Speaker 1 (00:14):
Yo, yo yo. Did you hear my two minute verse?
You know on a warm up?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Did you? Could you hear that? Bro?

Speaker 3 (00:22):
You did not freestyle, and I'm glad that you did.
I didn't hear it.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
If you did it, you didn't hear my two minute verse.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I just flowed for two minutes when we was waiting
on the stuff on the beat.

Speaker 3 (00:31):
Hey, listen, man, I know you, David Roughing and all,
but don't ever interrupt my intro like that.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Man, don't do that's wrong with you? Man? A pause? Yo,
yo yo.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
We live on location. The blackest one is acting the
food today. But we're gonna We're gonna get past all
of that.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
We back.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
We fresh from All Star weekend. We feeling good. Black
I know you feeling good because you come on here
clowning like that. Ain't gonna ask you today, but you know,
we back Wednesday, two pm. YouTube knuckleheads, hand do we
out here, shout out to the fans, shout out to everybody.
We ain't even gonna do no bush or ass segment
this week because you know, it was it was a
down week. We had all starts where it was relaxation

(01:10):
and things going on. We about getting to this all
start weekend. We're gonna get into that deep. Let's take
a look back. Man, thoughts on that we I want
to start right in on it. What were your thoughts
on the new format for the All Star Game, for
the Sunday, for the Big Game.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
What I'm gonna say, shout out to bad Boys, shout
out to Will Smith. We're gonna take that format. We're
gonna ball it up. We're gonna put it in this
little box. We're gonna close the box, and we're gonna
throw that motherfucker deep in the ocean. Gear me, like
deep deep in the oser so it can never be found,
so so that it didn't hit right for you. It

(01:47):
didn't hit right for me. I hated the every every
in between was like halftime of a basketball game or
what they're doing.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
I just didn't like none of it.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
The rides and stars look awkward out there playing against
the real all real All Stars like these guys and
put the work in to be where they supposed to
be in play on Sunday. They shouldn't even been there.
It's just the whole thing. And I'm sorry, NBA. You
know I love love you. I'm not trying to dog
you or talk bad about you. But that one wasn't it?

(02:20):
That one nit like the end season tournament. I'm down
with that.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
I love that, But that one, that one nit that one.
I'm with you on that one. Black I listen, I
gave it this fair shot.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
I said it beforehand, you remember, I was as soon
as I knew that the rookies and the rising stars
is gonna get a shot to play on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
That didn't. It never connected right with me, you know
what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
It's a lot of guys out there that you know,
that deserve to be All Stars that never got that chance,
and you got you know, rookies and sophomoores in the
game like that would And I just didn't like to me,
like everything, all of the numbers, it was like thirty
nine forty minutes of basketball in like two and a
half hours of everything else.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
So for me, that didn't hit right.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
If I'm on the side of anything, I want to
go back to the traditional I felt like the guys
played harder. Actually, you know what I'm saying, They competed
better this year. I feel like if we get back
to the traditional East versus West, and the guys bring it,
bring the you know what I'm saying, the competitiveness all
everything as well, there's no more one seventy to one
forty games and stuff like, get out there, play hard

(03:25):
against each other, put on the show and then that's it.

Speaker 1 (03:29):
Yeah, I definitely play. I definitely thought they played a
little bit harder. But shout out to Weinby. Man, I'm
starting to love Weinby. Every time he speak man, he
gets out at all, starting to make no goddamn friends
he gets ain't about no friends. It's about this about
coming out here and hoop and going back to my team.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I love Weinby for that.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Listen, I'm not I'm not sure, but oh we're talking
about the to the Hey look the one v one turnment.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I think they should definitely do that one hundred percent.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Let me ask you this though, because like and Unrival,
it's not that many players. How do you choose who's
who can be in it and who can't? And how
many guys can be it? Not really who can be
in and who can't? Because I feel like if you're
in the NBA, you should get an opportunity.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
To be in it.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
But how many guys do you choose because you're trying
to do this and unrival, you have different days. They
wasn't really knocking that all off, and in one day.
This is All Star weekend, So you gotta get this
accomplished in one day.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
But that's why, that's why it's gonna come down to
a to a pool.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
They gonna have to make, you know, parameters on who's
allowed to be in and why they are they gonna
that's you know, that's above.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
You's know what I'm saying. So what do you think
how many guys? You think ten would be a good
for a you know what? I I don't know how
they can. I mean, you know, they got to figure
out they gonna accomplish that in one day. They may not.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
They may be like you know, just a difference of
All Star weekend, like how they got Saturday night. That
might be like a Friday night deal after the after
the rookie game or something. You do the one v
one time or earlier than the rookie game or something.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I don't know the first part of the one v
one and then finish it on something something like that.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Maybe so maybe the championship on Sunday or something like that.
Before like before the game or at halftime of the
game or something like that.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
I don't I don't know how they would do it,
but I think it'd be dope.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
I was, I was, I was liking hearing you know,
the Kyriees and some of the guys say that they
would they would be in for it.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
What did you think of hearing?

