Sydney Knott founded Horses4Heroes in 2006 with family to provide affordable and accessible horseback riding for community heroes and their families. Since then, the organization has expanded nationally and won the American Horse Council's Time to Ride Challenge twice. Sydney received the Equine Industry Vision Award in 2017, recognizing her contributions to the equine industry. She is a USC graduate and an experienced public relations professional with over 40 years in the field. Sydney currently resides in Las Vegas with her husband, William Cunningham, a Vietnam Veteran and former Navy Seabee.
