Speaker 1 (00:01):
Mojo one God, let me.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Take you back to the beginnings.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Alrighty ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (00:19):
You're a doo ahead.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
We we.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
It's Mojo in the Morning show. I got a question
I want to ask. I want to know if there
are any listeners of ours who have it that you're
uh significant others in you in you, you guys do
find your iPhone and you can see where each other
is at all times, like you can kind of see

(00:47):
their location at all times the location services friends. And
then I want to ask this question with asking if
you guys think that this is fair, because I think
this is not fair. Ready, okay, I have and I'll
show it to you guys on my phone. Here I
have on my phone. Find my phone, my phone and

(01:09):
put it in here. I have on here, find my
phone settings that there are two people that follow me,
my wife and my father in law.

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Those are the two people that follow me.

Speaker 6 (01:21):
So they can see where you are at all time.

Speaker 4 (01:23):
They can see where I am at all time at
any given time. But I noticed this the other day
when I wanted to know where Chelsea was. She doesn't
let me follow her. So when you say let me
what is it? Yeah, well I have said yes, I've
said to her, I go, hey, how come I don't

(01:43):
follow you?

Speaker 5 (01:44):
And she goes because why do you need to? That
was it?

Speaker 4 (01:48):
So I'm like, well, then I'm going to take my fine,
my off. I'm going to use that as my negotiation.
You can't tearrif me, if I can't tear you, we
you call Chelsea, Please give her a.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
Call for me.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Is that like her full reason is just oh, she's
in a metal Then no, don't do that. Okay, yeah,
don't that's not a good idea. Okay, that's right. Chelsea's
getting that. She's a doctor right now. Okay, do is
it fair to have one person follow and the other
person not follow?

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I would like to know.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
I'm on your side.

Speaker 8 (02:20):
I'm thinking you say no, no, I say no, it's
not fair. I follow Wes and West follows.

Speaker 9 (02:24):
Me, especially if we're married, Like, I need to know
where you are, not not even in a possessive way,
not that I'm like controlling or not that I'm monitoring
your every move or waiting for you at the light,
but just for I think safety reasons, we should probably
know where each other are.

Speaker 8 (02:42):
For me, it's so helpful to know, like if Wes
is on his way home from work, is you know,
stuff like that.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I think though, that she thinks that I would use
it more than just that. I always like, you'd track
her every move.

Speaker 9 (02:54):
I would.

Speaker 6 (02:55):
It is crazy. I mean, you can see when somebody
stopped at a red light.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
And honestly, I think it started back in the day.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
I think it started back in the day because I
was leaving town to go somewhere, and I think I
remember I was leaving town and I think I was like,
you know what, I'm going away. And I always send
her my info, like my flight info and hotel and stuff,
and I think the previous time before that, I didn't
send her like my info, and so the joke goes,
all right, well, I'm just gonna I'll send it. I'll

(03:24):
share with me my my contact, and that's how it
ended up starting. She necessary not necessarily wants to follow me.
I think she only wants to follow the kids, because
she does follow the boys all, you know, and knows
exactly where they are at all time. As far as
I'm concerned, I don't think that she doesn't want I
don't think she want cares what happens to me, and

(03:44):
you know that. I don't think she does.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
I don't think it's it's even if.

Speaker 8 (03:49):
Even if you look once a year, you know, God
forbidding it nervous about something.

Speaker 6 (03:53):
At least you have the ability to Jessica, are you there?

Speaker 10 (03:57):
I sure I am.

Speaker 5 (03:57):
Good morning, guys, morning, what's going on?

Speaker 9 (04:00):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (04:01):
I just want to let you know that you have
absolutely every right to feel the way that you feel.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Thank you.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
Me and my we have Life three sixty as our app.

Speaker 11 (04:10):
We did download it because of my son, but all
three of us, me and my son and my husband
are on it.

Speaker 12 (04:15):
So yeah, we know each other's locations at all time.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Do me a favorish with Jessica. Go on Life three
sixty right now and tell me exactly where your husband is.

Speaker 13 (04:24):
Oh, he's still at home.

Speaker 10 (04:26):
I didn't get the notifications thing that he left the house.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Oh you get notifications.

Speaker 9 (04:30):
Oh my god, he's still home. So wow.

Speaker 4 (04:34):
So I didn't realize Life three sixty gives notifications on
there that would be annoying.

Speaker 5 (04:38):
After like five or ten notifications.

Speaker 14 (04:42):
It's annoying.

Speaker 4 (04:43):
It is, I like, what's the like?

Speaker 9 (04:44):
Does it tell you that what's your husband's name David, Like,
will they say David has left the house? Like, what
is the notification that he's on the move?

Speaker 11 (04:53):
Yes, well so it says hobby, but yes it says
he'bby left home.

Speaker 6 (04:57):
Oh, I would turn those notifications off. That would drive me.

Speaker 15 (05:01):
So the only reason we had him on is because
of my son.

Speaker 16 (05:03):
Again, he just turned eighteen, so it's we probably won't
use it as much anymore.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
Has it ever been that hubby uh has been in
a place he should not.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Have been in?

Speaker 17 (05:14):
No?

Speaker 6 (05:15):
No, I have a very faithful hubby, thanks thankfully.

Speaker 4 (05:18):
So how about you? Have you ever been in a
place that you weren't supposed to be in? What's going on? Nicole? Misfit?
Nicole is on with us right now? Do you guys
share locations?

Speaker 9 (05:31):
Hell?

Speaker 17 (05:32):
No?

Speaker 4 (05:34):
Why is that?

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Nicole?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Why are you not sharing?

Speaker 18 (05:37):
We did it?

Speaker 19 (05:38):
He used to be right, you're a tech man at
where a work.

Speaker 20 (05:44):
At dot? Now I don't quote my every move?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
So so what very people do before?

Speaker 21 (05:52):
All the married couple that were married here?

Speaker 4 (05:56):
Honestly, Nicole, you and Chelsea need to talk to each
other because I think exactly the way that you just
described it is probably what I would do to Chelsea,
and I think that you're you know, uh, concerned about
your husband's safety. We're concerned that you're out spending money.
That's probably the problem.

Speaker 20 (06:12):
Exactly, And we don't want to hear that. It's been enough.

Speaker 21 (06:15):
We gotta have Amazon packages and why now we got
to hear every five minutes when we are houses and
we stay where we at, we stay where we at.

Speaker 4 (06:26):
You just trust it it, Yeah, obviously you're very trustworthy. Jordan.
What's up?

Speaker 5 (06:31):
It's Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 21 (06:33):
Hey, how's it going, guys?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Good? What's going on?

Speaker 22 (06:36):
Jordan?

Speaker 21 (06:37):
So, my best friend and I have locations and we
use Life three sixty two because I have an iPhone.

Speaker 23 (06:44):
She has Android.

Speaker 21 (06:45):
And the thing that I don't like about it, and
it's kind of weird, is if she leaves her house,
it does notify me, but it will actually show me
at the end of the day her entire round the
entire day, so I could find out if she drove
in circles, if she went this way that way.

Speaker 24 (07:03):
But it is kind of.

Speaker 21 (07:04):
Cool because then you can you know, I mean, in
a way, it's okay, but in another sense it's kind
of weird because I've gotten lost before and I call
her and I'm like, hey, it might look weird on
my on my.

Speaker 20 (07:14):
Vacation, but.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
I will tell you that that might get a little
annoying after a while. The Life three sixty things sounds.

Speaker 9 (07:22):
Like what happens like if your phone dies, does it
alert that person or does it just seem like you've
been at that location for I think it goes to
your last location.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
I can find your I don't know about Life three
sixty what's out? But Trish, good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 25 (07:37):
So my wife is a firefighter in town and her
house happens to be like an out like just a
mile south of where we live, and she's very busy,
and we have that three sixty and every time she
goes by the back.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
Fence, she's home, she's away, she's home, she's away. I
finally just shut it off. Yeah, that would get annoying.

Speaker 26 (07:57):
It's just over and over and over.

Speaker 25 (08:00):
And then as I sit on the couch, I do
feel slightly guilty that she's working so hard.

Speaker 4 (08:05):
That is true, Like I would make me feel guilty
that I'm doing nothing but watching uh you know, binge,
watching a.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
TV show and watching where Chelsea goes.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
Yeah, I want to do it. I want it just
for the case of Chelsea driving down or child the road,
I can say, hey, can you stop?

Speaker 22 (08:21):
It?

Speaker 8 (08:21):
Beyond juice for me to have done that so many
times with us, Yes, hey Kevin, what's going on?

Speaker 27 (08:29):
Good morning everybody, How are you going?

Speaker 4 (08:32):
What's up?

Speaker 27 (08:34):
So I used it to track my ex girlfriend who
cheated on me. There we go, And this is the
reason why I'm a Galaxy user. Because of this. I
tracked her, following her to I live in California, so
I attracted it. In and out, tractor, going to the
girl's house, tractor everywhere around the Bay Area.

Speaker 4 (08:55):
Wait a second, with a girl.

Speaker 27 (08:58):
Yeah, it was her co worker. It's a long story, lesbian. Yeah,
it happened in my house, going through her phone, going
through her iPhone. She put a lock on it and everything.
So this is the reason why I like War the

(09:19):
Roses because of this.

Speaker 4 (09:21):
That's amazing. I would have a hard time across the
world too.

Speaker 22 (09:27):
Yeah.

Speaker 27 (09:27):
And then on top of that, I also saw all
the photos that were happening. So what I did was
I changed the password and deleted photos from her phone.
So yeah, I'm team Galaxy to the day I die.

Speaker 4 (09:39):
I love that. I love that he is, uh completely
giving up on Apple products because he's so scarred. RUBI,
what's up, Ruba?

Speaker 12 (09:51):
I used signed my iPhone and I'm not gonna lie.
I have well my ex now, but I had shared
her location with my friends, so she didn't know that
I knew where she'd be type thing, and I actually
thought her cheating. And as far as Life three sixty,
it'll tell you the whole route. You have to pay
like extra for that stuff, but it'll tell you, like

(10:11):
their whole route for the day.

Speaker 6 (10:13):
If they like use their phone, they'll tell you they
were seating. Yeah, they're like.

Speaker 12 (10:18):
Talking on the phone like stuff like that, which is because.

Speaker 4 (10:23):
When you get there, you caught your person cheating.

Speaker 9 (10:25):
Did you go to the place that they were at
or just by the location you knew they were somewhere
they shouldn't have been.

Speaker 12 (10:32):
Oh no, she sent me the like my friend screenshotted
and sent me and I already knew she was with
her ex. So yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (10:44):
Which service is better than doing find my iPhone or doing.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
The the other one?

Speaker 28 (10:51):
The the more intense I find, I like, find my iPhone?

Speaker 4 (10:55):
What is something?

Speaker 29 (10:56):
You guys have it?

Speaker 12 (10:57):
And it says location turned off? Or location unavailable. There's
two different things. One of them her phone's like is that?
The other one the person like they shut their location
off so they don't like you don't see it.

Speaker 4 (11:08):
Yeah, okay, So what if what if she's following me?

Speaker 5 (11:14):
How do I turn mine off so she can't see me?

Speaker 12 (11:17):
You go to find my like the app, find my
iPhone and where it says me like in the little icon,
it'll be it'll be green for it to be on,
but if you turn it off, it'll turn off. And
she's like, Chelsea won't be able to see where you're at.

Speaker 5 (11:29):
But she doesn't get a notification, does she.

Speaker 12 (11:32):
No, she won't get an rtification. She won't notice it
until she actually goes to see where you're at.

Speaker 5 (11:36):
Okay, all right, thank you, Mojo.

Speaker 12 (11:39):
Don't be trying.

Speaker 3 (11:41):
Thank you on New Year's resolutions. Those are the dreams
that we have that never come true. This is Mojo
in the Morning, Sun.

Speaker 6 (11:51):
And iHeartRadio Station.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
You're a cheater. Here, let me read you a list
of people. This you'll respect you.

Speaker 3 (11:59):
I swear the A list, no no list.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Another War of the roseses. After seven on Mojo in
the Morning, it's time for more.

Speaker 30 (12:07):
Mojo Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (12:11):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning. Anna, did
you witness a hit and run? Or were you part
of a hit and run? You were a part?

Speaker 5 (12:18):
Wait saying you weren't the runner?

Speaker 29 (12:19):
Were you?

Speaker 12 (12:19):
No?

Speaker 28 (12:20):
This is not the first time it has happened to
me either. So I was going to Corktown to visit
my friend Doug Schwartz and his office, which is in
Corktown right off of Michigan Ave. So if you're familiar
with that area, it's all street parking, similar to downtown.
And I was parked with someone in front of me

(12:40):
and behind me. As I was about to get out
of my car to go into his office, the person
in front of me was trying to leave their parking spot.
They threw it in reverse, hit my bumper, and then
I kind of like looked around, like wait, are they
serious right now, got out of my car to say,
like what's going on?

Speaker 10 (12:59):
And they just the window and flew away.

Speaker 29 (13:02):
Oh.

Speaker 10 (13:03):
Luckily there was not.

Speaker 28 (13:04):
Like damage to my bumper. I think there was like
paint on it, so I was able to like scratch
it off. But this isn't the first time it's happened
to me. It happens to me downtown all the time.
One time, a guy even when came out of his
window and said, this is why you have bumpers, as
if it's trying to justify it, right.

Speaker 4 (13:20):
Wow, can I tell you that I agree with them,
this is why you have bumpers. So when I when
I went to college, I went to college in Chicago,
in downtown Chicago, and I would commute from the suburbs,
like a kid that would go to Wayne State here
would go and commute, and you would have to do
street parking all the time.

Speaker 5 (13:37):
And when you're street parking, you're street parking.

Speaker 4 (13:39):
In very tight spots, and it's kind of like you
back up to a point that you may love tap
the car that's in front of you or whatever. If
you hit it hard enough, you're going to leave a mark.
Bumpers are meant to be bumped.

Speaker 8 (13:52):
I think either way you have to get off or
get off. You have to get out in Texas exactly
just out of respect. Yeah, happen is appropriate?

Speaker 4 (14:00):
Tapping?

Speaker 22 (14:00):
Is was it?

Speaker 6 (14:03):
You have to get out?

Speaker 31 (14:03):
Well?

Speaker 10 (14:04):
It was kind of fast.

Speaker 28 (14:05):
Luckily I just have a big Bronco and they were
in like a little I don't know what.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
If you tap, you don't leave a mark. If you tap,
you need to leave the mark.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
Didn't honestly, yeah, like.

Speaker 10 (14:14):
A little white mark. I just scratched it.

Speaker 5 (14:17):
So did you go away?

Speaker 17 (14:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 10 (14:19):
I did go away? Okay if there was exactly.

Speaker 9 (14:24):
But my man that hit or didn't know that.

Speaker 4 (14:28):
That's the problem. Here's the thing. You're in a parking lot. Okay,
you're you were to shop Kroger Meyer which one is
shot at? I do Kroger?

Speaker 5 (14:36):
Okay, shop that's okay, you don't look around.

Speaker 10 (14:38):
I usually do Roger delivery.

Speaker 5 (14:41):
Okay, all right, you shopped at Kroger. You actually go
to it. But by the way, I'm the official voice
of Kroger watching.

Speaker 10 (14:46):
I hear your voice in there.

Speaker 4 (14:47):
All that's right, thank you? Wait, you just do Kroger delivery.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
You just like it?

Speaker 4 (14:51):
All right?

Speaker 5 (14:52):
You go to you go to Kroger. You're park in
the parking lot. You're in the parking lot.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
You open up that big door of yours on that
big Bronco which, by the way, you got a lo
a girl that drives a truck. Yeah, So you get
out of it and you bang into the truck car
next to you. What do you do is there a
mark on the car? Well, I'm saying you bang into it.
You banged into it. You leave maybe even a love
tap like that guy you left you?

Speaker 9 (15:16):
Do you leave a note? Or do you say.

Speaker 4 (15:17):
Something to them?

Speaker 10 (15:18):
I at least assess the damage.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
Would you say something to them if you dented it?
Probably if they weren't there, would.

Speaker 9 (15:24):
You how big the dentist facts, I'm not about to
wait all day for you to get your grapes and
shaking like, I'm not about to wait all day.

Speaker 2 (15:30):
No, it is big enough.

Speaker 9 (15:32):
I'm probably gonna leave.

Speaker 6 (15:32):
My car before.

Speaker 9 (15:35):
I'm not gonna I'm about to wait all day. I
love you all day.

Speaker 4 (15:39):
So wait, So if you leave a mark in the car,
and it's a significant enough mark, if a person's not there,
what he don't know?

Speaker 6 (15:47):
Can I tell you something? You can't do that anymore.
There are cameras everywhere.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Very true.

Speaker 5 (15:52):
You should have seen and you're in trouble.

Speaker 4 (15:54):
You should have seen the bang, you know, because it
was it was windy, like a week or two weeks ago.
You just see the bang that I witnessed pulling. It
was in the parking lot, was at the team rehab
that I go to for my physical therapy.

Speaker 5 (16:08):
They up the door. This person opens up the door.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
They banged into this bastard's car so because the window
wins and just took it and just banged into it.
And I'm like, I think something else is gonna need
to rehab right now. It was like crazy and she
just kind of looks and you know that at that point,
if you have a like if you have a white car,
uh anna, if it leaves a white mark on there,
you go parking a different spot. What's up, Jacob? How

(16:33):
you doing?

Speaker 25 (16:35):
Hey?

Speaker 32 (16:35):
How are you guys today?

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Good? What's going on?

Speaker 32 (16:38):
I hit and run story?

Speaker 33 (16:40):
Uh me and four witnesses in the same car for downtown.
Like there's a courthouse, courthouse square, plenty of people around.

Speaker 34 (16:49):
Old guy pops.

Speaker 32 (16:50):
In his car, throws up, reverse smokes us, shakes us.

Speaker 22 (16:56):
We roll the windows down.

Speaker 32 (16:58):
Hey, you just hit our car back? No good it
and he wow, the.

Speaker 33 (17:05):
Kids bumper, the guy's bumper, my friends bumper like this.

Speaker 4 (17:09):
I just drove on and you guys didn't say anything,
like you didn't take a picture or do anything like that.

Speaker 27 (17:15):
This was fifteen twenty years ago.

Speaker 4 (17:18):
Okay, so as well, by the way, I love when
people tell a story like that that they probably should
have done more to it, and they always go. And
it was fifteen twenty years ago. You know, the statute
of limitations has just worn off on that. Eight four
four Mojo Live eight four four six six five six
five four eight Katie, what's up?

Speaker 35 (17:36):
Mojo say you're the person doing the tapping without saying
you're the.

Speaker 31 (17:40):
Person doing the tap.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
Yeah, Katie, I have tapped before you parked.

Speaker 5 (17:47):
I am totally a tapper, I like, but I'm going
to say this to you.

Speaker 4 (17:50):
Now we're that we're working in the city and we're
in Eastern Market and occasionally we have to street park.

Speaker 5 (17:57):
There are times where you got to fit in tight spots.

Speaker 36 (17:59):
Extremely Nah, you can't tap freely.

Speaker 14 (18:02):
You got it on.

Speaker 34 (18:03):
Off to it.

Speaker 4 (18:03):
Well, first off, my car from Gordon Chevrolet Ding has
this thing now on it where it automatically stops so
it will not go further. And I think I think
I made.

Speaker 31 (18:14):
That for people like you.

Speaker 8 (18:16):
That saved me so many times I thought I've hit
people or hit things and it stopped.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
It jerks so bad. Yeah, so it doesn't tap. I
missed the love tap, Katie. I do miss it. I
missed giving people go, here's your.

Speaker 35 (18:30):
Phone, tappy tap, there's your love.

Speaker 5 (18:32):
Very thank you, Katie. I appreciate you. What's up, Stephanie?
How you doing.

Speaker 13 (18:38):
Good?

Speaker 9 (18:38):
How are you?

Speaker 4 (18:39):
We're doing good? What's going on? What do you think?

Speaker 37 (18:42):
My sister one time backed her car into a truck
in a parking lot, and then on her way home
that day, she had she was involved in a hit
and run, and so she went home and told my
dad that the damage for her car was caused by
the hit and run instead of the I'm back here tucked.

Speaker 4 (19:04):
No, it was good karma because that saved her from
your dad getting passed right yep, Yeah, I've thought about
that before. I've thought about that, like if I had
like a little because I got, you know, a little
dang or two, like on the side. You should see
my and by the way, Mike, hopefully Mike Porter from
Gordon's not listening, you should see my rims right now
for real.

Speaker 5 (19:22):
I hit the corner of a curve.

Speaker 4 (19:25):
It just it bums me out, and I got to
find somebody that can actually, you know, buff him out
or do something with him. But I keep thinking to myself, well,
somebody sideswipes me, then I say that that happened there, Sheila,
what's up, Sheila, Good morning.

Speaker 38 (19:40):
So I witnessed a really bad car accidental about three
months ago, driving down Jefferson into Gross Point Shores.

Speaker 39 (19:46):
Almost there was the was like late at.

Speaker 14 (19:48):
Night for what I was doing.

Speaker 40 (19:50):
But I've seen someone justing.

Speaker 24 (19:53):
Like a explorer, ran completely into the construction signs, like
it was a miracle that none of the construction signs
bypassed his windshielded.

Speaker 32 (20:03):
You know, yeah, well that.

Speaker 12 (20:04):
Should say that.

Speaker 14 (20:05):
The man proceeded to drive off.

Speaker 34 (20:07):
So we started chasing and blowing the horn, you know,
just trying to see what the hell was going on.

Speaker 23 (20:12):
Come to find out, we pulled him over.

Speaker 41 (20:14):
I pulled him over.

Speaker 35 (20:16):
He's belligerently drawn, like it's not even funny.

Speaker 31 (20:22):
He was.

Speaker 24 (20:22):
He was so sad.

Speaker 41 (20:23):
Called the police.

Speaker 31 (20:24):
I don't know if they ever got him or not.

Speaker 23 (20:26):
But I say all that to say he drove.

Speaker 33 (20:28):
We followed him for about a mile.

Speaker 23 (20:29):
He was just leaking oil. It was just so bad.

Speaker 5 (20:31):
But wow, yeah, get those guys off the road. Thanks. Yeah,
that's uh, that's good for you to turn him in.

Speaker 4 (20:38):
Liz, Liz had this happen to her, and the cops
got involved in the cops, what do they do? What happened?

Speaker 7 (20:44):
Yeah, the cops.

Speaker 42 (20:45):
We witnessed somebody back into a bedley that was parked
in the alley by our house, and we saw the guy.
He you know, he backed into it. He kind of
circled the parked from lot and when left, but we
got a picture of his license and then we had
to figure out who that family belonged to. So we
were going into the businesses or whatever.

Speaker 43 (21:05):
And we found the guy.

Speaker 19 (21:06):
We called the police, and the police say, well, Michigan's
a no fault state, so I mean, we can send
him a ticket in the mail, but you know, really
there's nothing that we can do at this point.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
Wow. So yeah, but by doing in a back alley,
what's going on?

