, Mitch. You have a beautiful You have a
beautiful family. Mitch.

Speaker 7 (40:10):
I'm looking at you there, and I'm and I'm watching
you and I'm thinking my God as a guide to know.
I'm waking up to a whole bunch of people, strangers
in my house.

Speaker 40 (40:21):
Yeah, they're not too chabby, not too bad.

Speaker 7 (40:23):
How are you holding up, Mitch? How's dad doing? How's
the man of the house.

Speaker 16 (40:29):
Uh, you know, it's not just the man of the house.

Speaker 6 (40:33):
We're a family.

Speaker 40 (40:34):
We do everything together.

Speaker 13 (40:36):
We do everything as four.

Speaker 40 (40:40):
We we go on vacations together, Karen and I does
we don't do anything but just us two.

Speaker 13 (40:45):
We do a thing as a family.

Speaker 6 (40:46):
We always have.

Speaker 13 (40:47):
That's what we do, that's what we are. So, I mean,
we've we've been.

Speaker 40 (40:52):
Doing this since day one for six years. It's this
is what we do, and this is we do everything together.

Speaker 7 (41:00):
And I love that you do that because I think
that that's a wonderful thing. And I think it's also
amazing to be a girl dad, isn't it.

Speaker 40 (41:10):
Well, I'm a little more great than I want to.

Speaker 16 (41:15):
Because it's not that I have girls.

Speaker 40 (41:17):
I'd also have a dog that's just as bad as
they are.

Speaker 6 (41:20):
I get it.

Speaker 7 (41:21):
Hey, Karen, I the bond that you and Nancy have,
the fact that you came into Nancy's life when Hope
was in the hospital, and then to know that you
and you know have been dealing with Ava and what
happened with Ava. As somebody that is a nurse taking
care of everybody, you never think it's going to end

(41:41):
up being something that's you're going to have to deal
with at your.

Speaker 32 (41:44):
Own home, right right, Yeah, I don't know. I just
you know, it's kind of one of those things you
just because you take care of that population, you think,
you know it's not going to be me and you
know nobody's immune to it.

Speaker 17 (41:57):
And yeah, I'm unlast words, I'm sorry.

Speaker 6 (42:04):
That's okay.

Speaker 35 (42:07):
Let me.

Speaker 7 (42:12):
I want you guys to know, Mitch and and UH
and Karen and Caitlin, I want you to know this.
We have millions of listeners along with so many more
that we'll hear this on social We're praying for Ava.
We're praying for you guys. We're praying that God's comfort
and peace is with your home today and forever, and

(42:35):
I know it will be. I really do.

Speaker 32 (42:38):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 7 (42:40):
I want to introduce a couple of people to you.
Bianca is bringing in a whole bunch of stuff. That's
Bianca from our show. She's like a sometimes she's a
bowl in a china shop, but she's beautiful. Along with
our team bringing stuff in, I also want to introduce
you to UH and I'm sure Mitch and and Caitlin
and Karen, you guys are fans. But right, Lions and

(43:01):
the great people over there are always given back to
the community and one person specifically Brock Right who is
a star, and his beautiful fiance Carly Johnston by car
they are helping us with this Christmas wish that they're
helping bring stuff there. And I don't know, Brock, are

(43:22):
you good at putting things together? Because we might need
your help with putting some things together here today.

Speaker 6 (43:26):
Are you handy?

Speaker 13 (43:28):
I can follow.

Speaker 6 (43:31):
Good. Let's ask Carly that question. Make sure.

Speaker 7 (43:34):
Also our good friend Brian Reef from Planet Fitness is
also there today.

Speaker 4 (43:40):
It's the community.

Speaker 7 (43:44):
It's the community that comes together every single year, and
I want you to know that we're coming together for
you as we bring in a ton of stuff.

Speaker 6 (43:51):
It's I mean, Shannon, you did the shopping, so.

Speaker 8 (43:53):
You know what I mean.

Speaker 9 (43:54):
We've we've all helped with the shopping. But everything from
new betting and clothing and Lions gear and gift cards
for door Dash, and we know Ava is a Taylor
Swift fan and a Wicked fan, so we did a
bunch of shopping for that. Caitlin can't forget about sisters,

(44:14):
so we got you all sorts of stuff from Saphora
and Netflix and clothes and gas cards, Pistons, tickets.

Speaker 7 (44:24):
Kroger gift cards to fill your cupboards with food because
we want to make sure that you guys have everything
you need. And so Karen, you don't have to be
going out to Kroger. Kroger Delivery is going to help
you with that. And I also want to bring this
up to you. We know that it's been and we
see this a lot with people that are dealing with
families and illnesses, that it's tough financially because you got

(44:45):
to take time away from work. So we also want
to write you guys a check to help cover your
bills in hopes that that less of a burden helps
you guys complete the four like Mitch talked about out
and just be with each other.

Speaker 9 (45:01):
And somebody somebody let us know too that there was
something up with your furnace, so Kara from the A
Plus Heating team, they're taking care of that so you
don't have to worry about that. And also we want
you to take care of yourself, mama, so we got
you flight for a little self care trip and Delta

(45:22):
is helping us out with that one. So you'll see
those in there as one of those gift cards in
there is one Dad.

Speaker 10 (45:27):
I heard that you like to cook. I heard that
we also got you a black So.

Speaker 7 (45:33):
Wait, you know what he's going to be doing a
lot of cooking with that Kroger stuff that's coming in.

Speaker 6 (45:38):
So I.

Speaker 8 (45:41):
Four years, well you got it today.

Speaker 7 (45:43):
Well, and I want to plug real quick again that
the furnace issue has been has been something that's been
weighing on you guys.

Speaker 6 (45:50):
And again who is it that's helping out with that?

Speaker 8 (45:52):
Kara from A plus heating team.

Speaker 7 (45:55):
So that is one less thing that you guys have
to stress about. They will take care of everything for you.

Speaker 32 (46:00):
Okay, thank you, Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (46:03):
I know this is a world Yeah we did.

Speaker 21 (46:06):
We have more family living room right here too. You
have a whole crowd in here as well.

Speaker 6 (46:09):
They all came to help us. I want you guys
know this is a whirlwin.

Speaker 7 (46:14):
Everything's going to kind of, you know, in the next
couple of hours come you know, to a point where
you're going to be able to sit back and you're
going to be able to kind of go, oh God,
what just hit me? But I want you to know,
most of all, Ava has always left an impression on people.
She left an impression obviously on Nancy and her family
because of you, Karen and your relationship. And Ava will

(46:36):
always be here for us and be here with us.
And I know that you know you guys need to
know this. Her life is a life that we all
are loving this morning, and we're praying for her, and
we're praying for your entire family.

Speaker 28 (46:51):
Thank you, Thank you God, bless.

Speaker 32 (46:53):
You guys, Thank God, bless all.

Speaker 6 (46:57):
Right, do you even want to do a scream?

Speaker 28 (46:59):
She used?

Speaker 7 (47:00):
Ends this guys with a Merry Christmas? Can we have
a merry Christmas?

Speaker 32 (47:04):
Can we do it?

Speaker 21 (47:05):
Merry Christmas? Yeah, a big one. Okay. I want everyone
in the room right now, wherever you guys are at,
We're gonna do a big Merry Christmas on three? Okay?

Speaker 23 (47:12):
Ready?

Speaker 29 (47:13):

Speaker 7 (47:14):
Two three, Chris go Mojo in the morning Breaknander and
Christmas Wish Mojo's wish dot Org.

Speaker 6 (47:21):
We're granted wishes through the holidays.

Speaker 7 (47:24):
I love for you to send us your wish.

Speaker 6 (47:26):
I say this knowing that.

Speaker 7 (47:30):
We all are faced with different struggles. But it's unimaginable
to think when your child is sick that you would
give up any work struggle or traffic struggle or maybe
personal marital struggle, to just make your child healthy, and
to see Mitch and Karen and Caitlin there in the

(47:54):
strength that they have for Ava. I just want you
to know, family, and we are on a day where
the weather kind of sucks and we're all kind of struggling.
Think about this. Slow down while you're driving, take it
easy and just realize that we are all blessed. We'll
be right back with more, including grab Santa Sack your

(48:16):
chance to win some money in Lions tickets. Thank you
to Brock right by the way in Carl Johnson. That
was amazing to those guys.

Speaker 41 (48:25):
Hi Channel nine to five five listeners, it's Santa and Wow,
Christmas costs a lot this year, and the fine people
at Mojo in the Morning are digging deep, really deep
into my sacks this year. You'll find big amounts of cash.
You might find hundreds, even thousands of dollars.

Speaker 6 (48:44):
How do you win?

Speaker 2 (48:45):
All you good boys and.

Speaker 41 (48:46):
Girls, get the Santa Sack hookup at seven thirty and
eight thirty, Simple as that, and it's all made possible
by Santa. Steve Gabara at zott Ford and Holly. Steve
looks a lot like Santa. But there's only one Santa,
and that's me, y'all. And remember Santa always says listen
to Mojo or you'll get cold this year.

Speaker 6 (49:08):
Yeah, I love you, Santa. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (49:14):
Ever notice how the TV stations make it sound like
the snowstorm is gonna swallow us up?

Speaker 1 (49:20):
This the snow apocalypse, Deadly slaves falling on the Midwest.

Speaker 7 (49:24):
Yes, and they did last night, causing for a lot
of school closings. So we have a lot of people
that are without school today. That means that you have
to tell every one of them to listen to our
podcast later today they'll be posted. You don't want to
miss out on things that are going on, like the
War of the Roses, the Second Date Update, Shannon's Dirties.

(49:46):
We're doing a contest starting today too. You know, we
don't have jingle Ball, so we have Grab Santa's Sack
starting today here on the show. Would you like to
reach inside santa sack and pull out your share of
five thousand dollars or possibly Detroit Lions tickets. Santa Steve
from Zotford in Holly, Michigan. Holly Jolly Michigan is giving

(50:10):
us some cash to give away, along with a chance
for you to also see the Detroit Lions play at
the what looks like must win games to get into
the playoffs.

Speaker 6 (50:21):
Eight four to four Mojo Live.

Speaker 7 (50:22):
We're looking for the ninety fifth collar to reach inside
Santa Sack and grab whatever prize is. So eight four
forur Mojo Live, ninety fifth Collar, Good luck, Good Mocho.

Speaker 6 (50:34):
Loves all for your Santa's host.

Speaker 2 (50:37):
This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (50:39):
Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 7 (50:43):
Explain that one to your kids starting tomorrow when they're
not on a snow day. Grab Santa Sack. All right,
we got the Dirty on the thirty. Shannon, It's been
a beautiful morning so far. Is the show over with yet?

Speaker 6 (50:56):
Are you so?

Speaker 8 (50:57):
I'm so tired.

Speaker 9 (50:58):
Jingle Ball was great, by the way, it was so
it was so worth it to be tired.

Speaker 7 (51:02):
I'm not gonna lie to you. I went into this
jingle Ball not expecting much. I mean, I thought to myself,
Nelly's going to be fun, and he was. I'm not
a big Shine Doown fan I am now. I can't
believe how big of a fan I became.

Speaker 9 (51:14):
After that great, fabulous, fabulous I will.

Speaker 7 (51:21):
Say this right off the bat that I thought that
that K Pop demon Hunter's thing was the hokeiest, goofiest thing.
That thing turned out to be great.

Speaker 8 (51:31):
I was jumping around like a fortunate.

Speaker 7 (51:33):
It was unbelievable. So thank you to everybody. Thank you
to our jingle ball team from iHeart. Thank you to
Tony Trevado and Colleen Grant for such a great job.
Nick Naw, we love Nick and all the great people
that help us get a jingle ball every single year,
Kim Blockhamp and the sales team. If you guys don't
sell it, we don't do it. So thank you to

(51:53):
our sales team for selling it, and all the sponsors.

Speaker 6 (51:55):
That helped us.

Speaker 9 (51:55):
Titania l Lund for helping us give away that seventy
five thousand dollars.

Speaker 4 (52:00):
Lest she.

Speaker 7 (52:02):
Was awesome, she looked beautiful. Can I mention something before
you do your dirty about sponsors? So last night we
had a pre party here at the iHeart Eastern Market
Broadcast Studios and one of the big sponsors of this
was three one three Urban Chips.

Speaker 1 (52:15):
Uh.

Speaker 7 (52:16):
They came to us through our friends over at Kroger
and It's Angels client the very very nice people over
there emotionally told me that if it wasn't for their
sponsorship with three one three Urban Chips, they don't know
what their holidays would have been like because this is
not typically the big time for chips, for like tortilla chips,

(52:36):
and they had a huge, you know time at this
they were selling them off the shelves.

Speaker 6 (52:41):
I want you guys to know this.

Speaker 7 (52:42):
You affect local people, local businesses when you buy local.
And if you go into a Kroger store or a
Myer store and you see three to one three urban chips,
try them buy them. I personally love them too. An
So here's the thing. They literally care so much about

(53:04):
Michigan and Ohio. And if you see it, buy it,
because I'm going to tell you freedom OA ain't given
a rats ass about us three one three urban chips.

Speaker 6 (53:13):
Go get them, So go ahead chanting with your okay.

Speaker 8 (53:15):
So real quick.

Speaker 9 (53:16):
The Justice Department can now publicly release investigative materials from
the sex or i should say, from a sex trafficking
case against Glaine Maxwell, the longtime right hand woman to
Jeffrey Epstein. This after the Justice Department last month asked
two judges in New York to unseal grandeury transcripts and
photos and videos from Glane and Jeffrey Epstein's cases, along

(53:41):
with investigative materials that could amount two thousands of previously
unreleased documents. Now, this new ruling from yesterday means these
records could be made public within ten days. And if
you're going, okay, is this going to be are we
going to see names?

Speaker 8 (53:56):
This isn't that.

Speaker 9 (53:58):
This is other stuff that will still be of interested people,
I think, But this isn't going to be naming anybody.

Speaker 8 (54:04):
Anybody knew Taylor.

Speaker 9 (54:06):
Swift and Essay Hyam spotted out to dinner in New
York City last night, possibly to celebrate Taylor's birthday a
few days early thirty.

Speaker 8 (54:14):
Six this week.

Speaker 9 (54:15):
And one of the Highams, one of the Higham sisters. Yeah,
the group what is that?

Speaker 6 (54:21):
The Hyams.

Speaker 8 (54:22):
They're a singing group. Oh really sisters?

Speaker 9 (54:24):
Yes, I don't know Taylor's Taylor's no, but if they
if they.

Speaker 8 (54:30):
Were, I think, oh yes, it would be huge.

Speaker 9 (54:33):
But everybody's talking about Taylor's coat that she was wearing.

Speaker 8 (54:37):
Louis Vatan.

Speaker 9 (54:38):
Seven thousand dollars is the price tag on this thing. Also,
this girl's night comes amid a string of high profile
outings for Taylor with other ladies Selena Gomez Sabrina Carpenter,
Gigi hadid lots of people noticing no girls' nights with
Blake Lively lately. So even though we heard that they've

(55:00):
patched up their friendship, maybe that is not the case.
And lastly, this story trending today drinking appearance on The
Graham Norton Show actress Kate Winslet revealing a very strange
encounter that she had with Eminem. This is back in
two thousand and four when she was hosting SNL and
Eminem was the musical guest.

Speaker 37 (55:20):
Eminem asked me to shave his bottom.

Speaker 8 (55:26):
It's always like a pooh bum thing for me when
I come on this.

Speaker 4 (55:29):
Shoe Handtaeldraser, Well he did.

Speaker 8 (55:32):
He said, would you shave my and I said, I'm sorry,
I don't. I don't do personal dreaming.

Speaker 6 (55:37):
That's funny.

Speaker 9 (55:38):
She was promoting that movie Finding Neverland at the time,
got a call to do SNL, like twenty four hours
to prepare, and then that happens to her. In the
middle of her being so nervous to do it, she
gets asked to shave his butt.

Speaker 6 (55:49):
It's funny.

Speaker 7 (55:50):
We were doing our interviews backstage, and you know, Dylan
and the entire national team, Brad Harden and those guys
were there, and I'm like, all right, do I ask
inappropriate questions? And I really was actually trying to be
on my best behavior, and then you play that clip
this morning, I'm going, you know what.

Speaker 6 (56:05):
It's memorable, right, shave my bottomer? I love it.

Speaker 8 (56:09):
Miss anything from today's show, catch up on the podcast
on the free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 6 (56:12):
It's eminem. What the fuck?

Speaker 2 (56:15):
It's Mojoe in the Morning, Celebrity.

Speaker 5 (56:17):
Dirt directly to the sword.

Speaker 6 (56:19):
It's Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (56:20):

Speaker 25 (56:23):

Speaker 41 (56:54):

the morning.

Speaker 6 (57:01):

Speaker 16 (57:22):

to buy for.

Speaker 16 (58:06):
Yeah, we just we always struggle.

Speaker 34 (58:08):
I'm a person of a family of seven that we
would have checked the tech cars always, you know, there's
always something going on. Car needs repair, house needs repairs.
But definitely gonna be putting it towards Christmas. It'll definitely
help us out.

Speaker 7 (58:21):
That's incredible. Thanks Brad. I love you buddy for listening.
Merry Christmas to you pal.

Speaker 25 (58:26):
You was well all you guys, Love you guys.

Speaker 7 (58:28):
Thanks, thank you. Hang on the phone for just one second.
It's Mojoe in the morning show. Phone numbers eight four
to four Mojoe Live. The text is nine five to
five zero zero. Kevin is out sick today. He last
night honestly was not well. Yesterday morning wasn't well either,
and was a trooper. He came to jingle Ball, uh
he you know, got up on stage, he did an
amazing job hyping up everybody, and he just crashed afterwards.

(58:52):
And I said to him, I go, please do not
come in tomorrow. And I wasn't even so much worried about, uh,
you know, catching anything from him him, but I was
more worried about I do not want to see him
getting like pneumonia or something bad. He works his butt off,
single dad. You know, he's always so upbeat. And it's
funny because last night you could tell there was just

(59:14):
an ounce off of.

Speaker 6 (59:15):
Him, you know.

Speaker 8 (59:16):
More than that, I think he was so quiet, but.

Speaker 6 (59:17):
He still for you know, what he needed to do.

Speaker 7 (59:22):
He showed he and he showed his uh his hard
work and diligence here. So all right, you know what,
I get to hang out with you, guys. I gotta
be honest with you. I was a guy in high
school that couldn't get one girl. Really, I'm a lucky guy.
I got a beautiful wife, and I've got beautiful work.
Wives looked beautiful, stunning, and you know what the worst was?

(59:46):
The worst was she looked so damn hot. And I
got my goddamn nephew staying with me, Xavier anymore, by
the way, Okay, I got my uh my, my gd
nephew and he's staying with me. And it's a it's
an awkward thing because and I love the kid death.

Speaker 6 (01:00:06):
Exavier is his name.

Speaker 7 (01:00:07):
You might see somebody in the background what looks like
a you know, I don't know, like a twelve year
old guy in the background.

Speaker 8 (01:00:14):
He's not twenty eight.

Speaker 6 (01:00:16):
Did you know that?

Speaker 35 (01:00:17):
Yes?

Speaker 6 (01:00:17):
Did you ask him?

Speaker 8 (01:00:18):
Were you blown away? You're twenty eight?

Speaker 6 (01:00:21):
Yeah, he's twenty eight years old. Xavier is twenty eight
years old. It's wild.

Speaker 7 (01:00:25):
Xavier is one of those kids that I said to him,
I go your whole life You're going to probably not
like the idea that people think that you're younger than
you are until you hit a certain age, and that
age is like thirty five. Once you turn thirty five,
you're going to be loving the fact that you look
ten years younger.