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Cause, first, shout out to Mac McClung man, you know,
shout out to him for three p and that's never
been done. And I felt like he truly leveled up
every year, which is something that's hard to do one
year after the next, especially the the you know, the
type of dunker he is it. I like the fact
that he paid hamas to some of the older guys,
ag and Blake jumping over the car and the little

(05:54):
hover board, but shout out to him for putting on
the show and three PTE the doing and this thing.
I thought Stephen Cassell went crazy too, though, I thought
he went crazy.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
But what did you think of of the of the.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Guys, the Ja Moran uh janis you had then you
had a g chime in then Zach Levine, what did
you think of that back and forth on social media?
I know, for me, I hope it's not just a
prisoner of the moment and everybody's sitting there getting geared.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
I want to see this really coming. I think, I
think that's dope.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
But what I want to say, and this is no
disrespect to Mac mccullor, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
McClung.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
Uh shouts out to him for winning three in a row,
so forth fung, But I don't feel.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Like he deserves to be in the game.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
He's not a he's not an efficient NBA player to
be in the NBA Dunk I mean Dunk Contest, which
I know has been bullshit for the last year, so
they had to find other guys to add in.

Speaker 2 (06:58):
But you got to be a player, you know what
I'm saying to me.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
You got to be a player that's on the team
getting PT, whether you're not getting PT, you just a
consistent player in the n b A. I feel like
that's the reward to be in a dunk contest for
the NBA. Sorry, I hope I'm not. I apologize to
Mac because it's not a this to you, you know

(07:21):
what I'm saying it.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
But if it's a this, the this is to the
NBA players that were that refused to participate in the event,
which is why he was given the opportunity to even
be there.

Speaker 2 (07:33):
And that's why I said.

Speaker 1 (07:34):
That's why I said, I understand, I understand that, But
he's a G League player.

Speaker 3 (07:38):
I say, And they had to they had to do
that because you had no guys willing to step up
to the plate and do it.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
And he obviously got the goods.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
So like that's why he like if if so, Basically,
if if the zach Levine, the Zions, the Jobs, the
all these guys, if they were signing up, there's no
chance for mac Clung to even get in there.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
Because the superstars have been present.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
I understand that, but that's just what it is to me.
It's like he's never should have had the opportunity to
be in the Dunk Contest. But respect to him, three
in a row, he made history. I think that's dope
for him and his family. Uh, shout out to him
for doing his thing. Man, three years in a row,
he gave us stuff that we wanted to see. But like,

(08:25):
like the same thing I feel with the Rising Stars.
The Rising Stars shouldn't have played on Sunday Dunk Contest.
A G League player shouldn't be in a dunk contest.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Now, I'm with you, I feel with you.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
So no disrespect to him. Shout out to him and
his family. Man, shout out to him for winning three
in a row. But that's just how I feel.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Okay, David Ruffling has spoken? What what so? So? What? What?

Speaker 3 (08:49):
What do you think about? We already knew Jannis wasn't
gonna play. I think ant was a was a was
a kind of a late scratch too. But what did
you think about everything that's being said about Ryan being
a late scratch. He didn't dress for the for the pictures,
didn't dress out for the game, didn't give them a
chance to put a substitution in his replacement in his place,

(09:10):
or whatever. Like, what did you think about the way
that went?

Speaker 1 (09:13):
I just really didn't like how that went for him,
or you know what I'm saying. I feel like, guys,
you know, my Clipper guy could have gotten normal. Other
guys could have got that opportunity. I remember we was
playing so good with the Clippers our second year. Elden
Brown was averaging a double double. I think at the

(09:34):
time he was either leading replacement. It was either leading
or second in double doubles up to that point, and
I think Shack backed out and Elten got an opportunity
to be in the All Star Game, which was dope
because the Clippers haven't had an All Star in so
many years, you know what I'm saying. It felt I

(09:55):
felt that was him getting in the All Star Game.
That was accomplishment for all of us who was on
that team, to show that what we was doing in
our second year, we was making some noise in the league.
Him being twenty one years old, I felt. I felt
that was dope.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
So, you know, guys missed opportunities for that. I know.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
I feel like they knew ahead of time, and I
just wish they would have just just did it, like
Giannis and I think ad they couldn't play. Just announce
it wouldn't have hurt nothing or kept nothing out unless he.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Wanted to keep a Clipper out.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
No, I'm just playing, but but yeah, I just felt
like they should have just announced it a little early
so they could have got another guy in there and
had the opportunity to get an All Star under their belt.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Yeah, like we we don't know what's going on behind
the curtains or behind the scenes, and what what the
motives for the weight that things were, uh the way
the way that it went down. But I'm definitely against
not giving them enough time to put replacements in. Bro,
Like you come on, bro, we know if we're not
gonna play, especially these guys, and this is All Star weekend.

(11:00):
This ain't like this is a you know, a finals
game and you really playing it day to day with
how your body feel or something like that. Like you
should have been able to say that at least early
enough that morning or the day before, even to me
if it was already like they said, how you've been
on the injury.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Report, if it was a you.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
Know what I'm saying, if it was a TIF for
TET thing, you just give them time to do that,
Like okay, like cool, I'm gonna say at this point
where they still got enough time to say, hey, Storm
and Norman, you you.