Speaker 44 (21:23):
Right?

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Why is.

Speaker 23 (21:25):
Right?

Speaker 38 (21:25):
I know, right, there's a there's a dance studio there.

Speaker 42 (21:28):
And he said that, Yeah, he said that he just
parked there to take something to his mother.

Speaker 19 (21:33):
But yeah he was.

Speaker 42 (21:35):
I mean, his mom and everybody were cussing out the
police because they were pretty much like, Michigan's a no
fault state. I like, so I can just hit anybody
in a parking lot and take off and I'm good.

Speaker 5 (21:45):
You know, Yeah, that cops, you didn't want to do
any writing.

Speaker 16 (21:48):
You know.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
It's interesting though, you ever see yourself like or see
a car that was like some guy driving like a
really really expensive car and they get hit and you're
just kind of like giggled a little bit.

Speaker 5 (21:57):
Do you ever know why? I don't know, I don't do.

Speaker 6 (21:59):
It feel that way when somebody's driving like an.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
A hole and then you know, but honestly, if a
person buys one of those cars and it's like one
of those A hole colors or whatever, like you know,
are there, here's one a Lamborghini. Pat what did you?
What did you do?

Speaker 5 (22:21):
What's up?

Speaker 22 (22:22):
Guys?

Speaker 4 (22:23):
What's going on?

Speaker 43 (22:25):
Man?

Speaker 44 (22:25):
So, me and my two cousins we go to a
gym and Deerborn we pull up next to this brand
new Lamborghini. This thing is like Neon green fly. We're
admiring it. My cousin opens his door right off the
passenger side and just smokes it. We we all look

(22:47):
at each other, close our doors and go park in
another barker.

Speaker 4 (22:51):
Okay, let's let's assess this call Neon Green Lamborghini. Tell
me that that guy doesn't got a small deck? Am
I right?

Speaker 44 (23:02):
Oh yeah, oh yeah, we walked into the gym, and
we we knew who it was.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
How we How can you tell who the guy is
in the gym that drives the neon green Lamborghini.

Speaker 44 (23:18):
Oh well, his his chest and arms were huge, his
legs were small, and he's wearing sorta Anna rob.

Speaker 9 (23:25):
Probably that's them.

Speaker 45 (23:33):
Booking your grand rabbits, hard radio stations, real people, real lives,
real fun. Mojo in the Morning guarantine human catching cheaters and.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Proud of it. I'm sorry, get your home for Boar
of the Roses. Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Peter thinks that his girlfriend is cheating. And who do
you think she's cheating with?

Speaker 22 (23:55):
Peter?

Speaker 30 (23:57):
I think she's cheating with her brother.

Speaker 5 (24:00):
Her brother, like like biological brother or step brother.

Speaker 30 (24:05):
It's her, it's just step brother.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
It's you know, it's funny is because you you see
this or you hear this in in porn.

Speaker 45 (24:13):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (24:15):
I just don't know if I would ever believe or
feel like that's realistic that somebody would do that.

Speaker 30 (24:20):
I I I don't think I want to believe it either.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
Why do you think that.

Speaker 30 (24:28):
Her her mom got me married like like a year ago,
and uh, she just kind of actually.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
Sorry, I gotta believe and try to control yourself.

Speaker 30 (24:45):
Okay, sorry, sorry, Yeah, she acts really really weird around him.

Speaker 9 (24:54):
Yeah, are they flirty with each other or what?

Speaker 22 (24:59):
No?

Speaker 30 (25:00):
Oh, it's like it's like the opposite. Like when so
they lived, they live in like the same house, and whenever,
whenever I'm over there, she actually ignores him. She she
ignores him and is even more touchy feely with me
than she is at other times. And so it's just

(25:22):
it's it's weird, Like why would you ignore your brother.

Speaker 4 (25:26):
She's like purposely ignoring him, you think, in showing you
affection as to not make it obvious that she's got
something with him.

Speaker 5 (25:34):
That's what your their thought is.

Speaker 4 (25:37):
Yeah, how long they've been knowing each other? Like how
long had they been stepbrother and sister?

Speaker 30 (25:45):
I mean her mom's been remarried for for like a year, So.

Speaker 6 (25:49):
This is so fresh.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
That doesn't seem like a stepbrother though.

Speaker 9 (25:53):
That seems like that's the reason why I think it mattered,
Like if they had known each other since they were
like thirteen or fourteen, like that would be weird.

Speaker 6 (26:00):
I mean, honest, Scott, I do know. I do have
a girl that I went to college with.

Speaker 8 (26:04):
She's actually one of my roommates, and she she was
dating a guy and then her dad met his mom
and they got married.

Speaker 6 (26:11):
So now their stepbrother, stepsister and husband wife.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
Wow. Yes, wow, I mean I do think it's interesting
when people act differently around somebody that they might.

Speaker 5 (26:22):
Have a crush on or have.

Speaker 4 (26:24):
You know what I mean, Like if you have if
you have feelings for somebody, it's pretty you know, right,
you act you act different. This one is interesting because
it's your mom's husband's son, which to me seems like
that would be more what you'd call it than a stepbrother,
because you really haven't he hasn't been around that much.

Speaker 5 (26:44):
But I guess it is technically your stepbrother.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
All right, So you want us to do a three
way call where we call both those guys up together
and see what they sound like talking. Yeah, we're gonna
call up both of these guys at the same time
and we're going to see how they talked each other.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
It's the War of the roses.

Speaker 24 (27:15):
Hello, Hello, what's up?

Speaker 46 (27:26):
What do you mean with stuff?

Speaker 5 (27:27):
You called me?

Speaker 23 (27:29):
No?

Speaker 27 (27:30):
You called me.

Speaker 26 (27:32):
No, don't be weird?

Speaker 9 (27:36):
What do you say that.

Speaker 30 (27:38):
I'm just laying in bed, I'm scrolling.

Speaker 17 (27:41):
What are you doing.

Speaker 44 (27:43):
What?

Speaker 27 (27:44):
I know.

Speaker 47 (27:48):
It's nice, it's good when you get home.

Speaker 22 (27:53):
Not sure.

Speaker 26 (27:56):
Why are you calling me?

Speaker 5 (27:59):
I didn't call you, Yes you did.

Speaker 30 (28:05):
No, I got a call from iHeart, from my heart.

Speaker 2 (28:15):
Wait are we on Mojo?

Speaker 32 (28:21):
What you know the Morning Show?

Speaker 27 (28:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (28:28):
I think I screwed up and called him from the
wrong line, dumb ass, Sarah. Yeah, Hey, Sarah, this is
actually the Mojo in the Morning Show. It's Mojo and
Shannon and cav.

Speaker 22 (28:46):
Hi.

Speaker 44 (28:47):
Hi.

Speaker 4 (28:50):
You and your brother is Calvin?

Speaker 47 (28:54):
Yeah, my mom's husband's son.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Calvin.

Speaker 32 (28:59):
Hey, MOJOI so.

Speaker 4 (29:01):
You do you listen? You listen to the show Calvin
every morning on my way to work. Well, guess what
you're on the Mojo in the Morning Show?

Speaker 5 (29:10):
First? Calvin, Calvin and Sarah.

Speaker 6 (29:19):
Do you guys know who we're calling?

Speaker 5 (29:23):
No idea, but I'm pretty sure it's something up if
you're calling me.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
By the way, I gotta be quite honest with you,
just from hearing you guys talk to each other.

Speaker 5 (29:34):
I just don't think that there's anything going I think.

Speaker 6 (29:38):
I have actually a lot of questions.

Speaker 4 (29:40):
I think there's more possibly going on between Yes, Sarah, Yeah,
Peter's on the phone with us too. Okay, Peter called
us up because he was worried that there was something

(30:00):
going on between you and and I like how you
referred to it. You referred to it not as your stepbrother,
but you referred to Calvin as your mom's husband's son.

Speaker 24 (30:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 15 (30:16):
Yeah, I mean that's what he is.

Speaker 27 (30:18):
So so.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
Peter thinks that you guys act weird around each other
and was worried that there's something between the two of
you guys.

Speaker 15 (30:31):
Okay, well, I mean I'd love to put him at
ease because that like be really messed up.

Speaker 5 (30:38):
So there is nothing between the two of you.

Speaker 47 (30:41):
No, there's nothing going on, Like I said.

Speaker 22 (30:48):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
That's actually kind of funny, Peter. There's nothing. They don't
even like each other, but.

Speaker 30 (30:58):
They really weird around each other. Like it doesn't as
if they didn't like each other, Why would they be
so weird around each other.

Speaker 6 (31:08):
Maybe because they don't.

Speaker 9 (31:10):
They don't care.

Speaker 5 (31:11):
They don't know each other, you know, they don't.

Speaker 6 (31:12):
They don't care to even like make small talker.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
I don't think there's anything going on here, Peter. I
think that there's something now that's just going to be
weird between you guys. But hold on one sack. Okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
This is the home of War of the Roses, Mojo
in the Morning channel and iHeartRadio station.

Speaker 30 (31:38):
Mojo.

Speaker 2 (31:39):
He's charming and sweet, unless you're a cheater, then he'll
embarrass you live on the air.

Speaker 30 (31:46):
Here Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
I screwed that one up.

Speaker 44 (31:54):
I uh.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
I normally dial from one of two lines, and I
dialed from.

Speaker 4 (32:01):
Another one, not realizing that it shows off who's calling
instead of having an as an unidentified line or as
just a regular phone line. And that's obviously why he
was able to figure out that it was I Heart Calling,
which is the company that we work for. Amanda, your

(32:23):
thoughts on this swore the roses turned out to be nothing.

Speaker 5 (32:26):
We screwed it up. But what's going on? Or I
screwed it up?

Speaker 4 (32:29):
What's up?

Speaker 5 (32:29):
Amanda?

Speaker 47 (32:31):
Good morning?

Speaker 14 (32:31):
I actually thought it was so funny.

Speaker 48 (32:33):
You're so dopey sometimes, no in like a good way.

Speaker 40 (32:38):
It's like adorable.

Speaker 48 (32:40):
I kind of almost feel bad having a weird suspicion
that that Peter has a crush on Calvin.

Speaker 5 (32:50):
Really, where does that?

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Where does that come from? Because that was kind of
in the beginning when we were talking to it was
kind of like, Okay, maybe Peter, you know, who knows,
could be by or something.

Speaker 5 (33:06):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
And then when we made the phone call and the
brother answers the phone, We're like, okay, I don't even
know if he's by, you know what I mean? And
I have no idea what.

Speaker 5 (33:21):
You know, the Sarah's brother's you know, sexuality is. But
I have no clue.

Speaker 48 (33:28):
I think maybe I'm just listening to him talk and
it sounds a little flamboyant.

Speaker 4 (33:35):
I just hate to even have it be one of
those things where we kind of come up to, you know,
because I you know, I'm not going to out anybody
or try to pretend like I'm outing somebody, you know,
But I would like to focus on something because I
do want to. I don't want to waste his time
with having a War of the roses.

Speaker 27 (33:51):
Just go for not.

Speaker 4 (33:54):
We talked before about the whole relationship thing where people
get into relationships with somebody that is close to them,
and if you start spending time with somebody, Shannon brings
up something really interesting when we were asking why you
want to do the War of the Rose is about
a friend of hers that knew somebody that you know,
the parents ended up getting together because they were dating, right, correct, Yeah,

(34:16):
which makes it kind of weird. Are there any weird
relationships like that out there? Like, are there any things
that have ever happened like that where people got into relationships?

Speaker 8 (34:24):
Because yeah, and it's I mean, you think about it,
it is weird but totally kosher. Because so my friend
Jenny met her husband and then Jenny's mom passed away
when we were in college, so her dad was a
widow and her now husband's dad her mom was a widow.
So they then met each other fell in love. And

(34:45):
so now like I said, Jenny is her husband is
also her yeah stepbrother or technically it's wild, But do.

Speaker 9 (34:52):
You think it's the responsibility of the second party to say,
you know what, much like say in that situation where
the child meets someone they fall in love, do you
think it's the parents' responsibility to say, you know what,
I'm not going to make this weird even though we
have a connection because your son and now my daughter

(35:13):
are together, I'm just gonna stay away from you. Or
do you say I'm feeling this person regardless of what
my stepdaughter slash now daughter in law. Yeah, this feeling like, how.

Speaker 22 (35:24):
Do you do it?

Speaker 8 (35:25):
I if somebody would have called in and said that
story that I just told, I think I would have
gone a little. That's so weird to see. And this
was ten years ago. They've been married for over a decade.
To see what they have built, both her dad and
her and her husband in their respective families, it's so beautiful.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Well, it just sounds so crazy. We read in that
end of things, and I think that people find love.
They find love, especially if they're two grown or four
grown adults in this case, where I would just sit
there and go, Okay, it's okay. If they were high
school kids were dating and then the parents got together,
I'd be like, okay, this is happened a big dal.
What's going on buddy?

Speaker 32 (36:06):
Hey, good morning Mojoe. Here's the deal. She said, what
time will you be home? Well, what was that all about?
I mean, why do you need to know what time
he's going.

Speaker 27 (36:18):
To be home? So I think there is something going
on there.

Speaker 32 (36:20):
Also, when she was trying to explain herself with the
whole it's my dad's step step son, not her step brother.

Speaker 5 (36:27):
Yeah, yeah, you know going on?

Speaker 4 (36:31):
You you bring that up and then Jordan, you said
you were a little confused by something that was said
when we did the three way call.

Speaker 5 (36:36):
What did you want to say?

Speaker 22 (36:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 34 (36:41):
Is this more for like, if you're ever talking to someone,
why would you ever say, oh, I'm just laying in bed.
You don't tell someone that. You just be like, oh,
I'm just scrolling on TikTok, Yeah, I'm laying in.

Speaker 4 (36:57):
Bed, Like yeah, why did she say that? That is
actually an interesting thing. Both of you guys picked up
comments that were made even though they obviously didn't get
to anything more in their three way call. What's up?

Speaker 9 (37:11):
Amy?

Speaker 49 (37:11):
Hi?

Speaker 38 (37:13):
Hi?

Speaker 14 (37:14):
I thought it was interesting that they immediately knew each
other's voices.

Speaker 17 (37:18):
On the phone.

Speaker 4 (37:18):
No caller ID, Well, they recognized each other right away.
That means that they talk to each other pretty often. Well,
or they didn't call each other brother and sister though.

Speaker 6 (37:31):
Your voice from the Hello.

Speaker 4 (37:34):
Is it stafaa?

Speaker 23 (37:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 50 (37:37):
I feel like the same way as the last caller, Amy,
they knew each other and I don't know if you
guys missed it, but as soon as she asked what
time are you getting home? Everything kind of went down
here from that and I feel like kind of blew
the mark Mojo.

Speaker 5 (37:50):
Well, I screwed up by making the phone come out
on the wrong line.

Speaker 22 (37:53):
Yeah for sure.

Speaker 27 (37:55):
I probably kind of got away real quick and we
didn't see anything.

Speaker 12 (37:58):
Yeah for sure, we.

Speaker 4 (37:59):
Could have potentially have had something there, but it was
It's an honest mistake, you know, takes.

Speaker 5 (38:06):
What's up, Ashley? What's going on? Is Mojoe in the morning?

Speaker 44 (38:09):
Hi?

Speaker 9 (38:10):
Hey, how are you guys doing?

Speaker 4 (38:12):
What's happened in Ashley?

Speaker 24 (38:15):
My husband's brother married his stepsister. They got married before
their parents got married though.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Okay, so the parents met through them in their relationship. Yes, yep,
similar to what Chan's friend. Yeah, that's pretty wild. Were
people thinking it was weird when that happened? Or do
people not think.

Speaker 5 (38:35):
Much of it?

Speaker 31 (38:37):
People think it's weird even to this day.

Speaker 41 (38:39):
You know, you always have to explain that they got
married first the kids did, and then the parents did.

Speaker 12 (38:43):
But so people find it very odd.

Speaker 4 (38:46):
Yeah, where are they from? And they also from like
Indiana or something. I don't know, it seems like an Indiana.
That's actually friend Indiana Indiana people for some reason, they
love basketball and they I love their families. What's going on, Jenny?
How you doing?

Speaker 15 (39:04):
Hey?

Speaker 36 (39:04):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (39:05):
You wanted to comment on the War of the Roses
that happened on the air that turned into a train wreck.

Speaker 43 (39:10):
Go ahead, Yeah, I mean they found it totally flirty
in the beginning, and she's like, yeah, I'm just laying
in bed scrolling, and she asked what time he's getting home.
It seems like there's more going on.

Speaker 5 (39:23):
So you really do think that there's something more between
the two of them.

Speaker 43 (39:27):
I think that he knew because he obviously listens to
the show and iHeart called him yeah, and so he
didn't say anything, but she seemed really flirty and they
knew each.

Speaker 12 (39:42):
Other on the phone.

Speaker 4 (39:43):
I'm gonna it's on the podcast. You can go check
it out real quick. I gotta ask you, Jenny, hypothetically speaking,
if your parents were divorced and then your mom and
dad ended up, or mom or dad ended up meeting
somebody else, and that other person had a son that
was right around your age, and you guys were both,
you know, in their twenties, like these guys are, would

(40:06):
you ever mess around if you had feelings for them?

Speaker 43 (40:10):
I don't know. I guess it would depend on the person,
but I don't know.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
It's kind of weird because it's wild to think when
you're in your twenties, sometimes you meet somebody and just
because they are the child of a person that your
mom is messing around with or your dad's messing around with.
I wonder if it would be tough to turn that off,
you know what I mean? Like I've I've seen situations
where friends have been telling me that they've been around

(40:37):
distant cousins and they've had feelings for distant cousins and
it wasn't like they were first cousins, but it was
like they were like third cousins or something like that,
and they were like, yeah, my cousin's hunt.

Speaker 9 (40:48):
I remember once someone else dancing with a girl at
a wedding came back to the table. My mom said,
you know that's your cousin. I was so averted.

Speaker 4 (40:57):
But were you grinded?

Speaker 27 (40:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (41:00):
I was younger, but like whoa, okay, your voice disguise,
what's okay?

Speaker 4 (41:05):
Not my finest hour.

Speaker 51 (41:07):
My parents met because I was dating the Sun. Oh
they were together for some time, but my sister later
married my friend.

Speaker 4 (41:24):
So your parents met because you were dating the Sun,
and then your sister ended up marrying the guy that
you were dating. That was the with the boyfriend.

Speaker 9 (41:35):
Correct, that's it.

Speaker 5 (41:37):
That's an interesting Where are you guys from? You're from
Indiana to where are you from?

Speaker 13 (41:45):
Taylor?

Speaker 9 (41:47):
Taylor?

Speaker 5 (41:47):
Okay, so that's it.

Speaker 4 (41:50):
That's wild. How old was everybody? How old were you
when you started dating the sun May the early early
what say that again? Early high school? And then your
parents started dating when you were still in high school? Yes,
and then they got married. Okay, so his his what

(42:14):
dad or uh in your mom? Yes, and then your
sister later married him. So wait, so you guys were
in high school at the time that you got together.
That means that your sister ended up with this guy
after you guys probably had a parenting house where your
parents were still parenting you. Yes, so that is definitely

(42:38):
what we're talking about. That's that's kind of one of
those porn type situations, right did they did they mess around?

Speaker 44 (42:51):
Like?

Speaker 4 (42:53):
Did they mess did they mess around in uh in
high school too? You know know that's a weird, well,
you know it happens. That's it's weird because you know,
initially I think that this were the roses we did
because it seemed like it was ooh, this is scandalous.
This is going to be things, and we didn't get

(43:14):
much out of it. Your story is even a better
story than that one, because it truly is the situation.

Speaker 5 (43:20):
But all right, we're the Roses hair on the Mojo
on the Morning Show.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
This is Mojo in the Morning. New Year's resolutions we
can actually keep this year.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
I'm gonna look at my phone more.

Speaker 4 (43:31):
Kevin's going to a party this weekend. Yeah, got an
invite to a party. He read me the invitation, Shannon,
I don't think you heard it. You got to hear
this invitation. Tell me what stands out to you. Okay,
so it's said, and I'll skip some of it. It
says come vibe, drink up, and show love in parentheses. Yes,
that means gifts too, do and in all caps not

(43:56):
come empty handed.

Speaker 9 (43:57):
I love y'all. But I'm turning thirty, not thirteen. This
person is turning thirty years old, and it's telling me
that I have to bring them gifts, not.

Speaker 6 (44:09):
Just a gift, a really good gift, because they're turning thirty.

Speaker 47 (44:13):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (44:13):
I feel like it's the opposite.

Speaker 9 (44:15):
If you're thirteen years old, then yeah, I'm probably gonna
bring you a gift. If you thirty years old? Why
are you asking for gifts?

Speaker 8 (44:21):
Let me tell you something. I do think thirty deserves
a big gift. Thirty is a big birthday. However, you
do not ask for that, right, you do.

Speaker 38 (44:28):
Not ask for that.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
I see people usually say no gifts. I've never seen
people put on there the gifts.

Speaker 4 (44:34):
You better bring A good gift, is what that says.
I think this is called payback for Kevin and his
boldness with way he does things. I don't think so.

Speaker 8 (44:42):
So, first of remind us again what you asked for
from a friend of yours for your birthday?

Speaker 6 (44:49):
No, it's not No, what did you ask for?

Speaker 4 (44:51):
I don't remember what I asked for? No, I asked
what did I ask for?

Speaker 8 (44:54):
Sandy, you asked for a I don't know what it's called,
but it's like a Mickey Mouse.

Speaker 4 (45:00):
It's a it's a bear brick statue.

Speaker 6 (45:02):
The price tag eight hundred dollars.

Speaker 5 (45:05):
Yeah, it was limited though. And his name was Kevin.

Speaker 6 (45:09):
His friend asked him what he wanted for his birthday,
and you sent the link to that.

Speaker 4 (45:14):
See that's peer to peer communication.

Speaker 9 (45:16):
This is an invite to like, I don't know, like
a party website that they created that you send to everyone.

Speaker 6 (45:22):
Yeah, this is just like peer communication.

Speaker 4 (45:25):
Hey Shannon, this is what I want.

Speaker 9 (45:27):
This is telling the world. Look, I'm thirty. I'll better
bring gifts, don't come empty handy, all right.

Speaker 4 (45:31):
I want to know if any of our listeners think
that this person's out of line for this invitation or
is this a legit thing that people do eight four
to four Mojoe Live eight four four sixty six five
sixty five four eight. Whenever I get invited to parties,
the people usually are very much okay with you bringing
maybe a beverage or two. Like they'll say, hey, bring

(45:53):
something to a snack to pass Like I was at
a fireworks party last week. It was bring a snack
to pass along or to pat you know, to to share.
Or they'll say.

Speaker 6 (46:02):
Bringing that, bring a bottle of wine, some bring a drink, yeah,
whatever like that.

Speaker 4 (46:05):
I never have seen somebody that will actually say boldly
I want a gift and it better be a good one.

