Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, is Mojo in the morning. I did not ask.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Lydia about her holidays. So, Lydia, what did you do?
And I and I know that this is interesting. I
talked to Lydia on New Year's Eve? Did you know that?
I tell you this New Year's Eve, I was hanging
out with Jed from the Joe Show as well as
my entire family, and his girlfriend had just broken up
with him.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
All for real?

Speaker 3 (00:25):
How do you break up with Jed?

Speaker 1 (00:27):
Well?

Speaker 2 (00:27):
And I don't know if you know this, but there
is at one point or another an almost romance between
Lydia and Jed. And I'm going to tell this backstory
on this one.

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Why there was no romance.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Let me explain the story of story let in.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
So we had Chelsea had a little get together party
for for all of us and for myself. And after
the party was over with, the Joe Show was all
in town. They came into town after the party was
over with, Jed and Ashley and Joe were all staying
at our house. Jed was going to bring a girl

(01:04):
back to our house. And I did not know that
this was going to happen until we were getting ready
to leave the place that we were having the party
and go back to our house, and all of a
sudden I had heard whisperings of Jed's bringing a girl back.
I'm like, oh, really, who's he bringing back? He's bringing
back Lydia from promotions at the radio station.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
He tried it.

Speaker 1 (01:29):
This was before she was even on her show as
the producer.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
This was a long time ago.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
She was Lydia from promotions, and so Lydia from promotions
was going to be brought back to sleep in room
with Jed.

Speaker 5 (01:43):
He's leaving out pieces here because I was. I was
driving home from the event and he had texted me
and said are you still around? And I was like no,
and he said, turn the good car around and come
hang out with me at Mojo's house. And I said no,
I wasn't.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
Going to drive back. I already lived far enough. So
that was the beginning and end.

Speaker 3 (02:01):
So you didn't even no, you did know? All these
years I thought you did.

Speaker 5 (02:06):
Really no, I never did. Me and Jed have never
hung out one on one. I just want to make
that clear. Jed and I have never actually.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
Had a thing.

Speaker 1 (02:14):
Do you have a thing for him?

Speaker 5 (02:17):
I was interested at that time, but now I do
have a man who I love very much.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
See, I don't want to mess up this relationship.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
That's where it will start.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
I do like, uh, do we call him gas station
guy or Andy?

Speaker 4 (02:30):
You can call him whenever you want now.

Speaker 6 (02:31):
All right, I feel like he graduated from gas station guy.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
It is going to be real. Let's give him a ruin.

Speaker 5 (02:37):
Everybody already knows who he is when I call him
gas station guy.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
Anyway.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
Okay, so you and Andy are in love.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
So that means that on New Year's when I was
facetiming you with Jed, because I did, I was facetiming her, going, hey,
Jed broke up with his uh, his girlfriend or his
girlfriend broke up with him?

Speaker 4 (02:53):
Here what you were saying?

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Either Lydia's at the Red Wings game with one of
her girlfriends and they're sitting there on the you know,
in the seats and stuff like that, and Jed's like
smiling away.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Do you want to see pictures? I actually have pictures
you took.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
Messy.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
You can look how drunk I am drunk.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
And then there's Jed, like a Jed was he drugs?
He was? He was probably stoned or something. I don't know. Okay,
So Lydia. What was who are you with? Were you
with Andy at that time?

Speaker 8 (03:24):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (03:24):
I was. So he was sitting next to me on
one side, and my cousin and her boyfriend were on
the other side, and then we were with a couple
of other couples and we had a really good time
at the Red Wings game. Mojo, Yeah, you did call me,
which kind of stirred the pod a little bit, me
and Andy because he felt like I was leaving out
some details between me and Jed, which there are none.

(03:48):
But after that, he had gotten the news that something
had happened with his family and he had an emergency
with his grandma, so he had to leave the game,
and we ended up me and my friends and my
cousins had to end up going to one of the.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
Guy's houses there that was with us. Sorry, does that
make sense?

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Yeah, So we all hung out and we all went
back to this guy's house, and it ended up being
me with all of these different couples, and I ended
up ringing in the New Year, sitting on my phone
doing nothing while all of these guys and girls are
making out and kissing on each other because I was
sitting there all alone.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Oh, because Andy was with his grandma.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Yeah, he left to go be with his family.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
First things first, is she okay?

