importance, purpose and dynamicof human relationships.
My team and I are disciplinedby faith, love and integrity to
help our clients find thequality relationship they've

(00:28):
always dreamt of.
Each week, I will be sharingthe tools and tips I've learned
that have rooted my success as amatchmaker with other leaders
around the world.
Hello, loves, welcome back.
We are going to talk aboutcelebrating you this Valentine's
Day, embracing love in everyform.

(00:52):
Valentine's Day is almost hereand for some, this day is filled
with love and excitement, butfor others, it can bring feeling
of loneliness, pressure or evendisappointment.
To us in the matchmaking world,it literally feels like of
loneliness, pressure or evendisappointment.
To us in the matchmaking world,it literally feels like it's
our Super Bowl when it comes toeverybody's hearts that we love

(01:13):
and want to take care of.
And every day, I feel, shouldbe Valentine's Day.
But let's dive in.
Let me remind you Valentine'sDay is not just about romantic
love.
It's about love in every formGod's love, self-love and the
love we show to others.
Whether you're single, datingor somewhere in between, you are

(01:37):
already deeply loved by the onewho created you.
So today we're shifting thefocus from what the world says
about love to what God says.
We're talking about embracinglove in every season,
celebrating yourself withoutfeeling incomplete, and dating

(02:01):
with purpose as a Christiansingle.
So grab your cup of coffee ortea or whatever makes you feel
cozy, and let's dive into thisconversation.
Ask yourself when was the lasttime you truly celebrated
yourself?
Not because someone else did,not because you hit a milestone,

(02:23):
but simply because you arefearfully and wonderfully made,
as it says in Psalms 139.14,.
So often Valentine's Day canmake us feel like something is
missing if we're not in arelationship.
But let me remind you, you arealready complete in Christ.

(02:46):
Your worth isn't tied to arelationship status.
It's rooted in your identity asa child of God.
That's the best love.
Loving yourself isn't selfish.
It's essential.
When you see yourself throughGod's eyes, you'll treat
yourself with the kindness, patience and grace that he does.

(03:09):
Self-love is about honoring thetemple God gave you mentally,
emotionally, spiritually.
So this Valentine's Day, let'sshift the focus.
Here are some ways to celebrateyou Spend intentional time with
God, and that means more thanjust five minutes.

(03:29):
Have a date with Jesus, readhis word Journal and let him
remind you of your worth.
Do something you love, takeyourself out, buy the flowers,
run that bubble bath, speak lifeover yourself, practice daily
affirmation, look in the mirrorand declare I am loved, I am

(03:55):
chosen, I am enough, because Godalready said you are enough,
because God already said you are.
When you embrace godlyself-love, you set the
foundation for every otherrelationship to come into your
life, and that is paramountbefore ever getting into a
healthy relationship.
Now let's talk about dating, because I know for some of you,

(04:19):
valentine's Day can feel like aloud reminder that you're single
.
But let me challenge that.
What if, instead of seeingsingleness as a waiting room, we
saw it as a season ofpreparation?
As a Christian, single datingisn't just about finding someone

(04:40):
who makes you happy.
Dating isn't just about findingsomeone who makes you happy.
It's about finding someone whoaligns with your faith, your
values and your purpose.
That means we don't settle, wedon't rush and we don't
compromise just to avoid beingalone.
So how do we date in a way thathonors God?

(05:03):
Start with prayer Before yousay yes to a date, ask God for
wisdom and discernment.
Is this person aligned with hisplan for you?
Know your worth.
You are a daughter or son ofthe king.
Don't entertain anything lessthan God's best for you.

(05:26):
Set boundaries emotionally,spiritually and physically
Boundaries.
Protect what God is building inyou.
Trust God's timing.
Love isn't about speed.
It is about alignment.
Love isn't about speed, it isabout alignment.

(05:46):
Don't let the holiday make youfeel like you need to rush
something that isn't for him.
Dating God's way isn't aboutbeing perfect.
It's about being intentional, and when you focus on becoming
the best version of yourself inChrist, the right person will
recognize your value.

(06:06):
So to wrap it up, in conclusion,as we step into Valentine's Day
, I want you to hold onto thistruth you are already so deeply
loved, not just on February 14th, not just on February 14th, but
every single day, by a God whocalls you his own.
You don't need a relationshipstatus to feel whole, because

(06:31):
God's love has already made youcomplete.
Whether you're celebrating withfriends on a date or enjoying
some peaceful time with Jesus, Iencourage you to embrace love
in every form, starting with theway you see yourself.
Love yourself with grace, walkin confidence and trust that

(06:54):
God's plan for your love storyis unfolding in his perfect
timing and if you are datingsomeone, let this be a reminder
to pursue a love that honors Godand aligns with your values.
You are worth being pursued, with intention, patience and

(07:15):
respect.
Let's walk confidently intothis Valentine's Day with joy,
gratitude and the peace ofknowing that God's love is more
than enough.