Speaker 8 (46:13):
I have ever seen people is like a baby shower
or a baby shower invitation where they're like, here's the registry. Also,
can you bring a gift or can you bring a
book and write a message in it so we can
start a book collection for a baby. Okay, I totally
understand that that makes sense. Birthday party, you can't do
that and you're still young.

Speaker 9 (46:30):
You outside like, I'm not trying to pull up and
bring you what am I supposed to bring you?

Speaker 27 (46:34):
Sir?

Speaker 4 (46:35):
Did you get a letter because on your last birthday
party that you had it was a surprise birthday.

Speaker 9 (46:40):
I got a lot of cards, like it was like
a card thing. Cards for sure, But bringing gifts?

Speaker 4 (46:46):
Did you get a little disappointed that there weren't more gifts,
like actual gift gifts.

Speaker 9 (46:50):
I was amazed that it was actually a party and
a lot of people showed up to I was blessed
and thankful for that. So I'm not coming in with
any expectation, let alone leaving disappointed make me uncomfortable.

Speaker 5 (47:01):
I don't like opening gifts in front of people. I
hate it.

Speaker 6 (47:04):
Hate it.

Speaker 9 (47:04):
It's not for you, it's for the person that gave
you to give, because if your reaction is anything other
than what they thought or how they felt you should react,
then you suck.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
For some strange reason, I don't like opening gifts in
front of people, Like I'm one of those people that
if somebody gives me a gift or whatever, I always
just let them be and hope that nobody brings them up.
And then later when they leave, I'll open them up
and talk about them. But I don't like opening in
front of people. And I always hated when I was
a little kid and I only had a couple kid parties.

(47:35):
One of the kid parties, I remember we had to
sit there and all the kids were around me, and
I was opening up gifts and there were some kids
that gave me like amazing like video games and things
like that. And then there were some kids that bought
me a shirt that guaranteed was not gonna fit me,
like their mom got me something, or they got me
like I was not a kid that was into art,

(47:55):
like they got me like Crayola crans or something. I'm like,
I don't really want this, but you have to fake it,
even at that age, or how to fake it. That's
how my my grandma got my restler.

Speaker 9 (48:04):
So Grandma Alice, my dad's mom, got pissed at my
sister not for Christmas because she was the grandparent that
only got closed. So we're running through and opening up
this thoughts. So I ain't getting you nothing. She was
so mad.

Speaker 4 (48:17):
What is considered a good gift for a thirty year old? Like,
what would they consider to be it's a boy or girl?
It's a boy?

Speaker 9 (48:24):
Wait, this is a man?

Speaker 5 (48:27):
Okay?

Speaker 9 (48:27):
I mean if probably some gym shoes low key, that's
what I was thinking by you know, like what are
you talking about?

Speaker 5 (48:33):
But you know his size? Like would you how would
you do? Guys?

Speaker 9 (48:35):
Probably get him a gift card to like a shoe
company or something like that, but like, no, no, I'm
not doing that for you.

Speaker 4 (48:42):
Text fold texture here. This is a texture here five
eight six says Kevin.

Speaker 5 (48:47):
What kind of friends?

Speaker 22 (48:48):
Do you have?

Speaker 4 (48:49):
Another texture here says that sounds like an invitation to
Kevin's next party? That does I'm telling you, I don't.
I think.

Speaker 9 (48:56):
The funniest is it's almost like tooche. You know, honestly,
I would say bring me a bottle. That would be
the thing that I would ask for that friend that
I sent the bear brick to. You know, we'll see
im to Mojo.

Speaker 5 (49:07):
Yeah. Put that in a WEO and Chelsea group chat.

Speaker 6 (49:10):
Hey guys, Hey.

Speaker 4 (49:15):
Steve, what's up Steve? How you doing? Buddy?

Speaker 17 (49:19):
Hello?

Speaker 9 (49:20):
How you doing?

Speaker 22 (49:20):
Man?

Speaker 4 (49:21):
What do you think about this. What do you think
about them putting the actual bring a gift and don't
show up with a cheap one, like I'm not thirteen
and I'm thirty.

Speaker 32 (49:29):
Look, he's thirty years old.

Speaker 22 (49:31):
It's just start dealing with the finer things in life.

Speaker 34 (49:35):
You get him a fifteen year old bottle scotch, Glenn
said it, and call it good.

Speaker 27 (49:40):
I mean, that's a good gift.

Speaker 9 (49:41):
Oh, that's a great one.

Speaker 8 (49:42):
That would be a great gift if keV thought about
it himself and brought it and didn't have to be
asked to bring it.

Speaker 9 (49:50):
And what if he's you know, good point, that's a
good point.

Speaker 34 (49:53):
I don't ever ask for gifts, But I think I.

Speaker 5 (49:58):
Think asking for the gift is the problem. And that's
where the problem came in.

Speaker 8 (50:01):
For it to be to say I'm not I'm turning thirty,
I'm not turning thirteen is crazy to me.

Speaker 9 (50:07):
And then when you're thirty years old, could you even
think or appreciate a fifteen year old bottle of scotch?
Like you don't think?

Speaker 4 (50:14):
So, you know what I mean? You got to be older.

Speaker 44 (50:16):
Now I'm thirty one and I love.

Speaker 4 (50:18):
It really Okay, Well, but I'm saying, like with this
person hair being thirty years old and asking for this
gift like this, you know what you do? You get
them a thirteen year old gift. You find some kind
of a game or something like you know I get
I'm a razor scooter.

Speaker 22 (50:31):
Yeah, gun, get a gun?

Speaker 6 (50:35):
You want to much, I'll give yourself.

Speaker 4 (50:37):
Do you want to know how funny that would be
to see him opening and up going? Oh, I thought
you wanted a thirteen year old.

Speaker 6 (50:42):
Now I got confused.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
She's some new shoots up for people who aren't already Awesome,
Happy New Year.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
From Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (50:49):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning. Shannon is
cleaning out her house. She's getting rid of anything that
causes cancer.

Speaker 8 (50:57):
My family is so annoyed with me, and that goes
for my husband, my step children, my children. I am
switching out everything in our home that I feel like
could cause cancer. So it started with shampoos, body washes, toothpastes.
That was the first stuff to get switched. Next up
any kitchen utensil or plate or cup that was plastic

(51:19):
that got tossed. Now I'm on the ti rade of
slowly teaching the kids how frickin' battle of the process.

Speaker 6 (51:27):
Food we eat is for them. And this started when.

Speaker 8 (51:32):
My best friend was diagnosed with and just found out
her scans are totally clean.

Speaker 4 (51:37):
Beautiful, beautiful cancer.

Speaker 8 (51:40):
So she's not crazy about it, but she would tell
me like, hey, that don't use that toothpaste.

Speaker 6 (51:45):
That toothpaste is really bad for you.

Speaker 8 (51:46):
Microplastics are a big thing, Like if you cut your
kid's food on plastic plates, do not do that anymore.

Speaker 6 (51:51):
Use paper plates or you know, like ceramic plates whatever.

Speaker 8 (51:56):
So that kind of got in my brain and then
I'm you know, kind of of dealing with something a
little bit of a health scare myself right now.

Speaker 6 (52:03):
So I'm just more aware of it, but I am
annoying the.

Speaker 8 (52:08):
Crap out of everyone else who lives in my house
right now, and there less is like, really, Shannon, like
you're gonna throw away the entire brand new bag of
Nerds gummy clusters that Lucy just bought, yet you're gonna
go get botox next week?

Speaker 1 (52:25):
Really?

Speaker 4 (52:27):
Doesn't everything cause cancer?

Speaker 6 (52:28):
Do you have anything else on this cancer?

Speaker 45 (52:30):
Now?

Speaker 6 (52:31):
Everything causes cancer?

Speaker 8 (52:33):
But I just feel like in being more aware, there
are easy changes that you could make.

Speaker 6 (52:41):
But at the expense of driving my family nuts.

Speaker 9 (52:43):
What would you do if you found out that dice
and hair dryer you love so much causes cancer?

Speaker 5 (52:50):
Should be walking in with wet hair.

Speaker 27 (52:53):
I do love that.

Speaker 6 (52:56):
You hit me where it really hurts.

Speaker 4 (52:58):
There is one thing that you're not getting get rid of,
and you're on it a lot, and that's your phone.
That phone, I know, in that phone, you know. So
Tony Travado told me that he never puts the phone
to his ear anymore. He only speaks on speaker or
he wears a uh a plug in headset because of that.
My grandma used to tell me, don't stand in front
of the microwave.

Speaker 9 (53:17):
Really, She's like, back up, really, I betwave the stuff.

Speaker 4 (53:26):
The stuff that's interesting when Shannon talking about like cutting
on plates and stuff.

Speaker 5 (53:30):
When I started hearing all that stuff really certain.

Speaker 4 (53:32):
There's a lot of there's a lot of things that
we used to you know, put our you know, in
our bodies basically by you.

Speaker 6 (53:40):
Know, microplastics. It's a huge don't go down the rabbit hole.

Speaker 5 (53:43):
Where is this rabbit hole?

Speaker 22 (53:44):
Was it?

Speaker 45 (53:44):
Like?

Speaker 4 (53:45):
On TikTok?

Speaker 9 (53:46):
I'm not but.

Speaker 5 (53:49):
What cancer?

Speaker 4 (53:51):
What's going on?

Speaker 9 (53:51):
Emma?

Speaker 20 (53:53):
Yeah, I'm going to the same thing as Shannon.

Speaker 12 (53:55):
But there's one thing I am not giving up, and
I'm wondering if she is.

Speaker 5 (54:00):
And that's botox.

Speaker 12 (54:03):
Heck no, I missed that.

Speaker 36 (54:05):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 52 (54:05):
It's like I'll get rid of all the microplastics and
my cutting boards, but inject me with that bochelona.

Speaker 20 (54:12):
In toxin.

Speaker 6 (54:14):
And I am doomed.

Speaker 9 (54:15):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 5 (54:16):
It is funny, isn't it. It's like that, And you know,
I don't know I Chelse.

Speaker 4 (54:23):
When Chelse had breast uh implant illness and had her
breast implants taken out of, I was like, man, that
was a wake up call because it completely changed Chelsea's
you know, immune system once she got breast implants. Like
I started realizing the stuff that we're doing to ourselves,

(54:43):
you know what I mean, just for Vanity's sake, you know.
But then also you're right about food, the red dye stuff,
like you should see, like I love Swedish fish in
my skittles and all that stuff. I just had a
box and you know those things are probably that's probably
a tumor after tumor putting.

Speaker 6 (55:02):
You keep telling.

Speaker 8 (55:04):
Because Smith was so upset that I was like throwing
away all this candy and and I was like, just
it's modern, Like we just need to be better about
moderation with it, because I just.

Speaker 4 (55:16):
Feel like this is interesting though, because like when we
were younger and stuff like this, or our parents were younger,
did all this stuff really cause cancer or did they
just put cancer and everything anyway just because the cancer
the cancer industry wants everybody to get cancer, so they
have to get cancer treatments and stuff. Like I was,
I think there's a cure for cancer, or I don't
care about the Ebstein files. Trump go out there and

(55:38):
let's put a cure for cancer out there, because you
know that they have it. That's just the drug companies
won't let us ask what's up.

Speaker 15 (55:43):
Aally, Hey, I just wanted to call in and say
that my husband I did the same thing, and he
said that I'm not getting rid of his cheese.

Speaker 14 (55:51):
It's and I'm not getting rid of his gist.

Speaker 4 (55:55):
You can take anything from my feetut butter crackers. Well
that's one for Shannon cheese.

Speaker 9 (55:59):
It you can get cancer from cheese.

Speaker 6 (56:03):
You can get cancer from.

Speaker 40 (56:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (56:06):
There really she is, She's right, ultra process.

Speaker 4 (56:09):
What about those little god things that you eat in
the morning. Can you get cancer from those things? I
really any of that nothing is safe, Damn Ashley, she's
making all the fund's gone now in Shannon's house. What's up?

Speaker 9 (56:25):
Chelsea?

Speaker 7 (56:28):
First of all, I don't know if I'll ever be
able to forgive Shannon for the cheese. It's sat like
I can't hear that, but also the whole thing with
microplastics with both of us working, I don't know if
my family would eat veggies if I couldn't have those
like microwave steambag veggies we can.

Speaker 6 (56:48):
Last night, again, it's moderation. I I replaced.

Speaker 8 (56:52):
Like in fact, Zach, all that stuff that I bought
you from Target for your house, throw it away.

Speaker 35 (56:57):
I threw all.

Speaker 4 (56:58):
Wait a second, Halloway, you took the cancer out of
your house and gave it to Zach for putting in
those house.

Speaker 6 (57:04):
I got it for Zach before I started cleaning up. No, no, no,
I got it for Zach before I started cleaning out
my house.

Speaker 4 (57:13):
She gave you cancer, bro. What's up Katie?

Speaker 41 (57:18):
Hey, good morning.

Speaker 19 (57:19):
I was gonna say, I'm making the small changes.

Speaker 53 (57:21):
In my house as well as as well as irritating
my mom like I just made her switch from aluminum
to illuminum.

Speaker 4 (57:27):
No, no, don't do that. Don't because she's it's gonna
smell like bad body or day. That stuff is the worst.
The worst is when you know, when people get rid
of this stuff and then they go buy you know,
whole food's uh deodorant and they smell like you know
ash or they try to make it that sol.

Speaker 47 (57:48):
Yeah, but I was also going to stay Shannon.

Speaker 21 (57:51):
As far as the food.

Speaker 53 (57:52):
What I'm trying to do in my house is try
and find a way to make that food that hole
with the it, you know, make it fun, make it
your own at your own stuff that you want to do,
but with the quality ingredients so you.

Speaker 9 (58:05):
Know what's in there.

Speaker 8 (58:05):
Yeah, it's hard. My kids are such picky eaters. And
then I end up buying something that I think is
healthy and West comes home and he's like, this is
legit worse than what you had before.

Speaker 4 (58:16):
I'm telling you, Oh, that's the thing we all think that.
I think somebody puts a story out on.

Speaker 9 (58:23):
The other.

Speaker 4 (58:24):
The other thing, uh right now is everybody is saying
that loopy loopy cases or.

Speaker 44 (58:31):
Is it.

Speaker 14 (58:39):
Him. I've been on the same kick Cachine and I
was telling lydia. I have that Yuka app and I
went to my parents' house and I was just like
throwing stuff away. This is bad, bad, bad, don't use this.
My parents are like what we it's it's almost driving
me not to speak. If you you can deep dive

(59:01):
through all this crazy, is all these crazy.

Speaker 6 (59:05):
Things, little little adjustments, that's what we're doing.

Speaker 9 (59:07):
Is dad pissed off with dad? Like rain no, my dad, No,
My dad didn't even care.

Speaker 14 (59:13):
My mom's like, but but Louis, our dog.

Speaker 20 (59:15):
Likes to eat this peted butter.

Speaker 9 (59:17):
Yeah, in a grocery store, if you scan it every
single thing and see what.

Speaker 6 (59:22):
You can see out, then you know, okay now yeah.

Speaker 14 (59:26):
And I think my main my main things are you know,
like laundry, detergent, dishwashing detergent, like even like you said,
cutting your food.

Speaker 4 (59:37):
It's in all this like listening out, you're going to
get it, if you're going to get it. I think
it's a genetics thing, I really do. I hate to
say it. I think it's all I think it's all genetics.
And I and I know how come the lady who's
ninety nine years old smokes sugar attes and drinks CPSI
every single day and take a podcast never yeah that
you know what it is that ladies got good genetics

(59:58):
in her house? But all right, hold on, this is
one for the people that love scented candles. What's the story, Abby?

Speaker 54 (01:00:06):
I had just heard recently that like having smoking or
smoking candles, having burning candles in your house, the scented
ones are just as dangerous for your lungs as smoking cigarettes.

Speaker 5 (01:00:18):
That great.

Speaker 4 (01:00:19):
And you know what I Abby, I have a scented
candle that smells like a cigarette. It's the most amazing thing.
I got it over at the candlestick store in the twelve.

Speaker 6 (01:00:34):
Do they even still have a can? Do they have candles?

Speaker 49 (01:00:37):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (01:00:37):
Yeah, they got them still.

Speaker 23 (01:00:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:00:39):
And we got a friend that's there shopping all the time.
You know that that's the case. All right, thank you
for the call. I appreciate it. What's up, Angie High?

Speaker 18 (01:00:51):
Hi guys?

Speaker 55 (01:00:51):
How are you?

Speaker 12 (01:00:52):
My comments for Shannon?

Speaker 55 (01:00:53):
So, me and my boyfriend were always on like Instagram
and we look at these reels where they talk about
it's not that like cost Course dams. I swear every
time we go to Costco, we're like spending three hundred
dollars it's alloying, and I'm like, well, let's not watch
those videos because it's.

Speaker 4 (01:01:15):
Yeah, yes, thank you for the call, Jalen, what's happening?

Speaker 27 (01:01:20):
Oh no, moch I was just calling to say, I mean,
we're all going to die.

Speaker 9 (01:01:23):
We might as well live a little and enjoy.

Speaker 4 (01:01:25):
All right. I mean, listen, look at look at Malcolm
Jamal Warner. The poor guy was fifty four years old on.

Speaker 5 (01:01:31):
A vacation and dies, you know what I mean? Yeah,
what was that? I don't know, I don't know, but
that was that.

Speaker 9 (01:01:48):
Kevin was turned on.

Speaker 4 (01:01:50):
Kevin was choke completely.

Speaker 2 (01:01:53):
Split tams for champagne and address from Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:02:00):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:02:00):
So you were out eating and you witnessed uh the
most you said, gross thing that you've seen in the
little So you.

Speaker 8 (01:02:09):
Know those restaurants where the tables are really close together
and so you have to sit. It was Wes and
I out to dinner, so you have to sit across
from each other. But there's somebody like on both sides
of me, somebody in a chair on both sides of him.

Speaker 5 (01:02:22):
And there's a chair I'm talking about cracking between you guys.

Speaker 8 (01:02:25):
Like the tables, Like the tables are like really close together.
There's like a booth along the wall, then the tables,
then like the chairs. So that's the situation of how
we were sitting the table next to us. A guy
sits down and they were like on the corner. So
the booth kind of curved around. So this guy's girlfriend
was sitting next to me in the booth area.

Speaker 5 (01:02:46):
Okay.

Speaker 8 (01:02:47):
Then he sat next to her in the booth area
and put his dirty ass feet his shoes up on
the chair for the dinner. So Wes for dinner sat
with the sky's feet basically like six inches away from
him the whole time.

Speaker 6 (01:03:06):
And I'm like, you can't do that.

Speaker 8 (01:03:08):
Shoes on Kosher. His shoes were on Okay, Okay, fine,
I still think it was shoes. It was a nice restaurant.
It was like like we dressed up to go to
this restaurant and this guy's got his dirty shoes next
to us. We sneakers, Okay, what kind? I did not

(01:03:30):
look I I was on the other side clean.

Speaker 1 (01:03:32):
You know.

Speaker 6 (01:03:32):
Here's no, that's why I said they were dirty ass shoes.

Speaker 5 (01:03:36):
You described dirty as shoes like any of the shoes
that were wearing my shoes.

Speaker 6 (01:03:39):
You have very nice probably designer shoes.

Speaker 5 (01:03:42):
No, I've got Jordan's on today. I'm wearing Jordan's.

Speaker 4 (01:03:45):
But let me but let me just okay, So if
his feet were exposed like he was wearing, you know,
like no shoes at all, which some people do that
they go to restaurants and they take their feet their
shoes off, I'm like, that's gross.

Speaker 5 (01:03:59):
But his shoes were there.

Speaker 4 (01:04:01):
I mean different.

Speaker 6 (01:04:03):
Do what you want.

Speaker 8 (01:04:04):
If you're at your own table, do what you want.
But when somebody is directly next to you, I feel
like that's so rude.

Speaker 9 (01:04:12):
Like there's a time and a place. Didn't your parents
teach you that? But you don't put your feet on furniture.

Speaker 4 (01:04:18):
I have seen it before where and I might have
even seen it with Wes because he's a gentlemanly guy.
He sits like this, his feet like Yeses, and his
shoes right here, his shoe is as close to that
guy as that.

Speaker 8 (01:04:35):
I am telling you, I'm going to do it because
and I'm not going to exaggerate.

Speaker 4 (01:04:38):
Listen, it's not it's not you have no, you have
no okay. But his foot was on the chair that
was their chair because it was at their table, right, Yes,
that's his real estate.

Speaker 6 (01:04:50):
Exactly, that's his real estate again, nicer restaurant.

Speaker 10 (01:04:53):
I had my foot on Kevin's chair yesterday.

Speaker 9 (01:04:56):
Matters.

Speaker 5 (01:04:57):
I'll see here. You guys, by the way, are so
up tight.

Speaker 6 (01:05:02):
You would come in come in here the next morning,
one hundred If that happened.

Speaker 8 (01:05:06):
To you'd be like this guy at his feet next
to Mona.

Speaker 4 (01:05:09):
Just because I'm not agreeing first off, just because I
didn't agree with you earlier this morning, and I'm not
agreeing with you now, I'm not agreeing. No, she's very
upset that I didn't agree with her on the west
with uh Lucy in the bed thing, all right, and
now she's upset that I'm not agreeing on the on
the chair. I think this.

Speaker 5 (01:05:27):
I've been in in restaurants before.

Speaker 4 (01:05:30):
Jay Alexander's, West Bloomfield, Michigan four eight three two four.
I don't know there's and I've been there before. And
I have sat in the booth, the corner booth you
know you where my Kaldians at. Shout out to my
Kaldians and anybody else from West Bollomfield. I have had
my feet up.

Speaker 8 (01:05:46):
On that different That is your personal booth, your personal space.
This place This is everybody's sitting right next to each other.

Speaker 5 (01:05:53):
But that was Wait, was the chair that he had
his foot on? A chair from your table?

Speaker 6 (01:05:58):
No, it was his table. What I'm saying, I'm gonna
do what the hell you want in your own booth.

Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
You gotta drama diagram.

Speaker 8 (01:06:07):
But this is everybody sitting right like almost communal, sitting
right next to me.

Speaker 28 (01:06:12):
Similar happened to me back in the day when I
was wilding out a little bit. I was out at
a very nice bar and there was an older gentleman
that came over to my table to talk to my
friends and I and we were just sort of going
with it because he was buying us shots of Don Julio.
We went to the bathroom and a girl followed us
in there and she said, Hey, I just want to

(01:06:33):
let you guys know, this guy is like aggressively massaging
his foot under the table while he talks to you.
It's making us uncomfortable to watch like massaging his foot
under the table. Said that was wrong.

Speaker 4 (01:06:46):
He's massa while he's looking at you, so you think
he was he was pleasuring his foot off under the.

Speaker 10 (01:06:53):
You should not have your shoes off. You should not
be putting your feet anywhere out at a restaurant.

Speaker 9 (01:06:58):
If he hadn't done that and you knew, would you
have to still took the shot or no?

