The Giants head into Denver with a growing injury list and the Broncos’ defense openly questioning rookie QB Jaxson Dart’s swagger. Between banged-up starters, key returns, and a fired-up Denver pass rush, Week 7 is shaping up to be one of the toughest matchups yet for Big Blue.

Broncos are coming in relatively healthy, but their top defenders are nursing a few concerns. Bonitto, who leads the entire NFL in sacks, was limited early in the week but practiced fully by Thursday and is expected to play. LB Singleton, the team’s leader in tackles, is also good to go despite a thumb issue. J Cooper and Greenlaw both missed some time with quad injuries but appear on track to play, while Elliss remains the most questionable of the group after missing both practices with a shoulder injury.

On the Giants’ side, the situation looks far more complicated. Banks missed Wednesday’s practice for personal reasons but returned Thursday. Linebackers Bozeman and Flannigan-Fowles both sat out with ankle and hamstring injuries, while center JMS is still in concussion protocol. Slayton is also sidelined with a hamstring issue that kept him out of practice both days. Eluemunor and Robertson-Harris have been limited with shoulder, back, and knee problems, and Hyatt continues to manage an ankle injury. Defensive linemen Golston and D.J. Davidson missed Thursday’s session, while Adebo and Belton were both limited with shoulder and neck issues. It’s a long list, and several key starters could be in danger of missing Sunday’s game.

The Giants’ path to victory will come down to trench play and protection. Denver’s front seven has been relentless, and with NY shuffling its offensive line again — including Alex “Palcho” Palczewski expected to start at left guard — Dart will need to rely on his quick decision-making and mobility to survive the pocket pressure. The matchup could be decided by how well the Giants’ line can hold up against Bonitto and Cooper, two of the hottest edge rushers in football right now.