Speaker 5 (04:31):
She's doing okay at this time, but I haven't really
had much of an update today.

Speaker 4 (04:35):
But she's doing good.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Oh my god, I feel horrible. So this is going on.
This was after I had facetimed you guys. Yeah, yeah,
I was, Oh my god.

Speaker 5 (04:47):
And then the day after was just such a little
mess for me trying to clean up.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
I was like, no, there's nothing to do with Jed. No,
I didn't do anything with Jed.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
Wow. Have you had a chance to spend time with
him since then?

Speaker 4 (05:00):
Yeah, we spent a little bit of time.

Speaker 5 (05:02):
But it's it's been kind of a little iffy lately,
just because I feel like I've had to over explain
myself about my past.

Speaker 2 (05:10):
And well, listen, if you would have stepped up and said, hey,
marry me back in the days, guess what, he wouldn't
have to worry about that.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Or if you just hadn't stirred the pot.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
No, no, no, no, Now he's got Now he's got
the opportunity to kind of, you know, uh, to make
it part of the future.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Right, He's got an opportunity to so Yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:31):
So while all these other couples are bringing in a
new year with their lips, you and Andy haven't had
the chance to do that yet.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Correct.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Would it ever have been appropriate for you to go
with him?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
No, and I don't. I don't want to do that.
I feel like that's like imposing. I don't know. You're
sitting in like the hospital waiting room with him and
his family who haven't serious boyfriend?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
I might, but yeah, could you could you go into
the hospital and be there? Grandma? I'm sorry, I know
that you're not well. Uh, can I make out with
your grandson?

Speaker 1 (06:04):
I like to support him.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
That's a tough time.

Speaker 2 (06:07):
That actually would be kind of nice if you did,
if you did, just like support him.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
So you want to do that, But I do support
support him in from my friend's couch.

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (06:16):
I understand that you haven't seen his family right in
a while. Yeah, that would That would not be the
time nor place.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Is his family happy that you're back in his life.

Speaker 5 (06:24):
I don't even know if they know the show, so
I'm sure it should be happy.

Speaker 7 (06:29):
They know.

Speaker 5 (06:30):
It's been a little bit of a trial run here
and now we're going into this new year, hopefully something
new comes about, but.

Speaker 1 (06:38):
That would be wonderful happy though.

Speaker 5 (06:41):
Yeah, I think it's a lot of the back and forth,
like you guys saw it.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
We've been back and forth forever.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
This is our last time trying, which is nerve wracking
for me, and now we just want to make sure
that we make it right before everybody knows.

Speaker 6 (06:54):
What's been different about this time than the previous times
when it didn't work out?

Speaker 4 (06:58):
You know, that's a good question.

Speaker 5 (07:00):
Lately it feels like he's more sure, and I think
he's more sure this.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Time, and you needed that from him.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
Yeah, but now it's it's the whole reassurance. You know,
I went through a whole relationship and then also there
were you know guys I talked to here and there,
and he just wants to make sure that there's nothing
getting in the way of that.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Now here's the.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Thing, though, You have to understand everybody has a past,
and just because you and he weren't together doesn't mean
that you had to be a nun you know what
I mean, or doing nothing you know what I mean?
Like that that's you know, you have to understand that
a person has a past and I and honestly, I
think it's good that he gets a little jealous of that.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
I don't like it at all because I feel like
I have to over explain myself.

Speaker 4 (07:45):
All the time.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Don't explain anything, just say that's part of that, that's
something you guys really need to talk about.

Speaker 5 (07:50):
But I want to explain myself, like I want him
to know that I'm not trying to do anything wrong
to him and I haven't wronged him.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
And that's the same thing I think that twenty one
or you know whatever he was twenty two two conversation.

Speaker 1 (08:05):
Yeah, it had come about.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
You know, it's an interesting topic to go along with this,
unless you'd like to comment to Lydia about her a
situation that she's got going on with with Andy. Who'd
you have to kiss at midnight? I want to know
who'd you have like? Or who'd you kiss at midnight?

Speaker 1 (08:21):
I want to know.

Speaker 9 (08:21):
My New Year's Eve this year, I don't even think
I told you what I did on New Year's I
was the only girl amid a group of very gay
men and my husband.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
Yeah, the only girl in the house. It was so fun.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (08:37):
Eventually I videotaped the moment of like small dropping in
the countdown and stuff.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
And I was like, oh my god. The first thing
I did was not even kiss my husband. I cheered the.

