I'm saying it is fine.

I said, oh, it's my pop's birthday today, and then
Flett was like, oh, how old would you have been?
One hundred and ninety six, because we do laugh when
people say, yeah, oh my god, my great great grandmother
would have been.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
For heavenly, ye should have been two hundred and sixty one.
Today was on end. Yeah, old people who died once
are older now if.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
They haven't, they don't keep getting older. It's my pop's
birthday today, Well.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
What it's did?

Speaker 2 (00:54):
He's gone?

Speaker 1 (00:56):
But yeah, And then we were laughing about people that
how far back do you go? Oh my god, my
first ancestors, who's land this as it's to their birthday today?
They would have been four hundred and seven. Yeah today,
but sadly their life was cut short.

The life side.

Getting old and of any medical care, any.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Kind of science. Yeah, how long have you guys been
without grandparents?

Speaker 2 (01:25):
I've still got one.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
Oh that's right.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Marlene is still alive and kicking and just got a
new TV. Now, how she just got a fifty five?
And how is she handling that? Not? Not well at all.
She bumped a button the other day. She said to your mom,
I bumped a button. And Mom said, cal Vorn, because
this is my granddad just used to call me and
be like, all right, I've done something, and I'd just
be on the phone, no idea, blankly trying to get him.

It was HDM, what was it? What button? Han? She pressed? Well,
she never called me. Murray went and sort of, oh.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
That's good, Uncle Marray.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Did she get the same Did she always have a
flat screen smart TV? Or no? No, her last and
she's gone up and size, but she didn't want to
go too bid because she wanted to keep the TV
in the corner.

Speaker 1 (02:08):
I got old.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
People love a TV in.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
The corner corner. You know what a corner unit? You know,
because the corner for a big boxy TV back in
the day was the best place.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
The grass would go into the corner.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, totally. And then they just got used to it. Yeah,
but she's gone to a fifty five. Yeah. I think
her last one was like forty two. First flat screen?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Gosh, what's near sixty five?

Speaker 2 (02:32):
If you get to ninety and you're buying one last TV,
fuck it as big as you can sit, you're gonna get.
What does she should spend all that money? Yeah, that's
the best. Do it, and then we can argue over
her who's getting the monstrosity of the one hundred and
twenty inch Samsung television?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Yeah, but no, I don't know. I often think of
them on their birthdays. I'll be like, because my nana's
birthday if she was still alive, thirteenth of October, So
that's coming out. I think of them on their birthdays.
But I've never been so bold. Has to post there yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Givenly birth.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Yes, it's just not yeah, yeah, not my vibe.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Well, happy birthday to my pop who today would have
been ninety four and instead is because.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Not yeah did you post anything on Facebook when he
did pass? I think so right, because when my granddad,
whose name was Alan but they everyone called him AC
because Alan Charles Holmes, when he died, I just put
as a Facebook status peace out ac So many people
messaged me, going, is your conditioning broke? No? Just my no,

my heart's broken.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Oh I'm just trying to look back.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
So it was during lockdowns he had one of those
you known't a funeral. Yeah, I was doing we're DOINGBPA.
No one could be there. Aaron went up because I
was filming things.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Not So how old would it be today?

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Ninety four born in September nineteen thirty. Crazy, What a time.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
What a time to be live. Wouldn't go to work.
I would have been too young for World War and
I didn't go to the wars man. All the things
you'd like if you were still if he was still
alive now, the change that he's seen in his lifetime,
I know it would be insane. I know about my nan. Yeah,
everything's changed, everything, everything everything.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
I sort of feel like, you know, you think about
people who have passed and you're like, oh, you know,
they didn't do that COVID thing. I mean, imagine my
marching coach died and I'm always like, man, she would
have fucking hated that, getting.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Locked up and told what to do?

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Lockdown? Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah yeah. Old people did
hate it.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Now I didn't do a post what a dirk I did.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Yeah, yeah, did you make it about yourself? No?

Speaker 1 (04:47):
I did a photo of him with all of his
kids in Nice and then him on his ninety f
or the smile at the pub that he will papered
as a young man, and it's still got his wool
paper on it.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
That says two things about that pub. They did it
right the first time.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
It is to write the first time, and that's too
cheap to pay it, nor money to redo the part,
nor money