Speaker 6 (01:00:43):
We're that you're the slowest walker. Get in here, Kmarre.

Speaker 7 (01:00:46):
Exavier, you're twenty eight years old. Come here for one second,
will you please? Get No, don't come here like a
maybe micro Sit next to Shannon so Xavier.

Speaker 6 (01:00:57):
You're twenty eight years.

Speaker 11 (01:00:58):
Old, right, Yes, twenty eight.

Speaker 7 (01:01:00):
He is a He works at the Jewel food stores
in Chicago. He's a hard working What do you do there?

Speaker 14 (01:01:07):
You're work in their e commerce and helping run their
shopping of orders.

Speaker 7 (01:01:11):
Yeah, and he's also he writes for the local newspaper
in the.

Speaker 6 (01:01:19):
South side of Chicago, which is what is it called.

Speaker 14 (01:01:21):
The Southwest Regional Publishing. We got many entities of the
other papers. Yes, I do the photos and the writing,
and then I do some freelance photography outside of that.

Speaker 8 (01:01:32):
Do you come visit Uncle Tom just for drinkable?

Speaker 11 (01:01:34):
No, like to shake it off and visit someone?

Speaker 8 (01:01:38):
Okay?

Speaker 10 (01:01:39):
I heard yesterday that Joe is your favorite cousin and
he just happens to be in town too.

Speaker 4 (01:01:44):
Did that have anything to do with it?

Speaker 11 (01:01:46):
No, I didn't know Joe was coming.

Speaker 14 (01:01:47):
I had asked my uncle Tom and he's like, oh,
it's going to be here too, So that was a bonus.

Speaker 6 (01:01:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:01:52):
And then seeing the rest, Jed and Ash tell.

Speaker 10 (01:01:55):
Us the secret about Uncle Tom. What was he like
growing up with him?

Speaker 11 (01:02:00):
Secret? So this is a great uncle. Always been blessed.

Speaker 14 (01:02:02):
I got such a great fan. They're always supportive in
my things. I just ran the Chicago marathon and he
helped donate to that.

Speaker 6 (01:02:10):
So how much money did you raise total for the thing?
That's amazing?

Speaker 7 (01:02:14):
Yeah, which is pretty cool. This kid, by the way,
is amazing. He's got the greatest heart ever. And he's
the reason why my hot wife and I couldn't have
I'm sorry he couldn't bake cookies last night.

Speaker 6 (01:02:24):
The end of it.

Speaker 7 (01:02:25):
We got home, we called Chelsea for me please because
maybe Exavier, are you leaving today?

Speaker 6 (01:02:30):
If not, can I have you leave today? Or can
I get you a hotel room?

Speaker 11 (01:02:33):
I'm headed out.

Speaker 10 (01:02:34):
Do you think you had the energy and you you had?
How many hours of sleep are you running on?

Speaker 8 (01:02:39):
He doesn't care.

Speaker 7 (01:02:40):
I want you to understand something about me, Anna, Rob.
I know that you haven't been around these uh these
parts for a while. This man would never turn down
an opportunity. I because you never know when the next
one's gonna come. And I'll be quite honest with you.
My wife. You were saying, my wife looked good. I
actually felt like I looked good too. I actually did

(01:03:00):
a nice job of shower and I dressed nice shower.
Can I what can I also tell you? I did
thank you my shoes. I am not gonna lie to you.
Yesterday was the most comfortable outfit I have ever worn
at a jingle ball. And I've dressed in the past
in just a sweatshirt and a pair of jeans, and
I was uncomfortable. I was so comfortable last night my

(01:03:23):
jeans I didn't have to constantly pull them up. I
have no idea what brand that is, but I'm going
to buy that brand forever. My buddy David turned me
onto them. And my shirt was comfortable. I felt the
temperature was good inside Little Saiss. Right now, Well, I
get home, we walk inside and I'm exhausted, and my
wife is wearing this like kind of Christmasy kind of

(01:03:46):
skirt and stuff, and she had like this I don't
know what it is like tights thing up.

Speaker 8 (01:03:50):
It's called a deep V top.

Speaker 7 (01:03:53):
We get into the room and she takes all her
save her Close your ears for a second. She takes
all her clothes off, and I'm looking at her in
the mirror and I'm just like going, oh my god,
we're going to go into the room right now and
we are going to make a baby if we can,
and which we can't because she just had everything ripped

(01:04:14):
out of her with ovarying cancer. And I have literally,
you know, had my uh my mickey ears.

Speaker 8 (01:04:21):
Tied all right. Oh my god, this is getting.

Speaker 7 (01:04:24):
And so and so we're sitting there and I go,
can we and she goes, Xavier is right below us,
And at that moment I almost tried to get Exavier
to leave.

Speaker 6 (01:04:35):
Please welcome.

Speaker 8 (01:04:36):
Uh, Chelsea's a lot of detail.

Speaker 7 (01:04:39):
Chelsea, I'm scared. I was just saying that Xavier is
not staying with us tonight. Do I get a make
good for last night?

Speaker 8 (01:04:50):
What do you mean He's not saying with us tonight.

Speaker 6 (01:04:52):
He's not. He's going back. We're sending him back home
to his parents.

Speaker 8 (01:04:55):
Oh, stop.

Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
With us.

Speaker 6 (01:05:00):
Yeah, Chelsea will not.

Speaker 7 (01:05:01):
She will not when the kids uh are were younger
and they were you know, uh active, and then also
we had like an Exavier.

Speaker 6 (01:05:10):
Basically it was like another child.

Speaker 37 (01:05:11):
I will not when the kids are there, I will not.

Speaker 8 (01:05:13):
When the kids aren't here, I will not.

Speaker 6 (01:05:17):
I will I will not. Is wait a second, is
this like the Santa's had the or.

Speaker 37 (01:05:21):
The Remember remember I just went through cancer, so.

Speaker 6 (01:05:25):
She's pulled this crap with me.

Speaker 7 (01:05:27):
And I want to ask this question, anybody that has
ever battled cancer, how long did the cancer card pull
for the fact that you could not have uh cookie baking?

Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
I was going to say life, I mean.

Speaker 7 (01:05:38):
No offense parts, no offense cancer Schmancer, the whole idea
that you're using cancer as you're out, it's.

Speaker 8 (01:05:47):
Going to cost you, my friend.

Speaker 7 (01:05:49):
Do you understand Do you understand that the caregiver in
me was was there for you to help you through
some of those tough days.

Speaker 37 (01:05:58):
Your caregivers seventeen million times, that's for every injury.

Speaker 7 (01:06:02):
This is you know, this is just one of those
moments here where Xavier open your ears again. I want
you to know when Xavier sits there and tells me
that Aunt Chelsea is his favorite aunt.

Speaker 6 (01:06:13):
This is what I got to live with, Xavier.

Speaker 37 (01:06:16):
I'm sure he didn't say that because he goes back
to Chicago.

Speaker 8 (01:06:19):
Aunt pat will yeah.

Speaker 7 (01:06:22):
Actually, come on, honestly, Xavier, who's your favorite aunt? You
can go ahead and say it in the mic.

Speaker 11 (01:06:29):
I don't think I have one.

Speaker 6 (01:06:31):
You have?

Speaker 37 (01:06:32):
He is tomorrow?

Speaker 6 (01:06:34):
Who's your favorite nephew, Chelsea?

Speaker 7 (01:06:37):
Wow? Obvious, whichever one is sleeping in our house?

Speaker 6 (01:06:42):
To keep me? What's hold on? Hold on? Shannon? Are
you there? Shannon?

Speaker 18 (01:06:47):
I am?

Speaker 21 (01:06:48):
How are you?

Speaker 16 (01:06:48):
Guys?

Speaker 27 (01:06:48):
Good morning?

Speaker 6 (01:06:49):
Good morning.

Speaker 7 (01:06:50):
Shannon is a cancer survivor, stage four cancer.

Speaker 4 (01:06:58):
I am two years cancer free.

Speaker 13 (01:07:00):
And mo y'all canfer card gets played forever?

Speaker 7 (01:07:04):
Stop it, you guys and your I had cancer.

Speaker 6 (01:07:09):
I don't want to hear this whole crab.

Speaker 31 (01:07:12):
We earned its, absolutely, Chelsea, Shannon, you are congratulations.

Speaker 35 (01:07:20):
I'm so proud of you and so happy for you.

Speaker 18 (01:07:23):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:07:23):
Oh my god, I'm praying for.

Speaker 21 (01:07:25):
You the whole time.

Speaker 7 (01:07:27):
I want you to know, Shannon, you have just officially
become my least favorite listener, my favorite.

Speaker 25 (01:07:37):
I love you as long as Chelsea loves me.

Speaker 6 (01:07:39):
I'm you miserable human being youth, Shannon.

Speaker 7 (01:07:43):
I was about to celebrate with you the fact that
you have battled and beat cancer, and now I'm not anymore.
I'm thinking ill will right now. No, I thank you,
Thank you, Shannon. I appreciate you calling up and I
love you for that. Thanks for thinking of telling me.

Speaker 42 (01:07:57):
Guys.

Speaker 15 (01:07:58):
I love all you guys.

Speaker 6 (01:07:59):
I appreciate it. You know what this is though.

Speaker 7 (01:08:03):
This is one of those times where I'm gonna write,
Dear Mojo in the Morning, breaking and entering Christmas wish.
My name is Tom a k A Mojo, and I
have one wish and I'm hoping that Lydia can buy
it at Target.

Speaker 37 (01:08:21):
Yeah, they can't buy that at Target, but you can
buy it.

Speaker 7 (01:08:23):
Some only fans. Maybe can I get an only fans
gift card? All Right, I love you, Chelse. I'll talk
to you later. You looked hot last night, Chelsea, beautiful.
All Right, We'll see you later.

Speaker 3 (01:08:36):
Grand Rabbit.

Speaker 2 (01:08:39):
And hard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.
Mojo in the Morning guarantee human.

Speaker 3 (01:08:48):
Mojod Me go back.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
To the beginning.

Speaker 36 (01:09:02):
Alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 6 (01:09:05):
You're a doo doo ahead.

Speaker 7 (01:09:11):
Let's go all right, it is Mojo in the morning.
It is so good to have you guys listening to us.
We are commercial free right now. Be safe on those roads.
They're miserable. The temperatures, thank god, are above freezing. So
continued throughout the day, We're going to have a little
bit of rain snow, so it's a little snain mix,

(01:09:33):
but just do be careful because it does make for
some slick spots. And I feel like the local counties
did nothing on some of the local streets, the side streets.
I mean, they got the freeways, but that ain't helping
you if you're trying to get to and from wherever
you're going. And we do have snow day today, yes, yeah, yes,

(01:09:58):
snow day was called pretty early and Shannon, were your
kids excited about having a snow day today?

Speaker 9 (01:10:04):
So I mean everybody, every child, every kid, every adult,
everybody's excited to have a snow day. But sometimes I
feel like the snow days come on a day when
you had something that you were actually looking forward to.
So there's a little part of you that slightly bummed.
And this morning, Smith, my second grader, had a little
music concert for the second grade and he had a

(01:10:24):
solo which he's trying to pretend he was not excited about.
But I've been watching him practice this thing many many times,
my future little Broadway star, And so I think I
don't know if they're going to reschedule it either. It
was just it was just his class, Like there are
three second grade classes at his elementary school, and they
did all the classes separately. So I wasn't able to

(01:10:46):
go because it was happening at nine o'clock this morning.
So obviously I have the show, but Wes and my
dad and my stepmom were going to go and see him,
can we?

Speaker 7 (01:10:54):
But is there a way that we can give him
a bigger platform?

Speaker 4 (01:10:58):
Would he jingle ball?

Speaker 43 (01:11:00):
Well?

Speaker 7 (01:11:01):
Yeah? Or this radio show this morning?

Speaker 8 (01:11:04):
He's up now, But yeah, that's not a bad idea.

Speaker 9 (01:11:07):
But sometimes the snow days happened on a day when,
like you, there was something that you were actually looking
forward to.

Speaker 7 (01:11:14):
Yeah, what did okay? So what did you mess because
there was a snow day? Or what was it that
you you know? And did they not come back and
do it again? I would think that they would come
back and do it. I hope, So I will never
I'll never forget you. Know, we used to get We
didn't do the whole forks under the pillows or anything
like that, although I probably had forks in my.

Speaker 6 (01:11:33):
Room, plates and forks and bowls.

Speaker 7 (01:11:36):
Of cereal and stuff, but I we never did any
I think it was it was a spoon under your
pillow metaphor you'd cut yourself or hurt yourself with that.
But I remember when we would get snow days. The
snow days were different than it is now. Now you
get the you know, digital alert or call that comes
to you. We used to have to sit and listen
to the local radio stations, or we had to watch

(01:11:58):
television and watch the roll at.

Speaker 8 (01:12:00):
The bottom of the screen that you guys. I think
I will.

Speaker 9 (01:12:05):
I was a huge nerd and I kind of hated
snow days because for me, I was always missing a
test or a quiz or a paper that then I
had anxiety for a whole nother day that I had
to wait to.

Speaker 6 (01:12:20):
Take the dang thing wait.

Speaker 7 (01:12:22):
I would look at it as another day to study
because I didn't study.

Speaker 9 (01:12:25):
I was ready, really, I was ready to go, and
then I'm like, oh my god, now I have twenty
four more hours of a stomach ache.

Speaker 7 (01:12:32):
I were I know, I know what you had a
glow up or something, because that's pretty unreal that you
would get that excited.

Speaker 8 (01:12:40):
I just wanted to get that stuff over with.

Speaker 7 (01:12:41):
If if Tony Travado would have said, hey, no work today,
you guys could have stayed home, would you have been sad?

Speaker 9 (01:12:48):
I wouldn't have been sad, but I would have had
work to do because I would have had to schedule
a show.

Speaker 7 (01:12:52):
Well, I mean I'm saying, though, would you have been like, oh,
maybe I want to go in.

Speaker 10 (01:12:57):
Right now when you were going up where snow days
always called the morning of, because now they start calling
them like a day ahead of time.

Speaker 9 (01:13:04):
Let me tell you, gros Seal public schools were the worst.
They either didn't ever call a snow day or they
were the very very last ones to do it.

Speaker 7 (01:13:11):
Because you guys lived on an island. You couldn't go
anywhere anyway.

Speaker 8 (01:13:14):
I mean, I truly.

Speaker 10 (01:13:15):
Remember sometimes it getting called and then there was no
snow and everyone was like this is so fun, like, yeah,
we don't have to stay inside, but we don't have school.

Speaker 5 (01:13:24):
Anna.

Speaker 7 (01:13:24):
The funniest was to show you the difference nowadays. I
swear the superintendents of these school districts are just looking
for free days, like it's you know, they don't want
to do anything, so they will call it like way
ahead of time. But back when we were in school,
I remember walking to the bus and having guys scream, hey, yes,
they just can't like literally the last because it would

(01:13:45):
be that the buses couldn't, you know back yeah, back
in my day, kids we didn't or the buses.

Speaker 8 (01:13:51):
Just didn't come.

Speaker 9 (01:13:52):
And I would look at Andrea and Kelly and Justin
and everybody else at the bus stop and go I think,
I don't think we have school today, and we'd go
back in and that was it.

Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
It's like, what's what's going on? Why why are they
not picking us up? The bus driver doesn't like us?
And this is forgetting about us right now.

Speaker 32 (01:14:12):
It's so cold, so very very cool.

Speaker 6 (01:14:15):
What's up, Jamie, how you doing?

Speaker 21 (01:14:18):
Hey, guys, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 22 (01:14:21):
Are we loving this snow this morning?

Speaker 10 (01:14:23):
No?

Speaker 28 (01:14:24):
No, I hate it?

Speaker 7 (01:14:26):
By the way, can I tell you that I don't
like this kind of snow because this kind of snow
is the kind of snow that's like slushy, yucky and
you're you know, your clothes, Yes, everything gets dirty.

Speaker 22 (01:14:36):
Like really heavy wet snow. But I wanted to tell Shammon,
my daughter shout out to Genesis. She's sticks and she
had a little Christy was supposed to have a Christmas
concert today at like one point thirty, and they did
tell me that they rescheduled it for this Friday. Okay,
but it totally screwed my day up because I had

(01:14:59):
asked my boss to leave work early of course today,
and so now I gotta ask to leave early Friday
instead so I can make the contort.

Speaker 9 (01:15:09):
Hopefully, here's he understands and lets you do it. And
if not.

Speaker 7 (01:15:14):
Written right, you're gonna your review, your company review that
you're gonna have, is gonna be a bad one.

Speaker 6 (01:15:21):
What's up, Victoria? Yeah?

Speaker 17 (01:15:24):
Hi, well Joe, Hey, I yes, I was sharing that
my son had a key field trip today that goes canceled.

Speaker 21 (01:15:32):
But the funny part of that was that I said.

Speaker 16 (01:15:34):
I couldn't make it because it told me last minute.

Speaker 20 (01:15:36):
So now it's going to schedules.

Speaker 25 (01:15:38):
In January, and it was like, now can you make it?

Speaker 8 (01:15:41):
I'm like maybe, so you don't want to make it?
Am I understanding that correctly?

Speaker 16 (01:15:47):
Yes?

Speaker 7 (01:15:48):
Yes, you know. You know what's funny about like field
trips and the things. I wonder if these schools get
their money back on this stuff, because a lot of
times they have to pay ahead of time and you
have to do it and then other schools are scheduled
for where was this.

Speaker 6 (01:16:03):
At that this was going to be.

Speaker 28 (01:16:07):
US Irena, the ice Arena.

Speaker 7 (01:16:10):
Right, yeah, like they might have other schools booked on
that same day. Like could you I hated when there
were snow days before Cedar Point, like you know what
I mean?

Speaker 6 (01:16:18):
Or not snow days.

Speaker 7 (01:16:20):
I'm sorry, not not snow days, but like cancelation days
or whatever, like there were or something happened where they
had to cancel it before, like a like a Cedar
Point type thing, or the Science Center. For some reason,
I always loved going to the Science Center nerd. It
was not a nerd thing, it was honestly. They would
they would at the Science Center. They would talk about
sex and it was.

Speaker 9 (01:16:41):
Kind of like Jesus for real, I swear to you,
that's why you liked going.

Speaker 6 (01:16:44):
You'd go there.

Speaker 7 (01:16:45):
They had like female mannequin bodies that.

Speaker 8 (01:16:50):
Couldn't you just go to J. C. Pennies in undress?

Speaker 7 (01:16:55):
Seers don't think I don't think that I wouldn't do it,
but all right, one and done.

Speaker 2 (01:17:01):
On the dating game, Second Date, Second Date, Updates.

Speaker 6 (01:17:06):
In the morning.

Speaker 7 (01:17:07):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Phone numbers
eight four to four Mojo Live. The text is nine
five five zero zero. It is a good having you guys.
Listen to the show. Last night, we had Nelly at
our jingle ball and got a chance to kind of
sit down with him and and hang, can I listen
to some of that interview?

Speaker 6 (01:17:26):
I didn't get a chance free interview, So it's funny.

Speaker 7 (01:17:29):
It's funny when when people come to a jingle ball
sometimes you don't know what to expect because there are
so many different artists, and you may go saying, Hey,
I'm a Nelly fan and I want to just see Nelly,
so you're hoping that Nelly just does everything. I felt
like Nelly did almost every one of his songs, like
I was honestly surprised at how he was able to collaborate,

(01:17:51):
like every hit right, so hot, I mean so hot, which,
by the way, this song was so awesome. When he
got up and he started doing it, He's like, all
of a sudden, he breaks into it and the crowd
is just going crazy and yeah, which, by the way,
did make it kind of hot in hair.

Speaker 6 (01:18:11):
Didn't it.

