Northwell Health hospitals received a total of 45 national awards and was recognized for 16 state achievements, according to the latest analysis by Healthgrades, one of the leading resources consumers use when choosing a hospital or doctor.

Several Northwell Health hospitals are among the nation’s top 10% for specialty care by Healthgrades,
one of the leading resources consumers use when choosing a hospital or doctor.
Northwell hospitals received 20 "America’s Best Hospitals for Specialty Care Awards" and achieved 25 "Specialty Excellence Awards,

" placing Northwell in the upper tier of hospitals for specialty care nationwide.
Northwell also received 16 state ranking achievements,
reflecting its commitment to delivering excellent care.
North Shore University Hospital is at the forefront having received America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Coronary Intervention Award™ for the 14th consecutive year.

Staten Island University Hospital marked its seventh consecutive year receiving the same award.

The distinction also went to the following hospitals (01:02):
Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park;
Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan;
South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore;
Huntington Hospital;
Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson;
Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco.

” Healthgrades evaluated the risk-adjusted mortality and complication rates for over 30 of the most common conditions and procedures at approximately 4500 hospitals nationwide to determine the top performers in specialty care in its 2025 hospital assessment.
