Speaker 1 (00:01):
Fleashwood and Hayley's Little Bit of Pod.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Great things are brewing at mcafe, the perfect start to
every day. Welcome to a little bit of Pod, guys.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
I nearly died this morning. I nearly got killed by
a big double decker bus.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Is this why you were late? No, you're born level late.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah. I rocked in five thirty year.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Two in rolls. You should try five forty two. No.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
I don't like it, I think, and then I've been
on the been on the back foot all day.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I don't like it.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
You like me, You need to be here, you need
to settle, you need to get in but a quiet time,
get in the environment, get in the headspace. I don't
like rushing and anything being straight on.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
It, whereas Vaughne just likes to rush in like a twister.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Like a tornado.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Well this morning, it's like it's a bit of a
sliding doors moment because had I have been on time,
I would have, you know, avoided this bus altogether. But
where we come off the motorway and head down towards
the studio, I got to do with the ranch slider. Well,
it's like, you know, if I had have gotten up earlier,
I hadn't have done that, you know, snooze so many
times I would have gone, well, maybe I would have

(01:04):
been part of a crash earlier on. We don't know,
because you don't know if you had working up on time.
It could have been a logging trucks. The lanes there's like,
gods die, there's four lanes heading down to the work
and I'm on the far left lane and then one
of those big double decker like airport buses. Oh yeah,

(01:27):
he was up next to me. And you know, when
you're driving into a bus and you're going the same speed,
there's always a little bit like, how's he seeing me
up there? And he's so wait, you know they're not
up there, right, But the whole bus feels how is
he seeing me up there?

Speaker 2 (01:43):
He's not on level one.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Driving, not driving from the top of the driver drove
from the top.

Speaker 2 (01:50):
And back the wild wacky races. But it's just cameras.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
He was doing that thing. It was such a big
bus and the lanes are quite narrow, where his wheel
was almost on the line that they were supposed to
share it. And I was feeling really like pushed, and
I was like in my head and it was dark.
I was like, is he coming into my lane? Then
he does. He just starts mushing me, and then there's
parked cars on my left. So he starts like coming
in like sandwich. I'm going to be sandwiched and pressed

(02:26):
be killed. Instantly, he starts swerving in front of me,
and then so I start tooting maniacally to let him
know that I'm down here while he's up here's the
bus at the top of the back. He can't hear
me all I was, and he didn't. He didn't stop,
so I had to jam on my brakes just before

(02:47):
I was about to scrape the parked cars to avoid him.
And then I think as he crossed over he realized
he wasn't even trying to get in my lane, and
then he sweared right off to.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
The line, pretty on his phone at the back of
the bus.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
It was not insane.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
The boss of the bus coming and be like, I
don't know about this up the.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Ship from back here.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
I think someone yeah, because they turned right.

Speaker 1 (03:12):
Right and I go straight down. And then so I
tried to pull up and give them the what the fuck?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
I gave someone to what the did you know? There
was it?

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I just dried but you were riving and.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
They were going one hundred. No, no, someone literally did that
exact same thing. Like they came onto the one and
I was in the middle lane. You'll be pleased to know,
not in the fast lane. I was on the middle lane,
and they just drifted through the first lane instead of
coming into the second. And I was like, flights light
lights lights horn horn horn lights lights lights, And then
they were like wow and got back in the lab.
All of a sudden, I look at them, I'm like, what
the fuck was that?

Speaker 1 (03:42):
What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (03:44):
They would look they were just like, yeah, I love
an eyeball.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
A like, because what are you actually gonna do? Say,
what what are you doing? You? Yeah, get down from
your big bus.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
Come down down.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
I'm down here anyway, guys. I survived, but it was
very It was a harrowing way to start the day.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
And maybe if you're on time, you'll miss the bus tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Yeah, maybe I will be because he obviously works on
that schedule.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
I saw that bus when once when I was early. Okay, yeah,
you're my running very they're like every fifteen minutes those
buses A not that one, isn't it half an hour
and fifteen one.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
Yeah, maybe I.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Saw the one that was half an hour after that.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
Then anyway, I'll be on time tomorrow. And I have
a bit of attitude. If you do listen to the
podcast and you think, gosh, you have a shitty attitude today, yeah,
that'll be why. That'll be why