Speaker 7 (01:18:13):
Yeah, all right, here you go, so Zach put this in.

Speaker 6 (01:18:17):
This is Nelly backstage.

Speaker 7 (01:18:19):
He did a quick little sit down with us in
front of some microphones while EJ and The Joe Show
were broadcasting on the air.

Speaker 6 (01:18:28):
So piece of history.

Speaker 42 (01:18:30):
Yo.

Speaker 7 (01:18:31):
When this radio station changed formats from Q ninety five
five to Channel nine five five, the first song was
Nelly ripe with me look at that, look at it,
look right.

Speaker 6 (01:18:45):
Been in business for a while. Oh God, don't do that.
So that was so'll do that. So that was early
two thousands. I was I didn't have very much gray hair.
With that, I got hair, man, I got lucky.

Speaker 7 (01:18:56):
And honestly, there was a there was a time where
it was either Nelly was like three songs an hour
and Eminem was three.

Speaker 6 (01:19:03):
Songs an hour. Man, Yo, beast, beast, shout out to
end man, phenomenal and welcome to Detrada. Thank you, Thank
you man, thank you. D is always good.

Speaker 44 (01:19:15):
I don't know, it's like I always get I got
to get here in the summer time at.

Speaker 6 (01:19:18):
Least, I don't.

Speaker 44 (01:19:19):
I don't know, man, It's like the schedule always set
up like this. It's always either basketball season or football season.

Speaker 6 (01:19:26):
But it'd be bricked.

Speaker 44 (01:19:27):
Man, you used to call, but we get it both,
you know what I'm saying, Like that boat of that
boat of line, like that.

Speaker 6 (01:19:34):
When it's cold and cold, when it's hot, it's muggy.
It's hell. But man, I love Detroit.

Speaker 44 (01:19:39):
Man, Detroit has been riding with Nelly even before when
we were a little bit more independent. We had a
few independent shows up here that showed us a lot
of love man, before we even got our deals. So yeah, man,
the Motor City has been molding for us for a
long time.

Speaker 7 (01:19:52):
It's wild for you that you have stood the test
of decades. I'm not even talking about time, but decades,
and that your music is iconic. You cannot go anywhere
without hearing somebody sing your song and all you need
to do is play the first couple of song and
they know.

Speaker 6 (01:20:10):
Yeah, that made good for the checks too.

Speaker 44 (01:20:14):
Definitely you never knew, but yeah, I think you're thankful
for all of it. You know, as an artist, you
create your art, and your art comes from basically who
you are, what it is the message you're trying to
send out and if people accept that then and that's
that's the goal, you know, But to have people continuously
played not just Nelly, but music from from Saint Louis.

(01:20:36):
You know, we're we're we got our own musical history.
But you know we're talking about Detroit. So when you
talk about music, you cannot not mention this place. So
to have a presence in this place and to have
people open their arms because you guys know what music is.

Speaker 6 (01:20:53):
You definitely know.

Speaker 44 (01:20:56):
What all type of music, but that urban music, but
that pop music on on a different.

Speaker 6 (01:21:00):
Level, it comes out of this city.

Speaker 44 (01:21:02):
So to have Detroit always showing Nelly love and like
you saying, I ain't gonna say for how long, just
it's like for a cool period.

Speaker 6 (01:21:09):
You know, it's always good. Yeah, you know music too, though,
you can't short change yourself.

Speaker 44 (01:21:13):
No, well I grew up, you know, you know you
don't how to go Damn, I keep going back to
the age.

Speaker 6 (01:21:18):
Man, Come on, stick, keep me off of there.

Speaker 26 (01:21:20):
Yes, what I want to bring up real quick though,
it's like jingle Ball has the ability to bring a
collection of arms together from all different genres.

Speaker 6 (01:21:27):
We got a big extra plug out there right now.

Speaker 26 (01:21:29):
Those fuse wrapped with country man and you wanted to
pioneers of them, like what did you see and to see.

Speaker 6 (01:21:35):
Where it is now? Did you ever see in the
fusion take off like it? Yeah, I just think again
when you're in the middle.

Speaker 44 (01:21:43):
I was born in Texas, raised in Saint Louis. I
was born on a military base actually down in Austin,
and my father was serving so you know, by the
time I got back to Saint Louis, I was three.
But my music when you're in the middle is from
it's from all over, so definitely like right there in
Missouri we got the hip hop, but we also got

(01:22:05):
a huge country.

Speaker 6 (01:22:06):
Following like that. And my uncle hooked me up with
like Lionel Richie come on, come on, no, no.

Speaker 44 (01:22:19):
My uncle used to get me on the dopest songwriters
and and the things that they were doing. And he
taught me on the line of Richie. Found out line
of Richie was writing writing songs.

Speaker 6 (01:22:28):
Every because.

Speaker 44 (01:22:35):
Yes, she didn't lie, she did not lie exactly right.

Speaker 7 (01:22:41):
Yeah, Okay, we're dancing on the ste.

Speaker 6 (01:22:49):
Well, listen, shardy U.

Speaker 44 (01:22:51):
When it comes to a catalog, this this, it's hard
to beat him in any genres.

Speaker 6 (01:22:56):
You watched that we are the world. Yeah, yeah, I
definitely say that that was incredible.

Speaker 44 (01:23:01):
That was incredible, especially to deal with all those attitudes.

Speaker 6 (01:23:05):
Right there, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 44 (01:23:06):
But the way that they pulled that off, I'm glad
I got a chance to see the outcome.

Speaker 6 (01:23:11):
Somebody told me one time that you didn't fly. I
hated flying. I hated flying. I had a bad experience
when I was young. I told my father was in
the Air Force.

Speaker 44 (01:23:20):
So when we were flying back from Spain, the turbulence
was crazy and I was only like maybe like three,
but you know, you you remember those types of things
like that, your stomach going up and down and all
of that. I hated flying, But I mean, I had
to do what I had to do. But if I
had a choice.

Speaker 6 (01:23:35):
And first thing I thought, the first thing I bought
was a bus.

Speaker 44 (01:23:40):
First thing I bought. I got three of them now,
so it was the first thing I bought. And I
got a great way to do it too. I got
the label to pay for it.

Speaker 6 (01:23:49):
So how's how's the family, man? The family's great, man.
That's great. They're great, man, you.

Speaker 44 (01:23:58):
Know it's it's it's great.

Speaker 6 (01:24:00):
Oh, thank everybody to watch us.

Speaker 44 (01:24:02):
On peacock and all last shout out to everybody you know,
check us out. We be all together. Goddamn season two
coming up. Got to say that, She'll be mad. I say,
make sure I do my plugs.

Speaker 7 (01:24:13):
You guys meet through like doing the show together or
music or how did that happen?

Speaker 44 (01:24:18):
I mean we met just through the business, you know,
past and things like that.

Speaker 6 (01:24:21):
I think we finally interacted.

Speaker 44 (01:24:24):
I think it was one Grammys, one Grammy's pre pre
thing that they were doing.

Speaker 6 (01:24:29):
I think that was like the first time of.

Speaker 44 (01:24:31):
Us kind of interacting just for longer than hey, how
you doing and keep it moving? She did you know
what I'm saying, Nellie, No, no, no, no, no, no no,
I'm joking.

Speaker 6 (01:24:42):
I'm joking.

Speaker 8 (01:24:45):
Manager. Does she slide into DMS?

Speaker 3 (01:24:47):
No, I ain't.

Speaker 44 (01:24:48):
I ain't that Hollywood shorty. I'm gonna say something. I
can't send nobody in there. They might do it wrong, you.

Speaker 20 (01:24:54):
Know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (01:24:55):
They might say somebody.

Speaker 44 (01:24:56):
Mean or get the message biscus screws or something like that.
I just want to say, how you doing? I think
you look nice. That's all I want to say. You
know what I'm saying.

Speaker 7 (01:25:05):
You know, go a long way got the two of
you guys look great like it's.

Speaker 6 (01:25:09):
Seriously thank you brother, thank you brother. Stop looking at
my wife. But it's kind of lit up like that.

Speaker 28 (01:25:17):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 6 (01:25:21):
I got you Listen, you know what I like people
looking at my Hey.

Speaker 44 (01:25:26):
Don't nobody want don't nobody want nobody, don't nobody want to.

Speaker 45 (01:25:29):
Look at it?

Speaker 30 (01:25:30):
Right?

Speaker 7 (01:25:30):
Nobody can believe I'm with you when someone is next
for you. I mean, first off, for you being part
of this iHeart experience and being part of jingle.

Speaker 6 (01:25:40):
Ball, it means the most to us. I mean, you know, man,
for so many years, it.

Speaker 44 (01:25:43):
Means the most to me too that we could still
have events that we both can benefit from. You know,
you do make friends, you do make alliances, and you
do make relationships a lot of times those relationships.

Speaker 6 (01:25:57):
Don't work out in this business.

Speaker 44 (01:25:59):
As you, Glenn, if you can see, if you be
in it long enough, and those that do, you cherish
those ones, man, and you you're very.

Speaker 6 (01:26:05):
Grateful that you can you can do these type of things.

Speaker 44 (01:26:07):
So what's next for me is I think we got
about four or five more of these yeah, yeah, which
is which is really dope going into the holiday season,
and I won't say happy Holidays early now to everybody.
Hope you spend time with your family. And that's what
we're gonna do. I do more of the work now, yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:26:26):
Yeah, yeah yeah, take me out there. Yeah yeah yeah,
come on baby late.

Speaker 44 (01:26:31):
That's that's that's what I get.

Speaker 7 (01:26:32):
We're recording this before you got up on stage, so
I can see what you're doing. But I saw that
you were in Chicago yesterday and you wore Walter Payton.
Sweetens is like, oh yeah, man, I mean Barry Sanders
better get some representation.

Speaker 6 (01:26:43):
If you don't have one, cav is gonna run across
street and really you got the key over that. You
already got the cardies on Orcade or somebody. Oh man,
I mean your sports guys.

Speaker 7 (01:26:56):
Yeah, many this weekend, by the way, Yeah, don't ask
me that, don't ask.

Speaker 44 (01:27:00):
The interview has been going well, no man, but yeah, man,
y'all y'all waited and deservedly for a long time to
have it too, a long time to have to have
a good team.

Speaker 42 (01:27:12):
Man.

Speaker 6 (01:27:12):
For a couple of years now, y'all have just been
trying to get over that hump.

Speaker 44 (01:27:15):
So you know, hopefully I'll make it. The pistols are good.
The pistols are good.

Speaker 16 (01:27:20):
You know what I say.

Speaker 6 (01:27:22):
Yeah, I just depend on my Paul at the time.
You know what I'm saying. You know, if y'all the
last team on that five leg, that's the greatest.

Speaker 7 (01:27:32):
That's Nelly from last night backstage at Little Caesars Arena
for our jingle Ball and ended the show with this song.

Speaker 6 (01:27:41):
End of the show with just a Dream.

Speaker 7 (01:27:43):
And if you go up on our social media, you
can see that he brought all of us up on stage.
His manager came to me right after that interview was
done and said, Nelly said that you mentioning that it
was the first song ever played on Channel nine five
five in Detroit, that that was such a special moment
for him to know that we could have picked any

(01:28:05):
artist we wanted to or any song at the time,
and we chose that. He said that he wanted to
bring all of us up on the stage. They brought
us all up on the stage and we are horrible dancers.

Speaker 6 (01:28:15):
Yeah, it's like I'm.

Speaker 8 (01:28:18):
Not gonna lie to but so fun.

Speaker 6 (01:28:20):
I mean I can lie.

Speaker 7 (01:28:21):
I had fun though, And it's one of those things
where you know how when you go to your aunt's
wedding and they play, or you know, cousin's wedding and
they play, what's that song?

Speaker 6 (01:28:31):
Celebrate Old times? Come up.

Speaker 7 (01:28:34):
I get on the dance floor and I swear to you,
I am a fifty five year old, fat white lady
from Wyandot.

Speaker 4 (01:28:41):
Were you doing the hand thing?

Speaker 6 (01:28:43):
I was doing.

Speaker 8 (01:28:44):
A typical moti, but I can.

Speaker 7 (01:28:46):
Imagine I look, I look good, man, I'm telling you
what I feel good. You know those people that don't
really honestly care how they look, That's what I'm like
when you get an Nelly song time.

Speaker 4 (01:28:59):
It was amazing.

Speaker 6 (01:29:02):
Yeah, it was amazing.

Speaker 7 (01:29:03):
So uh, thank you to everybody that helped put together
the jingle ball. Thank you everybody that worked their ass
off last night posting and making sure that our social
looked great, and.

Speaker 8 (01:29:12):
Thank you you did a great job.

Speaker 7 (01:29:14):
Bianca was great. The entire team, our social team that
came into.

Speaker 29 (01:29:18):
Maddie Xavier and Emily from Toledo as well.

Speaker 6 (01:29:21):
It was great.

Speaker 7 (01:29:22):
I mean, seriously amazing job. But also thanks to everybody
that came and fought through weather and nobody left early
because they didn't care. Actually, to be quite honest with you,
there were more people that were there and with us
at the end of the night than that were there
at the beginning of I think even the last jingle
Ball that we had when uh, you know, we had

(01:29:45):
a huge lineup of people. So and when we mentioned
and Shannon mentioned that actually there was a snow day,
everybody was so excited about them.

Speaker 6 (01:29:53):
All the kids were there with their their moms. So
it was a good family show. It's the second date
up date Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (01:30:00):
Are you not getting a callback? We're going to find
out this morning. Dylan's getting ghosted and doesn't know why. Dylan,
what's the story?

Speaker 6 (01:30:07):
Hi, what's up? Yeah?

Speaker 45 (01:30:11):
So I've been going out with this girl for like
a couple of weeks now, and uh, now I'm getting ghosted.

Speaker 8 (01:30:18):
Oh so this is not even just a first date
or a second date. Update. You've you've gone out on
a few dates.

Speaker 7 (01:30:24):
Uh yeah, okay, and it's been a couple of weeks
of you guys hanging out with each other. But then
all of a sudden, out of nowhere, now she's not
calling you back. And how long has that been since
she hasn't been calling you.

Speaker 6 (01:30:40):
It's been like a week now.

Speaker 7 (01:30:41):
Okay, So we're gonna find out what's going on. Is
there anything that happened the last couple of times that
you guys been together that might be an indicator of
something that you should kind of be worried about.

Speaker 6 (01:30:54):
Uh, No, it's been it's been good.

Speaker 7 (01:30:58):
So there's nothing that you said or did, because sometimes
that comes out when we do the second date update
and you're like, oh.

Speaker 4 (01:31:04):
Crap, when was the last time you saw her too?

Speaker 27 (01:31:08):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (01:31:09):
Went on the last date like ten days ago maybe, and.

Speaker 4 (01:31:14):
Did it end on a good note?

Speaker 6 (01:31:17):
I thought it went well. Molly is on with us
right now. Dylan say hi to Molly. He Hi, Yeah, Hey.
Doesn't sound as I mean, I get it.

Speaker 7 (01:31:32):
You're a little bit put off by the fact that
you're not getting a call back Molly.

Speaker 6 (01:31:37):
You sound so upbeat. Hi, Molly, how are you?

Speaker 36 (01:31:40):
Hi?

Speaker 5 (01:31:40):
Good?

Speaker 40 (01:31:41):
Her?

Speaker 6 (01:31:41):
Are you good? Dylan? You want to say hi to
Molly again? Hi? Not much so much, Molly.

Speaker 7 (01:31:51):
Dylan called us up, says that you guys haven't talked
in almost a couple of weeks here, but was wondering
if everything is okay.

Speaker 35 (01:32:02):
Yeah, I would even find for the.

Speaker 6 (01:32:04):
Most part, for the most part meaning.

Speaker 7 (01:32:08):
That you actually like him, or the most part meaning
you don't necessarily like him, and you're kind of looking
for an opportunity to just say, all right, we're done,
we're not gonna hang out anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:32:19):
Well, I like him, Okay, who doesn't like him?

Speaker 17 (01:32:26):
My parents aren't the biggest fan of him, but like,
I really enjoyed the dates we went on.

Speaker 8 (01:32:32):
Oh, he already met your parents?

Speaker 6 (01:32:35):
No?

Speaker 17 (01:32:35):
No, no, they haven't met yet.

Speaker 6 (01:32:37):
So how do they not like him if they haven't
met him yet?

Speaker 17 (01:32:41):
They found some photos of him on like social media
and the war the biggest fan.

Speaker 7 (01:32:48):
Okay, and so you're showing the pictures about him, Go ahead.

Speaker 6 (01:32:51):
Delan, what do you want to say? Are you serious?

Speaker 4 (01:32:54):
What kind of stuff do you post?

Speaker 12 (01:32:56):
Dylan?

Speaker 6 (01:32:58):
I mean, like, don't just like casual stuff? They do?

Speaker 9 (01:33:02):
They think he's unattractive or what's specifically about the photos
that they saw did they not really care for.

Speaker 17 (01:33:09):
They're not a super big fan of people who are
public about smoking or drinking, and they found a few
photoes like that. So they were kind of advising me that, like,
maybe he wasn't the best person.

Speaker 16 (01:33:21):
To go on dates with.

Speaker 6 (01:33:25):
Okay, So what can I ask you something?

Speaker 27 (01:33:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 20 (01:33:32):
So do you like do you do everything your parents say,
or like do you think for yourself? Or like I'm confused.

Speaker 17 (01:33:42):
Well, I mean they have good advice and they've been
married a while, so I usually like to take what
they have to say about another person in the consideration.

Speaker 10 (01:33:51):
Do you have an issue you haven't even with his
pictures that he's posting.

Speaker 17 (01:33:57):
Not really, I mean I do the same, I just
don't post about it. But I think you know, they
brought up some good points of like, you know, that's
something that you don't really want to put online and
should keep personal.

Speaker 7 (01:34:07):
How how old do you, Molly? If I if I
can ask that question, I just wanted to know how
old you are. I'm twenty two, so you're twenty two
years old. You're young enough your parents are still involved?
Actually Bianca either Bianca in the other ears. This is
an interesting one because you're a twenty two or twenty
three year old. Do your parents look up the people

(01:34:28):
that you like? I know you're in this relationship right now,
but would your parents look them up and see and
judge them from just social media?

Speaker 29 (01:34:36):
I don't think that they would look someone up, but
I know that like the person I'm talking to, their
parents like, look me up and see like what I'm doing,
and they're.

Speaker 6 (01:34:43):
Very vocal about it.

Speaker 7 (01:34:44):
So you kind of get it that Molly's parents have
a say so on this because you're also your parents
and his parents have kind of talked back and forth.

Speaker 6 (01:34:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 29 (01:34:52):
I think also like what you post too is kind
of a reflection who you are and like what you're
okay with posting. So if someone is like open about that,
I feel like it kind of puts a bad look
on that.

Speaker 7 (01:35:00):
So, Dylan, you know, here's Miyanka telling you that in
her case, what Molly's parents are doing is not unusual.

Speaker 6 (01:35:08):
I don't know, it sounds pretty unusual to me, honestly,
Like my parents wouldn't do that.

Speaker 10 (01:35:13):
Smoking and drinking are both legal. You're twenty two years old,
unless you're you know, wilden out dumping champagne down somebody's
shirt or something.

Speaker 4 (01:35:23):
I feel like it's not that big of a video.

Speaker 7 (01:35:24):
Please tell me, Uh, Dylan, you don't have like a
picture in front of like a car or something like
that on your social Like I would think I would
rather my guys smoke or drink than you know how
the typical guy pic of a guy like in front
of a motorcycle or I do, like I kind.

Speaker 8 (01:35:40):
Of get where the parents are coming from.