Speaker 10 (01:07:04):
Right next?

Speaker 4 (01:07:05):
Wait, so you believe? And I don't want to be combative.
I feel like people are gonna get pissed me for
being combative. But I'm gonna say it. You think that
he was pleasuring his foots It wasn't me.

Speaker 10 (01:07:19):
Some girl came in and said this as if she
was concerned.

Speaker 9 (01:07:24):
I'm not into it, but I guess there are certain
nerves in there. I mean, if he's touching his crotch,
I get it. That's been hold on saying. Tim wants
to make a comment about this. What's up Tim?

Speaker 22 (01:07:37):
Hey mojo? Yes, these guys.

Speaker 44 (01:07:40):
What about when the guys go in the bathrooms and
they stand around the journals, everything that gets on their
shoes is now going on those chairs.

Speaker 4 (01:07:47):
Okay, well, then God help the bastard that sits in
that chair right after you. That guy gets up. You know,
I get it, but he's comfortable.

Speaker 22 (01:07:57):
You want to be comfortable if they put their shoes up.

Speaker 7 (01:07:59):
What you s.

Speaker 4 (01:08:01):
I don't know. I don't, but I'm saying I don't
think that.

Speaker 6 (01:08:05):
I didn't even care about that. That's not what I
was thinking of. It was just that I, you know,
was looking across at West and feet.

Speaker 9 (01:08:12):
It's just nasty.

Speaker 4 (01:08:13):
I don't think that Shannon and West have the right
to tell the man to not put your foot up
there because we didn't say.

Speaker 5 (01:08:18):
I don't know what you're saying it on the radio though,
right now. I mean, yeah, bro, would you say.

Speaker 9 (01:08:24):
That was right?

Speaker 6 (01:08:26):
I did not say anything.

Speaker 4 (01:08:27):
I'm not about to try to eat my food. And like,
looking at the Solio.

Speaker 10 (01:08:30):
Shoes, what if it was a girl's foot in a heel.

Speaker 9 (01:08:33):
If ours look nice?

Speaker 4 (01:08:37):
What if it was what if it was a Johnson
and Murphy leather with I don't know what that is,
like a nice you know the story that's in the mall,
the men's shoe for story.

Speaker 9 (01:08:47):
I never heard Johnson and Murphy. I know Johnson and Johnson.
Where do you buy your dress shoes?

Speaker 4 (01:08:54):
I can't do the analogy when I'm sorry, I didn't
even do it. Sorry, put your foot, don't not the place?
But hey, Nick, what's up? It's Moche on the morning.

Speaker 32 (01:09:04):
Hey, Hey, I'm a pretty chill guy.

Speaker 39 (01:09:06):
But you know, if if you're black white Chinese or
Chucky cheesey.

Speaker 27 (01:09:12):
Don't put your feet on.

Speaker 56 (01:09:13):
The pressure's gonna make I'm gonna have to dump this
bastard there.

Speaker 5 (01:09:24):
But no, that was funny.

Speaker 4 (01:09:25):
That was actually really funny.

Speaker 5 (01:09:26):
Nick.

Speaker 4 (01:09:27):
Nick, I want to put my feet if I want,
I don't do it necessarily because I'm not honestly, I'm
not flexible enough to get I want to be comfortable.
What's going on? Kenny? Hi, Kenny?

Speaker 2 (01:09:42):
What's that more?

Speaker 22 (01:09:42):
Joe? I was just really actually calling to you know,
just wish Chelsea happy healing and thank you man, thank you.
That's what I was That's what I was really calling for.
But you know, lidally he was like, what did you
got to say on.

Speaker 5 (01:09:58):
The topic, especially to you?

Speaker 22 (01:10:00):
Though?

Speaker 6 (01:10:00):
That's so nice.

Speaker 4 (01:10:02):
I you know what she's Chelsea is. Chelsea's doing doing good.
She's doing she's doing all right. I'm really really happy,
uh for how hang? And and can I be can
I be honest with you? She's a tough, tough, tough woman.
So I love her yesterday yesterday because she's got to
deal with me. Oh yeah, I was at U of

(01:10:28):
M yesterday and uh in literally one of the nice
people that work in the blood area was like Team
Chelsea to me, and a bunch of nurses said some
really nice things. So, Kenny, can I say something about
this whole thing? And I'm going to end it on
this whole deal and I'm not trying to look like
an a hole, just trying to argue about this whole
stuff that sometimes people do things that they shouldn't be doing.

(01:10:52):
Why are Shannon and West not focused on themselves in
this romantic time that they have together at the restaurant
that they got to focus on the guy's foot.

Speaker 6 (01:11:01):
You couldn't not focus on it. It was joining our dinner.

Speaker 46 (01:11:05):
I went, oh, my gosh, you need to just focus
on Sannon. Don't worry about those other people. Okay, exactly
West West is out there.

Speaker 6 (01:11:16):
Whether you're black or white, Oasion or.

Speaker 45 (01:11:23):
Detroit, go SNX mist a Grand Rabbits.

Speaker 2 (01:11:29):
Four five s n X ninety two five s M.

Speaker 45 (01:11:32):
Hey, I heard radio stations, real people, real lives, real fun.

Speaker 2 (01:11:37):
Mojo in the Morning guarantees you Mojo.

Speaker 29 (01:11:52):
Good.

Speaker 4 (01:11:52):
Let me take your back to the beginning.

Speaker 40 (01:11:54):
This is alright.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
You ready, you're listening to Mojo in the Morning. You're
a Dodo ahead, Let's go time.

Speaker 5 (01:12:06):
Alrighty is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:12:09):
Anna's got an interesting situation and she's wondering if she
should say something about this one.

Speaker 5 (01:12:14):
What's going on?

Speaker 10 (01:12:14):
I need advice.

Speaker 28 (01:12:16):
So there is a woman that I wouldn't say I'm
like good friends with, but it's somebody that I would
like to become friends with. And at this point we're
very close online, so supporting each other's social media posts,
commenting back and forth on DMS.

Speaker 10 (01:12:35):
All of that.

Speaker 28 (01:12:36):
She is with a man, and the man is always
in my DMS. Oh, I don't know if he knows.
He probably doesn't know that we're building this relationship, but
he's liking my stuff, He's sliding into my DMS. I'm
not responding, and I typically in this situation probably would
just stay out of it, not say anything. But because

(01:12:59):
I want to have a relationship with this woman, I
don't know if this is something I should tell her,
because what if we do become close and then this
comes out and she's like, why did you never see anything?

Speaker 4 (01:13:11):
Question about the back of these two? Are they married
or are they just they're not serious dating?

Speaker 10 (01:13:16):
Serious dating and publicly publicly dated together?

Speaker 5 (01:13:20):
Yes, so what is he in your d MS? Doing?

Speaker 28 (01:13:25):
Mostly just liking things. I think he said something to
me one time and I just didn't respond.

Speaker 5 (01:13:31):
Let me look, did he say something that was like inappropriate?

Speaker 8 (01:13:34):
And apros say, the liking doesn't bother me as much
as like, what is he saying?

Speaker 28 (01:13:39):
He he said a swear word, but he was saying
something very complimentary to one of my stories, like uh
am I allowed to say d A M and oh yeah, okay, okay,
so like I'm so afraid to break radio room.

Speaker 4 (01:13:54):
Oh no, no, thank you for that way. It's nice
that somebody it's nice that somebody of her hair. It
doesn't like to push it to us lose a license, cab.

Speaker 10 (01:14:03):
He's a damn girl looking good.

Speaker 28 (01:14:06):
And then like he's liking all of my stories when
I'm posting like Sophie's or something like that, and I'm like, okay,
I'm not responding, I'm not doing anything.

Speaker 10 (01:14:14):
But I still feel like she would be mad if out.

Speaker 4 (01:14:17):
You can't do it.

Speaker 9 (01:14:18):
I think your your question, well, how I looked at
it is you want to build a relationship with this
young lady and the situation sounds like it's messy already
and it would be even more messy if she found
out you were messing around with this guy. If you did, though,
what's their relationship though, Like, do you know their relationship?
Are they together?

Speaker 28 (01:14:37):
Gotten that deep in it? But like I'm in her
close friends. She frequently posts about him, and they have
children together, and maybe.

Speaker 5 (01:14:45):
They have an open relationship and they're both trying to
come at you.

Speaker 9 (01:14:50):
I don't think that's the case.

Speaker 8 (01:14:51):
Or maybe he thinks he's just giving you a compliment
and there's nothing wrong with that, which I personally disagree with.

Speaker 4 (01:14:57):
But we ain't doing that just compliments. Yeah, it's maybe
it's more innocent you're saying.

Speaker 8 (01:15:03):
It's never conversation conversation, but absolutely.

Speaker 10 (01:15:09):
Don't insert myself into this.

Speaker 9 (01:15:12):
I think what's the benefit. It's how I look at
it is the risk verse reward in the situation. It
seems like you're risking the potential for a good friend,
somebody that's already supportive in your life. It seems like
you're risking that for a guy that I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:15:29):
Do you like this guy?

Speaker 9 (01:15:30):
Like, do you want to see something move forward?

Speaker 4 (01:15:33):
That makes it?

Speaker 5 (01:15:33):
That makes the decision even clearer.

Speaker 10 (01:15:35):
So I should tell her.

Speaker 4 (01:15:36):
I don't know if you should tell her, but.

Speaker 10 (01:15:41):
Yeah, but this is.

Speaker 28 (01:15:42):
Someone that I would love to have in my circle,
Like I think she's so cool, such a boss.

Speaker 9 (01:15:47):
I'm not saying I don't do that and don't tell
her and hopes that it'll bring y'all closer, because that's
just nasty work.

Speaker 4 (01:15:53):
No, I haven't told that, because she'll.

Speaker 6 (01:15:56):
Side with him a million percent. Do not he respond
don't not even a thank you, not a like of hit.

Speaker 10 (01:16:04):
I would.

Speaker 8 (01:16:05):
I would just stay as far away as I could
from that situation.

Speaker 9 (01:16:08):
Morning.

Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
What's going on, Susan?

Speaker 11 (01:16:11):
Good morning guys, Good morning Susan, so Lydia, I have
a question. Does this make you feel uncomfortable?

Speaker 4 (01:16:17):
Real quick? That's not Lydia, and I know it's a
new voice. That is No, that's Anna Rob. Anna's the
newest member of the Mojo on the Morning Show. Yeah,
say hi to great. If you haven't seen what she
looks like, go on our Instagram or you can follow Anna.

Speaker 26 (01:16:31):
But she looks like Billie Eilis.

Speaker 9 (01:16:34):
I'll take it.

Speaker 4 (01:16:35):
Yeah, I would say, by the way, slid in her
d MS and said that exact same thing, and she
won't respond.

Speaker 5 (01:16:41):
Just friends with my wife. He'll go ahead.

Speaker 28 (01:16:43):
Only am uncomfortable because I know his relationship with this girl.
Like if I didn't know about that, I would just
be like, whatever, it's another guy, Like.

Speaker 11 (01:16:53):
You should say something and just tell her like, so
this is making me feel uncomfortable because we are I
consider us friends. So and then she can take it
from there and tell him like hey, like if she
doesn't find it, you know, any type of eventsive.

Speaker 6 (01:17:08):
Then she'll just be like, hey, my friend doesn't like that,
you know, stop doing that. Or if she does, then
that's you know, that's.

Speaker 10 (01:17:12):
Where it leads.

Speaker 26 (01:17:13):
It's her problem.

Speaker 11 (01:17:14):
It's their problem, really, But I feel like if you
feel like your friends, if you consider her an acquaintance
a friend, then I feel like it is kind of
your responsibility, especially if you want to build a relationship
with her. I would feel uncomfortable if my friend never
said anything to.

Speaker 5 (01:17:30):
Me about it. So you're saying say something trying.

Speaker 11 (01:17:32):
To build a relationship, Yeah, but I would just like
blame it on you, Like, hey, I don't really like
that knowing that you guys are in a relationship. You know,
I don't know how you feel about it. I'm not
trying to cause issues, but you know, like you know,
you're my friend. I feel like it's something I should.

Speaker 24 (01:17:46):
Be telling you.

Speaker 4 (01:17:47):
They're not friends though, Yeah, they're trying to become friends.
That's what she's trying to do. Anne also says you
should say something or but you say say something to
him huh oh, to him good morning.

Speaker 52 (01:17:59):
I think you could tell him, be like hey, your
wife or whoever she is to him, or just say hey,
aren't you this person's husband boyfriend and kind of like
mention it to him and be like if you don't
you know, kind.

Speaker 20 (01:18:13):
Of lay back a little bit.

Speaker 52 (01:18:14):
She will find out. I like that.

Speaker 6 (01:18:16):
I don't you don't even need the second part, aren't
you so and so his boyfriend?

Speaker 4 (01:18:19):
Question?

Speaker 6 (01:18:19):
Mark done? Don't respond again. Yeah, if you say anything,
that's a great thing to say.

Speaker 5 (01:18:24):
Sarah, what do you think Anna should do?

Speaker 52 (01:18:28):
My question is is why is he not blocked?

Speaker 5 (01:18:31):
Why is she not already blocked him?

Speaker 35 (01:18:35):
Yes, because if you already know that he is in
a relationship with this woman that you're trying to build
a friendship with, and you start seeing the lights and
maybe a few dms, I would have immediately blocked him.

Speaker 9 (01:18:49):
But Anna, also you have to understand it's not yourself.

Speaker 4 (01:18:53):
She's not a normal person that's on the Instagram or
on any social media platform. That's what she does for
a living. She does like influencing stuff, constant creation, And
can I be honest with you, like, I think if
it was just the okay, regular, you would just block.
I think if she starts blocking him right away, I
think I personally think he will go to her and

(01:19:14):
go God, that friend of yours blocked me, and I
was just trying to tell her, Damn.

Speaker 5 (01:19:19):
She look good.

Speaker 10 (01:19:19):
He's also in the public eye, so.

Speaker 5 (01:19:22):
He's also does this thing too.

Speaker 10 (01:19:23):
Yeah, so I try to I mean, not that I
need to keep up with.

Speaker 4 (01:19:27):
Him, but I think you block him, it comes off
red flaggy to her of why are you blocking him
so soon?

Speaker 5 (01:19:34):
And what did he really say?

Speaker 4 (01:19:35):
Because if he just said on a picture, damn you
look good, is he really saying something that is out
of line?

Speaker 5 (01:19:41):
Probably, well, we know.

Speaker 4 (01:19:43):
That, we know that, but he could play it off
to her like no, and she'd probably believe him, Jamie, what's.

Speaker 40 (01:19:49):
Up, Hey, what's up?

Speaker 5 (01:19:52):
What's going on?

Speaker 22 (01:19:53):
Not much?

Speaker 14 (01:19:54):
And listen, you gotta be a girl's girl.

Speaker 24 (01:19:56):
You have to say something to her, and like even
if you.

Speaker 57 (01:20:00):
Just make it like a joke, be like, yeah, I've
seen so and so coming down my picture the other day,
and I didn't know how to respond because the thing
is is relationships and friendships are built on trust, and
going into this friendship without that, I feel like it's
going to hinder you later. If you guys are hanging
out and he makes a pass at you in person,
that's gonna be even worse.

Speaker 5 (01:20:18):
Yeah, be a girl, girl's girl. Yeah you hate that, keV.
Why do you hate that?

Speaker 9 (01:20:26):
And I know I'm gonna get attacked for this and
I don't care, and uh, I need to have a
well thought out description of why I don't like girl code.
But my initial reaction is that a lot of times
women only have a girl code because she's another woman,
and it could be so many layers of it, but
it's like, at the time, you don't even know this
person just because she's a girl.

Speaker 4 (01:20:46):
You're like, I'm on the side.

Speaker 9 (01:20:47):
There's a coat.

Speaker 5 (01:20:48):
Yeah, It's like that's just weak to me.

Speaker 4 (01:20:50):
So you don't think that girls being girl having girl
code is like bros before hose for the guys.

Speaker 9 (01:20:56):
I'm not doing that for no rando bro, just because
it's gonna be dependent on situation, because it's there's some
people out here who don't deserve grace. Not to say that,
but it's some people out here who haven't earned the
right they don't live by.

Speaker 5 (01:21:08):
Just because she's a girl doesn't mean I should like her.

Speaker 8 (01:21:10):
Honestly, so far, I think the best choice is what
the caller said about just asking him, Hey, aren't you.

Speaker 5 (01:21:19):
Although Sean's got a piece of advice, what do you think?

Speaker 20 (01:21:22):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (01:21:23):
First of all, I don't think she should say anything
because usually the women is going to sad with her
man and he can twist the story.

Speaker 5 (01:21:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 23 (01:21:31):
And also when somebody says something on somebody's story, it
automatically goes into the dam right, So what if he's
not technically in your damn that's true?

Speaker 22 (01:21:43):
What if he's just responding to your story?

Speaker 4 (01:21:45):
Sean brings up automatically go to thecality of yeah, when
you if you put post something and I like it
or heard it, or if I write a comment like
damn you look great. His damn you look great is
like damn you look great, not damn you look great?

Speaker 5 (01:22:01):
And I wanna what.

Speaker 44 (01:22:05):
Not do that?

Speaker 28 (01:22:07):
Only commenting on pictures or selfies of me? Like I
post a million stories and things and you're only sliding
up or liking things where I'm dressed up or I'm
doing something cute or posting a selfie.

Speaker 4 (01:22:21):
Maybe he's just not a big architecture gud. I don't know,
but honestly, I think Shannon's right, and I think that
that listener is right. I think that even just like, hey, hey,
if he does it again, just go, you know, I'm
friends with your girl. I hope you're very great.

Speaker 17 (01:22:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:22:39):
Period, And honestly, just move on like that. And once
he knows that's the case, then the next time that
you do go and get to hang out with her,
he's going to feel very awkward. Watch out.

Speaker 10 (01:22:51):
All right, thanks for the advice.

Speaker 4 (01:22:53):
I don't know if we really gave you any advice.
We kind of left it up in the air. But
we'll see what's in that message.

Speaker 10 (01:22:57):
Got it next time he's.

Speaker 9 (01:22:58):
In the too late?

Speaker 5 (01:22:59):
Now, how long ago did he put that in your DMS?

Speaker 10 (01:23:02):
Like a week ago?

Speaker 4 (01:23:03):
Yeah, you don't do it now Now you look like
you're acting weird and stuff. You gotta wait till he
doesn't the next time. A friendly note to the competition.

Speaker 2 (01:23:12):
You all can kiss our asses.

Speaker 9 (01:23:14):
I feel better.

Speaker 2 (01:23:14):
This is Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:23:16):
I got a quick little thing I wanted to bring up.
And I'm only bringing this up because we're short on time,
but I want to like get into a topic fast.
I want to ask you, how did you almost like
destroy your house just trying to kill a bug? Or
how did you hurt yourself killing a bug. Here's the
reason why in the phone numbers eight four for Joe Live. Yes,
we have wasps all over the house. And I have

(01:23:38):
no idea why the wasps come out at this time
of the year. Okay, they're they fly around, Their little
things are dangling. There are those feet that are dangling
on that and they, honestly, I think they hurt. They
hurt more when they bite you than a b bite you.
Wasp are horrible. So I saw a wasp and I
was on the phone with Many, who is a very

(01:23:59):
good radio friend that does a radio show down in Charlotte,
North Carolina. And I'm on the phone with him and
I'm like, hold on, Mane, and I'm like grabbing things.
Actually I grabbed something kind of like this, like a
pad that Chelsea had, and then I grabbed some magazines
and I'm trying to like smack the thing and you know,
kill it. So it was up against the window in
the kitchen, and I'm like, hold on, Mane, I'm gonna

(01:24:21):
get this thing. And I'm I'm not as fast as
I used to be. I don't know if you know this,
like I used to be really fast.

Speaker 2 (01:24:28):
Liter or not.

Speaker 4 (01:24:30):
Some people say that they used to call me quick
Drawmagra in the bedroom. So I see the thing on
there and I go boom, and I smack it, and
I swear to you, I thought I broke my window
and I and I said to Manie, I go, holy crap,
I almost just broke my window trying to kill the wasp.
And I got it.

Speaker 5 (01:24:49):
I got it down there, and it wasn't completely dead,
and I started like banging.

Speaker 4 (01:24:52):
It on the counter.

Speaker 6 (01:24:54):
That's flying around your house.

Speaker 4 (01:24:55):
Yes, So Mayne goes on to tell me that Maney
her the story about a person who tried to kill ants. Okay,
so they had ants and they tried to kill a
whole bunch of ants, and they burned their freaking house down.

Speaker 10 (01:25:11):
They had to be spraying something flammable.

Speaker 5 (01:25:14):
They literally tried to torch the ants. They tried to
kill the ants.

Speaker 4 (01:25:18):
So they had a big old thing that was like
an ant farm or something like that that was there,
and they tried to kill them and totally kill them,
and they burned their freaking house down. So I said
to Mania, I go, I go, uh MANI I think
we got a radio topic, Like we're always looking for
radio topics. We got a radiotop Is that dust track?

Speaker 9 (01:25:35):
I'm looking like, what is it snowing in the studio
right now?

Speaker 4 (01:25:38):
That's what I was freaking. I think I moved it
so almost broke my toe.

Speaker 9 (01:25:42):
So Gerard's house, you know, Geradi Christina my favorite becausin
of all the time I go over to your house, Christina,
it must be a wasp thing because they had wasp too.
I think there was like a nest or something that
they found. So she has a huge living room. The
wasp are like living on a wall that's also above
a window, and it's a very high ceiling. So you know,
I'm not tallest guy in the world, so I couldn't

(01:26:04):
just kill it standing on my own too. Yeah, So
they got this huge like lounge chair. So I pushed
the lounge chair up to the window. I stand on
top of the lounge chair. I'm still not tall enough,
So now I have to stand on the arm rest
with one leg and put my other foot on the
back of it, so I'm at the highest height.

Speaker 4 (01:26:22):
That thing tilted and pin.

Speaker 9 (01:26:24):
My toes up. I'm like, I'm like, oh, but you
killed it. I didn't kill it though, So.

Speaker 10 (01:26:36):
Mine wasn't in a house. Mine was in my car.
There was a spider in my car, and it could
have been way worse.

Speaker 28 (01:26:42):
I ended up driving into a ditch because I just
went a little off roading with it when I was trying.

Speaker 10 (01:26:47):
To get it really fast.

Speaker 5 (01:26:49):
It has to happen a lot.

Speaker 10 (01:26:50):
Yeah, bugs in the car, bees or something.

Speaker 4 (01:26:52):
Bugs in the car have got a cost for people
to get in near misses or accidents. What's up by
you doing, Tiffany?

Speaker 18 (01:26:58):
Hey? How you guys doing good morning?

Speaker 4 (01:27:01):
What's going on?

Speaker 5 (01:27:02):
How did you hurt yourself or how did you ruin
something trying to kill a bug?

