(00:00):
It seems we have a theme for2024.
In the five of wands because thefive of wands came back.
We had this card in March and wenow have it again in June.
last month we were working withthe hermit.
We were working with rememberingwho we are.
To know who we are fully andpresent that out into the world.
(00:22):
The energies for June.
Our back to that, scatterednesslack of focused.
Which is a possibility it's allmorning.
Hey, make sure you're focusing.
So that you keep everything.
In alignment with who you reallyare.
As always I'm reading from thewild, unknown taro.
(00:45):
Bye Kim Kranz and the five ofones we're going to review this
again is scattered lack offocus, lost.
The five of wands is a card ofconflict.
You may find yourself scattered, distracted, tending to
everything and nothing.
Since wants deal with our dreamsand goals, it usually means this
conflict resides within yourenergy moves, outward in many
(01:09):
directions.
Yet you are suffering inside.
Take this card as a warning, find ways to bring calm and
focus to your mind.
Or these troubles will onlyincrease.
Mid-summer is a time where thereis a lot of energy moving.
In all directions in all places,it seems like we're pulled to
grad parties over here, weddingsover there.
(01:31):
Family reunions, friendsgathering together, going out to
the lake.
There are so many differentthings that happen in the summer
because.
It's warm enough.
The sun is out sometimes.
And there's more light in theNorthern hemisphere.
So.
It is very easy to get pulledaway from.
What we really need to befocusing on for our own inner
(01:54):
growth and development, our owninner peace.
If we could.
Focus, maybe more on inner peacethan in our development, we
would develop, but in a waythat.
Actually fulfills us rather thanmakes this feel like, well, I'm
being productive today.
And I still feel empty.
(02:14):
I think a lot of people.
Try, try, try so hard to do somany things.
Yeah.
We end up feeling like we'vedone nothing.
And this card this month, it's areminder to.
Bring it back to your breath.
Bring it back to your presentmoment.
(02:35):
I'm thinking of that.
Little story about the Zenmaster who's asked how are you,
so.
Calm and centered andenlightened.
And his response was.
When I am walking.
I am walking.
When I'm eating.
I am eating.
When I am sleeping.
I am sleeping.
(02:56):
You get the point when I amdoing something that is what I'm
doing.
And that means that is exactlywhat I am focused on.
I've learned to bring this intomy life in the way of.
When I am somewhere.
That is the place I want to be.
Work.
(03:17):
Most people go to work.
Waiting for it to be over.
I choose every moment of my lifeto be where I am.
So when I go to work.
I am focusing my energy.
My thoughts.
Myself on.
Being at work and doing work tothe best of my ability.
(03:39):
And it baffles people.
How I keep my spirits up.
I say it's because I don't wantto be anywhere else.
Right now, this is where I am.
This is where I want to be.
This is a really challengingconcept, I think, to grasp and
to embody and to live.
It's taken me many years.
And a lot of fights with FOMO.
(04:03):
I just realized like, No I'mmissing out.
On my life.
When I'm in that experience ofFOMO about something I'm not
doing.
That means I'm not present.
To what I am doing.
Right now.
It cured my FOMO.
Oh, you got to go see the fullsolar eclipse.
(04:25):
That is amazing.
Tell me about it.
And then, you know what happenedbecause I was there with that
person when they were explainingit.
I got to experience it.
Just like I was there.
Um, almost just like I wasthere.
It.
Is an art.
It is a science.
It is a practice to be.
Focused.
Exactly where you are.
(04:47):
How do we practice this?
Awareness.
But how do we practiceawareness?
For me, the best thing ismeditation.
Meditation, whether it's movingmeditation, whether it's silent
meditation, whether it's abreathing meditation, whether
it's active meditation, likeKundalini yoga.
Do something.
With the intention and thatholds within it, the intention.
(05:12):
Of bringing yourself back to thepresent moment.
Knowing that you're going to getpolled.
Knowing that your minds aregoing to wander off.
And so the people that you metthe other day and the dinner
that you want to have, or theparty you're throwing next week,
whatever.
Yes.
You're going to get pulled awayand scattered, but bring it
back.
So practice.
(05:33):
Coming back to this momentthrough.
A practice.
That holds within it, thatintention.
I would love to hear what yourpractices for this.

are more than welcome to go backand listen to that episode to
(05:55):
get the energies.
Of, I think it was the hermitand find out how you did re kind
of re-evaluate reflect.
And let's move forward.
In focus.
From here.
Until next time I'm sending allthe love and then some more
(06:16):
we'll talk.
As soon.