Speaker 2 (11:27):
Here, you can get in the game or whatever they
gotta do.

Speaker 3 (11:29):
But like cause that like like you say, like like
you say for me, I'm all about the people's opportunities
and like who knows, Like like Norman being granted this
position this year basically because Kawhi was hurt most of
the year, so he got a chance to really step
up and showcase who he is and what he could do.
If everything go back to normal this year, he won't

(11:50):
get that same opportunity with a harden in Kawhi, Like
this could have been his one chance in his career
and he don't get it because you just didn't say
something early enough, like.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Come on dog, like nah, I'm not I'm hot, like.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
You know what I'm saying, Like that's that's the part
for me, that that somebody like that who's extremely deserving
us being an All Star, like we say people some
people say should be fifteen man roster as opposed to twelve,
so somebody don't always get snubb.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
But like when it's a situation like that, I agree.

Speaker 3 (12:22):
With those that say that that was the Lebron went
about it in a selfish way because you weren't thinking
about anybody else but yourself. You didn't give the NBA
a chance to try and situate stuff and whatever other
player that was.

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Gonna get that opportunity. You didn't care about that either.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
Yeah, So me, I'm kind of I didn't want to
see Lebron Like I'm on the other side too, because
I didn't want to see Lebron on the court with
no rising stars doing the All Star Game.

Speaker 2 (12:50):
Hey, listen, you're not worthy of that, you know.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Then with that being said, if that's really how you feel,
slide to the side unless somebody who don't mind playing
with them rising stars get up out there. Don't do
it like that, where you don't just leave them a
chance like you got all of you got all of
right in the world. To say you don't want to
do that, that's cool, But to like not even give
somebody else that chance, that was bothus.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Yeah, look at the second half. Black gotta get to
the second half. Street the schedule, we got what we
got going on here?

Speaker 2 (13:21):
Man, this is Can our sons get there?

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Bro?

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Can the Sons get there?

Speaker 3 (13:27):
They in the eleventh spot right now, they got they
got the number one toughest opponents schedule left twenty eight
of them.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
No, they just got to do some balling, man, they
just gotta do some balling. That's just what it is. Uh,
they at the top of the list. Yeah, it's it's
gonna be hard. What positioning like elevens right now? The
eleventh right, y'ah, Yeah, that's even you.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
Know, what's crazy though that you don't see on here,
Like the Warriors are not on the for the toughest
schedule like you I'm saying they they now getting Jimmy
and getting that little look they wanted to the to
the break with a little had esteve. You heard Draymond.
You heard what Draymon said. He in his full bag.
He didn't put he didn't put the whole battery in
the pack. Huh he said we winning.

Speaker 1 (14:15):
You know who else is not on that schedule? The
San Antonio Spurs. Oh yeah, they have made a move
that could really give a push. So it's gonna be
interesting in the West.

Speaker 3 (14:27):
I'm excited to see the second half, bro, Like I'm
excited to see what the I think I Thinkody it's
gonna do, Like what the Warriors gonna do, What the
Spurs gonna look like?

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Yeah, like Philadelphia might be in trouble, her.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Man, that noise I could get loud out in Philly
if something don't change real quick.

Speaker 2 (14:45):
Bro. It's it's too.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Many big names and all of that's going on for
them to be not even in the in the in
the in the play in fight.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
Because the moves they made this summer was for the
push to get a champion. He had a challenge Boss
Yo for them not to even be They're gonna mess
around to be in the play in.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
You know, that's what they're hoping if they they like,
they gotta fight, they gotta fight for real, bro, like
that boy Maxie out there on the island. But because
the guys they I mean just unfortunately, they haven't been
able to be healthy.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
Like, ain't no other way to put it.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
Yeah, you think the Magic is back a little bit
more healthy. I want to see what type of push
they push going into the second half. If any team
I'm worried about, I'm worried about them Bucks because I
think I think they say Gianni's gonna probably be out
for a month or a little less than a month, damn.
So I want to see where they end up at,

(15:43):
you know what I'm saying by the end of but
fairly everybody else is uh. I'm fairly healthy and I
feel like ready to have a big push for the
second half.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
I don't know, you think like you think the Hawks
are gonna be.

Speaker 3 (15:56):
Able to hold down without Without Johnson, they traded away
Hunter Hunter. They did get Carris little Vert back. Who
is he could play anywhere and get a back. But
that could be a position where Miami try and make
some ground on the Hawks.

Speaker 2 (16:11):
And you know what I'm.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Saying like that, that's a that's a little crack in
the door right there.

Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yeah, yeah, I definitely think that they got some something
to do. But that's what that's been the Hawks all
year to me. You know what I'm saying, that's been
the Hawks all year. They lost the guy, added another
decent guy, lost the gout of injury.