Speaker 18 (01:27:06):
But I ruined myself is what I did. When I
was younger, I was been down saving in the shower
and it was just a stand up shower, you know,
not bathsub And when I looked on the wall, there
was a spider right in front of me, and I
dove through the glass door get my hat on the
side of the counter of the bathroom, hit my head
wide open, and my older brother in boumpy butt naked,

(01:27:32):
bleeding all over the place, and I still have a.

Speaker 14 (01:27:34):
Big scar in the middle of my.

Speaker 4 (01:27:37):
Tiffany. That's crazy, that's great. What was worse the fact
that you were bleeding to death on the floor or
that your brother saw.

Speaker 18 (01:27:47):
I was thinking about my brother at the moment.

Speaker 17 (01:27:49):
I was dying.

Speaker 9 (01:27:49):
You were dying.

Speaker 10 (01:27:50):
I'm dying. I'm dying.

Speaker 14 (01:27:52):
This is the way, still running around and I was like,
get it, get it, find it.

Speaker 9 (01:27:56):
Find Yeah, the worst you guys have, Thank you.

Speaker 4 (01:28:01):
What are worse?

Speaker 5 (01:28:01):
Spiders? Ants or bees? Wasps? Spiders, spiders, bees wasps?

Speaker 4 (01:28:09):
Here flip your flip hand and is trying to let
people are in studio, guests hear her, and every time
you turn your head towards towards the window, it causes feedback.

Speaker 5 (01:28:21):
It was very sweetie.

Speaker 4 (01:28:22):
It was like it was like a hold on. I'm like,
where's the feedback coming from? Thinking myself, this is crazy
trying to be a good person. You are such a
good person.

Speaker 9 (01:28:30):
You are bees, wasps, bees wasps, spiders. I feel like
they're not as fast as bees and wasps.

Speaker 6 (01:28:38):
You know what we have a ton of right now.
Those stink bugs, they are all worse.

Speaker 5 (01:28:42):
Those are horrible And if you kill them, your debt
you're in.

Speaker 6 (01:28:45):
I see I do.

Speaker 8 (01:28:46):
I squish them and then I flushed down the toilet
and they don't smell, but they're just annoying.

Speaker 6 (01:28:50):
They're everywhere right now.

Speaker 5 (01:28:52):
I think ans are the worst. You're gonna disagree with
me on this.

Speaker 4 (01:28:55):
Ants are everywhere, Like, once you get a couple of ants,
you got a pajillion ants.

Speaker 5 (01:29:00):
What's up, Katie? How you doing good?

Speaker 9 (01:29:02):
How are you good?

Speaker 4 (01:29:03):
What's happening?

Speaker 5 (01:29:04):
We're talking about nearly killing yourself trying to kill a bug.

Speaker 21 (01:29:08):
Yeah, so my house is infested with the stink bugs
right now.

Speaker 27 (01:29:12):
So I.

Speaker 11 (01:29:16):
I bought bugs stop and I was spraying it all
over the house and every single person in the house
was coughing.

Speaker 12 (01:29:23):
I thought I poisoned them.

Speaker 4 (01:29:27):
Because of the bug spray that you were spraying or
the smell from the stink Bugsbody.

Speaker 9 (01:29:31):
Had to go.

Speaker 21 (01:29:32):
Everybody had to go outside because they had they had
breathed it in, And I was like, I.

Speaker 20 (01:29:36):
Just killed my whole family.

Speaker 4 (01:29:37):
Tell you, the funny thing is that it probably didn't
even kill the stink bugs, and now the stink bugs
basically have just eliminated you in your entire family. Yeah,
can I tell you that. The funny thing when you
do this, when you spray any of this stuff, there
are some people that try to use the organic, you know,
they're like organic deodorant, organic.

Speaker 9 (01:29:58):
My mother loss you.

Speaker 11 (01:29:59):
Makes all this stuff, and I'm like, it doesn't work.

Speaker 4 (01:30:02):
It's basically it's basically like water that you're spraying on
top of the thing, and it doesn't kill them at all.
And honestly, what you're doing is you're saving the world,
but you're now killing yourself because it's driving you nuts
that you got that damn thing there. I had a
friend of mine that came to my house and saw
that we had those little ant hotels like things, and

(01:30:25):
they were so offended, and it was funny. They're all,
they're offended. You understand what that's doing to the environment
by putting that thing down, And I said, yeah, I
don't care. It's it's like okay, and they're like, you're
I don't understand it. Can't you deal with a little ants?

Speaker 5 (01:30:41):
Can't you Just like no, I can't.

Speaker 9 (01:30:43):
Yeah, I don't want them all were kids, and y'all
used to like knock over at homes when I used
to build up on the sidewalk, used to kick them over.

Speaker 5 (01:30:50):
You're the same guy that, by the way, is a
mass murderer.

Speaker 9 (01:30:52):
I'm the only one.

Speaker 4 (01:30:54):
Did you light them on fire with a magnifying guys
start feeling bad, I'm like, because they work a lot.
Did you ever did you ever cut the head off
of birds? What's Eric? How you doing? Eric?

Speaker 9 (01:31:10):
How you doing?

Speaker 32 (01:31:11):
I was canvas and FuG the city the water department
and knocked on his door. In the wasp, big wasp,
not the little ones, but the big.

Speaker 40 (01:31:21):
Wasp came out.

Speaker 9 (01:31:22):
I tried to swat.

Speaker 22 (01:31:23):
He stung me in the lip. The other one came
out stung me in the top whip.

Speaker 6 (01:31:28):
Oh, I want that. I want to look like that.

Speaker 9 (01:31:33):
Lays a lot of money, don't I don't, but I want.

Speaker 34 (01:31:37):
I'm fighting the wasp.

Speaker 32 (01:31:38):
The lady down the street seized me because I spoke
to her as I was canvasing.

Speaker 12 (01:31:42):
She sees me.

Speaker 34 (01:31:43):
She thinks I'm crazy because I'm cussing the stream at
this wasp.

Speaker 32 (01:31:46):
When I walked by her, I look like Mike Tyson punched.

Speaker 22 (01:31:50):
Me in the face.

Speaker 4 (01:31:53):
That's wild. Uh Man was a horrible I hate them.
Thanks for the call, buddy, Eric, appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (01:31:59):
My goal lose more weight so my belly doesn't jiggle
when I brushed my teeth. See reasonable resolutions. Happy New Year.
This is Mojo in the morning. Welcome back to Shannon.
Came back with a tan from Florida.

Speaker 17 (01:32:11):
How are you?

Speaker 6 (01:32:12):
I'm good, little Chili.

Speaker 8 (01:32:14):
I know, isn't it city and sunny and at a
cloud in the sky compared to as soon as.

Speaker 6 (01:32:19):
You land You're like, why do we live?

Speaker 8 (01:32:21):
I mean, I love where we live, but you come
back from a beautiful, warm place and it's a little depressing.

Speaker 4 (01:32:28):
You went with a bunch of girls, but something interesting
about one particular person without Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:32:33):
On the trip.

Speaker 8 (01:32:33):
I went with four of my closest girlfriends, women who
I know through our kids, all being friends with each other,
and we went down to Marco Island, Florida, where one
of my girlfriends her family has a condo.

Speaker 6 (01:32:46):
So we were lucky.

Speaker 8 (01:32:47):
We didn't have to pay for a hotel or anything,
or an airbnb. It was really nice and so I
shared a room with my girlfriend Ashley, who actually she
was the purpose of the trip.

Speaker 6 (01:32:58):
Because she beat breast cancer this year, so.

Speaker 8 (01:33:01):
Eighteen chemo treatments and am astectomy, and yeah, she she
deserved to be celebrated. So her and I room together
and we, you know, snuggled in a bed. In the
first night we were there, were getting ready for bed
and washing my face, brushing my teeth, and she's getting
into bed and she I'm noticing she's pulling something out
of her suitcase, and I'm thinking, what the heck is
she doing? She pulls out dump truck pillowcases and proceeds

(01:33:26):
to put them on the pillows on her side of
the bed, And I said, what are you doing? And
she said, there's a certain kind of fabric pillowcase that
she likes, and that's what she buys at home. The
only extras she had were ones from her boys, so
she grabbed them through them in her suitcase and she

(01:33:47):
puts them on pillows wherever she goes, really hotel, Airbnb,
friends place.

Speaker 5 (01:33:54):
Brings your own pillow case.

Speaker 4 (01:33:56):
She brings her own.

Speaker 6 (01:33:57):
Pillowcases to put on the pillows.

Speaker 5 (01:33:59):
Are there any people are the people that bring their
own I.

Speaker 28 (01:34:03):
Know people who do that, he tells, because they think
that the hotel stuff is dirty, But she just likes
the fabric.

Speaker 6 (01:34:10):
She likes, which I get.

Speaker 8 (01:34:11):
By the way, I totally understand where she's coming from.
I've just never packed my own pillowcases before.

Speaker 4 (01:34:16):
That seemed like a cute story at first, when I
was thinking to myself that she was going to miss
her kids.

Speaker 6 (01:34:21):
No, it had nothing to do with the kids, because then.

Speaker 5 (01:34:23):
I'm thinking to myself, you're on a away from kids trip.

Speaker 6 (01:34:27):
Oh no, I don't even think she thought about her kids. Yeah,
well for three days.

Speaker 44 (01:34:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:34:31):
No, you don't want to be thinking about your kids
except for the dumb tuck truck pillowcase when you're laying
your head on the pillow after a bunch of espresso
Martini's so all right. So this is Anna brings up
a point about people that I get worried about bed
bugs and things like that. To me, I'm always so
funny with going to bed and I don't. I think

(01:34:52):
everything's clean and I'll just deal with it later if
it's not. We have friend like Tim Richards. I think
you guys have met Tim in and he strips everything off, yeah,
and he puts it all in the corner and then
he gets all and then he brings his bags in
and once he strips everything off, and I'm like, Tim,
if those bad.

Speaker 5 (01:35:09):
Bugs are there, they're hopping, they're in the hallway, they're everywhere.

Speaker 4 (01:35:14):
Check in.

Speaker 8 (01:35:15):
They say at hotels you're supposed to do that. You're
supposed to take off the comforter and the throw pillows
and just push them off to the side because they
don't clean those after every guess Wow, well I guess
the sheets, yeah, but the comforters no.

Speaker 10 (01:35:28):
Well then they has a blanket.

Speaker 4 (01:35:31):
The blanket shiver so yeah, I think because no, because
it's the big one, right, it's the big, heavy one
that's on top.

Speaker 7 (01:35:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:35:37):
Which, by the way, they did a thing on ABC
one time where they had a guy with a black
light and you see sperm. It's sperm or big bugs,
probably sperm. I could clean myself from sperm. I think
you have the fuma gate from bed bugs.

Speaker 44 (01:35:55):
Sperm.

Speaker 6 (01:35:55):
I can.

Speaker 8 (01:35:56):
At least it's like out of I don't have to
think about it, out of side, out of mind.

Speaker 6 (01:35:59):
Bed bugs. They are following you home.

Speaker 5 (01:36:01):
I've slept in sperm before and I'm fine by that.

Speaker 8 (01:36:04):
I've also stayed at a very nice hotel and remember
got bedbug bites.

Speaker 6 (01:36:07):
All over one side of my body.

Speaker 5 (01:36:09):
Listen, I've stayed in a very nice hotel.

Speaker 4 (01:36:11):
As I'm leaving the hotel and I'm looking under the
bed to make sure that something of mine, like a
soccer or whatever, didn't fall undernath there there were used
condoms underneath the bed.

Speaker 5 (01:36:19):
I was like, this is a nice hotel. It's like
a four or five star. Kim, what do you do?

Speaker 35 (01:36:25):
Good morning everybody, first time caller, A long time.

Speaker 13 (01:36:32):
I also bring a satin pillowcase.

Speaker 34 (01:36:35):
I'm an African American.

Speaker 12 (01:36:36):
Woman, and what's here?

Speaker 34 (01:36:38):
Yeah, we'd like our set and pillowcase.

Speaker 35 (01:36:41):
Want to keep the ools in our hair, So I
bring my pillow case everywhere I go off.

Speaker 4 (01:36:46):
Okay, I like that sat is satin like satin like silk.
Does it feel like that we're here? It's so comfortable.
I like the pillowcases and the pillows that are always cool.
They remain cool, you know, right.

Speaker 58 (01:36:59):
Right on every night.

Speaker 7 (01:37:01):
And bring it with me everywhere I go.

Speaker 9 (01:37:03):
As a single man, you got to have a couple
of o's on deck for visitors at your home to
make them feel more comfortable with you.

Speaker 5 (01:37:10):
You have women that come to your house and stay
the night, Kevin.

Speaker 9 (01:37:15):
This is Mooves. I thought he was a good Christian boy.
There Cam you like to play tennis with? You like
to play tennis with your remarks? Sometimes I'm a player.
What's going on, hi, Madison? How you doing?

Speaker 29 (01:37:31):
Hi?

Speaker 16 (01:37:31):
I usually when I go to hotels for vacations, I
bring my silk pillowcases because I have acne prone skins,
so I.

Speaker 20 (01:37:39):
Never use anything at the hotel. I always using my
silk pillowcases.

Speaker 4 (01:37:42):
Okay, all right? Do you pack that in your luggage
like your carry on luggage? And that's I do.

Speaker 20 (01:37:48):
Sometimes I'll just buy one Amazon and honestly just throw
it away after just because you never know what's at
the hotel.

Speaker 52 (01:37:54):
But yeah, I always bring a silk pilow case.

Speaker 20 (01:37:56):
With me everywhere I go.

Speaker 4 (01:37:57):
I wonder if there are people that ever bring their
own bedding, like full on betting to a hotel and
put it on a hotel or an airbnb.

Speaker 20 (01:38:05):
That's a little much for me.

Speaker 16 (01:38:07):
But.

Speaker 8 (01:38:09):
And then you'd have to bring it, so then you
have to pack the dirty stuff in your suitcase and
bring it.

Speaker 4 (01:38:14):
Yeah, I think so, right, Or in her case, she
said that she buys on Amazon, so she might just
leave it there.

Speaker 5 (01:38:19):
Right at medicine.

Speaker 20 (01:38:20):
Yeah, sometimes I just got like I just throw it away.
They are like twelve dollars on Amazon. It's really cheap.

Speaker 4 (01:38:25):
Chelsea got a bad back, so there's like rarely a
good bed that she can sleep on. And we've stayed
at a hotel a couple of times in Chicago where
the bed was so good. She made me go to
the front desk and ask them, oh, what kind of
because she wanted that bed. She was like, this bed
was so amazing. And we were there for like a
couple of nights when we were visiting Jake, and it

(01:38:46):
was like this bed would gave her the best sleep.
It was awesome. And I believe that it's not the bed.
I believe it's your mindset of all right, I'm here,
I'm relaxing, I'm having fun.

Speaker 6 (01:38:56):
You know what I mean, Like, I don't know, it's clean,
there's nothing for me to pick up.

Speaker 4 (01:39:00):
Although I have stayed in hotels where the beds were atrocious.
Same they were like the absolute worst.

Speaker 9 (01:39:06):
Have you ever been on.

Speaker 4 (01:39:07):
Vacation hotel Airbnb?

Speaker 9 (01:39:09):
More so hotel where somebody has brought like one of
those polls to put under the door for like extra security.

Speaker 5 (01:39:16):
No, I you know what I think misfit Victor told me.

Speaker 4 (01:39:20):
He Victor puts like some kind of an alarm system
and the door, so if somebody walks in and alarm
goes off. Have you ever seen those things that you
put by the door and if it moves. Yeah, but
there are people that get freaked out by that. You
should because people walk into your hotel room.

Speaker 8 (01:39:34):
Look what happened to Lydia Bianca and I in Chicago
a couple of weekends ago.

Speaker 6 (01:39:37):
The guy came in and brought us a microwave in
the middle of the night.

Speaker 4 (01:39:40):
Yeah, he had a key card though. He was thinking,
you guys were freaky. What what three girls share a
room together and ask for a microwave?

Speaker 9 (01:39:48):
What are they wondering?

Speaker 5 (01:39:48):
What's going on in that room? What's going on? Megan?

Speaker 58 (01:39:51):
How you doing good?

Speaker 4 (01:39:54):
My questions answered? Your friend explained what she does.

Speaker 47 (01:39:59):
So no matter where she goes hotel friend's house, she
brings like four pilows of her own, a blanket, everything, Oh.

Speaker 4 (01:40:06):
My gosh, like the whole thing, like the un Yeah,
does she throw those in a check bag because I
would guess that that's probably all going to be in there.

Speaker 31 (01:40:19):
Yeah, And then like she has like a big Duffel
bag that she brings.

Speaker 4 (01:40:22):
Like if she comes to your house for the Oh
my gosh, that's wild. She's paying a lot of money.
Although the guy that's lifting that bag to put it
up on the plane is probably like, this thing is light?
What's going on? Nikki there?

Speaker 20 (01:40:35):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:40:36):
Here, good morning, y'all.

Speaker 4 (01:40:37):
Nik Nikki says, don't forget her comforter and what else?
A fan.

Speaker 9 (01:40:42):
I always bring my own comforter and a fan.

Speaker 10 (01:40:45):
I cannot sleep without a fan.

Speaker 40 (01:40:46):
This woman gets hot at night.

Speaker 17 (01:40:48):
I like it.

Speaker 4 (01:40:49):
Chelsea brings a sound machine with her sometimes. I did
that for a while too, Yeah, and then I was like,
can't we just put our phone ring that?

Speaker 15 (01:40:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 26 (01:40:57):
But that that makes sense too.

Speaker 22 (01:40:59):
Though.

Speaker 26 (01:40:59):
You know you have strange noises that you.

Speaker 16 (01:41:01):
Don't have at home?

Speaker 4 (01:41:03):
Yeah, yeah, disrupt your sleep? What kind of sounds is
she sleeping to? Chelsea has like just like white nois ish,
like like somebody we have it in our bedroom. And
when Chelse is not the first one in bed, I
can't fall asleep, and I realize what.

Speaker 23 (01:41:17):
It is is.

Speaker 6 (01:41:17):
I can't thunderstorms on automatically at eleven.

Speaker 4 (01:41:22):
I'd pee my bed. I was a bed weather that
would Yeah, all of a sudden, i'd hear it. I go,
oh boy, it's Harry Coms A little Tommy's coming back again.
A yeah, it could be.

Speaker 5 (01:41:33):
Maybe. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:41:34):
What's up, Kaylee? How you doing good?

Speaker 31 (01:41:37):
How are you guys?

Speaker 4 (01:41:38):
Good morning, morning, Kayley? What's up?

Speaker 20 (01:41:41):
I would sleep.

Speaker 16 (01:41:42):
I would travel for work and we'd stay in hotels
and this guy, I didn't stay in the same room
as him, but another coworker told me he'd strip the
bed and then just warm up in a sleeping bag.

Speaker 4 (01:41:54):
Oh my gosh, sleep, you might as well that point,
you might as well have a crazy Oh my gosh,
that's like really freaky.

Speaker 12 (01:42:03):
So well, apparently he got bad bugs once, so he.

Speaker 5 (01:42:05):
Thought that that would up and never again hear that.

Speaker 9 (01:42:09):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (01:42:09):
Well, we love we love you. You take care of
yourself this year which resolved to make better bad decisions.

Speaker 2 (01:42:14):
Happy New Year. This is Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (01:42:17):
All right, Mojo in the Morning Show Channel ninety five
five one oh four point five sn X ninety two
point five Kiss FM. Bianca would like a time for
a topic, but will not tell me what the topic is.
She just says that she would like to call me
out on something.

Speaker 26 (01:42:31):
Yes, okay, I can't trust Mojo. He's sneaky.

Speaker 6 (01:42:36):
He's sneaky.

Speaker 4 (01:42:37):
I'm a sneaky leaky yeah.

Speaker 59 (01:42:38):
But I can't trust him with anything. And I just
want to put it out there if there's anything. Mojo
told me and said, don't tell anyone. My mouth to
be shut. But the same doesn't go for you.

Speaker 5 (01:42:47):
I don't know what are you talking about.

Speaker 59 (01:42:49):
So yesterday I was telling Mojo about this kid I
kind of liked. I thought he was cute, and I.

Speaker 26 (01:42:54):
Was talking to him. Two seconds later, Mojo's on the
phone with his dad.

Speaker 10 (01:43:00):
I just told him.

Speaker 4 (01:43:02):
No, no, no, yes, it was.

Speaker 5 (01:43:03):
It wasn't two seconds, it was like maybe, No, it
was probably seven minutes. I don't know.

Speaker 10 (01:43:09):
I was here. I think they started dialing as soon.

Speaker 6 (01:43:11):
As he wait. So it's obviously somebody he knows.

Speaker 24 (01:43:14):
Harry.

Speaker 5 (01:43:16):
His dad is a very good friend of mine.

Speaker 59 (01:43:17):
Yes, but I wasn't even done with the conversation yet,
and all of a sudden, he's like, what up, man,
you wouldn't believe what just happened.

Speaker 6 (01:43:23):
Said see that as helpful.

Speaker 59 (01:43:25):
No, I don't know, because the dad obviously does not
want me dating his son. Well, the son is like, really,
I would say, like pretty conserved, like pretty calm, chill,
and if you see he's like, I saw you out
getting free food on the streets in Detroit.

Speaker 5 (01:43:41):
Beca's got the Slim effect happening to her.

Speaker 4 (01:43:43):
What I mean by this is she on the air
plays the character that goes out and does goofy stuff
like Slim used to do on the show. Remember, do
you guys the listeners.

Speaker 6 (01:43:53):
Remember Slim so much?

Speaker 4 (01:43:54):
I love him Slim. Slim was a member of the
show for a long time, and he was the and
he he would do goofy stuff all the time, and
it hurt his dating life because every girl thought he
was just a player and all this stuff, and yet
he was probably really wasn't one of the most faithful,

(01:44:14):
greatest guys in the world. Yeah, Beyonca's you know, got
this guy that she likes called Dad, and the dad goes, hey, Beyonca,
I saw you begging for free food, speaking like how
good does that look?

Speaker 17 (01:44:25):
You know?

Speaker 59 (01:44:26):
But he also said he was like, you got a
couple of years of my son, which his son is
only nineteen and I'm twenty two.

Speaker 26 (01:44:32):
This is the first This is the only guy I
would ever date younger.

Speaker 4 (01:44:34):
Okay, so this is okay, here's a this is a
very interesting question. Is Beyonca too old? I don't think
you'll ever hear this ever, she's twenty two years old,
college graduate. This guy's nineteen. He's in college. And honestly,
here's this is the guy and I'm gonna say this
right now. He is going to do something big. He's

(01:44:54):
one of those he's very you know who this is,
by the way, and I will tell you in one
second this kid will probably be I think he's gonna
end up being an agent, Like he's gonna be.

Speaker 5 (01:45:03):
Like a sports a sports agent or something like that.

Speaker 4 (01:45:06):
His dad is Mason, who works for the ballot was
it what do they call it, FanDuel whatever the thing is.
You know, Mason from the does all the games. Absolutely,
this is Mason's son, who is a great looking guy,
comes from a great family.

