Ο συγγραφέας θυμάται τι έκαναν νεαροί φοιτητές και σημειώνει: «Το μόνο που μού μοιάζει πλέον εντελώς ξένο είναι η ενέργεια που είχαμε, το πείσμα, να τριγυρνάμε ζαλωμένοι με μια πρωτόγονη βιντεοκάμερα και με το βαλιτσάκι της στην πόλη, κάθε τόσο να σταματάμε και να οσμιζόμαστε τον αέρα σαν κυνηγιάρικα σκυλιά. Ίσως να λέγεται νεότητα».