Speaker 3 (16:29):
Can't can't, can't can Detroit sneak Milwaukee right now while
the is out? Like can't can that be a little
six and five switch? Where where they gained that ground
right there? Because they've been balling Detroit has now.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Yeah, but if you look at the standings, uh, outside
of the third spot between four on down, anything.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
Can happen right there. Yeah, right, what I'm saying, between
four on down, anything can happen. You're right.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
Let's look, let's look at the west now you right
out ease, that's that's pretty much easy. Like the Okay,
see's been the pace card the whole year. You know
what I'm saying, doing ay thing? Some words are snuck
in the ten, Sacramento at nine, Lakers sitting right there
five or like the Lakers in a pretty situation, Bro,
Like they could get if they if they could get

(17:18):
anybody other than Okase or that or that Denver that
first round, I think they could get busy.

Speaker 2 (17:25):
Bro.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
And I'm not saying that they could just beat everybody else,
but I think as long as they could really stay
the hell away from OKC in Denver.

Speaker 2 (17:33):
Maybe maybe maybe Houston too.

Speaker 3 (17:37):
But like, I don't know, like they you know, they
get a big growing them people, they could big brawl
out of these other teams.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (17:44):
And I don't like, like I say, I'm still I'm
still caught up in the fact defensively and them not
having a solid big man that I'm confident in that
that's the trouble they gonna run into in a seven
game series.

Speaker 2 (17:58):
Yeah, that's just in the me.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Like, no matter how small they try to get and
all that, and every team, every team in the Western
Conference except for Golden State, has a deadly big man,
you know what I'm saying, A big man that can
get a bucket and do all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
So like, yeah, it's just gonna scare.

Speaker 1 (18:21):
Me for them on the big man side of the
defensive side.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
Well, my whole thing about going small was like for
the rest of the season to try and get the
best position in the playoffs they get. Now, when they
get there, it's gonna be what it's gonna be. They're
gonna have to deal with a big boy out there.
So we're gonna say that's gonna stay. Yeah, but what
do you think Memphis could do in this playoffs run?
You think they kind of being slept on, Like they
not being talked about Harley at all, bro like in

(18:47):
the team. I think they're not getting a lot of
talk or a lot of hype or none of that.
And they sitting at number two. Yeah, I think they are.
I think they are.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
I think they they've been riding this wave or they
not saying nothing. Think Jie has been doing a great
job of, you know, playing basketball.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
You haven't been hearing his name come up and nothing. Uh.
They have an All Star and Jared Jackson. Uh.

Speaker 1 (19:10):
Their team, they trade away Marcus Smart, try to add
another piece.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
Uh. I think they're in a great position.

Speaker 1 (19:16):
It's scary for them too, because man, you can run
into the Mavericks, you can run into the Warriors, you
can run into the Kings, you can run into the Spurs,
you can run into timberwolves. It's gonna get ugly, like
the West, gonna be the West, Like yeah, that's what
we call the wild wild West. It's gonna get ugly
all way around. So we're gonna see.

Speaker 3 (19:38):
Okay, let's get to the Let's get to that, to that,
to that, to the you know this this the good
stuff right here.

Speaker 2 (19:44):
We want to see the race for Cooper flag.

Speaker 3 (19:46):
That's if I saw something today with coopl flags, say, man,
I might want to go back to school after seeing
who I'm about to have to come to. Hey, he
I mean you know the n I L sweet. I
don't think he's gonna really go back to school. But
like you, hey, listen, they getting that they getting so
much money these days.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Like if I seen I had to go to the Wizards,
what you might do? Black?

Speaker 1 (20:08):
Yeah, Man, I might have Steve Francis them boys.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Man, hey, man, they ain't I wouldn't want to go
to the Wizards.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
Right now, the Wizards is not looking like the upside
of what they really want to try to put together
and put together something to actually win some games. Uh,
it's just looking shaky over there.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
You know they got you got New Orleans right there,
like like if he could, if New Orleans could win,
he could be all.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Right down there. Yeah, I think he.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
I mean they organizationally, you know, it's been questions about
you know what they're doing down there, But I'm talking
about the.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
Group of guys and players they got him.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
He could if New Orleans could get that number one
pick from the probability, like that could be a little
designation destination out of the.

Speaker 1 (20:53):
Teams that's been shown on the screen. I think New
Orleans is the best fit for him, you know what
I'm saying, that's the best fit for him with c. J. McClellan,
a real veteran, real stand up guy. He don't bite
his tongue and he's a hard worker. Uh, you got
talent and Zion, you got talent and all them guys
over there. They got a nice roster over there. I

(21:13):
think the best fit in will be with New Orleans.
I think everywhere else it's just gonna be. It's gonna
be a little bit more shaky ass be still happen
in New York too. They just they just signed Brandon Ingram.
You got Barns.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
It's like a lot of his position, a lot of.

Speaker 1 (21:33):
His position already, Charlotte, it's a lot of his position
over there too.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
I just don't Yeah, I don't think he'll get that Utah.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
That's probably my second pick for him to go. I
feel like he can fit well in Utah. But in Washington,
I just I don't know where they at as an organization.
When it's time about winning, it's their time about just
flushing the whole toilet and just starting off with some
new water, Like I I think that's what they probably doing.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
Ah Cooper Flag, Hey, that boy, that boy didn't hell
that number one thing down the whole year.