Speaker 9 (01:45:25):
Thank god.

Speaker 4 (01:45:26):
He looks like his mom. You know who's probably listening
right now. Yeah, mom and dad are good friends to
my family. Actually you could be. You know, it's funny
about this. If Bianca married him, she would be related
to Steve Gibbara.

Speaker 17 (01:45:46):
Related.

Speaker 8 (01:45:49):
The only thing I will say because I feel like
it fast forward a couple of years.

Speaker 6 (01:45:52):
It is not going to matter. But you guys can't
even go out right now.

Speaker 26 (01:45:55):
I know he's not even twenty one.

Speaker 6 (01:45:56):
He's not twenty one, and you love going out, I know, So.

Speaker 59 (01:45:59):
That's that's I think would be a big issue. Also,
I don't I don't know. I feel like he's a
little too chill for me. But I feel like I
need someone like that.

Speaker 6 (01:46:08):
I think you do out there.

Speaker 4 (01:46:09):
I mean think about you know, opposites attract, I really do.
I think that you need to have somebody that slows
you down, slows your pace down a little bit.

Speaker 26 (01:46:18):
Yeah, but based on how you can pick.

Speaker 5 (01:46:19):
His pace up a little he's like, oh she's a
nice girl.

Speaker 1 (01:46:24):
It was not.

Speaker 59 (01:46:27):
Good interested So maybe I'm like I should have just
kept my mouth shut with to Mojo and none of
this would have happened.

Speaker 4 (01:46:33):
And I also, honestly and I love my Keldan's out there,
but don't you guys arrange marriage?

Speaker 5 (01:46:38):
I mean you to church.

Speaker 4 (01:46:41):
I know I thought there was like this this was
I was playing your dad, your radio dad, and I
was trying to arrange marriage.

Speaker 59 (01:46:47):
He did this before the Mojo did this before to me,
and it got me in big trouble with Lydia. I
mean Lydia got into a big argument because I was
telling you something about Lydia's ex boyfriend and you're like, oh,
no way, And then I was like, no one's supposed
to know that. Don't say anything.

Speaker 5 (01:47:03):
Ext from um.

Speaker 26 (01:47:04):
This man's talking about it on there, and I mean
that he gone to a big argument about it.

Speaker 4 (01:47:08):
I'm blaming you for that one, all right.

Speaker 5 (01:47:09):
I have listened that Moult.

Speaker 59 (01:47:11):
Yeah, Mojo kept his mouth shot. There would have been
no argument.

Speaker 4 (01:47:14):
I want to ask this question, if I want to
get it off me and I want to get it on.
Can a twenty two year old girl date a nineteen
year old guy or if it was vice versa, would
that work?

Speaker 5 (01:47:24):
Or is it weird?

Speaker 4 (01:47:25):
What's up? Jam High? What's going on? But you what
are your thoughts?

Speaker 18 (01:47:32):
Well?

Speaker 27 (01:47:33):
From experience, I wouldn't a younger rule.

Speaker 22 (01:47:36):
I mean, just gonna strom drinking. It's going to be
weird here I'm going out in the bars.

Speaker 27 (01:47:42):
He can't you know a question?

Speaker 26 (01:47:47):
If you had a fake idea, I think it'd work
out perfectly fine.

Speaker 4 (01:47:49):
I've heard all the time though about people that date,
you know, they're twenty one and they're dating somebody that's
you know, a freshman in he or college or whatever,
you know, not a nice high school.

Speaker 56 (01:48:00):
That be wrong.

Speaker 6 (01:48:02):
Yeah, I'm trying to.

Speaker 59 (01:48:02):
Think honestly, maybe if I had a boyfriend, I wouldn't
want to go out that much anymore.

Speaker 4 (01:48:06):
This might be good for her, jam, It could be
a good thing. I think this actually would settle her
down a little bit. What's up, Amanda High?

Speaker 9 (01:48:13):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 20 (01:48:16):
I think that Bianca should go for it. I think
him being younger and not being able to go out
will create a nice balance for Bierca, so like she'll
have time to like chill out with him and then
you know, go out a little less than now.

Speaker 26 (01:48:31):
That's what I think too.

Speaker 59 (01:48:31):
I think it would be a good little balance because
right now on my weekends are like, all.

Speaker 26 (01:48:35):
Right, what bar are we hitting up today?

Speaker 7 (01:48:36):
Y'all?

Speaker 59 (01:48:37):
If I had a boyfriend and like let's make a
gingerbread house or something.

Speaker 8 (01:48:43):
Bonfires, would you miss going out because that's something that
you enjoy.

Speaker 6 (01:48:49):
I guess you could still do it with your.

Speaker 59 (01:48:50):
Friends boyfriend though, like what, I never went out but
also really I was younger, but like I never had
the thought of wanting to do that.

Speaker 5 (01:48:56):
Okay, I don't know, Aaron, what's up? It's Mojo in
the morning. Hey Aaron?

Speaker 4 (01:49:03):
Hello Aaron? Oh hold on, Aaron, know you were there,
but it wasn't picking up. Go ahead, say again, what
do you want to say?

Speaker 9 (01:49:10):
Good morning?

Speaker 33 (01:49:11):
Everybody in Anna.

Speaker 39 (01:49:12):
You can win today and kagib you could be his tutor?

Speaker 2 (01:49:15):
Oh teach him?

Speaker 26 (01:49:17):
What what am I going to teach him?

Speaker 9 (01:49:19):
Cause you're a graduate and he's in college.

Speaker 26 (01:49:21):
Nah, he's smart. This goes to Michigan. I went to
Michigan State.

Speaker 16 (01:49:26):
Blue.

Speaker 4 (01:49:27):
Uh well, Aaron, I think that she might be right
on that he's very smart.

Speaker 26 (01:49:34):
Teach me something?

Speaker 22 (01:49:34):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:49:35):
Uh Amber, what's up?

Speaker 9 (01:49:37):
Amber?

Speaker 54 (01:49:38):
You say?

Speaker 49 (01:49:38):
Hell?

Speaker 38 (01:49:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 23 (01:49:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 47 (01:49:42):
I mean, what's better than dating someone who can't drink?

Speaker 21 (01:49:45):
That's a built in d D.

Speaker 26 (01:49:48):
That's so smart.

Speaker 5 (01:49:50):
But if you're in college, aren't you somebody that has
a fake ID? By now?

Speaker 26 (01:49:54):
Well, he goes to Michigan. Michigan Kans don't really do that.

Speaker 5 (01:49:56):
They don't do fake id's like they do an East
Lansing No.

Speaker 59 (01:49:59):
Why Like my friends didn't have on until their senior
year before they turned twenty one?

Speaker 9 (01:50:03):
Is it the bars harder?

Speaker 26 (01:50:04):
And that, and they just study, Like, no, that's no
Michigan kids just study.

Speaker 4 (01:50:09):
You're telling me that Dave Portnoy went to Michigan. You're
telling me Dave Portnoy studied all his four years.

Speaker 26 (01:50:15):
There were exception, But I'm telling you everybody else.

Speaker 5 (01:50:19):
I don't believe that.

Speaker 22 (01:50:20):
I know.

Speaker 4 (01:50:21):
I know a bunch of buddies whose kids went to Michigan,
and I guarantee you those.

Speaker 26 (01:50:25):
Kids were Maybe I just hung out with the wrong
crowd then, but they're.

Speaker 5 (01:50:28):
Doing better drugs than you guys are.

Speaker 4 (01:50:33):
The funny thing is when Bianca brought this up, she
never said don't tell anybody. And so for her to
sit there and say this to me, don't tell she
didn't even say that.

Speaker 26 (01:50:41):
With the lydia thing, did give me time to finish
the conversation.

Speaker 4 (01:50:44):
You're already calling the dad, but you got to start
off conversation. Shannon knows this from experience. You started off
with this is not for the error, right, that's the
disclaimer at the beginning. It's usually like the disclaimer that
you say rated R under seventeen. I admitted with an apparents.

Speaker 8 (01:50:57):
I send photos to our group text and say this
is not for posting exactly.

Speaker 6 (01:51:01):
You have to start with that.

Speaker 4 (01:51:03):
Yeah, you can't do it after the fact, like, I'm sorry.
You have a right to remain silent anything you say,
can I will the drama.

Speaker 26 (01:51:10):
He loves the tea. He likes being at everybody's business.

Speaker 4 (01:51:12):
I actually like the idea of this, Like I actually thought, oh,
you know what, this is actually really good for both
of them, because I do I care about you, Bianca.

Speaker 59 (01:51:21):
Yeah, if it worked out, I'm going to praise you
for it, and you can officiate my wedding at the
Catholic Church.

Speaker 26 (01:51:26):
If it doesn't work out, we're never talking about with us.

Speaker 6 (01:51:29):
Remember I'm now and I'm now a minister to options.

Speaker 4 (01:51:33):
You're getting married by a priest. If you're doing it,
you're doing it legit. You're not doing this. We get married,
that would go over really well. I'm consuming the Keldyan
Church is not allowing guys to be what's going on, Jackie.

Speaker 15 (01:51:48):
High, Hi, Hey, So I just wanted to make a
comment about the age gap just from my experience. I
dated someone who was a few years older than me
like that, and he was going through his party state
and I wasn't able to drink in the bar but
then by the time I was twenty one and I
wanted to go through that stage, he was kind of
out of it and it kind of caused issues a

(01:52:09):
little bit. So just be mindful, like if you're going
to go for it, just in a few years, if
this lasts and things like that, just allow yourself and
allow himself to still experience like the party stage and stuff,
just because he.

Speaker 30 (01:52:20):
Is younger than you.

Speaker 6 (01:52:21):
Yes, that is really good advice.

Speaker 15 (01:52:23):
Yeah, yeah, I mean go for it for sure. I mean,
age is just a number for sure, but just be
mindful of that age gap and that difference there.

Speaker 4 (01:52:32):
Well, the only thing I worry about in I don't
worry about the age gap because I mean I see
so many different couples that are have an age gap
of at least four years, right. But what I worry
about with biance is she comes from a very traditional
culture and usually you don't see the woman be older.
It's usually the opposite of that. Yeah.

Speaker 59 (01:52:53):
And also though honestly, the woman don't really go out,
Like my mom kind of gets mad at me and
she's like, you shouldn't be posting that you're out all
the time because Kelly and girls don't do that.

Speaker 4 (01:53:00):
Do you think that maybe, and this is something I
wondered with you and Lydia, do you think maybe you
guys need to clean up your socials a little bit
now that you guys are getting to a point where
you really both want to go and date and get married.

Speaker 10 (01:53:12):
I'm not doing that.

Speaker 44 (01:53:13):
No.

Speaker 26 (01:53:14):
Oh man, if you like me, you like me for me,
and you'll know who I was before if you really
want to know.

Speaker 4 (01:53:20):
Part But when it comes, But when it comes to
a job, like you clean it up for a job,
you don't want them to look at you in a
different light.

Speaker 5 (01:53:28):
Well, you don't want a Keldyan mom looking at.

Speaker 26 (01:53:30):
You like no, I see that.

Speaker 59 (01:53:31):
And that's why sometimes I post things on Instagram that
don't go on facebooks.

Speaker 26 (01:53:34):
I know, although Kelldyan moms are on facebooks. I don't
want them seeing that. But I used to like post
honestly way worse. I feel like like me going like me.
I don't post me partying really anymore. I try not to.
I suppost bikini pictures. I don't do that anymore.

Speaker 8 (01:53:47):
Like it's been like two months since you posted a
whole two months. Sorry, I'm kind of feisty today, guys.
My apologies.

Speaker 26 (01:53:56):
It's been like today and I posted like yesterday.

Speaker 4 (01:53:59):
What did you say?

Speaker 26 (01:54:00):
No, I'm the same way.

Speaker 59 (01:54:01):
I won't post like bikini pictures and I wear more
respectful things on Instagram.

Speaker 26 (01:54:06):
However, I do think who I was in the past
doesn't define who I am now.

Speaker 8 (01:54:10):
You know what I and I agree with you if
when you're looking for a partner, I think it's important
for them to see evolution and who you are.

Speaker 26 (01:54:19):
So one exception was Miami, and that's it.

Speaker 4 (01:54:22):
The funny thing is that we were on the phone
and Mason and I are talking. I'm like, you know,
and Mason goes, yeah, I saw you had church. Like
these these girls, Lydia and Bionca.

Speaker 22 (01:54:34):
They go to to.

Speaker 4 (01:54:36):
Do they say the Rosary. They even go to Bingo
for guy's sake. I mean, you can't get more Catholic
than these girls.

Speaker 2 (01:54:45):
We identify as Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 26 (01:54:48):
Oh Mojo, he's amazing. I love listening to a show every.

Speaker 29 (01:54:51):
Morning in the morning.

Speaker 4 (01:54:53):
And Kevin is the fun parent man. So this is
a converse. I gotta get focused.

Speaker 9 (01:54:59):
This is a converse say that Josiah's mother, Jasmine, and
I have had before and we have one more serious
recently and shout out to Josiah's mom, Jasmine. Since I've
started on Mojo in the Morning Show, I haven't physically
been able to take Josiah to school, and Jasmine has
been the parent that has been the school parent. She's

(01:55:21):
taking him to school most days. I try to get
him from school on most days as often as I can.
I'll be picking him up from school today, but it's
not the same when I still have to bring him
to her and she has to be the one to
make sure he gets a bath or a shower at night,
make sure he has his uniform clothes, make sure he
does his homework, has to wake him up, make sure
he's got his lunch, make sure he's the school on time.

(01:55:42):
And she's now in a position, and has been in
a position for a few years now, where she's not
the fun parent. She's the one that's having the homework
discussions that you got to go to bed right now, discussions,
the one you got to wake up in the morning, discussions,
what's your test you have to study like. She's that parent,
and I get him primarily on the weekends and I'm
the fun parent. We're going to the movies we're going

(01:56:05):
to Dave and Busters, We're going to Zap Zone, like
we're doing all the fun things. And that is like
now our dynamic where kind of Josiah sees her as
this more strict parent and sees me as the fun parent.
And I would personally love to hear from other parents
who are operating in the same way. Who are the
fun I want the fun parents and the yeah yeah
so fun parent right because like I want to know

(01:56:26):
from from their perspective, the people who are Jasmine in
this situation, like how bad does it suck? And what
are some things I can do to alleviate that stress
and give her times where she can be looked at
as the fun parent as well, because I don't want
to just like to grow up and look at her like, man,
you are so mean or you have to do a
homework all the time, Like I don't want that to
be their dynamic. But that's our family dynamic right now.
So we got to do to make it work. Yeah,

(01:56:48):
you guys do a do a great job of making
it work.

Speaker 5 (01:56:51):
Appreciate it. And it's nice too because you guys are
so positive with each other. We are now we we.

Speaker 9 (01:57:00):
Have our docket number, we've been in court, We've had
our issues.

Speaker 4 (01:57:06):
We're in a much better place now. It's funny because
of you, Like I think about this, I think like
picturing Josiah. I figured during the week he's getting like
chicken with vegetables and maybe a potato and at Cavs
House pizza, trying to cut down sweetwater wings. It's pizza,

(01:57:27):
rice and beans.

Speaker 9 (01:57:27):
Whatever's in refrigerator, whatever you need, bro, what bro fudge?

Speaker 4 (01:57:33):
Brownie?

Speaker 44 (01:57:34):
Stress?

Speaker 9 (01:57:34):
Like sometimes that's the food we brought about. Peter butter,
jelly sewers ecstatic. What's up Emily High?

Speaker 47 (01:57:42):
Hey, I don't know if my camp.

Speaker 41 (01:57:45):
I'm a single mom, so I have to play both sides,
like the fun, you know, some side. Sorry. And my
son's a teenager now and in freshman in high school,
and I'm I'm struggling because it's it's just you know,
if you're a guy and you're you've been a teenager,
you know, like the attitude is real. So I'm trying
to find that balance of like are gonna say today

(01:58:06):
or we are we gonna have fun?

Speaker 31 (01:58:08):
Because it changes every hour.

Speaker 5 (01:58:11):
Do you ever just do you ever just vocalize that
with him and say to him, so yeah.

Speaker 41 (01:58:15):
Yeah, yeah, I call him out like you're pouting right now,
and I'll do it all this stuff.

Speaker 14 (01:58:19):
But like I can, I can see what you're doing,
but it's in the moment.

Speaker 4 (01:58:24):
Hey, hey, great job. By the way, mom, you probably
you probably don't give yourself enough credit, but seriously, you're
you're raising a good human.

Speaker 5 (01:58:33):
So great job.

Speaker 4 (01:58:35):
Marvin. What's going on, Marvin?

Speaker 27 (01:58:37):
Hey, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (01:58:39):
Are you the fun fund?

Speaker 49 (01:58:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 29 (01:58:42):
I was thinking about Kevin.

Speaker 22 (01:58:43):
Kevin.

Speaker 9 (01:58:45):
Yeah, I'm the phone parent.

Speaker 22 (01:58:49):
Like I said, you meant to. Yeah, he's in the
car right now too.

Speaker 4 (01:58:54):
What's up?

Speaker 22 (01:58:55):
What he said?

Speaker 27 (01:58:57):
What's up?

Speaker 29 (01:59:01):
But yeah, I'm the fun parent.

Speaker 22 (01:59:03):
Like sometime my wife who like keep being there on
his and she'd be like, he need to go to bed.

Speaker 29 (01:59:08):
I'm like, what it is is she gets he gets
he's a four point oh student. I don't have no
problem with him.

Speaker 4 (01:59:22):
Yeah, yeah, that's that's cool. But you know what I think,
every now and again, you got to let her be
the fun mom, like you gotta. You gotta be the
one discipline and telling them to get off his oculus
and let her be the one that gets to have
fun and play around with him.

Speaker 22 (01:59:38):
Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 4 (01:59:38):
I think I think Kev's thing of saying what he
said about you know, Jazmine, is that she does you
don't want it. Later in life, where Josiah is looking
at his mom going you were really not a lot
of fun.

Speaker 9 (01:59:52):
Well, look, we got Tolan in the car. Do we
have permission to ask him a question?

Speaker 25 (01:59:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (01:59:58):
Okay, So Tolan, you're in this position. Do you view
your mom as the more strict parent? Do you view
your dad as the fun parent?

Speaker 1 (02:00:06):
Uh?

Speaker 16 (02:00:08):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (02:00:09):
And does that How does that affect the way that
you approach them for certain things? Like do you only
go to dad for stuff? Or like you try to
stay away from mom because she's more.

Speaker 13 (02:00:18):
Strict most of the time, but sometimes.

Speaker 5 (02:00:23):
Yeah, if you get in trouble at school, who do
you go to first?

Speaker 1 (02:00:29):
Uh?

Speaker 24 (02:00:32):
Dad?

Speaker 44 (02:00:32):
Really?

Speaker 4 (02:00:33):
The phone? If your phone a friend, If you're in
the principal's office, you're calling dad up before you're calling
mom up.

Speaker 5 (02:00:42):
Probably.

Speaker 4 (02:00:44):
Yeah, have a good day in school, my man, keep up.
Thanks guys, Marvin, thanks buddy, thanks thanks for calling. Uh
Heather is the mom the strict parent?

Speaker 9 (02:00:54):
Right, Heather? I sure?

Speaker 13 (02:00:56):
I am?

Speaker 44 (02:00:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (02:00:58):
What's that like?

Speaker 13 (02:01:00):
First of all, keV, I would like to tell you
that I appreciate the fact that you take that into
consideration because the other parent doesn't always think about those things.
I am a longtime listener. This is my first time
calling it.

Speaker 31 (02:01:25):
I just wanted to talk.

Speaker 13 (02:01:26):
About the struggles actually, you know, the late nights of
doing homework and bedtime struggles and all those things.

Speaker 27 (02:01:33):
Like you know, you have those.

Speaker 13 (02:01:34):
Moments where you're alone and you're doing these things and
you're like, God, it must be nice to be able
to be the Disneyland dad. Or I don't get to
take vacations and I don't get to take them to
Dave and Busters, and I don't, you know, not very
often so, but I get to see that happen on
the other end of things, and you know, that kind

(02:01:56):
of is not fair.

Speaker 7 (02:01:57):
It doesn't feel.

Speaker 20 (02:01:58):
Fair, and.

Speaker 13 (02:02:01):
Its actually frustrating a lot of the time.

Speaker 34 (02:02:03):
Completely honest.

Speaker 4 (02:02:05):
keV asked the question that he wanted to to ask.
I don't know if you want to ask this to Heather,
but what can he do for Jasmine to help her out?
What would you want your guy to do for you.

Speaker 13 (02:02:16):
You know, at the days that you pick him up,
maybe you know, stay with him, do some homework with
him if he has homework or I don't know, maybe
on a weekend, maybe let her keep him for a weekend.
Then let her take him and do things with him.

Speaker 9 (02:02:32):
And if she can, I I would think.

Speaker 13 (02:02:35):
I just feel like, if there's maybe offer her, ask
her what it is that you could take off of
her plate to help her in these situations.

Speaker 4 (02:02:41):
You know, you know, Chelsea and I were co parenting
obviously in the same house together, but I was the
Disney dad and she was the strict parent. And one
of the things that she said to me one time,
similar to this you know conversation that we're having, was
she just wanted me to support her. And when the
kids do have a moment, like support her and say, guys,
you could listen. You listen to you know, I support

(02:03:02):
what your mom is saying right now. And so sometimes
even just showing the support probably heather as good.

Speaker 8 (02:03:07):
That's the biggest thing I've learned from co parenting is
because especially Lucy at eleven, like she's kind of sneaky.
She knows who to work, either myself or her dad.
And as soon as I say, like the phone is
such a huge thing, she wants a phone so bad.
As soon as I say, Dad and I have spoken
about this. We are on the same page. You're not
getting a phone. And then instantly it's like we're both.

(02:03:29):
We're both we're both the bad not fun parent.

Speaker 6 (02:03:32):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 5 (02:03:33):
Yeah, what's what's up? Mikey there?

Speaker 22 (02:03:36):
Hey, what's up? How you guys doing.

Speaker 5 (02:03:38):
We're good, buddy. Are you the Disney dad?

Speaker 59 (02:03:41):
Yeah?

Speaker 39 (02:03:42):
I think you know what, that's kind of a slur
for single dads out here. I'm just gonna throw that
out there.

Speaker 22 (02:03:47):
I just don't want to hear that. It's like, I
have the means.

Speaker 33 (02:03:50):
So my daughter is eight years old.

Speaker 39 (02:03:52):
At her mom's, we share fifty to fifty, so we
go back and forth.

Speaker 22 (02:03:55):
And at her mom saw she has a little sister,
so it's.

Speaker 39 (02:03:59):
A little harder to take to kids to go do
stuff and everything like that. So I get branded with
the Disney term a lot. But it's like, I'm just
trying to take my kid to do fun stuff. We
still do the homework and everything like that.

