Serbian City Club had the pleasure of hosting Vesna Trifunov Collins, a Senior Immigration Lawyer, on Thursday, 2nd February 2023, as part of the 15th annual Serbian Month in Great Britain.
During the discussion we reviewed all important changes and updates in the UK immigration law, and how those would impact the citizens of Serbia who currently live, work and study in Great Britain, and even those planning to come. We reflected on main differences between the student and graduate visa, marital and fiancée visa, reviewed most common mistakes when applying for tourist/visitor visa and noted what to look for in order to avoid traps when applying for any category visa.
We further discussed Global Business Mobility Visa and whether dependents could be brought under that category. We also reflected on benefits of skilled workers visa, process for becoming a sponsor and getting a licence to become a licenced sponsor.
