I don't as someone that's traveled a lot. If you
see a hard rock care like they're everywhere in the
like Central America and the Caribbean and all around.
Speaker 4 (00:35):
The massive Once upon a time you couldn't go to
a tourist destination without their being.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
They're still but they're for basic bitches, literally absolutely.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
That's super expense.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
They are super expensive, so expensive and for those that
have never been they have the walls and.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Just collectors ship that definitely didn't belong to the musician.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Yeah. Like, so Vaughn, we're at the airport and Barling
ones like we have to go to the hard Rock.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
The phone hard Rock Cafe now open against sex. I
was like, we're going to get sex worsting an unconditioned,
unear conditioned area. I was like, surely the hard rock cafe.
It was.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Actually it's what led to the one one sar Google
review for the airport on. But so we're sitting there
and next to us is the exact costume that Nicki Minaje.

War and the exact white boring some address Taylor swift
Head on at one point once and.

Before she was famous, and a guitar that the Rolling
Stones drove past once.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Yeah, they looked at it and said that certainly is
a guitar wa glass case and put it up.

I don't have a hard rock obsession. Was hope for reconditioning.
But I have been to a hard rock or two.

Yeah, see he loves them. You're one of those tourists
that are like, I'll go to what I know?

You got a whiskey sour which on Barley Belly, I
tell you was a bold and whiskey if a sour
is clesantly made with egg white, nothing, nothing, listening, no
froth on top.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
I was like that, there's not a sour.
Speaker 2 (02:01):
Maybe that's how you guys got your Barley belly.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
The No, we already had froth and I only had
I had a Coca Cola because before that.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
Though, because there were a lot of cocktails consumed.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
Yeah, it was one or two that would kill the
barley one or time. That's why I was doing so
much of it.

Well, I'm drawing a hard line now on even going
to the hard rock hard because it was very lackluster.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
I think every time, you know, you you know, it's
ship and then you go to a bank transaction, it's
like two hundred bucks.

You've got a burger and a coke.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
There's only one. There's one hard rock cafe all of
Thedonesian was the one we went, of course, but it
used to.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Be one in Queenstown but it closed down years ago.
It was it was on Shotover Street, I think on
you know, one of the main that made years.
Speaker 1 (02:45):
But in New Zealand realized we're too good for that ship,
do you know. I mean, we've got good restaurants.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
There's a hard rock cafe and guam. Oh yeah, the
World War two outparts. Yeah, don't be going.

They're basically everywhere Americans tourist.
Speaker 4 (02:58):
There's a whole Cape town.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
I know, I know that's one.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
Have you been there to that one?

That's actually got quite impressive memorabilia.

Yea from It's got the actual metress. Lady gigar War,
y'are's fucking hard rock cafe mold like, wouldn't you just
give it up? It's done.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
Hard rock cafe sham Al Shake that looks to be
at the mouth of the Suez Canal.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yeah, so we can go to tooth for there.
Speaker 1 (03:31):
I love I'm at the fucking Suez Canal and then
we go.

We pulling to go to the hard rock cafe. I'm
leaving the trap.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
With a hard rock cafe ten wreath, and then the
hard rock Cafe Grand Canario right next to on the
neighboring island. You've overloaded your hard rock cafes. Mongolia has
a hard rock cafe. Is it a buffet? Monco, It's
a barbecue barbecue buffet. And yeah, you cook on the drums,
you cook on the upturned cymbals.

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary.
