What is the Melbourne Accelerator Program? And how to get involved.

In this week's episode we had the pleasure of sitting down with the Director of the Melbourne Accelerator Program Campbell Walshe. As a previous alumni of the program and now heading up the entire operation, we took the time to pick Campbell's brain about all things entrepreneurship and start-ups.

Having had a successful start-up himself and worked in multiple other businesses, Campbell was able to share his experiences, ups and downs and plans for the future of MAP and Melbourne University's involvement.

Campbell gave us a first hand account of one of his successful start-ups CNS Dose, it's relation to MAP and what's in store for the future. We discussed his thoughts on the top 3 industries desperate for innovation and entrepreneurship to take advantage of massive growth opportunities.

Campbell shared with us the keys to having a successful start-up team, individuals, teams of 2-3, 2 entrepreneurs 1 mentor. He discussed his biggest lessons learnt from his start-up experience and his biggest achievements

We asked Campbell his opinion on how long should a start-up give themselves to get traction, validate and grow, 1 year, 18 months, 3 years? We asked Campbell who his inspiration was and the people in his space that he looks up to.

We hope you enjoy this week's episode and encourage you to get in contact with the Melbourne accelerator program here: http://themap.co/