Speaker 2 (22:09):
All right, let's get to some predictions. Black. Let's get
to these predictions. This when I rubs hands like bird Man.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Because this is when we get to bring up the
receipts at the end of the year and see who
was right and who was wrong.

Speaker 2 (22:19):
You feel so so I think we both go agree
on this.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
I'm the MVP, the most valuable player yo as to
the UA, Yeah yeah, yeah, hold on, let me just
say this, though everybody know he you know, young fella
got the swag in the counter, but like, did.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
You see the first coat where he was channeling the
old school Magic Johnson picture when he came in a
a salute, young fella.

Speaker 3 (22:46):
Everybody can't pull off the first coat. That boy had
a big boy.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
J on on like the one Magic had in that
EP before.

Speaker 3 (22:52):
Though, I say, okay, I don't know if that was
his inspo for the coat, but that's what it made
me think of. I'm old school. I remember that Magic picture. No,
that was flat. So we both got We both got
sg A for the.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
For the m v P.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
I think that's gonna be pretty much signed still deliver.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
Yes, sir, Rookie of the Year? Who you got Black?
I got Castle? You got Castles Rookie of the Year.
He's my rookie of the Year. If I had to
pick a second, I probably go with my man from Atlanta,
like he's been looking pretty nice. Yeah, so yeah, I

(23:29):
got Castled, though, yeah, I'm going Castle.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Second place would be Wales from the Grizzlies. For me,
he been shooting the hell out the ball. But Castle
is the is the guy for me for sure, for sure,
defensive player. Right now we two for two, we and
we we win the green. So far, think we about
to stay in the Greens right here at number three.
Defensive Player of the Year. We got wm B. You know,
win B all day every day. Should have been last year.

(23:55):
He the same like like like SGA he should have
been last year. We ain't gotta even talk about it.
He shut that down. He got all the blocks. You
know what I'm saying. People don't even take layups because
he's standing in the pad. NB ain't here to make
no friends. Man, Hey, he got the right man, Tyler.
They'll go to six Man of the Year. It's all
these is all pretty much like kind of like easy.

(24:17):
Who you got?

Speaker 2 (24:19):
Uh? Who you got? Peyton Pritcher Landslide. No, I don't
got Peyton Pritcher. I can't wait for these receipts come
on with you. Damn. I can't think of his name.
But he ain't even up here on the screen. Are
you talking about Malik Beasley?

Speaker 1 (24:37):
I got Malik Beasley six Man of the Year. He
just broke a franchise record in most threes in the
season and still got a whole half a season to go.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
So I got mylak beezy bro Okay.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
I can't wait for these receipts to come Like, no
disrespect to Malik Beasley. But okay, most improved Player of
the year. Who you got here? You know who? I
got Golis all day, Norman Powell all day.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
That's that's you know, self explaining toy.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
Although the other two boys and definitely leveled up and
they both became All Stars this year.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
They already was on the verge though they already.

Speaker 3 (25:22):
Was big time and best player, like well, he run
out the best player on his team, but like he
was already one of them ones out there, and so
was k Norman been stuck in the in the sixth
man bench bro although he has always been big time
and a contributor, but he never got to be twenty
plus points and doing what he's doing how he doing it?
So Storm and Norman easy easy, and this next one

(25:47):
was gonna.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Be easy too.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
That's see the Coach of the Year. Coach of the Year.
I'm sorry in the bad part. I'm serious. The bad
part about this is like in any other year, JB
probably would win it. Any other year E may probably
would win it. But because of what Kenny Atkinson's hod
how he done came in and flipped the damn table

(26:08):
oven and led the whole league and best record from
Wired to Wired so far with the same team, you
feel me like they got like a couple of tinkers
here and there, But like it's easily Kenny Atkinson bro
shout out to j B, shout out to e May
and shout out to you know, I always got to
show show so little to my man down here, my

(26:29):
man down here, coach mos and Orlando shout out to him.
But like it's it's Kenny Atkinson's all day long on
the Coach.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Of the Year this year. I definitely agree with that.
I ain't.

Speaker 3 (26:39):
Yeah, that's that's pretty much easy. You wanna do some
team predictions black and see.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Who's gonna let me know it? You you won't challenge
me on that to do it? Yeah? Man, who's gonna
be the number one seed in each conference? Oh? That's
that's Cleveland and and and okay, see.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
Easy Wired or Wire. I said the same thing. What
team in the West is gonna miss the playoffs?

Speaker 2 (27:04):
Though? Is it be gonna be the Suns, the Spurs,
the Warriors, the Kings or the MAVs. Mm hmm. I'm
gonna go with man, that's a hard. That's a hard.
I'm gonna say the Sacramento Kings. I was gonna say
the same thing out of them.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
I think the Kings fall off if anybody I would
choose them to halfway through the season, who you got
for the championship?

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Winning the championship? Now, pre seeds, can we do who
we're gonna Who's gonna play in the conference finals?