Speaker 22 (02:04:10):
But I mean, I just have the means to do it.

Speaker 39 (02:04:13):
But I do understand, and we support each other, but
it's just it's tough sometimes for her.

Speaker 5 (02:04:18):
That's interesting.

Speaker 4 (02:04:18):
So she your daughter. Is it a daughter?

Speaker 22 (02:04:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (02:04:24):
Yeah, right now, Grace, Grace so because you only because
you Hey, what's what's going on?

Speaker 5 (02:04:31):
You're hanging with the Disney dad right now. I love it.

Speaker 22 (02:04:34):
I'm just kidding school.

Speaker 39 (02:04:36):
Believe it or not.

Speaker 4 (02:04:38):
We nah, forget school, Let's go to get Busters. But
you definitely that's it. You bring up an interesting point,
especially if mom has another child within, you know, in
the next relationship and stuff like that, maybe not doesn't
have the means to do it, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (02:04:56):
Like, that's uh, that's.

Speaker 4 (02:04:58):
Actually a really really interesting conversation that you just brought up. Hey, Grace,
you love it?

Speaker 9 (02:05:03):
Like who do you love more?

Speaker 4 (02:05:04):
Grace, Mom or Dad?

Speaker 22 (02:05:06):
Grace?

Speaker 9 (02:05:14):
You love good?

Speaker 4 (02:05:14):
Grace, great answer. Yes, it's the holiday time answer. Hey,
thanks you guys for calling up. Thanks for sharing with us. Bye, bye, guys.
I just read a text message and it was somebody
that said, this is why I love listening to your show.
Everybody on your show is so different, and you guys

(02:05:36):
bring up the struggles that we all are bringing up
in our lives right now. Kevin, thank you so much
for bringing this conversation to the air.

Speaker 9 (02:05:44):
It's great appreciate y'all for listening and giving feedback. That's
what makes it's a conversation. We're not talking to you,
we're talking with you all. So I appreciate you for feedback.

Speaker 4 (02:05:53):
And if Josiah's listening, your mom is definitely the smarter parent.
So when I had times.

Speaker 45 (02:06:00):
Go Troits, Grand Rabbit, Heart radio stations, real people.

Speaker 2 (02:06:07):
Real lives, real fun. Mojo in the Morning guaranteed human
not back to the only thing Michigan and Ohio could
agree on Mojo in the Morning.

Speaker 4 (02:06:19):
Bianca, who is our director of social Impact, thanks Kevin,
who is our all round great guy.

Speaker 5 (02:06:27):
She thinks that he gave a BS reason to not
work this weekend.

Speaker 4 (02:06:33):
Kelv was supposed to work, CAV was supposed to work,
and Bionca is calling out keV for the fact that
she thinks that Kevin is full of crap.

Speaker 5 (02:06:43):
With his excuse. What was the excuse that you gave
for my teeth hurt.

Speaker 9 (02:06:47):
No, here's the thing though, listen, and I think that
is the natural reaction for anybody who has never had
their teeth white, Because when you hear I got my
teeth white, my tee hurt, you say, what that's not
like BS there's no way that their teeth can hurt
that bad. For anyone who's ever had their teeth whiter perfect, Okay, yeah,
I'm not talking about strips. I'm talking about you go

(02:07:08):
to the dentists, they put cotton balls all in your mouth.
They bring out some type of light and they told
me that they whiten them from inside, like they whiten you.
I don't know how they get inside the tooth, but
that's where the whitening comes from. It goes inside the tooth.
And then they tell you don't drink anything colorful. They
gave me a mask once I got up to protect
my mouth from the wind because I don't know if

(02:07:30):
like there's a scientific term, but your teeth are extremely sensitive,
so much so that there's no like they they call
them zingers. That's what a couple people were saying. It's
like you get the zeines, you get the zingers or
something like that. There is this pain that comes from
your tooth, hits your gums, and it is almost unbearable,
and it can come at anything. Excuse me, it can

(02:07:50):
come at any moment. It's not necessarily if I'm chewing.
It's not necessarily if I'm talking. It just comes out
of nowhere, and it's like you say it can No,
I'm not.

Speaker 4 (02:08:00):
I'm not. That's what she said.

Speaker 6 (02:08:03):
It is painful.

Speaker 4 (02:08:05):
Okay, so you've had this before.

Speaker 6 (02:08:07):
Well, so I had my teeth professionally whitened. This was
years ago.

Speaker 8 (02:08:10):
I couldn't even get through the treatment at the dentist
because it was already starting, so I had to get
up and leave. I will never ever do it again,
honest to god.

Speaker 26 (02:08:17):
It hurts, so.

Speaker 6 (02:08:19):
I cannot do it again. I can use the strips
and stuff at home if there are a certain kind,
but you cannot do.

Speaker 4 (02:08:24):
The professional Why that painful that you would actually take
a day off from work because Kevin told the boss
that he couldn't work his weekend shifts. So Biyonca had
to fill in for Kevin because Kevin, he said, was
too injured to work.

Speaker 6 (02:08:36):
He actually called off y.

Speaker 9 (02:08:39):
I text him bro I said, this super random and
a bit odd. I just have my teeth white and
they really sensitive, like staying at certain points. I know
his last minute, but I wanted to know if somebody
could cover. If not, totally fine, I could push through,
but wanted to float.

Speaker 5 (02:08:52):
It by you.

Speaker 4 (02:08:54):
He was like yeah, that's a new one. He was like,
I got you though, and then.

Speaker 26 (02:09:00):
He's texting me, Hey, did you morning into twelve? Did
he tell you?

Speaker 45 (02:09:05):
Why?

Speaker 44 (02:09:05):
No?

Speaker 59 (02:09:05):
We didn't, And I was like, oh, maybe Kevin is
like going out of town because you left work early
on Friday, so I didn't know.

Speaker 26 (02:09:12):
And I was like, why is he not doing his show?
But you could have done your show before you got
your teeth whitened.

Speaker 9 (02:09:17):
The logs weren't in No.

Speaker 4 (02:09:18):
I tried, okay, so wait, hold on a second, and
logs are like, you know what we need that they
got to fix that problem. By the way, we're giving
out too much because we do every show live absolutely,
just so you know real quick, Bianca, you are the
can do person here.

Speaker 26 (02:09:33):
I literally take everyone's chef and I took video ship
that week.

Speaker 4 (02:09:36):
You are amazing.

Speaker 5 (02:09:37):
Bianca is by the way, getting the employee of the month.

Speaker 2 (02:09:38):
We're going to well.

Speaker 59 (02:09:40):
I think next time I have any minor inconvenience because
I know, damn, while you were able to talk.

Speaker 9 (02:09:45):
I could I promise you bro that you have no
idea until you get your teeth white.

Speaker 4 (02:09:50):
How painful is he?

Speaker 5 (02:09:51):
All right?

Speaker 4 (02:09:51):
I want to know from the listeners what is the
stupidest reason. Somebody called off work because Kevin called off
work because his teeth. We're too sensitive from teeth, Telly
was no way I could have done my live show.

Speaker 26 (02:10:03):
You can do my nine pm to midnight, and that's
my thing.

Speaker 9 (02:10:06):
I didn't say Bianca should cover me.

Speaker 4 (02:10:09):
Tony did that. It ain't on me.

Speaker 26 (02:10:11):
It's always as.

Speaker 4 (02:10:16):
It's not like we have a plethora of people here
that can pull it off at the last minute. So
I think Anna should do it. She's a new one. Okay,
I don't know how to do it. I'll show you,
but thank you. I appreciate it.

Speaker 26 (02:10:26):
Yeah, it's Kevin's going to do my show next week.

Speaker 6 (02:10:28):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:10:28):
I do think it's funny that that you know, you, keV,
who is the guy that literally works his tail off
doing what five jobs?

Speaker 5 (02:10:37):
I don't know how many jos.

Speaker 4 (02:10:38):
You got as many jobs as Ryan Seacrest does. But
I want to know that the fact that is this
the first time that you ever called off for something
as goofy as that your teeth hurt? You absolutely have.
You've never taken a game off like a Pistons game
off for a dumb reason, have you?

Speaker 49 (02:10:52):
No?

Speaker 9 (02:10:53):
The only the only time I ever had to take
a game off is because I got a I got
my COVID. Was it the booster we got?

Speaker 8 (02:11:01):
But okay, so let's say that the same day that
you got the zoom whitening, you were suppsed to announce
a Pistons game.

Speaker 6 (02:11:07):
Would you have been able to do it?

Speaker 9 (02:11:08):
See, it depends on what my roles and responsibilities were,
because because that could be a that could be a
shorter time frame to speaks more, you know what I mean,
Like it's supposed to be like, all right, we got
the best dance team in the world, dancers, Like, maybe
I can push through that if I got to talk
for thirty to sixty seconds, Like I don't know if
I'm gonna be able to you can you can never.

Speaker 5 (02:11:30):
It's different. You can never be a postal worker, right,
isn't the whole model there?

Speaker 9 (02:11:33):
Range I ain't doing that.

Speaker 5 (02:11:36):
Feel my feet too, finn.

Speaker 4 (02:11:41):
Do you ever think about that if, like, if we
actually had to work for a living, Like I drive
down the street, man, I bow down before construction workers
and stuff. I'm looking at those bastards. I'm going I can't.
I can't even like shovel uh you know, uh mulch
at my house. It's like horrible. I need a new
inhaler lot can do constructions. I'm about to text doctor
Warrener right now. All right, listeners, who have coworkers they

(02:12:05):
called in sick, or maybe they called in sick because
of some kind of crazy reason, like Kevin with the
teeth hurting the zingers, Leanne Leanny there, I'm here. Let
me ask you a question. You're going to tell your
coworker's story here in a second. Don't you think Kevin
calling in sick because his teeth were hurting as ridiculous. No,

(02:12:31):
you're not going to hurt his feelings. His feelings. What
was your coworkers? What was your co worker's reason why
they called in sick?

Speaker 40 (02:12:39):
So my co worker called in for two days because
his his wife's labrat died.

Speaker 5 (02:12:50):
Her lab rat. What do you mean lab rat? Was
that their part?

Speaker 27 (02:12:54):
Not?

Speaker 40 (02:12:55):
I guess she worked in like a lab as an
assistant in the the laborate passed away.

Speaker 4 (02:13:01):
But if they were mourning the labrat, isn't that the
whole point? The labrat is supposed to be taking, taking
whatever it is. Yeah, that's crazy.

Speaker 40 (02:13:10):
Yeah, but he also worked from home.

Speaker 5 (02:13:13):
Okay, so the labrat was at their house.

Speaker 3 (02:13:16):
No, no, he is.

Speaker 40 (02:13:17):
The labratt wasn't his house, but he worked from home,
so he would have been home anyway.

Speaker 5 (02:13:24):
That's crazy. That is unbelievable. Man, oh man, what kind
of work do you guys do?

Speaker 40 (02:13:31):
I worked for an insurance company.

Speaker 4 (02:13:34):
Jesus, that's unreal. Hold on, be your voice disguise and
they shall be How you doing?

Speaker 43 (02:13:42):
Hey, how are you good?

Speaker 4 (02:13:43):
We're talking about how cav called and sick because his
teeth were hurting. Call out your coworker.

Speaker 48 (02:13:50):
Okay, to my coworker.

Speaker 13 (02:13:51):
We are really good friends.

Speaker 51 (02:13:54):
He's a gay man and he called in to work
because he said he pinky. Okay, so we are all thinking, yeah,
someone started on your pillow or you had a really
bad dirty hook up.

Speaker 4 (02:14:10):
Okay, it was hilarious. Okay, and so did when he
came back after his pink eye. Uh did you ask
him how he got it?

Speaker 10 (02:14:21):
No, we knew he was faking.

Speaker 4 (02:14:23):
Oh how did you know he was faking?

Speaker 27 (02:14:27):
Oh?

Speaker 51 (02:14:28):
Because on Snapchat and Instagram he had something going on,
some club thing or something.

Speaker 6 (02:14:37):
What a dummy because pink noticing.

Speaker 36 (02:14:39):
Because it actually could have worked.

Speaker 5 (02:14:41):
Yeah, yeah, that is funny.

Speaker 6 (02:14:43):
Keas remember when you had pinky and you're good.

Speaker 9 (02:14:46):
Here still came to work.

Speaker 10 (02:14:49):
How did you get yours?

Speaker 38 (02:14:50):
Kevin?

Speaker 9 (02:14:50):
We already know.

Speaker 4 (02:14:53):
It was his thumbs were put in places he shouldn't
have been. Hi, Kelly, how you doing?

Speaker 59 (02:15:00):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (02:15:01):
Hi, we're talking about coworkers. You got a story for us?

Speaker 36 (02:15:05):
Yeah, So, like, uh, like two weeks ago. First of
my coworker had a baby over the summer. She just
came back like a month ago, and she called and
so she's gonna be late because she was four hours
late because she was looking for her baby's test player.

Speaker 5 (02:15:21):
Oh my god, I've had that happen with my kids.

Speaker 9 (02:15:23):
When you can't find a pass after an hour.

Speaker 44 (02:15:27):
I know.

Speaker 4 (02:15:28):
Yeah, well you know what though, I get it. But
when you when you lose a baby's pacifier, it is
a that is a national tragedy right there. But four
out four hour.

Speaker 36 (02:15:38):
Even think he's mobile, So I think he's just kind of.

Speaker 9 (02:15:45):
The baby the crowd hisself to sleep within that time
for at four hours.

Speaker 4 (02:15:49):
By the way, that kid is definitely hyperventilating. Angel you
work for a judge or or did you have to
go before?

Speaker 21 (02:15:56):
I used to work for a judge and one time
the power was out.

Speaker 58 (02:16:01):
It was one of the times we had like mass
power outing across like you know, the area, and we
were all expected to be into work. And she called
off work because she said she could not garage.

Speaker 4 (02:16:14):
Let your phone cut out? Right at the time. They
called off work?

Speaker 14 (02:16:17):
Why because she said that she could not open her
garage door.

Speaker 5 (02:16:22):
She couldn't open her Oh why why did she say
your garage door was broken?

Speaker 9 (02:16:26):
No, because the power was power was out.

Speaker 24 (02:16:30):
She said, you can manually open garage doors.

Speaker 10 (02:16:33):
Yeah, you're a judge.

Speaker 9 (02:16:34):
Yeah, forgot money? Or she could have honestly just called
an uber, right.

Speaker 12 (02:16:41):
And got an uber yes, dred percent like I think.

Speaker 4 (02:16:48):
Yeah, objection.

Speaker 38 (02:16:51):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (02:16:51):
By the way, if you can tell that you don't
work for the judge anymore, because you would never call
us to tell that story.

Speaker 5 (02:16:56):
If you work for the judge, tell.

Speaker 22 (02:16:59):
I like that.

Speaker 4 (02:17:00):
Hold on a second, Norma is on with us almost
as bad, maybe even just as bad as Kevin calling
and sick because his teeth were hurting him. You had
a coworker calling for what reason?

Speaker 27 (02:17:11):
Norma?

Speaker 55 (02:17:12):
You want to see your point?

Speaker 7 (02:17:13):
You got a sunburn stop.

Speaker 9 (02:17:19):
On a Tuesday, and he stayed off till Monday.

Speaker 60 (02:17:22):
She went on vacation, first time on long time, by
the way, by the way, getting a sunburn, you'd come
to work.

Speaker 48 (02:17:37):
Right right, That's what I said.

Speaker 4 (02:17:40):
You're taking your fine, your shower is gonna suck that day.
It's gonna be You're gonna take cold one, but it's
gonna hurt. Hold on, Jessica wants to stick up for
Kevin Preach.

Speaker 5 (02:17:50):
What's up? Jessica.

Speaker 49 (02:17:52):
Hi, I'm a hygienist and those fingers are definitely real,
so that's a very.

Speaker 9 (02:17:58):
Valid reason here we thank you. Why are you doing?

Speaker 49 (02:18:03):
I mean, those singers are I can't even explain them,
and they can last about a day, but.

Speaker 24 (02:18:11):
I would say just the day.

Speaker 49 (02:18:12):
But those those singers definitely are painful.

Speaker 14 (02:18:14):
I mean, you can stick like that, but they look.

Speaker 9 (02:18:19):
They gave me a tailanda and a prior to the procedure,
and it still didn't.

Speaker 4 (02:18:24):
Where's your Dennis.

Speaker 5 (02:18:27):
To the game?

Speaker 4 (02:18:28):
Robert de Pilla, mister Pilla, doctor de Pilla, what are
you doing? You're giving this guy, You're giving this guy
reason to call in seg the rest of the wait?
How come you wait? How come to? Pilla has given
me the little tray things that I use and it
never hurts my teeth?

Speaker 5 (02:18:45):
Do I have less sensitive teeth?

Speaker 4 (02:18:47):
He's given me better things?

Speaker 22 (02:18:48):
Have you do?

Speaker 6 (02:18:49):
You know what we're talking about with the things?

Speaker 4 (02:18:51):
Yeah you got.

Speaker 9 (02:18:53):
He's not giving me trays like this is like a
legit procedure. But it tookd like two hours. I don't
even going to be there.

Speaker 4 (02:18:58):
I don't even look whiter water yours. Your teeth do
not look that white?

Speaker 1 (02:19:02):
Right?

Speaker 4 (02:19:03):
Incredible?

Speaker 5 (02:19:03):
They look yellow.

Speaker 6 (02:19:04):
His light, though, is yellow.

Speaker 5 (02:19:06):
That's true, that's true. Let's switch home on.

Speaker 10 (02:19:08):
Switch the light up there, it to that cool blue tone.

Speaker 6 (02:19:11):
There we go, look at that and it looks pretty good.

Speaker 9 (02:19:13):
Oh you know what, you didn't even just keep your
ring light in front of you.

Speaker 5 (02:19:22):
You look good with just the ring light. Walk around
with that light.

Speaker 4 (02:19:25):
All day and you'll be fine. Everybody will go.

Speaker 5 (02:19:27):
Look at that.

Speaker 4 (02:19:28):
Now.

Speaker 5 (02:19:28):
They look really yellow. Hold on, you look yellow, you Johnny.

Speaker 3 (02:19:36):
This is Mojo in the Morning. New Year's resolutions we
can actually keep this year. I'm going to eat healthy
ish for a few days. Okay, maybe today.

Speaker 51 (02:19:46):
Channel nine five and Iart Radio station, it's time for
more mojo to Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (02:19:54):
All right, it is Mojo in the Morning show. You
know we haven't started with Anna, you know a bit
an a ray. It's good to have you got here
with us. Did you have a good weekend? Did you
have a good time?

Speaker 10 (02:20:03):
I had a great weekend, but yes I need help.

Speaker 5 (02:20:08):
Oh but okay, all right, what did you do anything?
Do anything fun or exciting?

Speaker 10 (02:20:13):
I did a lot. So Saturday I had a little
meet day.

Speaker 28 (02:20:16):
I did all of my favorite things, like going to
Eastern Market, my favorite coffee shops. And then yesterday I
volunteered and was just outside watching the Lions for you.

Speaker 5 (02:20:28):
Dope.

Speaker 10 (02:20:28):
Yeah it was cool.

Speaker 28 (02:20:29):
This was so I volunteer a lot, but this time
it was like in the neighborhood that I live in,
so it was right downtown. So we were passing out
food and I was like passing out food to people
that I see every day watching the streets. So it
was like cool to finally talk to them and hear
a little bit about.

Speaker 5 (02:20:45):
Their story and so good for you. That's awesome. So
what was the thing that you need to help with now?

Speaker 16 (02:20:51):
Yes?

Speaker 28 (02:20:52):
Okay, so I went out last night to watch the
Lions game and I saw this guy that I have
a huge crush on. I would love us to have
a thing, but here's the catcher. He is really good
friends with somebody that I talked to earlier this year.
So I don't know if this is like a conflict

(02:21:13):
of interest. I don't think that he knows that me
and his friend talked either.

Speaker 6 (02:21:18):
Just talked, or like, did you date for like a
couple of months.

Speaker 28 (02:21:21):
It was like a casual dating thing for like three months,
Like we we went out a couple of times, like
I would go over to his crib, he would come
over to my apartment, Like I liked his friend, but
I like this other guy more.

Speaker 4 (02:21:33):
I always wonder, like when Shannon, I'm happy that you
said that just talk? Does just talk and then coming
over to your place mean he's is he touching you?

Speaker 27 (02:21:43):
Is he?

Speaker 12 (02:21:45):
He was?

Speaker 4 (02:21:47):
Okay? All right? So because I think that's where I
was wondering. It's like just talk or yeah, casual whatever
the deal? All right, you guys, if you guys have
if you guys have even kissed, okay, take a side.
If you guys have actually touched each other's naughties, I
think you got to say something like I think if
you kiss his friend, you know what I mean, It's

(02:22:11):
got to be something that comes up because otherwise it's
going to come up between.

Speaker 5 (02:22:14):
The two friends.

Speaker 8 (02:22:15):
Is the guy that that you have a crush on
aware that you have a crush on him, know that that, yeah,
you talked to his friend.

Speaker 10 (02:22:23):
See, I don't know. I don't think so. I definitely
didn't say anything.

Speaker 28 (02:22:26):
He doesn't act like he knows because the guy that
I have a crush on is in my DMS, like
liking all my stuff, hard eyes, So I feel like he.

Speaker 10 (02:22:35):
Wouldn't be doing that he knew that I used to
talk to us.

Speaker 6 (02:22:39):
I was gonna say, I kind of think this is
more between them, But she's.

Speaker 5 (02:22:42):
Got to be the disclosure, don't you think?

Speaker 4 (02:22:45):
Do any think she's got to say, hey, by the way,
you know, we have a mutual friend, or we have
a I think the guy you're interested in, which is
the more recent guy, you should tell him a by
the way, just so you know your friend? Yeah for sure.

Speaker 10 (02:23:00):
I mean how would I say that, like just so.

Speaker 9 (02:23:02):
You know, say it, oh, by the way, because you
don't want to get blindsided by that or kiss him
and then now they're brothers, That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (02:23:11):
Yeah, you don't want to get blindsided with that information.

Speaker 10 (02:23:13):
E Then what would you do though, Like, do you
think this guy would that's a turn off.

Speaker 4 (02:23:18):
It depends on what you did with my friend, you
know what I mean. If I'm or like you know,
my nephews are now, you know, you know he's going
to be like sloppy seconds exactly. You don't want to
be the sloppy.

Speaker 10 (02:23:30):
Second, sang, So I really picked the wrong one.

Speaker 5 (02:23:32):
To start, you know what.

Speaker 4 (02:23:33):
Sometimes they that usually happens, and then you find and
then the one that you then with end up with
second is usually the one they end up in a
longer term relationship with. And that's okay. I will say,
the earlier you tell them, the better. We have friends
that are married to Uh. I have a friend who's
married to a twin and dated the brother first. No,

(02:23:55):
they dated the brother when they were in college and
out of college, you know, you know, went their separate
ways and then ended up back with the brother and
dated the brother, which, by the way, definitely made the
right choice to go secondary because not all twins are identical.

