702 Sports on the Sideline with Big Al and JP is a weekly action-packed episodic that covers everything sports—from the WNBA, College Football, NFL, MLB, NBA, Hockey, and a whole lot more, including the Las Vegas community and its involvement in local, amateur, and professional sports. Harvey, coordinator at The C.A.R.E. Complex (200 Foremaster Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89101), is a vital source of hope and help at the center of the homeless epidemic in North Las Vegas. A high school basketball All-American and Hall of Fame inductee at West Virginia University, Harvey now finds his purpose off the court as he oversees in-person operations at The C.A.R.E. Complex. Working directly with the homeless, he helps direct those in need to the vital services they need, from bus passes and identification retrieval to health care and job assistance, aiding them through a permanent transition from homelessness.
Celia, a Volunteer from MSBN Church, joins her group of church members every week at the C.A.R.E. Complex to help feed the homeless. They collect donations throughout the city and meet every Wednesday morning to provide for those in need. They serve everything from coffee, juice, fruits, cereal and soup, providing a meal for the homeless.
