The University of Iowa Athletics Department will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, hosting HERkys’ Hawk Walk on Saturday, May 7, at Francis X. Cretzmeyer Track.
The event will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX and all those who have been committed to providing equitable access to sports for girls and women. The 50-minute walk will be accompanied by activities that educate and celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. The event will also kickoff a year-long celebration of 50 Years of women’s athletics at the University of Iowa.
