У цій теплій та глибокій проповіді ми переносимось до восьмого розділу Євангелія від Марка, де Ісус, бачачи втому, голод і щиру потребу тих, хто три дні слухав Його слово, творить диво - годує чотири тисячі людей. Але за цим чудом стоїть набагато більше, ніж просто турбота про фізичний хліб. Це свідчення про Бога, Який бачить кожну нашу потребу, тілесну і духовну, і з любов’ю її задовольняє.
Проповідь розкриває Ісуса як Того, Хто спочатку насичує душу через Слово, яке оживляє, потішає, очищає й укріплює. А вже тоді, у свій час, Він дбає і про тіло. І навіть тоді, коли нам здається, що головне - це ситість, здоровʼя, чи безпека, Ісус бачить глибше: Він піклується про серце, про віру, про вічне життя.
Це роздуми про Ісуса, Який залишається нашим Господом і Годувальником і сьогодні. Він і далі годує нас: у хрищенні - водою і Духом, у Євангелії - прощенням і надією, у Святій Вечері - Своїм правдивим тілом і кров’ю. Це не символ, не образ - це жива присутність Божого Сина, Який знову і знову приходить, щоб сказати: “Я хліб життя. Хто до Мене приходить — не голодуватиме.”
Проповідь нагадує нам: Христос не забуває ні про тіло, ні про душу. Він щедро накриває стіл і запрошує кожного втомленого, голодного, зраненого до трапези, де є все, що справді потрібне. І сьогодні, як тоді, залишається правда: всі їли — і наїлися.
