"لم أبالِ كثيرًا بأي ألم نفسي أحس به، حتى تراكم الأمر علي وأنا جالسة وحولي أهلي أخرجت صرخة مكبوتة من أعماقي و فقدت وعيي بعدها، عندما أفقت سألوني عن سبب ما حصل؟ ولم أجد جوابًا فأنا ذاتي لم أفهم، تكرّر الموقف أكثر من مرة في الجامعة، صرت أجر مع حقيبتي شعور الإحراج، انطويت على نفسي، صارت فكرة الإنسحاب من الجامعة تراودني، ذهبت إلى رقاة شرعيين، أتحسن ولكن ليس كثيرًا، إلى أن زاد الوضع حدة وقالت لي والدتي حان الوقت لأن أذهب لطبيب نفسي.. ومن هنا تغيّر فهمي لكل شيء"
