Speaker 1 (00:02):
I hear that you're a crazy Kleen best.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
I love cats, Cat Cass Cat, Two Girls, Three Cats, congratulations,
keep you going your transformation into crazy Catleen. Hello, welcome
to another episode of.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Two Girls, Three Cats with Me Sammy and Me Jenna.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
This of course is your favorite cat podcast, probably because
there's not very many cat podcasts, but it is your
favorite because I mean, who doesn't love cats and podcasts exactly?
And us a match made in heaven, it really is.
So for disclosure, I am a radio producer, are you?
And as like you, yes, well you're a social What
(00:43):
is your exact job title?
Speaker 1 (00:44):
Digital content producer?
Speaker 2 (00:46):
Because often I'm talking about you and I'm like, she's
a producer but it's social media, and I'm like, I
don't know exactly what the title is.
Speaker 3 (00:51):
It's still a producer, but different type. I guess, all right.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
So I deal with audio. Jena deals with visual, everything else,
everything else. So we're like bit beween the two of us.
We cover everything very much. So, speaking of covering things
as part of my job, the other day I actually
covered the Aria reward red carpet how fancy, So I
was forbidden from talking about cats with artists on the
Red Carpet.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
Whoever been you from doing that, I will have a
word with them, because you can talk about cats whenever
and wherever you want.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
It's a little bit of a running joke with us
because whenever they're like whenever I'm in a meeting, I'm like, oh,
do you know that we have a podcast and I'm
like cats, cats, cats. So I was banned from talking
about cats on the Red Carpet, but it did organically
come up good. So I'm going to put you this
very awkward bit of interview. This is genesisu wuzoo.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
Oh my god, he's amazing.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
We spoke okay, so we said a year ago when
you were nominated last year, and my cat was in
the background and my cat did a poo on camera,
and I don't think you realized, but i'd need to
confess that to you. Say that again. The cat came
up behind me while I was talking to doing the
interview and did a pool. That's amazing. You're never going
to forget that now.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
See it into my memory forever.
Speaker 2 (01:59):
Thank you for so Basically, when I first interviewed it him,
it was over zoom. It's during lockdown and just got
blue belt and she was in the background of my
zoom and it was when she was a Kiden and
she just learned how to use her little box and
she went and she did her business in the little
trade behind me as I was doing the interview. And
now when I mean, I love Genesis of Uzoo, Yeah,
he's so cooled, like I just I love his music.
I love him, I love his vibe. I think he's brilliant.
Speaker 3 (02:20):
He's honestly one of the best Australian artists out there
at the.
Speaker 2 (02:23):
Moment, one hundred percent. And so I saw him on
the red carpet and I'm a big fan anyway, but
I was like, I gotta tell you something, and I
told him the story and so I did. I did
kind of ask about cats good and I saw a
couple of artists walk in the red carpet who I
know have cats. Yeah, but I did, you know, I
was professional. I didn't bring it up. Oh come on,
but you know what, what who did we see this morning?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
We saw the one and only doctor Chris Brown.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
Very exciting. So I saw you taking a photo of him?
Speaker 3 (02:53):
Yes, yes, so him and the living room crew. I
guess they all came in to have an interview with
JONESI and Amanda who I work with, and obviously because
I'm the digital producer, I was taking photos and videos
and things and Sam came in at that time and
saw that happening and.
Speaker 1 (03:10):
Took the opportunity to ask for a photo.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
So I saw Jenna taking a photo of doctor Chris Brown,
and I was like, there ain't no way that he
is leaving this building without us getting a photo with him.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
No what.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
So I was like, I'm such a big fan, please
come and have a photo with me. And then someone
said something about podcasts, and I was like, thank you
for doing my work for me, brilliant, And so we
did pose for a photo and we were like, you
have to come on our podcast and he did say yes.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
He did yes, He did say yes, and he said
he asked us about what it's about exactly cat.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
As he was leaving to you know what he's said.
I don't know if you heard this. I was like,
I've got a lot of opinions about cats, and so
I'm like, this is why this is the podcast to
come on. If you have opinions about cat.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Of course, doctor Chris Brown, I want to hear your opinions.
Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah, let's get him on.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
We have to.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
We have to. How exciting was that though, to see
doctor Chris? I know, so cool? We love him. Two girls,
three cats? Okay, so I hate to be obvious.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Why what's happening?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
But you know the age or debate. Are you a
cat person or you're a dog person? Oh? Yes, and
if you're a cat person, you can't be a dog person.
