On May 19th 1983 , while driving home from a friends house Diane Downs and her 3 children were waved down by a “bushy haired stranger” to pull over. After pulling over, Diane is attacked by the man as he attempts to car jack her and he shoots her 3 small children. Diane manages to escape and “drives like a lunatic” to be hospital after being shot herself, in the arm. Or so Diane claims…. But we come to learn the kind of crazy that Diane is.