Speaker 9 (01:35:43):
Yeah, Like, I don't know what the pictures are. And
if it's you, like, you know, out with your guy
friends and you're all holding a drink, that's one thing.
If it's you, like getting stoned and you posted a
photo or video on social media, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:35:56):
I think that.

Speaker 8 (01:35:56):
Would kind rub me the wrong way too.

Speaker 9 (01:35:58):
Whether you you do that in your personal life for now,
I don't care, but like the posting.

Speaker 8 (01:36:02):
Of it, I kind of get.

Speaker 45 (01:36:04):
But I mean, I'm not like doing anything crazy, you know.
It's just like, you know, pictures of me with my
friends and whatever.

Speaker 9 (01:36:12):
Molly, if your parents hadn't said anything to you about this,
would you continue to date him?

Speaker 25 (01:36:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (01:36:18):
I would do with things.

Speaker 6 (01:36:20):
Hey, Tim, would you want to say, h second date? Updates? Time?

Speaker 16 (01:36:24):
I'm gonna check out plenty of fish. This was probably
about eight years ago, and she lived or she works,
maybe a mile a mile and a half before where
I lived. And it took me about two and a
half much to meter to make a long story show
her and I have a child together, or seven year
old son together. Her parents have never met me. Grandparents
never met me. They don't like me because the criminal

(01:36:46):
history from twenty years ago.

Speaker 6 (01:36:48):
How did they know about the criminal history.

Speaker 16 (01:36:51):
Because I she was opening and I was with her parents.

Speaker 7 (01:36:55):
Okay, so they haven't met you, but they know that
you got a past. I would probably be a little
bit worried if I it was a dad, give me
preparatory to you to explain. Okay, what's there to explain?
Explain it to me? What did you do in your
criminal past?

Speaker 16 (01:37:15):
There's there's a lot of stuff from my criminal past.

Speaker 6 (01:37:17):
I mean, stayed halloway from my daughter.

Speaker 7 (01:37:21):
At that point right there, Tim, You're gone, no, no, no, no, no, no, listen,
there's a lot of things in my criminal past. Dad,
Have you said that to a father? A father's going
to run your ass out of that house, Amanda.

Speaker 6 (01:37:34):
What's going on? Is moch on in the morning?

Speaker 18 (01:37:36):
Good morning all you tired people?

Speaker 6 (01:37:39):
I know.

Speaker 46 (01:37:40):
Yes, So I just wanted to say this guy, he
was doing good until he made that last comment, these
last comments about do.

Speaker 21 (01:37:51):
You always listen to your parents? Do you think for yourself?
God forbid, she has parents that care about her, her
well being, her future. I wish my.

Speaker 46 (01:37:58):
Parents they have never given me dating advice, never cared
who I dated.

Speaker 6 (01:38:04):
That is a beautiful thing, do you dy?

Speaker 20 (01:38:07):
You're an adult, you should be thinking for yourself for.

Speaker 46 (01:38:12):
Decisions a very young child, a young adult is still
a child in many ways. So for you to be
rude to her and demean her like that, that's rude.

Speaker 9 (01:38:20):
I do agree with you to an extent. She needs
to make her own decisions. However, you know, and I
speak for myself here, but I feel like in this
case it's the same. I have always valued what my
parents thought about my relationships, and it wasn't one hundred
percent that I always listen to them, but I definitely
take that into account. It's a factor when I you know,

(01:38:40):
whenever I was dating somebody that I wanted my family
and my friends to like that person.

Speaker 6 (01:38:45):
Hey, Eric, what did you want to say? So?

Speaker 40 (01:38:48):
Yeah, I'm thirty three years old.

Speaker 24 (01:38:50):
I've had both media since I was sixteen, and uh,
I'm kind of siding with parents on this one because
even at sixteen years old, I knew that, Like.

Speaker 33 (01:39:00):
Hey, I probably should because because when you wantever, you post.

Speaker 47 (01:39:03):
Anything out there, you don't know who's going to look
at it, and whatever you post, that's your first impression.

Speaker 11 (01:39:09):
Yep.

Speaker 33 (01:39:10):
And so like if you're building your brand that hey, yeah,
I like to smoke and drink, and then you know
that's cool.

Speaker 16 (01:39:16):
To do and everything like that.

Speaker 43 (01:39:18):
It's fine, you know it's legal or legal back then,
but it's that's.

Speaker 13 (01:39:23):
Your first impression.

Speaker 33 (01:39:24):
And if your first impression is all this guy just
like smoking drink all the time. Like I'm not saying
like I'm perfect, Like if I like a picture with alcohol,
I have a beer in my hand, but I'm not
like sitting there hugging a beer bong.

Speaker 7 (01:39:35):
Real quick, Eric, stay with us, and one day ask
a question about the smoking and drinking.

Speaker 6 (01:39:39):
What was your question? An kind?

Speaker 11 (01:39:41):
Good morning?

Speaker 21 (01:39:41):
I actually have a couple of questions.

Speaker 27 (01:39:43):
So how often do you took the smoke? And how
often are you posting both picks on social media?

Speaker 6 (01:39:48):
That's a good question, like how often are you posting
that stuff?

Speaker 5 (01:39:51):
So I literally have no no, no, Dylan.

Speaker 6 (01:39:54):
Let me ask any oh, let me ask yan. Yeah,
I'm how often do I drink and smokes? Yeah and
post it? Oh and post it?

Speaker 20 (01:40:06):
I don't know, like once every two months?

Speaker 6 (01:40:09):
Maybe?

Speaker 4 (01:40:09):
My gosh, there.

Speaker 7 (01:40:12):
But there's plenty of pictures for them to scroll back
and look at.

Speaker 6 (01:40:16):
Yeah, but none of them are like that bad. Yeah,
like Dylan, how old are you? Twenty two? Okay, twenty two?
All right, so you guys are both.

Speaker 18 (01:40:25):
Twenty two, you know that young era going.

Speaker 17 (01:40:28):
Out and stuff.

Speaker 7 (01:40:29):
I mean, honestly, twenty two, so should be old enough
to figure out that you probably don't necessarily need to
post like those pictures to make yourself look like you're
having a good time. But still, Molly, as a parent
and as somebody who wished my parents were there for
me a little bit more, I would say to you,

(01:40:51):
you got a good mom and dad, and you'll know
when your parents have overstepped the lines and the idea
that they say they don't get a good feeling about.

Speaker 6 (01:40:58):
Dylan.

Speaker 7 (01:40:59):
You're the ultimate decision maker on whether or not you're
gonna continue something. I give you respect for the fact
that you actually though appreciate.

Speaker 4 (01:41:07):
Their opinion, but don't be afraid to think for yourself.

Speaker 7 (01:41:10):
Girl, No, no, we want Anna to listen more to
her parents. You should see some of the guys that
she hangs out with.

Speaker 4 (01:41:18):
Her actually put tequila on my head.

Speaker 7 (01:41:21):
Actually, to be honest with you, Molly, will your parents
look at some of the guys that Anna's hanging out
with I'd like to get their opinion on those.

Speaker 6 (01:41:28):
All right, Anna's looking down right now, She's not looking
at me.

Speaker 4 (01:41:33):
Can't know.

Speaker 6 (01:41:39):
A second date update and more the roses.

Speaker 2 (01:41:42):
This is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 7 (01:41:45):
All right, we got the uh contest grabs Santa Sack
right now. I keep thinking of jingle ball tickets and
the jingle ball was last night. You know, you get
so used to the routine. Well, this good is gonna
be good because it's gonna be a routine for the
next few weeks until the holidays. Grab Santa Sack your
share of five thousand dollars from Santa Steve over at

(01:42:06):
Zodford and Holly, you know the guy that we call
Steve Gabara in Zodford in Holly, Jolly, Michigan, giving you
an opportunity to win a share of five thousand dollars
or Lions tickets. Call now eight four four Mojo Live,
be the ninety fifth collar and you can reach inside
Santa Sack and grab something.

Speaker 5 (01:42:26):
Jordan the mornings Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 7 (01:42:28):
I think we need more than just egg white bites
and a couple McDonald sandwiches. We need like a Coney
breakfast with something. I didn't eat it all last night,
like I ate lunch and then went down hung out
at uh.

Speaker 4 (01:42:46):
I saw you eat some candy?

Speaker 6 (01:42:47):
I did? I had? I had?

Speaker 9 (01:42:49):
Where was it gummies or something like that, like actual
gummies like gummy worms?

Speaker 45 (01:42:54):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (01:42:55):
Edibles?

Speaker 7 (01:42:55):
No, if I had gummy edibles, I would have literally
been like eating human beings. It would have been it
would have been one of those days. I've never thought
of that ever before. Be like the Walking Dead. What's
going on, Shannon? This hour's dirty.

Speaker 8 (01:43:09):
I'm just going to be very frank with you, kind
of a slow dirty. Is it really guys?

Speaker 9 (01:43:13):
Okay, yeah, your sources are. It's just, you know, not
a ton going on. I did hear that or I
did see that. Wendy Williams lawyer Joe Tacopina said she's
going to be out of her conservatorship by the end
of the year. And this has been like a big
old mess because supposedly she was diagnosed with fronto temporal dementia.

Speaker 8 (01:43:34):
Then it was determined.

Speaker 9 (01:43:36):
By a top neurologist that she doesn't actually have FTP
and that she's like, she's fine, She's doing okay.

Speaker 6 (01:43:46):
This is joke. By the way, the plan is this.
There are guardianship attorneys and we're watching and waiting.

Speaker 2 (01:43:53):
They've assured Wendy by years then she'll be out of guardianship.

Speaker 6 (01:43:56):
No guardianship should feel like a sentence. And on the
Wendy's does yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:44:02):
He said, if, if it should happen that that is
not the case, He's going to demand a jury trial
to make sure that she gets out of a The
Duchess of Sussex, Megan Markel, reportedly sent a letter to
her very ill dad in the hospital after he all
but pleaded with her for some sort of contact, saying
he doesn't want to die. While they were estrange, they

(01:44:25):
haven't actually talked in years. The eighty one year old
currently recovering in a hospital in the Philippines after undergoing
a three hour life saving operation to remove his foot
and lower leg had a complete amputation. He said he
dreams of seeing not only Meghan, but his son in law,
Prince Harry, and his grandkids Archie he's already six, and

(01:44:46):
little Bit who's already four. Before it's too late. So
I'm told Meghan sent him some sort of email. I
guess it was an email address that he no longer
uses or doesn't have access to anymore. So she wrote
this letter and the letter has made its way to him.
So maybe some healing in that relationship.

Speaker 8 (01:45:04):
And lastly, some controversy.

Speaker 9 (01:45:06):
If you use Instacart, the shopping app, just got busted
for charging people vastly different prices for identical items. This
according to a study led by Consumer Reports, the pricing differentials,
you guys, could be worth as much as twelve hundred
dollars a year to a family if you use Instacart

(01:45:26):
for shopping frequently. So let me give you the example
here in one case, for for like you anna, a
box of cheerios would cost you four dollars and ninety
nine cents. If Mojo bought that same box of cheerios
from the same store on Instacart, it could cost him
six dollars and twelve cents.

Speaker 8 (01:45:43):
And it's basically like they're it's.

Speaker 9 (01:45:45):
Dynamic pricing, So they are they're using like household demographics, income, sex,
age to adjust prices dynamically, and that's how they were
getting away with it. I don't think that's going to
be the case anymore.

Speaker 6 (01:46:01):
And I will go on record to say this.

Speaker 7 (01:46:03):
They do that, but then don't I guess geographically and
demographically lower prices for those that they know may have
not enough money to buy. So if there was a
little bit of a case where they said, and I
think it would be amazing if a company did this, Hey,
we understand from seeing what you're buying that if you

(01:46:25):
guys had more opportunity to be able to buy something,
you'd be able to do it and free things up
and make the prices lower. And nobody's going to do that,
right because they're going to What they're doing is they're
looking at you and they're seeing that you have of
an abundance of probably orders, and they're just jacking the price.

Speaker 8 (01:46:40):
Now what you know, what you've been buying.

Speaker 7 (01:46:43):
In the areas of town that you order from. And
can I tell you what I think should happen. Stores
like Whole Foods that are some of those stores that
are more expensive should pull themselves off of places.

Speaker 6 (01:46:53):
Like instacarts and things like that.

Speaker 7 (01:46:56):
You know, I think that what they should do is
they should say, hey, you know what, we don't want
any heart of this anymore. That's why I love Kroger Delivery,
and I know that Kroger now is doing door dash,
but Kroger Delivery is like, it's it.

Speaker 4 (01:47:07):
I just switched to it.

Speaker 7 (01:47:08):
It's amazing and they have the items they you don't
ever have to worry about a missing item.

Speaker 9 (01:47:13):
Yeah, if you miss anything from today's show, you can
always go back and catch up on those podcasts on
the free.

Speaker 2 (01:47:17):
I heard it's Most in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (01:47:26):
Dirty, you're calling manor.

Speaker 6 (01:47:31):

Clair Shore's.

Speaker 32 (01:47:34):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 6 (01:47:37):
How are you doing. You're doing all right?

Speaker 2 (01:47:40):
Yeah, I'm good.

Speaker 21 (01:47:41):
How about you?

Speaker 7 (01:47:41):
Good Courtney. This contest makes me blush. It's called grab
Santa Sack? Are you okay with grabbing Santa Sack and
reaching in there and grabbing something?

Speaker 21 (01:47:52):
I'm ready?

Speaker 6 (01:47:53):
Okay? All right? Are we a married lady or do
we have somebody in your life?

Speaker 18 (01:47:59):
I'm married?

Speaker 6 (01:48:00):
Okay, what's that guy's name?

Speaker 24 (01:48:03):
Michael?

Speaker 7 (01:48:04):
Tell Michael, we apologize that you're going to be reaching
into Santa hold on, here we go.

Speaker 41 (01:48:08):
Oh, it's time to reach into Santa Sack with Mojo
in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (01:48:15):
Hey, yes, thank you, Santa. This is an opportunity for
you to win some money. Your share of five thousand
dollars or possibly lions tickets Courtney, reach into Santa Sack.

Speaker 25 (01:48:31):
I think I have some tasks.

Speaker 2 (01:48:34):
Boy, you've got cold hands.

Speaker 41 (01:48:38):
Two hundred and forty three dollars.

Speaker 7 (01:48:45):
Look at that, two hundred and forty three dollars. Congratulations
to you, Thank you. I don't know where these numbers
come from, but these numbers are interesting.

Speaker 6 (01:48:55):
I like that.

Speaker 25 (01:48:56):
Hey, it's awesome, it's awesome. Thank you so much.

Speaker 7 (01:48:59):
In seventhread, it was eight hundred and seven dollars. Two
hundred and forty three dollars. I hope we're rounding up
and giving you an opportunity to continue to win again.
Tomorrow morning seven thirty and eight thirty, be listening to
the Mojo in the Morning show for your opportunity. Have
a very merry Christmas.

Speaker 27 (01:49:15):
Thank you too.

Speaker 6 (01:49:16):
All right, hang on the phone for just one second.

Speaker 2 (01:49:19):
This will Joe for hr purposes is purely decorative this
time of year, much like Mojo's campbelltoe.

Speaker 6 (01:49:25):
This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (01:49:28):
I've seen your Facebook status. You're getting a dictionary for Christmas.

Speaker 8 (01:49:32):
Merry Christmas from Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 6 (01:49:36):
God, I'm so tired.

Speaker 10 (01:49:37):
I know, I know, we just keep passing yawning onto
each other. You yawned, and I yarned.

Speaker 6 (01:49:43):
You can't do it. I told Zach already.

Speaker 7 (01:49:44):
If Zach comes in here ever again and says all
I want is a bed, I'm going to punch him
and he's going to need a hospital bed.

Speaker 6 (01:49:53):
That's what he's going to need.

Speaker 7 (01:49:55):
Because I don't even want to think about being tired,
because one I do, I'm done and I got to
drive home too.

Speaker 6 (01:50:05):
I don't want to sound.

Speaker 8 (01:50:06):
Like this, but are you about to get crotchety?

Speaker 7 (01:50:11):
I'm gonna get crashyah, Zach's talking to me in my
ears right now. Just come in studio, Zach, so we
can all have a family meeting. Family meeting time. I'm
gonna get not crotchety, but I feel bad that yesterday
I did this whole crapping on our Christmas party, you know,
and how the Christmas party is is here. I want
to do a topic if I can, about have you

(01:50:32):
ever gone to a person's house for any kind of
a party and they didn't have either enough food or
any food, or they did not have any alcoholic beverages,
Like literally you go to their house sometimes in the summertime,
this happens more it's a deck crawl party and they go,

(01:50:57):
I got water.

Speaker 6 (01:50:59):
Would you like to have honor?

Speaker 7 (01:51:00):
Or they offer you chocolate milk or milk or or
juice or yeah, you would love that.

Speaker 6 (01:51:10):
I love chocolate milk.

Speaker 7 (01:51:12):
So I felt like last night I went to a
person's party and they had nothing. Yeah, they they they
didn't make enough food, like I felt like it was.
They went to Kroger and they bought the small charcuterie
board or fruit plate.

Speaker 6 (01:51:28):
And that was what we.

Speaker 10 (01:51:28):
Were talking about at Elsa or here, because I saw
both of the food spreads and I thought both of
them were pretty good.

Speaker 6 (01:51:35):
Where was the food at Elsa? So they had a bus,
a separate catering.

Speaker 12 (01:51:40):
Catering you had to go across the hall, like past
the stage into like the artists, and then you get
like a little ticket that you were supposed to hand
over and.

Speaker 6 (01:51:51):
Okay, can we have a conversation.

Speaker 7 (01:51:53):
Absolutely, we are the biggest broadcast entertainment company in the world.
Where iHeartMedia. This is Pittman, the man who created MTV
and VH one. The guy said he created the You
Got Mail for AOL. He brought twenty what is it?
Century twenty one Reality out of bankruptcy.

Speaker 8 (01:52:14):
Is iHeartMedia Guaranteed Human Exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:52:18):
We don't do little tickets. We go big.

Speaker 8 (01:52:22):
I actually went catering and I had zero ticket. I
just walked in there.

Speaker 6 (01:52:25):
You did.

Speaker 5 (01:52:26):
Well.

Speaker 6 (01:52:26):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 7 (01:52:28):
I this is what I envision and listen, if I've
got to take a pay cut, I'll take a pay
cut for this. I envision when we do jingle Ball
that we should have what it was the first couple
of years where we had that little area where we
have listeners that get a chance to, you know, go backstage.
We got clients to hang out. Like I'm tired of

(01:52:49):
coming to the radio station for client parties. I want
to have it all at jingle Ball. That was really
fun and I want this. I want the bar open.
I want at least some kind of salamis or cheeses
or something like that.

Speaker 6 (01:53:05):
Give me something to tide me over. Because it's a.

Speaker 4 (01:53:07):
Long we get winged, winged, like the turkey or.

Speaker 7 (01:53:15):
The puffy cheese things that they have, those little cheesy
triangle things. Okay, so, but but let me explain this
to you. What it does is it sends a message
to the artist. Look at these guys and when there's
food guess where the artists go.

Speaker 6 (01:53:33):
They go buy the food and to drink and then
they hang out.

Speaker 7 (01:53:36):
So they do the interviews with us, and then I
say to them, would you like a wing eding mister
Brent from Shine Out, I don't know.

Speaker 12 (01:53:44):
Something thought that was just a fun A pig and
a blanket, like a like a wing on the bone,
like chickens, like.

Speaker 7 (01:53:50):
A little.

Speaker 6 (01:53:55):
Like like I this is what I think.

Speaker 7 (01:53:57):
I think, and like, have you ever have you ever
been blessed enough to get invited to go into a
suite at an event?

Speaker 8 (01:54:05):
Yes, yeah, it's amazing.