If a I disagree with this, you know I disagree
with that. We were talking to Liam in the office
the other day about this, and he was saying that
he is a dog and a cat person, and we
were like, so are we?
Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yes, you can be both.
Speaker 2 (04:27):
You can be both. This is a world where you
can literally be anything.
Speaker 1 (04:30):
Yes, why is it?
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Oh, you can only be a cat or a dog person.
But Liam did come up with something quite interesting which
has stayed with me. He said that if you're a
cat person, you also like dogs, but if you're a
dog person, you don't necessarily like cats.
Speaker 1 (04:43):
That's interesting.
Speaker 2 (04:45):
Actually, so cat people are just animal people, whereas dog
people are very dog people.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
That's so fascinating because I feel like you that we're
both cat and dog people.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
Yeah, and to be honest.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
We love all animals, but whenever you come across a
stereoty called dog person, Yep, it's no. Dogs are better
than cats, Dogs are better than these. Dogs are the
best animals.
Speaker 1 (05:06):
Whatever. Yeah, come on, you can be both.
Speaker 3 (05:09):
You don't have to be restricted to liking one animal.
Speaker 2 (05:12):
It's like that Aldel Paso ad. She's like, yes, why
can we have bow?
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (05:20):
But seriously, though, like I love dogs so much.
Speaker 3 (05:24):
Yes, we both do. Whenever there's a dog in the office,
we go crazy.
Speaker 2 (05:28):
We drop all of our work.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
As busy as we are, we will make our way
to that dog.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
We will find that dog. And also, if I'm walking
down the street and there's a cute dog on the
other side of the street, I'm going to cross over
and I'm going to talk to that dog. I'm going
to find out all of its information from ben owner
I do.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
It's just respectful.
Speaker 2 (05:45):
But this one, this is how I met one of
my best friends, Laura.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Is that how you met?
Speaker 2 (05:49):
So basically, she would get coffee the same place I
would get coffee, and I started talking to her dog,
and then every time I would see her and her dog,
I would be in such a good mood. Afterwards, and
it's like, because I love the dog and I love
her and we're really really close friends.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
I had no idea.
Speaker 2 (06:03):
That's literally that's so cute. And we formed such a
really quick bond over a short amount of time, all
thanks to the dog.
Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yes, that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (06:12):
You can form friendships relationships over pets. It's so simple,
particularly dogs because obviously, yeah, you take your dog.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
For a walk. Yeah, you know what I might do
this weekend, Well, I might take Blossom for a walk
on the lead.
Speaker 1 (06:26):
Oh have you done it before?
Speaker 2 (06:27):
No? I I tried to put her in the harness, yeah,
a couple of weeks ago, and she did not like it.
Speaker 1 (06:32):
But did she just fall over?
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Yeah? Yeah, and you feel terrible, I know, feel like
I'm so sorry. No. I thought you'd like it and
then we could go outside. But you know how she
runs into the corridor. Yeah. What I'm thinking is maybe
I'll let her run into the corridor and then I'll
put it and she'll be like oh okay, and then
would just like struck down the streets, be like, Okay,
this is cool.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
That's a good idea.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
It probably won't work, might not work, but I would
love to see how it goes.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
You're a crazy cat.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
Two girls, three cats, speaking of cats that sound like dogs,
which we weren't speaking of.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
I was like, when were we talking about anyway?
Speaker 2 (07:09):
Yes, so we had Shan sent us this in. So
this is her cat, Snowy, Snowy, who is so vocal.
He is just a little chatterbox and sometimes sounds like
a dog.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
And he's actually so.
Speaker 3 (07:28):
Cute, so cute, and what a little cutie.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
He's quite a big cutie. Actually he actually is.
Speaker 3 (07:35):
I retract that saying what a big cutie.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
So, hello, Snowy, we love you.
Speaker 1 (07:41):
You love you still much, little one.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
You are a Cat of the week. Shall we make
a Cat of the Week segment? Yes, yeah, let's do.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
Let's do Cat of the Week from now on. From
now Cat.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
Of the apologies to the cats that we've talked about previously.
Speaker 3 (07:55):
Yes, we're gonna No, you're still Cat of the week. Yes,
but whatever week.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
You have So Harry and Amber last week, yep you
were cat of the week. Yep, Liz with Ollie who
had the jelly cat. Yet of the week, All cats
of the week. This is so inclusive. I love it.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
It's so wholesome.