Speaker 59 (02:24:14):
This guy was my best friend too. Really yeah, actually
she's so my best friend. Her sister is dating a
guy that my friend used to date, so like her sister's.

Speaker 17 (02:24:23):
Now dating.

Speaker 5 (02:24:25):
You guys are Kaldians though that happens all the time.

Speaker 26 (02:24:27):
It's called called being a Caldandy.

Speaker 5 (02:24:32):
Okay, it's a white friend, so I think it's okay.

Speaker 26 (02:24:34):
I think she should just do whateverver she wants.

Speaker 13 (02:24:36):
What's going on, Taylor, Yeah, I definitely think you should
go for it, honestly, because guys are a little different
than girls.

Speaker 21 (02:24:44):
Like I do think you should bring it up like
so that he knows that, like, there was.

Speaker 19 (02:24:48):
A thing, but at the end of the day, he'll.

Speaker 47 (02:24:51):
Tell you that he's uncomfortable with it.

Speaker 37 (02:24:52):
Most guys aren't really though, to like, uncomfortable about those things.

Speaker 5 (02:24:57):
I disagree with you, Thank you.

Speaker 4 (02:25:00):
You don't think that most guys would be uncomfortable with
the idea that their friend was with the girl that
now they're starting to talk to.

Speaker 5 (02:25:08):
But they were just talking, Yeah, but they were they
were doing more than just talking.

Speaker 4 (02:25:13):
It sounds like I don't know exactly what the extent
of it, but I'm telling you I think that I
think most guys at first would be a little freaked
out by the whole thing.

Speaker 9 (02:25:21):
It depends on the severity of the interaction you had
with my friend and if I really, like, if if
you are not seeing you Anna, just speaking in general,
if I'm not viewing this as anything serious, Like if
I'm not trying to date you with intention, then I
don't care what you did with anybody as long as
you do that same thing with me and hopefully even more.
But if you're somebody I'm actually interested in pursuing, then

(02:25:41):
it'll matter. Corey.

Speaker 4 (02:25:43):
What's up?

Speaker 49 (02:25:44):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (02:25:46):
Hi, Corey?

Speaker 2 (02:25:48):
Love you, long time, love you.

Speaker 33 (02:25:54):
I was just I called in last week and was
talking about how Anna needed some guidance like this, what's
happening reverse?

Speaker 39 (02:26:01):
And it was like one of her friends and whatever
it may be, it would be totally she'd be upset.

Speaker 27 (02:26:07):
So you gotta let this guy know.

Speaker 5 (02:26:08):
What do you think about that? And if you put
the shoe on the other foot, I do?

Speaker 10 (02:26:14):
I think it's different for girls. I mean I personally
would also.

Speaker 28 (02:26:20):
I wonder like, is it my place to tell him
or should this be a conversation between him.

Speaker 5 (02:26:24):
And his friend. You're afraid that if you tell him
it ruins the mood?

Speaker 10 (02:26:28):
Aren't you a little bit?

Speaker 22 (02:26:29):
You should tell him? Or it's like you're keeping a secret.

Speaker 28 (02:26:32):
It's not that serious between me and this guy, Like
I don't even know if I should pursue it, like
pursue it, because I'm wondering if this will be problematic.
Maybe I'll just leave him.

Speaker 4 (02:26:41):
A no, I think you pursue I think I think, well, Cory,
you're very optimistic, man. I can tell you you're kind
of You're kind of a glass is half empty kind
of guy, aren't you.

Speaker 32 (02:26:55):
Uh not really, I'm just trying to help guide this
young woman.

Speaker 4 (02:26:58):
Okay, all right, Well, thanks for looking out for Anna.
We appreciate it. But I think you shouldn't give up
on it. But I think that it's just a quick
little Hey. By the way, we have mutual friend Well,
after I.

Speaker 28 (02:27:10):
Heard Kevin talk about his little how he feels about it,
now I'm rethinking of like, I don't think he'll ever
take me seriously.

Speaker 4 (02:27:18):
Now, Yeah, because here's the deal. As a guy, if
I knew that, and I'm going to go right for it.
But if I knew that the girl was having sex
with a buddy of mine, I think the whole time
that we were together, I'd be thinking, oh my god,
she yeah. Yeah, like I would be thinking about that
kissing is you know whatever, or pursuing and stuff like that.
But it's all of a sudden like, Okay, he's going

(02:27:39):
to forever have that on me?

Speaker 5 (02:27:41):
What's up?

Speaker 4 (02:27:41):
Justin?

Speaker 32 (02:27:43):
Hey, good morning, guys, good morning.

Speaker 4 (02:27:45):
How you doing. Are you a little bit more of
a hopeful person here than Corey was that we just
talked to.

Speaker 22 (02:27:52):
So here's my theory.

Speaker 32 (02:27:53):
I think the guy knows maybe they talked and they said,
oh yeah, and that's why he's in her DMS and
stuff and all these pictures and stuff.

Speaker 9 (02:28:01):
Right, you know what this is?

Speaker 4 (02:28:02):
This is uh, this is kind of a Yelp review
of dating, right, Honestly, can I tell you something that
there have been a lot of times as a guy
where you saw your friends dating a girl and you're like,
why are they with them? And you would look at
them in a totally different light like I would like
I would see guys sometimes with with girls and I go,

(02:28:23):
he's definitely not right.

Speaker 5 (02:28:25):
But then it you know, people like word of mouth, Right,
you go, right.

Speaker 4 (02:28:30):
Atis you go to your you know, favorite restaurant because
somebody said, hey, this place was great. I mean, how
many times we have that happen where you go see
a movie because somebody said that movie was great. They're saying, Anna,
Rob is great right, justin.

Speaker 9 (02:28:43):
I don't like that.

Speaker 10 (02:28:46):
I'm a good or service. That's being harder.

Speaker 4 (02:28:50):
Do you remember when you remember in high school? Honestly,
in high school, you used to date the girls or
the guys that usually other people would date.

Speaker 5 (02:28:59):
You would hear stories.

Speaker 4 (02:29:00):
I remember when my son Joe was in high school,
it felt like everybody.

Speaker 8 (02:29:04):
Was kind of like every member of the friend group
dated every member of the boyfriend group.

Speaker 4 (02:29:09):
Especially he went to a small high school, so it
was kind of a you know, there was only limited
guys and girls in the entire school, and it was wild.
You'd be like at homecoming pictures, No you're not Morris, Maurice.
I will be with you in one second. I remember
you go to homecoming pictures and you're like, this is
so weird. That was Joe's homecoming date last year, Maurice. Now,
I'll talk to you, Hi, Maurice. How you doing?

Speaker 22 (02:29:31):
Hey? Man? I'm good about to man good.

Speaker 4 (02:29:33):
I appreciate you asking that, because sometimes I'll pick up
phone lines and people would just keep They'll be having
their own conversations.

Speaker 22 (02:29:40):
Man. I was confused because I was like, why am
I hearing people right now? Part of this conversation.

Speaker 4 (02:29:46):
Well, we do have we have like a whole thing
where you can listen to us on hold so that
you don't you know, when we tell you to turn
your radio down, you at least know what's going on.

Speaker 5 (02:29:54):
But I'm excited to hear what he has to say. Yeah,
what's the story.

Speaker 17 (02:29:58):
No, man, I'm saying this wrong experience, and I'm gonna
be honest messing with Like you know, I've had friends
who who dated women. In fact, I bought my home
with a woman who I didn't know at the time,
but her two kids is by a man who she's
actually the third woman in common that I've had with
this man.

Speaker 5 (02:30:17):
In passing through a.

Speaker 22 (02:30:22):
Well in a small town.

Speaker 17 (02:30:23):
You know that'll happen sometimes and when you know, they're
gonna do what they do.

Speaker 22 (02:30:28):
So the thing is is for me, if I have
a friend.

Speaker 17 (02:30:33):
If a woman says, hey, I mess with your friend
before you know, and it was all of that, Like
she's going to his house.

Speaker 22 (02:30:39):
He going to her house.

Speaker 17 (02:30:40):
He's probably gonna tell me no matter what she wants
to believe, at some point when she tells me, I'm
gonna say something to him and he's gonna give me
all the details.

Speaker 22 (02:30:51):
It's gonna be hard in the long run to have.

Speaker 32 (02:30:53):
A serious relationship with her.

Speaker 17 (02:30:54):
So it depends on what she wants and what what she.

Speaker 22 (02:30:57):
Trying to do.

Speaker 17 (02:30:57):
Like if she's trying to just have is she trying
to just talk and you're gonna come over. Yeah, but
we're not. We're not We're not gonna be posting each other.
You know, that's not happening. But and that and that's real,
you know. So I would say, if you're gonna pursue him,
to do it with reservation, like, understand that that this man,

(02:31:20):
even if you do act like he want to have
a relationship with you, once he smashed, he might just
get weird with you, because that's that's just what happens,
you know.

Speaker 4 (02:31:29):
So, but I think you have to say something before
you smash. If you say something after the fact, I
think that that's where it we'll get back.

Speaker 38 (02:31:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 17 (02:31:37):
Yeah, but most guys don't, I kind of say, like
me honestly myself, like when I felt that way, I've
had times in my life with women where I looked
out the corner of my like, uh, with the like
I already made my mind up, Like after today, I
am not talking to her.

Speaker 22 (02:31:52):
Now, wow, so sometimes just yeah, you you have time
men do that?

Speaker 4 (02:31:56):
Hey, hold on a second. Amy wants to say something
more racent, and I want you to hear this. Amy
says that Anna's got to beware Why Amy, Anna.

Speaker 20 (02:32:06):
Don't be a homie happer girl.

Speaker 21 (02:32:09):
All right, We're just gonna talk about you without you knowing,
And that's just so awkward like that.

Speaker 24 (02:32:16):
I feel like that's what would happened, like if you
are smashed one and you go smash the other.

Speaker 47 (02:32:21):
They're gonna converse without.

Speaker 36 (02:32:23):
You knowing, because that guy probably already knows, to be
honest with you, he probably already.

Speaker 14 (02:32:27):
Knows what he's doing.

Speaker 5 (02:32:29):
All right, guys, thank you for the call. We appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (02:32:32):
Either knew nor improved, but still better than the rest.
Just Mojo in the morning.

Speaker 4 (02:32:38):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning. What did
you do yesterday with your son? With Josiah? I mean,
I didn't do anything with him.

Speaker 9 (02:32:45):
I picked them up from school, and I don't know
if they were not school but like vacation school or whatever.
All of a sudden, he started asking me, and he's
never asked me this before, but he asks to learn
how to drive and he's twelve years old. I don't
think I start learning how to drive that early, like
I mighta did the whole sitting your dad's lap and
like hold the wheel, and I think I might have

(02:33:06):
done that maybe once or twice with Joe Saya. But
also don't feel like I need to teach him how
to draw, like I feel like there are professionals that
can do that. Well he wait, he asked you, Yeah,
said hey, will you do this? And this is a
good bonding moment.

Speaker 4 (02:33:20):
I actually think that you should be the one that
gets behind the wheel with him before he even does
any of his pre stuff, which, by the way, it
starts early and earlier, Like I didn't start until I
think I was like fifteen. Now they started like fourteen
and like three months or something like that. It's like
something crazy in the state in Michigan especially, they do

(02:33:42):
something they start early, like think about this, JOSIAU says twelve.

Speaker 5 (02:33:45):
Yeah, he's going to be thirteen and how much whenever
February comes around.

Speaker 4 (02:33:49):
Okay, so he's six months away from being thirteen years
old basically, or a little longer than think about that
one year from now when he's that, you're going to
be preparing him for a driver's class, because at fourteen
years old, when you start looking for good, I.

Speaker 9 (02:34:03):
Think a driving instructor, someone who knows how to handle
children and plus the people to have the gas and
the break on both sides of the car. I remember
one time when I started driving at the driver instructor,
he took me to like the back of a bank.

Speaker 4 (02:34:16):
I was kind of scared because I'm like, are we here?
What are you about to do with me? Was the getaway?
Was he teaching you how to be a getaway driver?

Speaker 22 (02:34:23):
So what was going on?

Speaker 4 (02:34:24):
Like, sir, where the cones? Like, what's going on?

Speaker 9 (02:34:28):
But he told me to back into a parking spot. Yeah,
and I slammed on what I thought was the break,
and it was the gas. And if he didn't have
the break on his side, we would have went through
that brick walk.

Speaker 4 (02:34:37):
Really, I don't. I love Josiah, but I don't what
I'm gonna do if he hit the gas.

Speaker 6 (02:34:42):
Go go somewhere if there's no other cars.

Speaker 8 (02:34:45):
That's one of my favorite memories with my dad is
him teaching me how to quote unquote drive his He
had a little empty convertible.

Speaker 6 (02:34:54):
Actually he still has it. And we would.

Speaker 8 (02:34:56):
We would go in like the Knights of Columbus parking
lot and there'd be no somebody else there, and.

Speaker 6 (02:35:00):
He would teach me. It was so fun. That's all
Josiah wants to do. He doesn't want to get out
on the road.

Speaker 4 (02:35:06):
Channon, that was actually mine too. My favorite My favorite
moments were not so much my dad, but my big brothers.
My big brothers like taking me out driving. We also
had a we had a riding tractor, a riding lawnmower. Yeah,
because we had a lot of lawns, so we used
to have like this riding lawnmower.

Speaker 5 (02:35:22):
That we'd do.

Speaker 4 (02:35:22):
So I'd take that thing sometimes up to go get
ice cream and I'd be driving down the street. People
be looking like what's that guy doing?

Speaker 1 (02:35:30):
Then?

Speaker 4 (02:35:30):
But then with my kids, with my three sons, I
would take them to occ the community College's uh you
know parking lot. It was a huge parking lot, and
I would go there on weekends sometimes and just let
them go crazy. Now, I'm not gonna lie to you.
I was fearful when they were driving around like light
poles exactly, you know, But I but I was You

(02:35:50):
could sit there and scream at them, or you could
reach over and put the thing the gear shift in park.

Speaker 5 (02:35:55):
You know, won't you royal car like that? Well, look
at that.

Speaker 8 (02:35:59):
Josiah is such a responsible kid. It's not like he's
going to go nuts, I know.

Speaker 4 (02:36:03):
But all responsibility goes to the waistside when you having fun.

Speaker 5 (02:36:08):
I'm shocked. You're usually an experienced.

Speaker 9 (02:36:10):
Guy with un We can go go car racing all
you want, but getting behind the wheel of an actual vehicle,
I'm gonna need you to go to school.

Speaker 4 (02:36:19):
Alan, Is it too young for cav to let Josiah
just learn how to drive?

Speaker 33 (02:36:25):
No, our local track you're allowed to race if you
are fourteen with a permit.

Speaker 4 (02:36:31):
Really, where's this at? Where's your your hometown? Okay, so
you can go race to your car around.

Speaker 50 (02:36:39):
The track.

Speaker 33 (02:36:41):
If you are part of like the racing circuit. You're
allowed at fourteen with a learners permit.

Speaker 4 (02:36:48):
We have a track that's here, that's where all the
rich dudes have like really nice cars. It's called the
M one Raceway thing. It's overanac. You should see if
you could take although they may out like Kevin out
there his car be leaking oil and stuff.

Speaker 5 (02:37:03):
Actually, when is Gabari it's zot Ford getting you that mustang.

Speaker 4 (02:37:07):
You call him.

Speaker 5 (02:37:08):
That's when it that's when it should happen.

Speaker 33 (02:37:09):
Tom Blake, keV needs to get in Chevy tracks.

Speaker 4 (02:37:12):
I know, yeah, I wish. Yeah, I'm probably so no,
get get.

Speaker 33 (02:37:18):
So you need to get a hold of Tondo the
lawn and get on from Kia.

Speaker 4 (02:37:22):
Yeah, why don't we do that?

Speaker 22 (02:37:25):
Key?

Speaker 4 (02:37:26):
What is that Ford around here? I'll tell you what
you bring Josiah tomorrow to our giveaway of this car
that we're doing, and I'm going to have him go
on a test drive with Mona.

Speaker 5 (02:37:36):
Mona is gonna.

Speaker 4 (02:37:37):
Seriousna's going to take him down Ford Road.

Speaker 5 (02:37:41):
He sign your waivers? Nicole, what's going on?

Speaker 6 (02:37:43):
You're about to get a text from Mona?

Speaker 7 (02:37:45):
Hey, So you know.

Speaker 19 (02:37:46):
Driver's training starts at fourteen.

Speaker 20 (02:37:48):
And nine months?

Speaker 9 (02:37:49):
Is that what it is? Nine months?

Speaker 5 (02:37:50):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (02:37:50):
So it's it's fourteen nine months almost fifteen years old.
Isn't that crazy? How young that is?

Speaker 24 (02:37:56):
It's very crazy.

Speaker 52 (02:37:57):
I've went through it, you know, three times down So yeah,
it's it's insane.

Speaker 44 (02:38:01):
He was a little young, I feel like, but but
when did you take your kids out?

Speaker 41 (02:38:07):
So my youngest is sixteen now I took her out driving.

Speaker 48 (02:38:14):
Maybe she was thirteen.

Speaker 20 (02:38:16):
Yeah, I just set it on my lap and.

Speaker 41 (02:38:18):
I did the pedals and then she.

Speaker 4 (02:38:20):
Just care And Nicole, this was after a night of
you drinking too many uh Ranch waters. Not No, that's
when you learn how to drive, you know. That's when
my brother learned how to drive, Nicole, This is no
joke about My brother. Tony learned how to drive when
he was fourteen years old or thirteen years old and
my dad had too much at chee cheese that night,

(02:38:43):
so cheese we went for dinner and Margarita's and my
mom had her car, my dad had his car, and
my dad was like, I'm not feeling it. And back then,
you know, honestly, I think drunk people were driving drunk
all the time. But my dad was responsible. He led
a thirteen year old sober kid learned how to drive
at that time. What's going on, Kristin, Hey, I was like.

Speaker 24 (02:39:03):
I'm thinking take him go karting, Yeah, for like the
next year, and that actually, Mujo.

Speaker 12 (02:39:08):
I agree with you.

Speaker 24 (02:39:09):
I took my kids to the local college on the
weekends when they were thirteen and fourteen and started them then.
But go karting is the way to go or the mall.
You see how crazy they're going to be.

Speaker 4 (02:39:18):
The mall parking lot's always a good one, like on
a Sunday morning before church, and then you can pray.

Speaker 24 (02:39:22):
Oh, no, there's car is there?

Speaker 44 (02:39:25):
No?

Speaker 22 (02:39:25):
No?

Speaker 9 (02:39:26):
Exactly are you putting him on your lap in these
situations or are you just allowing him there?

Speaker 24 (02:39:30):
Actually, when when my kids were all thirteen years old
in eighth grade, I let them have the wheel in
the college parking lot.

Speaker 4 (02:39:38):
Yeah, let him have the wheel?

Speaker 27 (02:39:40):
What is that?

Speaker 5 (02:39:41):
What's that country song?

Speaker 4 (02:39:42):
Jesus take, Jesus take.

Speaker 24 (02:39:46):
There's a lot of praying going on.

Speaker 9 (02:39:48):
Now, there's a lot of swearing going on.

Speaker 6 (02:39:51):
Yeah, let's be real.

Speaker 8 (02:39:53):
Josiah would probably be a better driver at twelve than
I am at four two, So you're safe, bet God.

Speaker 4 (02:40:00):
Actually, we should we should rank the show. Who are
the worst drivers on the show? Shannon myself? Which ones
are the worst drivers on the show? Bianca is pretty
damn bad too. I mean she pulled up the first off.
She doesn't stop it any stop sign, they're all optional
in Detroit.

Speaker 2 (02:40:17):
She says, Yeah, last year?

Speaker 5 (02:40:21):
What's that?

Speaker 38 (02:40:21):
Jen?

Speaker 22 (02:40:22):
Hi?

Speaker 4 (02:40:22):
Jen? How are you?

Speaker 47 (02:40:23):
Good morning?

Speaker 5 (02:40:24):
Good morning, Jenny, Jennifer's got an idea for you where
to take Josiah.

Speaker 47 (02:40:30):
Okay, so this started with my grandma taking me when
I was about like fourteen fifteen, and then I did
the same thing with my daughter, but I take her
to the cemetery because you can only go like fifteen
miles an hour, and my grandma would say that you
can't do any harm because they're dead anything.

Speaker 8 (02:40:49):
Oh my god, I feel like the cemeteries, though those
paths are kind of narrow winey.

Speaker 5 (02:40:56):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 6 (02:40:57):
I like that idea good.

Speaker 31 (02:41:00):
There's a lot of four way stops where you have
to where you could teach the I feel like it's
better teaching because, yeah, there is the winding road, so
you can teach them how to drive slowly on the wine.

Speaker 14 (02:41:12):
You can talk to them while.

Speaker 31 (02:41:14):
You're driving because there's four way stops.

Speaker 26 (02:41:18):
I taught her.

Speaker 47 (02:41:18):
Okay, when you're at a four way stop, make sure
you know everybody's there and.

Speaker 20 (02:41:24):
You know when it's your turn to go.

Speaker 4 (02:41:25):
And by the way, let me ask you in a
four way stop, which direction goes first. If you guys
all get there at the same time, who do you yield.

Speaker 31 (02:41:33):
To let everybody else go?

Speaker 5 (02:41:34):
Because my anxiety is it the left?

Speaker 4 (02:41:37):
I thought it. I may be wrong.

Speaker 5 (02:41:39):
I thought it was the right. Maybe I'm wrong with that.
I don't know. Yeah, cht gpt that one. This is funny, Tracy.
Are you there? Yes, Tracy, tell everybody about your daughter.

Speaker 38 (02:41:53):
My daughter. On her thirteenth birthday, one did not get
a heavy birthday from her father, but she got a
call from her grandma about a mile and a half
down the road to get the car that was in
the driveway, go pick her father up from the bar,
take him home, and then go back and pick her
grandma up.

Speaker 27 (02:42:10):
From the same bar and bring her back home.

Speaker 5 (02:42:13):
Lucy way, where are we living? What town are you
guys from?

Speaker 21 (02:42:17):
I We're from poor Hero.

Speaker 27 (02:42:18):
But this was out in Avoca, in between Eboca and Yale.

Speaker 5 (02:42:21):
Because I was going to say that is like the
greatest thing ever.

Speaker 4 (02:42:24):
It's like my inn Againstier is thirteen years old, and
it's like, hey, honey, you're the thirteen year old uber birthday.

Speaker 38 (02:42:31):
Yeah, her dad said happy birthday when she brought him
home and put him on the couch drunk.

Speaker 9 (02:42:38):
Ah, she's blowing candles. He needs a breath a lot.

Speaker 3 (02:42:45):
Here's to another year of pretending you like everybody you
work with. Happy New Year from Mojo in the Morning,
twenty plus years of idiocy and still going in Detroit, Toledo,
in West Michigan, it's Mojo in the Morning.