Speaker 7 (01:54:07):
I've been in sweets before. And David Hall used to
do this all the time. And shout out to David Hall.
I even't talked to you in forever, and boyd you
should be advertising with us, David, because.

Speaker 6 (01:54:16):
I miss you.

Speaker 7 (01:54:17):
David Hall used to invite me to his suite at
Comerica Park and nobody put a better food spread on
than d Hall.

Speaker 6 (01:54:24):
It was the most amazing thing ever.

Speaker 7 (01:54:25):
Then I get invited to go to and I won't
say the name of the guy because it's his company,
his sweet and he literally had two little Caesar's pizzas
and a couple of pepsis No.

Speaker 6 (01:54:36):
No, and I'm like, that ain't a sweet.

Speaker 4 (01:54:39):
If you're getting a sweet, you gotta go all out.

Speaker 6 (01:54:41):
You gotta get bottle service.

Speaker 8 (01:54:42):
That part your eyes got so big.

Speaker 9 (01:54:45):
Did we have a sweet last night? Somebody said that
iHeart had a sweet last night.

Speaker 4 (01:54:50):
Parents were in a sweet, but it was ours really quick.

Speaker 12 (01:54:53):
To be fair, little Caesar's pizzas are just a little
more expensive at the venue, so that was an expensive
two pizzas.

Speaker 6 (01:55:01):
That's fourteen dollars. I'm sorry, Zach, so you didn't eat
it last night. I didn't need anything. I ate the dots.

Speaker 27 (01:55:08):
No.

Speaker 7 (01:55:08):
I well, like, first off, I got to the station
party at five thirty, and then I had to leave
at six thirty to get over to the venue so
I could be there by the seven twenty time or
whatever it was.

Speaker 6 (01:55:18):
So we didn't eat it all. We got downtown.

Speaker 7 (01:55:21):
I was there, I said to Chelsea, I go, I
they literally I have to go to the concession stand
on this on the third floor or whatever it is,
and go up there and get food. If I wanted food,
I asked Josh Innes, I go, Josh, you got a
beer in your hand. Where'd you get? He goes I
went to the concession stand about this fifteen dollars beer.
I'm like, I gotta buy a fifteen dollars freakin' beer.

Speaker 9 (01:55:39):
Yeah, because I think the catering and everything closed before
the show even started, so you wouldn't have made it
in time anyway.

Speaker 7 (01:55:45):
But I but here's the thing, and this is this
is literally no reflection on Tony Trovado, because I know
Tony likes to do things well. But Tony, this isn't
a Milford party. This is a downtown Detroit party. Milford's
you got. We got to pull out the old company
credit card and we got to make this. I guarantee
you that the Z one hundred jingle ball has food.

(01:56:10):
I guarantee you wingings. I know, I bet you they
got No, they don't do wing things. You know what
they do in New York, fancy food. They've got a
little like little sandwiches. Do you ever have a little sandwich?

Speaker 6 (01:56:23):
I've never.

Speaker 7 (01:56:23):
I'm not the real teeny sandwiches. You hold them with
two fingers and not the whole hands.

Speaker 6 (01:56:27):
He's out. You can do it if you'd like.

Speaker 8 (01:56:29):
Oh, yes, you should first neck because you know what
I did.

Speaker 9 (01:56:33):
I was smart. I felt I patted myself on the
back last night. I always get so hungry and the
way home from jingle Ball and I always stop at
whatever fast foods open. It's usually talk about every year,
and then I wake up feeling even crappier than I
feel this morning. So yesterday at catering, I saw that
they had the all the makings for peanut butter and
jelly sandwiches.

Speaker 8 (01:56:49):
Did you see me doing it?

Speaker 5 (01:56:50):
Oh?

Speaker 22 (01:56:50):
Yes?

Speaker 8 (01:56:51):
And so I made myself.

Speaker 6 (01:56:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (01:56:52):
So I made myself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
I wrapped it in a napkin. I took a can
of coke and some pretzels and I'm like this and
I put it in.

Speaker 7 (01:56:59):
My makings of a peanut butter and jeh Catering. We
invited Nelly and to come to this event, and we
offered him a chance to make his own peanut butter
and jelly sound it was delicious at twelve in the morning.

Speaker 6 (01:57:15):
I'm so embarrassed me.

Speaker 10 (01:57:17):
I noticed that Shannon is a jingle ball professional. She
came with a different set of shoes. By the time
we were off stage, she was in her pajamas.

Speaker 4 (01:57:26):
Thugs had this.

Speaker 10 (01:57:28):
Uh PB and Jay I was like, I'm taking notes
for next year.

Speaker 4 (01:57:31):
You're a professional.

Speaker 7 (01:57:32):
I asked the lady from uh Little Caesars. I go, hey,
if I gave you my credit card and started an account,
can we get food brought down here? The lady looked
at me like I was crazy. She goes, I'm security
and I said, well, can I grab something off there?
If I can take something because they had booze behind
the bar. Because the area that we were for anybody
that has the fun seats at Pistons or Red Wings games,

(01:57:54):
it was that really nice area where like the players
are walking some years some years that was open. Well,
we used to pay for that stuff, but we don't
do it anymore. And I'm telling you next year, I'll
put it on my credit card.

Speaker 8 (01:58:05):
If I have to, don't say those it will.

Speaker 7 (01:58:07):
Be my Christmas present everybody, because I don't want the
artist to walk away going yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:58:12):
I got a.

Speaker 7 (01:58:12):
Bag of pretzels and a freaking way.

Speaker 6 (01:58:15):
I had changed kids.

Speaker 7 (01:58:17):
No, I had channing up open four bottles of water
for me because there was no click me.

Speaker 8 (01:58:21):
We got to talk about this. There's a whole table there.

Speaker 9 (01:58:23):
There was a table with bottled water and then they
were like there were like candy, like bowls of candy. Okay,
so there's probably a hundred waters on this table and
Moja opens one and then I see him put it down,
doesn't even take a sip. So then he opens another one,
puts it down, doesn't take a sip. By finally look
at him and he goes the water's not it's not
making a click, like the cap isn't clicking when you
open it. And he goes, open a water and tell

(01:58:45):
me if it clicks, because I'm not drinking it.

Speaker 6 (01:58:46):
If it doesn't, who care.

Speaker 8 (01:58:49):
None of the water's clicked.

Speaker 7 (01:58:50):
That little Caesar's arena was refilling waters up for us.
They were given us absolute putiers that were absolutely not pure.

Speaker 6 (01:58:58):
What's up, Joe?

Speaker 28 (01:58:58):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (01:58:59):
How you doing good? How are you guys doing doing? Okay, Joe,
have you ever been to a party where there was
no food?

Speaker 13 (01:59:06):
Well?

Speaker 40 (01:59:07):
Actually, uh, funny enough.

Speaker 47 (01:59:10):
This year, me and my fiance decided to host Thanksgiving
because of a you know, my aunt passed away and.

Speaker 40 (01:59:19):
You know it's just kind of a different year.

Speaker 6 (01:59:20):
Okay, So we had it at our house.

Speaker 24 (01:59:23):
And we didn't even realize, you know, it was inviting
my mom, dad, you know, my other aunt, my brother
his fiance over.

Speaker 13 (01:59:32):
You know, we were.

Speaker 24 (01:59:33):
Like, oh shoot, we didn't even go buy any like
beer or wine or I mean, we had you know
what we have in you know, in our fridge.

Speaker 20 (01:59:42):
But you know, I'm not one of.

Speaker 40 (01:59:44):
Those guys that had like four cases.

Speaker 33 (01:59:46):
Of beer, you know in their fridge.

Speaker 6 (01:59:48):
That was everybody put off by this one.

Speaker 7 (01:59:50):
Was everybody thinking that the memory of your beautiful aunt
has gone for not because you did not have the
appropriate party pleasures.

Speaker 22 (02:00:02):
No, but they you know, they my family.

Speaker 33 (02:00:04):
You know, they're if they make fun of you or
kind of say something, you know, it's we're like that
type of family.

Speaker 6 (02:00:11):
And we're Italians.

Speaker 7 (02:00:12):
Okay, that's unusual. Italians always have plenty of food and drinks.
You must, you must be a bad Italian.

Speaker 16 (02:00:18):
Food just not the drink.

Speaker 6 (02:00:20):
We had, the food, just okay, drink. So Joe or
Joey or Joey or Joe.

Speaker 20 (02:00:26):
Either or all right, I'll call you Joe.

Speaker 7 (02:00:28):
I'll call you Joe because you sound like a nice guy.

Speaker 6 (02:00:31):
So Joey.

Speaker 7 (02:00:32):
You cannot invite people over to your house and not
have beverages. You gotta think of the beverages unless you
do a b y O b and they have to
go bring their own.

Speaker 9 (02:00:43):
Drinks, but at least give me a heads up that
I need to do that and grab something.

Speaker 6 (02:00:47):
Yeah you got there's a party store on every corner.

Speaker 16 (02:00:52):
Well not in Birmingham.

Speaker 7 (02:00:54):
Come on in Birmingham, Jesus, Oh my god, I'm fourteen.

Speaker 13 (02:00:59):
There's only make so many.

Speaker 6 (02:01:00):
But I mean, you know, are you a guy?

Speaker 7 (02:01:02):
Are you a guy that shouldn't be living in Birmingham?
You're paying too much money for your place and you
can't afford the uh the the party at Kutrema.

Speaker 13 (02:01:11):
Oh no, we can definitely afford it.

Speaker 9 (02:01:13):
Yeah, there's a Kroger in Birmingham, and Kruger is one
of the most affordable places to buy wine. And that
is coming from a friend of mine who works for
a wine distributor.

Speaker 40 (02:01:21):
Well, I absolutely agree with you, because you know, I
make my own red wine with my uncle and my
fiance loves the Chloe Pino Gradio.

Speaker 4 (02:01:30):
So okay, good one.

Speaker 7 (02:01:32):
Well, Joey, here's what's going to happen. And you know
that you're the person or you know family that doesn't
have enough food. If you ever see people come to
your house and they are bringing a boatload of food,
to your house saying, oh, I'll never come here empty handed.
They're coming there full handed because they're going to starve

(02:01:52):
if they come to your house and they depend on you.

Speaker 16 (02:01:56):
No, they won't.

Speaker 7 (02:01:57):
Starve, they just might go They just go thirsty, exactly
if they're drinking from the hose outside.

Speaker 6 (02:02:04):
They want some beverages, You get a cup.

Speaker 16 (02:02:09):
You get a cup.

Speaker 6 (02:02:11):
Here's a name on it. You only get one.

Speaker 7 (02:02:16):
By the way, it reminds me we have a guy,
a guy I won't say his last name, but uh Chad,
who was an old neighbor of ours, and he would
invite us over to his place.

Speaker 6 (02:02:28):
And this is no joke. There was enough food for
just each person that was there. There was not like
a second helping.

Speaker 7 (02:02:35):
So in you know me, like, I'm a big guy,
and so we would go up to make the plate
and I would grab my food and Chelsea would go,
you can't take two, you know breasts. I go, what
do you mean they're small? And she goes count the breast.
So I'm counting the breast and there were like eight
of us, and I'm like one, two, three, four, five, six,

(02:02:55):
seven eight.

Speaker 6 (02:02:59):
I had to give it to Chelsea gets the short
end of like, it's like.

Speaker 7 (02:03:04):
How do you go? How do you make it? You know,
we always have so much food. There's so much stuff there, Amanda,
what's going on?

Speaker 6 (02:03:11):
Hi?

Speaker 22 (02:03:13):
Hi, good morning guys.

Speaker 8 (02:03:14):
Morning.

Speaker 21 (02:03:15):
I actually, I actually just had a birthday party for
my cat. I know, don't I already know?

Speaker 18 (02:03:20):
But we provided a ton of food.

Speaker 39 (02:03:23):
There was cake, there was free boots. Like, you're not
like a host if.

Speaker 4 (02:03:27):
You don't provide those things.

Speaker 21 (02:03:29):
I'm sorry that happened to you.

Speaker 7 (02:03:30):
Guys, you had a birthday party for your cat. Let's
go back to that for a second.

Speaker 21 (02:03:35):
Yes, she turned seven.

Speaker 18 (02:03:37):
She's the most beautiful little kiddy.

Speaker 8 (02:03:39):
What food did you say?

Speaker 2 (02:03:41):
So?

Speaker 32 (02:03:41):
We we got.

Speaker 21 (02:03:43):
A bunch of wingstop.

Speaker 37 (02:03:44):
No, we got a bunch of wings stop for everybody,
a bunch of sides.

Speaker 18 (02:03:49):
We had sushi platters.

Speaker 27 (02:03:51):
We had a big old carrot cake.

Speaker 7 (02:03:53):
Dang wingings No wingstopp Hey, best parties have wings apparently.

Speaker 6 (02:04:03):
Yep, that's my stomach. What's up, Courtney, how you doing? Hi?

Speaker 22 (02:04:10):
Good morning, Mojo.

Speaker 16 (02:04:11):
You need to be playing like the burking and entering
background music.

Speaker 22 (02:04:14):
You need like a sad violin playing behind.

Speaker 6 (02:04:17):
This whoa, oh yeah, I do.

Speaker 22 (02:04:22):
I think it's kind of insulting that you didn't get
like this is your big year, your Hall of Famer,
this is your year.

Speaker 25 (02:04:28):
I think it's kind of insulting.

Speaker 22 (02:04:29):
Madn't give you like.

Speaker 16 (02:04:31):
Christmas party, like uh.

Speaker 7 (02:04:33):
Some at least food Courtney, I'm telling you. And it's yeah,
it's it's only going to get get worse. It seems
like I'm in twenty twenty six. I may be writing
a letter to breaking and entering Christmas wish on this one.

Speaker 32 (02:04:45):
And maybe you.

Speaker 7 (02:04:47):
Know what that could be that could be happening soon.
I promise I will. I'll buy the food next time.
If that's the case, I'll buy the food.

Speaker 9 (02:04:54):
Okay, remember yesterday you volunteered to tchair the holiday party
as well.

Speaker 6 (02:04:59):
I believe me.

Speaker 8 (02:04:59):
It's don't bite up more than you can choose her and.

Speaker 7 (02:05:02):
I will be the jingle Ball committee too for backstage
at the jingle.

Speaker 1 (02:05:05):
Ball Why Detroit SNX, Most and Grand Rabbits, Little five,
SNX and nine TM at Heart radio stations, Real people,
real lives, real fun.

Speaker 2 (02:05:20):
Mojo in the Morning guaranteed human.

Speaker 7 (02:05:23):
All Right, it is Mojo in the Morning, Anna and
Shannon myself cav is out today. We've got lydia Bianca Zach,
thank you guys for being here with us. Anna. So
he doesn't take care of himself? Are we talking about
not my man?

Speaker 4 (02:05:41):
Let's just be clear.

Speaker 6 (02:05:42):
When we talk about taking care of himself, are we
talking Oh?

Speaker 10 (02:05:45):
Of course his mind goes there. So I was out
this weekend with a bunch of friends. We were vibing.
We were playing a little DJ round robin, so people
were picking different songs, and every time it got to
one of my guy friends, he was picking the most
deep seen music. I'm like, what the heck is going on?
And he's like, I'm in my fields. The girl I
was talking to just ended it with me. I'm like, okay,

(02:06:08):
what's going on, let's talk about it then, let's let's
get you feeling better. He's like, I've never been told
this before, but she says I don't take care of
myself enough. And I'm like, oh, that's interesting because he
he's not like a terrible looking man, like I do
think right now, I do think let's describe. Let's describe it.

(02:06:29):
He's not a terrible looking man, but you do think
he would.

Speaker 4 (02:06:32):
I think he.

Speaker 10 (02:06:33):
Could dress better. I'm gonna send you guys. I think
he could dress better. I think maybe he could keep
up with his hair a little more. But like he's
a very successful man.

Speaker 8 (02:06:43):
His girlfriend.

Speaker 4 (02:06:45):
Yeah, but like to me, I don't know if is
that enough.

Speaker 10 (02:06:49):
I mean, I guess she's not attracted to him, but
she she cut it off with him because.

Speaker 7 (02:06:52):
She cut it off because he wasn't uh, he wasn't
a trophy.

Speaker 4 (02:06:58):
Enough for her, I guess.

Speaker 8 (02:07:00):
Or Okay, but it might not even be that.

Speaker 9 (02:07:02):
What if it's like he doesn't brush his teeth, he
doesn't wear order, and he doesn't shower regularly. You know,
maybe it's that that he like truly doesn't take care
of himself.

Speaker 10 (02:07:10):
I would understand if it was that, because I don't
think some of those you can fix. But like this,
this man has money, take him to the store and
buy him some clothes, or like he can get a haircut.

Speaker 8 (02:07:20):
Ah, that's easibly easily.

Speaker 6 (02:07:22):
The guy were talking here, what how old?

Speaker 4 (02:07:24):
Like forties?

Speaker 7 (02:07:25):
So he's forties and he doesn't go get haircuts, he
doesn't dress nice clothes.

Speaker 4 (02:07:31):
Hey, this man's name on air?

Speaker 6 (02:07:33):
Please are you gonna like show us a picture?

Speaker 1 (02:07:35):
Though?

Speaker 4 (02:07:35):
Yeah, I just said you was Instagram you did.

Speaker 7 (02:07:36):
Okay, I want to see what he looks like all right,
hold on a second, I'm gonna check this out.

Speaker 4 (02:07:42):
I mean you'll see him and like, yeah he probably could.

Speaker 8 (02:07:45):
Oh yeah yeah yeah, yeah, he doesn't haircut.

Speaker 5 (02:07:52):
This is our guy.

Speaker 4 (02:07:53):
He's a super nice guy, very successful.

Speaker 8 (02:07:56):
Yeah, you know what he reminds me of.

Speaker 9 (02:07:58):
You know when you see like those people people that
rescue dogs and they take them in off the streets
and they're like very very overgrown, and then they he
looks like the dog groomer and then they look all
spiffy and cute.

Speaker 4 (02:08:12):
Yeah, like you do that with him.

Speaker 7 (02:08:14):
So he's he's a big dude. First off, this this
is my favorite, the picture of him. Yeah, eating sloppily
eating a burger.

Speaker 8 (02:08:21):
He's cute. He could he could be cute, and.

Speaker 6 (02:08:26):
Good job Shannon's being nice. He ain't cute.

Speaker 4 (02:08:29):
So where do we draw the line?

Speaker 6 (02:08:30):
Because first off, what does he got hiding in his beard?
How much?

Speaker 5 (02:08:34):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (02:08:37):
When's the last time he's shampooed that thing? Oh my god?
He doesn't take care of him.

Speaker 7 (02:08:42):
Are there any Are there any listeners that have ever
dated somebody and they didn't take care of themselves, like.

Speaker 8 (02:08:48):
In a hiding kind of way.

Speaker 6 (02:08:50):
Well yeah, or they they were horrible. They were horrible dressed.

Speaker 7 (02:08:53):
You finally were fed up, or maybe you're currently with
him and you're almost fed up with the way that
they are where you're like, I just want somebody that's
clean and nice, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (02:09:03):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 10 (02:09:04):
Like after that happened, I was thinking in my head,
like why doesn't he just go get a haircut or something?

Speaker 4 (02:09:09):
Maybe he likes it?

Speaker 6 (02:09:11):
Like this, Are you attracted to this guy?

Speaker 42 (02:09:13):
No?

Speaker 6 (02:09:13):
I mean, but like, would you be attracted if you
didn't know him like by looks or.

Speaker 10 (02:09:17):
No, I do like his personality, so he's got okay,
but Mojo said by looks, yeah, but.

Speaker 4 (02:09:23):
I would need to see the hair. I would need
to see something done.

