5 Minutes Of Authenticity With Pritha

5 Minutes of Authenticity With Pritha - is a safe space where I talk about various aspects that I encounter as a Life Coach who enables individuals live their most authentic life. I like to get deep into a topic, but also raise the curiosity of individuals listening in to reflect and work on their own mindsets to make their journeys more purposeful and meaningful. In the five minutes, you will find some questions some concepts, some answers, but most importantly you will find a focus on authenticity that will leave you feeling empowered and enabled. sometimes I choose to do multiple episodes getting into a topic, and other times I will pick something that is relevant or pertinent and share thoughts. I would love your feedback and your own interpretation of the concepts that I introduce in this little podcast. I view my role as a Life Coach almost like that of a tour guide. So come along on this journey with me and let's see what we find Visit https://swellcast.com/lifecoachPritha to add your episodes to this community podcast, or to start your own podcast.

"Of course, we talk a little bit, and I leave. But yet she takes that time. So that note, to me, is such an act of rebellion. It's a beautiful kind of rebellion where in a world of Russia and transaction, she chooses to appreciate, right? So what happens typically is that we often. It's called hedonic adaptation bias. It's a psychological term. But what happens is we quickly normalize...

"This is November. It's a special month for me because I was born on this month 55 years ago. And I try and find some way to express gratitude on this during this month. I remember for a long time I would do gratitude posts on Facebook or on some other blogging portal. But what I decided then, that given we choose a theme every month, how about we begin our November series, the Anatom...

"It has given me a newfound appreciation for the medical profession, and it has also taught me a sense of discipline about what I eat going forward and what I avoid. But in all of this, while I was going through this process, and thankfully I'm a person who doesn't really care too much about what people think of what my face looks like. And so I never hid myself. I never had. I never ...

"You know, friends, there is this huge, I want to say, a perception or this, this culture that glorifies this big leap, right? The overnight success, the viral breakthroughs, the dramatic befores and afters. Because we are in an age of instant gratification. And when we don't have that, we are not always associating it with success. We don't always call it as an act of being successfu...

"And the reason the blood work looked so good is because I pretty much have only anti inflammatory foods now so as to prevent any flares. And so because of this skin irritation, I've had to change my diet pattern like I said. And that is reflected in my blood work, which looked fantastic."

"And it didn't matter which side of what polarity or what. What side you were on. With the masks or without the mask, with the vaccine, without the vaccine. That is not the issue. The issue is that of the fog, of the confusion and all that it entailed. So if you think about your time during, you know, your state of mind during the pandemic, what was it like? I can tell you mine. My mo...

"It signifies that it is okay to let go only because unless we do, our branches will not open up to new leaves. Right during this time of the year in India, there is a flower called parijat, which is also my daughter's name. Blooms. It's the most tender, beautiful white bloom with a tiny orange stem. And the only way you can gather sampari jat in a little container is if you shake the...

"So in the Japanese concept, there is the beautiful pottery form of Kintsuki. And what that is is basically the concept where when a vase breaks or anything breaks, it's put together by, by molten gold that, that gilds or holds the pieces together. And what you have and the final product is this supposedly broken glass, but looking phenomenal with the, the gold cracks. The gold in bet...

"The moment you let those tears spill, the moment you accept that this is the best I can do, I cannot keep trying. I have to accept as it is, there is freedom because it, it is kind of a sense of renewal. And then once we have gone through that process, change becomes easier, easier because you have got yourself all clenched up trying to let go. And the moment you release that pressur...

"And he talked about that. He talked about how the goal, the ball hit the football hit, the soccer ball hit the goal post. And he didn't want to face his team, he didn't want to talk to his friends because he felt he had let the team down. But what is interesting in the essay is the way he talks about it and continues on and says, you know what? There is always a next time."

"What have I not accessed within myself? You may have set out with certain intentions in the year, no matter if it's a personal goal or a professional goal. And you may have gotten from point A to B, but maybe you wanted to get to C or D. So question yourself is okay. What held me back? Was I my own roadblock? Were there things that were within my control that I didn't quite understan...

"That is the change, friends. That is external to you. Okay? That is not something you can control. That is something that you are being subjected to. Transition happens when you take that change and decide what to do with it. How are you going to deal with it now? Work situation. If this is a toxic environment caused by one individual in your team, you are a manager. How do you trans...

"One of my barre teachers, she's an incredible instructor. She teaches various forms of fitness, and when we stretch at the end, she will often say a statement that has stayed with me and will stay with me lifelong is that the longer we're able to sit in a position of discomfort physically, the longer we can stay with it mentally. And if you remember, the previous episode we talked ab...

"So, as you know, we have been talking about discomfort this month in August, and the last two episodes focused on what it looks like and acknowledging it. This episode I want to touch back on. The example I brought up in the first episode in the series was about the discomfort that I felt about having a conversation with a dermatologist because of a reaction that I had after taking t...

"Give it a name, sit down with it and ask yourself, why am I not taking the time to take this pebble out? Until next time, this is Preetha with five minutes of authenticity, and we will touch upon the some of the things we can do to remove this tension. Probably acknowledge why we have this tension, why we are not able to address it. We will talk more next time. Thank you. Until then,...

"Anyway, one of the things she had to do was to memorize monologues from Macbeth and I think from some other place where she had to learn, memorize this Shakespearean English, very different kind of syntax and verbiage, etc. And then recite that I believe in front of her friends or coaches or whatever. Now I am not there, so I don't know what's going On. I'm hoping she's doing fine, b...

"What does that look like? And why are we not there yet? And what is holding us back? And what would make us happy to be there? Right? So in this final episode in the series, we breathe beneath the service of surface of Overwhelm. And like I said, we reconnect with the power of authenticity. So before that, let's just begin wherever you are."

"The other thing we often face when we face overwhelm is this feeling of being alone in our struggle. And that overwhelm can. That feeling of overwhelm can isolate us, and it can make us feel we are completely alone, struggling through this on our own. And that can be a downward spiral. This is where you have to tell yourself that I give myself permission to seek help and support. It ...

"It's just that, you know, if you look at it, it's these tiny grains of sand, but they keep rising because of the wind pattern, and suddenly there is no visibility. It's in your eyes, in your face, everywhere. But if you think about the tiny grains of sand, you realize they are not huge rocks. They're small pieces of composite actions that we can probably work around that will stop th...

"I will give you an example. I decided to be a stay at home mom because I knew that's what I wanted to do. Now, during that time, it was so interesting to see that the moms who decided to work and juggle it all be the best they could be at work and at home, faced a certain kind of judgment. Those of us who decided to stay home often were asked, what the heck do you do all day? Change ...