Speaker 3 (27:39):
We could do that too, But preseason I picked the
Bucks to win, and you picked the MAVs to win.
So going off, whatever you wanna do, who gonna make
the who's gonna conference finals?

Speaker 2 (27:50):
And who going conference finals? Is gonna be.

Speaker 1 (27:56):
In the Eastern Conference, It's gonna be the Bucks.

Speaker 2 (28:02):
And the Boston Celtics. Mm hmmm. In the West mm hmm.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
And you just dissing them boys like that. Cleveland don't
getting no love even though they.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Know Bucks and the Celtics.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Again in the West, I'm gonna go with, Man, that's
gonna be a hard one.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
I'm gonna go with okay, see and the Mavericks. Mmmm.
So who coming out of each one?

Speaker 1 (28:53):
I got the Mavericks coming out, I got Boston coming.

Speaker 2 (28:56):
Out, and who wins Boston? Okay, all right?

Speaker 3 (29:01):
East, I got Boston, I got Boston, Cleveland and I
got Boston beating them in the West.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
I got okay see.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
In Denver, Okay See in Denver, and I got okay
See beating them, and then I got Boston beating okay
see in the chipper.

Speaker 2 (29:26):
There you have it? Can I change mine up?

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Change? Go ahead, you David. David ain't gonna change it.
I'm sticking with what I know. Okay, Okay? Can we
can we get? Can we get to the UH?

Speaker 2 (29:40):
Fan questions put him on the board?

Speaker 3 (29:43):
Yes, Cowboy Miles and Q Miles shout out to the Kenbay.
He called you, Miles, like, don't nobody really call you
Miles with deep big fella Miles and.

Speaker 2 (29:53):
Q do coaches.

Speaker 3 (29:54):
Is just the NBA coaching straight during the second half
of the season, or do they keep the same strategy
all season?

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Depends?

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Uh, depends on if you're if you've been winning with
that same recipe, and you you up in the in
the UH, in the conference with what you was doing
in the first half, you do it.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
Uh. Some of the guys that's.

Speaker 1 (30:16):
In that I want to say that six on back range,
they might adjust a little bit more, you know what
I'm saying in the second half.

Speaker 3 (30:24):
So it depends yeah, I think I think it definitely depends,
but I think still even win or lose, I think
all coaches are always kind of tinkering and adjusting different
things they see and trying to improve things as they
see the season go on.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
And and that's what they got the whole staff for.

Speaker 3 (30:41):
They got, you know what I'm saying, all eyes on everything,
seeing like no matter how good or bad they doing,
what can they improve on? How can they adjustice to
make something better? So I think on some level, what
happens for all of them during the year, don b
what teams need to win a chantampionship this season the
most ship Dallas.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
Nobody don't need to win it more than Dallas this year.

Speaker 3 (31:06):
Just because of what they just gave up in the
in the vibes and in Dallas.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
I will say, okay, See needs to be at least
in the championship. There they led up, they have been,
they've been number one in the conference the last two years.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
Said they need to lead to be at least in
the championship, but win to at least be in the championship.

Speaker 3 (31:30):
This is your day. Huh, you just David Ruff. You're
gonna take and remix that man, question and do all this.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
Huh.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
No, I'm just saying. I'm saying I agree with you.
I agree with what you're saying.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
But you said, Okay, see, at least got to get there,
so they don't get it.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
They don't get that. Then what they've been.

Speaker 1 (31:48):
They've been the number one seed for the last two years.
They need to get to the finals. The need to them.
You know what I'm saying, at least get to the finals.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
I wouldn't say win it, but it's a need for
them at least get to the finals, conference final finals.
I feel like they need to get up there.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (32:05):
Respect Joel Montard, How do you guys feel about a
talent like Juju Watkins not being able to play in
the WNBA sooner? When I watch her play, I see
CJ McCollum, Matt Slash Mia Moore in her game.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Hey, no, I'm listen. It don't matter what sport it
is to me.

Speaker 3 (32:23):
Bro Like, I feel like if if a girl like
Serena Williams can turn pro at fourteen, fifteen or however
old her and Venusdon were when they did it, that
same as in the NBA and the NCAA, for guys
like the girls, once they get good enough, they should
be able to go early. I don't see why why,

(32:44):
especially somebody like her Page Becker's, you know, Kaitlin Clark
when she was they were all ready to go before
the time where they had to be there to go.
So for me, yeah, if the girls are ready to go,
and they can and they can ball, and they put
up a enough resume, they should be able to leave
early too.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
Yeah, I agree, but I don't agree. I don't think
the w n b A is ready for girls to
come early. Yeah, I feel like they need to get
a few more teams because they're already losing. They already
losing women first round picks. I forgot about that are
good enough. You got you got women that's getting like
you said, get picked in the first round, and they're

(33:25):
not making them the roster. So I just feel like
it still needs to be some more teams before.

Speaker 3 (33:29):
They have added a couple, like at least about two
to three more. But yeah, they just added. I think
they just added.

Speaker 1 (33:37):
I think it's the Bay Area in Cleveland just just
hopped in. But I think it just needs to be
some more teams so they won't lose talent because they
losing women who who is who are good enough to
play in the w NBA right now?