Speaker 10 (02:09:25):
And the clothes are huge to me, Like I'm just
big into guys that have a really good style and
like wear cool shoes and stuff.

Speaker 4 (02:09:32):
And he doesn't do that.

Speaker 6 (02:09:34):
But what kind of shoes as he usually were?

Speaker 4 (02:09:37):
Like Air Force ones?

Speaker 6 (02:09:39):
Okay, Well are they clean or no?

Speaker 4 (02:09:41):
Yeah they are they are clean of course?

Speaker 6 (02:09:43):
All right?

Speaker 7 (02:09:43):
Eight four four Mojo Live or if you've got something
to add to this topic, or maybe you want to
give a comment on this guy that is having a
hard time keeping his girl because he doesn't take care
of himself. Text call me to nine five five zero zero.
I think we've all gone through well, No, I don't
think you guys have. I've gone through stages where I
didn't take care of myself, and I always wondered why

(02:10:05):
my wife ever, you know, stayed with me. But I
don't think I ever smelled like I don't think it
ever came down to that. But I do think that
there's times where you just become a fat, sloppy pig.

Speaker 4 (02:10:16):
I was gonna say, why weren't you taking care of yourself?

Speaker 6 (02:10:18):
I think I was happy, I think, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 7 (02:10:21):
Like, it's one of those things where I think that
when you're when you get comfortable, comfortability breaths, you know that.
But then I would look back on it and realize
I probably wasn't as happy as I thought I was.
You know, I probably at that time was going through
something where I was using an abuse in myself.

Speaker 10 (02:10:38):
That's what I'm thinking with this guy, Like, is there
a deeper reason that he just doesn't care?

Speaker 7 (02:10:42):
Yeah, Baby leg Jay is on with us right now.
Mojo in the morning, misfit. He know I was called
baby leg, Jay Anna, Rob doesn't know well because he
has got the unit that's like a baby's leg.

Speaker 6 (02:10:55):
What's going on, Jay?

Speaker 16 (02:10:58):
Are you doing good day?

Speaker 42 (02:11:00):
Jay?

Speaker 6 (02:11:00):
What do you think about a guy that doesn't take
care of himself?

Speaker 42 (02:11:03):
The guy suppose to always look presentable no matter what.
And if you and if y'all in the relationship, each
person is a representative of y'all relationship.

Speaker 6 (02:11:17):
You get what I'm saying.

Speaker 42 (02:11:18):
So I would I'm not going to go out there
looking raggedy, and I wouldn't expect her to go.

Speaker 6 (02:11:22):
Out to look ragty either. You know, y'all are supposed
to look good, you know, give some people to talk about.

Speaker 7 (02:11:28):
It does blow me away sometimes when I see a
woman that is out with a guy that is like
either way underdressed or kind of looks a little sloppy,
maybe doesn't have style, And I'm like, God, she must
love this guy for either a his money or his heart.

Speaker 10 (02:11:44):
I don't know, Like j is there ever a world
where a woman might not, you know, be taking care
of herself, but you liked her so you would give
it a shot and help her take care of herself?

Speaker 16 (02:11:57):
Of course?

Speaker 4 (02:11:58):
Okay?

Speaker 38 (02:11:59):
If because because because because because sometimes It depends on
a woman as well. If she if you know, if
I look like you know she people, Okay, let me
help her out a little bit or whatnot, you know,
might be a good one.

Speaker 6 (02:12:13):
Would you ever be with a woman? Baby leg jay
that smelled down there?

Speaker 42 (02:12:18):
Never?

Speaker 6 (02:12:19):
Okay? Because never?

Speaker 42 (02:12:20):
You want to know?

Speaker 16 (02:12:21):
Well, because I'll be bad there.

Speaker 6 (02:12:22):
I get it, I understand it.

Speaker 3 (02:12:26):
Uh you know?

Speaker 27 (02:12:28):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (02:12:28):
Well, I I will tell you that. That would be
an awkward conversation to tell somebody. I don't know if
anybody's ever had to. You'll have to call us page.

Speaker 6 (02:12:35):
What's up?

Speaker 13 (02:12:36):
Hi, Mojoe?

Speaker 21 (02:12:37):
First time on time Page.

Speaker 6 (02:12:41):
Cav's out sick today? What's happen?

Speaker 22 (02:12:44):
So you were talking about dating gross people and I
just had to call in.

Speaker 21 (02:12:49):
My ex boyfriend actually ate his iboogers.

Speaker 30 (02:12:53):
That's too much, Yeah, take up in the morning, take
them off and put them right in as.

Speaker 5 (02:12:59):
Though, Like.

Speaker 6 (02:13:02):
Quick question for you, how long did you stay with
this guy?

Speaker 9 (02:13:05):
He's an ex now, but how long are you did
he try to secretly do that or he just didn't
care that you were watching him do that?

Speaker 21 (02:13:13):
He was open about it. He'd pull him off and
be like, oh this is a good one.

Speaker 4 (02:13:17):
Oh, my god, it's so gross.

Speaker 7 (02:13:19):
Could I be honest with you, I'd rather have him
eat his eye boogers than his booger boogers.

Speaker 6 (02:13:23):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 21 (02:13:24):
I don't know, Mojo, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:13:27):
That's pretty wild. What's up, Melissa? Oh? I lost? Alyssa?

Speaker 16 (02:13:34):
Oh?

Speaker 7 (02:13:35):
Alyssa said it was on the callscreen board that her
ex didn't shower or wear deodorant for weeks.

Speaker 6 (02:13:42):
What did she say? Why they finally broke up? Uh
lydia or did we not get to that point?

Speaker 4 (02:13:47):
I'm tired of the boys breast smelled.

Speaker 6 (02:13:51):
So the breath was they Can I tell you something?

Speaker 7 (02:13:54):
I know girls and their girls that are friends with
guy friends of mine where the guy's mouths smell so bad,
Like I have some guy friends that have like that
musty helatosis type smell and they're but well, no, I'd
rather have smoke. They literally smell like rotten a hole.
And the guys are good looking guys, like they're way

(02:14:16):
better looking than I am, but their breath smells like No,
they have girlfriends And I sit there and I wonder
to myself, I'm like, why are you kissing that guy?

Speaker 6 (02:14:26):
Like?

Speaker 8 (02:14:26):
They're good?

Speaker 6 (02:14:26):
They're beautiful women. I'm like, why are you doing this?
But they're with them. I don't know.

Speaker 7 (02:14:33):
All right, can we continue the topic if you've got
another call for us or two, we'll do that and
a couple of friends.

Speaker 5 (02:14:39):
COM's Dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 2 (02:14:42):
But first coming up on you in the morning.

Speaker 6 (02:14:45):
You'll hear this.

Speaker 7 (02:14:46):
Oh, this is one that I want to do, but
I want to make sure that no kids are listening.
I'll for warn be ahead of time. Friends of mine's
eight year old son just learned the Big Secret and
it was because something that this kid saw on YouTube.
I'll explain coming up here in just a little bit,

(02:15:06):
and then I want to ask that question of who
blew the secret? The big holiday secret for you, We'll
have that the Dirty and a chance for you to
see Cardi B. We're doing Morgan Wallin and Cardi Be
tickets this morning on the show.

Speaker 1 (02:15:20):
I had the Mojo in the Morning show to your
presets on our free iHeart video app.

Speaker 6 (02:15:25):
I never missed the show.

Speaker 2 (02:15:29):
If you like this weather, come on over here so
I can give you a face wash.

Speaker 5 (02:15:33):
It's just Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (02:15:35):
I don't even care if we get in trouble, you know,
I don't care because we showed up to work today
on the worst weather traffic day day after our big
jingle Ball. We got here with three hours less of sleep,
and I was complaining about food, and look what happens, and.

Speaker 15 (02:15:52):
Ask, ask, and you shall receives the right person's listening.

Speaker 7 (02:15:56):
If you're in Detroit, you know of America Coney Island,
the best Coney Island in the world, and Grace hurt
us bitching and winingd.

Speaker 15 (02:16:07):
Diving in on lodge crap coming from where I am
out in West Moonfield. But as I get down here,
it's all I get to the story. I get my
general manager. We're not even open it. We opened it
ten today. I'm like, quick, quick, get on that grill,
put them together, to the fries, drop the fries.

Speaker 6 (02:16:20):
Anyways, here we are, I'm like hungry.

Speaker 8 (02:16:23):
They need some food. So wonderful you guys.

Speaker 15 (02:16:27):
Are you need some you know, greasy food after some cocktails?

Speaker 7 (02:16:30):
Or well, can I tell you something? Last night it
was one of those things where if it wasn't sleeting
and snowing and rainy, it was a perfect night where
you go to say, I don't know a concert like
we did jingle Ball or a sporting event like a
Pistons game or whatever. And the thing that you want
to do is you want to go over to American
Coney Island and you want to get yourself something to eat,

(02:16:50):
and thought about it. Actually it's funny because I think
Chelsea and I were both in the in the car
going all right, let's just do it. Let's just maybe,
you know, and then we're like no, because then we'll
hate ourselves tomorrow. So guess what, I'm going to hate
myself this afternoon.

Speaker 15 (02:17:03):
You won't because you need it. It's going to help you.
It feels so much better. I mean, it is the holidays,
and you know what, we can do that too, write
we can do it. Would you like to be sound
like you do it every day? Would you like to
sponsor our Christmas party for next year?

Speaker 8 (02:17:16):
I've heard chairs, a party and a half.

Speaker 6 (02:17:20):
I will throw you the party of all parties I
actually have.

Speaker 8 (02:17:23):
I bet you would be a party.

Speaker 15 (02:17:25):
People tell me I should have been like a party
planner in a different life.

Speaker 11 (02:17:29):
Well, I love doing that.

Speaker 6 (02:17:30):
Can we plan a party in Vegas?

Speaker 38 (02:17:32):
We can do that?

Speaker 8 (02:17:33):
To my God, we can make it all work.

Speaker 7 (02:17:35):
I've been wanting to do one of those trips to
like the d Casino and American, And we have the two.

Speaker 8 (02:17:41):
Restaurants in Circa.

Speaker 6 (02:17:42):
Do you really know we?

Speaker 15 (02:17:43):
Well, we have for the since twenty one. We have
Victory Burger and Wings. It's Circa and we feed the
four thousand seat pool.

Speaker 6 (02:17:51):
How do I know you for as long as I've
known you?

Speaker 9 (02:17:54):
And I have no clue because I think our boss
just stayed there a couple of weeks.

Speaker 7 (02:17:58):
Yeah, because I'm kind of an idiot. Yeah, you've tied
telling me the other end. Now, Chelsea's got another thing
to say to me. She's like, see what Grace did.

Speaker 8 (02:18:07):
Looked great by the way I saw that. Thank you
look beautiful. You all you all look you guys, all
of you.

Speaker 6 (02:18:13):
It's like it's a typical guy thing. It's in one
era and out theater.

Speaker 4 (02:18:16):
That's okay.

Speaker 29 (02:18:16):
I do know.

Speaker 11 (02:18:16):
It doesn't bother me.

Speaker 6 (02:18:17):
It's typically all right. So what do we got? What
do we eat in here?

Speaker 3 (02:18:20):
Well?

Speaker 15 (02:18:20):
You got Coney's.

Speaker 6 (02:18:21):
You have fries.

Speaker 8 (02:18:21):
You have chili cheese fries.

Speaker 11 (02:18:23):
Honestly, the chili cheese fries.

Speaker 6 (02:18:25):
That's the thing. After some cocktails.

Speaker 15 (02:18:27):
Now, I bought a cony kit and we shipped these
out for the holidays. So when do you take it home?
Go to American Cooney Island dot com. Yeah, it'll guide
you to gold Belly. Gold Belly is like our host
you know, have food company. They're awesome, and order your
cony kit send it.

Speaker 6 (02:18:42):
For a gift. All right.

Speaker 7 (02:18:42):
So if you got friends or family that moved out
of here and you want to send them something, you
want to give them a little gift. Yes, it's funny
because I always laughed, Joe wants cony kits all the time.

Speaker 6 (02:18:52):
So Chelsea will get them cony kits.

Speaker 7 (02:18:53):
Yeah, No, they they and actually they went last night,
so they were They went before the show, American before
the show.

Speaker 6 (02:19:00):
So love you, Grace, Thank you for comment. Thank you

Speaker 9 (02:20:31):
Okay, I don't really watch it either, but I know
that people who do are like super fans, and I'm
hearing that there is a ton of friction among the
cast members of Euphoria.

Speaker 8 (02:20:41):
Jacob Ellerty, Sidney Sweeney's and Deya.

Speaker 9 (02:20:45):
Everybody like not on good terms and are dreading having
to promote the upcoming season together.

Speaker 8 (02:20:51):
And everybody's busy.

Speaker 9 (02:20:52):
Everybody has personal commitments, which is making it really difficult
for them to find time to resolve their difference. Is
before all of these promotional events start, and I mean
it's like the talk shows, the you know, the press events,
the red carpets, all those things. Zendaya, I'm told ready
to move on from any sort of working relationship with

(02:21:15):
Jacob and Sydney in particular, she is showing very little
interest in even being friendly with them. So we'll see
how this goes over the next couple of nights.

Speaker 4 (02:21:25):
Yeah, will you finish one?

Speaker 6 (02:21:29):
Give her one.

Speaker 9 (02:21:31):
During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Kate Winslet
revealing a very strange I'm playing this again.

Speaker 8 (02:21:37):
I played it earlier, but it's so funny, A very.

Speaker 9 (02:21:39):
Strange thing that Eminem asked her to do back in
two thousand and four when she was hosting SNL. He
was the musical guest.

Speaker 8 (02:21:49):
Eminem asked me to shave his bottom.

Speaker 15 (02:21:53):
It's always like a pooh bum feet for me when
I come on this handtald Razor.

Speaker 6 (02:22:00):
He did.

Speaker 8 (02:22:00):
He said, would you shave up?

Speaker 4 (02:22:01):
And I said, I'm.

Speaker 8 (02:22:02):
Sorry, I don't. I don't do personal dreaming.

Speaker 9 (02:22:05):
She said she's never shared that information before in all
these years, and it just came out here.

Speaker 6 (02:22:12):
Yeah, do you leave room at the end. I want
you to do the the terror warning thing for teens.

Speaker 9 (02:22:19):
Oh yes, okay, okay, So I need the door dash
clip really quickly because this is a crazy story. Too
late one night in Indiana. I feel like this is
like Evansville, Indiana. A couple decides are hungry.

Speaker 8 (02:22:30):
They do what we all do.

Speaker 9 (02:22:31):
They decided to place an order through door dash and
you know they've done this a million times. What they
got instead of their actual order is crazy. The driver
hands over the bag. The wife takes a few bites,
suddenly starts choking and gasping, so they check their ring
camera footage. They see the driver spray something into the

(02:22:55):
food bag while dropping it on the porch, and the
couple believes it was pepper spray.

Speaker 48 (02:23:01):
A wife had started eating and she started choking and gasping,
and after she had had a couple bites of food,
she actually threw up pepper spray.

Speaker 6 (02:23:09):
It's more than likely what it is, but now in
this day age, it could have been anything.

Speaker 48 (02:23:13):
Could have been rattinalism, could have been fentanyl, you know,
I mean my wife could have been dead.

Speaker 6 (02:23:18):
Definitely want to see your prosecuted.

Speaker 9 (02:23:19):
So, yeah, the sheriff's office is investigating. It's a felony
if charges move forward. But authorities are saying, actually, it's
not a bad idea to check your ring camera, whatever
your doorbell footage, or you consume something, because they are
seeing this more and more of tampering with the food deliveries.

Speaker 7 (02:23:38):
I feel like everybody needs a ring camera for stuff
like this, just in general, like who's stealing things off
your front porch or who's doing things to your food in.

Speaker 6 (02:23:45):
Your front porks?

Speaker 8 (02:23:46):
Yeah, do you want to introduce this?

Speaker 7 (02:23:48):
So there is a big news story that's out this
morning about a warning for parents of what they're calling
a terrorist event that could happen to your teens.

Speaker 49 (02:24:00):
It's the group the FBI describes as a new form
of modern day terrorism, and it's targeting children.

Speaker 46 (02:24:05):
They're motivated purely by chaos, weaponizing our nation's children to
be able to create terror.

Speaker 8 (02:24:11):
The group is called seven sixty four.

Speaker 49 (02:24:13):
The FBI says its goal is to cause chaos through,
among other methods, sextortion. The group's anonymous members find vulnerable
teens online and elicit private information and sexual images from them.
They then use that material to coerce victims into harming
themselves for others while streaming live on social media.

Speaker 6 (02:24:31):
The videos, the chats that we are seeing and reading
are the most graphic that I have ever seen in
my twenty year history.

Speaker 49 (02:24:37):
More than two thousand reports of abuse were tied to
seven sixty four or similar networks in the first nine
months of this year, double the number last year.

Speaker 6 (02:24:46):
I would give anything to have maslam beck.

Speaker 49 (02:24:49):
On Capitol Hill yesterday, Tamia Woods told senators her seventeen
year old son took his life after being targeted by
a group like seven sixty four.

Speaker 6 (02:24:57):
I just don't understand how hard that is to protect
our children.

Speaker 8 (02:25:03):
Experts say the law has not caught up to these
cyber criminals.

Speaker 35 (02:25:06):
There are no federal statutes that adequately criminalize the coercive
conduct of seven six four and similar groups.

Speaker 49 (02:25:12):
Senators have now introduced a proposal to criminalize the intentional
coursing of minors to harm themselves or others.

Speaker 36 (02:25:19):
Do you all agree that we've as a nation miserably
failed our children, that we have hearings and we talk,
and we've done very little to protect them as of.

Speaker 6 (02:25:32):
The state.

Speaker 36 (02:25:34):
Yes, yes, damning indictment of all of us.

Speaker 8 (02:25:39):
That's scary.

Speaker 28 (02:25:40):
That's scary.

Speaker 7 (02:25:40):
Yeah, it was even scarier than that that I just
ate an entire chili cheese fire from American Coney Island
during a dirty on the thirty.

Speaker 6 (02:25:50):
Okay, came in.

Speaker 16 (02:25:51):
Here and me and I.

Speaker 8 (02:25:55):
Have some for you right here.

Speaker 6 (02:25:57):
No, look, I haven't even touched this one out your
studio door.

Speaker 4 (02:26:01):
We literally said, is there more chili cheese fries to
the group chat.

Speaker 7 (02:26:07):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:26:08):
There's a box outside there with a ton go come
on this.

Speaker 8 (02:26:12):
I haven't even opened these ones. I don't want to listen.

Speaker 7 (02:26:15):
You guys got plenty of there's literally we have more
food air. We're locked in. We're not going home.

Speaker 6 (02:26:19):
You see the weather in the streets. We're staying here.

Speaker 8 (02:26:21):
I'm going home. You just ate our whole thing of
chili cheese fries. I am going Home.

Speaker 6 (02:26:27):
And Mojo in the.

Speaker 2 (02:26:27):
Morning on social media's module in the Morning's Dirty on
the thirty, it's time now for a breaking and entering
Christmas wish.

Speaker 7 (02:26:36):
We go out live to Bianca, who is out with
our letter writer, who is somebody that we know well.

Speaker 6 (02:26:42):
Her name is Nancy.

Speaker 7 (02:26:44):
Nancy Sovereign is a friend of the show, an FOS
friend of Mojo in the Mornings too, and she was
granted a Christmas wish. Nancy, how long ago was that
that we granted a Christmas.

Speaker 6 (02:26:58):
Wish for you? Nineteen man, I will never forget.

Speaker 7 (02:27:02):
Nancy's a person who gives so much to this community
and she's got an absolute beautiful family. And one year
we decided for a finale one a year to give
the person who gives to all Christmas and you lost it.
You're You're normally not a person that balls crying, but
you bawled crying.

