Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Mojo in the morning show.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Beyonca's got an interesting little story for us on the
how Beyonca's relationship is affecting her life. You know, we've
last left you with families all met each other, Dad
on you know, Beyonca's dad and mom happy with the
man friend that she has. Her man friend's family sounds

(00:23):
like they're happy with you, except for one stipulation. You
guys both have rules that you have to follow.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
Yeah, oh my god, all right, yeah we do. I'm
doing the topic from Producer Studio today. Yeah. So he
came over for the first time on Saturday, and we
went out like we did a little Q activity with
my family. We came back, we all watched a movie
together and my parents are in the room and it
was it was in the living room. So we're all

(00:53):
just hanging out in the living room.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
And real quick, before you increased the story, what are
you doing in there?

Speaker 3 (00:58):
Put out my headphones?

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Oh I know. Why do you sound so disheveled though
in that room?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
Because I was trying to find my headphones and put
him on being through a bag? Okay, yeah, here we go,
all right, I'm locked in, all right, So we sit
We're sitting in the living room watching a movie whatever,
And before he came over, my mom said, just let
you know he's not going in your room. He's not
allowed upstairs at all. She wouldn't even let me clean
my room because I was like, I have to go
clean my room, and she's like, you don't need to.

(01:24):
He's not going up there. He's not going to see it.
So I'm like, Okay, I still clean my room anyway,
just in case, because I was like, maybe she.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
Might allow it.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Wait, you were anticipating that you were going to bring
him up to your room.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Well, maybe just to see it, in case he had
to go up there and get something.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I don't know, what is he going to have to
get in your room besides your virginity?

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Actually nothing, I was kidding, but you.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
So wait, so your parents gave you the rules and
you still clean your room. Were you cleaning your room
because you were anticipating sneaking up to your room?

Speaker 3 (02:01):
Well? No, I didn't really, I don't know. I don't
really know what I was expecting. When I was younger
and I had boyfriends, like they would hang out in
my room, it was like, yeah, it was no issue.
My brother brings girls all the time to his room.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Wait, your parents let your brother bring girls.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
To the room.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
Yes, you can't. Yes, there's been there's been times my
brother brought like twenty eight year olds into his room
and this man's twenty. Oh it's gonna be the same
rules for both of you. Yeah, that's actually not fair.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
Let's let's have a Can we call your parents?

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Yeah, let's call him up. And by the way, my
brother's room is like hidden, so like you can't see
his room when you're downstairs. Where in my room is
kind of facing the living room, so you can see
my room from downstairs, So even if I had my
door open closed, you would be able to see everything.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Because I because I tend to agree with the idea
that your parents have for you not letting me bring
you know, I could see.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
I know what I was doing in my room with
my high school boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Well, no, I'm not doing any of that. Even my
last boyfriend hung on the basement. But this time, my
mom's like sitting in the living room with us.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
When you say, oh, I'm not doing that, you're full
of crap. If you're we don't do that, well, do
you want to go up to your room and go
do then that you can't do down and watch movies.
So it's the cuddling part. You can't cuddle downstairs and
no TV.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
He tried to put his arm around me in front
of my dad and I moved that real quick.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
So it's a matter of you want to have a
place to call private.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Yeah, I don't want him cuddling me in front of
my parents.

Speaker 1 (03:18):
That's weird, all right.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
I got a lot of stuff I want to ask.
I got a lot of questions I want to ask.
I want to get to a lot of things with this.
You're for those who don't know Beyoncas Kaldann Iraqi Catholic
for that. So Middle Eastern, you guys have a lot
of tradition, traditional stuff.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
The boys. Indian families can have girls up in their room,
but the girls can't.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Yeah, I don't know how that works. I mean my
ex boyfriend was no issue going into his room, But
I mean, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Now, it's just diff You said your parents used to
let you bring guys into your room too.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
When I was younger, and I was like, Okay, I
don't know what the issue is now. I think she
just wants to kind of respect his family as well.
His mom is also like, no bedroom.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
But Anna, when when you when you talked, Let's find
out how young were you? When you're like, you were
like probably nine or ten?

Speaker 1 (04:05):
Right?

Speaker 4 (04:05):
What?

Speaker 3 (04:07):
No? I was like sixteen?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
Wait? Your parents let you have boys in the room
when you were sixteen? Thinking what you weren't going to
be like falling around that.

Speaker 3 (04:13):
We weren't doing anything at sixteen. Come on, now, what
are you doing in there?

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Though?

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Watch movies? That's exactly what we're trying to do. Now,
what's the difference here.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
On what I was doing?

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Hold on a second's Dad's on the phone.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Oh I love dad.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Al is on with us right now.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Good morning, everybody, Good morning. How's the party store today?

Speaker 2 (04:38):
Monday?

