I was to the fancy pub or the not fancy pub.

So I went up and I said, what does everybody
want to drink? And I went I'm man. I was
wearing my T shirt that I got when I was
in the States. Hellfire Club. It's from Stranger Things. That's
the Dungeons and Dragons club. Yes, yeah, to explain it,
it's this hell fire and then club underneath, and then
there's like a horned skeletal creature in the middle and
some like swords and some Anybody that sees our in

studio videos will be well aware of this T shirt.
It's a classic. It's alive.

in front of the drinks and got the drinks at
the table. Could imagine that. Yeah, And then she obviously
kind of wanted to change the subject. And she was like, oh,
dungeons and dragons are Remember everybody was freaking out about
their kids talking to the bloody devil because that's what

it was like in the a satanic panic. And she said,
everything goes around in circles and it's a that ship
come up again. Now the idiots thinking that talking to
the devil. You really getting into it. Yeah, she was
really good. And then the whole time you're just imagining
her up and a dungeon and how f Yeah with.

Absolutely just yeah, going to town. But I also was
to change pubs. Now I couldn't. Look, I can't change
the part. You can't because it's a it's a great pub. Yeah,
I signed up for the gooddest thing where you drink
a hundred points to get your name on the board. Off,
don't be one of those No, Aaron signed up for it.
You're one of these people. You and Aaron should race
to a hundred.

Yeah. I'd say that we probably go there the same
amount of frequency and Aaron will exclusively drink winness at
this pub.

absolute class. It is a town. It was like a
week now when we're in and my dad was like,
because my parents are up to watch my daughter play hockey.
Even after hockey and Dad's it was in here. It's

an all these people getting pressed after work four like
we're still people. They hate their jobs. They've got to
make it tolerable that their jobs, they hate their houses,
they hate their partners, so they don't want to go home. No,
I want to go have a couple of goodness. So yeah,
now I'm also I'm trying to get on the goodness
one hundred Okay, because I've always wanted about time just

for the rest of your life. You were knock that often? No,
you just read the city time. Yeah, makes it cheaper,
doesn't Between five and seven drinking time three dollars fifty
cheaper a pint's outside of that a dollar fifty cheaper
per point. Yeah, Aaron needs more encouragement to go to
the pub and drink inners. Well he's he's making money. Now,

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