Speaker 2 (33:52):
Now that's real.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Every year be a complain about girls that just went
first round and dah da da not making it. So
I agree with that, Sydney Northcut. What do you think
about SGA party ways with his agent and representing himself,
especially with a potential match contract this off season. He
ain't wrong. All you gotta do is walking in and

(34:13):
say let me get all that, and they gonna say
right away, sir, it ain't nothing. Really, get you a
good lawyer, you know that, to check over everything and
make sure everything is right and have, if anything, have
that lawyer talk with a good agent to make sure
everything is straight. But like he, he doing it dope,
like Ray Allen did at a certain point where you

(34:35):
know what I'm saying. When you get to that level,
especially like with your your NBA contract is probably the
smallest thing that you need your agent for. When you
on the level of SGA. You need your agent for
other things off the court and different things like that. Really,
but when everything is set and structured the way it is,
and he you a top dog like him, who gonna

(34:57):
demand the most that can be given. It's not a
a lot of wiggle room on negotiations that need to
be done.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
So I love it for him. Yeah, the ship ain't
rockets science, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
Like you, I want the most that I could get
half of the wolvest I could get shaped out and
you're gonna.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Throw it to me because he that he's that big time.

Speaker 3 (35:14):
So it's a no brainer, don b Which are the
top ten teams in the West.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
Do y'all think is coach the best? Houston? Mm hmm.
I would say Houston right now because I.

Speaker 1 (35:36):
Got I got a couple of picks for that.

Speaker 2 (35:41):
Dallas.

Speaker 1 (35:42):
I think you get out of what he gets. I
think Tylu get the best out of what he and
I forgot about t Lou too. I think that like
e May has been doing a remarkable job, and I
think my guy over there at Okay see, he's been
doing a remarkable He's killing them.

Speaker 2 (35:58):
He killing it.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
So you got shout out. We got shout out Doug
Christie too, though he came in and did did well
for Sacond Then, like you were about to say, Michael Malone,
he always one of the best coaches in the league.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
In that West, it goes down. You gotta be the
West is kind of different than the East. You gotta
have some some a voice, a big voice on your
on your team.

Speaker 3 (36:24):
Spurs got him field being pretty good for Pop too.
He seemed to be doing, you know, got a good
rapport with the guys and getting some good stuff out
of them. So you know, I can't remember his name,
but shout him. Shout out him too, Spurs coach. It's
a podcast podcast question for both fellow what's the funniest
thing that you ever seen on the.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
NBA road trip together, whether it.

Speaker 3 (36:46):
Be on a team bus, team playing, the hotel or
anything when we was together.

Speaker 2 (36:53):
Ah man, mmm, I don't even want to. I can't
really say it because that's too much info. Man, I
can't even really let.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
Me answer your question. Is the thing that pop through
your mind? The hotel elevated.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
That's what that's my that's the first day that popped
in my mind. It's a hotel elevator. Details to it.
So I apologize to not answer that question.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Always have mer when you see how we laughed at it,
so you know what.

Speaker 3 (37:33):
Is hell, Yeah, that's right there. I ain't gonna go
there though, but that is not for this. That is
this is a podcast podcast real right there?

Speaker 2 (37:48):
You knew exactly what?

Speaker 3 (37:52):
Yeah, yeah, y'all wouldn't look at the characters and saying
no more, we're gonna Yeah, where does Jalen Brown rank
in history? If he in history, I don't know where.
If you win another finals m v P this year,
I don't know where.

Speaker 2 (38:10):
I mean, just put him ranked in history.

Speaker 3 (38:12):
But I don't even care where ranked the history. All
I know is Jayleen Brown a bad boy. He called
that man got look look like you said, he got
a finals MVP, he got a conference m VP. He
got at the time the biggest contract in NBA history.
He could say he had that at one point. So well,
I got Hiln Brown. Don't even want to care where

(38:33):
he gets ranked in history. But I don't know.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
I got a reverse question for him.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
Where do we rank Kawhi Leonard with two finals MVPs
in history?

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (38:45):
I don't know. That's another one though. That's a listen.
He's a bad motherfucker, like exactly, So I don't know.
I got to wait to shake out. They not they
not they not like in that top ten where you
can start arguing and ship like that. When you're not
in the top ten, it's kind of hard to be like.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
Where is he? I gotta you gotta look at that.

Speaker 3 (39:03):
But yeah, they've done some bad boys, both of them.
P Man, do y'all think you'll ever get Gary back?
Gary Peyton back on here for a proper one on
one and he listen, pe Man, we got you next week, Homie,
we got.

Speaker 2 (39:22):
You, we got you, We already did it. That's our
uncle Gary, by the way, that's our uncle Gary. What up? Black?
What up? Q Flyer? Tiger Nation? What's what's that? High school?
I'll get that? We shall here?

Speaker 3 (39:42):
Man. What y'all think about the rumors of Memphis possibly
trading Morena season where it's become a new Hey, listen,
y'all haven't seen already.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Man.