Speaker 1 (04:38):
Happy Monday.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
We got some doma for you to flip's I got you.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
Actually, it's funny. I thought you did a great job
doing it.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
These girls were giving you crap, Bionca and Lydia for
the way that you flipped it. Hey, Al, I got
to talk to you a little bit. So the rules
in the house, the rules in the house. The new
man friend is not allowed in Beyonca's bedroom.

Speaker 1 (05:02):
I'm fine with that, absolutely not he's not allowed in
the room.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
I'm fine with that. Why is Beyonca's brother allowed to
bring girls up in the room. I don't think he
ever did.

Speaker 5 (05:16):
I don't remember.

Speaker 3 (05:18):
Well, mom had no problem with it. What my mom?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Don't do this. You're gonna give your dad a heart attack?

Speaker 3 (05:23):
Man, Hey, no, trust he's the truth. Hey, I'm gonna
name drive real quick. I was always in Austin's room
and it was no issue. And you guys all knew it.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
She the twenty eight year old they were watching a movie.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Wants to do exactly not in my house.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
Not in my house.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Sorry, Well, then we'll get apartment in Detroit.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
We'll do it there.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
Alle. No, come on, you're not she's you're not moving out.
You stay with your parents, You stay there until you
get married. Al I get the idea of this because
I had boys, and I know what boys think about.
We would never allow the boys to have girls up
in their room. We would always say, you can, you
can sit down one of the couches, the couch in
the living room or the couch in the basement.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
And that was it.

Speaker 3 (06:04):
See, I feelt the basement is just as worse.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Really, Why no basement?

Speaker 3 (06:09):
Wow?

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Yeah, we have cameras down there. Side.

Speaker 4 (06:12):
Well, how would you feel if her man friend put
his arm around her in front of you? Would that
be okay?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
I mean around yeah, hugging her? That's fine? Okay, but
no more, no let see.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
That, no more, no less, no less, because lucky I
would never be allowed to even have.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
That really a way. Yeah no, and Lydia, you're a
grown woman almost.

Speaker 4 (06:34):
What about handholding? Oh no, really, my dad would be
really upset.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
I didn't know about all that.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
I wasn't holding bra need a chaperone, real, yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
My parents would watch when my ex boyfriend was cover
and we'd send in the living room.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Both had to be like this is eighteens in county,
So it.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Was like a little awkward where you were sitting on
the couch and the couch is like two sofas obviously
for two people, but like me and him are on
like one side, because I thought my brother was gonna
sit on the other side. But my brother's like, I'm
in all the couch with you guys upstairs.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Hold on, I'm saying, al is on with us. Pianca's dad, Ruba,
are you there?

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Hey?

Speaker 1 (07:07):
How are you good? Ruba? What are your thoughts on this.

Speaker 5 (07:11):
I'm Middle Eastern myself, and I know it's the dumbest thing.
But none can do as they please. And females cannot
because and you'll disgrace the family name or something if
somebody wants to speak about you. But the boys, they're
the quote unquote next part of the household. They can
do as they please.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Wow, that won't be this disrespecting anybody's name.

Speaker 2 (07:32):
I feel like I should be like the boy of
this the man of this household.

Speaker 1 (07:36):
Here in this house. Yeah, I should be able to
do whatever I please. What's going on, Mariano? What's going on?

Speaker 3 (07:43):
Hey?

Speaker 2 (07:43):
Mojohar you guys.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
I'm chealthy into as well as you guys. Uh mean
Lylia run at Saint Church back in the day. I'm
thirty seven. I'm the one that just heads the baby scene. Anyway,
long story.

Speaker 2 (07:54):
Short, Yeah, I wasn't needed bringing girls home because I
thought it was disrespectful to my family.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
And so I knew she was the one that I
was going to marry. Okay, and now it's the time
I brought them home to introduce him.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
Now, my sister I chased her boyfriend's the way I
damn your kidnapped one.

Speaker 5 (08:09):
And threw them in a car.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
I love it, but I mean like she didn't bring
her first guy home until it was the guy she married.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Honestly, that's the way it should be.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
Brother. I'm telling you, I'm not going to bring a
guy homeless. I think I'm going to marry him. Also obviously, no, no,
that's good. No, how long is the relationship? But were
you did you bring her to your house?

Speaker 4 (08:34):
Uh? Two years?

Speaker 1 (08:37):
We got married.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
We got married, right, we got married right after that, Alick,
I brought her home and it was like, you know,
zeph Bay whatever, you know.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
I brought her home. I asked for her family's hand.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
And this, and then that was it.

Speaker 2 (08:50):

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Dad speaking you guys, Kelly, obviously that's your better language.
You guys can please speak.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
I should probably tink off. I oh, I want my
ear pod.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
What are they saying?

Speaker 1 (09:24):
What did you guys just say? Marina? I was telling
he probably knows my dad. Yeah, that's what I thought.
That's what I thought, all right, all right, guys. I
love you. Listen, I love you guys. Take care.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
Al.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
This is my thoughts in this one. We're gonna keep
your daughter a good girl. I'm gonna have a talk