Speaker 35 (02:27:23):
Yep, Ben, I was totally shocked. And you know, you
forever changed our Christmas set.

Speaker 25 (02:27:28):
You're in our lives.

Speaker 20 (02:27:29):
I mean, we love you all, we love you.

Speaker 7 (02:27:32):
And this morning is an interesting one because this morning
on the show, we're granting a Christmas wish for a
sweet sixteen year old named Ava and for her family.
And you have kind of a full circle moment here
because Ava's mom was your guys's nurse for your daughter.

Speaker 25 (02:27:52):
Yep.

Speaker 18 (02:27:52):
She when Hope was a baby many minutes ago.

Speaker 35 (02:27:56):
Karen was one of her night nurses at well what
was Beaumont back then. And I'll never forget the type
of nurse she was. I mean she Hope had had
a deflated lung and they didn't know it, and she
codd and those nurses that night, including Karen, saved Hope's life.

Speaker 6 (02:28:15):
And tell everybody how old Hope is today.

Speaker 35 (02:28:18):
Hope is twenty nine and living her best life.

Speaker 8 (02:28:21):
I'm so feisty and beautiful and I love her so much.

Speaker 25 (02:28:24):
Well this she loves you, Shannon.

Speaker 7 (02:28:26):
This is this is kind of heartbreaking because this morning
we're granting a wish for Karen and for her daughter
and her daughter Ava. It's it's been a tough go
for her, and we're going to with the help of you, Nancy,
and also with the help of our good friend from
the Detroit Lions, Brock right, along with his fiance Carly Johnson.

Speaker 16 (02:28:49):
Are they there with you too, Bianca, Yeah, I believe
they're walking up right.

Speaker 28 (02:28:53):
Now are they say?

Speaker 29 (02:28:53):
Hi?

Speaker 32 (02:28:54):
Okay, Broy, are you Brock nice to me too?

Speaker 21 (02:28:57):
My name is We got Mojo on phones?

Speaker 6 (02:29:00):
Great, real quick, Hey Brock, Hi? Do you hi to Carly.

Speaker 7 (02:29:04):
You guys got such a beautiful thing going there, and
we're so happy for you and thanks for taking your time.
I know that this is tough during the season to
get away and do this, but we appreciate you guys
for doing this with us today.

Speaker 13 (02:29:17):
Oh yes, at least we can do. We're excited about it.

Speaker 6 (02:29:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (02:29:20):
And I'm assuming you're going straight from here to practice, probably,
aren't you.

Speaker 13 (02:29:25):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 6 (02:29:26):
Yeah, a good thing.

Speaker 13 (02:29:27):
Alan Park is right around the corner from here, so
it makes it easy commute for me.

Speaker 6 (02:29:30):
Perfect.

Speaker 7 (02:29:31):
All right, Will you guys stay back and you're going
to be part of what, to me is going to
be the best thing that is going to happen during
the holidays, and that is helping out ave us a family.

Speaker 6 (02:29:42):
Bianca, you want to walk up to the door.

Speaker 21 (02:29:44):
Yeah, so we're actually going to go through the back door.
So I'm going to have yeah, me and Nancy. We
got a whole bunch of friends here, a lot of family.

Speaker 5 (02:29:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 21 (02:29:53):
Bryan from Planet Fitness out here with us as well.

Speaker 6 (02:29:57):
By the way, b.

Speaker 7 (02:30:00):
You know morning, do you know Brian Reef donated twenty
thousand dollars, ten thousand dollars from Planet Fitness and then
ten thousand dollars from our our bourbon that we sold.

Speaker 6 (02:30:10):
Oh my god, over at the brass mug.

Speaker 4 (02:30:12):
Brian wanted to.

Speaker 6 (02:30:15):
So he asked me for some Oh he did. Oh case,
this guy's isn't in elf.

Speaker 8 (02:30:20):
You can watch this, by the way on Facebook Live.

Speaker 21 (02:30:23):
All right, guys, all right, so me and if you're
walking to the back right now while the rest of
the family are getting the presents ready, we got a
whole squad here up going to the back. We got
for breaking through the gates and everything today, breaking.

Speaker 6 (02:30:36):
And enter and we truly are.

Speaker 7 (02:30:39):
And the beauty of this is if you don't watch
this live, which you can, but you can also check
it out on our social mojo in the morning, uh In,
weve it on Instagram and Facebook.

Speaker 8 (02:30:49):
Your coat, I forgot.

Speaker 21 (02:30:52):
One because I didn't plan accordingly.

Speaker 28 (02:30:54):
Witching the ball, all right, be careful because good.

Speaker 21 (02:31:01):
Morning dogs, Barkin Doggs can make us up.

Speaker 4 (02:31:10):
Bianca is looking beautiful with her jingle ball makeup.

Speaker 21 (02:31:13):
So yeah, i'd never told her ball makeup boss, so
we're still working with it.

Speaker 25 (02:31:17):
Hi, good morning, are you Karen.

Speaker 21 (02:31:21):
Are you ALA's mom?

Speaker 1 (02:31:22):
Yes?

Speaker 21 (02:31:23):
Hy bye, I'm the Akcome with Mojo in the Morning.
I actually got Mojo on the phone right now. Are
you measuring the dad?

Speaker 35 (02:31:28):
Hi?

Speaker 21 (02:31:29):
Good morning. We're gonna actually just come in the house
and we're just gonna talk. I got Mojo on the
phone right now. He would like to speak with you then, okay, sure, yeah,
all right, peek us.

Speaker 6 (02:31:38):
Oh hey Karen, Hi, Karen, how are you.

Speaker 35 (02:31:42):
Hi?

Speaker 27 (02:31:42):
Sorry, doctor Barker.

Speaker 6 (02:31:43):
No, no worries, Karen.

Speaker 28 (02:31:46):
Hi, uh Hi.

Speaker 7 (02:31:48):
It's Mojo in the Morning. And we do a thing
on our show. We've been doing it for so long now,
and it always brings us such full hearts. We have
a breaking and Entering Christmas Wish program that received a
letter about Ava and about you and about your beautiful family,
and I was wondering if the person who wrote the
letter could read it to you.

Speaker 32 (02:32:09):
Yeah, dear Mojoe in the Morning.

Speaker 35 (02:32:13):
My name is Nancy Sovereign, and I would like to
nominate the Jebsinski family for your breaking and Entering Christmas Wish.
This is a family that has shown imaginable strength, love
and courage to others for so many years, and now
they are in desperate need of comfort and support this Christmas.

(02:32:34):
Their sixteen year old daughter, Ava has been bravely battling
brain cancer and lymphalma since she was nine. After years
of treatments set back some moments of hope, she is
now in hospice care. What this family is caring is
truly heartbreaking, yet the way they continue to love and

(02:32:55):
to support each other is nothing short of beautiful. I
have no care Ava's mom for many years, as she
was my daughter Hope's nurse when she was a baby,
and I have always admired her kindness and dedication. Now
watching her pour that same love into her daughter as
she faces the unimaginable has been deeply moving. This family

(02:33:20):
has faced more pain than anyone should, yet they remain
grateful and grounded in love and faith. This Christmas will
be incredibly hard for them. I would give anything for
the Jabazinskis to feel surrounded by the warmth, generosity, and
community they so deeply deserve. My hope is that your

(02:33:42):
team can help make this holiday just a little more special, memorable,
and peaceful for them. Thank you for considering this nomination,
and thank you for all you do to bring light
into family's darkest moments. With gratitude.

Speaker 7 (02:33:58):
Nancy a beautiful letter and a beautiful person. I see, Nancy,
they're standing right by you, and I see Mitch there.

Speaker 25 (02:34:09):
Caitlin.

Speaker 32 (02:34:10):
We got to the next week her sister yet, Kaitlyn
is there?

Speaker 6 (02:34:14):
How you doing?

Speaker 9 (02:34:16):
I did some creeping on social media thanks to Nancy,
So don't think I'm that strange. But you and your
sister have the most beautiful bond. Caitlin, Can you tell
us about Ava?

Speaker 5 (02:34:30):
Oh?

Speaker 21 (02:34:31):
I don't even know where to start.

Speaker 32 (02:34:34):
She is just like I actually wrote like a little
something about her, but what I wrote it is that
like she has the.

Speaker 21 (02:34:42):
Most pure soul.

Speaker 39 (02:34:44):
She was so kind and loving. She loved everyone that
she met, and she touched the hearts of everyone that
knew her. She I don't even know. She's just like
I couldn't have asked for a better sister, little sister.

Speaker 4 (02:35:02):
I look up to her like she I'm the big.

Speaker 39 (02:35:05):
Sister and she's a little sister, and I just she
inspires me in ways that I could never imagined.

Speaker 6 (02:35:11):
So yeah, wow, I I love that. Caitlin. Uh that's amazing.

Speaker 7 (02:35:19):
And I'm sure that you are strength for your mom
and your dad, and you are probably a lot of
times trying to give them the strength that they need
to just be able to get through the days.

Speaker 20 (02:35:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:35:34):
True, Mitch. You have a beautiful you have a beautiful family. Mitch.

Speaker 7 (02:35:37):
I'm looking looking at you there and I'm and I'm
watching you and I'm thinking my God as a guide
to know. I'm waking up to a whole bunch of people,
strangers in my house.

Speaker 6 (02:35:49):
Not too bad. How are you holding up? Mitch? How's
dad doing? How's the man of the house. Uh, you know,
it's not just the man of the house or family.

Speaker 40 (02:36:00):
We do everything together.

Speaker 6 (02:36:02):
We do everything as four.

Speaker 40 (02:36:06):
We we go on vacations together, Karen and I do
We don't do anything but just us two.

Speaker 13 (02:36:11):
We do a thing as a family. We always have.
That's what we do, that's what we are.

Speaker 40 (02:36:16):
So, I mean, we've we've been doing this since day
one for six years. It's this is what we do,
and this is we do everything together.

Speaker 7 (02:36:27):
And I love that you do that because I think
that that's a wonderful thing and I think it's also
amazing to be a girl.

Speaker 6 (02:36:33):
Dad isn't it.

Speaker 16 (02:36:36):
Well, I'm a little more great than I want to
because it's not that I have girls.

Speaker 40 (02:36:43):
I'd also have a dog that's just as bad as
they are.

Speaker 7 (02:36:47):
Get Hey, Karen, I the bond that you and Nancy have,
the fact that you came into Nancy's life when Hope
was in the.

Speaker 6 (02:36:55):
Hospital, and then to know that you and you know
have been dealing with Ava and what happened with Ava.

Speaker 7 (02:37:04):
As somebody that is a nurse taking care of everybody,
you never think it's going to end up being something
that's you're going to have to deal with at your
own home, right right, Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 17 (02:37:16):
I just you know, it's kind of one of those
things you just because you take care of that population,
you think, you know it's not going to be me,
and you know nobody's.

Speaker 6 (02:37:23):
Immune to it.

Speaker 17 (02:37:23):
And yeah, I'm unlast words, I'm sorry.

Speaker 21 (02:37:36):
Yeah, she can't work.

Speaker 7 (02:37:39):
I want you guys to know that, Mitch and uh
and Karen and Caitlin, I want you to know this.
We have millions of listeners along with so many more
that we'll hear this on social We're praying for Ava.
We're praying for you guys. We're praying that God's comfort
and peace is with your home today and forever, and

(02:38:01):
I know.

Speaker 6 (02:38:02):
It will be. I really do.

Speaker 32 (02:38:05):
Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Speaker 7 (02:38:07):
I want to introduce a couple of people to you.
Bianca's bringing in a whole bunch of stuff. That's Bianca
from our show. She's like a sometimes she's a bowl
in a china shop, but she's beautiful. Along with our
team bringing stuff in. I also want to introduce you
to uh and I'm sure Mitch and Caitlin and Karen,
you guys are fans. But the Detroit Lyons and the

(02:38:28):
great people over there are always giving back to the community.
And one person specifically Brock Wright, who's a star, and
his beautiful fiance Carl Johnston, Bye car they are helping
us with this Christmas wish that they're helping bring stuff there.
And I don't know, Brock, are you good at putting

(02:38:49):
things together? Because we may need your help with putting
some things together here today.

Speaker 6 (02:38:53):
Are your handy?

Speaker 13 (02:38:54):
I can follow instructions?

Speaker 6 (02:38:57):
Good. Let's ask Carly that question. Makes sure.

Speaker 7 (02:39:01):
Also our good friend Brian Reef from Planet Fitness is
also there today. It's the community, Oh, it's the community
that comes together every single year, and I want you
to know that we're coming together for you as we
bring in a ton of stuff.

Speaker 6 (02:39:18):
I mean, Shannon, you did the shopping, so you.

Speaker 12 (02:39:20):
Know what I mean.

Speaker 8 (02:39:21):
We've all helped with the shopping, but everything from.

Speaker 9 (02:39:25):
New bedding and clothing and Lions gear and gift cards
for door Dash and we know Ava is a Taylor
Swift fan and a Wicked fan, so we did a
bunch of shopping for that. Caitlin can't forget about sisters,
so we got you all sorts of stuff from Saphora
and Netflix and clothes and gas cards, Pistons, tickets.

Speaker 7 (02:39:51):
Kroger gift cards to fill your cupboards with food because
we want to make sure that you guys have everything
you need and so Karen, you don't have to be
going out to Kroger Kroger deliveries to help you with that.

Speaker 6 (02:40:01):
And I also want to bring this up to you.
We know that it's been and we see this a
lot with people.

Speaker 7 (02:40:07):
That are dealing with families and illnesses, that it's tough
financially because you got to take time away from work.

Speaker 6 (02:40:13):
So we also want to write you guys a check
to help cover your bills.

Speaker 7 (02:40:19):
In hopes that that less of a burden helps you
guys complete the four like Mitch talked about.

Speaker 6 (02:40:27):
And just be with each other.

Speaker 9 (02:40:28):
And somebody let us know too that there was something
up with your furnace. So Carara from the A Plus
Heating team, they're taking care of that so you don't
have to worry about that. And also we want you
to take care of yourself, mama, so we got you
flight for a little self care trip and Delta is

(02:40:49):
helping us out with that one.

Speaker 8 (02:40:50):
So you'll see those in there as well. Those gift
cards in there as well.

Speaker 4 (02:40:53):
Dad, I heard that you like to cook. I heard
that we also got you a blackst.

Speaker 6 (02:41:00):
Wait, you know what. He's going to be doing a
lot of cooking with that Kroger stuff that's coming in.

Speaker 40 (02:41:05):
So I've been talking the past four years, well you.

Speaker 8 (02:41:08):
Got it today.

Speaker 7 (02:41:10):
Well, and I want to plug real quick again. The
furnace issue has been has been something that's been weighing
on you guys. And again who is it that's helping out.

Speaker 8 (02:41:18):
With that, Kara from A Plus Heating team, So that is.

Speaker 7 (02:41:22):
One less thing that you guys have to stress about.
They will take care of everything for you.

Speaker 32 (02:41:26):
Okay, thank you, Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (02:41:29):
I know this is a worldwin.

Speaker 21 (02:41:30):
Family.

Speaker 25 (02:41:32):
Yeah we did.

Speaker 21 (02:41:32):
We have more family living room right here too. You
got a whole crowd in here as well.

Speaker 6 (02:41:36):
They all came to help with I want you, guys
know this is a whirlwin.

Speaker 7 (02:41:40):
Everything's going to kind of, you know, in the next
couple of hours come, you know, to a point where
you're going to be able to sit back and you're
going to be able to to kind of go, oh God,
what just hit me? But I want you to know,
most of all, Ava has always left an impression on people.
She left an impression obviously on Nancy and her family
because of you, Karen and your relationship. And Ava will

(02:42:03):
always be here for us and be here with us.
And I know that you know, you guys need to
know this. Her life is a life that we all
are loving this morning, and we're praying for her, and
we're praying.

Speaker 6 (02:42:16):
For your entire family.

Speaker 28 (02:42:18):
Thank you, Thank you, God, bless you guys.

Speaker 6 (02:42:22):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:42:24):
Like Detroit next Moskegan, Grand Rabbit, and I heard radio stations,
real people, real lives, real fun, Mojo in the morning,
guaranteed human.

Speaker 7 (02:42:36):
Love it uh five lives. Tell your mom we do
it on Wednesdays. All you got to do is text
mom the nine five five zero zero and we will
phone scam her.

Speaker 2 (02:42:45):
It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 5 (02:42:48):
Sweet.

Speaker 6 (02:42:50):
Five lies to tell you, Casey, Yes, five lies to
tell your mom? How are you go? How are fantastic?

Speaker 7 (02:43:00):
For those who don't know, this is where we give
you five things that you got to say to your mom.
They're all lies, and when you do it, you make
your mom believe it. Hopefully Mom stays on the phone
the entire time she wins a prize. Are we ready
for this one?

Speaker 6 (02:43:16):
We are?

Speaker 7 (02:43:16):
And I understand. We got to get your mom here
soon because your mom's about to go into a meeting.
So we got to do this thing and see if
we can get mom to answer the phone. Yes, correct,
five lies, Casey. Give me a little background, beyonc on her.

Speaker 29 (02:43:29):
All right, So Casey's mother in law kind of plans
everything but Casey's baby showers in March, and Casey's mom
wants to be the one to plan things for once.

Speaker 8 (02:43:37):
But we're going to pretend that the mother in law
stepped in again. And still, O god, I feel like
this could be very bad.

Speaker 6 (02:43:46):
It's going to be trust that's good news for us.
All right.

Speaker 7 (02:43:50):
Line number one is the mother in law's name, Amy, Yes,
all right, Line number one. Amy is taking over the
baby shower. Lie number two.

Speaker 8 (02:44:02):
She doesn't like the venue you too's Lie number.

Speaker 6 (02:44:05):
Three, so she put a deposit down somewhere else. Lie
number four.

Speaker 4 (02:44:10):
It's at Andiamo's and it's way better.

Speaker 7 (02:44:13):
And lie number five. I like Amy's ideas and honestly
don't want your help anymore.

Speaker 16 (02:44:19):
I die.

Speaker 6 (02:44:22):
Oh no, I just hope that.

Speaker 7 (02:44:24):
Your mom stays on long enough for us to tell
her that it's Mojo on the morning. And this is
five Lives.

Speaker 16 (02:44:29):
I hope so too.

Speaker 27 (02:44:29):
The last one I know is gonna get her and
like send her over the edge. So my fingers are crossed.

Speaker 7 (02:44:34):
All right, we're calling your mom up for five Lives
to tell your mom good luck, thank you.

Speaker 27 (02:44:50):
Hello, hey mom, there's something I gotta tell you.

Speaker 30 (02:44:58):
Okay, So Amy is taking over the baby shower. My Well,
apparently she doesn't like the venue you chose.

Speaker 17 (02:45:12):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 25 (02:45:13):
I'm gonna lose my deposits.

Speaker 27 (02:45:16):
Yeah, well apparently she went and put a deposit on
somewhere else.

Speaker 25 (02:45:20):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 35 (02:45:23):
No?

Speaker 25 (02:45:24):
And I'm not going.

Speaker 16 (02:45:25):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 25 (02:45:26):
I don't want to be no part of it. I
can't believe you're following this.

Speaker 27 (02:45:31):
Well she did it at Antiamo's and it's apparently way better.

Speaker 25 (02:45:38):
Okay, Well then I won't be there. I won't be
no part of it.

Speaker 31 (02:45:41):
Okay, I'm sorry, I know, mom, but I do like
the idea, and I honestly nobody needs to.

Speaker 25 (02:45:48):
Give me back my two fifty so because I'm not
losing that money.

Speaker 27 (02:45:56):
Yeah, well I really like Amy's idea, and I feel
like we don't really want your help anymore.