Speaker 1 (08:47):
Guy, the bad guy that was sitting next to me.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Quick pastion for you. Do you kiss the gay guys
at midnight?

Speaker 3 (08:53):
I did not. I mean no, no, I did not.
I love them.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Do you last kiss any of the gay guys at midnight?

Speaker 4 (08:59):
Or I don't think so. I mean I am actually
a kissed.

Speaker 1 (09:02):
But would I would?

Speaker 2 (09:06):
I would have said, all right, we're all kissing, we're
all kissing.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
The only girl.

Speaker 1 (09:12):
Is this anxiety? Probably that's a bad version of that.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Whole version I can't find a version of any I
want to that the song.

Speaker 1 (09:25):
Man and.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Guys like New Year's.

Speaker 6 (09:31):
Yeah, I think New Year's is a vibe if it's
done the right way. Like I've had different situations. I've
never had the club experience, and I think at some
point that's what I want to do. But I've had
the house party experience I've had, you know.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yeah, And Joe was she there, she came after that.
She see.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
I always think that the uh that New Year's to
me is I'm in bed before midnight. You know, you
don't like counting down and I'm and laying down there
trying to wake Chelsea up, and she's like, why the
hell you waking me up just to give me a
kiss at midnight?

Speaker 1 (10:07):
I'm like, I want to give you a kiss.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
No, I I I would like to have one New
Year's where we all dress up and we're all out somewhere.

Speaker 1 (10:17):
I want to be Ryan Seacrest. I actually say that.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
I d M Ryan and I and he actually hearted it.
I don't know if that matters, but I said to him,
I go one year, I want to be your guest
at midnight, you know, or at in Times Square, because
I don't want to go to Times squir becsuse they
say that once you get through, you can't go to
the bathroom. Sounds and Ryan seems like he's got things
going on, like I would like to be his guest
at midnight.

Speaker 1 (10:40):
You might make it happen to do a Detroit ball
drop or Planet Fitness.

Speaker 2 (10:45):
Maybe Planet Fitness will invite us because they always sponsored
the Ryan thing.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
What's up, Mark? How you doing? Good morning?

Speaker 8 (10:53):
Happy everybody in the studio? Yeah, thank you, thank you, Mojo.
I think you old Lydia and Andy a redo for
New Year's Eat?

Speaker 1 (11:01):
What do you think what do you mean by that?
A redo like I think.

Speaker 8 (11:05):
I think you should send him to dinner, you know,
that way they got a night out and then when
it hits midnight, they get their little romantic kiss. It
might be a couple of days late, but that's your
way of saying, hey, I'm sorry for making a silly
phone call and creating a bunch of crapp and have
it for you.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
So do you think that Andy would do something like that?
Would he do like a redo like that?

Speaker 8 (11:25):
I think he would, you know, I think he would
if Lydia told him said, you know, hey, Mojo's really
sorry for you know, stirring the pot and creating have
it for us on New Year's Day to start out
our brand new year together. He wants to send us
to dinner, so we can, you know, redo it.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
He's sorry.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Not a bad idea, all right? So that's terrible, Andy,
want to redo. We'll do a redo with this one.

Speaker 1 (11:47):
Hare so rocking New Year?

Speaker 7 (11:48):
You're the man? Who you are?

Speaker 2 (11:50):
The man?

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Thank you body. I appreciate it all you got having
right down? Oh god, I don't.

Speaker 7 (12:03):
Know, ahday I.

Speaker 5 (12:29):
Should the clean s.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
That's horrible.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
We not have a one in the middle.

Speaker 1 (12:35):
What's going on, Jessica? Ye Hi, My husband is just
like you Mojo.

Speaker 8 (12:41):
I told him he would not make it someone he wanted.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
To go out.

Speaker 8 (12:44):
I was like, no, let's just stay home.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
He passed up at about nine thirty o'clock.

Speaker 7 (12:50):
I waited until midnight.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
At about twelve o one night, we have two couches.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
I leaned over and gave him just to pack on
her lips and sun happy two year.

Speaker 4 (13:00):
He just looked at me like I was insane. But
it was beautiful because we were home and we were safe, and.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
I think, I think it's nice to be home because
I don't want to be out with the crazies and
I don't want to have like a drunk driver's or you.

