On this episode of Latinos Out Loud we hear from former LA Dodger Announcers and father-son duo, Jaime and Jorge Jarrín. Aside from calling the shots at Dodger Stadium, they are partnering with Los Defensores to launch the 2025 Scholarships to empower future leaders in law and journalism.

Since retiring from his legendary 64-year career as the Los Angeles Dodgers' Spanish voice, Jaime Jarrín has poured his heart into the Jaime and Blanca Jarrín Foundation (JBJF), which he co-founded with his late wife, Blanca, and Los Defensores, JBJF's corporate fiscal partner, which provided the seed money to start the foundation.JBJF uplifts underserved LATINO students in California by awarding scholarships to those pursuing careers in law and journalism, fields that reflect Mr. Jarrín’s belief in justice, truth, and storytelling.