Speaker 21 (02:46:02):
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 25 (02:46:07):
Where it's just coming from?

Speaker 27 (02:46:13):
Just a lot has been happening, And.

Speaker 21 (02:46:18):
Yeah, what did I do?

Speaker 27 (02:46:24):
I mean nothing, really, I just it's just a lot
has been happening.

Speaker 6 (02:46:28):
And yeah, okay, do you want me to save you?

Speaker 22 (02:46:37):
Yes?

Speaker 16 (02:46:37):
Please please save me?

Speaker 6 (02:46:40):
Hey mom, Mom?

Speaker 29 (02:46:46):
Who is this?

Speaker 13 (02:46:48):
Mom?

Speaker 6 (02:46:48):
This is Mojo in the morning and Casey had you
on five Lives to tell your mom. I'm sure she did.
I was listening to the pain.

Speaker 7 (02:47:04):
I was listening to the pain in your voice like
you were what you didn't? It was got sad there
for a second, So what did I love?

Speaker 27 (02:47:14):
I was about ready to hang up is what I
was about ready to do.

Speaker 16 (02:47:17):
God, you did it, mom.

Speaker 4 (02:47:20):
I was just like so hurt.

Speaker 25 (02:47:21):
I cannot believe that. It's like, what the hell did
I do wrong?

Speaker 6 (02:47:25):
Oh my god?

Speaker 7 (02:47:29):
Just just so you know, the bride's mom and the
daughter's mom always wins.

Speaker 6 (02:47:37):
You win. Congratulations, five lives.

Speaker 25 (02:47:43):
Oh my, Casey, you are gonna Tarma sucks?

Speaker 31 (02:47:47):
Man.

Speaker 4 (02:47:49):
I love you what she got you apride?

Speaker 6 (02:47:52):
Hey, you know well, I love I love your show, Mojo.

Speaker 25 (02:47:56):
I haven't listened to you guys in a while, but
I do love your show.

Speaker 7 (02:47:59):
So yeah, well what you got to listen to us?
You gotta get to our podcast and have them download
to your phone. Okay, you're missing out on a fun
things like this now. Now this is your this is
your reason to come back to us.

Speaker 5 (02:48:12):
Okay, Okay, sounds good.

Speaker 25 (02:48:14):
Say you're you're gonna get in trouble.

Speaker 6 (02:48:17):
Yeah, okay, you know what.

Speaker 7 (02:48:20):
You know what, Casey, you use that baby against her,
you'll you'll always get out of trouble with it with
a grand baby.

Speaker 6 (02:48:26):
Okay.

Speaker 27 (02:48:28):
And I was getting so Mojo. I was so waiting
for you to.

Speaker 6 (02:48:33):
I actually thought about just hanging back here. Just what happened.

Speaker 38 (02:48:39):
Up my gosh, you guys are so bad.

Speaker 7 (02:48:43):
It's Mojo in the Morning, five Lives to tell your
back with second Date update coming up next.

Speaker 41 (02:48:54):
Hi, Channel nine to five five listeners, It's Santa and
Wow Christmas call seal up this year and the fine
people at Mojo in the Morning are digging deep, really
deep into my sack this year. You'll find big amounts
of cash. You might find hundreds even thousands of dollars.

Speaker 6 (02:49:14):
How do you win?

Speaker 2 (02:49:15):
All you good boys and girls.

Speaker 41 (02:49:17):
Get the Santa sack hookup at seven thirty and eight thirty,
Simple as that. And it's all made possible by Santa.
Steve Gabara at zod Ford and Holly. Steve looks a
lot like Santa, but there's only one Santa, and that's me, y'all.
And remember Santa always says, listen to Mojo or you'll get.

Speaker 6 (02:49:37):
Call this year. All right, Second date update, it's.

Speaker 2 (02:49:43):
The second date update on Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 7 (02:49:45):
Why are you not getting a call back? We're gonna
find out this morning. Dylan's getting ghosted and doesn't know why. Dylan,
what's the story?

Speaker 28 (02:49:53):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (02:49:55):
What's so?

Speaker 42 (02:49:56):
Yeah?

Speaker 28 (02:49:57):
So?

Speaker 45 (02:49:58):
I mean go out with this girl for like a
couple of weeks now, and uh, now I'm getting ghosted.

Speaker 9 (02:50:04):
Oh so this is not even just a first date
or a second date update. You've you've gone out on
a few dates.

Speaker 6 (02:50:10):
Uh yeah, okay, and it's.

Speaker 7 (02:50:13):
Been a couple of weeks of you guys hanging out
with each other, but then all of a sudden, out
of nowhere, now she's not calling you back.

Speaker 6 (02:50:21):
And how long has that been since she hasn't been
calling you. It's been like a week now, Okay, So
we're gonna find out what's going on.

Speaker 7 (02:50:29):
Is there anything that happened the last couple of times
that you guys been together that might be an indicator
of something that you should kind of be worried about.

Speaker 6 (02:50:40):
Uh No, it's been it's been good.

Speaker 7 (02:50:43):
So there's nothing that you said or did, because sometimes
that comes out when we do the second date update
and you're.

Speaker 4 (02:50:49):
Like, oh crap, when was the last time you.

Speaker 28 (02:50:51):
Saw her too?

Speaker 27 (02:50:54):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (02:50:55):
Went on the last date like ten days ago maybe.

Speaker 4 (02:51:00):
And did it end on a good note?

Speaker 6 (02:51:03):
I thought it went well. Molly is on with us
right now, Dylan say hi to Molly.

Speaker 28 (02:51:10):
Hey, hie?

Speaker 7 (02:51:15):
Yeah, Hey doesn't sound as I mean, I get it.
You're a little bit put off by the fact that
you're not getting a call back.

Speaker 6 (02:51:22):
Molly. You sound so upbeat. Hi, Molly, how are you Hi?

Speaker 5 (02:51:26):
Good?

Speaker 28 (02:51:27):
Are you good?

Speaker 6 (02:51:28):
Dylan? You want to say hi to Molly again? Hi?
Not much Molly.

Speaker 7 (02:51:37):
Dylan called us up, says that you guys haven't talked
in almost a couple of weeks here, but was wondering
if everything is okay.

Speaker 17 (02:51:48):
Yeah, everything fine for the most part.

Speaker 6 (02:51:51):
For the most part meaning.

Speaker 7 (02:51:54):
That you actually like him, or the most part meaning
you don't necessarily like him, and you're kind of looking
for an opportunity to just say, all right, we're done,
We're not gonna hang out anymore.

Speaker 4 (02:52:05):
Well, I like him, Okay, who doesn't like him?

Speaker 17 (02:52:12):
My parents aren't the biggest fan of him, but like,
I really enjoyed.

Speaker 33 (02:52:16):
The dates we went on.

Speaker 8 (02:52:18):
Oh, he already met your parents?

Speaker 17 (02:52:21):
No, no, no, they haven't met yet.

Speaker 6 (02:52:23):
So how do they not like him if they haven't
met him yet?

Speaker 17 (02:52:27):
They found some photos of him on like social media,
and the war is.

Speaker 7 (02:52:32):
The biggest fan, okay, and so you're showing the pictures
about him. Go ahead, Delan, what do you want to say?

Speaker 6 (02:52:39):
Are you serious?

Speaker 4 (02:52:40):
What kind of stuff do you post?

Speaker 6 (02:52:42):
Dylan? I mean, like I don't know, just like casual stuff.

Speaker 9 (02:52:48):
They do they think he's unattractive or what's specifically about
the photos that they saw did they not really care for.

Speaker 17 (02:52:54):
They're not a super big fan of people who are
public about smoking or thinking, and they found a few
photoes like that, so they were kind of advising me that,
like maybe he wasn't the best person to.

Speaker 27 (02:53:08):
Go on dates with.

Speaker 6 (02:53:11):
Okay, so what can I ask you something?

Speaker 27 (02:53:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 20 (02:53:17):
So do you like, do you do everything your parents say?
Or like do you think for your soul? For like,
I'm confused.

Speaker 17 (02:53:27):
Well, I mean they have good advice and they've been
married a while, so I usually like to take what
they have to say about another person in the consideration.

Speaker 10 (02:53:37):
Do you have an issue you haven't even with his
pictures that he's posting?

Speaker 17 (02:53:42):
Not really, I mean I do the same, I just
don't post about it. But I think, you know, they
brought up some good points of like, you know, that's
something that you don't really want to put online and
should keep personal.

Speaker 7 (02:53:53):
How how old do you, Molly? If I if I
can ask that question, I just wanted to know how
old you are? I'm funny, say so you're twenty two
years old, you're young enough your parents are still involved. Actually,
Bianca either Bianca, she's in the other ears. Hey, this
is an interesting one because you're a twenty two or
twenty three year old? Do your parents look up the

(02:54:14):
people that you like? I know you're in this relationship
right now, but would your parents look them up and
see and judge them from just social media?

Speaker 29 (02:54:22):
I don't think that they would look someone up, but
I know that, like the person I'm talking to, their
parents like look me up and see like what I'm doing.

Speaker 8 (02:54:29):
And they're very vocal about it.

Speaker 7 (02:54:30):
So you kind of get it that Molly's parents have
a say so on this because you're also your parents
and his parents have kind of talked back and forth.

Speaker 6 (02:54:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 29 (02:54:38):
I think also like what you post who is kind
of a reflection who you are, and like what you're
okay with posting. So if someone is like open about that,
I feel like it kind of puts a bad look
on them.

Speaker 7 (02:54:46):
So, Dylan, you know, here's Beionca telling you that in
her case, what Molly's parents are doing is not unusual.

Speaker 6 (02:54:54):
I don't know, it sounds pretty unusual to me, honestly,
Like my parents wouldn't.

Speaker 10 (02:54:58):
Do that smoking and drink thinking are both legal. You're
twenty two years old, unless you're you know, wilden out
dumping champagne down somebody's shirt or something.

Speaker 4 (02:55:08):
I feel like it's not that big of a video.

Speaker 7 (02:55:10):
Please tell me, uh, Dylan, you don't have like a
picture in front of like a car or something like
that on your social Like I would think I would
rather my guy's smoke or drink than you know how
the typical guy pic of the guy like in front
of a motorcycle or I do like I kind of.

Speaker 8 (02:55:26):
Get where the parents are coming from. Yeah, Like, I
don't know what the pictures are.

Speaker 9 (02:55:31):
And if it's you, like, you know, out with your
guy friends and you're all holding a drink, that's one thing.
If it's you, like getting stoned and you posted a
photo or video on social media, I don't know. I
think that that would kind of rub me the wrong
way too. Whether you you do that in your personal
life or not, I don't care, but like the posting
of it, I kind of get.

Speaker 6 (02:55:50):
But I mean, I'm not like doing anything crazy, you know.
It's just like, you know, pictures of me with my
friends and whatever.

Speaker 9 (02:55:58):
Molly, if your parents hadn't said anything to you about this?
Would you continue to date him?

Speaker 6 (02:56:04):
Yeah?

Speaker 17 (02:56:04):
I would do with thing.

Speaker 6 (02:56:06):
Hey, Tim, what'd you want to say? Hi? Second date?
Updates time?

Speaker 16 (02:56:10):
I'm going to check out a plenty of fish. This
was probably about eight years ago. And she lived or
she works, maybe a mile a mile and a half
before where I lived. And it took me about two
and a half months of a meter to make a
long story short. Herd I have a child together, or
seven year old son together. Her parents have never met me.
Grandparents never met me. They don't like me because of

(02:56:31):
criminal history from twenty years ago.

Speaker 7 (02:56:34):
How did they know about the criminal history because I
she was ultimately I was with her parents. Okay, so
they haven't met you, but they know that you got
a past. I would probably be a little bit worried
if I it was a a dad.

Speaker 6 (02:56:52):
Talk to me.

Speaker 16 (02:56:53):
Give me the opportunity to you to explain.

Speaker 7 (02:56:55):
Okay, what's there to explain? Explain it to me? What
did you do in your criminal past.

Speaker 16 (02:57:00):
There's there's a lot of stuff past.

Speaker 7 (02:57:03):
I mean, stay all away from my daughter. Yeah, at
that point right there, Tim, You're gone, No no, no, no, no, no, listen.
There's a lot of things in my criminal past. Dad,
Have you said that to a father? A father is
going to run your ass out of that house, Amanda,
what's going on? Is Mojo in the morning?

Speaker 21 (02:57:22):
Good morning all you tired people.

Speaker 27 (02:57:25):
I know, yes, So I just wanted to say, he
this guy, he was doing.

Speaker 21 (02:57:32):
Good until he made that last comment.

Speaker 27 (02:57:34):
The last comments about do you always listen to your parents?

Speaker 21 (02:57:38):
Do you think for yourself? God forbid, she has parents
that care about her, her well being, her future. I
wish my parents could.

Speaker 22 (02:57:46):
They have never given me dating advice, never cared who
I dated.

Speaker 21 (02:57:50):
That is a beautiful thing.

Speaker 16 (02:57:51):
What do you dy?

Speaker 20 (02:57:53):
You're an adult. You should be thinking for yourself.

Speaker 46 (02:57:59):
A very young child, a young adult is still a
child in many ways. So for you to be rude
to her and demean her like that, that's rude.

Speaker 8 (02:58:06):
I do agree with you to an extent.

Speaker 9 (02:58:08):
The trouble she needs to make her own decisions. However,
you know, and I speak for myself here, but I
feel like in this case it's the same. I have
always valued what my parents thought about my relationships, and
it wasn't one hundred percent that I always listen to them,
but I definitely take that into account. It's a factor
when I you know, whenever I was dating somebody that

(02:58:28):
I wanted my family and my friends to like that person.

Speaker 6 (02:58:31):
Hey, Eric, what did you want to say?

Speaker 40 (02:58:33):
So, yeah, I'm thirty three years old.

Speaker 24 (02:58:36):
I've had postal media since I was sixteen, and I'm
kind of siding with parents on this one because even
at sixteen years old, I knew.

Speaker 47 (02:58:45):
That, like, hey, I probably should because because when you
want ever, you post anything out there, you don't.

Speaker 33 (02:58:51):
Know who's going to look at it, and whatever you post,
that's your first impression, yep. And so like if you're
building your brand that hey, yeah, I like to smoke
ring and then.

Speaker 43 (02:59:01):
You know that's cool to do with everything like that.
It's fine that you know it's legal or legal back then,
but it's that's.

Speaker 16 (02:59:09):
Your first impression.

Speaker 33 (02:59:10):
And if your first impression is all this guy just
like smoking drink all.

Speaker 47 (02:59:13):
The time, Like I'm not saying like I'm perfect, Like
if if I take.

Speaker 33 (02:59:17):
A picture with alcohol, I have a beer in my hand,
but I'm not like sitting there hugging a beer bong.

Speaker 7 (02:59:21):
Real quick, Eric, stay with us and one day ask
a question about the smoking and drinking.

Speaker 6 (02:59:25):
What was your question?

Speaker 21 (02:59:25):
An kind of good morning.

Speaker 27 (02:59:27):
I actually have a couple of questions, So how often
do you took the smoke? And how often are you
posting both pics on social media?

Speaker 7 (02:59:34):
That's a good question, like how often are you posting
that stuff? So I literally have no no, no, Dylan,
let me ask any oh, let me ask do Yeah?

Speaker 6 (02:59:45):
How often do I drink and smokes? Yeah and post it?
H oh and post it?

Speaker 20 (02:59:52):
I don't know, like once every two months maybe, But.

Speaker 6 (02:59:58):
There's plenty of pictures for them to scroll back and
look at. Yeah, but none of them are like that bad. Yeah,
Like Dylan, how old are you? Twenty two? Okay, twenty two?
All right, so you guys are both.

Speaker 17 (03:00:11):
Twenty two, you know that young era going out and stuff.

Speaker 7 (03:00:15):
I mean, honestly twenty two, so should be old enough
to figure out that you probably don't necessarily need to
post like those pictures to make yourself look like you're
having a good time. But still Molly, as a parent
and as somebody who wished my parents were there for
me a little bit more, I would say to you,

(03:00:37):
you got a good mom and dad, and you'll know
when your parents have overstepped the lines and the idea
that they say they don't get a good feeling about Dylan.
You're still the ultimate decision maker on whether or not
you're going to continue something. I give you respect for
the fact that you actually though appreciate their.

Speaker 4 (03:00:53):
Opinion, but don't be afraid to think for yourself, girl.

Speaker 7 (03:00:57):
No, no, we want Anne to listen more to her parents.
You should see some of the guys that she things
hangs out with her.

Speaker 4 (03:01:05):
Actually with tequila on my head.

Speaker 7 (03:01:07):
Actually, to be honest with you, Molly, will your parents
look at some of the guys that Anna's hanging out with.
I'd like to get their opinion on those. All right,
Anna's looking down right now, She's not looking at me.

Speaker 4 (03:01:19):
I can't No, that's.

Speaker 2 (03:01:25):

Speaker 6 (03:01:28):
This is Mojo in the morning. All right.

Speaker 7 (03:01:31):
Uh hey, we got to congratulate Charles and Stephanie from Dearborn, Michigan.
They were winners last night of a brand new seventy
five thousand dollars Kia EV nine from Summit Place. Kia
huge winners up on stage. The wildest part of the
whole thing was to win this. You could win tickets

(03:01:54):
to the concert. You could buy tickets to the concert.
There was no purchase necessary, and there was ways for
you to get in. I gotta do that for legal purposes.
But Charles bought the tickets that day to go. They
decided that day. And here's the reason why. Stephanie's co
worker had a pair of tickets that she couldn't use.

(03:02:15):
She said, hey, do you want them? She texts Charles.
Charles wasn't available by his phone, so he didn't answer
the text. Well, she found somebody else in the office,
and then he contacted her and she says, I'm sorry
the tickets are gone, but this is kind of a bummer.
He went on a ticket master, saw that there were
seats still available, and he bought the ticket.

Speaker 8 (03:02:34):
Isn't that a crazy story?

Speaker 6 (03:02:36):
He wanted to make sure that she had a great night.
This something that she wanted to do. And they go
home with a car.

Speaker 7 (03:02:41):
I go home with a seventy five thousand dollars car.
I know that's incredible. Thank you to Tanya Laland at
some places, Kia and Tanya said on stage, Lauren, you
better take that audio and use it. I said, are
we doing another car next year? She said, yes, We're
doing another car next year. When it's twenty twenty six
jingle Ball starring Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Tate McCrae, Ed,

(03:03:04):
Sharon Eminem. I'm putting my list of people together for
Tony to start work, you know on right now. Actually,
you know what I would do after Nelly last night
if you don't get like a tea pain like keV
wants all the time, like I think, having one of
those artists, those throwback two thousands artists. All right, see

(03:03:25):
you guys tomorrow.

Speaker 6 (03:03:25):
We're done. Thank you for all your hard work.

Speaker 7 (03:03:29):
To Shannon and Lydia and Bianca and Anna and Zach
and keV who's home sick, and all of the staff
ej The Joe Show with Joe Ashley and Jed Jilly,
as well as all the people that work in our
promotions department, Cody Crystal, all those great promotions people, Lester

(03:03:51):
and everybody, my nephew Xavier.

Speaker 6 (03:03:54):
Thank you to everybody that helped put this together.

Speaker 7 (03:03:56):
But most of all, in the biggest thanks, Tony Travado,
the best in the business right here, the guy that
his blood, sweat and tears goes into this. You did
a great job, Tony. Another jingle Ball under wraps now,
we got to start promoting jingle Ball for next year.

Speaker 6 (03:04:12):
We'll see you guys then. By twenty plus

Speaker 3 (03:04:14):
Years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo, in
West Michigan, it's mojo in the morning.