Speaker 1 (13:12):
Know, pay pay like surge prices on Uber. And I'm
going a couple of blocks away, but it's still like.

Speaker 3 (13:18):
The weather got really bad.

Speaker 4 (13:19):
I'm like, it's warm at home, and like, can I.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Tell you something funny though? You talk about going a
couple of blocks away. One year we did the whole
We're going to the neighbor's house, and that was when
we found out who the ugly kissers were. Because all
of a sudden, next thing you know, it's like, you know,
I don't want to say yeah, yeah, Like it was
like all of a sudden, Karen's like kissing a little
too much, you know what I mean. You don't want

(13:44):
it to be a situation over there. We had that
happened one year.

Speaker 1 (13:48):
One year. I'm like tells. I'm like, Chelsea, that was
kind of awkward.

Speaker 2 (13:50):
I think she was like wants yeah, Like that's when
you find out you got you got friends that are freaky,
you know, like everything else.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
I have been listening year show literally some Doug like
fifteen years old, Oh my gosh.

Speaker 8 (14:03):
Forty one.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Now, Jessica, we should spend a New Year's together, you
you and your guy sleeping on the couches and uh,
you know you're you know, Chelsea and I get.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
An Airbnb kind of thing, you know, like where we
went for the night.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
And well usually there's lots of sofas.

Speaker 7 (14:19):
Guys will be good there you go exactly.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
You know it would be kind of interesting, wouldn't it
to do like a big uh like a radio station party.

Speaker 1 (14:31):
Who snores the loudest?

Speaker 8 (14:33):
Yeah, whose husband or well, in my case, my husband
would say my wife will win.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
I swear, are you snore.

Speaker 7 (14:41):
I guess, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
I got to be honest with you.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
I h I think it would be fun one year,
and then after that you'd go.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
I'm not really into this, just do it one year.

Speaker 2 (14:50):
Yeah, but it would be kind of fun one big one,
like have like a place where we could do like
a big party. But I want to do it indoor.
I don't want to be outside.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
I did Indure booves.

Speaker 6 (15:01):
We gotta have alcohol bottles like No, I want to
I want the casino, like somewhere like that, somewhere fun.

Speaker 1 (15:08):
What's up, Jessica, Well, I'm disconnected.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
Oh I already got you, Jessica. I'm sorry, I already
talked to you, Jessica. Jessica, you started freaking me out
about the idea that we're all gonna be on couches together,
so swinging.

Speaker 4 (15:22):
No, not together.

Speaker 7 (15:24):
No, I don't want to be freaking like the guy
with the ross and.

Speaker 1 (15:27):
Have multiple babies exactly. All right, we'll listen.

Speaker 7 (15:31):
I'm hanging up on you.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
No, I'm hanging up on you know. Goodbye, Jessica, Okay, goodbye,
all right, take care of yourself.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Jessica seems like the type that would want to like
spouse swap or something like that. I'm telling you, yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Uh, Wes and Shannon will take you over to their
day friends.

Speaker 3 (15:49):
I'm telling you it was a great time, all.

Speaker 2 (15:51):
Right, Lydia and Andy, we need to redo on this one.
Here is Andy listen to the show?

Speaker 4 (15:55):
Lydia, Ly, Sorry, I have a call on the line
who says he doesn't feel like coming on.

Speaker 3 (16:01):
Sorry.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
I just have to let him know.

Speaker 1 (16:02):
Does Andy listen to the show?

Speaker 9 (16:04):
Oh yeah, Oh yeah, you guys should redo every cute.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
Yeah, let's have a redo on this and let's have
a talk if you if he wants, maybe let's put
Andy and Jed on the phone together. Let's do and
Andy and Andy can't ask any question. Jed would answer
any of the questions. I don't think that there's anything
to be worried about.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
Let's not do that. There is nothing to be worried about.
I've even given messages up.

Speaker 1 (16:29):
What's going on. Let's just do a live call. Three ways,
let's do it. Let's do it.

Speaker 4 (16:34):
He doesn't want to do that. I've offered it, actually,
but he doesn't want to do that.

Speaker 2 (16:39):
Why do you would speak for him? Let him speak
for himself. Let Andy speak for himself. I already know, Okay,
all right, let's make it right. All right, let's do
it just randomly out of the blue. I'm gonna be
in the middle of like a dirty report, and i'm
gonna go hold on a second, right,
