ما الذي سيختلف في فهمنا وتعليمنا للسيرة إذا ما أصبح بين أيدينا خريطة واضحة لأنحاء مكة زمن النبوة؟
عمل العتيقي طوال الخمس عشر سنة الماضية في البحث والتقصي وراء روايات السيرة النبوية المختلفة، وتحديدًا تلك التي تتناول جغرافية وطبوغرافية المكان في مكة المكرمة. وكل هذا العمل كان في سبيل الوصول إلى أدق معلومة ممكنة تمهيدًا لإعداد خرائط حديثة واضحة المعالم تعكس صورة الحياة في أنحاء مكة زمن النبوة.
في هذا اللقاء، أخذنا العتيقي في رحلة مرئية لرؤية الديار المقدسة مستعينًا بالخرائط الحصرية التي عكف على إعدادها في السنوات الماضية والتي هي متاحة الآن عبر موقعه الإلكتروني سيرة مابس وأرشدنا من خلالها إلى بعض حكايا السيرة.
