That question is deep and hasmany layers.
Did I wait too long?
But let me tell you something.
As someone who's been inradiologic technology for over 20

years, age actually hasnothing to do with it and may work
in your favor.
Let's get this out of the way.
37 years old.
It's experience, it's wisdom,it's knowing what you want this time
around.
It's being flexible and humbleenough to pivot.
And here's the real question.
Can you survive a programthat's going to demand your time,
your focus, your energy forthe next two, maybe three years?

So this is the practicality ofan MRI program.
Most of them are full time.
Daytime programs require that.
Even though they say hybrid oronline, that just means your lectures
are online.
When it comes to yourclinicals, these are in hospital
imaging centers and they'reusually done during the daytime,
maybe weekends.
But you're not going to seethe things you really need to see.

And that means you'll have tophysically be in a facility scanning
patients hands on.
So when you work full time,you have to ask yourself this.
Number one.
Can I afford cut hours orswitch shifts?
Will I have time to study?
Working full time, caring fora toddler who's going to help with
child care while I'm inclinicals or in school studying?

Because that's the realvariable, not your age.
You're going to have to say noto things for a season.
Maybe you can't work weekendsor you need help from family or your
partner picks up more at home.
MRI school, remember, istemporary, but it's intense.
