Adam Turteltaub grew up in one of those crazy Beverly Hills families where he was surrounded by some of the most famous people in the world, including Mel Brooks, Anne Bancroft and Redd Foxx. His father, Saul Turteltaub, was an iconic TV writer and producer who wrote for Sanford & Son, produced What's Happening? and participated in a host of other memorable '70's and '80's sitcoms. As an adult, Adam happily stayed out of the entertainment industry but he has an endless trove of stories from his childhood where "Bring Your Kid to Work" day meant hanging out on the sets of the top-rated television shows of the time.