Speaker 3 (39:54):
Listen, If Luca the don can get moved, literally anything
goes so if it do happen, like I won't be
more surprised than when Luca got moved. It would be surprising,
for sure, because he's the franchise, he's a cornerstone, he's
he's one of them dudes in this league, and you

(40:16):
just don't see them get moved around every day. But
like if the Luca thing didn't teach us anything, it's
that anybody can move around at any point right now,
Like that's the temperature.

Speaker 2 (40:25):
And climbing in this league.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
I think Jiz Memphis and memphisis job. But if they
do decide to move Joe, I hope, like in the
Luca situation, they get some very very valuable to come
back with.

Speaker 2 (40:42):
John.

Speaker 1 (40:42):
You ain't getting close to the type of caliber. It's
gonna be bad for they franchise.

Speaker 3 (40:49):
All I'm gonna say is Dallas was Luca and Luca
was Dallas, and look at what they'll happen.

Speaker 2 (40:55):
And that thing is up in flames right now.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
They got an a d bat, So you know what
I'm saying, Like, if you get rid of Joy, hopefully
you get an AD back. If you don't get none
of the caliber, it's gonna be bad for Messrs.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
Memphis still could be mad, though they might look at
the AD like whatever, it ain't Joh, nothing against Ad.
We just love Joh. We gonna see I like that
question Kennye Moseley, m do we got any more? Or
matter of fact, I don't do no more. Let's get
to the stat of the day. Black it's about that guy.

(41:32):
It's about that guy. SGA scored one thousand, seven hundred
and twenty points before All Star Break. In the history
of the league, only five players have entered the All
Star Break with more points. Wil did it two times
in the sixty one sixty two season. In the sixty
two sixty three Seeds. James Harden, who I be telling y'all,

(41:53):
is a bad man. Put some respect on his name.
He didn't done it two times in eighteen nineteen and
nineteen twenty. Will and Harden not the only one to
do it twice. They lets you know what what type
of business hardened standing on. Then you had Nate Archibald
do it once in seventy two seventy three. You had
the Brody Russell Westbrook do it once in sixteen seventeen.

(42:15):
Then you had the Mamba Kobe Bryant do it once
in five o six.

Speaker 2 (42:19):
So you got to put that in perspective.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
Man, shout out SGA for joining that list, But only
Wilt and James Harden has done it twice. Bro Yeah,
they put some respect on James Harden name. People like
that boy. He he ain't to be played with. Who
are shot of the week, black shot at the Shots too.

Speaker 1 (42:39):
Shout of the Week goes to the Yay Area, the
Bay Area. You know what I'm saying, shout I didn't
put on the Great All Star turned out well. Everybody
then went down there and got their business done, celebrated
and had a good time.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Everybody made it home safe. Uh So shout out.

Speaker 1 (42:57):
To uh the Bay Area and the organs Zation the
Golden State Warriors for hosting the Great All Star Weekend.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
Yes, sir, no doubt respect. I also follow those comments
and echo with him. My shoutout goes to no Featia Collier.
You know what I'm saying. She went out there and
balled out one, the one versus one and the unrival.

Speaker 2 (43:21):
She's you know, she.

Speaker 3 (43:22):
She she She's part of the ownership group that helped
put this whole battered thing together. But I like that
she went out there and said, I'm I'm not only
your own know, I'm a Paul, I'm a hoop in
this league. I'm a gone hand win this whole thing.
And you know what I'm saying, give me get that
two hundred thousand check in. They gonna get the credit

(43:42):
for influence in the league. The NBA and the guys,
because I definitely think that the NBA is gonna pick
this up and try and put it in our game
somehow and make it a part of the thing. I
get them kudos, man, because I think it's a it's
a dope idea. It's a dope thing to put to it.
Because every kid, all of us grew up in at
some point. You played ones, you played King of the Hill,
you played whatever it was. So this is definitely a

(44:05):
part in the aspect of basketball and it's super entertaining.
And shot out the feet for winning the whole damn thing,
and shout out to an Rifles for coming up with
the concept and putting it on. That's my shot out
of the week. Yes, sir, that's it. That's all David Ruffin,
you want to do your freestyle on the way out
since you didn't, you know, you've been handling business and
remixing and running D Moss.

Speaker 2 (44:28):
I don't know what D Moss is.

Speaker 3 (44:29):
I remember seeing you on the television show the show,
Oh d Miles. They saw us on one on one
with Flex. Wis Flex Alexander, not Flex Williams.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Flex.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
You're calling you the wrong name, Cowboy, man, you over
here tripping today? Man auto correct? But uh, David Ruffing,
you want to take us out on the intro since
you was interrupted me on the intro and handling all.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
What you got a first, you got a freestyle, you
got some bars? What you got No, I'm still thinking
about the elevator.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
Hey, Wednesdays at two pm Eastern YouTube knuckleheads, Me and
the Blackest One, we will not be talking about Minnesota, Minneapolis,
and we will not be talking about that damn elevator.

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Straight up. Wah wah wah wah. Go fuck them up.
We have.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
Mh mm hm

Speaker 2 (45:32):
